Hey all. Got a heads up for you all. As you know, we're entering the holiday season. That means the three big holidays for Retail; Thanksgiving, Christmas, and finally, New Years. Give how things are still in a state of chaos after last year, I may or may not be getting extra hours. I'm saying that my updates are gonna slow down to a glacial crawl until after New Years. I will still work, but my posting will probably be hindered. Just giving you all this heads up in case you don't see any new chapters after Halloween.
That said, on to the chapter!
The steps of Kaiba Corp were the same as Jaden remembered them from years ago. The only difference this time was Kaiba standing at the top of them, not looking happy in the slightest. He joined the older man, the pair hurrying toward a waiting limo. Once they were in, they were off.
"Where are we-?" Jaden started to ask.
"Kaiba Land's virtual world simulator." Kaiba replied, frowning.
"Who-?"
"Some crazy bitch by the name of Sarina or was Sarena? Either way, she's hacked Kaiba Corporation's computers."
Here, Jaden snorted. Seeing the look, Jaden explained. Given his younger brother's magnetism for trouble, the King of the Ring was half expecting Mokuba to be kidnapped. Despite the seriousness of the situation, Kaiba cracked a whimsical smile.
"Yeah, he does doesn't he? But no. He's on vacation with that Hawkins' brat."
"Oh, expecting to be an uncle when they come back?"
Kaiba paled, glaring at Jaden. All the king did was smirk. Sighing, Kaiba asked what the hell was going on at his school this time. Here, Jaden scowled. Kaiba listened intently about it; Sartorius, the Society of Light, Aster...everything. When he heard about Alexis being part of it, Kaiba's shoulders slumped.
"Jaden...I'm sorry."
"Don't. Just...don't. It was my fault...I should have told her to be more careful. But I'm going to get her back...come Hell or high water." Jaden said, leafing through one of his decks.
The rest of the drive was completed in silence. As they arrived in Kaiba Land, they pulled up to a large orange building. The pair stepped out, both their disks on their arms. Walking up the stairs, Kaiba punched in the personal code. Slowly, the garage door opened up. Staring at the yawning Darkness, Jaden had only one thing to say.
"If she says 'Let there be Light', I am going to use my Exodia deck on her."
All Kaiba did was smirk, the pair walking into the darkness, the door closing behind them.
EODGX
The two had walked a bit, a bright orb of light forming. Both Kaiba and Jaden covered their faces, a shadow appearing.
"Well, well. Seto Kaiba and Jaden Yuki. We meet at last." The shadow said, the voice female.
"Identify yourself!" Kaiba roared.
"Sarina."
The light dimmed to show a woman. She wore the ceremonial red and white clothes of a miko with sandals. Her dark hair was elaborately arranged in a flowing ponytail behind her, with the bangs closest to her face positioned on the outermost edges of her head; she also wore round earrings. On her left arm was a first generation duel disk.
"So, you two are the reason why my brother's plans are being foiled. Well, that ends today. I will make you both see the light." Sarina said, bringing up her disk.
"Jokes on you. Two of us and one of you." Kaiba said, smirking.
His smirk was wiped away when a line appeared. The line passed through the woman, splitting her in two. Jaden groaned, looking at Kaiba.
"I don't know who has the bigger mouth. You or Joey Wheeler." Jaden groused.
Kaiba looked at Jaden affronted that the king would even say such a thing! The pair took up their places, Jaden taking his HERO deck and placing it in. Kaiba's eyes went wide at seeing Neos and the Neo-Spacians before nodding. He deployed his own disk, slotting his deck. Sarina smirked, the second one doing the same.
S1&S2: 8000/J&K: 8000
"The starting order is this. Myself, Jaden, my twin, finally, you Kaiba." Sarina 1 said, drawing her card.
Looking at it, she saw it was Full Moon Mirror. Checking over her hand, she placed the card in her hand and grabbed another.
"I play Silver Spirit Ukyo in attack mode!"
(Silver Spirit Ukyo – LV/***, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/800, DEF/600, Type/Fairy/Effect.
When this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Silver Spirit - Sakyo" from your Graveyard.)
Ukyo was a purple shirt wearing black pants. Part of its left arm was nothing but bandages, the head wrapped in the same amount. Sarina 1 placed a card facedown and then revealed Full Moon Mirror.
Between the two Sarina's, a large flower like structure appeared.
(Full Moon Mirror – Type/Spell/Continious.
