How Sora and Co Got to Remnant
Life was pretty great for Sora and his friends on Destiny Islands. Ever since the final battle with Xehanort, things were finally peaceful.
However… things were about to change real fast.
Sora lay on his back on the palm tree, looking directly at the sky and letting out a relaxed sigh. He closed his eyes, picturing vividly over what had happened at the Keyblade Graveyard.
"Terra!" Ven ran directly toward his friend.
"Ven, wait!" Aqua said, trying to go after him.
"Terra, we found you!" Ven said, placing his hands on Terra's, with Aqua finally caught up to him.
"Terra…? Is that really you?" Aqua wondered, but noticed his eyes were blank. She immediately knew something was up and pulled Ven away. "You're not really Terra…" She said with a cold hard glare.
"Aqua, what are you talking-" Ven would hear a dark chuckle coming out of Terra. He would hear that his voice was deep.
"How observant of you." He said as his hair started turning white.
Mickey clenched his fists, knowing exactly what was going on. "He is their thirteenth!"
Terranort smirked wickedly. "Today is the day where you all lose."
"What?!" Aqua glared. "Let out friend go!" She demanded, but Terranort ignored her.
"Before you even face the thirteen, every last one of you will be torn heart from body… but fear not…" He summoned the Gazing Eye Keyblade. "The X-Blade will still be forged!" He said as he was ready to swing at Ven, but Aqua's instincts kicked in and quickly pulled Ven away and blocked the attack with her blade, but the sheer force of it was enough to send her sliding a few feet.
BGM: Rage Awakened (Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix)
"Nnngh!" Aqua grunted.
"Aqua!" Ven exclaimed, watching Terranort slash viciously at Aqua but she tried her best to block the attack as she was being pushed back. It didn't help that Terra hit like a truck. Ven clenched his fists and rushed over at him, slashing him but Terranort's eyes shifted behind him as he turned around and disappeared, and then appeared right before Ven and slashed him hard enough to send him crashing toward a rock wall.
"VEN!" Aqua yelled in horror.
"Alright, THAT'S IT!" Sora yelled as he started rushing toward Terranort as did everyone else, but suddenly, someone appeared before Sora. Ansem let out a smirk as the Guardian came out and grabbed a hold of Sora.
"Open your heart." Ansem said as the Guardian slammed Sora into the ground, as he bounced off the ground as he tried to recover… but time came to a stop as Young Xehanort rushed in and started slashing Sora repeatedly before time resumed.
"AAAGH!" Sora cried as he fell on one knee and let out a growl.
"Sora!" Kairi exclaimed, attempting to use Curaga on him but suddenly a barrier popped up and prevented anyone from helping Sora out. "No!"
"No interference." Xemnas said.
"Rrrrgh… XEMNAS, YOU PIECE OF-" Lea slammed his fist on the barrier in frustration.
"Heads up!" Riku exclaimed as Terranort came running in and forcing everyone to defend themselves while Xemnas snapped his fingers as a dome of lasers surrounded Sora as they started firing at him. Sora was quick to defend himself but the lasers that struck him was enough to have him fall on his knees, and then Xemnas slashed throguh Sora.
"Aaagh!" He cried as he tried to stand up, only to get socked in the gut by Ansem to have him hunch over… before his eyes started to close. No… this… this can't be… happening… He thought as he fell to the ground in defeat.

"Hey. Hey buddy. HEEEEEY!"
"Ack!" Sora yelped, sitting up as he looked around. "What happened?! Where am I?!"
"Easy… easy! You just got your butt handed to you."
Sora looked down, seeing a cat-like doll in front of him. "Who… who are you?"
"Oh me? I'm Chirithy, nice to meet ya!"
"Where am I?"
"Oh, this is known as The Final World."
"The Final World?" Sora let out a gasp. "Then that would mean…!"
"Yup! You're dead… although, you're not completely there yet. Someone out there must be holding on to you. It won't be much longer though, I imagine it'll take a few weeks or months before you end up disappearing."
"Mmm… can I find a way back?"
"Wait, what?! You're suggesting going back and changing what happened?"
"It's worth a try!"
"Ugh, well, I suppose you could… but just this once, I'll allow it. You did get rather banged up. I suggest you wait a while and-"
"No! There's a Keyblade War going on and if I don't go back, it's not going to turn up in our favor!" Sora pointed out. "I have to keep going."
"You sure are determined, huh?"
"Yeah…"
"Welp, if you insist, you might as well go back and do it again if you want to." Chirithy shrugged as Sora closed his eyes and summoned his Keyblade, aiming and firing a beam of light to where a portal opened up. "Have fun, I guess."
"I will!" Sora nodded and then smirked. "This time, I know what I'm gonna expect." He said and then ran in, where time rewound to the point where Sora went running toward Terranort. He immediately screeched to a halt and then jumped back, unleashing Ragnarok right as Ansem came in and got hit with Ragnarok.
"Rrrrgh!" He grunted as Sora turned around and used Stopga on Young Xehanort, then he got into position and AirStepped toward him, slashing him away.
"What…?!" Young Xehanort would say with a growl.
"Sora, how did you-…?" Riku wondered.
"Just a lucky guess!" Sora lied, giving him a cheeky grin as he turned around and used Curaga on Ven as he sprang back up. It was then that Aqua was knocked back as Terranort was about to deal the finishing blow, but then something got in the way and blocked Terranort's attack.
"Hmm…?" Terranort wondered before letting out a gasp, seeing Lingering Will before him. "This is impossible!"
"Terra?" Aqua wondered as Lingering Will parried the attack as he turned to Aqua and giving her a nod, to which she nodded back.
"Come on, we got this!" Sora exclaimed as they all rushed together after Terranort and the others disappeared, with Xemnas not even bothering to try and stop them.
