Hey everyone. *dodges all manner of pointy objects* Yow! Yeesh! I know I'm late, I know immensely. Had some very serious RL problems come up. Close Family had surgery and I had to help them out. So that means I had to put this on hold for a while.

Reggie was...difficult to write. But I hope you enjoy the chapter.

All of Central was currently eating. The reason was a quick break between the duels to allow people to eat or use the restrooms. But for the duelists about to take part, some of them were currently remaking their decks in prep of the duel to come. Jaden was munching on a sandwich, adding another card to the new deck.

The deck was filled with the cards Chumley had made. The King did this for two reasons; one was to throw Sartorius off his game and the second was to test them out. He swallowed his bite, hearing a clearing throat.

Looking up, he saw a woman before him. She was an orange haired woman in her twenties, wore a uniform, one that reminded Jaden of the Justice Advocacy General. There was one difference. Her top was opened to reveal her cleavage.

"May I help you...?" Jaden asked.

"Reggie. Reggie Mackenzie. And yes, you can. May I sit?" Reggie asked.

Jaden nodded, but was on guard. The woman sat down, scooting getting VERY close to the man. Jaden grimaced. He smelt her perfume, a combination of lavender and roses. She gave him a smile, one that made his skin crawl.

"What is it that I need to help you with?" Jaden asked.

Here, Reggie placed a hand on his arm, giving it a very firm squeeze. At that, Jaden yanked his arm back, snarling. She ignored it, grabbing his arm and stroking it.

"What I would like you to help me with is you to be my boyfriend. Dump that practice bimbo you currently got and get with a real woman."

At hearing that, Jaden snarled, yanking his arm back again. His eyes glowed, glaring at the woman.

"Forget it! Alexis is more of a woman then you can EVER hope to be. I will NEVER leave her." Jaden spat, getting up.

He grabbed his cards, storming away. Reggie watched him go, a scowl on her face. That scowl soon became a feral grin.

"Men are all the same...show him what he wants to see...and he's putty in my hands." Reggie whispered, getting up and leaving herself.

She had a plan to make Jaden Yuki all hers. It was her dream to be married to the King of the Ring, ever since she first saw him duel six long years ago. She had grown up beautiful and would only settle for the then black hearted teen. When she arrived for the GenX tournament, she was close to realizing that goal.

But then she discovered that Jaden, HER FUTURE HUSBAND, was DATING another.

That had made her enraged. Jaden was HERS, now and forever. She would make him see that. She knew how to do it too.

Lunch broke and everyone returned to the arena. Jaden stepped up to the Red Corner, still fuming from her implication. He would NEVER leave Alexis, Jasmine, Mindy, Yubel, or Fonda! He watched Reggie come out, her top buttoned up once more. But the hungry look she had in her eyes...he didn't like it.

She took her place in the blue corner, disk ready. The ref came up.

"Duelists! Please walk to the center and give one another your decks for shuffling!"

The pair did, walking up. Once they were standing face to face, Jaden handed over his new deck, Reggie doing the same. The pair shuffled the decks, Reggie kissing Jaden's, which made him shiver.

"For luck, my king." Reggie said, her voice throaty.

Up in the stands, the four who actually dated Jaden wanted to go down and kill her for doing that. Jaden just glowered, taking his deck and returning to his corner. Reggie did the same, a slight sway in her hips.

The ref could sense the nervous energy in the air. He raised his flag.

"Red corner, are you ready?"

"Ready!" Jaden declared, getting into his dueling stance.

"Blue corner?"

"Ready." Reggie said, doing the same.

The ref dropped the flag, everyone crying out.

"DUEL!"

The pair drew their opening hands.

Jaden: 8000/Reggie: 8000

"I'll let you start first, Reggie." Jaden said, wanting to see what deck she used.

"Thank you." Reggie said, drawing her card. "I'll start with this spell, Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen!"

The spell made itself known, Reggie smirking. She used its effect.

"I summon forth my Angel Bex in attack mode!"

(Angel Bex – LV/*******, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/2900, DEF/2600, Type/Fairy/Normal.

A soldier of a divine army, his flaming sword cuts through darkness of the Darklords.)

Bex was a two winged man with blonde hair and wearing silver armor. Reggie revealed another spell card.

"I play the Field spell card Paradise!"

(Paradise – Type/Spell/Field.

