While SPBRR Went to Puzzle Plank…

An Emolga flew over to a berry tree. "Emah!" The Emolga smiled as it landed on the ground and picked off a Pinap berry. "Emah mah!" It grinned.

"Skwo! Skwo!" A Skwovet hopped off a branch and raised its fist angrily at the Emolga. "Skwovet Skwo!"

"Mah Mah Mah." The Emolga sassed.

"SKWO!"

Unbeknownst to the two of them, Sonia was busy studying the two. "Interesting… it seems that Skwovet isn't particularly fond of that Emolga." She said as she was busy jotting down notes. "I wonder if we'll see a battle between these two…"

Unknown to her, someone snuck up behind her with a cheeky smirk. "What am I saying, of course we'll be seeing it. That Emolga's been making that Skwovet angry the past few days." Sonia rolled her eyes.

Hands immediately slammed onto Sonia's shoulders. "BOO!"

"AAAAAAAAAH!" Sonia yelped, immediately falling forward. "Mmph!" She grunted as she turned her head and saw Nessa behind her giggling. "Gah, holy Miltank, Nessa… thanks for the heart attack!"

Nessa giggled. "Oh, you're welcome." She said as Sonia stood up.

"I thought you were still doing that modeling shoot today."

"Oh, we got done earlier than expected so I have a lot of free time now." Nessa explained.

"Oh? Awesome!" Sonia smiled.

"By the way, I've heard something on my way over here. Apparently someone from Kalos is heading their way over here."

"Kalos?!" Sonia asked in surprise. "Oh my heavens, I've always wanted to go there! I've heard it's beautiful!"

"I've been there once. Unfortunately it was when that Lysandre idiot nearly destroyed the entire region. And all because I wanted to have a swim in the ocean!"

"Ooooh, I've heard about him. I wonder how he's doing?"

"As far as I know, he's probably six feet under. Rumor has it Zygarde got involved."

"Yeah, that'd probably do it." Sonia rubbed her head. "Where do you think this Kalosian is going to be visiting?"

"Heard they were going to land in Stow-on Side of all places." Nessa said.

"Bea's territory? Huh… well, let's go pay her a visit then!" Sonia said and with a nod, the two of them found a Corviknight Taxi as they flew off to Stow-On Side.

"So, who do you think is it gonna be?" Nessa asked.

"I've heard Viola's doing pretty well with her photography business. Maybe she's wanting to take some pictures of Galar." Sonia said.

"Could be Clemont with his newest invention." Nessa guessed.

"Ew, no!" Sonia sighed. "The future is now, thanks to science!" Gah, it gets so annoying when you decide to see what's going on in the other regions and you see them talking about "Clemont's newest invention". That guy's catchphrase was cute at first, but got annoying REAL quick."

"…Yeah, that's the only bad thing about him." Nessa agreed. "Oh! How about Valerie?"

"Mmph!" Sonia shuddered. "No thank you! Those eyes are creepy!"

"Yeah, good point…" Nessa agreed.

"Olympia?"

"Hmm, possibly… oh! Possibly Diantha!"

"No no no, wait… I got it!" Sonia grinned. "Professor Sycamore!"

Nessa's eyes sparkled. "That dreamboat? Oh absolutely!"

"Dibs~!"

"What?! Oh, no way, sister. I had my eyes on him first!"

Sonia playfully stuck her tongue out. "In your dreams."

"Says the woman who's dating Leon."

"I can have a harem, can't I?" Sonia winked before both women started laughing.

"I cannot believe you just said that." Nessa giggled, playfully punching her on the shoulder.

"I can't believe I said it with a straight face." Sonia said, playfully nudging Nessa.

"Whoever this Kalosian is… I'm sure they'll be fine whoever they are."

"Yup." Sonia nodded.

At Stow-on Side, specifically Bea's gym…

BGM: Battle! Kalos Gym Leader (Pokemon Masters)

"Alright!" Raihan started. "The battle between the Fighting Gym Leader of Galar vs the Fighting Gym Leader of the Kalos Region is about to begin!" He exclaimed, raising his hand up in the air as Bea had her Machamp out while Korrina had her Lucario out. "Fighters ready!"

