While JINX and Co are fighting Bloomsday

Ganondorf sat in a chair, deep in thought while he watched Akira and Yu play a game of chess while also seeing the Ice Climbers, Ness and Lucas were playing a game on the TV. Of course, he wasn't really paying attention all that much.

He closed his eyes, thinking back of how he was ambushed by Fawful and how he was able to fight alongside Bowser and Sephiroth… even though the latter stole his thunder and impaled Fawful before he had the chance to strangle him.

It didn't really bother him that much that he technically helped save the Mushroom Kingdom… but something else seemed to have troubled him.

"In case you hadn't realized, you've caused a lot of trouble for Hyrule." Urbosa's words echoed. "Your legacy lived on in infamy to the point where you became the Calamity."

Calamity.

Something about this word intrigued him. What had happened to him that caused Hyrule to almost fall into ruin?

He must know.

Ganondorf stood up and walked off, the others seeming to ignore him… all except for Young Link who was walking by. "And where exactly are you going?" Young Link asked.

"It does not concern you, boy." Ganondorf responded and continued walking.

"…Whenever he says that… it concerns me." Young Link mumbled as he followed him. Ganondorf shifted his eyes to the side, hearing Young Link follow him. He let out an amused chuckle. Sure, he didn't have the Master Sword on him, but this was the one known as the Hero of Time. A title he begrudgingly respected.

Ganondorf continued walking until he reached the portal. "What secrets lie in the Wild Era…" He wondered and walked in, the Calamity that Urbosa had mentioned had gotten him curious.

Why are you going in that era? Young Link thought, curiously following him… unaware of a certain fabulous sword eyeing the two.

"Hmm… hmhmhmhm~" He chuckled darkly.

At BoTW's Hyrule Castle…

Zelda let out a yawn. "I've been researching all day… I think I deserve some rest." She said, rubbing her eyes as she accidentally bumped into someone in the darkness. "Oh! Sorry about-" Zelda reached for a candleabra and saw Ganondorf in front of her.

"Hello."

With Rhoam

"Zzzzz…"

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Rhoam shot awake. "Zelda?!" He said, immediately springing to his feet and running out of his room where he was joined by Impa, Link and Terrako as they went into the hallway.

"Princess, what's wrong?!" Impa asked and then they saw Ganondorf. "You!"

"Hmph, it seems I've attracted a crowd." Ganondorf smirked and casually turned his back. "Wouldn't you agree, Hero of Time?"

"That seems to be your speciality…" Young Link shrugged.

Link approached Zelda who was on the ground. "You're not hurt, are you?"

"N-no, he just startled me…" Zelda said, holding on to her chest.

"Mr. Dragmire. What is the meaning of scaring my daughter?" Rhoam demanded. "I've heard of your heroics in the Mushroom Kingdom, but that doesn't mean-"

"It's not like I wanted to save the Mushroom Kingdom. I was more interested in the one responsible for ambushing me." Ganondorf smirked.

"That sounds about right." Impa mumbled.

"Even so, what are you doing here anyway?"

"I want to know something." Ganondorf said. "I have been tipped off over something that has intrigued me. I demand to know… why I'm called the Calamity in this era."

"Oh… is that why?" Young Link sweatdropped.

"Hmhmhm~" A dark chuckle echoed through the hallway as they turned to see Ghirahim leaning on a wall. "Why, it seems as if Master Ganondorf wants to know more about the calamity… how he can bring ruin to Hyrule and possibly Remnant."

"Oh wonderful, I thought I smelled something funky in this castle." A voice spoke up as Fi popped out of the Master Sword. "But really, it's just a clown with horrible makeup."

Ghirahim scowled. "Fi. We meet again…"

"Ghirahim." Fi greeted coldly.

Rhoam pinched the bridge of his nose. "So… you want to know more about how you became Calamity Ganon?"

"That is correct. If you would show me to the library, I would be appreciated." He smirked.

Rhoam exhaled. "Ganondorf, you know very well about your reputation here in Hyrule, I cannot just let you roam freely in this castle. You are to be escorted by the Links, Terrako, Zelda and Impa."

