Hey all! As the last chapter was VERY short, I figured I'd give you another update. Enjoy!
The entire school had been abuzz with Aster's defeat and now the weirdness surrounding three of the freshmen. But for Edgar Snivels, this was all just background noise. He was currently looking at several files, trying to make more stars and pros out of the meager duelists. He finally found one and read over it. As he read, his smirk got wider and wider.
"Well, well! We have a winner!" Edgar crowed, placing the file down.
On it was a picture of a brown haired teenage boy wearing an Obelisk Blue uniform.
"Atticus Rhodes, your dreams are about to come true...and with them, my own!"
EODGX
Alexis sat in the Slifer commons, reading her books. Jasmine and Mindy were nearby, doing the same. The redhead looked around, her eyes shifty. Mindy saw and started to do the same. Seeing that they were alone, the two joined their blonde friend.
"Lex, you said if Jay won, we'd do something for him right?" Mindy asked, keeping her voice low.
Alexis looked up, setting her book aside. Nodding, Jasmine grinned. She pulled out the outfits Edgar had given them and Alexis's eyes went wide. Mindy nodded. The two wanted to dress up as the bunnies while Alexis wore the dress and put on a bit of a strip tease for the king. They'd only go down to their bra and panties. Jasmine smirked.
"Miss Fontaine will get in the act too. She's thinking of wearing that outfit from 'Revenge of the Jedah' from that Alien Girl."
Alexis's eyes bugged out. She knew of the girl and the skimpy outfit she had to wear. A dress made of nothing but nets and a thong while she was completely topless. It was one of the more hardcore movies of the Star Wreck series and one of the most infamous. The two teens nodded, Alexis blushing but smiling.
"Alright, that's a good plan you two. Now all we need to do is wait for Jay to get back."
Jasmine and Mindy nodded, putting the outfits away. Jasmine asked how it was sucking off their man and Alexis blushed even harder, but still had a goofy grin on her face. The two squealed in delight, demanding details.
But before Alexis could give anything, there was a voice singing...VERY off-key. The three girls froze before Alexis groaned. Rushing outside, they saw a boat coming to the small little inlet by the dorm. In it was a boy wearing a Hawaiian shirt while strumming a ukulele. By now, the rest of the dorm and study group had gathered. Salome was covering her ears.
"What is that?!" she called out, glaring.
Alexis groaned, hiding her face.
"That is my older brother..."
"Hey, hey, sissy!" Atticus called out, strumming a guitar with a micro amplifier on his head.
"Hey now, who you calling a sissy, civvie!" Hassleberry shouted, making Alexis groan again.
"Me. He's family."
Hassleberry had the decency to look sheepish at that. After Atticus came ashore and met up with them, Alexis cut right to the chase. Why was the teen boy here on this side of the island? Here, the boy grinned.
"Oh its sweet, sis! We finally got our big break! Edgar Snivels came through!" Atticus said, smiling widely.
That everyone go on edge. Edgar was at it again? They saw the boat Atticus rode in on come up, said man dressed in a scuba suit and snorkeling mask. He gave a cheery wave.
"Hello everyone! My dear miss Rhodes, have you finally come to your senses?"
"My senses?! This coming from the guy who has a wet suit and boat on his back!"
The straps of the boat finally snapped and Edgar nearly fell, the boat splashing into the ocean. Atticus sighed, wondering why his sister was being so difficult. Maurice asked what the idea was to begin with. Here, Alexis blushed and told them.
Edgar had wanted her and Atticus to be a pop singing duo and wear a red dress. Here, Chazz gained a blush of his own, recalling that dress. The rest of the boys did the same, now remembering. Mindy spoke up, saying that the dress wouldn't leave much to the imagination of males everywhere. Here, Bastion chuckled.
"Indeed...everyone knows she can't carry much of a tune."
Every guy winced at what the genius had said. Alexis gained a tick mark and slapped Bastion silly. Said boy fell to the ground, a bright red handprint on his face.
"Son, you gotta know when to open your mouth and when not to." Hassleberry said, shaking his head.
Bastion muttered to himself, standing up. Atticus then snapped his fingers.
"I got it! Meet Lexicious, your pop alter ego!"
"Seriously?! That is the stage name you picked for her?" Jasmine cried out, seeing the teen pull out a cutout of Alexis wearing the dress.
"Okay, she can just go cas..." Atticus said, pulling out another and showing her wearing overalls in various colors.
