Hey everyone! Wanna tell you all something. To all of my guest reviewers, I have to let you all know something. Many of you don't know this but I am working on another story alongside this one. It has really rankled a LOT of people. So much so that they have resorted to using actual threats against me. I know these are fake, that they are just trying to scare me into no longer writing that story. Don't worry, I am not mad. I have known for a while that story was not going to please a whole lot of people.
Not wanting drama to form, I have deleted those reviews. But to me, that wasn't going to be enough. So...I turned on the Guest Review Mod here on FF . Net. I'm NOT denying my guests a chance to give me some feedback and support. But I am now being a tad more careful into what is allowed. I will check my Guest Review mods in the allotted time if i can.
So don't worry, my guest reviewers, you can still review, I'm just being a tad more careful on what I allow in my reviews. If you want to know the name of the story, to those who have profiles on here, PM me. I'll tell you the name then.
Heavy stuff done, on with the story!
The week was up and on the Sunday after Jaden's interview on Duel Links, everyone had gathered at the Kaiba dome. Hundreds of Aster Fans and Jaden's fans alike came out. The atmosphere was tense, the passion hot. At CDA, everyone was once again tuned in to watch the duel of millennium.
"Good evening, everyone! I'm Jean Graves, your announcer for the night! One week ago to the day, Jaden Yuki, The Supreme King of the Ring met Aster Pheniox's challenge head-on! Any thoughts, Travis?"
"My only thought is this; Jaden Yuki hinted in the interview that he was NOT using the trio of cards that made him famous, The Wicked God Monster cards. So...what does he in store for the rising Phoenix?"
"Not sure, Trav, but the fans are rowdy tonight!"
It was true, everyone was cheering and calling for either duelist. A pillar of black fire erupted from the stage, making everyone gasp. From the black fire, a single figure marched out. Stepping through the fire, it was revealed to be Jaden. He wore his black armor, sans his helmet and waved to the crowd. His entrance got massive roars, the fires fizzling out behind him. He took his spot, crossed his arms, and waited.

Everyone at CDA cheered when Jaden made his entrance, the staff all smirking. The Central top and GX crew were commenting on Jaden's new deck but why he had taken out the Wicked god cards. Bastion had an idea on what cards he was using. Telling the Central top made them all 'ah' in understanding while the GX crew overheard.
"The Sacred Beast cards?" Salome asked. "What are those?"
"They're a group of cards in the same class as the Egyptian God monster cards and Wicked God monsters." Chazz said, crossing his arms.
The Central top told the tale of yesteryear, making the GX crew's jaws to drop. They had seen their cards vanish last year, but they came back! Alexis nodded sadly. One of their own had gone rouge on them and took the cards for his own greedy desires. As a result, their power ran amok and harmed the Duel Spirits. But Jaden bested the man and gained them.
"So you're saying Jaden is the only one who can safely use those cards?" Miles asked, shocked.
"Sam Hell." Hassleberry breathed.
"This is all nice and all, but I got one question." Came a voice none of them wanted to hear.
They turned to Ian, his smirk arrogant as ever.
"Where the fuck is Aster?"
That was a good question. Where WAS the Pro?

Outside the classrooms, a single figure moved. He was a no-name thief who had come to the Academy because he heard that they got a monthly shipment of rare cards. It was child's play to break into the card shop and make off with all the packs. He was leaving through the front gates when he was stopped.
"Those don't belong to you, dude."
The last thing he saw was a large shadow slamming into him.

The resulting explosion had shaken the campus grounds. This had everyone rushing out to see what had happened. They ended up seeing a man on the ground, shell-shocked. Standing over him was-
"Aster?!"
The boy gave a wave, smirking haughtily.
"Sup? Now, where's that loser, Jaden?" He asked, never taking his eyes off Alexis.
Syrus scowled.
"He's not here. He's-"
"Hiding? Typical." Aster sighed.
"Not hiding! He's at the Kaiba dome! Which is where you should be!" Chazz snapped.
