Snape's father is alive, now Hermione's parents are dead because of it. Snape is forced to babysit our favorite know-it-all for the summer, what's gonna happen? (takes place the summer between 6th and 7th year, eventually 7th year, non DH compliant, AU after 5th Year, rated M for language and because I will eventually get THERE and I won't want to change it then)

James is now in his third year and is still determined to bring back Sirius. He, his friends and cousins now know where the archway is. However they don't know how to get to it. There is also the problem of Nutcracker opening the chamber of secrets in hopes of killing his sisters out of revenge.

Essentially Hermione was abandoned at Malfoy Manor by Harry and Ron. She's imprisoned for many months in the cellar, mainly tortured by Bellatrix. Something like Stockholm Syndrome develops between them and they wind up caring for and loving each other. The story begins on teh night Hermione proves she doesn't need to be chained up in the cellar anymore. Some parts are pretty dark.