Bea and Korrina got in their battle stances, as did Machamp and Lucario.

Raihan threw his arm down. "FIGHT!"

"Hup!" Korrina immediately Mega Evolved her Lucario as it would run over to Bea's Machamp, the latter jumping over and slugging it but Lucario would grab a hold of its fist with its paw, and while those two were going at it, Bea lunged over to Korrina, the latter doing the same but using her roller skates to gain speed as she jumped up and did a graceful spin above Bea, landing on the ground behind her as she skated toward her and punched her but Bea would duck and deliver an uppercut to Korrina's chin, sending her up in the air but Korrina recovered and landed gracefully while Bea lunged and used a haymaker on her.

Korrina would backflip to avoid the haymaker as she skated toward Bea and delivered a hi jump kick, but Bea grabbed her foot and flipped her to the ground but Korrina caught herself with her hands and sweep kicked Bea to the ground, but even Bea caught herself with her hands as she sprang up and blocked a punch from Korrina, where she twisted her arm and then Palm Striked her, sending her back a few feet as Bea would lunge at Korrina and used a right hook, but Korrina would block this and delivered a strike of her own, but Bea weaved her head and flip kicked her.

"Mmph!" Korrina grunted as she shook it up, smirking as she did a "come at me" gesture at Bea, the latter chuckling and charged at Korrina, all the while Nessa and Sonia walked in on the stands.

"Oh! Korrina? How did we not think of her?" Sonia blushed sheepishly.

"I dunno." Nessa shrugged as they sat down next to Allister who was watching. "So who's winning?"

"I… I'm not sure. Come on, sis! You got this!" Allister cheered Bea on, the latter getting roller blades into her chest as Bea took a step back as Korrina skated toward her and then jumped up to roundhouse kick Bea but she would duck and then grabbed Korrina's other leg and slammed her into the ground, then Bea got on top of Korrina and pinned her down, raising her arm up but Korrina kicked her off and then delivered a one two punch, only for Bea to block with her arms and then countered by slugging Korrina hard into her gut.

"Gah!" Korrina grunted as she hunched over, giving Bea a clear shot for a swift knee strick to her chest and then kicked her in the knee before roundhouse kicking her in the face to knock her down. She would immediately turn her head to see her Machamp, despite being bruised, and pummeled Korrina's Lucario to the ground.

"We have a winner! Bea and her Machamp!" Raihan exclaimed as Bea high fived her Machamp as Sonia, Nessa and Allister hopped off of the bleachers, with the latter being helped down by Nessa as they approached Bea… but then Korrina got back up, a shadow cast over her eyes as she roller skated over to Bea.

"Whoa, heads up!" Nessa exclaimed as Bea turned to Korrina, the latter letting out a loud yell… before she immediately glomped her.

"That was a fun battle, Bea-kins~!"

"BEA-KINS?!" Sonia, Nessa, Allister and even Raihan nearly fell over.

Bea chuckled. "I… have some explaining to do."

"How about we explain this over at Hulbury? We can have some of those sweets over at the restaurant." Nessa said.

Bea's eyes sparkled. "Oh Arceus yes~!"

Once at Hulbury…

"Right, so… how do I explain this?" Bea began, taking a bite of a chocolate cake. "About a few weeks ago, I decided to go visit Kalos and see what it's like over there."

"How was it?" Nessa asked.

"It was quite beautiful, honestly. Might give Galar a run for its money."

"Augh, traitor!" Sonia teased.

Bea chuckled. "Anyway, I was over in Lumiose City admiring the sights, watching people ride on Gogoats and well… I wasn't looking where I was going and needless to say, this dork crashed right into me."

"I really shouldn't have been texting while roller skating…" Korrina sheepishly rubbed her head. "None of us were paying attention."

"Heh, so let me guess, you two had an accidental first kiss?" Raihan teased, earning an elbow from Nessa.