That threw Aster for a loop. Seeing the confusion on the teen pro's face, Maurice pulled out his PDA. Quickly scrolling through it, he played the Duel Links interview. Aster watched, his face getting paler and paler. Jaden had called him out? And was challenging him in a weeks time?! Aster tried to play it off, saying he had a week to prepare. Maurice then threw TNT on that, showing him the air date.
It was dated the third. It was now the tenth. Cold fear washed over Aster's entire frame. Chazz saw the fear and shook his head.
"You challenged Jaden and you expected him to take it laying down? Buddy, you do not know him at all."
"Damn it! I need to get back to the Mainland!" Aster swore, Syrus looking at his PDA, his eyes glued to the live stream.

"I don't understand it, folks! Aster Phoenix should have been here by now!" Jean was saying, an hour having passed.
"I gotta say, this is most unusual for Aster. He's punctual to his duels."
"Well, the Duel Board is giving him another hour to show up otherwise Jaden will win by default. Jess, what are the king's thoughts on this?"
A woman with blonde hair was next to the king on the arena floor.
"Jean, to say he is unhappy is a severe understatement. He is LIVID. Jaden, Aster has an hour to get here, do you think he'll make it?"
The king shook his head. Aster had gone to Central, thinking that the boy was there, not knowing he had come to the mainland to duel him. Which led to the King believing that he missed the interview on Duel Links. But it just further reinforced Jaden's view of the teen.
"I'll level with you, Jess. I meant it when I called Aster a Coward on Duel Links. Look at what has happened. He went to Central despite us contacting his Dueling Company to set all this up. He's wasted his company's time, my time, but more importantly, he has wasted the people who came here time and let down his fans."
Whether or not he came within the hour...Jaden had won something far more important over Aster.

Aster stared in abject horror. His reputation was in shambles if he didn't get back there soon! To think, this all happened because he hadn't watched the interview! Jaden had defied his destiny and fate. He sunk down to the ground, holding his head.
"I'm ruined...even if I get back in time, people will doubt me." He whispered.
Never before had he been soundly beaten like this. Just then, Edgar Snivels was at the boy's side.
"Mister Phoenix! We have our fastest Heli here!" The man stated in glee. "You can get to the mainland in half and hour with it!"
Aster looked at the man and nodded. He'd win back his fans! Everyone watched him rush off to the helipad and saw the black copter take off.
"Think he'll make it?" Chazz asked, watching the copter take off.
"It'll be close." Miles said, the wind blowing his hair and blazer.

The minutes ticked by, everyone in the stadium restless. Jaden simply stood, his face impassive. He had thought Aster was smart and constantly check Duel Links or the internet for fuck's sake. But no, the boy didn't do that! Well, a win was a win, no matter what. Checking his watch, he saw he had another two minutes before the Duel Board declared the duel done. He went back to his staring.
That's when they heard it.
Everyone looked up to see a copter flying overhead, the doors opening. Jaden's face did not change when he saw Aster leap out of the copter. Everyone gasped and even a few of the fangirls screamed in horror. A parachute opened up and Aster floated down onto the arena. His feet touched the ground JUST as the buzzer went off.
"WHAT AN ENTRANCE! Aster Phoenix has beaten the buzzer!" Jean shouted.
"No kidding, Jean! But The King is NOT impressed. He looks ready to rumble!"
Jaden raised his duel disk, his golden eyes glowing.
"Cutting it close, Phoenix. What, you don't know how to use a computer or cellphone?" Jaden taunted, his deck placed into his deck.
"Keep talking, you."
Jaden rolled his eyes. That was a really good comeback. Aster finished shuffling and inserted his own deck, deploying the disk.
"DUEL!" Everyone cried.
Jaden: 8000/Aster: 8000
"I'll let you start, Aster-boy. To make up for your late arrival. These poor fans of ours have been waiting all night for your humiliation." Jaden mocked.
Gritting his teeth, Aster drew his card and revealed it. Polymerization. Now Avian and Burstintrix were fused and Phoenix Enforcer appeared. Aster summoned Clayman in defense and ended. Jaden drew, revealing the card to be Dark Fusion.
