Invasion Part 3

[Metropolis]

06:50 P.M.

POV : Flash

Today was a completely crazy day, first Doctor Stone called me about the strange being that exploded near Central City, then an invasion of these things started happening, I went to Star Labs and then a boy ended up turning into some kind of Cyborg.

After that, Lantern called me to help Superman, and for the first time I found someone who could keep up with me, of course he wasn't faster, but the problem was his strength, a flick and a moment of distraction from me led me to be sent away among the buildings.

Now, I wouldn't say it was a totally terrible day, I met Batman!! , the Dark Knight !! the biggest crime myth since Jack the Ripper!! , and he praised my work!! Of course there's the invasion of these little metallic bugs, that weird box that Batman and Lantern brought seemed to resonate somehow, bringing portals where these creatures came from.

Now I was running around town taking out as many civilians as I could, even though I was fast I couldn't be in two places at once.

POV : Batman

The situation got out of our control, luckily revealing knowledge of Clark's identity seemed to calm him down long enough to talk to him, unfortunately we can't effectively prevent infestation on these creatures.

At the moment Flash is taking people out , Superman and Lantern are neutralizing as many of these beings as they could, while I was analyzing as much information as I could, my hood was connected to a mini computer that gave me a direct link to the Batcomputer in the Cavern.

News of the whole world being invaded, no doubt this would bring many new problems, but what caught my attention the most were the Meta-humans that suddenly appeared to hold these creatures.

Maybe they're just part of a bigger plan, maybe the masters of these brainless soldiers, I don't know, I don't have enough data, too many strands to think about, better stay focused at the center of it all.

Those two could handle the creatures, but for how long?

07:23 P.M.

POV : Wonder Woman

In all my years as a warrior I never imagined that I would participate in such a confrontation!! These beasts from Hades were weak, but their numbers make them a real threat, but my steel speaks louder than their fire.

"Diana!!, the President's plane has been compromised!!, I need you to help with this!!" My friend Steve said, he used his weird bow and arrow that shoots metal with fire.

"Are you sure?! , there are still too many people in this area!?" I had my doubts about the ability of men to defend themselves against these beasts of Hades.

"Don't worry!, reinforcements are coming, and they come with heavy ammo." He looked at me with a confident smile, it was all I needed to leave calm, the boots blessed by Hermes allowing my flight, I went in the direction where I could see the creatures, leaving a trail of their bodies.

I could quickly find the President's plane, a machine worthy of praise from Dedalus himself!! metal flying over the skies, who would have guessed.

These creatures had already entered the bowels of the machine, but I managed to cut off more of them before they got to the President and his wife.

"Mr President!, I am Diana of Themiscyra !!, Princess of the Amazons and in her lands they call me ..." I made my introduction but he interrupted me with a smile.

"Wonder Woman, yes I know, read a lot about you, my wife is a fan." He pointed at his wife with a smile, the woman in turn patted his shoulder.

"She doesn't need to know that, and apparently neither do you!!" She said annoyed.

"Haha!!, don't worry, it's always nice to meet my fans! ! , now I just have to deal with this stuff!!" But suddenly the plane shook, the President caught his wife before she fell.

I looked out the window and saw that the monsters had damaged the left wing, I was no expert, but the loss of altitude was an indication that we were falling.

Damn it !! What a beginner's mistake, my aunt would be ashamed! , now I need to think of a plan to stop the plane!

But then everything turned blue.

POV : Blackagar

Getting to Washington was not difficult, I felt I should come here, and my senses usually do not miss, the President 's plane was being attacked and was rapidly losing altitude, I held out my hand, my antenna glowed with electrons, the air here was more unclean than in Attilan, but it would serve its purpose.

My electron manipulation grants a lot of abilities, I simply covered the plane with my energy, stopping its movement, and I used an energy shot to kill the creatures around it.

Everything was under control, I got the plane safely to the ground, but more of those creatures came, they will be a nuisance but I can handle them.

"By Hera!!" But I think the woman with the sword has something to say about it, she cut through them with impressive grace and skill.

"Thank you mighty !!, her help was without a doubt at a great time." She said with a smile, I just waved as I landed the plane.

"Tell me warrior, where is the nearest battlefield?" she asked as she wiped the blood off her sword.

I just looked for a moment, she was one of the individuals that Morbius had reported, Wonder Woman, according to the data that came from a people of women warriors, she was without a doubt above average.

I pointed in the direction of the Metropolis path, she smiled and shouted something about a glorious battle, not sure if it's a good idea to leave her alone, anyway I'll just go ahead with the plan to deal with the source of this invasion.

[Metrópolis]

07:32 P.M.

POV : Third

The heroes present in Metropolis were moving more and more to the city's coast, the reason being the migration of the Parademons towards the sea, Batman soon realized that people were being taken, increasing his alertness.

The four heroes were on a street following their path, until the bodies of Parademons cut from the sky began to fall, at the same time that a blue light cut through the sky, as people were taken afloat with a strange electric blue aura around them.

Soon Diana dropped from the skies, a Parademon's solar plexus in her hand, while smiling with the thrill of battle, Blackagar arrived soon after.

"Bewwbs!" Said Lantern, already excited, but a look from Superman stopped him.

"Attention Defenders of Gaea!!, my silent companion and I have come to face the monstrosities of Hades!!, come and join us in this battle, and we will be sung by the Muses themselves!!" Diana gave an animated speech.

Everyone looked confused except Batman who narrowed his eyes at both her and Blackagar.

However, the heroes' meeting was interrupted by the arrival of a metal figure, he hit a building and destabilized it, it was a metal man of almost three meters, with a face covered by a mask.

Blackagar narrowed his eyes, he felt organic life in that armor.

"There is !! , one more opponent!! , leave this one to me silent warrior!!" She ran at high speed.

"Not...Stop!!" He shouted the metallic figure, in a metallic voice, but Blackagar could make out that he is a youth.

The figure's arm transformed into a cannon, firing at Diana, sending her skidding into a car, but without injury.

"I will finish you !!" Superman said angrily, but before he could move an arm stopped his momentum, he looked shocked that someone had managed to catch him.

Blackagar then pointed to the face of the figure that had been shown, it was just a young African American.

"Wait!!, I know him, he's Dr. Silas Stone's son!!" Flash said coming between them quickly, Blackagar had to admit, he was faster than any speedster in Attilan.

"I see, it seems to have been absorbed by some mixture of technologies, but the synthesis seems to be based on the same technology as the boxes." Batman said analyzing the young Stone.

Blackagar removed the hand that held Superman, the alien looked suspiciously at the Inhuman King.

"No...we don't have time!! he's coming!!" the young man said.

"Who's coming boy?, speak no riddles please!!" Lantern said annoyed.

His answer was a huge gate appeared in the middle of the ocean, all the Parademons roared, as if a God was descending the Earth, and in a way they were right.

Darkseid had arrived on Earth, his imposing figure being there for all to see.

"Oh...this was coming." Flash said with his jaw dropped.