Back in the present…
Sora let out a chuckle and let out a sigh. "Glad that's over."
"What's over?" A voice said as Sora turned his head and saw Kairi walking over to him.
"Oh, just thinking about the Keyblade War that we were in." Sora responded.
Kairi smiled, climbing up on the tree and sitting next to him. "Yeah, that was quite eventful… but man, I still don't regret what I've done."
"What difference does one little light make?" Xemnas said, holding Kairi hostage.
"Mmmph!" Kairi grunted.
"You have others. Just as we have more darknesses to replenish our-"
"THAT DOES IT!" Kairi yelled, grabbing Xemnas' hand and biting down hard.
"Mmmph!" Xemnas grunted.
"Oh! That brings back memories!" Lea winced, shaking his hand as Xemnas released his grip from Kairi's bite as she turned around and kicked him in the shin, and then kicked him in the crotch for good measure.
"Ooooh!" Sora, Lea and Roxas winced at this. Even Saix couldn't help but feel a chill up his spine.
"Yeah girl!" Xion cheered her on as Kairi slashed him down, then jumped back toward them.
"No way… I am NOT going to be your stupid damsel in distress for the umpteenth TIME!"
"Nnngh…" Xemnas was on his knees and winced hard at Kairi before letting out a growl. "S-Saix… they're… all yours!" He said, disappearing into a portal.
Sora let out a hearty laugh. "Yeah, that was pretty good." He said. "…Still can't believe Xehanort found a way around it though."
"The final clash has arrived! Clash with me, Heroes of Light! Then the Keyblade War will reach its conclusion and we will see Kingdom Hearts for ourselves!"
Sora glared at him. "No… if we clash with you, then everything we worked for was all for naught. We're not clashing with you." He said, tossing his Keyblade to the side. "We seven will not clash with you!"
"Oh, now I see." Riku said as he dismissed his as did the others.
Xehanort smirked. "Is that a fact?" He said.
"But you know who isn't part of the seven?" Sora smirked. "Those guys!" He said, pointing to Roxas, Xion, Terra and even Namine. "They can clash with you!"
Xehanort let out a chuckle. "Perceptive of you, boy… but one of them doesn't have a Keyblade."
Namine let out a chuckle. "I don't need a Keyblade." She said as she conjured up fire. "However… I'm not a witch for nothing."
Xehanort smirked and then turned to Sora. "You require motivation. If you won't clash… then I will make you." He said and disappeared… and then he appeared right behind Kairi as he summoned his Keyblade and tried to strike her down, but Roxas would use Zantetsuken to send him back.
BGM: Dismiss (Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep)
"Not gonna happen!" Roxas said as he, Xion and Terra rushed at Xehanort and slashed him, but Xehanort would swiftly block each attack as Namine flanked him on the right and threw a massive Firaga at him, but Xehanort would turn around and blocked the attack, smirking at Namine and rushed at her, but she put her arms in an X and used Reflega to defend herself, bouncing Xehanort's attack off of her as Terra swung his keyblade into his gut and sent him sliding. Roxas and Xion looked at each other and with a nod, they raised their keyblades at him and fired pillars of light at him.
Xehanort dodged these pillars of light as Roxas rushed in and tried to slash him but Xehanort would throw a point blank Firaga at him, sending Roxas back but Namine would be right behind him and used Curaga on him to heal him up as Xehanort appeared right behind Xion and grabbed her by the back of her neck. "Xion!" Roxas yelled, but Namine snapped her fingers as a Stop spell was placed on Xehanort as Roxas and Terra slashed him away and dropped Xion.
Xehanort let out a chuckle, using Curaga on himself and then disappeared, only to slash Namine hard from behind. "AGH!" Namine yelled as she was sent flying and crashed on the ground.
"Namine!" Roxas yelled as he, Terra and Xion tried to fight but then Xehanort smirked and unleashed Stopza on the three where he proceeded to wreak havoc on the trio.
"No… NO!" Sora yelled, as he tried to move but the others would try to hold him back, but Sora would see that the three were fighting a losing battle as Namine was struggling to get up after a heavy hit. "RAAAAAAAH!" Sora yelled, suddenly going into Rage Mode and knocking everyone back, something that Xehanort took notice of.
Perfect. Xehanort smirked as Sora rushed at him and slashed at him repeatedly.
"Sora, NO!" Roxas yelled as Sora kept slashing at him, but Xehanort would gracefully block these attacks.
"Yes, that's it… clash with me, boy!" He chuckled until he found an opening and slashed him down.
End BGM
"Nnngh!" Sora was knocked out of his Rage Form. "Why you…!"
"I've done it!" Xehanort said excitedly as he went back to his pillar and then the X-Blade appeared in his hand. Sora's eyes widened, realizing what he's done.
"No… no!" He said in horror.
Sora let out a deep breath. "I can't believe I fell for it hook, line, and sinker…"
"Yeah, but hey… at least we finished it." Kairi said.
"Nnngh!" Xehanort fell on the ground, dropping the X-Blade to the ground. "Why… how…"
"It's over! You've lost!" Sora declared.
Xehanort smirked, slowly rising. "No… you are too late." He said, looking up as Sora, Donald, Goofy and Kairi would look up and see Kingdom Hearts glowing a menacing aura.
"Are you… ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!" Sora yelled as he suddenly summoned his Ultima before going into his Ultimate Form and suddenly pinned him to a wall.
"Sora!" Kairi exclaimed as she rushed toward him as did Donald and Goofy.
"After everything you've done… after EVERYTHING you put us through… you're still going to go through with it?!"
Xehanort let out a chuckle, despite being pressed against a wall. "The light of Kingdom Hearts… it can give us a new start. An empty world… pure and bright!"
"WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?! Are you suggesting you're going to wipe out everything?!" Sora yelled, a dark aura fizzling through his body. "Out of all the miserable… YOU WOULD STILL GO THROUGH WITH IT?!" Sora yelled, as his Rage Form took over and pressed him harder to a wall, the wall looking like it was about to crack. Sora held his Keyblade eye, ready to finish Xehanort… but gentle arms wrapped around his body.
"Sora…" Kairi whispered, burying her face into her back. "I know… I know how you feel. Xehanort brings the worst out of everyone, but please… stop this. This isn't you… I know that you wouldn't really do this to him… we won… please… stop this…" She pleaded, holding him tightly as a wave of calm came over Sora from Kairi's gentle embrace. He closed his eyes as the Rage Form disappeared.
"Kairi… thank you…" Sora said and then removed Xehanort from the wall, but still gave a cold glare to the old man. "How do we stop this? There are better ways than wiping everything out." He said. "We can't have light without the darkness, nor can we have darkness without the light. There needs to be a balance, Xehanort… and you're planning on destroying it."
"I have to thank you for talking me out of doing something I'd regret." Sora said. "Still though… I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with this." He said, aiming his hand up and summoning the X-Blade. "I mean, Kingdom Hearts was locked up again so… why do I still have it?"
Kairi shrugged. "Maybe a keepsake?"
"Eh, I guess." Sora said, dismissing it. "Still… I'm glad we finally have a chance to relax after this."
"You said it." Kairi agreed as Sora sat up and looked toward the ocean. "Sora… I… I want to ask you something."
"Hmm?"
"Do you… want to try that again?"
"That again?" Sora wondered before it immediately dawned on him, causing him to blush.
Sora and Kairi both looked on at the ocean while everyone else was playing around and having a fun time on the beach. The two would then look at each other in the eyes and smiled, before they slowly closed their eyes and leaned toward each other, their lips closing in on each other… until a frisbee smacked Sora upside the head.
"OW!"
"Whoops, sorry! Hand slipped!" Lea called out.
"You alright?" Kairi asked.
"Yeah, I'll be fine."
"I'm not sure what stopped us after that…" Sora said, rubbing the back of his head.
"The moment was gone." Kairi said. "But… nothing will stop us now." She whispered as she and Sora leaned toward each other, closing their eyes once more. Riku walked on the bridge toward the island and saw what was going on.
"Oh?" He wondered and then let out a smirk.
"Blast-O-Matic… FIRE AT THAT ISLAND!"
Just when Sora and Kairi's lips were about to touch… they heard screaming that caused them to stop advancing toward each other as they looked to see the source of the screaming, where they would see Selphie running away. "Selphie, what's wrong?" Riku asked.
"This… giant beast showed up out of nowhere! Wakka's hurt and Tidus is trying his best to keep it at bay!"
The trio looked at each other and ran off toward the other side of the island… where they would see Tidus going against an Ursa Grimm while Wakka was sprawled on the ground.
BGM: Night of Fate (Kingdom Hearts)
"What the heck is that?!" Kairi said. "Is that a Heartless?"
"I don't know… I've never seen anything like it." Sora said, summoning his Kingdom Key. "But I'm not going to let it harm them!" He said, running over toward the Ursa and slashed at it. The Grimm backed up with a growl and swiped at Sora, but he blocked the attack. "Tidus, you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine!" He said, quickly jumping to the side and slashed him with a sword before pulling out a Blitz Ball. "HERE'S A BLITZ BALL!" He yelled, throwing it at the Grimm as it turned around and snarled at him, slashing at Tidus but Sora got in the way and used Aerial Slam on him before thrusting his Keyblade into its chest, watching the Grimm fall limp and slowly faded away. "Was that a Heartless?" Tidus wondered.
"I'm not sure if it was… but it if was, then they're definitely getting uglier."
"Uh… guys!" Kairi spoke up and pointed to two Deathstalkers.
"What the…" Sora wondered before switching to his Ultima and rushed forward, slashing at one of them but the other Deathstalker went to try and impale him with its scorpion tail, but with Riku's quick thinking, he used Dark Aura to slash through the tail and cut it off as he landed behind it as he held Way to the Dawn in his hands. The same Keyblade that Riku Replica had restored for him after taking out Dark Riku.
"You alright?" Riku asked.
"Yeah, I'm good!" Sora responded as the two slashed at the Deathstalkers, but the Grimm would grab them both with their pincers and tried to squeeze them… but Kairi jumped in and slashed through the other scorpion tail to cut it off, then used Firaga to burn the two Grimm where one of them released their grip on Sora and Riku and then Sora jumped back and then used Ars Arcanum, then a Sonic Blade attack before jumping back and finishing the two Grimm off with a Ragnarok attack to destroy them.
"Gah! There's more of them!" Tidus exclaimed as the three would look on to see Beowolves rushing at them.
"What the heck are these things?!" Sora said as they started slashing through the Beowolves and then saw more coming at them along with some Creeps. They got ready to attack… when suddenly a beam of light crashed down onto the island and destroyed the remaining Grimm.

At that moment, Yen Sid walked out of the beam of light. "Are you three okay?"
"Yeah, we're fine. What's going on?" Sora asked.
"There seems to have been a great disturbance that affected the worlds." Yen Sid said. "Those creatures have been popping up everywhere. In fact, Disney Castle is being attacked right now as we speak."
"What?!" Sora said.
"Quickly. We must make haste." He said, taking the trio away.
At Disney Castle…
BGM: All For One (Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance)
Mickey ran forward and slashed through a few Boarbatusks and then threw down a Firaga at a Boarbatusk. One rolled toward Mickey, but he dodge rolled out of the way and slashed through it. He turned around and saw Donald casting Thundaga on a few Beowolves and Goofy used a Goofy Tornado to knock the Beowolves back. He had told Minnie and Daisy Duck to stay hidden until it was safe. He knew Minnie was capable of holding her own, but he didn't know what these creatures were, so he had asked them to stay safe until the castle was secured.
