Howdy all. Sorry for taking so long on this update. I wanted to get the next chapter wrapped up before posting. Things are gonna start picking up and trust me, its gonna be a doozy of an ending. Enjoy!

It was another day at Industrial Illusions, home of the popular Duel Monsters card game. Maximilian Crawford Pegasus had sat down to begin work on several of new Duel Monster projects when an urgent call came. Looking at the number, Pegasus' one lone eye went wide.

That was the number of 'The Chamber'.

The Chamber was a secret location known only to him and others. It was a place for them to safely examine more powerful cards. One of these cards was a replica of the Winged Dragon of Ra.

The REAL Egyptian Gods cards had vanished once Atem had passed on. Clearly, they were not needed. But Pegasus had gotten a hold of one of several replicas Marik had made to fool everyone in the Battle City tournament. He had sent it to The Chamber for study purposes and study only.

For them to be calling him, something had happened. He picked it up.

"Pegasus here. What's going on?" Pegasus demanded, his voice steely.

"Sir! Its the Winged Dragon replica! It's been stolen!"

Pegasus's eye went wide, the phone nearly slipping from his fingers. The most powerful Replica of the Light Gods...stolen. Who could have done it!? He snapped awake, knowing that shit was about to hit the fan in a big way.

"Do a headcount right now! Find out who is gone!" Pegasus snapped.

"Yes sir!"

The other end went dead. Hanging up his own phone, he hastily called in Chumley. Said boy hurried in.

"Sir, I got your message. What's going on?!" Chumley asked.

"Chumley, I'm sorry for not giving you pleasantries, but time is of the essence. How far along are you with the cards for Jaden Boy?" Pegasus asked, serious.

Chumley frowned. He was only sixty percent done with the Spell card, the Fusion Card completed. The Effects department was dragging their feet on the effect. That made Pegasus scowl.

"I'll call them later. But I just got a call from 'The Chamber'. The Replica of Ra was stolen."

That had Chumley pale several times over. He knew how powerful the Wicked Gods were and had seen recordings of the Egyptian Gods in their prime. Such power terrified him. If a REPLICA was stolen...he didn't dare think of the repercussions.

"When will you contact Central?"

"Soon. I need to see who stole it."

Chumley nodded. Hopefully things at his old school were okay.

EODGX

Things were not okay. The EoD and SoL had nearly come to fists instead of dueling due to what they had done. They had managed to convert most of the visiting school students and staff of the schools, save for a few. Axel's forced conversion had upset what remained of West Academy to the point where it nearly became a brawl. Thankfully, Axel was able to diffuse the situation. The remaining school students joined the EoD.

The good news was that the move drained Sartorius a bit, even more with putting Alexis back under his control. Thankfully, the delay was exactly what the mastermind needed. During the duel, he had used the controls of the Satellite above to point it to the Earth.

News of this quickly spread and got many countries super nervous. Prince Ojin's family insisted that it was not them and stated that some outside group may have successfully hacked through the various layers of security to take control of the object. Tensions were rising around the globe. Not only was another country invading a smaller one, now they had a massive super weapon pointed at the Earth. That made the EoD triple their efforts to rip away his support.

Sadly, each of the SoL members had managed to win their duels against several pros making the EoD move to save them. Sartorius sighed, looking at the readouts. Despite him adjusting the satellite, it was out of the range of where he could test out the superweapon. The chance to cause some devastation had been lost...for now. But now he had a better game plan, both for the world and the island.

With the war between the two countries, he could pin the blame on one or the other and watch as war broke out. All this would just help his cause.

The cause of ruination and devastation.

That was his plan for the world.

For the island, he knew that a confrontation with Jaden was inevitable. If he had his old deck, he would have surely lost despite having the Light on his side. But now he had the King of Game's deck. Coupled with his own powers, the deck was one of the most powerful in the world now.

But one could never be too careful. He had an agent in a very powerful place. Said agent had recently contacted him, telling him that they were coming to the island later on today with his prize...so he needed to further distract the EoD. Thankfully, the EoD was more then willing to do that all on their own.

Bonnie walked through the forest, searching for Anthony.

The past few days had been one of bittersweet joy. Jasmine and Mindy had reported that they managed to break the hold Sartorius had on Alexis, but it was only temporary. Sartorius managed to get her back under his control when he showed up with several West Academy students to try and capture them. Still, they hoped that they instilled some doubt into her mind at least. On top of that, Miles had been returned and Axel had been saved too.

Bonnie was grateful to have little Miles back, even if it hurt each time he and Fiona got affectionate. It reminded her too much of Anthony and what they had.