"I fuse Spark and Clayman together! Heroes of Lightning and Earth, become consumed by Darkness Absolute! I fusion summon! EVIL HERO LIGHTNING GOLEM!" Jaden roared, lightning crackling all around him.
The twisted and dark version of Thunder Giant appeared. Aster's jaw dropped; sure he saw the Evil Heroes in action in video but actually seeing it? It was different. Enforcer blew up suddenly making Aster cover his face. Jaden then had his monster attack Clayman, destroying it. The King wrapped up his turn with three cards facedown.
"That all you got? I was hoping to bring out one or three new monsters tonight. If this is all you got, I'm sorely disappointed." Jaden taunted, seeing Aster's face get tight.
"Looks like the King is in top form tonight! He's taken out a problematic monster that gave Zane trouble."
"And with such ease too! Guess Jaden has established whose the REAL Hero user here!"
Aster angrily drew his card, using Monster Reborn to bring back his Enforcer and then played Pot of Greed, drawing two cards. He summoned one of them, Elemental Hero Prisma.
(Elemental HERO Prisma – LV/****, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/1700, DEF/1100, Type/Warrior/Effect.
Once per turn: You can reveal 1 Fusion Monster from your Extra Deck, then send 1 of the Fusion Materials whose name is specifically listed on that card from your Deck to the Graveyard; this card's name becomes the sent monster's until the End Phase.)
Prisma was a monster made entirely of polished gemstones and rocks. It stood at Aster's side, waiting for battle.
"Now I use his effect! I reveal my Shining Enforcer and send Sparkman to the Grave! Now Prisma gains my HERO's name! But I'm not finished dude!"
Using the second card he drew, Polymerization, in junction with his Prisma/Sparkman to make Shining Enforcer.
"Don't forget my Shining Enforcer gains three hundred points for each and every HERO in my grave! I count six! Avian, Burst, Clay, Spark, Prisma, and Enforcer! That's another eighteen hundred points!"
Shining Enforcer – ATK/2500 → 4300
"Congrats, you can do math. I use my Trap, Dark Ploy! This makes my Golem go from Light to Darkness." Jaden said.
That had everyone but CDA confused. Why change his monster's attribute and not stop the attack? Aster didn't care, he went on the attack. Jaden smirked, revealing his second facedown.
"Go, Mask Corruption!"
(Mask Corruption – Type/Spell/Quick-play.
Target 1 "HERO" monster you control; send it to the GY, also, after that, if it the field by this effect, Special Summon 1 "Wicked HERO" monster from your Extra Deck with the same Attribute that the sent monster had when it was on the field.)
"I send my Golem to the grave...welcome to the Pros, Wicked HERO Reaver!"
A black ooze shot out of the card, covering Golem. The monster roared in pain and grief, the ooze melting it down until there was only a puddle. The puddle sizzled and bubbled, a single arm shooting out of it. Shining Enforcer jumped back in shock at the action, even Aster stared.
Climbing out of the puddle was a monster dressed in traditional Samurai armor. But the armor was covered in blood and was made entirely of faces. Said faces were in various states of agony, some even screaming or wailing. The head of the monster lifted and someone in the arena screamed in horror. The face was completely smooth, but they could make out 'eyes' and a 'mouth'. It drew its sword, the blade itself carrying an ethereal fire.
(Wicked HERO Reaver – LV/********, Attribute/DARK, ATK/3000, DEF/1500, Type/Fusion/Fiend/Effect.
Must be Special Summoned by "Mask Corruption". This Card cannot be destroyed in battle. (Quick Effect): When this card is attacked, Select 1 "HERO" monster in the GY; Banish it and this card gains the Original ATK of the selected monster until the End Phase. When this card attacks, draw 1 card. When this card is sent to the GY, add 1 "HERO" card from your deck or GY to your hand.)
Aster frowned. Wicked Heroes?! Where did they come from?!
"I'm seeing yet not believing folks! Jaden has summoned one of the latest HERO cards to grace the scene! Wicked HEROes are twisted and nastier forms of the HERO archtype and they carry some nasty effects."
"No kidding Jean. Jaden was the man behind these new cards and let me tell you, the designs he came up with are sick as fuck! Reaver is a monster who feeds on souls in the GY and let me tell you, that's bad news for Aster."