Mickey jumped back and used Ragnarok on a Boarbatusk, sending it back but then he heard yelping as a King Taijitu had wrapped its body around Donald and Goofy to constrict them. His eyes widened and then rushed over toward the Grimm, swiftly rolling out of the way and dodging the lunging bites as Mickey would front flip into the air and unleashed Ultima on the Grimm, completely obliterating it and saving his friends.
"Are you alright?"
"We're good!" Goofy gave him a thumbs up as Mickey nodded at the two and then turned around as the three ran off into the throne room where they would see a few Megoliaths crashing into the walls as the three would rush at them… but then a bright light shined down and destroyed the Megoliaths as beams of light struck them.

Yen Sid walked out of the beam of light, as did the Destiny trio. "Glad we got here in time!" Sora said.
"Oh, I'm so glad you're here!" Mickey smiled.
"We were handling ourselves just fine!" Donald said.
"Yeah, but it never hurts for when back up arrives!" Sora grinned.
"What were those things?" Goofy wondered.
"I don't know… but they popped up at Destiny Islands. Master Yen Sid here was saying that these… things were popping up all over the place." Sora said.
"It happened over there, too?" Mickey asked.
"It's happening in all over the worlds… and I'm not sure what was the cause of it." Yen Sid said. "That said, if these creatures are here, then there is no doubt in my mind that the other wielders are facing the same problem, and for our allies in Radiant Garden."
"So, we go and help them out." Kairi said.
"Indeed." Yen Sid nodded. "Mickey and I will head to Radiant Garden for assistance."
"Kairi and I will go see if Aqua, Terra and Ven need any help." Riku said.
"And I'll go check on Twilight Town!" Sora said.
"You?" Donald shook his head. "No, Sora. We're going together."
"Yeah!" Goofy grinned.
Sora let out a chuckle. "Well, alright then… let's go!" He grinned with everyone nodding.
At Twilight Town…
BGM: Sinister Sundown (Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix)
"HEY LOSER!"
A Beowolf had turned its head around to see what caught its attention… and would get drop kicked by Hayner. "I'm not sure what you are, but you do not belong to Twilight Tow-" The Beowolf would grab him by the ankle and held him upside down. "Ack!" He yelped as the Beowolf was giving him a cold hard glare. "Well… this was not what I had in mind!" He said, but then Roxas would slash through the Beowolf to destroy it, but also dropped Hayner in the process. "OOOOF!"
"You alright?" Roxas asked, putting his Keyblades away.
"Mmmph… I was." He said.
"You might want to head back to the Usual Spot. Pence and Olette are already there."
"Ugh… alright, you're the better fighter than I am." He said and took off running while Roxas would see not only see Beowolves and Griffons, but would also see a few Soldier and Shadow Heartless teaming up.
"If these aren't Heartless… then why are they teaming up with the Heartless?" Roxas wondered as he rushed ahead and slashed through the Grimm, but one Beowolf would try to strike Roxas from behind… however, a stream of fire would knock the Beowolf away and then Lea would jump in.
"Don't let your guard down, that's how they get ya!"
"Oh ha ha…" Roxas rolled his eyes. "Where's Xion and Namine?"
"Xion's taking care of these weirdos at the clock tower… Namine, I'm not sure where she's at." Lea said, blocking an attack from a Soldier as he retaliated right after.
"And Isa?"
"Isa-"
A Beringel was thrown into a wall as they saw Isa rushing in and completely annihilating it with his Claymore.
"-Is right there." Lea said with a chuckle.
End BGM
Isa would look up and see a Gummi Ship flying down. "Looks like we're about to have back up." He said as the Gummi Ship landed and then the trio ran out.
"Are you guys alright?" Sora asked.
"We're handling ourselves just fine." Roxas said.
"Well, we came to help ya out!" He grinned, when suddenly the ground started to shake. "Waaaah! What's going oooon?!"
"Look!" Donald pointed in the distance as they saw Darkside forming in front of them.
"Pffft! This guy?" Sora rolled his eyes as he summoned his Kingdom Key. "I don't even need the Ultima for this!"
"Wait a minute…" Lea took a closer look. "Sora… look at his eyes!" He said, pointing to Darkside's eyes.
"Green?" Sora tilted his head. "Eh, who cares… it's still Darkside!" he said and used Strike Raid at his head…
CLAP!
…Until Darkside actually caught the Keyblade in his hands and dropped it to the ground. "HUH?!" Sora yelled in shock.
BGM: Wave of Darkness (Kingdom Hearts: 0.2 Birth by Sleep)
"Did he just catch that thing?!" Lea said.
"Heads up, there's more!" Isa said as Neoshadows and Large Bodies appeared before them… and they had green eyes as well.
Sora resummoned the Kingdom Key. "So he learned how to be faster, huh? That's not gonna impress me!" He said as he rushed over to try and slash Darkside, but Darkside would swiftly punch the ground, with Sora noticing his fist encasing itself in ice as it punched the ground as icicles shot out and struck Sora. "Aaaagh!" He cried as he was knocked back, and then noticed Shadows popping out of the ground where he noticed the green eyes on them too.
Isa rushed forward and swung his weapon to try to knock back a Neoshadow, but it would catch the weapon and then struck its claw-like fingers into Isa. "Nnngh!" He grunted as he was knocked back as Lea went from his Keyblade to his chakrams and then spread his arms out to wrap Darkside in a ring of fire, but Darkside would get on his knees as the heart-shaped hole would suck in the fire before it launched massive fireballs.
