Bloody Battle

07:42 P.M.
In the city of Happy Harbor there was a huge mountain, which gave fame to the city because it was the first HQ of the Justice League, but after another plan by the Joker, it was compromised. It now served as a base for the Covert Operations Team composed of the heroes' rebel apprentices.Aqualad, Robin, Kid Flash, Superman's clone Superboy, and the Martian Manhunter's niece Megan Morde or Miss Martian, the five were watching the battle broadcast alongside Red Tornado.
"By Neptune...that level of power, it's beyond us." Aqualad said in shock
"They sure are feeling the aster." Robin said with sweat breaking out on his forehead.
"This...this is beyond anything I've ever seen." Megan said without reaction.
Kid Flash and Superboy said nothing, one because he was eating a huge sandwich due to anxiety, and the other was in a bad mood, but only to disguise his own insecurity within himself.
"I take it you now understand why Batman canceled your mission?" Red Tornado asked.
"Yes…we'd just be in the way." Kaldur said in understanding.
"But even so, this is very frustrating." Robin said, his eyes hidden by his sunglasses.
"Hey guys Sunspot just created a Sun in his hand!!" Kid Flash said with his mouth full.
Everyone turned their attention to the holographic screen, and saw that the Brazilian super hero actually had what looked like a sun in his hands, while Black Adam raised his hands to the heavens again.

The two warriors struck at the same time, their fists collided causing an earthquake, the ground beneath them cracked, unable to withstand the impact of the power of the two beings facing each other. Black Adam was slightly impressed, there were few who could keep up with him like that, but he was just getting started.
Adam punched again, as did Sunspot, the two punched each other without caring, both were relying on their own physical resistance. The combat didn't take long to reach the skies, the two flew and attacked each other, Sunspot took advantage of his energy capacity and speed, and took distance getting in front of Adam, his hands glowed and then small spheres of energy leaked from his fingers.
Adam scoffed, he didn't see how that could hurt him, but he had his answer when each of those spheres exploded in a chain, it wouldn't be enough to hurt him but it undoubtedly stunned him, and that gave way to Sunspot, who carried both hands with energy, and fired a beam of energy that hit the former Champion of Magic in the chest, sending him to the ground.
Sunspot thought it was over, he landed near the crater where Adam was, only to receive a blast of lightning in his chest, it didn't hurt him, but he felt the power of the attack and without a doubt his opponent wasn't finished.
"You know, I have to ask, if you lost the job to Captain Marvel, then how the hell does the Wizard or the Gods allow you to keep your powers?" Sunspot questioned , a true question.
"This doesn't concern you boy!!" Black Adam responded, flying with his fists out in front of him, aiming for Sunspot like a rocket.
The attack was faster than Sunspot could dodge, but he managed to use Black Adam's strength against him, catching his fists and throwing him over his own shoulder, making him skid down the path ahead. Sunspot then fired more energy beams from his fists, they hit the target but weren't doing serious damage.
"No, seriously, you were the Champion, the most powerful mortal alive, in a time when there was no Superman, Wonder Woman or even the Justice League, you could have gone down in history as the primordial hero." Sunspot spoke as he fired more energy, driving Black Adam away into a nearby mound.
"But no, you've corrupted yourself, become just another tragic example of absolute power corrupting absolutely, and now you're a mere doormat sent to do the heavy lifting, congratulations, from mighty Adam, to Adam the Mad Dog." Sunspot continued to mock Black Adam who was already cornered on the mound.Black Adam was furious , he let out a roar and his hands dug into the mound behind him , and using the sheer strength of Amon he lifted the huge mound over his head , Sunspot seeing this was impressed , he could not say that he had ever seen someone like that, universe do something similar. Sunspot's distraction caused Black Adam to smash him with the mound, cracking the ground, with huge cracks all around.
Martian Manhunter thought he should intervene, but Batman suggested against it, he explained that they couldn't be involved in a crisis like this, it could make the world worse.
The alien hero stopped reluctantly, it went against what he had learned on Earth, but he understood the logic behind his friend's thinking, but that didn't mean he liked her.
"You talk too much boy." Black Adam said, walking over the mound and walking away.
But he and Martian Manhunter did not see the small tremor in the mound, and surprising everyone, Sunspot had lifted the mound just like Black Adam, and following his opponent's example, Sunspot hit Black Adam with the mound, cracking it into millions of debris with assorted sizes.
The battle at least was still on the coast and hadn't moved to the center, Sunspot wanted to avoid the factories in the heart of the island being compromised, they would be a good source of income for the population they sent there, but for now he must concentrate at the enemy in front of him, as he looked really nervous.
"Wow, you shouldn't make that expression, it might make you uglier than you already are." Sunspot said with a smile.
"Even the boy in red wasn't that insulting, even he just made childish comments, you on the other hand, it's like a venomous snake was in place of a tongue." Black Adam said with electricity in his fists.Sunspot grinned, his fists being enveloped with energy as well, they were about to increase in power.
