Moments Before Dark Samus Gave The Command

"Hmm…" Urbosa had her arms folded as she was in Hyrule Castle along with the other champions. "So it would seem Ganondorf has indeed changed."

"How can we know for certain?" Revali pointed out. "He's a wicked man, after all."

"I do understand your concerns." Zelda said, drinking tea as she was also sporting shorter hair. "It is Ganondorf after all. That said, he didn't seem interested in bringing back Demise or… whatever Ghirahim was talking about. He does seem like a changed man, despite still being… cocky."

"I agree. Despite being arrogant, I sense something within him. It does feel rather strange… this is the man who I've encountered earlier. Meeting your ancestor, the one who brought destruction toward Hyrule…" Urbosa folded her arms. "It was quite an experience."

"How… interesting." Mipha spoke up.

"He also said he's rather not interested in bringing in the calamity and is trying to be better." Zelda added. "…I think, it was so late at night, I could hardly think straight." She admitted, scratching her cheek sheepishly.

"Regardless, he seems like an alright man." Daruk said.

"Indeed. Father has pleasant conversations with him. I've overheard Ganon saying that my father is more reasonable than King Daphnes ever was."

"That's… good…. I think?" Mipha tilted her head.

"Well, I suppose that does make sense but I'm keeping an eye on him just in ca-"

The whole castle suddenly shook, interrupting Revali. "Mmph! What the…?"

"Hmm, it seems we're having an earthquake." Daruk said calmly as the shaking stopped.

"PRINCESS!" Impa would immediately teleport in.

"What is it?"

"You have to come see this!"

"Okay…?" Zelda wondered as they walked outside to the courtyard as she let out a gasp, seeing a blue mushroom cloud in front of her. "What in the name of…"

BGM: Imminent Threat (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)

"What is this? Are we under attack?" Mipha wondered.

"I've never seen anything like it…" Urbosa said.

"I'll take a closer look." Revali said as he flew up to investigate.

"Be careful! We don't know what that is!" Zelda called out to him as Revali flew around to investigate it.

"Nnngh! The air's… intoxicatingly electric…" Revali grunted as he would see the land before him slowly turning everything radioactively blue and converting Bokoblins and other creatures around the land. "Rrrgh… this isn't good." Revali flew back to the castle.

"Well? What is it?" Daruk asked.

"It's some kind of blue substance. It's electric, it feels radioactive, and above all else, it's spreading like wildfire." Revali responded. "Not to mention the wildlife are getting corrupted by this thing."

"How did this happen… how did-" Zelda let out a gasp. "Could… could this be that phazon like the attack in Remnant…"

"Wait, you don't mean THAT, do you?" Impa asked.

"It would appear so." A voice said as King Rhoam approached. "It seems as if… Hyrule is about to meet the same fate."

"Coming through!" Purah came running over with Robbie as she aimed a Sheikah Slate at the Phazon. "Uh-huh… mhm… I see. This is indeed Phazon. It's 100% radioactive, burns anyone who touches it and corrupts them and shortens their lifespan." Purah said. "And it's currently headed straight for Hyrule Castle."

They would immediately hear screaming as they would see Castle Town getting obliterated by the Phazon as the residents were trying to run away from it.

Zelda clasped her hands together. "Goddess Hylia, hear my prayer… help us get rid of this!" She exclaimed as the Triforce appeared above her as she thrusted her arms to try and stop the Phazon from spreading. "Hraaaah!"

"It's working! …I think." Daruk said.

"It's only slowing it down…" Rhoam said grimly.

"No, this has to work…" Zelda grunted. "Come on… come on, please, this has to work! If it can stop the calamity… then it should work on this! Link isn't here right now… so I have to step in and do this myself!" She said as the Triforce glowed brightly as the Phazon slowed to a crawl, but it wasn't stopping it.

Immediately, there would be more rumblings that shook the Hyrulian earth. "Now what?!" Impa said as Purah took a look, then she gasped.

"Death Mountain is erupting… and it's not a natural one either! It… it was rigged with a phazon bom!"

