Chapter 05 : War
— Space : North Region 5284BXH
POV : Jor-El
The plan had been started, there were five divided to the five largest farm planets, constituting ten members each with a captain, Kal and Lara would lead their own groups and it would be their first missions leading alone, it was time for them to shine, I on the other hand I would be alone going with a fast-attacking fleet with the three leaders together with me.
We would be the group responsible for locating Hala, it may seem like a simple plan with holes, but think, if the main planet is besieged while its food-generating worlds are destroyed, morale would be low and stress would cause errors, and that would bring our victory.
A few hours of space travel using the dimensional paths that everyone used, and I could already see the super industrialized world of Hala, never before had metal overlapped so much with fauna, but I could also see the countless slaves that stood on the surface of the planet.
An empire built on the backs of slaves is always bound to crumble, no matter how big, time is the only cosmic constant and he didn't distinguish anyone, that would be the moment the galaxy and the Kree would learn.
POV : Lara-Zorel
Lara's group along with some Xandar ships had arrived in the area of the first Kree farm world, compared to Earth this world would be ten times larger, but it was properly a huge farm, serving to feed the Kree.
Lara could see that manual work was mainly done by machines, here there were no slaves, only Kree and their families, unfortunately they were at war, Lara thought it was cruel, but it was her father's orders, and she knew he only wanted the best for them.
"Attention, we will emerge on the count of ten." She commanded her group, the Xandar ships would serve as cover, holding off the outnumbered Kree ships, while she and her brothers-in-arms would "emerge", the significance of that was about to be seen.
The Kree ships fired at them, but their wartime numbers were very low, with not even a Destroyer in sight, only medium-sized ships, but they soon received fire from the Nova.
Meanwhile Lara decided to decrease their numbers a little , her eyes glowed red , cutting three enemy ships , she had done as much as she could in the short space of time, she and her group of ten Kryptonians flew at full speed towards the planet, burning in the atmosphere.
They were emerging, basically flying at super speed and traversing the planet, going through its layers and destroying it, ten Kryptonians doing it at the same time, the farm planet was traversed, its core collapsing, with a huge explosion covering the whole place.
Lara could hear, the screams that were silenced, she would regret the rest of her life, but she would not let it affect her, she knew what she was in for the moment she agreed to join her father on this mission, she just hoped that Kal was well.
POV : Kal
The situation was a little worse than Lara, he and his group had only a few Skrull remnants that didn't have much firepower, he and his group had to assist in space combat.
Kal tore, burned and crushed Kree ships as if they were paper, his eyes glowing in fury, his invulnerable skin resisting everything they threw at him, the Skrull witnessing this could only compare to a God of War, it further cemented the Kryptonian image.
Kal, soon realizing that even with his aid they were outnumbered, he ordered the Skrulls to retreat, and ordered his group to deal with the nearby ships, while he?, he would emerge alone, in a world three times the size of Earth.
He flew faster than any shot, passing through the ships that tried to stop him, he soon felt the fire surrounding his body as he passed through the atmosphere, he felt the impact of his fist making contact with the ground, he felt the earth and dirt as he pierced the planet's crust, and finally the cold of the void when it finally pierced the planet, destroying its core and finally an explosion that swept away the remaining ships.
Kal had destroyed a planet, with the aid of absolutely nothing, nothing but his strength and body, he had entered a new rank among the beings of the universe, something on a level few could dream of reaching.
POV : Jor-El
Hell was unleashed in Hala's space, Kree Sentinels jassed to pieces, ships from four different galactic empires, and in the midst of it all was me, my uniform slightly ripped from my shoulder, my eyes burning with fire, a thousand pieces of wreckage all around me.
It wasn't over, I knew that, when more Destroyers came towards me, one of them intercepted by Nova Corp members, led by Nova Prime, this group wore the special helmets, still rare at this moment, granting them energetic powers compared to a station of war, not to mention an upgrade to your physical attributes.