Before those assholes took him away.

She growled, punching a nearby tree. Ignoring the stinging pain, she continued on her search. After an hour of walking, she found a small pond. Wanting a break, she sat down, staring up at the opening in the trees. Birds tweeted and sang their songs in the trees, insects flew through the sun dappled trees. In the pond, a turtle lazily swam.

Bonnie smiled. The place reminded her of her home. Quiet, out of the way, and able to give shows that no nature show could truly capture or replicate. A squirrel jumped from tree to tree, making her watch. A sudden snap made Bonnie shoot up.

Turning to who made it, she froze. As did the person.

Blue eyes locked with her green. She stood up, bringing her duel disk to bear.

"Anthony." Bonnie whispered.

"Bonnie." Anthony replied.

Nothing more was said. The pair's desks were shuffled and slotted in. The disks activated, displaying the points.

Bonnie: 8000/Anthony: 8000

A gentle wind blew, Anthony gesturing to her.

"It is impolite to go before a lady." Anthony said, making the girl frown.

"Well...least you still have yer manners." Bonnie muttered, drawing a card.

Looking over her hand, she saw she had plenty of Heroes, but no fusion cards. She chose one of her cards, playing it. It was Elemental HERO Bubbleman. Thanks to his effect, she got another two cards. She revealed one to be Hero's Bond.

(Hero's Bond – Type/Spell/Normal.

If there is a face-up "HERO" monster on the field: Special Summon 2 Level 4 or lower "Elemental HERO" monsters from your hand.)

"Ya'all know what this spell does, but it allows me to bring out two other heroes. I summon Sparkman and Woodsman."

The two heroes appeared next to Bubbleman. Bonnie played Fusion Sage and gained Polymerization. But she didn't play it right away. She placed a card facedown and ended her turn.

Anthony drew his card, looking at it. He added it to his hand and chose another card.

"I play Gem Knight Alexandrite and use his effect. From my deck I summon...Gem Knight Crystal!"

(Gem-Knight Crystal – LV/*******, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/2450, DEF/1950.)

A large monster in silver knights armor appeared. On its shoulders were various crystals, all different lengths and 's eyes went wide. That was one of Anthony's more powerful non-fusion monsters! Anthony smirked, directing his monster to attack Bubbleman. Shame that Bonnie was ready for that.

"I reveal my facedown Spell, Bubble Shuffle!"

(Bubble Shuffle – Type/Spell/Quick-play.

Target 1 face-up Attack Position "Elemental HERO Bubbleman" you control and 1 face-up Attack Position monster your opponent controls; change both those targets to Defense Position, then Tribute that "Elemental HERO Bubbleman", then Special Summon 1 "Elemental HERO" monster from your hand.)

"I switch Bubbleman to defense and your Crystal as well. Next, I tribute my Bubbleman to bring out Elemental HERO Bladedge!"

Anthony stepped back at the bronze warrior appearing next to Bonnie. He placed two cards facedown, ending his turn. Bonnie drew, seeing that it was Ocean. Woodsman's effect kicked in then, allowing her to gain Polymerization. She summoned out Stratos, taking out the two facedowns. But Anthony was faster.

"Go Pyroxene Fusion! I fuse moi Gem-Knights Obsidian, Crystal, and Lapis for...Brilliant Diamond!"

The massive monster appeared, brandishing its sword. Bonnie scowled, seeing the monster as the other facedown blew up. Thanks to the four Gem-Knights in the grave, it was more powerful.

Diamond – ATK/2900 + 400 → 3300

"Ya ain't playin' yer cards right, Ant! Don't ya remember what mah Heroes are? They ain't Jaden's Elemental Heroes, they're Nature Heroes! Ah play E-Emergency call to gain Clayman! Now ah play Polymerization! Ah fuse Clayman with Stratos! Elemental HERO Gaia, rise up!"

(Elemental HERO Gaia – LV/******, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/2200, DEF/2600.

1 "Elemental HERO" monster + 1 EARTH monster
Must be Fusion Summoned and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. When this card is Fusion Summoned: Target 1 face-up monster your opponent controls; until the End Phase, its ATK is halved and this card gains the same amount of ATK.)

The earth split in two revealing the towering monster. It had black armor with several red orbs in them. The orbs glowed brightly, a red aura appearing around Diamond. Said monster fell to his knees, groaning.

Diamond – ATK/3400 → 1700

Gaia – ATK/2200 → 3900

"Sacre blu..." Anthony cursed.

"I'll have Gaia attack and take out your Diamond!" Bonnie declared.