"WHAT?!" Daruk yelled.

"Not only that… but more were set off in Gerudo Desert, Mount Lanayru, Zora's Fountain, Rito Village… all of it!" Purah exclaimed.

"You gotta be kidding me!" Urbosa said.

"I wish!"

Zelda closed her eyes. Nono…! If any of you other Zeldas can hear me… we need help! I… I don't think we're gonna make it!

At the Blue Typhoon

"Mmph!" LttP Zelda turned her head. "This feeling… that's not good." She whispered as she clasped her hands together. "Twilight, come here a second!"

Sheik dropped down. "I feel it too."

"Good. Now let's go." She said, as Sheik transformed back into Twilight Zelda as the two of them nodded as they took each other's hands and teleported straight for Wild Hyrule.

Back at Hyrule

"I will… not let Hyrule fall!" Zelda grunted.

"Boop boop…" Terrako quietly chirped.

"Little bird… please, don't strain yourself!" Urbosa requested.

"No! I'm not letting Hyrule fall like this!" Zelda protested. "Come on… you can do this!"

Lights appeared next to the group as the two other Zeldas approached them. "…Oh sweet Hylia." Past Zelda could only say in horror.

"Goddesses above…" Twilight whispered.

"Yeah, we're kinda… screwed right now." Purah said as the two Zeldas quickly got between Wild Zelda and offered their Triforces of Wisdom to add power to her complete Triforce.

However, it wasn't enough as the phazon latched onto the castle. "Crap!" Revali growled.

"It's not enough…" Twilight said solemnly. "We need to leave. All of us."

"Well, we can't leave to Remnant, that place is infected like nuts!" Past Zelda pointed out. "The only thing we can do is… take them to space."

"Then that's what we'll do."

"I'm not sure what you're prattling about, but anywhere but here sounds good right now." Revali said.

Rhoam walked over to Zelda, putting his hand on her shoulder. "Zelda… enough." He said as sweat was running down her forehead.

"Nnngh! Need to… try…!" Zelda grunted before she fell on her knees, panting with her hands on the ground with the Triforce disappearing.

"The only thing we can do… is get out of here." Twilight said solemnly. "Past."

"On it." She nodded, clasping her hands together. "Gather around me!"

Tears fell from Wild's eyes. "No… Hyrule shouldn't fall like this… I SHOULDN'T HAVE FAILED!" She screamed hopelessly as her tears fell to the ground, where Rhoam and Urbosa would kneel down to comfort her as Twilight clasped her hands together as well, as both of their Triforces of Wisdom would shine bright as everyone started to glow.

"Next stop… the Blue Typhoon." Past Zelda said as they teleported away right as the Phazon made its way toward them.

Meanwhile, in the Halberd's cockpit…

"What?!" Dedede exclaimed. "You're joking!"

"I wish I was." Yukari said. "Gensokyo and Popstar has fallen from the Phazon. I took the liberty to gap everyone I could to the ships… and also taking the liberty to expand the dimensions around the ships so they won't be so crowded."

"This is worse than we thought…" Meta Knight said.

Blue Typhoon

"Mobius?!" Tails said in shock.

"Indeed. I took the liberty to evacuate most I could onto the Egg Carrier 3.0. We are on our way to your location as we speak."

"Nuts… this is horrific…" Tails quietly said. "Thanks Eggman."

Tails would lean forward, his elbows on the controls as he put his hands over his head. "Crap… now what?"

"We'll figure out a way." Sonic said, leaning on a wall. "We always do."

"Mmph… If only we knew how…"

Great Fox

"Welp, we can't go to Corneria, that place got hit with Phazon." Peppy said.

"Why am I not surprised!" Falco mumbled.

"Hmph, I had a feeling Dark Samus would go all out." Wolf mumbled.

"Hope there's a light at the end of this dark tunnel…" Fox hoped. Mmph, what would my father say in a situation like this?

Great Falcon

"Rrrgh! This is barbaric!" Falcon said, slapping his fist down on the controls. "How in the hell are we getting ourselves out of this one? All the planets are getting overtaken!"

