A Few Hours After MAJC defeated Syrup
BGM: News (Pokemon Colosseum)
"We are reporting live from Diamond City! There has been a major incident here in this grand town of ours. According to witnesses, there was a high speed chase along with a major brawl following the chase. The victim, now known as Syrup, gave us her testimony about her traumatic experience."
"It was awful… I was just minding my own business, saying goodbye to my friend Wario and all of a sudden, the next thing I know, I saw this gang getting into Wario's car and chased after me! I tried to escape, but they drove me off the road and into a tree! I tried to fight back, but they were too much… they stole my valuables in my car after assaulting me… and left without a word."
"Do you know who they were?"
"They had a gang name… they called themselves Team MAJC. But… they did reveal their names. Mona, Anthony, Jen, Camrin, Chloe and Zoey. I want to see justice… I want to see them locked up for their crimes!"
"And there you have it. The police are looking for Team MAJC for Grand Theft Auto, assault and battery, robbery and above all else-"
"Oh turn that shit off, Mona!" Jen requested as Mona turned off the news on her scroll.

"Typical… so this is how she gets her revenge." Camrin said as they were hanging around in Mona's cave home in Vacuo.
"This is just typical for MAJC in general, bro." Chloe pointed out. "All the heists you guys pull and me wondering if you guys are gonna make it out okay…" She sighed. "It's why I go with you guys to be your team medic. I wanted to be a nurse but… hearing my baby bro pulling dangerous heists. It… it worried the hell out of me. That's why I decided to be MAJC's dedicated medic. Do I regret not becoming an official nurse? Of course not… because I would do anything to keep you guys safe, especially you, bro."
"Mistress Chloe, if I may…" Zoey spoke up. "You won't have to take that burden on alone. I'm always here for you two, no matter where that road takes us. Even if it makes us fugitives."
"Eh, laying low is nothing new to me." Anthony said. "This isn't so bad. We lay low for a while, wait for the heat to cool down… and once they forget about us, we're back in business."
"Yeah, and we have all the snacks here. So we can stay in here all we want!" Mona smiled, opening up a bag of chips.
Jen, meanwhile, sighed in annoyance. "I don't get how you guys can stay so chill while everyone has an APB on their heads."
"First time?" Anthony joked.
"Yes, admittedly!" Jen sighed. "It's ironic… the bounty hunter searching for her criminal only to become the hunted. It's crazy…"
"Geez, Jenny… what's your problem?" Mona asked, sitting in a beanbag chair. "It's like hiding away in a cave is a brand new concept for you."
"Well, when you've been the hunter all your life…" Jen mumbled before taking a deep breath. "I don't think I've told any of you about my previous life."
"I've heard bits and pieces… I think." Anthony said.
BGM: Scent of Silence (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories)
"I used to live a noisy childhood… noisy because my neighborhood was riddled with crime. Day after day, there'd be another incident. Oversight was minimal… and the city I lived in didn't give a shit about it. Finally, I had enough… and I decided to do something about it. I convinced myself that if there was no justice around, there should be someone to give it… and thus, I became a vigilante. It also helped that my folks were respected blacksmiths in the area… and they were both targets by criminals. Luckily, these criminals either sucked at their job or were blown sky high. My folks did their best to help their community keep itself safe."
She looked at her team. "I was so sick of criminals that I thought all of them were scum, even something as petty as stealing a wallet, necklace or even a toy car. It's because of this mindset is why I was so hellbent on bringing Anthony to justice. I was so blinded by my mentality that I never realized that his thievery was noble. I originally joined MAJC just so I could get closer to my criminal just so I could form a fake friendship and get the drop on him when his guard was down… I thought it was the perfect idea…"
"So what stopped you?" Zoey asked.
"Delfino." Jen responded. "When Anthony snapped at me… it made me realize how I was so blind. It was a bit of an eye opener really. I even apologized to him later on… now here I am. One of the top vigilantes of my city and now… here we are, hiding from justice. Ain't that a kick in the head."
"Oh wow… that's deep." Camrin said.
"You sure had a difficult childhood, didn't you?" Chloe asked solemnly.
"Indeed… I was one of the lucky ones."