"You gotta be kidding!" Lea exclaimed as he rolled out of the way as Roxas would bat them away.
"I don't think these are normal Heartless!" Roxas said.
"Yeah, I gathered!" Sora said as he aimed directly at Darkside's head and then AirStepped his way toward him, but Darkside batted him away and sent him flying, but he recovered as Sora landed on his feet as he decided to bounce off the walls in Flowmotion to get back toward the fight and Airstepped behind him, slashing Darkside on the back of the head. Darkside would respond by disappearing, and then reappearing behind Sora and grabbed him. "Aaagh!" He yelped as Darkside slammed him into the ground and got ready to punch the daylights out of him, but Roxas would swiftly get in the way and blocked the attack, but it was enough to send him flying away.
"Nnngh!" Roxas grunted, hitting a wall. "What's with these things?!"
"I don't know…" Lea said. "But I've never seen a Darkside giving us this much hell!" He said as Sora got back up and used Curaga on himself, and right as he did, he saw a snowflake go past him.
"Hmm?" He wondered as Darkside would clap his hands together and unleashed a powerful shockwave… but then a massive ice wall popped up and protected them all from the attack. The four would turn their heads and see Namine aiming her hand at it. Namine would then used Curaga on them all right as Xion ran over and jumped over the wall, unleashing Triple Firaga with the Omega Weapon. The ice wall disappeared as Namine rushed forward and snapped her fingers, as a Thundaga struck Darkside and stunned him briefly.
"Looks like we need something else for this!" Sora said, switching the Kingdom Key to the Ultima as he immediately went into his Ultimate Form and rushed at him, summoning swords to surround him and then threw them at Darkside, striking him in the chest as Darkside would attempt to Blizzaga Punch him, but Namine, Donald and Lea would throw Firagas at him to counter the punch and then Isa jumped up in the air and struck Darkside in the head, as Sora would clap his hands and thrust his arm up in the air before throwing his arm down as swords rained down and struck Darkside, finishing him off.

"Hah… hah…" Sora fell on his butt, changing back to normal. "Good grief, what was that about?"
"No idea, but I've never seen a Heartless with green eyes before." Roxas said.
"I've faced a few Heartless at the station, they had green eyes too." Xion mentioned.
"I faced a few of those unknown creatures in the woods… and they too had green eyes." Namine spoke up.
"Great, so what does green eyes mean? That we're all screwed?" Lea asked.
"No, I don't think so." Namine said. "But I'm assuming green eyes mean different abilities or a massive power boost. I've never seen a Darkside use a Blizzard Punch before, so… if that were the case… then I wouldn't be surprised that the other powerful Heartless you've faced in the past would get stronger."
Roxas groaned. "Just what we needed… a green eyed Ruler of the Sky or a green eyed Leechgrave… or an Infernal Engine."
It was then that Sora's Gummi Phone went off as he answered it. "Hello?"
"Sora, you look beat up."
"Oh, nothing that I haven't handled before… what's up, Riku?"
"Come to Radiant Garden. All of you. There's something that needs to be discussed with everyone."
Everyone looked at each other, a hint of concern was plastered on their face. "We'll be right there." Sora said.
At Radiant Garden's castle…
"Oh good, you've all made it safely." Ienzo said with a smile, then they would see an Ursa wrapped up in chains.
"Whoa, did you capture that thing?" Sora asked.
"I did." A voice said as Aqua walked over. "I used Bind on the creature to keep it at bay, though it was kinda difficult to take a hold of it. It was rather squirrely."
"So what, did you use bait?" Lea guessed.
"That's one way to put it!" A voice groaned as they saw Demyx leaning on a chair while holding an ice pack. "Dang thing packed a punch too."
"You're fine." Terra said.
"Oh sure, let's see you go toe to toe with a killer bear… let's see where that gets ya!"
"Someone's snippy…" Isa snarked.
"Dude, I got clobbered on the head with a bear! Apparently it didn't like my concert!" He grumbled.
"It was enough time for me to use Bind." Aqua said.
"So great… you captured this thing. So what is it? Is it a Heartless? An advanced Heartless?"
"It's not a Heartless." A voice said as Even walked over to him. "It is a Grimm."
BGM: Scent of Silence (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories)
"A Grimm?" Sora wondered.
"Yes. Thanks to Aqua, I was able to analyze it and it gave us invaluable data. This thing is known as a Creature of Grimm, and it is not from any world that you've been to. It hails from a world known as Remnant. These creatures are attracted to negativity. They usually do not bother someone who have more happier moments, but… they will attack if you provoke them. They are just like the Heartless, they rely on instinct when they attack… but it usually ends up with them getting killed, and when they die… they fade away."
"Oh wow…"
"They also seem to do not do well in captivity, given that they fade away if they are captured." Even said. "The fact that this one held on for so long amazes me." He said, and right on cue, the Ursa faded away. "…Never mind."
"So, they're from this Remnant. How did they get all the way over here?" Riku wondered.
"It is because of an anomaly." A voice said as they saw Ansem the Wise walking in. "Whatever had happened in that world, it caused the Grimm to start appearing in different worlds from portals, and in turn, the Heartless would be sent to Remnant as well. It never had a Heartless problem before, but now that the Heartless are there, I would not be surprised if more start appearing there."
"So do we go over there right now?" Sora asked. "I mean, if the Heartless are there… then that would mean we would need to go over there and help those guys out."
"We do not know what the world is like over there." Yen Sid spoke up. "I am sending Mickey over there for reconnaissance so we can have a more general idea of what that world is like."
"Right." Mickey nodded. "I won't be long, fellas!"