"That is fine with me." Ganondorf said, walking off with a chuckle… but stopped as he was parallel to Rhoam. "If I were you, I'd keep a close relationship with the Gerudo… you wouldn't want another repeat of what happened to your ancestor long ago, would you?" He chuckled darkly, as the threat was enough to make Rhoam's skin crawl as he walked off, feeling a scowl from the king himself as he was escorted to the library.

"Let me guess… he said something about you not worrying about it, which caused you to worry about it?" Link asked.

"Yuuup. Got it in one." Young Link nodded.

"Can't say I blame you." Link nodded in understanding as they went into the library.

Ganondorf smirked. "Alright, let's see what I can find about the Calamity." He said, as he started wandering around.

"I can't believe someone like him is interested in his future." Impa mumbled. "Considering we had already destroyed the Calamity."

"I wonder who tipped him off…" Zelda wondered.

"Hmm, come to think of it… the Link to the Past Zelda mentioned something about Ganondorf heading to Gerudo Town before that whole Fawful thing happened." Young Link mused.

"Sounds like Urbosa talked to him." Link said with Terrako booping in agreement as they helped Ganondorf find the book while Ghirahim casually sat on a bookshelf… until eventually, Zelda found it.

"Ah, here it is! The Calamity!" Zelda said as she handed it over to Ganondorf, where he would take it and pulled up a seat at a table and began reading it.

"Now then… time to see what this entails." Ganondorf smirked as he opened up the book.

A long time agothere once was a man named Ganondorf Dragmire. He was the embodiment of Demise's malice. Demise had laid a curse on the Hero of the Skies and his princess, along with himself. His bloodline would one day cause him to wreak havoc on Hyrule and destroy its peace.

"Hmhmhmhm… that sounds about right." Ghirahim smirked. "Master Demise was strong… and his bloodline now lies within Master Ganondorf!"

"Oh, get off of that circus horse." Impa rolled her eyes.

"You mean high horse." Ghirahim corrected.

"I said what I said."

However, as he laid ruin to Hyrule, the Hero of Time had come forth and bested Ganondorf in battle.

"Heh." Young Link smirked, causing Ganondorf to give him the stink eye.

"There is a timeline where I best you in battle. Do not get so cocky." Ganondorf glared as he continued.

That is what the Hero of Time foretold as a young boy, and the young princess known as Zelda believed him, where they had told King Ramsesand in turn, sentenced Ganondorf to be executed at the Arbiter Grounds.

"Rrrgh…" Ganondorf growled before smirking. "I lived."

"Tell us something we don't know…" Young Ling mumbled.

However, during the Twilight EraGanondorf's malice brought him back from the Twili Realm but was killed in battle. However… the tale doesn't end there. After he was killed and laid to rest underneath Hyrule Castle-

"Wait, what?!" Link and Zelda said in surprise.

"Huh?!" Impa said in shock.

-His malice grew restlessit craved revenge and destruction. In time, this malice grew stronger to the point where it gave birth to Calamity Ganon, where it wreaked havoc across Hyrule and decimated everything in its path. However, it was stopped when the Sheikah uncovered the Guardians and they, along with the Divine Beasts… put a stop to Calamity Ganon for a millennia.

Howeverthere was a prophecy that the Calamity would return again.

"Astor…" Link, Zelda and Impa mumbled all at once while Terrako booped lowly.

"My malice and hatred gave birth to this… calamity…" Ganondorf mused, deep into reading.

"Hahahaha! So if you happen to kill Master Ganondorf, his hatred and malice will sprout into a calamity and bring destruction! Hahahaha! Oh, that is rich!"

"Time out! We destroyed the Calamity for good! There is no way-"

"Ah ah ah!" Ghirahim stopped Impa. "Master Ganondorf is right here… and if you were to destroy him, his malice and hatred will spread and will lay ruin to everything. If you kill him in Remnant… it will only bring about ruin! He has the last say, even at his dying breath! Oh, Master Demise will be proud!"

"Oh give me a break, you overgrown sword." Young Link said. "Ganondorf has changed. Sure, he's still arrogant and is still the King of Evil, but he's mellowed out a little."

