Centuries Ago in Remnant
Legends say that long ago, Remnant didn't have Huntsman Academies back then. They had Huntsman and Huntresses, but where would they go? Striving huntsman and huntresses had to find someway to take care of those nasty Grimm with their weapons and semblances.
Thus began the start of the Huntsman Guilds. Guilds were built all over the world. Guilds in the kingdoms of Vale, Mistral, Atlas and Vacuo were all scattered around the world. There were smaller guilds and there were bigger guilds.
Some guilds were more popular than others. Some guilds were more sinister and would rather bring down the other guilds all for the sake of pride. Some guilds were rivals, some were allies, some decided to lone wolf it.
But all in all, most of these guilds had one goal in mind. To try and stop the Grimm from killing everyone. Of course they had other jobs like scouting, escorting, fending off bandits, and a whole lot of other crazy missions they'd do.
One such guild was famous compared to the rest. It was in the Kingdom of Vale, deep inside of it had a region that was prosperous and filled with humans and Faunus alike. Compared to the rest of the world, this region was one of the few that didn't discriminate against Faunus.
This… was known as Fiore. Over time, Fiore would fade into obscurity, along with the prosperous town of Magnolia, and would be renamed the City of Vale. In Fiore, there was one guild that stood out amongst the rest. This guild… was known as Fairy Tail.
BGM: Fairy Tail Theme (Fairy Tail)
Inside the guild held the strongest ragtag group of misfits, and yet, they knew how to get things done. They may sometimes butt heads, but they were one thing and one thing only. A family.
Natsu Dragneel, the number one knuckleheaded Fire Manipulating huntsman. With his fiery hot headed temper, he would always rush into things without thinking, but yet… he was a kind soul. His semblance being Fire Manipulation, he'd burn anything down that would make him mad… or if he felt like showing off.
Of course, considering Dragon Grimm were plentiful in these times, he would call himself the Fire Dragon Slayer and would call his Fire Manipulating semblance "Dragon Fire". In his mind, it would bring fear into the hearts of the enemies. It didn't help that he would constantly eat fire like it was an every day snack for him.
No one knew where he was from. He claims that he was raised by a Dragon Grimm that he affectionately called "Igneel" and he disappeared from his life. Then the next day, he would say his whole village burned down by bandits, and then the next day, he would claim a winged Faunus dropped him while they were flying and he ended up lost in the woods.
Whichever BS story he pulls out, everyone just tuned him out… but no one knew where he came from. However, he did have a best friend. A blue haired, blue tailed Faunus with a dorky grin on his face, a white T-Shirt and green pants, not to mention a constant green backpack on his back, this Faunus was none other than Happy, who was born in Menagerie and decided to see the world for himself, where he bumped into Natsu and the two were inseperable ever since.
Next up was Gray Fullbuster, who hails from Mantle. As a child, he was taught under the expert Ice Manipulator herself, Ur. She taught him, along with another student Lyon Schnee, ice manipulation (That Gray likes to call Ice Make) which had unlocked their semblances. However, that wasn't the only thing she taught them. Apparently she liked to strip to her underwear because she was more comfortable training that way, which rubbed off on Gray and now he strips without even thinking about it.
However, Ur had sacrificed herself by unleashing a powerful move against a Grimm that was wreaking havoc in a city. A move so powerful that it kills the person who uses it, known as Iced Shell, a technique that used up all of her aura and life to use. Because of this, Gray vowed never to use it.
He joined Fairy Tail a little bit later… and already butted heads with Natsu because according to the both of them, fire and ice will never get along.
Next up was the Scarlet Warrioress herself, Erza Scarlet. Slayer of Grimm, powerful enough to knock anyone senseless, lover of Strawberry Shortcake, tamer of Natsu and Gray. Her semblance allows her to summon any bladed weapon she desires and can change her armor on a whim that she calls: Requip Semblance. If there's one thing that everyone knows… you make her mad or annoy her enough? You'll regret it.
