Injustice League Part 2

[Swamp : 09/09/2010]

06:12 P.M.

While the world's mightiest heroes dealt with the enemy's monstrous creations, the young heroes made their way to the Injustice League's control base, the Team used Megan's Martian Bioship that she brought with her when she snuck into the spaceship. J'onn, but they weren't alone as the younger members of Overwatch were with them.

"Well...I must say this ship has never been so full." Kid tried to lighten the mood, but was only met with silence.

"Don't worry a little bit, this will be over soon, we just need to destroy their command center and then go home." Mirage said to the younger speedster.

"We are getting closer, I know that you are not part of our team and you are not under the authority of the League, but for this to work we need a solid chain of command." Kaldur said as he looked at Miguel judging that he was the leader.

"In fact, we're going to try to follow a joint strategy, to avoid conflicts, we're going to mix up our members a little bit and the two of us can take command from there." Miguel responded by acknowledging Kaldur's concern.

The Half-Atlantean thought about it, he had a plan B in case their initiative against the heavyweights failed, but it would be good not to depend on that so he nodded in agreement with the arachnid hero. Robin meanwhile wasted no time in jotting down as much information as possible about Overwatch members, direct orders from his mentor.

They were approaching the swamp that Zatara informed them would be the base of the villains, the young people were preparing themselves both physically and mentally, everything was going well until Megan and Mirage felt a strange sensation.

The two felt the Bioship, it was as if a wave was going through their brains, it didn't take long for their companions to notice the discomfort. Miguel and Kaldur approached and wanted to know what it was about.

"M'gann what is it?" "Mirage is everything okay?" The two questioned.

"The ship...it looks weird." Mirage said.

"She's trying to protect us from something." Megan clarified.

They were confused but an impact took them out of their thoughts, more impacts made the ship shake, they looked out the window and saw that it was a man, similar to the hero Captain Atom he seemed to be made of metal, but his colors were purple and yellow different from the Captain.

"Major Force!!" Robin shouted warning her friends.

"I got it!!" Superboy a super clone made from Superman's DNA, he jumped into the hole that Major Force made in the ship's hull, hitting the nuclear-powered super villain with a punch.

"Bloody hell, ok Flora-Man and Magma with me, Aquamaria, Mirage stay with Kaldur's group." Miguel passed his orders and jumped in with his required companions.

Flora-Man created wings made of leaves that made him glide, while Magma simply entered his lava form and Spider-Man used his web cape to float, the three went towards the two heavyweights, only to see Superboy being thrown away by a gust of energy right in your chest.

"Well, we found him." Flora-Man said amused.

"Yes, now we have a walking power plant to deal with." Magma said nothing excitedly, turning her hands into two volcanic rock hammers.

"Stay focused, we'll take him down." Spiderman said as the three landed.

"More children for me to kill!!" Major Force said with a psychotic smile.

"Not so much mate." Spider-Man said as he blinded his opponent with his web.

Flora-Man then controlled the surrounding plants to act as chains, while Magma crushed her hammer hands on the villain, making the ground sink into itself while cracks appeared, but Major Force just shot energy to all sides, hitting Magma's abdomen opening a hole.

"No!!" Flora-Man screamed, losing concentration.

"One less!!" Major Force said while going towards Flora-Man, but did not hit the young hero, as Spider-Man took him out of the way before he was hit, while throwing a web bomb at the villain.

"I hope the others are better." He asked.

YJ Team

They weren't any better, Wotan shot lightning from the sky, Poison Ivy controlled vines to catch the heroes, Ultra-Humanite used a machine gun and Count Vertigo simply used his ability to generate waves of sickness, affecting as much as he could.

Kaldur coordinated Robin and Megan to destroy the huge base that contained the largest plant, responsible for sending the signal to the others, but he hoped they were faster, or they couldn't last long.

"I admit that your insistence is admirable, but the end of this confrontation is already quite predictable." Vertigo told the young Atlantean that he appeared to be the leader of the group.

"Not while there's still strength in us!!" Kaldur responded while creating two water sabers, he would try to intercept Vertigo first.

Aquamaria was thinking of the best way to end this, she couldn't just fill everything with water, her friends could be affected, but then she had a genius idea and pointed her hands at Ivy's plants.

"What do you think you're doing girl?!" The Emerald Queen of Gotham questioned seeing the blonde girl pointing her hands at her babies.

Her eyes filled with shock as streams of water gushed from the roots, leaving her possessions dry and withered, soon she was falling to the ground with no more support from her beautiful green babies.

"No!!, stop it!! can't you see you're killing them??" Ivy screamed at the girl that she should be a hero.

"A sacrifice I'm willing to make." Aquamaria responded while launching blasts of water at Vertigo, Ultra-Humanite, and Ivy herself.

"Time to fight back guys!!" Kid freed from Vertigo's powers said running at super speed, landing a nice punch on the count.

Artemis fired his arrows that blasted Wotan from the sky, but did not hurt him, that is until several images of creatures appeared in front of him, originated from Mirage's powers.

Ultra-Humanite managed to land a punch in full on Kaldur sending him away, Kid who was running was hit by his leader, both hitting a thick tree.

Without them waiting, Superboy falling from the sky hit an uppercut on Wotan who was being distracted, sending the mystic to the ground knocked out, soon the heroes who faced Major force appeared, including Magma.

She had recovered from the wound thanks to her lava form, otherwise she would have died, they left the villain trapped in tons of volcanic rock, thick vines and web, he wouldn't be leaving anytime soon.

Everything was going well until the two remaining members showed up.

"Hahahahah!!, looks like the show is going better than expected." Joker, Gotham's most heinous criminal, Miguel narrowed his eyes, having private orders to lead with the criminal.

A device popped out of his wrist, something for him to use on the clown murder, but all at his timing.

"Surrender and perhaps your sentences will be reduced." Spider-Man said trying to convince them to stop.

"Surrender!!?, surrender to children!!?, impermissible, imperative, unacceptable!!, you will die because you are in the palm of my hands." He said while showing gloves that controlled mutant plants.

"That's right, look behind you clown." Spider-Man said pointing to their base, seeing that countless red dots glowed.

"OH..." Joker said as he lowered his hands, a huge explosion made everyone look elsewhere to not be blinded, the entire base going to the ground.

Without Joker seeing Miguel, he threw the device, it was in the shape of a disc, hitting right where the villain's spine would be, burning his clothes and infiltrating his skin, Joker immediately lost his ability to move.

Atomic Skull also ended up surrendering, seeing that it would be him against many, not seeing a better option, even though he didn't like it, and in a few minutes the Justice League with the older members of Overwatch arrived, to the happiness of the young heroes.
