Amazo

A few days have passed since the rescue of Doctor Roquette, the Team of young heroes managed to take care of her while she prepared a virus for her nanobots, with the inclusion of Red Arrow's replacement, Artemis, after which everything returned to considerable calm.

Sunspot was in his office working on future projects while monitoring Overwatch's missions, many members were scattered around the globe, with special permissions to interfere in various matters.

Anyway it was a good day, that is until he received a call for a video call, he scowled, already knowing who it was, and still wondering if it was worth giving his number to UN members to contact him when a crisis occurs.

"To hell...answer." Sunspot said as he cracked open a bottle of whiskey, simply to assuage the headache that was sure to come.

"Rodrigo da Costa, also known as Sunspot, this is Amanda Waller." An African American woman, wearing a purple suit and skirt, with a pearl necklace around her neck.

This was probably the most dangerous woman in the world, and with the greatest influence in the US government, but also a constant source of trouble for the rest of the world, simply because she believed that her nation and its will were above the collective or individual interests of its citizens, civilians, from your own or any other country.

"Mrs. Waller, to what do I owe the pleasure?" Sunspot asked taming a long drink of his drink.

"A crisis situation, as you probably know Doctor Ivo is in our custody, however his Android Amazo which had been defeated by the Justice League is missing from Star Labs." Amanda already dropped the bomb without caring.Sunspot sighed heavily, picking up the bottle and refilling his glass, taking another sip. He looked at the files from the League's battle against Amazo, he was grateful to the entity that he heard that it was Classic Android and not the God version of the Justice League cartoon.

"Well...why call me then?, you can trigger the League, unless of course the situation doesn't allow it." Sunspot knew that Amanda rarely tried to resolve something her actions or those of her government caused.

"An operations team tried to analyze the technology, but they ended up bringing the bastard back to life, he is now heading towards Africa, his core is unstable and an explosion like that would open a hole in the continent." She was honest, surprising Sunspot a little, but anger at her soon came.

"Greed and arrogance really is the downfall of man, I'll settle that, and keep secret how it was reactivated, but as of now you're blacklisted Mrs. Waller, that was your first Strike." Sunspot disconnected the call after that.

"Hell of a woman." Sunspot said as he clicked on his digital watch, his expensive suit was replaced with his hero suit, he couldn't call anyone, everyone was busy on missions.

Destruction, that was all there was around it, houses destroyed, children crying, and the smell of blood and smoke, the Amazo was probably the deadliest piece of technology made by man in many decades. His ability to emulate other beings' abilities was simply too overwhelming.

He was similar to a human, but without expression, with a mane of red hair, with pointed ears, red robotic eyes, his legs were green with stripes, he was checking for any living thing around. He detects the sound of a child crying, turning around he sees a boy.

The boy was covered in ashes, with bleeding knees, in front of a destroyed house, with bloody hands sticking out, probably his parents, the boy was crying at the top of his lungs.

Amazo's eyes glowed red.

But before the red beams could reach the boy he simply disappeared, Amazo looked scanning, trying to detect what happened, but a punch from a black fist with a golden aura sent him to the sky before he realized it.

His chassis took the hit due to Superman mode, but he was still surprised, at least as much as his robotic mind was capable of. Before his sensors could react he felt something tear through his chest.

Sunspot knew a way to stop the killing machine, it was enough to be faster and attack in its weak point, he crossed with great effort the thorax of Amazo, and then it heated up, reaching superior temperatures, and he saw the metal redden.

The machine tried to react , shooting two beams of energy at his face but he did not even feel the heat as he himself emits similar energy, before Amazo could do more, his body collapsed, melting into a puddle of metal and circuits also melted.

Sunspot took a deep breath, cleaning his hand from the puddle of molten metal, this could have gone very wrong, but luckily he went with everything right away, now he needed to help people, many injured, he called the medical and rescue team, there were many who needed this service.
