Some Time Before Neo Had Found Parfait

Parfait didn't even know how it came to this. She went out of her way to protect the Mario Bros from a spell from Kamek and now she was teleported away from them. To make matters worse… the moment she tried to fly back to Bowser's Castle…

"Got ya!"

She was captured by this evil being… this Iron Masked Marauder, as he calls himself. Why would anyone want to capture anyone for their own benefit… especially considering she was just a Togetic.

"Heh, it's not every day that I come across a Togetic. Heh, I could make good money off of ya… or I could just keep you as a pet. Heh, the things I could do to you…"

"Toge… Toge Toge…!"

"You're not going anywhere." He smirked and then noticed something on her. "Hello, what's this?" He wondered as he pulled out a pendant off of her neck. "Well well, looks like you have an accessory." He mused and read it. "Best friends forever… Parfait, Mario and Luigi."

He let out a smirk. "Seems to me that they're your family, am I correct? Well, I'm sure they won't mind if you were under new ownership." He chuckled darkly. "As of today, you're mine."

"Toge…" Parfait whispered, tearing up at the thought of her being owned by this monster. She saw him grab a collar and placed it around her neck.

"Now… every time you act up, this button will give you a shock of your life. Knowing that you're part Flying type, I'm sure that will hurt. Now, you be a good Pokemon and we'll get along just fine."

This wouldn't do… she had to get out of there. She needed to be with Mario and Luigi again… her family. Not this good for nothing barbarian. She needed to get out of there… and fast.

Unfortunately, things weren't in her favor.

She first tried to make a break for it the moment he opened up her cage. How could he have been so stupid as to not see this coming? She smirked as she was ready to go back to her family… but the moment she got past twenty feet, she hit an electrical barrier. "TOGEEEEEE!"

"That collar also sets up a barrier about twenty feet from the truck. Try as you might, you can't escape." He smirked.

Her next attempt was trying to get the collar off of her, but to no avail. She opened up one of the cage doors with a Psybeam and asked for help to get it off. A Mightyena attempted to pull it off it with its teeth, but the both of them got electrocuted.

"Heh, don't think I know what you're doing. You can't take that off. Now get back in your cage." He said, kicking both the Togetic and the Mightyena down.

Her third attempt was straight up attacking her abuser, but he would dodge all of her attacks with a never disappearing smirk as he electrocuted her again. "Togeeee!"

"Attacking me won't get you anywhere." He said. "I do not understand why you are resisting, this is your new home so you better get used to it." He would then electrocute her again, causing her to cry out in pain.

The worst part of it was when he forced her to attack other innocent Pokemon, such as the time where she was face to face with a severely weakened Makuhita. "Togetic, finish that Makuhita!" He ordered, but Parfait hesitated, looking into the Makuhita's weakened eyes.

"I'm sorry." Parfait's solemn eyes would say to the Makuhita. The Makuhita gave her an understanding nod and glared hard at the Marauder. Parfait would ger a nasty shock right after.

"Do not hesitate. Take it down!" He ordered as Parfait would try to defy him, but all the nasty shocks he had given her was enough to finally make her give in and regrettably attacked the Makuhita with a Psybeam. He would then throw an Ultra Ball at the KO'd Pokemon.

She had been in that hell for a long time, and she longed for her freedom. She longed to be with her family. The fact that Mario and Luigi were still out there somewhere, hoping that they'd find her made her keep going... she wanted to see their bright faces again.

"Hey, would you look at that." The Maruader said as Parfait looked up and saw him holding a Shiny Stone. "Rumor has it that you evolve with such a stone, correct? I wonder if it's true." He smirked as he attempted to give it to her, but she refused. She dodged all the attempts to being forced to evolve... but then he electrocuted her.

"TOGEEEEEEE!" She cried in agony as the Marauder shoved the Shiny Stone at her, and then watching her evolve before his eyes.

"Well, how about that. You actually do evolve from this. Heh. Now you're a Togekiss. I wonder what it'd be like if i were to have an evil Togekiss by my side." He chuckled, as pained tears ran down Parfait's cheeks as she would then see a special Pokeball in his hands. There was an engraved T with two arrows pointing left and right.