Once a slave girl to build a tower that reaches the heavens above but escaped… mostly due to Jellal letting her live, she was able to make her way to Fairy Tail and grew to become a strong warrior. Strong enough to be classified an S Class Huntress… in other words, she was the best of the best. She went back to the Tower of Heaven due to being kidnapped by Jellal's goons, but with her team, she was able to defeat Jellal. Of course, Erza thought this would be the end for her… but Natsu had other ideas.
That said, Jellal came back into her life months later and there are rumors these two are dating but they kept insisting it's a "platonic relationship".
Lucy Heartfilia, a young woman who hails from a rich family in Atlas, she left her family lifestyle all because her father kept forcing her to be "proper" and of course, marry a man of his choosing. To make things more complicated, he would force her to do things to Faunus at a young age that haunted her. She didn't want to do it, but her father made her otherwise she'd have no dinner. It was because of this that her mother took Lucy away from this lifestyle and lived in a private home in Atlas. Unfortunately, her mother grew ill and succumbed to her illness… but not before giving Lucy a set of keys.
When she held these keys, her semblance unlocked and was able to call upon Faunus from a different realm to aid her. Loke, a flirtatious Lion Faunus, Aries, the shy ram Faunus, Scorpio, a scorpion Faunus that likes to rock and roll, Taurus, a very perverted cow Faunus that wants a "smooooooooch", Aquarius, a moody fish faunus that insists to be called a mermaid, and other Faunus that she can call up at her disposal.
However, not all of these summons are Faunus. The odd one out had to be Virgo, a maiden who had a knack for being masochistic and constantly came out when Lucy wanted to call someone else for the occasion.
All in all, after Lucy's mother passed on, Lucy set out in search for a guild. None of them had suited her until she ran into Natsu who had saved her from being sold off by a so-called celebrity that was pretending to be Natsu. After that, she would quickly become a new member of Fairy Tail and getting acquainted with the "whackadoodles" as she calls them.
Wendy Marvell, one of the youngest members of Fairy Tail, a kind hearted individual who excells in Wind Semblance. However, as she has slain a few dragon Grimm, she prefers calling it "Sky Dragon Semblance". She was also the medic of her team, filled with healing medicine that she can also use with her semblance to give off a healing aura.
She once teamed up with Fairy Tail, along with some jokesters from Blue Pegasus, she once belonged to a guild known as Cait Shelter, but after a mission… it turns out Cait Shelter never truly existed and was just made from Roubaul's Illusory Semblance to make Wendy feel at home after Jellal had found the orphaned Wendy when she was little. This devastated her completely, but after an invite from Erza, she felt right at home in Fairy Tail.
She wasn't the only one who was from Cait Shelter. A Faunus with white cat ears, white hair and a stylish blouse that hailed from Menagerie, Carla decided to set out to join a guild, not caring if anyone would allow her in or not. Despite a few rejecting her, she held her head high until she found Cait Shelter and met Wendy. They bonded over time as Carla would act as a surrogate mother to Wendy. When they met with Fairy Tail, Happy immediately fell in love with her but despite that, she could care less about the "Tom cat's" tomfoolery, though overtime, he gained her respect.
There were other members of the Fairy Tail guild that were good friends with them. Levy McGarden, a book nerd with her Solid Script semblance and became fast friends with Lucy. Elfman Strauss, a comically large muscle man who demands some people to be a man (and he himself calls him that.), his semblance has him morph into any monstrous Grimm he came into contact with and would use it against the Grimm, or to blend in with the crowd.
…Of course, some Grimm doesn't fall for it because there's no way in hell a Beowolf would have large muscles like that. Not to mention he doesn't really make a good Grimm impression despite him believing he makes a good growling noise.
His older sister, Mirajane Strauss, has something similar but is more demonic in nature. No one knows how she truly got it, but in her hometown, the villagers thought of her as some demonic beast that was meant to be killed, so she, along with Elfman and Lisanna, fled and entrusted Fairy Tail to her sibling's care. She was going to leave, but Makarov was able to talk her out of leaving since Fairy Tail never discriminates. To her surprise, no one batted an eye on her strange demonic semblance that turns her into a true demon that wipes out anything.