Seeing that at least I was released from that I turned my attention to the other two, there was no reason to contain myself, I simply fired bursts of energy that cut both ships, after that I flew like a bullet, crossing everything that was Kree , I was relentless and my enemies began to realize this.
The Skrull fleet stayed in the rear, to avoid being surrounded, but even they were already on the edge, the Kronan too, they were the weakest technologically, their stronger bodies would not be useful in space battles, not with plasma cannons being fired at crooked and right.
The barrier surrounding Hala was impressive, if I were alone I probably couldn't completely invade the planet, at least not at this speed. After hours of this finding their pattern wasn't a problem, and I finally found an opening and I took advantage of it.
I crossed the barriers of ships and Destroyers, the outsized Sentinels no longer being a problem, because crossing them was very simple, I felt the heat cover me as I entered the atmosphere, the flames went out at the same moment.
Anyway, looking at this planet was somehow interesting, it was covered by a single city without borders, acting as a kind of capital for the Kree people, but each planet had a certain autonomy over itself, as a city-state of ancient Greece.
I looked at the ships coming towards me, fire rising in my eyes, my rays cutting through them easily, I headed towards the biggest building, for I knew who was there.I passed hundreds more of soldiers, they didn't have enough power, and the Accusers were out to the other lines of war, they couldn't imagine their capital planet would be cited, arrogance and confidence in their defenses.
The largest building where I suppose the center of the Supreme Intelligence of the Kree is located, it acted as the general leader of the empire, a union of the brightest minds of the Kree, I say this is asking to go wrong, leaving everything in the hands of a single intelligence no matter how great, was crippling, and harmful in the long run.
But anyway, it wasn't my problem, entering the facility I finally found my objective, a huge room, like a ceremonial hall, with a single huge tube with a green head with several tentacles.
The Supreme Intelligence, one of the most intelligent beings in the known Galaxy, wonder what your thoughts are knowing that I have invaded your world.{Jor-El of Krypton.} His voice was mechanical, almost artificial but still a bit like a living being.
"Interesting, you seem to know my name, but I don't remember giving it to you." I was really curious.
{For an entire century you have been a hostile individual to the Kree people, your name was an inescapable piece of information.} Hmm, well at least he's not all cryptic.
"Makes sense, now I wonder if you know why I came here." My good mood was gone at that moment.
{The Kree people will not surrender.} He said, my eyes turning red.
"They will, or their Supreme Intelligence will be ashes, along with their capital world, I doubt they want that, with five of their most important farm worlds meeting that fate." I could see his eyes widening, probably realizing the loss of connection to these worlds.
{Very well, we will sign a peace contract with the enemies, but know Kryptonian, it won't stay that way, the Kree people will never forget.} His voice was cold, like a machine.
"Just like the Kryptonian people, stay away from my people, or you won't have one anymore, I'm patient, and I can wait for the opportunity." I left there, seeing that the Kree ships had ceased their attack.
Soon news of the Kree surrender spread across the galaxy, shocking many empires, the main ones being the Spartax and Shi'ar, they didn't expect this, let alone the Kree.
Another thing that spread was the fame of the Kryptonian people, the legends they were telling were undoubtedly exaggerated, but they were useful anyway, apparently I became known as the father of the God of War and the Goddess of Wisdom, it was funny in its own way.
Kal was indifferent and Lara was shy, honestly I couldn't care less, maybe that's what Asgardians felt about mortals, but so were we, the difference was the length of time we could live.
Anyway, we received a lot of compensation for our services , including a good area of Kree space, that was good, space to expand was always good, now my kids would have a place to call their own, and I doubt they would have people willing to invade the Kryptonian system, not after this war, maybe in a few generations they will.
At that moment it was time for the second Kryptonian generation, I decided to speed up my original deadline a little, along with the amount, this was to be able to occupy the space more easily, but couples also formed, including Kal and Lara. *sigh*"They grow up so fast." I say out loud, Cortana beside me looks at me confused.