"You see this? I made it myself. I know very well that you were captured before... but this special ball, this Transfer Ball. It will automatically capture any currently captured Pokemon. It is only a prototype, but..." He smirked and then tossed it toward the Togekiss, where she went inside the Ball and within three shakes and an unfortunate click, it was a success. The T and the arrows disappeared shortly afterward, becoming a regular Pokeball.

"Hmm, I might need to fix it later but it's a start." He chuckled as he put Parfait's prison on the dashboard of his truck as he drove off.

One particular day, he was driving across a bumpy road on a mountain, causing everything inside the truck to bounce around, and then when he made a left turn, Parfait's Ball bounced out of his window and rolled down the mountain side, then rolled right a nest. A Pidgeotto spotted the ball as it picked it up with its talons and flew off with it, then noticed a Warp Box as it flew down and dropped the Pokeball in it, warping it to a new location.

The Pokeball landed on top of some clouds, high above the Mushroom Kingdom. A Biddybud was playfully kicking some rocks off of the clouds and mistakenly took the Pokeball for a rock and kicked it off the clouds where it free fell toward the ground where it landed on a Parabeetle's shell and bounced off, landing on a few more Parabeetles until it landed gently in the grass.

Inside the ball, Parfait didn't know how long she was in there for... she already had lost track of time when she was in hell with that fiend. Days, weeks, months... maybe years? She couldn't tell... she endured so much suffered for so long, and now she was imprisoned by this Pokeball, but she knew that deep down... she wasn't that monster's Pokemon. She was Mario and Luigi's. Her family.

The next thing she knew... the ball opened up and she was brought outside. She stumbled, but two soft, caring hands grabbed a hold of her. She would look up to see her hero... but she didn't recognize her. Strawberry and chocolate hair, two different colored eyes... she didn't even know who she was, but she could definitely see the concern in her eyes. She would pull out her scroll and texted a friend before she reached out toward her.

Parfait flinched, hoping she wouldn't harm her, but instead she wrapped her wings around her back and took off running. This new person was a lot different than the Marauder... she could sense evil inside of her, but at the same time... she also sensed compassion. Perhaps she wasn't as evil as she turned out to be?

She stopped and gently put her down as she saw another person approaching them. The moment she made eye contact, she came rushing toward her. She looked... gothic? Emo? She couldn't figure out what she looked like. "Toge... Toge..."

"Dear Arceus... Neo, where did you find this poor thing?"

["Just a little ways from here. It was in a Pokeball and it was hurt when I called it out."]

Marnie scowled. "Whoever did this... I hope he rots in the Reversed World." She said, pulling out a Super Potion and gently applied it to Parfait's wounds. At first, it stung as Parfait groaned in pain. "Shhh, it's okay, sweetie... I got ya. No one's hurting you." She said as Parfait looked into her eyes. "It's going to be okay." She said, giving her a reassuring soft smile and kept applying the medicine to her.

Soon, the Super Potion ran out of juice as she put it away and pulled out a new one, gently applying it everywhere. "Do you have an owner?" Marnie asked. "Surely... someone out there is a lot kinder than the one who did this to you."

"Toge..." Parfait nodded.

Marnie smiled. "Then i'll help you find them." She said as she put the Super Potion away. "There, that should do it."

"Toge togi..."

["Thanks, Marnie."] Neo smiled.

"No problem." Marnie smiled back when Neo's scroll went off and read the text message that Roman had sent her. Neo would respond and then put it away.

["Can you take over? I need to go prepare something."]

"Sure. Have fun kicking butt." Marnie winked, with Neo nodding with a smile and then she ran off.

"Toge... Toge Toge..."

"Shhh, it's going to be okay. I'll help you find your owner. Maybe someone in Toad Town might know." She said as she and Parfait went off together, both of them unaware of the adventure they were going to soon find themselves in.

I've been putting off this Gaiden for so long that I finally managed to get around to doing it. At long last... this Gaiden has finally been written!
