The Deadshot shot had been accurate, aiming where the President's heart would be, and by the bullet's power he theorized that the projectile would explode the organ into dozens of pieces and scatter them along the sidewalk, but that was not what happened.
As soon as the bullet was about to make contact with the president, it hit what looked like a magnetic force field, because the bullet, instead of ricocheting, was trapped in an electric blue field that surrounded the President, the noise of the shot scared him people and journalists nearby, Sunspot immediately stepped forward, already energized.
His enhanced senses scoured everything around, until he stopped at Floyd who stood looking surprised, that was his mistake because Sunspot would only need a second to deal with him, the hero's eyes glowed in gold and two beams of energy quickly reached where he was. Floyd was, and to the mercenary's horror, unlike Superman who probably wouldn't even use heat vision, Sunspot's beams aimed at his left arm, hitting it and cutting it off.
"AAAAAHH!!" The mercenary couldn't help but cry out in pain, even if the energy beams had staunched the wound by cauterizing it, it still hurt like hell.
Hearing the screams it didn't take long for Superman to appear, and seeing the mercenary's situation he quickly took him to a hospital, but not before giving Sunspot a disapproving look.
The team that was watching everything couldn't help but be surprised by the brutality that the other hero acted with the Deadshot, only one understood why, it was Kaldur who had trained in the military academy, he understood that when dealing with a long-distance sniper, the best was to incapacitate his dominant arm, Robin also learned that but in a less lethal way.
"This is crazy!!, he can't just do that to another human being!!" Kid Flash, the most moralistic of the group, asked irritably.
"Well, it's not like he killed him." Superboy said simply.
"That's not the point!!, he could have killed him!!" Kid Flash insisted.
"Friends, I think we better focus on that." Kaldur warned, pointing to the various men wearing Inter-Gang uniforms who had emerged chasing President Luiz's presidential car, all of whom went into maximum concentration.
Kid and Super Boy would go by land, the other three would go by sky to accompany, Kid Flash having the highest speed quickly reached the car, he managed to hit some henchmen who had attached themselves to the vehicle, just a few super fast punches to get rid of them.
Superboy went after the other cars, they were well advanced and looked like nothing they had ever seen, but neither was Superboy, his strength and stamina more than capable of handling the henchmen with their weapons. The three who were left behind in the Bioship had finally caught up with the two, Aqualad descended with two water sabers, Robin with two staffs and Miss Martian just used her telekinesis.
Meanwhile Sunspot dealt with other super humans associated with Inter-Gang, the first was a humanoid made of solid rock, with its limbs having cubic shapes like its head, it had two red eyes and was expressionless, that was Cinderblock, beside him was a Meta-human experimenting on Kobra-Venom, Mammoth.
The two were facing Sunspot in a threatening way, but they only managed to get a smile from the hero, that because he found it ironic that the villains of the Teen Titans were here and now helping Inter-Gang of all organizations, it seems that some do not like the developed Brazil same.
"Okay, I don't have time for this, hurry up so I can knock you out, send you to jail and the two of you can probably run after." Sunspot said with no animation in her voice.
The two brutes roared, and charged at the hero like wild bulls, both punched at the same time, and at the same time their huge fists were held by Sunspot's smaller hands, who looked on smiling. Energy began to circulate around the hero as he looked at the two in front of him.
"Did you know that the Sun also generates electricity, it's a very interesting thing to think about, let's test it in theory." When he said that, a current of golden electricity ran through the two villains, even though they were resistant they still fell knocked out, with smoke coming out of their bodies.
"That was a no-brainer, and I thought there would be some excitement." When he said that a huge explosion occurred a few blocks away, where the presidential car was supposed to pass, Sunspot frowned, and soon began to fly.
Going back a little in time the battle between the helpers and the Inter-Gang quickly escalated, the presidential car was broken down, President Luiz looked out and saw that his only defense were five young heroes, he recognized all of the files they had, just I didn't expect them to fight twenty highly armed Inter-Gang soldiers.
"This might be a good time to test this out." The President said tightening a device on his belt, then a golden beep began to light up, like a countdown. Outside the young heroes made a small barrier, they knew they could win easily, but before they could react one of the soldiers equipped with a rocket launcher shot at them.
"Back!!" Aqualad yelled, knowing the best way was to create a shield of water and pray to Neptune that Megan would be able to create a barrier around them to stop the extra damage.
