Chapter 18 : Arrival

[Earth 49.890 BC]

02:29 A.M.

In space near Earth, a green light was seen falling at high speed onto the planet. It was soon determined that the source of this light was the Green Lantern of the Earth Sector, which looked like a crab. It's head was huge and it's body thin, and it bore the symbol of the Lanterns.

It was Siskir, one of the five Lanterns in Sector 2814, and currently the only one present, because the others had died. During the last reconnaissance mission, they discovered the Celestial, which at the time was launching beams of cosmic energy. Siskir was the only survivor.

He went to Earth because that's where the Celestial seemed to be heading. He intended to evacuate the planet, or at least warn the inhabitants, because there was a fairly advanced civilization there. But upon arriving on Earth, to his surprise, someone was already waiting for him there.

"Hello Green Lantern. My name is Agamotto and I need you to come with me because the Celestial is coming soon and we will need any help we can get." The Archmage said, and Siskir obeyed.

They went to Bashenga. He realized that this was the landing site of the Celestial. The other members of the council were working on what looked like a large machine, the Immortal was transporting some materials with Odin, and Jean was organizing everything with her telekinesis.

Bashenga worked on his claws using a mysterious metal that fell on his lands, which he discovered thanks to his goddess Bastet, who made him her Avatar and endowed him with some abilities.

All this was watched by the Ghost Rider, taking care of his friend and helper, whom he simply calls Mammoth. They have bonded with each other for many years and have fought many battles against prehistoric demons and monsters.

Siskir looked impressed, because few planets have such diverse combat forces: a royal Asgardian, two avatars, a demon and a mage, he was only embarrassed by the Immortal, since his ring said that he could not scan it.

"Indeed, the group is diverse, but is it enough?" Siskir thought worriedly.

"Don't worry my friend, we all know how risky it is to face the Celestial, but that doesn't stop us from trying," Jean said, sensing the alien's unease.

"Like the Lady Phoenix said, there's nothing to be afraid of, this supposed 'God' of the cosmos will taste my hammer!!!" Odin said confidently.

"Of course, if you hit him. Because the great Odin does not seem to know or control his own weapon, it will surely be very useful," Jean said, amused and taunting the prince of Asgard.

"What? Listen here, I can definitely control my weapons!!! And even if I couldn't, I would be more useful than a spoiled little princess like you!!!" Odin replied angrily.

Jean looked into his eyes as flames flared up around him.

"Maybe this spoiled 'little princess' should remind the would-be Allfather how he got beat up the last time they ran into each other!?" she said with an evil smile on her beautiful face.

Odin chuckled and started swinging his golden beam hammer, Jean summoned fiery wings similar to those of a Phoenix, and as usual, the rest of the members simply ignored it.

Now Siskir wondered if this planet was doomed.

"Even though they act like this, you can trust that they will be very serious in the upcoming battle. After all, despite their differences, they both love this planet." said Agamotto, comforting his new ally.

Siskir breathed a sigh of relief and soon began asking what the plan was and how he could help. Agamotto quickly explained their plan to him and how he could help. Siskir soon began to speed up the plan, which he thought was insane, but could work.

02:40 A.M.

Somewhere far away from sector 2814, at the most remote point in the universe, there was a dispute that, depending on the course, could save or destroy the planet Earth.

And in this circle was none other than the leader of the Celestials - One Above All in his golden-blue armor of gigantic size, accompanied by two of the strongest Celestials - Arishem The Judge in red armor and Eson The Searcher in purple-green armor and with his legendary staff.

And in front of these gigantic creatures stood a single person with a height of 1:90m. But this man was sitting, and in front of him was a table with food and drinks. He is oblivious to what is in space or in the presence of giant beings.

The leader of the Celestials asked Azmuth a question:

{Why did you call this meeting?} asked the leader of the Celestials.

Azmuth, having heard the question, just finished his steak, took a sip of wine and calmly answered the question.

"It's very simple, I called this meeting to discuss a particular planet that you are showing unwanted attention from its inhabitants or protectors, I think Arishem knows what I'm talking about." Azmuth explained, looking at the giants without any fear on his face.

The Celestials were silent for a moment, as if trying to remember, until Arishem answered.

{Why do you want to discuss the planet XB616, aka Earth?} asked the Crimson Celestial.

"Well, we have a lot to talk about, let's start with my favorite part - the beginning!!!" Azmuth said with false animation.