Now the question was, what was the teen pro gonna do?
"I'll still continue my attack! Enforcer, show that monster what true heroes are made of!" Aster roared, disgusted at what Jaden had done.
"I use Reaver's effect! I banish from my graveyard, Lightning Golem and now Reaver gains that monster's attack points!"
From the graveyard, Golem's soul flew out and into the sword. Reaver's entire body glowed, his attack points surging.
Reaver – ATK/3000 → 5400
Aster watched the clash, grunting as the shockwave blew over him. He dimly heard Jaden say that while Shining was immortal, his life points were not.
Aster: 6900
Aster couldn't believe it! Jaden had struck first blood while he was trailing! This was not how his duel was suppose to go! He had been told his future would have him dominate this duel! He placed a card facedown and ended his turn. Jaden drew, adding the card to his hand. He switched Reaver to defense mode, ending his turn. Aster drew, looking at the cards.
"Before you attack, you should know that Reaver is immortal, much like your Shining Enforcer, Phoenix." Jaden called out, making the teen grunt.
"Alright...I play...DESTINY HERO DOOM LORD!" Aster roared, slamming the card down.
(Destiny HERO Doom Lord – LV/***, Attribute/DARK, ATK/600, DEF/800, Type/Warrior/Effect.
Once per turn: You can target 1 monster your opponent controls; banish that target. You cannot declare an attack the turn you activate this effect. You must control this face-up Attack Position card to activate and to resolve this effect. The banished monster returns to the opponent's side of the field, in the same battle position, during your 2nd Standby Phase after activation.)
That threw everyone for a loop, but none moreso then Jaden and Yubel. They watched Doom Lord arise, the monster's covered in black armor, a torn red cloak wrapped around his shoulders, his face pale white with a single purple gem in the center. Its red eyes narrowed in anger as it stood next to Aster. But that anger soon became shock and sadness at seeing the two. Yubel stood next to Jaden, her hands covering her mouth.
"Doomie?!" The fiendish queen whispered.
"Mother...Father...I'm so sorry." Doom Lord whispered.
The new monster had everyone abuzz in shock. What was this new monster?! Even the announcers were at a loss when one of their phones went off. Answering the call, they talked for a few before nodding.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, we have on our line, Mister Pegasus J. Crawford himself, the man behind the monsters! Mister Pegasus, you are live!"
"Thank you Jean-boy. Allow me to explain to the audience the new monster Aster Boy has summoned. Those are Destiny Heroes, created by the late Roswell Phoenix, Aster's father. The Destiny Heroes were never put into production, mostly because the poor man was killed before they could be unveiled. As such, I gave Aster the cards to atone for the tragedy. I know what its like to lose a loved one, Jean-boy. This way, Aster is closer to his father."
Everyone around the world felt touched by the man's words, Jaden just frowning. During the entire time, Doom Lord told the two everything. He was not liking what he was seeing. The deck was infused with the Light of Destruction and they had just allowed it to take over.
"I use my Doom Lord's effect to send your Reaver two turns into the future!" Aster roared.
Several chains soared at the monster, Doom Lord looking pained. They wrapped around Reaver and suddenly, he was gone. Aster ended his turn with two facedowns, stating that since he used Doom's effect, he couldn't attack. Jaden drew, revealing Pot of Greed. Drawing his two, he felt a spark suddenly and smirked.
"Well, Aster, looks like tonight, you get to meet my latest monsters...I set one card facedown and follow that up with three facedown traps!"
That made everyone start to think the King had lost it. He had just announced what he was doing. Aster made this known, laughing at the novice mistake. All Jaden did was smirk.
"I offer my three traps as sacrifices." Jaden declared, making the entire arena go silent.
On the other end of the phone line, Pegasus watched it all on his TV and smiled. So, Jaden had them after all.
"Well, Aster Boy...you bit off more then you could chew with this duel." Pegasus whispered to himself.
Back at the Arena, the three traps had melted into a pool of lava. Jaden held one card aloft and summoned it.
"Arise from the primal fires that helped shape our world! Uria, Lord of Searing Flames!"