"Damn… so that explains everything." Anthony nodded.
"Yeah. Now here I am in MAJC… having formed genuine bonds with everyone." Jen smiled. "I don't regret it one bit."

"Ah, Delfino… they wouldn't even let me own a single shiny Shine Sprite as a souvenir." Mona pouted. "I mean, I guess this plastic model will do…" She said, pulling out an exact replica of a Shine Sprite. "It's just not the same though! It doesn't have that iconic shine or that wonderful iconic melody when you're next to it!" She sighed, tossing it behind her. "It's a tragedy…"
"Oh, I'm sure you'll find something that'll have that iconic shine." Camrin said.
"I hope. Hopefully I can snag a Shine Sprite when no one's looking… oooh, maybe there's a rogue Shine Sprite in Remnant where it hasn't gone back to Delfino. New life goal, baby!" Mona grinned, causing the siblings to snicker and Zoey to roll her eyes.
Anthony chuckled, then turned his head to see Jen walking to the cave entrance as she sat down next to a wall and looked at the nonstop sandstorm in front of them. Anthony sat up and walked to Jen while the others were chatting.
"It's ironic." Jen said. "A vigilante like me… being hunted by the law all because of that pirate lying through her teeth."
"Eh, it happens to the best of us." Anthony said, sitting down next to her.
"I suppose so. All my life, I hunted down criminals and… well, here I am… a criminal." Jen shook her head. "It's one thing to do shenanigans with you over heists, but to have a bounty on your head? It's so… surreal. I'm not sure how to feel about it."
"Heh, welcome to the thievery business, Jennifer, we've been expecting you." Anthony teased, which earned a playful elbow to his side, both of them chuckling. "Ah, but in any case, I wouldn't worry about it. Happened to me all the time. You lay low, the heat dies down, the public forgets about you, ya do another crime, rinse and repeat."
"Yeah… do you think MAJC will ever be on par with the other teams like RWBY, JNPR, JINX, CFVY, SSSN, ATMC… just to name a few? I mean… we don't have semblances, we don't have aura…"
"Well, we did team up with JINX earlier. Not to mention we helped team RWBY find their team leader in the Galar Region… not to mention helped out Weiss and Blake in the Crown Tundra, so it's not all bad. Let's not forget Delfino too."
"Good point." Jen nodded. "It would help to be more recognized though. Just… not with the unwanted attention like what had happened in Diamond City."
"Yeah… although, it's funny." Anthony said. "Before Nyx gave us a call, I was about to announce that I've heard rumors over a mysterious cave in a place called Dreamland… a place filled with treasures and wonder."
"Dreamland, huh? Isn't that where JINX went off to with CFVY?"
"Yeah. I'm not sure what the cave is called though… I've heard it was a great cave. Can't remember the last bit though."
Jen smirked a bit. "Well, looks like we know what we're doing."
"Yeah… and you know what? To hell with semblances and aura. We can prove to everyone that we don't need a magic shield to protect us from harm or any of those fancy superpowers that everyone has. All we have is our wits… and by golly, that's enough for me. After all, we're an unofficial team… and yet, as cheesy as this sounds, it's official to me."
Jen smiled. "Yeah, we'll show everyone that you don't need those things to get the job done." She then let out a chuckle. "So… a great cave in Dreamland… all of us ragtag group of misfits exploring this wondrous cave. Sounds like fun."
"Yeah, it sure will be."
Jen giggled. "And we'll make the most out of it… my criminal." She smiled, resting her head on his shoulders as he leaned on her head, smiling.
Meanwhile, at the Future Foundation's HQ…
"Hmm…" Kyoko had her arms folded, narrowing her eyes as she was watching the news about the incident in Diamond City. "Something about this witnesses's testimony doesn't feel right. It sounds… fake."
"So what are you gonna do about it?" Aoi asked, munching on a doughnut.
"I'll be back. I need to do a little investigating." Kyoko said as she walked off. Something about Syrup's testimony, not to mention a manhunt for team MAJC. Something about it did not sit well with her.
And she was going to get to the bottom of it.
MAJC: The Great Cave Offensive. Has a nice little ring to it, no?