End BGM
Later, at Remnant…
Mickey landed the Gummi Ship in the bushes, and then walked out. "Now let's see, where am I?" He wondered as he spotted a mansion up ahead. He walked over toward it out of curiosity and noticed a plaque on the grass nearby. He walked over to it out of curiosity. "Welcome… to the Super Smash Bros Mansion. We call it Smash Mansion for short." He read. "Huh… sounds like it's a great exciting tournament." He said and then walked inside the mansion.
Once he walked inside, he would notice a few Smashers wandering around the place, then walked further along. He assumed that he would stick out like a sore thumb, but then noticed a large crocodile laughing with a space dragon. Pokemon ran around the area, Incineroar was lifting weights, Greninja leaning on a wall while Duck Hunt ran past. He would see Min Min grabbing something off the shelf with her ARMs.
Mickey felt more relaxed. He didn't know why, but he felt he'd fit right in with everyone and no one would even notice. As he walked, he noticed Master Hand floating around with a hum. He figured that this floating hand would lead him in the right direction. "Excuse me." He said, catching his attention.
"Hmm?" Master Hand turned around toward him. "Oh, hello. What can I do for you?"
"Hello there. I was wondering if you wouldn't happen to be the leader of Remnant?"
"Ohohoho, no. I'm actually the leader of the Smash Mansion. But I do know someone who is a leader in Remnant."
"Oh? Can you take me to him?"
"Certainly!" He said right as Cloud walked by as he casually turned his head and saw Mickey before he turned his head back… and then did a double take.
"Huh?" He wondered as he looked at Mickey. "Is that…?" He wondered, rubbing his eyes right as Master Hand snapped himself and Mickey away. He removed his fingers from his eyes and saw empty space. "Mmm, I think all this training is making me see things."
At Beacon…
"What are those creatures down there?" Ozpin wondered, watching CFVY annihilate some Heartless in the courtyard as they were joined by some other huntsmen. He heard snapping behind him as he turned to see Master Hand and Mickey in front of him. "Ah, hello Master Hand… and who's this?"
"He said he was looking for a leader of Remnant, so I told him I knew someone. So I brought him here to you."
BGM: Just Wondering (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories)
"I see." Ozpin mused. "Tell me, what is your name?"
"I am King Mickey. I am not from your world."
"Ah, another outworlder, I presume?"
"Hmm?" Mickey tilted his head. "What do you mean?"
"You are not the first one to join our world. You can definitely thank K. Rool for that." Ozpin said.
"Personally, I'd say it was him and Yang responsible for it, since she technically had a hand in it given that she pushed him over the edge."
"Hmm, fair point." Ozpin nodded. "You see, your majesty, due to a powerful shockwave from K. Rool's Blast-O-Matic, people from different worlds have been popping up all over the place. In fact, there was one instance where a whole world was portaled into our realm. It is currently resting as a new moon for Planet Popstar."
"Oh gosh… is there a way to stop this?"
"I'm afraid not. It is always random, so we never know what to expect." Ozpin explained. "No one really seems to mind coming to our world though."
"I see. Is this the world that has the Grimm?" Mickey asked.
"Of course. Why do you ask?"
"Well… this is going to sound silly, but… the Creatures of Grimm have invaded our realm."
Ozpin stood up in surprise. "They what?!"
"Indeed. They started showing up… and I've heard that the Heartless have started appearing in this world, correct?"
"Heartless?" Ozpin turned around and saw the Heartless popping up and attacking the huntsmen. "Is that them?"
Mickey walked over and took a closer look. "Yup, those are the Heartless."
"What are the Heartless?" Ozpin asked curiously. "If you tell me, I'll let you know about the Grimm."

Meanwhile, up at Ghostly Galaxy…
"Ach, it's bloody dark in here…" Gloria said.
"Don't worry, I got it." Luigi said, pulling out a flashlight as they walked through the dark hallway… unaware of Heartless popping into existence, consisting of Shadows, Neoshadows, Flutterings, Flame and Water cores, and Possessors. They would see the group walking through the room and with a nod, they would sneak around the ground as a Neoshadow dropped from the ceiling and yanked the flashlight off of Luigi, before turning the flashlight off, then tossed it to the side. "No!"
"Um, guys?" Jaune spoke up as they saw their yellow eyes.
"Are these Grimm?" Pyrrha wondered.
"They probably are!" Nora said, readying her hammer.
Back at Beacon…
"I see… so that's what the Heartless are." Ozpin mused. "They're attracted to the darkness in people's hearts… and you're saying that everyone has some sort of darkness in them?"
"Yes." Mickey nodded. "Even if someone is pure, then there is some darkness in their heart… unless if you are a Princess of Heart."
"Then that would mean the pure souls such as Peach or Ruby would fall prey to these Heartless…" Master Hand mused. "That's unfortunate."
"Now that I've said what the Heartless are… what about the Grimm?"
"Ah yes. You see, the Creatures of Grimm first came into existence when the God of Darkness created them just to get a rise out of his brother. However, there once was a woman who was locked up inside a tower and there was a young man who rescued her. However, this young man died due to an illness and sought help from the brother gods. They wouldn't bring him back due to the balance of life… even if she tried. Her punishment was to be sunk into the God of Light's fountain to where she was cursed with immortality and until she learned to let go, she would remain immortal. The next thing she did was she gathered an army to rally against the Gods with their magic. However, it was because of this that everyone was wiped out… all but this young woman. The only thing to accompany her was the Grimm… and so she became the queen of the Grimm when she jumped into a Grimm Pool, thinking it would be enough to undo her immortality, but that never happened. She became a whole different person."
"Oh my gosh… who was she?"
"Her name… is Salem. And to this day, she is still in Remnant where she will one day gather the relics which are the key to bring the Gods back. If the Gods find humanity redeemable, then humanity will be made whole. If they find them to be irredeemable, then humanity and Remnant will be wiped out… and she plans on wiping everything out just so she can be with this young man."