Here, Bonnie's eyes twitched.
"That outfit is an affront to nature." She said, shaking her head.
The teen boy sighed, crossing his arms. If Jaden was here, he'd convince her, he'd be sure of it. Alexis scowled.
Jaden wouldn't do a thing to convince her. He'd leave it all up to her and her alone! Unlike others, he valued her independence, respected her dreams and desires! That was why he was such a perfect fit for her! Atticus backed up, now afraid.
His sister was right. Jaden, if he was here and not back on the mainland taking care of pro business, would back her up one hundred percent, no matter what she chose. Sighing, the pop idol to be made a choice.
"We'll settle this the old fashioned way, Lexi. With a duel!"
"Alright, you win, I'll sing...but if you lose, you drop this entire thing!" Alexis said, holding up her deck.
Atticus nodded, Edgar smirking.
It was all going to plan.
EODGX
Three hours later, the main campus arena was packed. Amelia, Jerome, and Ian were all still going on about 'The Light', much to the annoyance of those sitting by them. The Central Top and GX crew were all sitting together, cheering on Alexis. Said girl was standing ready with her disk on in the doorway leading to the center. Feeling a little mischievous, Mindy called out to the girl.
"Hey Lex! Win this duel or else I'll show your boyfriend a photo of you in a compromising position!"
Alexis froze, knowing exactly what photo the girl was talking about. She glared at Mindy who just smirked right back. The lights suddenly dimmed and Edgar began to speak.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, today's duel will show that our academy not just produces duelists, but talented performers as well! So, give a warm welcome to...Atticus Rhodes!"
Above, Atticus was lowered on some wires. He then 'flew' around the stands, blowing a kiss to several women all wearing shirts and waving banners with his face on them. Alexis groaned; leave it to her brother to make a entrance and a fool of himself. But he wasn't the only one who could make an entrance.
"I dedicate this duel to all the ladies in the house! Who loves you girls!?" The boy said, acting suave.
Many of the girls fainted or had hearts in their eyes. Jasmine, Salome, Bonnie, Fiona and Mindy groaned, shaking their heads. Even Fonda was a tad embarrassed by how her charges were acting. The females were all cheering 'Atticus', making Alexis eye twitch.
"And now for his opponent and sister...Alexis Rhodes!"
The doors hissed as fog came out. Edgar had planned for her to ride out on a goose cart, but what ended up happening would be talked about for years. Several shadows shot out of the fog, rushing all around the arena. Everyone gasped as they saw it was Alexis's Cyber angels and Archangels! Each monster took up a position in a line of two, bowing.
Alexis herself was like her Cyber Princess Asuka, dressed in a long flowing silver dress, a saber at her side. Atticus was left dumbstruck as his sister walked past the monsters. When she was finally at the arena, the monsters all turned back into spirits, rushing into the deck. The dress itself vanished, leaving Alexis in her school uniform.
"THAT is how you make an entrance." Alexis said, smirking.
Atticus chuckled. He was impressed. Before they would know it, they'd have a platinum album, be in every teen magazine, have their own clothing line, everything! Alexis huffed, reminding him that he had to WIN first! But Atticus continued on, not hearing her.
"I already got a band name! We'll be bro-bro and sissy!"
Alexis cringed, slotting her deck, her brother doing the same. Atticus started, playing Panther Warrior and the revealing a spell card called Spotlight.
(Spotlight – Type/Spell/Continuous.
Select 1 face-up monster you control. It gains 300 ATK. If the selected monster is removed from the field, you must select 1 other face-up monster you control.)
"Thanks to this spell, my warrior gains three hundred extra points!"
Panther Warrior – ATK/2000 → 2300
"I'll toss this facedown and end. Your move, Sissy!"
"I am so gonna kill you, Atticus!" Alexis snarled, drawing. Seeing the card, she smirked.
"I play Machine Angel Ritual, sending my Cyber Prima and Cyber Petite Angel to my grave. Meet Cyber Angel Ares!"
(Cyber Angel Ares – LV/********, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/2900, DEF/2000, Type/Ritual/Warrior/Effect.
You can Ritual Summon this card with "Machine Angel Ritual" OR "Cyber Heaven Ritual". When this card is summoned; Add 1 "Cyber Angel" Ritual monster from your deck to your hand. Once Per turn, if a Ritual monster attacks, increase the ATK by 1500 until the End Phase. During your End Phase, if this card attacked, You can add 1 "Machine Angel Ritual" OR "Cyber Heaven Ritual" from your GY to your hand. During your Standby Phase, send 1 random card in your hand to the GY.)