(Uria, Lord of Searing Flames – LV/**********, Attribute/DIVINE, ATK/0, DEF/0, Type/Divine-Beast/Effect.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by its own effect or by sending 3 Trap Cards you control to the Graveyard. This card gains 1000 ATK and DEF for each Trap Card in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can select 1 face-down Spell or Trap Card your opponent controls, and destroy it. Spell and Trap Cards cannot be activated in response to this effect's activation. If this card is destroyed, during your next Main Phase, you can discard 1 Trap Card to Special Summon this card from your Graveyard. During the turn you Special Summoned this card by its effect, you cannot activate its other effects, and if you control another monster, this card cannot declare an attack.)
The pool of lava became a geyser as Uria soared out. Unfurling its wings, it let loose a titanic roar, making everyone gasp or cheer in delight.
"Great Scott! Look at that beast! It looks like Slifer the Sky Dragon!"
"That it does Jean! Could this be one of the new monsters Jaden was all set to reveal tonight?! Just what are they?!"
"Jean, Trey, that is a Sacred Beast card. They were discovered in a unknown tomb back in Egypt and I had created them alongside the God monsters. Unfortunately, they had spirits of their own and only obey one person. Uria is quite a fearsome foe for Aster. Much like Slifer it gains attack and defense points in increments of a thousand times the number of traps in the grave."
That threw everyone who listened. Traps in the grave? Jaden had used Dark Ploy earlier and just now sent three to the graveyard! That meant it had four thousand points!
Uria – ATK/DEF → 4000
"I use Uria's effect to destroy one of your facedowns. The card on the left!"
"Nice try, but I chain your monster's effect with-" Aster began only to stare as his trap was destroyed. "W-what?!"
Explaining that Uria's effect couldn't be chained or negated, Jaden went on the attack, targeting Doom Lord. Said monster was lowering his head resigned to his fate. Aster jumped in, revealing his other trap, D-Shield.
(D-Shield – Type/Normal/Trap.
When an Attack Position "Destiny HERO" monster you control is targeted for an attack: Target it; change it to Defense Position and equip it with this card. The equipped monster cannot be destroyed by battle.)
Doom Lord switched to defense mode, the fires crashing into the monster but he held strong. Jaden shrugged, ending his turn. All of Aster's fans breathed a sigh of relief. He had survived. Aster drew, frowning. He had one more turn before Reaver returned...but did he dare switch his Doom Lord back to attack mode? He couldn't attack Jaden directly if he used the effect and right now, his Shining Enforcer was the stronger monster. He had to take a gamble here and now!
"Shining Enforcer! Attack his Uria! Shining Enforcement!"
The monster roared, charging at the large beast. Uria snarled, looking at Jaden.
"Bring me back next round, boss!" The serpent hissed, taking the hit.
Jaden: 7700
Jaden placed Uria in his grave, his face impassive. Everyone cheered at Aster beating the beast that rivaled a god, calling him the new King. All Jaden did was smirk. Boy were they in for a surprise on his next turn. Aster followed up his attack by playing another monster.
"Meet Destiny Hero Diamond Dude!"
(Destiny HERO Diamond Dude – LV/****, Attribute/DARK, ATK/1400, DEF/1600, Type/Warrior/Effect.
Once per turn: You can excavate the top card of your Deck, and if it is a Normal Spell, send it to the GY, otherwise place it on the bottom of your Deck. During the Main Phase of your next turn, you can activate the effect of that Spell in your GY (even if you no longer control this face-up card). )
A man appeared, wearing tatted clothes and a tattered cape. From his left side, large chunks of diamonds grew out of his body. Going up his body was more of the diamonds even his eyes were covered by them. Locking gazes with the two, the man began to weep. Jaden scowled, but did not scold him. Aster smirked.
"I now use my Diamond Dude's effect. I take a look at the top card of my deck and if its a normal spell, I send it to the grave." Aster said, pulling the card.
Looking at it, he revealed it to be a duel disk with a card being discarded into it.
"Look at that, it is a normal spell. I send it to my grave for later."
Aster ended his turn, Jaden drawing.