This card's name is treated as 'Sanctuary in the Sky' while in play. All Fairy-Type monsters gain 500 ATK/DEF points. Once per turn, if a Fairy-Type monster was to be destroyed in battle, it is not destroyed. You take no damage from a battle involving a Fairy-Type.)

Around the pair, golden clouds appeared. Bex had an aura appear around him.

Bex – ATK/2900 → 3400, DEF/2600 → 3100

"I'm not done yet! I summon my Cherub Clovis in attack mode!"

(Cherub Clovis – LV/***, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/1500 → 2000, DEF/1000 → 1500, Type/Fairy/Effect.

Increase the ATK of all Fairy-Type monsters by 600. Negate the Effects that target Fairy-Type monsters.)

Clovis appeared, revealing a chubby baby like being with wings and overalls. He happily flew up to Bex. Reggie explained his effect; he increased the attack power of all fairy-type monsters in play by six hundred.

Bex – ATK/3400 → 4000

Clovis – ATK 2000 → 2600

"I'll end my turn with one card facedown. I end my turn, my darling."

Jaden didn't respond, drawing his card. He looked over his hand, seeing his new cards. He added the one he drew and revealed one of his cards.

"I play the spell card, Opening of the Spirit Gates!"

(Opening of the Spirit Gates – Type/Spell/Continuous.

When this card is activated: Add 1 "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", or "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", OR 1 monster that specifically lists any of those cards in its text, from your Deck to your hand. Once per turn: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon 1 Fiend monster with 0 ATK/DEF from your GY. Once per turn, if you control a Level 10 monster: You can add 1 Continuous Spell from your GY to your hand. You can only activate 1 "Opening of the Spirit Gates" per turn.)

Around the pair, seven obelisks rose around them. They were joined together by lightning. Sheppard looked to Chumley who smiled.

"I was inspired from the events of last year to make some support cards for the Sacred Beasts. Sides...I think Jaden is gonna need em. That's Reggie Mackenzie, the Angel of Death on the circuit." Chumley said, his face morphing into a scowl.

"Angel of Death?" Alexis asked, looking at Chumley.

He nodded, explaining. Reggie was inspired to duel by Jaden of all people. She had been fourteen when he took the circuit by storm and destroyed his opponents. Of course...she got it into her head that she was Jaden's true chosen wife.

"WIFE?!" Alexis screamed, Jasmine and Mindy holding her back.

"Whoa, easy, easy! She's a beauty, I'll give her that, but she is borderline obsessed with him. Any duelist that badmouth Jay and she was in range...lots of guys ended up in the hospital."

"So like Amelia...only with actual claws." Mindy said, still holding Alexis down.

By this time, Jaden had used his Opening's effect. He added one card to his hand, then revealed a monster card.

"I summon out a new monster. Meet my Dark Beckoning Beast!"

(Dark Beckoning Beast – LV/**, Attribute/DARK, ATK/0, DEF/0, Type/Fiend/Effect.

When this card is Normal Summoned: You can add 1 "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", or "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", OR 1 card that specifically lists any of those cards in its text, from your Deck to your hand, except "Dark Beckoning Beast". You can only use this effect of "Dark Beckoning Beast" once per turn. During your Main Phase, you can Normal Summon 1 Fiend monster with 0 ATK/DEF in addition to your Normal Summon/Set. (You can only gain this effect once per turn.)

Beckoning Beast was an amalgamation of Hamon, Uria, and Raviel's colors in a small winged package. It appeared next to Jaden, snarling. Jaden smirked, adding Hamon to his hand.

"Beckoning lets me add a card to my hand. But I'm not done yet. He has another ability. I am allowed to summon another Fiend type monster. So rise up! Chaos Summoning Beast!"

(Chaos Summoning Beast – LV/*, Attribute/DARK, ATK/0, DEF/0, Type/Fiend/Effect.

You can Tribute this card; Special Summon 1 "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", or "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", from your hand, ignoring its Summoning conditions. You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Fallen Paradise" from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Chaos Summoning Beast" once per turn.)

Chaos Summoning Beast was a faceless winged monster with claws and a large tail. Here, Jaden smirked.

"I activate Chaos's effect. I send him to my grave to bring out...HAMON, LORD OF STRIKING THUNDER! I summon you in attack mode!"