She was once hot headed and butted heads with a younger Erza, but overtime, she grew into a calm and collected young lady… who tends to model in risque fashion magazines every so often that sometimes Lucy joins her. Of course, just because she's always nice doesn't mean she can't get angry. She doesn't get angry easily but if you manage to make her mad… there's a possibility you might not make it out in one piece. She usually spends her time being a bartender in the guild and doesn't usually spend so much time getting her hands dirty on missions.
Her younger sister, Lisanna Strauss, who has the semblance to shapeshift into any animal she had come into contact with, was once thought to have been killed during a rough encounter with a Grimm. Her siblings thought she didn't make it, but a lone passerby nursed her back to health. Of course, she was hit with amnesia and couldn't remember a thing. That said, her memories came flooding back when she ran into her childhood crush, Natsu. When she saw him, it all hit her like a truck and was overcome with emotions. Mira and Elfman thought they had seen a ghost… but they were all happily reunited once more.
Cana Alberona, a woman who has the semblace to have anything come to life with her cards that can be used against her enemies. She claims she has two semblances considering she can tank an entire barrel of alcohol and not get plastered like crazy. She claims her second semblance is basically her liver washes out the toxins from the alcohol and doesn't let her get drunk. Of course, no one bothered to tell her that she had surgery when her liver was FUBAR'd and had to get an artificial one and she doesn't actually have a second semblance… but who wants to argue with a woman downing five barrels of alcohol like it's nothing?
Gajeel Redfox and his black tailed Panther Faunus friend, Lily (Though he likes calling himself Pantherlily), were once members of a guild named Phantom Lord who's sole purpose was to make Fairy Tail's life miserable. Of course, after awakening the sleeping giant that was Fairy Tail and everyone knocked some sense in everyone, Gajeel and Lily were now a part of Fairy Tail. Of course, people didn't trust them but overtime, the two were respected.
Gajeel's semblance was basically transforming his body into iron… although he, too, managed to slay several Dragon Grimm so he tends to call it his Iron Dragon Slaying Semblance. What's more interesting is the fact he eats metal to power his semblance up. Normally, this would kill a person, but Gajeel didn't really seem to care.
Lily also hailed from Menagerie, but unlike Happy and Carla, he was a bit rougher around the edges and faced discrimination to the point where it made him angry. He seeked a guild while getting pies thrown at him and getting spat on. He's not much of a shirt kind of guy but he does wear tan pants. He also carries a sword with him. He found Phantom Lord and even though they discriminated Faunus, they were not as bad as others so he went inside, despite the teasings he received. He soon partnered up with Gajeel and after a war with Fairy Tail, they joined it soon after Phantom Lord was reduced to nothing.
Juvia Lockser, the woman with the Water Manipulation semblance, also belonged to Phantom Lord and had once kidnapped Lucy all because her father wanted her back just so she could marry the man of his choosing. (Of course, Lucy had none of that.) She had attacked Fairy Tail, but soon encountered Gray and the rest was history. She fell in love, got a better hold of her semblance, joined Fairy Tail and would constantly seek Gray's affection, much to his dismay.
With a bunch of other Fairy Tail members, these members of Fairy Tail made a happy, yet dysfunctional family… yet they still cared about each other, even though they constantly get into guild fights every now and then.
…Speaking of which…
"YOU THINK YOU'RE TOUGHER THAN I AM! I'LL WIPE THE FLOOR WITH YA, GRAY!" Natsu yelled.
"You talk too much, fire butt. We'll see who's the real tough guy after I'm done with ya!" Gray exclaimed.
"Oh yeah! GET A LOAD OF THIS!" Natsu yelled, his fist bursting into flame as Gray's hands were coated in ice. "FIRE DRAGON…"
"ICE MAKE-"
"IRON FIST/LANCE!"
During the chaos that was happening, Erza walked into the guild along with Levy, Wendy, Carla and Lucy after they were back from a shopping run. Lucy, Levy and Wendy were sweatdropping while Erza was facepalming. "…Honestly, we can't leave these guys alone for five minutes." Carla mumbled.