"Yes, I'm well aware of it. You and that Hand had something to do with Master Ganondorf, but I know that by reading this, he will go back to his ways!"

"…Not interested." Ganondorf said as he was looking into the book, still fascinated over the Calamity.

"WHAT?!" Ghirahim yelled.

"Ha! So much for all that bluster…" Young Link smirked.

"Rrrgh…" Ghirahim glared at Young Link. "You might not be the Link… and the Link in here is this era's version of him, but seeing you here… wearing that same tunic he once wore. It makes me furious! Outraged! SICK WITH ANGER!" He grabbed Young Link by the collar. "And just so you know… I will make it my mission to make your life hell. I'll make EVERYONE'S life hell!"

"Buddy, Majora made my life hell… you don't scare me one bit." Young Link said, prying him off. "In fact, you're nothing more than a sword! What good will you do if you were by Ganondorf? Swords are wielded by their masters… and you're nothing more than a slave to Demise, or was anyway. Even if Ganondorf agreed to wield you… you will still be nothing but a sword. All bark… no bite. Just a lowly grunt."

Ghirahim chuckled darkly. "Who's to say I still remain loyal to Master Ganondorf? I could be loyal to someone else…"

"Even if you wereyou'd still be a grunt. Not just second in command, but a grunt." Young Link pointed out. "A sword being second in command? Give me a break. A clown would make a better second in command than you. In fact, the clown would outrank YOU. Not to mention you're just a pretty boy… but I've seen prettier boys than you."

Ghirahim scowled. "What… did you just say?"

"You heard me. You think you're fabulous? Please… you're just overcompensating over how dull you really are. Face it, Mr. Not-so-fabulous. Your time in the sun is over… and you need to accept that. You're lucky that you're an Assist Trophy, but honestly? You're just yesterday's news."

"SILENCE, you impudent brat! I will have you know that I can catch the Master Sword with the tips of my fingers!"

"Oh, that was you who caught me? I thought it was nothing more than hot air." Fi added.

"Rrrrgh…! You will PAY for this insolence! You will regret making fun of me."

Young Link faked a yawn. "Dude, you're boring me. Go back to the old folk's home where you belong."

Ghirahim's eye twitched. "Oh… you will all rue the day you made fun of me!" He said and disappeared.

"Wow… what's his problem?" Impa asked.

"I wouldn't worry about it. He's old news." Fi responded with a shrug… and then Ganondorf shut the book.

"I am satisfied." Ganondorf said. "It is disturbing how far my dark powers will take me… on the one hand, I get to destroy Hyrule… but at the same time, I did not deserve to go into that dark abomination."

"So, what will you do?" Zelda asked.

Ganondorf smirked. "I will work on letting go of my hatred and malice… it will not be easy, but… I will do everything I can to make sure I will not become the calamity." He said and walked off, disappearing into a dark portal.

"Huh… that seemed to change him a lot more than I had thought." Young Link said.

"Okay! I propose that we do some investigating underneath the castle one day!" Zelda said. "We're gonna need a lot of preparation, just in case something goes south." She said and walked off.

"Princess, don't you need to sleep?" Impa asked.

"I can't sleep! I need answers as to why our ancestors would do such a thing!" Zelda said.

Impa sweatdropped. "Ganondorf, what have you done…"

"Well, we're gonna be here for a while." Link sighed with Young Link and Impa nodding with Terrako booping in agreement.

Meanwhilewith Dimentio…

"Hmm, I have to say… the moon is a lot prettier here than it is in my dimension." Dimentio mused, and then right on cue, Ghirahim appeared near him.

"Little miserable ingrates…" He mumbled.

"Ah, Ghirahim!" Dimentio smiled. "How was your trip?"

Ghirahim turned to glare at him. "Just so you know… I will NOT be outranked by you!" He said and stormed off.

"Hmm? Now where did he get such a silly idea like that?" Dimentio wondered before shrugging. "Eh, no biggie." He said and continued to look at the moon.

Dimentio delivers the burns, Ghirahim receives the burns.