The faceless beast vanished only for a bolt of lightning to strike. From it came several crystals that shattered, revealing the large Beast. Reggie's eyes went wide in shock as did the others. Jaden smirked, using the second effect of Chaos. He banished it and gained Fallen Paradise, playing it.

The gnarled tree rose up, covering the air in a black mist mixing it with the clouds of Paradise. Jaden used its effect, drawing two cards. Looking at them, he revealed one.

"I play Cerulean Skyfire!"

(Cerulean Skyfire – Type/Spell/Continuous.

Activate if you control "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder."

This card cannot be destroyed by card effects if "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" is in play. As long as this card is in play, "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects. Once per turn, while you control an Attack Position "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", you can negate any Spell/Trap effect activated by your opponent, then, change 1 "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" you control to Defense Position.

If a face-up monster is targeted for an attack and you control an Attack Position "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder"; switch it from Attack position to Defense mode. Once per turn, you can send 1 Continuous Spell card to the Grave; inflict 1000 points of damage to your opponent.

If "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" is in your GY, you can send 1 Spell card from your hand to the GY; Special Summon "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" to the field, ignoring its summoning conditions.

If "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder", or "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms" you control leaves the field: You take no damage this turn.)

The card appeared, covering Hamon with blue fire. Jaden smirked.

"Paradise may protect both you and your monsters from battle damage, but with Skyfire, I have the means around that! I get rid of Opening to deal a thousand points of damage to you!"

Opening vanished into a swirl of lights. Lights that became orbs of blue fire. They floated serenely over to her. Reggie braced and it was a good thing she did. The tiny orbs erupted into a geyser of fire, one that reminded Jaden of his time from Nightshroud.

Reggie: 7000

"Nice!" Syrus called out. "Even with Paradise in play, Jay got first blood!"

"Indeed, now-GREAT SCOTT!" Bastion began only to cry out in shock.

The reason?

Reggie was removing her jacket, tossing it to the side. Underneath was a white shirt which she also took off, revealing a lacy purple bra. She only stood in her skirt, leggings, and finally, her shoes. She gave a wink at Jaden who clenched his fist. He could hear the girls and Yubel giving out screams of rage, seeing what the woman was trying to do.

"Is she...strip dueling?!" Chazz yelped in shock.

"Yeah...I think she is." Maurice said, staring.

That earned him a hit from Sally who glared. Jaden ended his turn, gritting his teeth.

Up top, Kaiba was glaring daggers at the woman. How dare she make a mockery of the art! He was sorely tempted to disqualify her. But one look at Jaden had him rethink that. He turned to the other chancellors. All of them looked livid too. He quickly spoke to them, stating that the duel was continuing on. That had them look at him before all nodding.

Reggie drew, her chest bouncing a little from the movement. All of the boys watched her, many of their girlfriends glaring.

"I play my Angel Cupid in attack mode."

(Angel Cupid – LV/****, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/1300 → 2400, DEF/1000 → 1500, Type/Fairy/Effect.

Increase the ATK of all level 4 or lower Fairy-Type monsters by 300. Once per turn, you can Normal Summon or Set once more this turn. This card cannot attack your opponent directly.)

A tiny boy with a toga and red wings appeared. An aura appeared around both him and Clovis.

Cupid – ATK/2400 → 2700

Clovis – ATK/2600 → 2900

"But now, thanks to the effect of Cupid, I am allowed to normal summon again. So I give up Clovis and Cupid to summon...The Suppression Pluto in attack mode!"

(The Suppression Pluto – LV/********, Attribute/DARK, ATK/2600, DEF/2000, Type/Fiend/Effect.

Once per turn: You can declare 1 card name; look at your opponent's hand, then if they have the declared card in their hand, apply 1 of these effects.
●Take control of 1 monster your opponent controls.
●Destroy 1 Spell/Trap your opponent controls, then you can Set the destroyed Spell/Trap on your field.)

The Suppression Pluto was a large scaled monster, the scales a deep royal blue. Its head was adorned with horns with a spiked tail. Several tendrils slithered around, acting and looking like scorpion tails. Reggie smirked, activating its effect ignoring Bex's power loss.

"I declare...Elemental HERO Neos!" Reggie decreed.

Jaden turned his hand around to reveal...no Neos! That shocked Reggie. That was his ace monster wasn't it?! Jaden chuckled, looking at her.