Ares was a male monster with six wings, wore a Roman centurion armor, and carried four weapons in four arms; a spear, an axe, a scimitar and finally, a broadsword. Atticus grimaced, seeing the monster. Alexis added a card from her deck to her hand.
"Now that Ares is out, you're in a world of hurt, bro! Ares, Attack!"
The monster roared, charging at the Panther. Atticus smirked, stating he'd only take six hundred points and revealed his facedown.
"Go Cursed Ring!"

Activate only when your opponent declares an attack. Equip this card to the attacking monster. It cannot destroy a monster by battle (damage calculation is applied normally).)
A single ring with a skull on it appeared on Ares finger, stopping him cold. Alexis scowled, demanding to know what had happened. Atticus smirked, explaining.
Thanks to his ring, her monster was unable to fully destroy his. Alexis smirked then. His monsters were safe, but his life points?
Another matter entirely.
"Then would now be a bad time to say that due to Ares' effect, he gains fifteen hundred additional points when he attacks?"
"Wait, what?!" Atticus gasped out.
Ares threw his axe casually behind him as he walked back to Alexis's side, the golden blade sailing through the air, catching Atticus in the shoulder.

Atticus: 5900
Watching her brother go skidding drew a lot of his fans to boo her. A tick formed, scowling at them. Atticus got up, reassuring them. Alexis took her spell card from her grave, explaining it was Ares effect. Since he had attacked, she gained back her Machine Angel Ritual spell. Ares' power returned to normal, glaring at the brother. Atticus drew, frowning.
He had expected one of her other Cyber angels, but he'd make this work. Thankfully, that power boost only came when Ares or any other ritual monster attacked, not be the target of an attack. He frowned when he checked over his cards. He had nothing to destroy Ares, but Lexi's life points were another matter. He played Stray Lambs, gaining two Lamb tokens. Then he revealed Path of Destiny.
(Path of Destiny – Type/Spell/Equip.
Equip only to a Beast-Warrior-Type Monster. It can attack your opponent directly.)
"Now I sacrifice my Lamb to have my Panther claw out your life points!"
The monster roared as the lamb token shattered and charged past Ares to strike Alexis. Said girl hissed, taking the damage.
Alexis: 5700
"I'll set a facedown and end my turn, Sis."
"Gotta say, for being a completely out there brother, he's got some moves." Miles said, Hassleberry agreeing with him.
"Indeed...with Zane and Jaden gone, Atticus is the most powerful student on the campus." Bastion pointed out, making Syrus groan.
His older brother, replaced by a pop idol wanna be?! What kind of a cruel joke was that?!
Alexis ignored the banter behind her, drawing her card. Due to Ares' effect, she discarded one card. Now looking at the card she drew, she revealed it to be Pot of Greed. Drawing two cards, she revealed one to be Arch Ascension.
"This transforms my Cyber Angel Ares into Cyber Arch-Angel Jeremiel!"
(Cyber Arch-Angel Jeremiel – LV/*********, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/3000, DEF/3000, Type/Warrior/Ritual/Effect.
This card cannot be Summoned except by "Cyber Arch Ritual" OR "Arch-Ascension." When this card is summoned, add 1 Spell or Trap card from your GY to your hand. Once per turn, you can send 1 Spell or Trap to the graveyard; destroy 1 level 4 or higher monster on the field. When this card is destroyed and sent to the GY, Special Summon 1 "Cyber Angel" monster, ignoring the summoning conditions.)
Arch-Angel Jeremiel was a four winged man wearing armor of sky blue. In his right hand was a large flaming sword and in the right was a book. Alexis explained that since Jeremiel was summoned, she could add a spell or trap from her grave back to her hand. She revealed it to be Pot of Greed, drawing another two cards.
"Now, I use Jeremiel's other effect! By sending 1 spell or trap of mine to the grave, I can destroy one level four or higher monster in play and you know who I chose?"
"Uh oh..." Atticus gasped.
Alexis nodded, choosing Panther Warrior. The monster blew up, Atticus yelping. Because it wasn't by battle, his facedown was useless! Alexis pounced on the remaining token the teen boy had, Jeremiel slashing through it with ease. Atticus frowned, his initial plan being torn to shreds thanks to Jeremiel's effect. Still, he could adjust. Alexis ended her turn, Atticus drawing. He revealed his card to be his own Pot of Greed, drawing two cards.
