Before Marnie's Fight With Gloria
"So… I guess we'll be fighting whoever we'll be fighting here in this galaxy, I take it." Marnie said.
"Apparently so." Piers nodded.
"Mmm, I'm sure it's not all bad." Marnie said, deciding to lean on a rock pillar. "I will say, I think it's a bit overkill to have my entire fanbase over." She said, glancing over at some Yell grunts attempting to stomp a Chomp from rolling by, only to get comically crushed by the Chomp.
"We're okay!"
"Blegh, I got mud in my mouth!"
"Eh, what can you do?" Piers shrugged, then a dark portal opened up as Dark Samus walked out. "And what the hell do you want?" He glared, putting his hand out in front of Marnie.
"Marnie, I need you to go to the next planet over."
"Why should I?"
"It's so your friends wouldn't expect you of all people to hold a Power Star in your hands."
Piers snarled. "You're going to make her a target… I know what those guys are like and I'm sure-"
"Piers, it'll be alright." Marnie said. "I'm a lot stronger than I was before, so it shouldn't be too bad… hopefully. Besides, I knew what I signed up for the moment I declared my loyalty to the Koopa Troop. So I'll get roughed up, big deal. I'll just lick my wounds and still be friends with those knuckleheads. After all, I'm both loyal to the Mushroom Kingdom and the Koopa Troop."
"Hmph, and you are also loyal to the Space Pirates."
Like hell I am/she is. Marnie and Piers both thought at the same time.
"Right… of course." Marnie rolled her eyes. "Alrught, see you on the next planet. Try not to do anything stupid, bro."
"Pfft, yeah right…" Piers chuckled as Marnie walked off, pressing a button on her metal arm as her motorbike came to her via portal as she hopped on before switching it to the hoverboard, then she flew over to the Cage Planet.
Piers would immediately glare at Dark Samus right after. "I don't know what your deal is, but if you even think about laying a corrupted finger on my sister, I swear-"
"You'll do what?"
"I'll do the same thing I did with that idiot that took my sister's arm and eyes. Only ten times worse."
"That fool was weak." Dark Samus said. "If I had my way, I would have corrupted him with Phazon. It would've amused me if he were to take over the Mushroom Kingdom for a day."
"He still would have fallen. His tunnel vision was his downfall."
"True, but it would've made for a good laugh." Dark Samus walked off. "You and your electric guitar will do nothing to me." She said and disappeared in a portal.
"Tch… bitch." Piers mumbled under his breath.
"Lord Piers!" A voice called out as Piers turned his head to see the Goomba Squad coming to them via riding on Captain Boo.
"Oh hey runts, what's up?"
"We heard terrible news." Captain Koopa said. "The previous galaxy the heroes have been to have been corrupted by Phazon."
"THEY WHAT?!" Piers yelled. "Last I heard, RIghtside Down Galaxy was the only one corrupted!"
"Apparently, they did more… and that's not all. In the hero's previous intergalactic adventure, the previously Galaxies have been corrupted as well."
"…Shit… this is bad…" Piers growled, picking up his Rotom phone. "I didn't sign up for this kind of war!"
At the Cage Planet…
Marnie hopped off her hoverboard, quickly dismissing it. "A little barren to my liking, but I'm sure I can entertain myself until one of those knuckleheads shows up." She said.
She would suddenly hear the sound of snoring as she turned her head to see Rollodillo sleeping peacefully. "Oh, it seems I'm not alone." Marnie mused as she stared at it. "Aww, it's so cute." She giggled. "I guess I have myself an ally."
"It appears you are not alone." Dark Samus emerged from a dark portal. "How interesting… it's so cute and fluffy."
"Indeed." Marnie smiled.
"It disgusts me."
Marnie rolled her eyes. "Oh, lighten up… assuming you know what "lighten up" means in your vocabulary."
"We can't have this abomination rolling around in the universe."
"Have you looked in a mirror lately?" Marnie snarked. "But if you don't like it, just turn it into phazon or whatever. See if I care."
"It will be useless if I corrupted it with Phazon. Destroy it."
"What?!" Marnie exclaimed. "Nuh-uh, I'm not destroying that adorable creature!"
"You require motivation then. Perhaps if I corrupted you or your Pokemon-"
"No!" Marnie protested before sighing. "Alright… I'll do it." She said as she aimed her metal hand at it, going into arm cannon mode as she aimed at Rollodillo's face. "Sorry, big guy…" She whispered as she started to charge up.
…But she couldn't bring herself to harm it.
Dark Samus chuckled. "You're too kind for your own good." She said as she fired a Phazon Super Missile at the creature, hitting it directly in the face, causing Marnie to gasp in horror as Rollodillo woke up right as Dark Samus disappeared into a dark portal, making it believe it was Marnie's doing.
"Wait… I can explain! It wasn't my doing!" Marnie said, her hand coming out of the arm cannon. "Really, I'm innocent! It wasn't me!"
Unfortunately, Rollodillo let out a roar and charged at the punk.