"I send a trap from my hand to the grave...return to me, Uria!"
Once more, the serpent rose up, roaring. That made Aster gasp. It could be brought back to life!? What's worse is that now it was stronger then his Shining Enforcer!
Uria – ATK/DEF 4000 → 5000
"Luckily for you, I cannot use his effect this turn. But I can still attack! Go! Hyper Blaze!"
The massive beast targeted Enforcer, the ball of fire slamming into the monster. The fire was held back, but tongues of it still licked at Aster's life points.
Aster: 6200
"I'd make you squirm even more, but I'll end all the same." Jaden said.
Aster drew, groaning. He was right back where he was and facing down a more powerful beast to boot! Reaver returned to the field, its blades ready. That got Aster thinking. Doom Lord could remove Uria from play...sure, he'd lose his ability to attack, but he'd have Enforcer take out Reaver...no wait, it was immortal! Diamond Dude wasn't powerful enough to deal with either monster. He'd need another play. Using Destiny Draw, the card he sent to the grave, he drew another two cards. Looking at his hand, he chose a card.
"I play Fissure! This destroys one monster of yours that has the lower attack! Guess who the target is!"
The earth broke open, several hands reaching up and grabbing the Wicked HERO. It was dragged into the earth and destroyed. Jaden announced that since Reaver was destroyed, he could add either one HERO monster, spell, or trap in his deck or GY to his hand. A single card slid out, but all Aster did was scoff.
"I switch Doom Lord back to attack mode and use his effect!"
"Stop right there! I reveal my facedown trap, Imperial Iron Wall!"
Aster cursed! That trap prevented him and Jaden from removing cards from play! He had moved his Doom Lord to attack mode for nothing! He set two cards facedown and ended. Jaden drew, looking at the card.
"I play Graceful Charity, drawing three cards then I throw out two." Jaden explained, drawing three.
He tossed out two, Uria's aura glowing brighter.
Uria – ATK/DEF – 5000 → 7000
"I'll set three facedown spells."
"Looks like Jaden is slipping again! He just announced what cards he had played!"
"Jean, the last time he did that, we got a Sacred Beast card! Could there more then one?!"
The answer came when the three cards became a massive crystal. The Crystal shattered and a massive beast roared. Jaden smirked.
"Meet Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder, Aster!"
(Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder – LV/**********, Attribute/DIVINE, ATK/4000, DEF/4000, Type/Divine-Beast/Effect.
This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by sending 3 Spell Cards you control to the Graveyard. When this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle and sends it to the Graveyard, inflict 1000 damage to your opponent. While you control this face-up Defense Position card, other monsters you control cannot be selected as attack targets. If this Defense Position card is destroyed, you take no damage for the rest of this turn.)
Aster bit back a curse. Two beast monsters. Not good! Jaden was smirking, directing Uria to attack Enforcer. Eyes widening, Aster hastily activated his facedown.
"Negate Attack!"
The attack was stopped, but Jaden did not look deterred. In fact, he looked delighted. He played Card of Sanctity, the two replenishing their hand. He ended his turn with three facedowns and a spell card, Continuous Destruction Punch. Aster was confused as to why the king played such a card, but ignored it. Aster drew, looking at the card. Realizing he had something now, he smirked. Selecting another card, he played it.
"Check it! I play O-Oversoul! I return my Sparkman to the field! Next up, I play spark blaster and chain it with Guard Play! I pick your Hamon! Now with Spark Blaster's effect, I switch him to Defense mode!"
Hamon kneeled down, scowling. Aster drew a card, the asked if he had gone too fast for the King. He'd do it again.
"Up! Up I say beast!" Aster said, making Hamon rise again. "Down! Down I say!"
Everyone began to laugh at the sight, but Jaden did not looked angered at all. Instead, he was cool and collected. Aster was unnerved, but still drew. Now he had what he needed.
"I summon Elemental Hero Bubbleman but he's not sticking around! I tribute him, Sparkman and my Doom Lord! Meet one of my powerful Destiny Heroes, Jaden! Meet Destiny HERO Dogma!"