Each time a monster on the field is destroyed, place 1 "Full Moon Counter" on this card (max. 10). If there are 10 "Full Moon Counters" on this card, you can send it to the Graveyard to activate 1 "Infinite Fiend Mirror" from your hand or Deck.)
"Now, each time a monster is destroyed on either of our fields, a full moon counter will be placed. I will end my turn."
Jaden drew, looking over his hand. He revealed E – Emergency Call and gained Neos. He then summoned out his Elemental HERO Wildheart, placing two cards facedown and ending. Sarina 2 took over, drawing. She played a mirror monster of Ukyo.
"Silver Spirit – Sakyo in attack mode. Now, I'll set one card facedown."
(Silver Spirit – Sakyo – LV/****, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/600, DEF/800, Type/Fairy/Effect.
When this card is Summoned, you can Special Summon 1 "Silver Spirit - Ukyo" from your Graveyard.)
Sakyo was exactly like Ukyo, only mirrored. They had their right arm covered in bandages and their left eye was exposed under the head wraps. Sarina 2 placed the card she mentioned facedown, ending her turn. Kaiba drew, looking over his hand. Nodding, he revealed a spell card.
"Ancient rules?!" Both Sarina's gasped.
"That's right. Now...let loose your roar, BLUE-EYES WHITE DRAGON~!" Kaiba roared, holding his card aloft.
The famous monster appeared, roaring its roar. Both Sarinas were nervous. Kaiba summoning his ace monster so soon was not foreseen. Kaiba finished up his turn by playing a new monster, Lady of D, in attack mode. He followed the move up with a facedown before ending.
Sarina 1 drew, seeing it was a spell and played it.
"Mirror Route. This allows my Ukyo to attack you two directly."
(Mirror Route – Type/Spell/Normal.
Select 1 face-up monster you control with 1000 or less ATK. It can attack your opponent directly this turn.)
Ukyo launched its bandages at Jaden, the boy taking the hit. He brushed off the attack from his cloak like it was nothing.
J&K: 7200
"I end my turn. Make your move, King."
Jaden drew his card, looking at it. Adding it to his hand, he looked at Kaiba who nodded. Jaden returned the nod, declaring an attack with Wildheart. Sarina 1 looked ready to activate something, only to see Jaden smirking.
"Hate to burst your bubble, but your trap won't work. One, my Wildheart is immune to traps by its effect. Second is that its attack power is weaker then Blue."
Sarina 1 cursed, watching as Wildheart sliced through Ukyo.
S1&S2: 7300
"I'll set this facedown and play a monster in facedown defense mode. Your doppelgangers move now."
Sarina 2 drew, scowling. Already the duel had not gone as she had foreseen. She saw him playing the Evil hero version of Shining Flare and her destroying it with her Mirror Bind trap. But he did not do that at all! Still, they got a counter. She looked at her hand and saw a trap that would work very well.
"I play this card facedown, switch my Sakyo to Defense mode and end my turn."
"My draw then." Kaiba snarled, drawing.
Looking at his hand and drawn card, he thought to himself.
'Jaden attacked with Wildheart because of its effect, meaning that the traps she has won't work against it. But against me, that is another story. If I attack with Blue-Eyes, my Lady of D. will be destroyed along with Blue-eyes. So, I need to play it smart.'
Kaiba then looked at Full Moon Counter, a single 'eye' on it open.
'Then there's spell card. Something about it just screams dangerous.'
"Right, I attack with my Lady of D!"
The woman roared, throwing out her hands. Chanting something, a large orb of fire was formed. It launched itself at the kneeling monster. The fire ball crashed into something...and was directed to Wildheart!
"What?!" Both Jaden and Kaiba shouted.
"My facedown trap, Reflection Shot."
(Reflection Shot - Type/Trap/Normal.
Redirect 1 attack to another monster on the field.)
"In this card's reflection is the monster the attack shall hit." Sarina 2 said, Wildheart appearing in the reflection. Kaiba snarled, using his Lady's effect. Discarding his Spear Dragon, he kept his monster, but Jaden's was destroyed.
"Excellent, now Jaden is wide open." Sarina 1 said, another 'eye' opening.
"Not so!" Jaden shouted, a red light appearing, a black E in the center.
"Evil Signal. I play from my deck, Evil HERO Turbine!"
(Evil Signal – Type/Trap/Normal.
Activate this trap when a 'HERO' monster is destroyed by battle. Special Summon 1 Level 4 or lower 'Evil HERO' from your deck.)

Evil Hero Turbine looked like Stratos, only with dark blue skin. Its helmet was an old air force pilot's, circa 1919. A pair of wings spread out, a large turbine in each wing, blood flowing from it. A third turbine was in the chest of the monster.