Lucy sighed. "What else is new?"
"Oh hey guys." Mavis casually waved amongst the chaos, casually eating some lemon cake.
"How can you eat when there's chaos going on?" Carla wondered.
Mavis shrugged. "I dunno." She said as two guildmembers were thrown into her. "Ooof! I'm okay! My lemon cake is alright!"
"THAT'LL TEACH YA TO MESS WITH A MAN! Oh, sorry Mavis!"
"It's okay, Elfman!" Mavis waved it off.
Erza groaned. "Must I manage to knock some sense into these buffoons. If it's one thing, it's another." She said. "Alright, that's enou-" A fireball whizzed past her, burning off her handbag and dropping her strawberry shortcake. "Ack!" She yelped as she dove to catch it. "Phew…"
She got back up. "You buffoons nearly cost me my strawberry shortcake! Now I'm going to stop this myself or-" One of the guild members bumped into her, making her drop her shortcake as it splattered all over the ground. "No!" She yelped as she knelt down. "My strawberry shortcake… I never had the chance to eat its tasty goodness. It's rich flavor… all splattered!" She said as anime tears ran down her cheeks.
"Now now, Erza… we can get another o-" A fiery aura surrounded Erza. "Eeep!" Lucy paled.
"Go go go!" Wendy exclaimed as she, Carla and Levy proceeded to push Lucy outside.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! YOU'LL PAY FOR THAT STRAWBERRY SHORTCAAAAAAAAAKE!" She screamed and lunged into the fighting dust cloud all the while Mavis dusted herself off and happily continued to eat her lemon cake.
"Hey Mira! You got any-" A lemonade was sent her way, causing Mavis's eyes to sparkle. "Thank you~!"

One guild fight later…
"Hmhmhmhm… rambunctious today, are we?" Makarov shook his head as everyone was comically injured while Erza was setting up a memorial for her strawberry shortcake and Juvia was rubbing Gray's shoulders.
"Yeah, I guess you can say that." Natsu chuckled.
"They're all just amped up for something." Mira smiled, cleaning a shot glass. "Or perhaps they're always amped up regardless." She giggled.
"Well, now that we got that out of the way, I'm glad Lucy wasn't caught in the crossfire." Makarov said. "Heaven knows she doesn't need to be in any fights for a while."
Erza's eyes widened. "That's right!" She turned around. "We need to make sure Lucy is comfortable at all times. We do not need to stress her out over something so trivial."
"Tch, he started it." Gray mumbled.
"Icicle butt." Natsu grumbled.
"AM I RIGHT, BOYS?" Erza was suddenly behind the two with a sinister glare behind the two.
"Ack!" Both yelped, hugging each other in fear. "YES! YES! WE PROMISE!"
"Especially YOU!" Erza pointed to Natsu. "You're the reason why Lucy is in this predicament and I will make damn sure she makes that delivery as smooth as possible. You, of all people, should know that!"
"Who died and made you the godmoth-" Erza gave him another glare. "Mmph!"
"Lucy asked me!"
More like you volunteered yourself… Lucy thought.
"So of course you and I are going to make sure her delivery is smooth as possible. Do I make myself clear?"
Natsu sweatdropped. "Yes…"
Erza immediately went back into a happy mood. "Excellent!" She immediately ran over where Lucy was at and sat down. "So tell me, how were you this morning? Were you ill?"
"No… but I'm really hungry at the moment."
"Well, I happen to have some strawberry shortca-" Erza paused before sulking with a depressed aura around her. "I'm a terrible protector of strawberry shortcake…."
"Will you get a grip!" Carla complained.
"Here, have a chocolate bar." Wendy handed it over to Lucy.
"Mmm… I'm not really craving that."
"Oh? What are you craving then?" Levy asked.
"I dunno… lemon bars?"
Metal Gear Solid "!" Sound
In a flash, Erza quickly ran into the kitchen.
Ding!
Erza came back out. "Who wants some lemon bars!"
"How did she make that within five seconds!" Gajeel exclaimed in disbelief.