Gaia raised a fist and slammed it down on Diamond who shattered. Anthony covered his face, scowling.

Anthony: 5800

"Not finished yet! Sparky, attack him directly!"

Sparkman charged, getting close to the boy. The hero began hitting him with light sparks, making his hair stand on end.

Anthony: 4200

"Now its time for a Slice and dice attack from Bladedge!"

"Merde!" Anthony swore, the monster jetting to him and slicing him with his blades.

Anthony: 1600

"I'll set this card facedown and end my turn. I know that this ain't you, Ant. You duel much better then this! Fact, you always made me break a sweat. But that? That was not you."

"Silence! Zhe Light will protect me!" Anthony shouted, drawing his card.

He placed the monster in facedown defense mode, but Bonnie shook her head. Now she knew it wasn't Anthony she was dueling, least the real Anthony. It was just a puppet. He should have remembered that she had Bladedge in play. She saw the three facedowns and wondered what he had played.

"I end." Anthony stated, looking at her.

Bonnie drew, looking at the card. She frowned. O-Oversoul. It wasn't the card she needed. She added it to her hand, looking at the three cards. Anthony looked too eager, but that was the rub. She chose another card.

"Ah play Swords of Revealin' Light. Sorry, Ant, but fer three turns, you can't do a thing." Bonnie called out.

Three swords of pure light crashed around Ant, the monster flipping up in fright. It was Gem-Knight Garnet. Bonnie ended her turn, trying to figure out a way to deal with the facedowns.

Anthony drew, but after looking at his hand, couldn't see a way to deal with her monsters or her spell. He simply ended his turn, the swords growing dimmer. Bonnie drew her card, looking at it. She smirked, revealing the card to be a monster.

"Ah summon mah Dark Catapulter to the field in defense!"

(Dark Catapulter – LV/****, Attribute/EARTH, ATK/1000, DEF/1500, Type/Machine/Effect.

During your Standby Phase, if this card is in Defense Position, put 1 counter on this card. You can remove from play a number of card(s) in your Graveyard equal to the number of counters on this card to destroy that many Spell or Trap Card(s) on the field. Then remove all counter(s) from this card.)

"Hm? Why play that card?" Anthony asked, confused.

"Simple. I enter my battle phase, but before I attack, I use Turn Jump!"

Anthony blinked. Why play that useless spell card? All it would do would skip six of their turns. He failed to notice several orbs on Catapulter lighting up with each passing turn of Bonnie's. The swords vanished from Anthony's field, but that was a risk Bonnie was willing to take. Finally, it was back to her turn.

"I won't actually attack, so I'll enter my second main phase and place this card facedown."

Anthony scowled, drawing his card. He scowled, seeing that he was missing more Gem-Knights for his fusions. He placed another monster in facedown defense, ending his turn. Bonnie drew, smirking as Catapulter glowed again, gaining another counter.

"I use my Dark's effect. I banish from my grave Bubbleman, Bubble Shuffle, and finally, Stratos. This allows me to take out those three facedowns of yours."

Anthony's eyes went wide, watching his three spells and traps be blasted away. Smirking, Bonnie revealed the spell card that would end him.

"United we stand!?"

"Yuppers! I'm equipping this bad boy to Bladedge. You know that that means~!"

Bladedge – ATK/2600 + 800 x 4 → 5000

"Non!" Anthony shouted.

"This is fer yer own good! Blade! Attack!"

Bladedge nodded, surging forward. It's blades sliced through Garnet, making Anthony scream out in pain.

Anthony: 0

Bonnie quickly deactivated her disk and hurried over, picking the boy up. Said boy had tears in his eyes. When he saw her, he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her deeply.

"Ma petite fleur...I am zo zorry..." Anthony whimpered once the kiss ended.

"It's alright, Ant...yer back...yer home." Bonnie whispered, tears in her own eyes.

The two stayed like that for a long time, just basking at being together again. The moment though was ruined when Bonnie's PDA went off. She opened it to see Jaden's worried face.

"Jaden? What's up?"

"Bonnie where are you right now!? We got a problem, a big one!"

The pair looked confused. Asking what the problem was, they got an answer they didn't want. Someone had stolen a replica card of The Winged Dragon of Ra. Hearing that, both Bonnie and Anthony shot up to their feet. Without a word, they began the trek back to the Slifer Red Dorms to get the full story.

Things are ramping up at CDA. The Winged Dragon of Ra, a replica anyways, is loose. The SORA is aimed at Earth. Can the tension get any worse?

Yes, yes it can. See you all next month!