"I use my Turbine's third effect, gaining Dark Fusion." Jaden said, pulling out a card. Sarina 2 scowled, ending her turn. Kaiba drew, but passed, not wanting to chance another trap. Sarina 1 drew, but passed as well, not having what she needed. Jaden drew, looking over his hand.
Shaking his head, he went on the offensive.
"I'll activate my facedown. Trap Stun."
Both Sarina's cursed, Kaiba smirking. Turbine unleashed a triple tornado attack, shredding through Sakyo. Due to them being in defense mode, no damage was given out. Another 'Eye' opened, Kaiba scowling. He was not liking this.
Jaden ended his turn, Sarina 2 drawing. She revealed the card to be Monster Reborn, reviving her Sakyo who knelt down. Ukyo then appeared kneeling on Sarina 1's side of the field.
"Shit, she got those two back." Kaiba grimaced.
"I now tribute my Sakyo for my Magic Mirror Spirit Nayuta in attack mode!"
(Magic Mirror Spirit Nayuta – LV/******, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/2600, DEF/1400, Type/Fiend/Effect.
When this card is Normal Summoned, you can select 1 "Magic Mirror Spirit Asogi" in your Graveyard, and Special Summon it.)
Nayuta was a woman with a kitsune mask, white kimono with red trimmings. She landed on her feet daintily, but the two duelists knew that the monster was anything but. Sarina 2 declared an attack with her new monster. The target?
Kaiba's Lady of D.
The CEO hastily activated his facedown card.
"DNA Surgery! I turn all of our monsters into Dragons!" Kaiba bellowed.
Lady of D, Turbine, Nayuta, and Ukyo changed into dragon like beings, snarling. The attack Nayuta had fizzled out before reaching Lady of D. Kaiba was smirking up a storm, explaining.
Lady of D protected Dragon-Type's from being attacked and now with DNA in play, her own effect made her immune. Sarina 2 snarled, ending her turn with a facedown. Kaiba drew, revealing it to be Polymerization.
"I fuse the two Blue Eyes I have to make...Blue Eyes Twin Burst Dragon!"
(Blue-Eyes Twin Burst Dragon – LV/**********, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/3000, DEF/2500, Type/Dragon/Fusion/Effect.
"Blue-Eyes White Dragon" + "Blue-Eyes White Dragon"
Must be either Fusion Summoned, or Special Summoned by sending the above monsters you control to the GY (in which case you do not use "Polymerization"). Cannot be destroyed by battle. This card can make up to 2 attacks on monsters during each Battle Phase. At the end of the Damage Step, when this card attacks an opponent's monster, but the opponent's monster was not destroyed by the battle: You can banish that opponent's monster.)
Twin Burst was a dragon with two heads, roaring. Sarina 1 and 2 frowned, afraid of the new monster. Kaiba then revealed Lord of D, playing it in attack mode. Thanks to DNA, the man became a dragon, snarling. Kaiba smirked, declaring an attack with his Twin Burst.
A blast from one of the heads cut through Nayuta, making the pair cover their faces. Another 'eye' opened on the totem.
S1&S2: 6900
Another blast cut through Ukyo, Sarina 1 frowning. Another 'eye' opened, making Kaiba frown. They were halfway to ten. The question now was what was gonna happen once they got to it. He shook it off, directing his Lord and Lady to attack Sarina directly.
S1&S2: 4700
"Fool! I activate my Shattered Mirror!"
(Shattered Mirrior – Type/Trap/Normal.
Activate this when you receive Battle Damage that is 1000 or more. Special Summon 'Silver Spirit Ukyo', 'Silver spirit Sakyo', ' Magic Mirror Spirit Nayuta', OR ' Magic Mirror Spirit Asogi' from your Hand, Deck or Graveyard.)
"I summon from my deck, Magic Spirit Asogi in defense mode!"

A large body appeared, looking like Ukyo and Sakyo, but had bone claws and feet. It knelt down, a glow coming from Sarina 2's field. Nayuta appeared, kneeling down. Sarina 2 then revealed her own facedown.
"I play Remade Mirror!"
(Remade Mirror – Type/Trap/Normal.
Activate when a monster is summoned. Special Summon 1 'Silver Spirit – Sakyo' OR 'Silver Spirit – Ukyo' from your Hand or GY.)
Sakyo returned to the field, kneeling down, Ukyo doing the same. Both Kaiba and Jaden groaned. Not again!