Selecting one, he revealed it to his sister and crowd.
"I summon Bronze Warrior in attack mode!"
(Bronze Warrior – LV/****, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/500 → 800 (Spotlight), DEF/1800, Type/Warrior/Effect.
Once per turn, you can add 1 Beast-Warrior-Type monster from your Deck to your hand. While this face-up card is in Attack Position, all Beast-Warrior-Type monsters gain 400 ATK.)
A small man in a cloak and carrying daggers appeared, roaring. Atticus moved a card from his deck to his hand, then revealed the second card in his hand.
"Double summon allows me to summon again this turn, so I play Indomitable Fighter Lei-Lei!"
(Indomitable Fighter Lei-Lei – LV/****, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/2300 → 2700 (Warrior's effect), DEF/0, Type/Beast-Warrior/Effect.
If this card attacks, it is changed to Defense Position at the end of the Battle Phase. This card's battle position cannot be changed until the end of your next turn, except with a card effect.)
"Not done yet! Now you fans of mine all ready for field spell?!"
The crowd roared slightly, making him repeat the question louder. This time, the crowd roared as the entire area around Atticus and Alexis changed.
"Meet my Ultimate Stage Costume Field!" Atticus said, posing dramatically.

"Now, I know your monster is stronger then my Lei-Lei, but~ I have a way around that!"
"Oh really? And what is that? Cuz from where I'm standing, you can't attack me. You're Lei-Lei is too weak and your costume only works until the damage step."
Atticus groaned, seeing that his bluff failed. He ended his turn, Alexis drawing. She went on the attack, taking out Lei-Lei and dishing out some damage.
Atticus: 5600
"Not done yet! I play the card I just drew, Mischief of the Time Goddess!"
"But why play that?!" Atticus gasped out.
"Simple. The first card I drew from Pot of Greed was Arch Ascension! The second card I drew was...Mystical Space Typhoon!"
The swirling vortex spun around the costumed Monster, making him spin around for several seconds like a dancer. Once he stopped, he gave a slight grin before landing hard on his ass. Alexis did not let up, her monster striking Bronze.
Atticus: 4400
"I'll end my turn at that."
Atticus drew, placing a monster facedown ending his turn. With his costume destroyed, he was not going to last long at all. Alexis drew, revealing a Fulfillment of Contract spell. By paying eight hundred of her life points, she could resurrect a ritual monster that she had summoned. Atticus's eyes bugged out.
"Oh no! Ares!"
Alexis: 4900
The monster returned and Alexis smirked. She ordered an attack with Ares, the facedown monster revealing itself to be Pitch-Black Warwolf. Atticus panicked then. He only had forty-four hundred points! And with Ares effect now in play!
Jermiel – ATK/3000 → 4500
"You lose, Bro. Jeremiel, Attack with Divine Swipe!"
The monster roared, charging forward, runes appearing on the blade as the book glowed brightly. Atticus yelled in pain as he was slashed.
Atticus: 0
"But...but...but we could have taken over the whole world with our hit singles!" Atticus cried.
"My record deals!" Edgar moaned while everyone cheered for Alexis.
EODGX
After Atticus got himself back together, he said he was proud of his sis. Alexis smiled, thanking him.
"You know, Jaden should teach your brother. Its obvious his deck needs a lot of fine tuning." Mindy pointed out laughing.
"Oh that? I...kinda made that deck with the music theme in mind. I'll probably scrap it to make a new one." Atticus said, sheepishly rubbing his head. "Speaking of Jaden...how come he's not back yet?"
"That's easy." A new voice said, making everyone look to see Midori. "Jaden is currently working with Industrial Illusions. They discovered a tablet in the ocean."
That got everyone's attention. A stone tablet meant one thing. A monster connected to his past life. Given that Jaden was the Supreme King reincarnated, no wonder Pegasus needed his help. Alexis filled Atticus in on what Edgar was trying to do and the boy suddenly looked pissed.
"I can't BELIEVE I actually listened to that toad! He played on my hopes and dreams like chords! Sis, I'm very glad you won that duel otherwise we'd be down a dorm! I'll help out in any way I can."
Alexis smiled, thanking her brother. They needed all the help they could get.