(Destiny HERO Dogma – LV/********, Attribute/DARK, ATK/3400, DEF/2400, Type/Warrior/Effect.
Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 3 monsters, including at least 1 "Destiny HERO" monster. Once per turn, if you still control this face-up card during your opponent's next Standby Phase after you Special Summoned it this way: Halve your opponent's LP.)
The three vanished and a new monster came. He was dressed in armor, had long bat wings and a blade on his left arm. His eyes glowed red, snarling. That snarl became a look of shock, seeing Jaden. The man held his head in shame.
"Father, forgive me..."
Jaden didn't answer, just nodding. Aster smirked, now that there were more heroes in the grave, he could take out the stronger one of the monsters.
"I activate Emergency Provisions, sending Imperial Iron Wall to my grave." Jaden suddenly announced making everyone gasp.
The card revealed itself and the trap vanished, boosting Jaden's LP and Uria's power.

"Doesn't matter! I have my Enforcer attack! And I'll use a Quick Play spell of mine! Different Dimension Exile!"

"Thanks to this little spell, five of your traps are no more! Know what that means? Uria is weaker then my Enforcer!" Aster declared, watching as Five traps left Jaden's grave.

Shining Enforcer charged at Uria, but Jaden just smirked.
"I activate my two facedowns, Completely Disappear and De-Materialize!"

"Still doesn't stop my attack, dude! You just lowered the damage!" Aster roared, Enforcer charging at Uria.
There was an explosion making everyone cheer. Aster smirked, only when the dust settled, he and everyone were shocked. Shining Enforcer was just inches from Uria! Around him was a lightning field.
"W-what gives?!" Aster demanded.
Jaden laughed. He pointed at Hamon, explaining that it was the Beast's effect. As long as it was in defense mode, it was the only monster Aster could attack! Everyone shouted in shock as the attack was re-directed and bounced off the beast, returning to Aster.
Aster: 5800
"I knew you couldn't resist trying to make a fool out of me, Aster! But I turned it around on you and now...your Shining Enforcer shines no more! Or have you forgotten my Continuous Destruction Punch Spell?!"
Aster gasped, watching as several boxing gloves emerged from the spell and battered against his Enforcer. The monster roared out in agony before being completely destroyed. Everyone in the stands stared in shock, before someone started to cheer. That soon brought the entire arena to a roar.
"UN-BELIEV-ABLE! Jaden completely used Aster's arrogance against him! The King set it all up perfectly, even taking in the laughter of the crowd!"
"No one's laughing now at how the King just played Aster, Jean! They are reminded why he is the Supreme King of the Ring!"
Aster stood there, shocked. This...this wasn't suppose to be happening. Fate had decreed him the winner. The Future had been seen! He'd win! Yet tonight...NOTHING had gone to Fate's plan! He had nearly been disqualified, he lost his fanbase...he was getting his ass handed to him and what's worse?! Jaden was outsmarting him! The boy ended his turn, Jaden drawing before a black aura appeared around both him and Dogma.

"That's Dogma's effect. When I summon it and it remains on the field, I can cut your Life Points down to half." Aster said, monotone.
"Fat good it did you. I play this Field Spell card face-down, then I play Phantasmal Martyrs! I send my entire hand to the grave to gain three Martyr Tokens." Jaden said, sending his hand, revealing Evil Hero Infernal Gainer, Evil Hero Malicious Edge, and two traps.
Uria – ATK/DEF – 3000 → 5000
He revealed his spell card to be Forbidden Paradise. The field around them became a massive field with a single tree, roots spread out all around them with eyes watching them. Jaden explained the effect of his field spell. As long as he had Hamon or Uria in play, he could draw two cards. He activated the effect, drawing his first one. Seeing it was what he needed, he drew a second time and smirked.
"Aster, I would say that you dueled well..."
Everyone looked on, knowing what the king was going to say next.
"But that'd make me a liar. You dueled like a child, sloppy and inattentive to your opponent's moves. I offer my three tokens as tributes...meet the FINAL of my Sacred Beasts! Arise...RAVIEL, LORD OF PHANTASMS!"
