Minutes After Dimentio Met Seryu

"Mmm…" Adam had his arms folded. "So you're saying the Albain Brothers went missing?"

"That is correct." One of the Crimson Fang members nodded. "They've been trying to draw Sienna Kahn out for some time but they went radio silent. We haven't heard from them in a while."

"If I were to wager a guess, their communication devices were destroyed. Mmm, they'll be alright. I doubt anything horrible has happened to them." Adam shrugged. "Anyway, I'm pretty certain Seryu is back from her mission, hopefully successful."

"Ahahahaha! I wouldn't count on it being successful."

"Who said that?" Adam reached for his weapon. "Show yourself."

Dimentio appeared in front of him, with Seryu near him. "Hello!"

"And who are you? What are you doing with Seryu?"

"Who am I? I'm the pleaser of crowds, the master of illusions… I am… Dimentio! Remember the name well."

"Can't say I've heard of you."

"Let's just say I'm a newcomer to this dimension. Hmhmhmhm~"

"To this dimension…?"

"Don't worry your pretty little head about it!" Dimentio smiled. "Anywho, as for your other question about Seryu, well… she was successful in finding that band. The problem was, she came into contact with the rest of Team RWBY. Little miss bombshell who has mommy issues and a red head that has my interest. Of course, I did notice the ice queen having a panic attack but that's not important right now."

"Tch… Team RWBY. Of course they didn't make it easy." Adam mumbled. "Whatever, we'll take them down. You don't have to be sad, Seryu… we'll get them eventually. We learn from our mistakes."

"Yeah, I know…"

"So!" Dimentio grinned. "You might be wondering why I'm here in your fine establishment… if you call outside an establishment. Seriously, you only have tents?"

"It's how we roll." Adam said.

"I see. You go for tents but not huts. Surely, you could do something a bit warmer in this winter season, but hey, I'm not judging. If you want to freeze to death because it builds character or whatever, that's fine with me."

"What do you want?" Adam demanded.

"Ah, yes, you see… I've heard a lot about you. In fact, my colleague has heard alot about you too. There's absolutely no way no one in Remnant has heard about your deeds, and how you take charge of these creatures." Dimentio said, teleporting over to the cages. "My my my, you've done impressive work on these creatures. Slimes, Drackies, Bongo Bangos… whatever the case, you've branded them all! And that's not counting these other monsters."

Dimentio teleported toward the Glavenus. "My my, he's a rather imposing creature!"

"We recently captured a few other monsters like this. An Anjanath, a Pukei Pukei and what have you."

"Fascinating!" Dimentio teleported back. "So, I have a proposition for you."

"Okay…"

"I can power you up, give you an edge that you need to destroy those nonsensical do-gooders for good… give you more power, magic, anything you need within your wildest dreams!"

"What's the catch?"

"Ah, you catch on quick! All you have to do is swear loyalty to Emperor Bowser. Imagine the damage the Emperor can cause when they have an army of the Crimson Fang!"

"We don't work with humans."

"Ahahahahaha, I can assure you, I'm no human. I may look human because I turned myself into one when crossing between dimensions, but I can assure you, I used to be a paper thin magician."

"Aren't magicians and humans the same thing?"

"Clearly, you've never played an MMO." Dimentio snarked. "For our cause, we have a washed up skeleton of an emperor, we have a sentient blade that claims he's fabulous, but I've seen drag queens more fabulous than him, we got a Grimm hybrid that's hellbent on destroying Ruby Rose, which I will have to say… she's not worth much. We also have a Goddess of Death by our side… though, I think she might be Goddess of Snakes, but Death sounds better for her… then you have me!"

"So, you don't have humans."

"Precisely!" Dimentio grinned. "Doesn't that sound fun? You declare your loyalty and give Emperor Bowser access to the Crimson Fang, and I give you amazing powers. Just imagine the chaos you can do if you, oh, I don't know, summon the Grimm to your beck and call. You can make anything you desire with just a snap of your fingers. And even if you were to perish, I would be able to ensure that you would be able to return to the mortal plane and continue what you started."

"Hmm…" Adam folded his arms, deep in thought.

"Plus, you could get back at that kitty cat for defying you. That Keyblade Wielder might need to be taught a lesson as well, depending on how much she annoys you."

"Getting back at Blake?"

"Yes. You have a past with her. Were you two lovers?"

"She left me, but I'm not holding it against her. What I am holding against her is her loyalty to the humans and the re-organized White Fang. She needs to be taught a lesson."

"My my my, this seems like a spin off of Romeo and Juliet, only with a darker twist! Plus, your reasoning is far more believable than a typical "I must kill you because I've turned into a Yandere out of nowhere" plot."

"Blake, the Schnees… they all must perish."

"Fascinating! So, do we have a deal, Mr. Taurus?"

Adam smirked. "Yes."

"Excellent! Now let's shake on it." Dimentio said, while alarm bells were ringing inside Seryu's head.

"Excuse us for a moment." Seryu said, grabbing Adam's arm and pulling him away.

"Take your time!"

"What are you doing?" Adam asked.

"What are you doing?" Seryu shot back. "Something about him doesn't feel right. There's no possible way we should trust him."

"Is it because he looks human?"

"No! It's not that… there's something that's bugging me and I don't know what it is. There's some kind of aura I'm sensing around him, and trust me, I'm picking up on a lot of red flags."

"He says he can help us destroy Blake and the Schnees, not to mention this Emperor Bowser seems trustworthy."

"Adam, we can torment Blake and the Schnees another day! Going in on a blind deal is not how we go about this!"

"You worry too much." Adam said, putting his hand on her shoulder. "Besides, what's the worst that can happen?" He walked off toward Dimentio.

"Adam…" Seryu whispered, looking massively concerned. "You're… so hellbent on destroying them, you'd rather jump in on a deal as shady as this guy…" She looked down. "I may have brought him here, but…" She closed her eyes, remembering her conversation with Whitley. "…Adam may be more lost than I am…" And there's no way in hell I'm ever going to snap out of this…

Adam approached Dimentio. "Sorry about that."

"Oh no, it's fine. She's just a bit rattled after her fight with the bombshell and the scythe wielder." Dimentio chuckled. "Now then, do we have a deal?"

"We do." Adam reached his hand out as Dimentio did the same, both of them shaking on it.

"Excellent!" Dimentio smiled as he took a step back, magic forming in his hands. "Let's make some magic!"

I've meant to do this Gaiden for a while, and now i've finally got around to doing it! Yay.

Ibuki: She wondered when you would get around to doing this.

Yup, and now for a small thank you to Log adding the "Even if you were to perish" bit for Dimentio.