"Oh gosh! Who was this young man?" He wondered as Master Hand looked at Ozpin to which he gave a nod.
"That young man was none other than Ozma." Master Hand explained. "The Gods resurrected him and gave him reincarnation every time he perished. Unfortunately, their happy reunion and their lives were cut short when he realized what Salem had become… and so, he tried to flee, but his life had ended from Salem's hand."
"Ozma… is none other than me. I am just one of many reincarnations." Ozpin spoke up.
"What?!" Mickey said in shock. "Oh gosh… this is horrible."
"Indeed, and while Salem cannot be killed, she can be defeated. It will take a long time for that to happen though." Ozpin explained. "Though, I imagine a Keyblade would do a number on her." He mused.
"It probably would." Mickey nodded. "I will head back to my realm and I will relay this to my friends."
"Understood. If you ever decide to bring your best warrior to Remnant, we will welcome him with open arms." He said and with a nod, Mickey took off and headed back to Radiant Garden.
Once at Radiant Garden…
"WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT?!" Everyone but Yen Sid yelled, though he did look surprised once Mickey relayed to what Ozpin told him.
"So you mean to tell me that these Creatures of Grimm are made by an old hag because she lost her love?" Sora spoke up.
"Not only that, but it's a war between two exes!" Demyx spoke up. "Everyone else is caught up in the divorce! …Glad I'm not part of it!"
"So we go from a sad old man with a dark heart… to a sad old woman with a Grimm-filled heart… sounds like a fair trade." Riku said sarcastically.
"Great… so now what?" Lea asked.
"I say we give it a shot and try to save Remnant before it gets destroyed by Salem." Ven said. "I mean, it's worth a try, right?"
"Definitely." Aqua nodded. "So I say we-"
"What on earth?!" Ienzo suddenly spoke up as they turned to him. "This can't be right… Remnant just disappeared! It's like it imploded in on itself!"
"Oh… great, we're too late." Roxas sighed.
"Unfortunate-… oh! Never mind, it just popped back up again. It was probably a glitch that worked itself out."
"So… who's gonna go to that wacky place?" Lea asked.
"I will!" A voice spoke up as they turned to Sora.
BGM: Sora (Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMix)
"Yeah, I mean… this Salem chick is completely unstable, so she's really dangerous… but come on! We've faced Organization XIII not once but twice! We took out Xehanort, for crying out loud. So how bad can Salem really be? I'll go to Remnant and help out the Huntsman and Huntresses."
"You're not going alone!" Donald protested. "I am going with you!"
"Ah'hyuck! Count me in as well!" Goofy said.
Sora grinned. "That's good enough for me!"
"Sora." Ienzo spoke up. "Should it prove too much for the three of you, you can call us for backup just in case if you need help."
"Right." Sora nodded. "Come on, let's go!" He said as the Disney Trio attempted to take off to the Gummi Ship.
"Wait fellas!" Mickey spoke up, turning their attention to him. "I know you like to use the Gummi Ship, but might I suggest you use this instead?" He then gave them a Star Shard. "With this, you can warp over to Remnant in a snap!"
"Sweet! Thanks." Sora said as he raised it up high. "Come on, let's go to Remnant!" He said with Donald and Goofy nodding.
"Sora. Wait." A voice said as he turned to Kairi approaching him. "Before you go, I just want to say… good luck." She said, wrapping her arms around him as he hugged her back. "Stay safe, okay?"
"I will." Sora smiled as the two looked at each other in the eyes as they would attempt to kiss… but the Star Shard activated and took Sora, Donald and Goofy. "Waaaah! Whoooooa! WHOOOOOOOOOOA!" All three of them yelled and disappeared.

"OH COME ON!" Kairi yelled.
"Yeah, I don't think you're ever gonna kiss him." Xion giggled, causing Kairi to shoot her a glare that made her flinch. "Mmph! …Too soon?"
They would be going to Remnant… unfortunately, Sora didn't know how to pilot the Star Shard.
Meanwhile, at some world…
Sora, Donald and Goofy landed on a platform. "Okay! That was a bit weird…" Sora said.
"Are we at Remnant? It's a bit hot." Goofy said.
"Look!" Donald exclaimed, pointing to some Spartans in the distance.
"Blue Team! Stand down!" A Spartan ordered, but three Spartans ignored him and jumped into the portal.
"I have a job to do." A green Spartan told him and walked off.
"Cortana's our concern now, sir."
"…Like hell she is."
"Ooooh!" Sora winced once he saw Chief socking him in the face. "That'll hurt."
"I don't think we're at Remnant." Donald said.
"Yeah, let's get out of here." Sora said, using the Star Shard again to get them all out of there where they would end up in a new world.
"Gawrsh! It looks so technically advanced here!" Goofy said.
"I believe it is "technologically advanced"." Donald responded.
"Oh, right." Goofy chuckled.
"Is this Remnant?" Sora wondered.
"You don't recognize it? This is your home!" A voice said as Sora turned his head and saw a robotic brainiac talking to a smaller robot. "The Great Clock! A marvel of science and sorcery, engineered by the brightest Zoni in all of existence and constructed in the EXACT CENTER OF THE UNIVERSE! …Give or take fifty feet."
Sora slumped a bit. "Yeah… this isn't it. Apparently we're in the center of the universe… give or take fifty feet." He said.
"Aww…" Donald pouted as Sora used the Star Shard again… where they would end up in a new world.
"Okay, this has to be Remnant." Sora said.
"COOPEEEEER!" A voice screamed as they turned to see a raccoon thief running away from a cop that was shooting missiles at him.
"…Or not." Sora responded.
"You sure you know we're going the right way?" Donald asked.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure." Sora said. "Just gotta iron out a few kinks." He said as he used it again and they wound up in some sort of underground area.