A shaft of blue light appeared behind Jade as the three tokens vanished. A large shadow emerged from the light, snarling and unfurling its wings. Everyone at the academy cheered. Jaden summoned all three beasts! But the King wasn't done. He revealed Dark Calling, removing Dark Fusion from his grave and banishing Evil Hero Gainer and Elemental Hero Malicious Edge.
"I fusion summon...EVIL HERO MALICIOUS BANE!"

A man that had the leather bindings of Edge but covered in black chitin armor flew down next to Jaden. He was tall, taller then even Malicious Edge, but came short of the Beasts. He had a pair of wings that looked more like large blades, flapped while a torn cloak fluttered with each flap. A mask made to look like Raviel's adorned the man's face, six red eyes blinking and an arrogant smirk on his face.
Striking a pose, they revealed the knives of Edge were part of it as well. Jaden chuckled.
"I told you I was the better HERO user...and Bane will prove that for me. Hamon! ATTACK! Cerulean Skyfire!"
Hamon roared, jets of blue fire escaping its mouth and crashing into Dogma. The monster roared in defeat and pain, Aster joining the monster.
Aster: 5200
A bolt of lightning came down through the opened arena, striking Aster. Jaden explained that when Hamon destroys a monster, he inflicts a thousand points of damage.
Aster: 4200
"Uria! Hyper Blaze on Diamond Dude!"
The large red beast roared, collecting an orb of fire in its mouth. With a blast, Diamond Dude was blown away. Aster barely registered the attack, staring off in a daze.
"Raviel, Shimmering Scrape!"
The claws of the monster glowed bright blue and slashed, carving three deep gouges into the earth and across Aster. The teen boy went flying, landing hard on his back. Spittle and a bit of blood sprayed out, the blood from him biting his cheek.
Aster: 200
"This is the end. Evil HERO Malicious Bane...attack him directly."
The monster nodded, charging at Aster, its claws gleaming. Aster managed to get to his feet, only to meet the face of the oncoming train. One slash was all it took and Aster was sent off the stage.
Aster: 0
Silence.
Deathly silence reigned in the Kaiba Dome.
Aster Phoenix, a rising phenom in the Pro Circuit, was laid low by his senior. He had called out the King, calling him a copycat. But tonight...tonight proved the boy wrong. Finally, it was broken by a cheer from an enthusiastic King of the Ring fan. That started a domino effect. Everyone was now cheering Jaden's name.
"Well folks, there you have it! Jaden Yuki, called out by Aster Phoenix as a copycat, has just bested him and proven to the world that he is the one and only true HERO user out there."
"That's right Jean, Aster Phoenix bit off more then he could chew tonight and got his just desserts. I'm Trey Strongman!"
"And I'm Jean Graves! Goodnight everybody!"

Sartorius stared at the TV in absolute shock and horror. He had them. The King had awoken his power and gained them! The Sacred Beasts were in the hands of the Supreme King of Gentle Darkness! The man began to rant and rave, roaring with unholy rage! This was NOT Fate's grand plan! This was NOT his destiny!
"Aster was to win, not lose!" Sartorius ranted, scattering his Tarots.
How?! How had fate been so derailed?! What caused the King to awaken so early?!
After his episode, Sartorius sighed, smoothing back his hair.
"No...fate has not been defeated yet. Jaden Yuki...you will see the light!"

After the match, Jaden was called by Pegasus. Something had been discovered in the ocean and Pegasus was excited to show him what it was. Arranging a meeting, Jaden looked out his window, a single star falling. For a brief moment, Jaden thought the star was a bright blue. It reminded him of something...some sort of omen...but what?
And done! I really hope the duel was to your liking everyone! Yeah, Dreadmaster didn't make an appearance but don't worry...he'll show. Now, some of you are gonna be asking about the Destiny Heroes. Well, its tied to Jaden's past life as Haou Judai. Without giving out all the messy details, Yubel gave birth to them all when she married Haou Judai. Given that Duel Monsters are hardier then humans, they can often give larger birth rates then humans. Now, the Heroes won't be with Jaden. No, they are with Aster like Yubel and the Evil Heroes are with Jaden.