Boulder Armadillo - Rollodillo
Marnie quickly dodged the charge from Rollodillo as he screeched to a halt and turned around, tackling Marnie as she had her arms out in front of her, where she slid a few feet while holding on to him. "Come on… it's not me who attacked you!" She said but Rollodillo pushed her hard enough that knocked her on her butt as it raised its entire body to attempt to trample her but she quickly rolled out of the way, narrowly avoid getting squished by him.
"Look, if we can just talk this out and act like civilized people, we wouldn't have to fight each other!" Marnie said but Rollodillo didn't want to hear it. "Come on, communication saves lives! Work with me here!" She pleaded as Rollodillo charged at her, forcing Marnie to dodge.
It was clear to her that Rollodillo wasn't wanting to hear things, where she let out a sad sigh. "Alright, if I have to knock you out just so you can listen to me… so be it." She said, summoning her Punk Claws. "Sorry about this, big guy." Rollodillo charged at her and tackled her, but Marnie rolled out of the way and looked at his furry butt as she rushed ahead and slashed at him from behind before having her metal arm go into its arm cannon mode and shot a fiery blast at him.
Rollodillo yelped and turned around, snarling at her as it kicked its front foot back, as if it was getting ready to charge at her. "We don't have to do this." Marnie told him as Rollodillo curled up into a ball and rolled toward her, forcing Marnie to dive out of the way as Rollodillo sprung out of his ball, a little dazed. Now's my chance.
Pause BGM
She quickly ran toward the dazed armadillo and got in front of him, gently putting her hand on his cheek. "Come on… look at me… would I really want to kill something as cute as you?" She asked as the Rollodillo would snap out of its daze and looked at Marnie's kind pleading eyes. "That's it… just look into my eyes…" She gave him a cute smile.
"Do not listen to her, kind creature." A voice spoke up as Dark Samus levitated toward the two. "She was the one who mercilessly attacked you in your sleep. She shot you with this missile." She held up a Phazon Missile in her hand. "She's only trying to lower your guard so she will kill you when you least expect it."
"No!" Marnie exclaimed as Rollodillo glared at Marnie. "Listen to me, I would never-" The Rollodillo bit down on Marnie's metal hand and tossed her to the side, letting out a roar as Marnie got up, shaking off the slobber on her metal arm. Damn that bitch!
Resume BGM
Rollodillo rolled toward Marnie, where she'd quickly use Farore's Wind to teleport behind Rollodillo where he stopped and slid, before falling over dazed. Maybe if I just paralyzed him to calm him down… granted, I'm not sure if this would actually paralyze him but it's worth a shot! She thought, electricity being charged up from her arm cannon and shot him dead center in the butt, which was enough to shock him but it didn't paralyze it as he turned around and rolled toward Marnie.
Well, it was worth a try! She thought as she dove from the first attack, but Rollodillo turned around and rolled toward Marnie right as she was getting up, and immediately getting bulldozed right over. "Aaagh!" She grunted as she immediately pulled out a Hyper Potion and sprayed herself to heal herself up. Rollodillo turned around and charged at her again, but Marnie used Farore's Wind to dodge the attacks until Rollodillo found himself dizzy again as Marnie would freeze his legs up with the ice magic before she lunged ahead and her fist caught into flames.
"Forgive me…" She said as she used a fiery uppercut on his chin to knock him on his back, dazing him even further, then she climbed up on his stomach. "Okay, hopefully this will calm you down." She said as she started to rub his belly to try and calm him down… but a massive Phazon-like sword impaled through him. "NO!" She screamed as Dark Samus appeared on the belly.
End BGM
"Well done, Marnie." Dark Samus said, placing her hand on Rollodillo and disintegrating the body until only the Power Star remained. "There, now you can fight the heroes all by yourself."
BGM: Dark Samus Approaching (Metroid Prime 2: Echoes)
Marnie stared at the Power Star, clenching her fists and trembling in anger. "What are you…" She turned around, tears swelling in her eyes. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!" She snapped.
"What's wrong? You wanted to do a galactic conquest, didn't you?"
"Not with YOU! If I wanted to do an intergalactic conquest, I'd be doing it by Lord Bowser's side, NOT YOU."
"Ah, but Bowser has done it incorrectly. Do you not remember the universe imploding? We're showing him how to properly do it."
"By what, corrupting everything with Phazon and corrupting entire galaxies?! Invading galaxies and planets is one thing, but corrupting them with your poison?!"
"That's how you do conquest. You corrupt them all and they will obey you without question, then more planets and galaxies will be corrupted. No unnecessary homemade galaxies that will implode and create a black hole that's more dangerous than a Supermassive Black Hole. I am making Bowser see what he could've done."
"By making him and all of the Koopa Troop your slave!"
"Not all of the Koopa Troop." Dark Samus turned to Marnie. "There's still a few loose ends."
Marnie snarled. "Bitch, if you think you're going to corrupt me with your poison, you're dead wrong. If you THINK you're going to win this war, you're wrong. They'll come for you and they will put a stop to you."
"I wonder how well that'll work when I have Phazon all over Remnant? Surely their morale will suffer greatly." She would hear Marnie let out a chuckle. "What's so funny?"