"You gonna attack or end?"

"Pluto, attack the Dark Beckoning Beast!"

The monster roared, sending its tendrils. But a wall of fire erupted around it. The monster continued to try and attack, but constantly failed. Then Pluto did attack...Hamon! The monster slashed at the larger beast, only for it just smirk.

Reggie: 5400

Pluto fell back by Reggie. Reggie by this time had taken off her skirt and shoes. Now she was just in her stockings and underwear, which made many boys going crazy.

"Why isn't the ref stopping this?!" Alexis snarled, glaring at the ref.

"He probably can't...look at Kaiba. He's indifferent, but mad too. Clearly, he wants to stop the duel, but is more afraid of Jaden resenting him because he thinks he couldn't take the pressure." Mindy pointed out.

That had them all grumble, but ignore the spectacle going on.

"What I want to know is how did Hamon go into defense. It was in attack mode." Miles asked.

He got his answer from Jaden.

It was Skyfire's effect. If Hamon was in attack mode and she attacked another monster, he could switch him to defense. Thanks to his own effect, the attack was redirected to Hamon.

Reggie placed a card facedown, ending her turn. Jaden drew, then used Fallen to draw another two times. He looked at the cards he had drawn and nodded. He revealed another Chaos Summoning Beast.

"I then use its effect to bring forth...Uria, Lord of Searing Flames!"

The pillar of fire became the massive red beast, roaring. Jaden placed a card facedown and ended his turn. Reggie drew, revealing her facedown.

"I play the Spell card, Holy Rebirth."

(Holy Rebirth – Type/Spell/Quick-play.

Select up to 2 Fairy-Type monsters in your GY; Special Summon them. They cannot attack and are banished at the end of the turn.)

Clovis and Cupid returned, but they didn't stick around. She tributed them for another monster.

"I play The Supremacy Sun in attack mode!"

(The Supremacy Sun – LV/********, Attribute/DARK, ATK/3000, DEF/3000, Type/Fiend/Effect.

Cannot be Special Summoned, except by its own effect. After this face-up card on the field is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, during the Standby Phase of the next turn: You can discard 1 card; Special Summon this card from the Graveyard and have it gain 3000 ATK and DEF points.)

"Oh blast it all! I REALLY need to update those cards!" Pegasus moaned, rubbing his head.

If Sun was destroyed, it could be revived if one discarded a card. But it gained three thousand extra attack points.

"Then...she plans on it being destroyed! But how?!" Alexis asked.

The answer came with a spell card from Reggie. Battle of the Chosen.

(Battle of the Chosen – Type/Spell/Normal.

Select 1 monster card you control and 1 monster card your opponent controls. The selected cards can attack only each other.)

"I select your Uria and my Sun! Now, go my Sun!"

The Sun bellowed, charging at Uria. Thanks to Chosen, Hamon's effect was rendered useless. But Jaden was not without his tricks. He revealed his facedown card.

"Go, Hyper Blaze!"

(Hyper Blaze – Type/Trap/Continuous.

Activate if you control "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames."

This card cannot be destroyed by card effects if "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" is in play. As long as this card is in play, "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" cannot be targeted or destroyed by card effects.

If "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" is summoned from the GY by its own effect, you can use its effects.

Once per turn, you can send up to 3 trap cards from your deck to the GY. If your opponent activates a trap card while you control "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames", you can discard 1 trap from your hand; Negate its activation and effect.

If you control both "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" and "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms", any Face-Up "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" gains double their current ATK and DEF.)

"Thanks to Blaze, I send three traps from my deck to the Grave." Jaden snarled, sending the three.

Uria – ATK/DEF 0 → 3000

Uria let loose a firestorm, aimed at Sun. Sun just flew through it, appearing over Uria's head.

"Avon calling!" Sun bellowed out, slamming its fist into Uria's head.

Both monsters blew up, but everyone knew what Reggie was going to do next. She discarded a card from her hand, Sun appearing next to Pluto.

Sun – ATK/DEF 3000 → 6000 → 6600

"What?! How'd it gain MORE points?" Chazz demanded.

Here, a card slid out from Reggie's grave.

"Its my Impish Angel Moxxie. This little cutie increases the attack of all my monsters by two hundred times the number of Fairy-Types in my grave."