"That only happens on TV, doofus." Nessa said, causing Raihan to laugh.

"Well, no, but we were in a compromising position." Bea blushed. "I'm not normally the one who gets pinned down."

"Oooh, pinned down by the skater girl… not a good look, Bea." Sonia teased.

"I apologized right after and well, I went to make it up for her by giving her something sweet." Korrina explained.

"Something sweet? Aha! She immediately fell in love with you because you went straight for her sweet tooth!" Nessa guessed.

"Yes, that's exactly it." Bea said with a straight face.

"What?! That's it?!" Korrina gave her a puppy dog face.

"You make it too easy." Bea teased.

"Oh, you're awful!" Korrina slugged her in the shoulder with a playful smirk.

"So after that, we hit it off, she gave me the grand tour of Kalos, we headed back to her home town in Shalour City where I stayed there for a couple of days… we became fast best friends, I showed her a picture of Allister-"

"Uh-huh… just "friends"?" Raihan smirked.

"I did ask her out…" Korrina admitted. "To be fair, it was on accident. I didn't mean to blurt it out but gah, come on! She's so pretty! I'm surprised no one asked her out before!"

"Oh, people have… but mostly they were just people who wanted a girl to be a damsel in distress so they can come to their rescue." Bea mumbled. "You know, those assholes."

"Some guys dumped me because they hated that I'm a "tomboy". Excuse me for having an interest in rollerskating." Korrina mumbled.

"I'm gonna be honest, I did not know you swung both ways." Nessa admitted.

"I like to keep my options open." Bea said, taking a swig of her drink.

"That's fair." Nessa chuckled.

"So anyway, our first date was pretty much at a coffee shop at Lumiose. We just hung out, talked the day way-"

"And it was pretty much a rockin' first date~!" Korrina wrapped her arm around Bea, giving her a quick peck on the cheek.

"Aww, adorable!" Sonia smiled.

"And you know what's even more adorable than Bea-kins? Her brother. He's just so stinkin' cute behind that mask… I could just pinch those cute little cheeks!"

"Wait, he's more adorable than me?" Bea asked in surprise.

"You're both equally adorable." Korrina winked at her. "Consider that payback."

Bea rolled her eyes. "Oh you."

"Um… thank you…" Allister blushed behind the mask.

"Well, you two look rather cute together." Sonia smiled. "Man, I can't wait to see the look on Gloria's face when she comes back. Oh, Hop and Bede too."

"Don't forget Marnie." Nessa pointed out. "Oh, and Piers!"

Raihan chuckled. "They've come a long way."

"Where… are they, exactly?" Allister asked.

"As far as I know, they went up to space." Sonia said. "Something about a… war, I think. I wasn't paying that much attention to the news."

"Personally, I think Marnie and Piers got caught up on the wrong side." Raihan said as they all looked at him. "Oh? You didn't know? I'll tell ya later."

"By the way." Korrina spoke up. "Do you have any beaches here?"

"Well… there's one place that's a good spot." Nessa said.

At Isle of Armor…

"Wooooow! It's beautiful!" Korrina exclaimed, starring out into the ocean and the island itself and then grabbed Bea's arm. "Come on, Bea-kins, we're going exploring~!" She said and then roller skated away.

"Whoa!"

"Alright, spill it. What's going on?" Nessa asked.

"Okay, so… apparently there's something going on with Remnant. There's this whole blue goo thing that I think was called Phazon. It infects anything that touches it. These Space Pirates that go by Ridley and Dark Samus had corrupted Bowser and a good chunk of the Koopa Troop. The ones who weren't infected… I'm not sure who was spared, but Marnie and Piers were two of them. Gloria, Hop, Bede and a majorly good chunk of their friends went off to space to try to put a stop to this whole mess… because Dark Samus and Ridley had declared war on the universe and are spreading the poison around, infecting anything they get their mitts on."

"My word!" Sonia exclaimed, her hands over her mouth.

"That's awful."

"And that's not the worst part." Raihan said as he pulled out his Rotom Phone. "Check out this conversation I had with Piers." He said, showing the women the texts.

