Moments Before the Phazon Bombs Went Off In BoTW Hyrule…
BGM: Field - Day (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
Satori Mountain… a mountain filled with wonder and secrets. Filled with many kinds of ore, wildlife, the trees and the plants of the ground. A few Silent Princesses glimmered in the sun. A Cherry Blossom tree stood proudly at the peak.
A few rabbits hopped along while a deer grazed along the ground, content on eating the grass that was before it. A few butterflies flew around.
There was peace. Quiet. Tranquility…
An earthquake.
The mountain shook as a few birds flew around in a panic, the deer raised its head and its ears twitched. A few cherry blossom petals gently fell to the ground. A bird landed on a branch, twitching its head curiously at the sight below the mountain.
A few rabbits peeked out of their burrow near a few trees, an apple nearly falling on one's head as they looked to see a strange blue mushroom cloud rising above the Hyrulian air. A shockwave soon followed as it swiftly climbed the mountain and struck the rabbits, sending them flying back followed by the sound of the explosion.
End BGM
The trees rattled, apples fell off the trees, a Woodcutter Axe fell and embedded itself to the ground. One tree splintered and fell on top of a fox that was knocked out cold.
At the peak, the shockwave was enough to knock the deer off of its footing and sprawled on the ground. The shockwave was enough to uproot a few Silent Princesses, but several remained strong. A few boulders rolled down the hill and crushed any wildlife that was unfortunate enough to be in their path.
More mushroom clouds rose from the Hyrulian landscape. Gerudo Desert, Mt. Lanayru, Zora's Fountain, Death Mountain, the Lost Woods, the Akkala Sea, the Hebra Mountains, Rito Village… all of Hyrule was getting these strange mushroom clouds rising from the ground.
Heavy footsteps approached the summit as two Zebesians carried a bomb. "This should do it. The last bomb to fully envelop Hyrule."
"Indeed. It is a beautiful mountain… but none shall escape the Phazon."
One of them activated the bomb as they both chuckled before they walked toward the edge and looked toward the Hyrulian land covered in the Phazon. They would hear heavy footsteps approaching them but they didn't pay much mind.
"It seems as if the wildlife is running away."
"Hmph. They have no place to go."
"We should leave, lest we be infected by-"
SMASH!
The Space Pirates jumped and turned around, seeing their bomb destroyed. "What the…?! Who did such a thing?!"
"…Uh… dude? Look!"
The one Space Pirate looked to see a majestic creature standing near them. It had a majestic blue aura to it, it looked like a heavenly horse but it wasn't. Instead, it looked very sage like. It was as if they were standing in front of a god.
The Lord of the Mountain.
BGM: Lord of the Mountain (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)
The Space Pirates stared at this majestic creature. It had such an imposing figure, the two had the urge to bow before its presence. Its appearance could be enough to make even Arceus himself bow before this creature.
In fact, one Zebesian actually bowed before it. "What are you doing?!"
"I don't know! Something about this creature is… overwhelmingly breathtaking."
The Lord of the Mountain walked toward the two, letting out a snort as if steam was coming out of its nostrils. One of them thought they could've sworn they saw an image of a man instead of a creature.
"What should we do with it?"
"Simple. Kill it. Or better yet, corrupt it with phazon!"
The two nodded as they readied their claws at the creature, but instead, Lord of the Mountain fearlessly walked toward them, as if it had a look of disappointment on its face. It would then turn around before kicking them off the mountain with its hind legs, straight into the Phazon that was slowly climbing up the mountain.
There were a few whimpers as the creature turned toward some Blupees who was staring out toward the Phazon. The Lord of the Mountain let out a soft cry, as if calming them instantly. It would then wander down the mountain trail where it would come face to face with the Phazon.
It took a step forward and then another before fearlessly walking toward it. The phazon stopped approaching before splitting in half, as if even it was afraid to harm such a majestic creature. The Lord of the Mountain stopped at the base of Satori Mountain and raised its hooves up into the air before slamming them toward the ground, producing a large aura-like shockwave that dispersed the phazon surrounding the mountain. There was even a large protective forcefield to protect everything inside the mountain.
However, it wasn't done as it did the same thing, this time on a much larger scale that dispersed and evaporated the Phazon that was corrupting the land, turning everything back to the way it was. Trees were back to their normal selves, Silent Princesses glowed brightly, a few Hyrulians that were caught in it were fully cured by its might.
"What… what is that?" One of them wondered.
"I dunno… but I have a feeling that creature used to be a great man." Another said, noticing some Moblins bowing before the Lord of the Mountain.
There was a loud roar from the skies as the Lord of the Mountain looked up to see the three dragons that were unfortuately corrupted by the Phazon. The three shot at it with fire, ice and lightning but the Lord of the Mountain calmly stomped its foot on the ground to produce a force field to deflect the powers before stomping the ground again to produce a shockwave that hit the dragons, freeing them of its corruptive nature.
Dinraal, Farosh and Naydra. The three of them looked down at the creature in humility where the Lord of the Mountain would glow brightly, giving some of its energy to the dragons as they glowed brightly and flew across the Hyrulian sky, the aura sprinkling across the land and destroying the Phazon around it, purifying the land.
As far as the Lord of the Mountain was concerned, Hyrule will not fall to this corruptive nature of the Phazon.
The creature would hear a dark portal opening up as it would turn to see Dark Samus coming out. "I thought I felt my Phazon being destroyed." Dark Samus charged up her arm cannon. "To think a loathsome creature like you would do something about it."
The Lord of the Mountain let out a grunt.
"Hmm? Hmhmhm… I do not understand a word you said, creature. However, if you believe you can save Hyrule from the Phazon, you have a death wish."
Another grunt.
"Perhaps I should give you an infection internally. Perhaps a growth in your system will put you in your place." Dark Samus fired a Plasma shot, but the Lord of the Mountain disappeared and then reappeared behind Dark Samus.
Dark Samus turned around and fired the Grapple Beam, wrapping it around the neck and was ready to electrify the Lord of the Mountain, however it swung its neck to send Dark Samus flying toward a tree. It would then approach Dark Samus shortly after.
"Rrrgh…" Dark Samus got up. "You have an imposing figure, I will give you that. However, as creatures bow to you… I will not bow down to a god, if you can call yourself one."
It let out another grunt.
"I do not understand. It's as if you are telling me to "Please understand" something. Hmph! I am not afraid of you." Dark Samus fired a missile, but the Lord of the Mountain raised his body and came down, crushing the missile with its hoof without much effort.
"Tch…" Dark Samus got up. "It appears I have met my match. Fine, you can have Hyrule… but know that you cannot save the other worlds. My reign is at hand and this universe will bow to me. Something that not even you can understand, loathsome creature. It seems as if everyone respects you… but I don't."
A dark portal opened up. "Go on and save this pathetic land. I invite you to try and save it. But can you do it on your own? Only time will tell." Dark Samus disappeared into the dark portal.
The Lord of the Mountain turned around and walked toward the other corrupted parts of Hyrule. As far it was concerned, Hyrule will not fall, nor bow before the corrupted Phazon.
This idea was sprung up by Yoshi, as he said "It might be difficult, but I wonder how the wildlife would fare on Satori Mountain in BoTW Hyrule during the Phazon outbreak" and I thought "Hmm... *gears start to turn* Hmmm! This'll do..."
Ibuki: Ibuki feels like she wants to bow before Lord of the Mountain's majesty. *sniffs* Oh, what the heck, she'll do it! *bows*
Thanks for the idea, Yoshi.