(Impish Angel Moxxie – LV/**, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/500, DEF/500, Type/Fairy/Effect.

If this card is in your GY, increase the ATK of all monsters in play by 200 times the number of Fairy-Types in your GY.)

Bex – ATK/3400 → 4000

Pluto – ATK/2600 → 3200

"I'll set one card and end my turn. Your turn, my king."

Jaden drew, activating the effect of Uria. He threw out a trap, the monster reappearing in a geyser of fire. He scowled. Neither Hamon or Uria were powerful enough to take out Sun or Bex. Pluto was one thing, but if that facedown was what he thought it was. He had to take the chance.

"I use Uria's effect to destroy your facedown, Reggie!"

That had everyone's faces morph into confusion. Wasn't Uria unable to do that if he controlled a monster? Pegasus pointed out that Hyper Blaze negated that little hiccup. Uria roared mightily, the facedown revealing...

"Thanks for that, Jaden. You destroyed my Divine Scrolls trap!"

That had Chumley gasp.

"Oh not lishious! That trap allows her to bring out a Fairy-Type regardless of its level and gives an extra effect!"

"I summon out my Angel Seraphim!"

(Divine Scrolls – Type/Trap/Normal.

If this card is destroyed by your opponent's card effect, select 1 Fairy-Type monster and have it gain the following effect:

When this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap cards. Any damage they would take is doubled.)

(Angel Seraphim – LV/**********, Attribute/LIGHT, ATK/3500 → 4100 → 4600 → 5200, DEF/3500 → 4000, Type/Fairy/Effect.

If "Sanctuary in the Sky" is not in play, do not apply this effect. Once per turn, Select 1 monster in play; increase this cards ATK by the original amount. This card can make a second attack. This card cannot be destroyed by Card effects.

*Effect from Divine Scrolls:

When this card attacks, your opponent cannot activate Spell/Trap cards. Any Damage dealt is doubled.)

Angel Seraphim was a large monster with four wings, four rings around the wings and a large eyeball. Jaden frowned, seeing the monster before him. He used Blaze's effect, sending another three traps to buff his Uria.

Uria – ATK/DEF – 4000 → 7000

"I play another Opening, using its effect to gain back the first one." Jaden said, adding the card to his hand. "Next is Skyfire, dealing another thousand!"

Reggie: 4400

After the counter dropped, Reggie's skirt and stockings were on the floor. All she had left on her were her high heeled boots, bra and panties. Jaden was snarling by now, knowing that she was trying to tempt him. Shame it wasn't working that well. He ended his turn.

Reggie drew her card, ordering an attack with Sun on Hamon. The blast of fire easily destroyed the crouching guardian. She knew that he took no damage, but set a card facedown, ending her turn.

Jaden drew, using another effect of Skyfire.

"Once a turn, I can send one spell card from my hand to the Grave. Return to me, Hamon!"

The crystals grew once more and the fearsome monster appeared. Jaden revealed a spell card, Phantasmal Martyrs.

(Phantasmal Martyrs – Type/Spell/Normal.

While you have at least 2 other cards in your hand, and control "Uria, Lord of Searing Flames" or "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder": Send your entire hand to the GY; Special Summon 3 "Phantasmal Martyr Tokens" (Fiend/DARK/Level 1/ATK 0/DEF 0) in Attack Position.)

"I throw out my hand and gain three Martyr tokens!" Jaden stated, tossing out his hand.

Three tiny figures appeared next to Hamon and Uria. Using Fallen's effect, he drew two cards. Looking at the two, he smirked. This duel was his.

"I offer my three Martyrs as sacrifices for my final Sacred Beast! Rise up...Raviel, Lord of Phantasms!"

The three vanished in a pillar of blue light, a shadow rising from it. Eyes flashed red, wings unfurled, and a roar was heard. Raviel descended, its aura joining with Hamon's and Uria.

"Now, let me tell you something about my Hyper Blaze trap. If I control BOTH Hamon and Raviel, Uria's current attack power is doubled!"

Uria – ATK/9000 → 18,000

"That's a lot of points..." Sally said, watching with awe at Jaden controlling the sacred beasts.

"But Jay can't hurt her thanks to Paradise in play." Syrus pointed out.

"But Sun or Pluto aren't fairy types. So-" Jasmine began only for an interruption from Reggie.