"Goodness, teach me your ways! I want to learn how to bake those for my beloved!" Juvia exclaimed.
"Oh good grief…" Gray mumbled.
"Ooooh!" Lucy drooled as Erza set the pan down as Lucy proceeded to eat it up.
"Wow, look at her go!" Mavis said in awe.
"So!" Makarov cleared his throat. "As you may know, today is the Dragon King Festival. For those who may need a reminder, it is a festival to commemorate the fall of the great Dragon Grimm. If it wasn't for the efforts of Fairy Tail and its allies, Mermaid Heel, Blue Pegasus and Sabertooth, Remnant as we know it would have been destroyed. Today we celebrate this festival with a parade, games, food and what have you. This goes on for a week with several activities. Booths are currently up so let's all enjoy ourselves this week!"
"YEAH!" Everyone cheered… and then they heard heavy footsteps coming in as they turned to see Gildarts running in, panting and looking incredibly beaten up.
"Gildarts?" Makarov approached him. "What's wrong?"
"Hah… hah…" Gildarts panted and then whispered in Makarov's ear. His eyes widening in horror.
"No… so soon? Right now?" He asked.
"Yes… it's coming…"
Makarov let out a growl. "Of all the times she'd make her move…" He grumbled. "I'll be right back!" He took off running.
"What's going on?" Lisanna asked.
"If I had to guess, some Grimm got loose. Nothin' like the old man can't handle." Natsu shrugged, however Mavis looked at Gildarts and approached him.
"Gildarts. What happened?" She asked.
"It's here… that Grimm." He said as Mavis's eyes widened.
"Oh no…" Mavis whispered. "I'll be right back!" She said as she ran off.
A few minutes later into dusk…
Everyone would hear the sounds of screaming followed by explosions. "What the devil…?" Erza wondered.
"Are we having a massive Grimm attack?" Natsu wondered, already getting amped up with his fists burning with a smirk.
They would see Mavis coming back in, holding Makarov as he limped in. "Damned woman…" Makarov grumbled.
"What's going on?" Gajeel demanded to know.
"That Grimm that tore off some of Gildart's limbs? It's back…" Mavis said gravely as their eyes widened.
"Acnologia?!" Natsu exclaimed.
BGM: Tension (Persona 5)
"I thought one of the Silver Eyed Warriors took care of it!" Happy exclaimed.
"Clearly, they didn't do a good enough job!" Gajeel exclaimed.
"We need all hands on deck! We need to contact Sabertooth! Sting and Rogue could help us out!" Natsu exclaimed.
"No… they won't get here in time. Besides, they live in Vacuo. They won't get here quick enough." Mavis said. "We can try to contact them though… but will it be enough?" She wondered.
"We can put a stop to this!" Natsu cracked his knuckles. "Let's kick this Grimm's tail once and for all!" He exclaimed as they ran outside.
"Lucy, stay put!" Mavis told her. "You'll be safe here!" She said, healing up Makarov as she ran out.
"Mmm…" Lucy grumbled. "Crap…"
"You can provide support from here." Makarov said. "As long as you don't get into anything strenuous."
Lucy nodded. "Right!"

Out in Magnolia…
A large Mastodonic Grimm tore havoc into the town. It has an entire upper body covered in black, round, scales, which, in turn, are decorated by spiraling, red markings. His lower body, specifically his chin, chest, stomach, inner tail, thighs, and arms, are white in color, and appear to be rather smooth. His eyes are red and beady, and his head that is round and blunt sports the signature white mask that most Grimm possess with four, large, elongated plates extending backward. His mouth is full of razor-sharp teeth, and, attached to his chin, is a protrusion that resembles an arrowhead. His large wings are feathery in appearance, akin to a bird's. The scales disappear at the end of his tail, which, in itself, ends in a stinger-esque shape.
This… was Acnologia. And the massive Grimm was killing soldiers left and right. It opened its mouth and fired a blue laser that once fired, hit several buildings which was followed by massive explosions soon after. It let out a massive roar.