The rocket delivered into contact with the water barrier, causing a huge explosion, big enough to be noticeable throughout the city, the Inter-Gang henchmen then followed through the smoke, the young heroes lay down, the only one who looked ready to retreat was Superboy, but the Inter Gang knew how to deal with Kryptonians so they took a small piece of Kryptonite.
Kryptonite was very rare, small grams could be worth thousands of dollars on the black market, and the only reason was because of the effects it had on Kryptonians, the Inter-Gang had a very limited supply, used only when necessary. Inter-Gang was an organization that was always interested in stealing technology, and they were very interested in what they could get from Brazil.
But before they could get close to the presidential car, dozens of figures appeared in a golden glow, they were Brazilian soldiers coming through the Zeta Zone, they were equipped in newly modernized uniforms with the assault rifles of the Santa Prisca attack. Brazilian soldiers immediately opened fire, with electric bullets that stunned the unsuspecting, who fell to the ground.
When the Inter Gang henchmen tried to counterattack the Brazilian soldiers they raised their arms, and then a force shield that covered their bodies appeared, it was blue and it came from a device on their arm, the bullets that hit the shield lost their kinetic force and fell to the ground. In the end all the criminals were incapacitated, and soon a medical team came to the aid of the young heroes.
Sunspot arrived at the same time.
."*whistle* Now that's a pretty mess, good job guys." Sunspot said as he greeted the men who came, they waved back respectfully, everyone was very grateful to the hero as he developed this equipment.
"Now what we have here, a very peculiar group of young people." Sunspot said seeing the young heroes being treated, even though they looked uncomfortable.
"We…were just trying to help." Kaldur took charge, trying to lighten the load for his friends.
"Ah come on boy, you helped the President while I was dealing with other things, as far as I'm concerned you are heroes, as are these soldiers, for now accept my thanks and this." Sunspot gave the five VIP invitations, spelled EXPO-Future.
"I know a certain bat will love trying to gather information, rather than just invading I'm giving you guys a chance to watch." Sunspot said no worries, he then turned around and left, everyone then used the Zeta Zone and left.
"Okay...that was really cool." Kid said looking impressed at technology.

02:03 P.M.
Some members of the League were gathered, they were doing it more often lately, it's all thanks to the hero Sunspot, who see more and more attention for superheroes in the political spectrum, more than when Superman came along.
"He just ripped off DeathShot's arm?, just like that?" Flash asked indignantly.
"Yes, and he doesn't seem to have much empathy for the deaths of criminals in the drug shortages." Batman added.
"Man he literally said he preferred flat earth to Gotham, that's kind of exaggerated." Hal Jordan said.
"But that doesn't change that we can't do anything, as far as we've seen he's a hero, he didn't kill anyone and acted within the law, and he has a country behind his back, the only one who can match that would be me." Aquaman said analyzing the situation.
"That doesn't change much, he's proven himself to be violent and has no qualms about having to break our most important rule, we have to plan ahead in case this group he's forming is a threat." Batman ended at last.
"I still think it's overkill, come on the guy has done some impressive things so far, and our government doesn't have a clean slate to deal with these things, and the boys seem to have gotten some sympathy from Sunspot." Green Arrow remembered.
"Well, he said they were invited to these EXPO-FUTURE, we'll have to see and wait." Wonder Woman said at last.
The members then ended the meeting, some left but Batman remained in the Watchtower, thinking of future plans to deal with the situation, he remained watching the Earth that glowed blue, he could tell that the world he had defended for the past ten years changed a lot in his career years.
[Light meeting room : 04/08/2010]
3:00 P.M.
The members of the Light were gathered once more, this time with the presence of Klarion, looking really bothered by the situation, Vandal Savage noticed this but didn't say anything for the time being.
"Mid amis, the situation seems to be heading for an interesting truck." Brain said as footage of the battle appeared.
"I never imagined Zeta Rays could be used like this, really fascinating." Lex Luthor said he was impressed with the technology used by the soldiers.
"But not only that, our little ray of sunshine seems to have a propensity for violence and doesn't seem bothered by it." Queen Bee said smiling.
"And he turned down the invitation that many would be fighters to receive, not to mention he turned down the Man of Steel himself, no doubt his plans are not aligned with the way the League operates." Orm commented over it.
"Anyway, the possibility of recruiting him seems higher, but let's not risk it, for now stay vigilant, can't we have a dangerous new variable in our plans, Klarion any observation?" Vandal asked Witch Boy.
"Well...some mystical forces have been gathering in South America, I'd be on the lookout for that if I were you." Klarion said, bringing everyone's surprised looks, what else was going on in that region that they didn't know about?