"Gawrsh, what's with these skeletons in the cells?" Goofy wondered.
"We could be in some underground bunker in Remnant." Sora said.
"GET OVER HERE!"
The voice was enough to make everyone jump as they turned to see a man being pulled by a chain towards a man in yellow, where he proceeded to beat the living snot out of him. "Uh… should we help him?" Donald asked, and then saw him ripping his entire head off.
"AAAH! Nope, I'm not dealing with that!" Sora said, using the Star Shard to get them out of there.
"Scorpion wins. FATALITY!"
The trio would end up behind a fence. "Okay, this should be Remnant." Sora said.
"If you know what's good for you, you will run!"
"Huh?" Sora wondered as they looked through the fence, and saw nothing but war in front of the fence.
"Pop quiz! How long does it take to beat a moron to death? BAP, sorry time's up, you're dead!"
"I will gut you like a cornish game hen!"
"TIME TO HIDE COWARDS!"
"Oh, looks like they're gonna have to glue you back together... IN HELL!"
"Okay… we're lost." Sora said.
"You don't say!" Donald said impatiently as the Star Shard would take them to a different world… where they would end up on rooftops.
"Okay, this could be Remnant!" Sora said, and then felt the ground vibrate as they saw a gigantic robot. "Whoa!" He exclaimed.
"This isn't it." Goofy said as they looked down and saw a group of mercenaries fighting the gigantic robot before seeing a young woman zipping over toward the robot but it looked like she wasn't going to make it.
"RYUJIN NO KEN WA KURAE!"
"Coooool!" Sora said, his eyes sparkling at what he was witnessing.
"Mmmph!" Donald grabbed Sora by the shoulder. "GET US OUT OF HERE!" He yelled into his ear.
"Gah!" Sora yelled. "Alright alright… geez!" He winced as he got them out of there… hoping that they would head into Remnant, but instead, they ended up in a snowy forest.
"…Please tell me this is Remnant." Donald said.
"I mean, we can ask around, right?" Sora guessed.
"We can ask that feller right over there!" Goofy pointed in the distance and with a nod, Sora ran over.
"Excuse us!" He said.
"Hmm?" The man turned around, as he looked like a Greek Spartan that had a mighty beard on his face.
BGM: God of War (God of War 2018)
"Are we in Remnant by any chance?" Sora asked.
"No. I do not know of this Remnant, boy. You are in Midgard."
"Mid what now?" Sora slumped with a sweatdrop, causing Donald to facepalm. "Great, we took a wrong turn again."
"Wak! Sora, do you EVEN know how to use that!"
"Did you when you tried to save me in that exam?" Sora shot back, causing Donald to raise his finger… before lowering it. "Thought so."
"I do not know what you are talking about, but perhaps if you go to one of the other realms, you will find what you are looking for."
"Right… sorry for troubling you, mister… uh…"
"Kratos."
"Right… see you, Kratos!" Sora said as Kratos nodded before turning around with the log in his arm. "Heh, I have to say… he seems like a nice guy."
End BGM
"Let me take that!" Donald said. "If I used it, we could be in Remnant already!" He took the Star Shard as they would fly off before Sora could do anything.
…However…
Sora, Donald and Goofy would stare at a sentient brown sack with a zipper who curiously looked at them before happily waving at them. "Nice going, we're in a different world that is NOT Remnant." Sora sarcastically said. "We're in some… I dunno, is he a Sackkid? Sack… person? I don't know who he is!"
"Wak! Alright then, you use it!" Donald said, handing him back the Star Shard.
Sora closed his eyes, holding the Star Shard close to his heart. "Please… for the love of Kingdom Hearts, just TAKE US TO REMNANT ALREADY!" He yelled as the Star Shard would light up and took them away.
Meanwhile…
"This doesn't make sense… this whole blorb thing is so out of proportion!" Ann exclaimed. "Ryuji got hit and I'm wondering if we could be next! What if all of Shibuya gets hit with it?!"
"That would be a problem…" Yusuke mused. "But I think we should be calm about this. Panic will get us nowhere."
"He's right." Makoto nodded. "If anything, we need to stay calm about this… yes, Ryuji got affected by the blorbs, but I know he'll get through this."
"Ryuji…" Ann teared up as Morgana put a comforting hand on her leg.
"He'll get through it, Lady Ann. He's been through a lot worse."
Ann sniffed. "Yeah." She nodded, when up above, a shooting star suddenly appeared in the sky… but it started zipping around as Sora, Donald and Goofy were screaming.
"Do you hear that?" Morgana wondered as they looked up.
"Is that a shooting star… in broad daylight?" Haru wondered.
"Looks to be kinda drunk." Akira said as the shooting star got closer and closer as it looked like it was about to slam on top of Makoto, but with Akira's quick thinking, he tackled her to the ground
THUD!
"You alright?" Akira asked.
"Yeah, I'm fine." Makoto nodded as they got up and turned to see the dust settling… and saw the trio KO'd on the ground.
"Oh my… are they dead?" Haru wondered, poking Donald and Goofy with a stick.
"That guy… why does he have spiky hair similar to Cloud's?" Ann wondered.
"What's going on here?" A voice asked as Cloud, his friends and Ryu walked out and saw the aftermath as Cloud's eyes widened.
"As I live and breathe…" Cloud said.
"Is that your guy?" Ryu wondered.
"Yup!" Yuffie nodded. "Oh, and he brought his duck and dog friends too!"
Cloud knelt down on the ground, looking directly at the spiky haired guy in front of him and let out a chuckle. "You sure know how to make an entrance… Sora."
And now you know how Sora managed to end up in Remnant!
By the way, Log came to me and suggested this Gaiden to me about how Sora ended up in Remnant in the first place, so... thanks, bud! This was a lot of fun to write!