"I use the trap card, DNA Surgery! I make all Fairy-type!" Reggie interrupted.

"Well, there went that plan!" Alexis said, watching as the monsters changed, gaining pixie wings.

Something that had the three Sacred Beasts freaking out about.

"This is Jaden we're talking about. He's always got a play!" Chazz called out.

Jaden smirked. He most certainly did have a play! He declared an attack with Raviel, the monster right pissed at being turned into a fairy-type of all things! He charged at Bex, Jaden revealing the card in his hand.

"I use the effect of Raviel, Lord of Phantasms – Shimmering Scraper!"

(Raviel, Lord of Phantasms – Shimmering Scraper – LV/**********, Attribute/DARK, ATK/4000, DEF/4000, Type/Fiend/Effect.

Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 3 monsters. You can only use each of the following effects of "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms - Shimmering Scraper" once per turn.
●(Quick Effect): You can discard this card and target 1 "Raviel, Lord of Phantasms" you control; for the rest of this turn, it gains ATK of all monsters on your side of the field, also it can attack all monsters your opponent controls once each.
●If this card is in your GY: You can Tribute 1 monster; add this card to your hand.)

"Thanks to Shimmering, Raviel gains the attack power of my monsters!" Jaden annouced, earning cries of shock from the SoL.

Raviel – ATK/4000 + 4000 + 18,000 → 26,000

"But thanks to my Paradise, I'm protected from damage, love! And Bex sticks around!"

This was true as Raviel glimmering claws crashed against Bex. Jaden smiled turned predatory.

"Would now be a bad time to mention that thanks to Shimmering Scraper, he can attack all of your monsters at least once?" Jaden sang out.

Reggie's eyes went wide, shocked. Raviel grinned nastily at Sun, raising its claws up.

"This is for making me a fucking Fairy!" Raviel roared, bringing its claw down on the monster.

Sun tried to stop the attack...but was cut clean through. The blast wave surged to Reggie, making her scream. The explosion threw her clear off the arena, making her crash into the wall.

Reggie: 0

Jaden deactivated his disk, ready to walk away. He was stopped by a shout from Reggie. Turning back, he flinched, closing his eyes.

"Don't close them, my love! I want you to see my glory..." Reggie purred.

"Enough!" Jaden snarled, opening his eyes and locking them onto Reggie's. "I do not, nor ever will, see you as girlfriend material."

Seeing her shocked expression, he pushed on. She, Reggie, saw him only as the Surpreme King of the Ring. A monster, a demon, the Devil itself. She nodded eagerly at this, stating that both were fallen angels, destined to be. Jaden shook his head in disgust. This set Reggie off.

"WHAT DOES SHE HAVE THAT I LACK!?" Reggie suddenly screamed out, pointing at Alexis.

Jaden glared at her.

"Alexis sees beyond the titles I have made...sees beyond the monster I act like. She along with others helped me regain that which my sperm donor tried to take."

When asked what that was, Jaden smirked.

"My light."

The answer struck Reggie dumb. Jaden turned, walking away back to his girlfriend, her eyes wet with tears of joy at what she had heard. They ignored the DAS grabbed Reggie and dragging her screaming through the door.

Jaden was stopped at the arena doors, Syrus being brought down as well. Confused, they walked back out to the arena. They stood next to Sartorius and Aster, though everyone could see the tension between the four. Seeing this, Sheppard stood up.

"Duelists, you all have made your schools proud! Many of you faced down the pros and sent them packing. But there can only be one who stands at the top. May we have the Give a big round of applause to our final four!"

Everyone from North to Central did so, though the SoL only clapped for Aster and Sartorius. The brackets revealed who it would be.

Syrus would be dueling Sartorius.

Jaden would be against Aster.

Syrus gulped. His brother was one thing, but this was the Leader of a cult not to mention a host. Jaden looked at Syrus, seeing the frightened expression.

"Sy...do your best. Do what Chazz did and go down swinging. Show him your resolve to protect those you love." Jaden said, calm.

At those words, Syrus steeled his resolve. He would not cower before Sartorius.

Before you all get mad at me, I am aware of the effects of the trap and spells recently made for the Beasts. I modified the effects to fit more in line with the ANIME versions of the Sacred Beasts. Hope you enjoyed. Up next will be Sartorius vs Syrus!