"Perhaps we'll find a way." Olimar said. "Maybe my home planet will suffice."

"…Olimar, I have a feeling that got hit too."

"The sad thing is, you're probably right."

Back on the Great Typhoon

"Hope you don't mind if we crash here a while." A voice said as Arceus walked in with the Legendaries, Mythicals and Ultra Beasts. "We took the liberty of evacuating the regions as best we could."

"Go ahead. Sothis came along with those from Fodland and the "Outrealms" as she puts it." Shadow mentioned.

A little ways away, the Zeldas teleported everyone on the Typhoon. "Here we are!" Past Zelda smiled.

Wild Zelda looked up, seeing her Link approach her. "Link…"

"Hey, you made it. I'm guessing Hyrule got hit."

"Yeah, pretty badly." Revali said.

"I couldn't… I couldn't protect them… as hard as I tried, I couldn't!" She quietly sobbed as Link knelt down to hug Zelda in comfort, while Terrako started to play a little song to comfort Zelda.

BGM: Zelda's Lullaby: Ancient Tune (Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity)

Twilight Zelda sighed. "I just hope my version of Link and Midna are doing well…"

"Here's hoping." Past Zelda agreed.

Outside, Ozpin stood out on the runway, looking at the vast emptiness of space. "I have to say, I must thank you for evacuating us when it was clear that we couldn't stay much longer." He said as Yukari appeared beside him by opening up a gap.

"Hmm, you're welcome." Yukari said before frowning. "I have a feeling Dark Samus might have won."

"I suppose you're right."

"She may have won the battle." Arceus approached them. "But she has not won the war yet."

"Indeed. I've a feeling we may turn this around." Yukari said.

Arceus's eyes started to glow. "If it's a war they desire… then we'll give it to them."

Meanwhile

A door opened up as Ridley walked out. He took a few steps before kneeling down. "The conquest is going smoothly."

BGM: The Thirteenth Discretion (Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories)

"I see. Dark Samus is proving her usefulness."

"Indeed. According to her, those who have been infected with Phazon do not need to worry about starvation. She mentioned that her phazon has evolved to the point where it provides nutrients into their bloodstream. Soon, she will create food made out of phazon and will corrupt those who are desperate enough to eat."

"Fascinating… yet I do not believe her words."

"I agree. Her one track mind of Phazon can only get her so far."

"Indeed. Her skewed views of galactic conquest led her to her downfall the first time."

"She's overconfident. She's more interested in corrupting everyone and everything that she's not learning from her past failure. She doesn't even realize that little miss Riding Hood was corrupted by Phazon, yet she powered through and defies the Phazon… she controls it now."

"Dark Samus's days are numbered. She has the personality of a wall… and that's an insult to walls everywhere."

"Indeed. We share a common interest in destroying Samus, but she hasn't realized she doomed herself from the start of this war." Ridley chuckled. "While Master Hand made the right call to bring me into Smash, he made a horrible mistake to bring her as an Assist Trophy… and then a Smasher. Look at what she's done."

"Dark Samus… hmph. She will pay a price."

"I knew exactly where this was going the moment she hatched her plan. I only joined because I'm chaos incarnate and while I enjoy causing destruction and mayhem for the heroes, I'm not stupid. She signed her death warrant the moment she started this war. She's just delaying the inevitable… heh, who do you think suggested taking the Power Stars? Slowly watching Dark Samus fall is most enjoyable."

"Hmmhmhmhm, you never cease to amaze me, Ridley."

"Indeed. I still haven't forgiven her for corrupting me with Phazon long ago. It's high time I give her my thanks and soon, I'll be taking-… no… we will take over this conquest in style. It's what we do best!"

"Continue your conquest as we speak. This is our moment to shine as well."

"Yes. The Space Pirates will rise again and will put Samus in her place… Mother Brain."

Ibuki: ...Oh shit!

Yeeeeup. I've been trying to figure out a way to incorporate Mother Brain into this... and huzzah, i've finally done it!