"You are so so dumb. You honestly think just a few patches of Phazon would be enough to corrupt all of Remnant? Don't make me laugh. As far as I'm concerned, people will just walk around it and go about their day as if nothing happened. Yeah, you corrupted the Grimm, the Heartless, the monsters from Erdrea, some Rathalos, Rathians, and other kinds of monsters, but guess what? They can be taken out by the huntsman and huntresses of Remnant, so as far as I'm concerned…" She smirked. "You're nothing. You lost this war right as it begun. Yeah, you corrupted a few galaxies and even corrupted the Koopa Troop, but I know someone's making a cure to turn this around."
Marnie approached Dark Samus until she was close to her. "Guess what? You've lost… and I'm going to enjoy watching you writhe in despair about your pitiful attempt of corrupting this galaxy. You've already lost to Samus twice in your pathetic phazon-filled life. You're about to have a third defeat on your resume and I will enjoy watching Samus beat your ass to the ground. And I'll savor every minute of it."
"Hmmhmmhmmhmm… HAHAHAHAHA!"
"You laugh. Heh, I guess you really are arrogant."
"And you're just a naive teenager." Dark Samus said. "You honestly think those patches of Phazon will just lie there when everyone can simply walk around it? My phazon has evolved… I've perfected it to the point where a single patch of phazon can spread out like wildfire." She said as Marnie's eyes widened in horror. "And I've commanded it to spread across Remnant. There's nothing you can do to stop it… and even if I'm defeated, I will still win the end. Humanity, as we know it, is about to meet their end. Once the Phazon gets to them, it's game over. And if you think I might still lose… may I remind you that I corrupted the Goddess of Nature. Hmph, I can corrupt Gods. So your precious God of Pokemon will be no match for me either."
Marnie backed up. "No… no, you're lying. You would NEVER-"
"Oh, but I would."
Marnie clenched her fists. "How low are you willing to go… I would NEVER side with scum like you!"
"And yet, you sided with Bowser, which I should remind you that he's done evil things in the past. That does not make you a good guy."
"At least Lord Bowser has a heart. I'd rather be loyal to him AND the Mushroom Kingdom."
"But your "Lord Bowser" is working for the Space Pirates now, so technically, you're working with him. You would rather be loyal to the Mushroom Kingdom even if you kidnapped Peach?"
"If I had kidnapped Peach, I'd take her to Bowser and not hand her to a monster LIKE YOU!" She yelled when she would spot a comet flying above them. "…A comet?" She wondered, noticing it was a rainbow comet as a few Rainbow Stars appeared on the ground and several Crabbers popped up as well.
"Oh hey, looks like you get to take two Power Stars for the taking." Dark Samus said as Marnie turned to Dark Samus with a growl. "But, if you want to prove you are not loyal to me, then give me your best shot." She opened up her arms as Marnie's metal hand burst into flame as she lunged at her and fire punched her, but Dark Samus disappeared at the last second as Marnie's fist slammed into the planet, creating a massive shockwave that destroyed all the Crabbers, releasing another Power Star.
"Typical humans. They don't really think straight when they lose their temper." Dark Samus said as Marnie turned to her, glancing over at a Rainbow Star as she quickly grabbed it and glared at her, but Dark Samus had turned her head toward the Starting Planet.
"Look at me…" Marnie growled, the blade coming out of her metal arm. "LOOK AT ME. I'd rather you look me into the eyes while I impale the hell out of you!"
"My my, the heroes have come." She said.
"Good. They can back me up." Marnie approached Dark Samus, but she aimed her hand at Marnie, phazon conjuring in her hands without even looking.
"You have a choice, Marnie. You either fight the heroes or you fight the heroes whilst corrupted."
"Oh, I'll fight them… on my own terms." Marnie said. "If it means attempting to stop them from stopping Lord Bowser's plans, then I'll gladly do it."
"Would that include fighting the Champion of Galar?"
Marnie gasped. "Gloria… she's… she's here?!"
"Along with that Team Skull guy. None of them concern me, however… I wonder how far you'll go into taking out your best friend. Or… perhaps she's something more to you? Either way, take her out. Gut her like a fish if you have to."
"No… no, I'd rather no-"
"Either you take her out on your own, or maybe I'll give you a boost." Dark Samus threatened. "Maybe I won't corrupt you first… but perhaps I'll start with your Pokemon. Your Morpeko looks like she'll be the perfect candida-"
"SHUT UP!" Marnie yelled desperately. "I'll do it… I'll take her out on my own terms. But I'm not going to corrupt myself into your poison."
"That's a good girl." Dark Samus opened up a dark portal. "Don't disappoint me now. I'll be watching." She said and disappeared into it.
End BGM
As soon as she left, Marnie collapsed on her knees, trembling in rage. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" She screamed in frustration and punched the metal planet with her metal arm in frustration. "I HATE HER! ALL OF THEM!" She screamed, frustrated tears rolling down her cheeks.
Marnie wiped the tears from her eyes, noticing Gloria finding the Launch Star at the previous planet as she stood up and took a deep breath. "Here goes nothing…"