Yo, dude… you need anything? Seems like y'all need a hug once this is over. - Raihan

If only that was possible at the moment. Those assholes stationed me and Team Yell at this galaxy called Boulder Bowl. Marnie's here too, but she's in a different planet right now. Something about fighting a Rollodillo or something. - Piers

Yeesh, man… what'd they ever do to you?

I'm not sure what the hell their deal is, but I'd rather be anywhere but here right now.

"He cut you off?" Nessa asked.

"Pretty much." Raihan nodded.

"Oh, that's awful." Sonia whispered and then noticed a text popping in. "…Uh, bud? Piers is screaming right now."

"Huh?" Raihan turned his phone around.

SHIT, THIS IS BAD

Raihan raised an eyebrow and started to call Piers, immediately putting him on speaker.

"Hello?"

"Yo, Piers. What's going on, man? By the way, you're on speaker phone. Nessa and Sonia are with me."

"Hi!" The girls greeted.

"It's awful… this is worse than I ever imagined."

"What's wrong?"

"We just heard back from the Goomba Squad. An entire area has been hit with Phazon. Several galaxies have been infected!"

"What do you mean? What's going on?!" Sonia asked.

"Sky Station Galaxy, Yoshi Star, Spin Dig, Fluffy Bluff, Flip Swap… a Fiery Flotilla… all of them have been corrupted by Phazon!"

"Wait, WHAT?! A whole GALAXY got poisoned by this?!" Nessa exclaimed.

"Not only that, but they've heard that previous galaxies have been hit by this too. Good Egg Galaxy all the way to Melty Molten. And you want to know the best part?"

"I'm afraid to ask…" Sonia grimaced.

"According to Kamek, these galaxies were made by Lumas… these cute little star creatures. They transform into these galaxies and they've been infected. I can just imagine how their mother is reacting to this news…"

"Oh my Arceus…" Raihan whispered.

"What's worse is that Remnant had already been hit with Phazon, but Kamek wouldn't be surprised if all of Remnant gets corrupted… and I have a feeling things are about to get worse."

"Anything we can do to help?" Nessa asked.

"Stay where you are! You shouldn't be involved… there's no way you're going to last with this Phazon messing with everyone's bodies. Chances are… I would not be surprised if our world is about to get hit with Phazon."

"Shit…" Raihan whispered.

"We'll hold off as long as we can… but if you see Phazon in your world. RUN. You can't stop it… and these Space Pirates will do anything to infect every last planet they can. I'll talk to you later." He hung up.

"Well, what the hell are we gonna do?! We can't just sit back and do nothing!" Sonia said.

"We need all hands on deck." Nessa said. "Fighting trainers, Psychic trainers… the champions… Hell, we NEED Cynthia for this! We need to defend our world and all the regions! Get all the Legendaries involved too!"

"…We just need a miracle to happen." Raihan quietly said.

Nessa closed her eyes. "Arceus, spare us from this chaos that's going on…"

With Bea and Korrina…

"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Bea smiled, the girls sitting next to each other on the beach with Allister between them.

"Yeah, it is." Korrina smiled.

"I just realized that… some day, I'm gonna have two sisters." Allister said, looking off into the distance as the girls looked at each other with a giggle as the two of them leaned forward and kissed him on the cheeks, causing him to blush a deep red.

"Oh, let's not rush things, sweetie." Bea said, ruffling his hair as the girls leaned their heads on each other while wrapping their arms around Allister, all of them looking at the sunset together.

I'm gonna be honest, I don't really watch the Pokemon anime anymore. I see a few clips now and then, but that's about it. That said, when Jacob shared a screenshot of Korrina and Bea in the latest Pokemon Journeys episode, I went "Really? Those two are best friends? Cool!" and then I looked at it more closely and went "...Huh, could they be teasing a ship between these two?" and as my friends and I were discussing it, I thought "Ya know what? They're so cute together. I never thought i'd be shipping Bea with Korrina, of all people. Let's make it happen in a Gaiden!"