"Wow, I didn't know girls spread gossip so fast about me." Sunspot joked about the situation, but his only response was his opponent's roar.
Both were in the sky again, shooting rays and blasts of energy at each other, Sunspot had the advantage in this confrontation because in addition to energy he could form constructs, almost like a Green Lantern, than gold with black spots. Sunspot used this to create chains that trapped Black Adam in mid-air.
"I think we've tested each other enough, what about..." Sunspot didn't finish as Black Adam roared.
"SHAZAM!!!" And a pillar of lightning descended on Sunspot, sending him to the ground and forming a huge smoking crater in the ground, Black Adam got rid of the chains and went to the smoking crater.
"It shouldn't give anyone time to prepare their attack, but either way you won't have another chance." Black Adam lifted Sunspot by the neck, but to his suspicion the youth was smiling.
"I can say the same for you, old man." Sunspot pointed up raised hands with a miniature sun.
"Super strong tan on the house, you steroid elf." As soon as the young hero said, and the sun exploded, Adam's vision was only a strong beam of white light, and a burning pain in his whole body.
The explosion had separated the two again, burning a good part of their uniform, Sunspot was intact, his powers did not affect his body in any way, since Black Adam was not the same, his resistance saved him from having his skin melted together with his bones, but she was still very red and blood oozed from some cuts.
The Villain glared, his eyes were red too but he could see very well, the young man who thought he could defeat him, he a God among men. The old champion rose, on his feet he faced the one who dared to challenge him.
"You've got guts boy, I'll admit that, but I think the time has come for us to end this." Black Adam said as the sky thundered.Sunspot this time was silent , charging what could only be described as a miniature solar flare but hands , both were sending out their strongest attacks , Sunspot would attack with an unstable core star , while Black Adam would use a god bomb , both attacks were powerful to the point of killing many powerful beings, but both were included among these beings.
"It was a good fight." Sunspot said smiling as he sent his strongest attack.
"SHAZAM!!" Black Adam invoked the power of Aten, and what could only be described as a huge tower made of pure energy fell on them, the resulting reaction could only be compared to a nuclear explosion, perhaps far beyond that, but Sunspot did not attack lightly.
His attack absorbed part of the energy from Black Adam's attack, and while the explosion was taking place he himself absorbed all the harmful radiation that his attack could generate, he didn't want to have all that work with the atoa island, and thanks to that he managed to reduce the area of destruction.
Martian Manhunter who decided to get away as much as he could felt weak due to the enormous heat that the explosion released, it was like standing in a sea of flames, and his Martian biologist was trying his best not to succumb, J'onn could only sigh in resignation and rethink his concepts of "power" and "destruction" because what he had just witnessed put everything to the test.
'Could my people fight this?' He thought deeply, he didn't want his people to go to war with Earth, but now he wants even less, not when Metahumans can cause that level of destruction.
It was enough to know who was victorious, the smoke was rising in the mountains, and only someone with improved vision could tell, the attack area was a pile of ash, not even the ground was intact as there were scorching cracks, but soon two shadows could be seen , one held the other by what appeared to be the collar.
It didn't take long to reveal Sunspot, in his human form, with injuries but nothing serious, holding a knocked out and badly injured Black Adam, but Shu's resistance was already healing him little by little, but he would remain out of combat for the time being.
Sunspot smiled, and knowing that he was still being recorded, he raised his free fist, sowing his victory, and he could swear he could hear the cheers of the Brazilian people, he allowed himself to smile honestly and happily, instead of the malicious smile.
[Light Meeting Room : 30/07/2010]
01:00 P.M.
The members of the Light gathered the day after every incident that had happened, they had a lot to discuss and a lot on their minds, but for now they had one issue to discuss.
"Well, it looks like our calculations grossly underestimated your strength." Luthor pointed, as the other members of the Light looked at the scenes replaying the previous day in somber contemplation.
"Considerably," Savage growled, as he stared at the screen.With this new variable, many of your existing plans would have to be scrapped and new ones made. Until now, the League was the only entity they had to worry about, and now, they had another, and most revealingly, they weren't aware of this new variable, which would prove difficult, not to mention the influence this new variable gained later of this whole incident.
"Does he need to be our enemy?" Queen Bee pointed, as she looked at the screen, while others looked at her in surprise.
"You suggest recruiting him!!" Orm asked in surprise, she nodded with a seductive smile.
"For the first time, there is someone on Superman's level, not affiliated with the league and not affiliated with anyone else except his country, at least it should be considered, don't you think?" She questioned, the members of Light thought about the point she raised.
"But would they join us? mes amis, this is not a simple man." Brain pointed.
"I know how to deal with complicated men." Queen Bee said smiling.
"And all can see the light, while Sunspot's entry remains to be discussed, we must discuss the implications of their actions on our business." Savage remembered.
"The losses will be astronomical, it is likely that the drug market will lose a lot of space, and we better focus on alternative sources of income." Ra's said slowly.
"I think you may have an idea in mind." Luthor smiles as he presses a button revealing blueprints with the Meta-gene.
Everyone thought deeply.