"Now you see...the futility?! This is your destiny, your future!" Sarina 1 cackled.
"You both will see the Light." Sarina 2 crowed.
"You two old crones done?" Kaiba snarled, making the two squawk. "Fate? Destiny? Future?! Let me tell you something. I was 'destined' to lose to Ishtar back at Battle City. You know what happened? I ALTERED MY DESTINY!"
Nothing was set in stone. Only the past was and that always crumbled to dust when enough time had passed. Destiny, Fate, predetermined futures, none of those existed. Only those that actually reached out to grab the opportunities would have a future. He was a fine example of that; he saw his adoptive father and took the opportunity with both hands. He seized his chance to gain Kaiba Corp from his abusive stepfather and made it into an empire.
"Jaden here, yes, has a destiny, and that's to destroy the Light. But he has not been simply waiting and expecting to be handed his victory. He has worked hard to earn his power."
"Damn right. Our futures are ours to create, no fate, but what we make!" Jaden snarled, Kaiba nodding as the CEO ended his turn.
"You deny what is preordained?!" Sarina 1 and 2 said together.
"We do!" Jaden roared.
Sarina 1 snarled, drawing, but then ending her turn. Jaden drew his card, looking at it.
"I tribute Turbine for Evil HERO Malicious Edge. Edge, attack Silver Spirit Sakyo!"
The spiked monster shot its blades at the monster. Sarina 2 hissed, feeling the blades slice into her.
S1&S2: 2900
"I'll end at that." Jaden said.
Sarina 2 drew, looking at the counters. She checked her hand and smirked.
"I play Doppelwar in attack mode."
(Doppelwar – LV/***, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/900, DEF/500, Type/Rock/Effect.
All battle damage done with this card is reduced to 0.)
Doppelwar was a monster that was red and green rocks. It then split into another, but the second one was faded.
"Now, I attack!"
"What?!" Kaiba and Jaden shouted in shock.
The monster charged, Edge easily slashing through it. The life counter didn't drop, but another 'eye' opened. Sarina 2 smirked, ending her turn. Kaiba drew, ordering Twin Burst to attack the two Magic Mirror Spirits. Both were blasted away, two more eyes opening. Realizing what she had done, Kaiba ended his turn. Jaden looked at him, confused.
"Jaden, count the counters." Kaiba said, sweat dripping down.
Jaden quickly did so, his eyes widening.
Nine counters.
"Crap..."
"Yeah."
Sarina 1 drew, playing her own Doppelwar, attacking Twin Burst. Kaiba swore as the dragon blasted the attacker to atoms. The final eye opened, glinting in the light. Sarina 1 played Double Summon, tributing the two Silver Spirits.
"Now...behold the DARK CREATOR!"
(Dark Creator – LV/**********, Attribute/DARK, ATK/3000, DEF/1000, Type/Fiend/Effect
This card cannot be destroyed by battle or declare a direct attack. If this card destroys an opponent's monster by battle, inflict 700 damage to your opponent.)
A dark monster rose from the earth, a large yellow eye staring, two eye stalks on its waist slithering out. Claws flexed, a large maw opening up in the waist of the monster.
"Now, I use the power of our Full Moon Mirror! I send it to the grave to activate Infinite Fiend Mirror!"
(Infinite Fiend Mirror – Type/Spell/Field
Activate only by the effect of "Full Moon Mirror". While a player controls a "Dark Creator", that player must Special Summon as many "Dark Creator Tokens" as possible, with the same Level, Type, Attribute, ATK, DEF and effects as that monster. If there is no "The Dark Creator" on the field, destroy all "Dark Creator Tokens" on the field.)
All around the duelists, mirrors of all kinds cropped up. They all showed the reflection of the Dark Creator, nine of them taking up positions near the larger monster. Kaiba and Jaden grit their teeth, the two Sarina's smirking.
"Now...I use Mystical Space Typhoon to get rid of your DNA, Kaiba. Now, attack his Edge, Creator!"
With the loss of DNA Surgery, Edge and Lady were no longer Dragons. A black beam of energy crashed into Edge, blasting it apart.
J&K:6800 → 6100
"What?! How did-?!" Jaden demanded.
"It is our Creator's effect. Each time it or its spawn destroy a monster, you lose seven hundred points. Now, my token will attack Lady of D."
Kaiba didn't bother using Lady's effect, covering his face.
J&K: 4600 - 3900
"Now, Twin Burst!"
The two monsters battled, Twin Burst exploding.
"What?!"
"Immortal...not good." Seto griped.
