While Umber is Fighting the Phaze Chimera

Seryu sat by herself, cleaning one of her weapons before she paused and looked at it for a few seconds before rolling the barrel and thought about the time where she lost it. "…Oh, who am I kidding. Every time I play Atlas Roulette, I always end up winning." She mumbled as she pointed the gun at the wall and pulled the trigger.

"Tch, why am I not surprised. If I always win, the wall gets to win too." She grumbled.

"Having a conversation with yourself, are we?"

Dimentio arrived, dropping Mario on the ground. "Worry not, I can cure your boredom with this wonderful new playmate!"

"You… you kidnapped the hero of the Mushroom Kingdom?"

"Of course! He's gonna be our new ally!"

Seryu blinked. "Come again…?"

"You heard right! If I couldn't gain control of Little Miss Phazon Hood, then I'm sure we can do it with Mario himself! Why, I was successful on brainwashing Ironwood, so why can't I do the same with Mario?"

"You brainwashed Iron-… how are you not dead yet?" Seryu grimaced.

"Simple! I am bound by this universe's protection! As long as the universe is with me, I cannot truly die!"

"More like sheer dumb luck…" Seryu mumbled.

"Tomay-to, Tomah-to." Dimentio said. "Now, as I've brainwashed the one with the shag on his lip before, perhaps I can do the same with this one. Why stop there though! I can totally see Luigi not wanting to harm his brother, so I can definitely bring back Mr. L! In fact, why not get their girlfriends involved! Mrs. D and Mrs. P, it's quite the-"

"Okay, time out. Mr. L is one thing but can't you come up with something more original?" Seryu pointed out. "Besides, Mrs. D and Mrs. P sounds incredibly awful. And this is coming from a Faunus who's completely lost it!"

"Oh, pish posh!" Dimentio waved it off. "It's a work in progress so-" Mario slowly rose up, his cap casting a shadow over his eyes, something that Seryu noticed. "-I was thinkinng that Luigi would fall to Mario, and we'd have ourselves the Phantom Bros! Oh, that would be a delight, wouldn't you agree?" Dimentio would see Seryu switching guns. "Do we have an intruder?"

"No, but your hostage just woke up!" Seryu exclaimed as she would aim her gun at him, but he had jumped up into the air, punched Dimentio away as he pulled out the Cape Feather and swiftly dodged Seryu's bullets as he would sock her in the head before putting her into an arm hold. "Nnnngh!"

"I know that you have demons, but you're siding with him?"

"It's not like I had an option!" Seryu grunted, elbowing him to make him let go as she pointed the gun at him, but he sweep kicked her to knock her down and then kicked the gun away, then he pulled Seryu's glove off of her and then ignited his hammer and swung it down, crushing her metal arm and even severing it. "Agh!" She yelped as Mario brought out an Ice Flower and froze her mouth shut while also burning up her glove.

"Love the enthusiasm!" Dimentio exclaimed. "Tore her apart just like that, that's impressive! Guess you're not as heroic as everyone says you are!"

"When you threaten my family and friends… that's when the gloves come off." Mario glared, his hands igniting as his eyes burned with passion.

"Oooh, so you've been holding back all this time? Well, why don't you go and tear my arms off, shake them like maracas and beat me like a pinata. Surely, that won't be out of character for someone like you!"

"You're right, but I know a brute who can do it without breaking a sweat!" Mario said, jumping over to Dimentio.

"Bowser? Now that I can see!" Dimentio said, throwing magic at Mario but he would avoid them easily and punched him in the head.

"For my paperized brother!" Mario exclaimed, unleashing streams of fire at him before he jumped up with pyrokinetic force and punched him in the face, bringing out his hammer and smacked him in the gut before jumping back and unleashing Mario Finale at him

"Brava! You truly know a thing or two about pyrotechnics!" Dimentio said as Mario threw another stream of fire but Dimentio avoided it, however the stream of fire made a U-Turn and struck him in the back as Mario would then use a fiery uppercut to knock Dimentio up in the air before jumping up and then pummeled him straight to the ground and then conjured up a massive fireball which he threw down onto Dimentio, where it would explode as miniature fireballs flew into the air before falling to the ground.

Holy shit… Seryu could only thought with fear in her eyes.

Mario landed on his feet shortly after, staring at the crater that he had left… but then Mario shifted his eyes, bringing out his hammer, turnig around with a mighty swing but Dimentio magically caught it. "Now where was all this? That's what I call a fiery passion!" He grinned as he then telekinetically brought Mario up into the air. "You will be perfect. You'll be my new Mr. L before I have a chace to toy with this universe's Luigi!" He said, snapping his fingers.

"AAAAAAGH!" Mario cried as magic went into his head before he fell to the ground, then Dimentio smirked.

"Rise." He commanded as Mario rose up, his eyes closed before he opened them, his blue eyes now red.

"What is your bidding, Master Dimentio…"

"Ahahahahaha! Who needs Nastasia!" Dimentio laughed. "You have been reborn, Mr. M!" He said as he then turned to Seryu and snapped his fingers as her metal arm repaired itself and reattached herself, the ice on her mouth disappearing and her metal glove returning.

"Why do I feel like you've made a huge mistake?" Seryu asked.

"Mistake? Ahahahaha. No, it was a mistake that I haven't done this sooner! Point, Dimentio!" Dimentio fist pumped. "Now then, Mr. M. Let's get you your new look. It doesn't make you… mysterious enough."

At the Observatory…

"WHAT?!" RWBY yelled.

"Yeah, you heard right. That clown brazenly kidnapped him out in the open in front of everyone." Lysithea said.

"He's desperate." Youmu spoke up.

"My word…" Kamek mused. "I've heard of Peach getting kidnapped, but Mario? That only happened twice in my lifetime."

"Twice? …Oh right, Vibe Island." General Guy nodded. "…No, wait, three times. King Boo had a hold of him and RWBY."

"Oh, I forgot about him." Kamek rubbed his head.

"So… do we go and save Mario?" Junior asked. "That's… unheard of!"

"Well, we have to at this rate!" Weiss said.

"How's Luigi holding up?" Yang asked. "Hell, how's Peach holding up?"

"I know Daisy's taking it well." Lysithea said, looking over at Daisy punching at a punching bag.

Ruby walked over to the edge of the Observatory. "Hey, you two alright? …I've a feeling the answer is no."

"I just don't get it…" Peach sighed with frustration. "Why would he want Mario?"

"We'll get him back. I'm not sure how, but we will." Ruby said.

"She's right." Luigi said as he stood up, his hands crackling with electricity. "We'll get him back." His eyes were filled with determination, not to mention he looked angry. "Dimentio will pay for this."

Originally, this was going to be in the current Galaxy 2 chapter but I was so focused on that Phaze Chimera, it slipped my mind. I remembered it a few minutes after I posted it and I went "Oh crap. I can easily add that in! ...Wait, no, better idea. What if that was the next Gaiden instead? Yeah, that'll work!"