J&K: 3900 → 3200
"I end." Sarina 1 said, Jaden drawing.
"I end." Jaden said, looking at Kaiba.
Sarina 2 scowled, realizing that they had figured out Creator's drawback. She drew, but ended. Kaiba drew, passing.
Sarina 1 snarled, passing. Jaden drew, seeing it was what he needed.
"Ancient Rules. I play Elemental HERO Neos!"
The Alien Hero arrived, Kaiba staring once more. He knew those cards, but seeing them in action was another matter. Seeing Jaden's smile, he smirked.
"So, you got em back."
"Yep. Now, I play Neo-Spacian Black Panther!"
(Neo-Spacian Black Panther – LV/***, Attribute/DARK, ATK/1000, DEF/500, Type/Beast/Effect.
Once per turn: You can target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; while you control this face-up card, this card gains the name, ATK, DEF, and effects of the targeted monster.)
A panther appeared, a cape on its back. It looked up at Jaden, smiling.
"An honor to serve with you again, Haou."
"Call me Jaden, please. The move after my next is gonna hurt you two..."
"Do what you need to, your majesty." Neos said.
Jaden nodded, using Panther's effect. A Dark Creator appeared on his side of the field, eight tokens filling the field. Kaiba smirked, getting what Jaden was about to do. The King revealed a single spell.
"Dark Fusion. I use it to fuse Black Panther with Neos!"
"WHAT?!" The two Sarinas cried out.
Panther reverted to normal, Neos and him leaping into a black void. What emerged scared even Kaiba.
It was Neos height, but it was completely black, its eyes were milky white. Its hands were also milky white.
"Meet Evil HERO Void Neos!"
(Evil HERO Void Neos – LV/*********, Attribute/DARK, ATK/2500, DEF/2000, Type/Fiend/Fusion/Effect.
"Elemental Hero Neos" + "Neo-Spacian Dark Panther"
This card can only be Special Summoned by Fusion Summon with "Dark Fusion". If this card is not already targeting a monster with its effect, you can target 1 face-up Effect Monster on the field. While you control this face-up card, that target's effect on the field is negated and its ATK becomes 0.)
"I use Void Neos effect. I target your Dark Creator."
"What does that beast do?!" Sarina 1 snarled.
"Simple. He negates your monster's effect...AND reduces the attack power to nothing!"
"NO!" Both women screamed.
Void raised its hands, latching onto the Dark Creator. An astral form of the monster appeared, becoming absorbed into Void Neos. The monster sagged down, its eyes barely half open.
Creator – ATK/3000 → 0
"Time to end this. I have one of my Dark Creator Tokens attack!"
The token shot out a blast of black energy at the weakened Creator. It was blasted apart, the two women screaming.
S1&S2: 0
The entire area shut down, Jaden and Kaiba smirking. The two became one again, but she was staring in shock.
"Impossible...I foresaw our victory. Impossible, its impossible." She rambled.
"Only thing impossible here is how you expected me to take this lying down." Kaiba snarled, reaching for the woman.
A sudden explosion of smoke made him backpedal, the woman escaping, cackling.
"FOOLS! YOU WILL SEE! YOU WILL ALL SEE~!"
Once the smoke cleared, Jaden and Kaiba saw that they were alone, making the man snarl.
"Damn it..."
"We'll get her...don't worry." Jaden said, looking at his PDA. "They got Professor Sweet treated, but he'll be held up for a few days."
"Well, that's some good news." Kaiba said, pulling out a card. "I know that you need to win this from me, but let's be honest here...you'll lose and you need this more then me."
Jaden looked at the card, seeing Famine glaring at Kaiba, but not saying a thing. Famine was a white armor wearing monster, a set of scales on their hip, a sword on their right. Jaden took the card, shocked that Famine didn't put up a fight.
"Because the arrogant brat is right. Despite your power, my King, he still has you beat by a few decades."
Jaden nodded, pocketing the card. Thanking Kaiba, he hurried back to the Hotel.
EODGX
After spending another day in Domino, all of CDA was heading back...with a newcomer. Sarina sat next to her brother, having just told the man everything...minus the loss of the two VILE Heroes. Sartorius was sitting in the back, frowning hard.
"This is not looking good for us, Sarina. We need a sure victory."
"I'm aware. Don't worry...we'll make them all see."
I think I was a little out of it from switching back and forth between the four. Jeez, Tag duels are hard to keep track of, not to mention write! Hope you all enjoy and I apologize for any kinds of mistakes in the duel.