"Holy moly, I keep forgetting how massive that thing is!" Natsu exclaimed. "Alright, let's kick this things ass!"
"Let's do this. REQUIP!" Erza yelled, immediately going into Black Wing Armor as she flew up into the air and lunged at Acnologia.
BGM: Warriors (Imagine Dragons)
Acnologia shifted his eyes to see the Scarlet Warrioress as Erza swung her sword down and slashed at Acnologia. The large Grimm let out an annoyed snarl and swung his head, sending Erza into a building. Juvia would swiftly clap her hands, forming water around her and then shooting it at Acnologia while Happy, Carla and Lily flew Natsu, Wendy and Gajeel up in the air. Though, they weren't actually flying, Wendy was just giving them a boost with her semblance.
"Alright, that should be good!" Gajeel said as the Faunus dropped the trio as they dive bombed on Acnologia.
"FIRE DRAGON'S IRON FIST!"
"SKY DRAGON WING ATTACK!"
"IRON DRAGON'S CLUB!"
Acnologia got struck by all three as they bounced off, while Lily swung his sword down on the Grimm while Carla took Happy as the two did a spin kick on the Grimm's forehead. Natsu, meanwhile, clung on to Acnologia and took out his short sword. "Have some of THIS!" He yelled as he thrusted his sword into Acnologia.
Acnologia let out an annoyed growl and shook Natsu off. "Waaaaah!" He yelped as he slammed into the ground. Acnologia would raised his clawed foot up and slammed it on the ground, causing buildings to topple from the massive shockwave. A flap of his wings would send debris and everyone flying away.
Lucy would watch this from afar, looking through her keys. "Let's see… what would work against this brute… come on…" She would look at one key. "This should do!" She said as she raised the key up in the air. "OPEN! GATE OF THE MAIDEN! VIRGO!"
"Solid Script: Wall!" Levy exclaimed, writing in the air as a wall landed in front of Acnologia while Cana and Gildarts pulled some soldiers away as Elfman changed his body into an Ursa and climbed up his legs while Mira threw out a dark laser beam at the beast while Lisanna, having turned into a rhino, impaled Acnologia on the side.
"RAAAAH!" Elfman roared, turning into a Sphinx and wreaking havoc on top of the giant beast, but Acnologia would shake him off and turned around and smacked Elfman with his tail to send him flying. Of course, getting hit with his tail was enough to shatter his aura as Elfman slammed into the ground.
"Elfman!" Cana exclaimed as Elfman got back up, shaking it off. "Your aura! You need to-"
Elfman smirked. "So that's how it'll be. YOU THINK YOU CAN TAKE OUT A MAN'S AURA! WE'LL SEE WHO'S THE BIGGER MAN!" He yelled as he charged at the giant beast.
"You idio-… uuuugh!" Cana pulled out a card. "Protection!" She chanted, throwing it at Elfman to give him some protection while then throwing down Prayer's Fountain to strike Acnologia, and then suddenly the ground underneath Acnologia caved in and took the Grimm with it as Virgo popped out.
"That should do it." Virgo dusted her hands off.
"Nice one, Virgo!" Natsu said but suddenly Acnologia crawled out and roared.
"Oh, now he's pissed!" Gray exclaimed as Acnologia then flew up in the air and then charged up an attack before unleashing its blue laser that struck the ground and caused a massive explosion that sent everyone flying.

"NO!" Lucy yelled as Acnologia then landed on the crater, letting out a loud roar that echoed throughout the city.
"Rrrgh…" Natsu stumbled a bit, shaking the rubble out of his hair. "Tough bastard, aren't ya…" He growled.
"Elfman? ELFMAN!" Mira yelled as Natsu turned his head and saw Mira and Lisanna underneath Elfman.
"At least… you two are okay…" Elfman chuckled weakly, looking at them with a weakened smile.
"Elfman…" Lisanna whispered, tearing up. "Why did you take the full brunt of it… and shielded us?"
"Heh… a real man… protects his family no matter what…" He let out one last chuckle before his body fell limp.
"No…" Natsu whispered, punching the ground in frustration. "NO!" He yelled as everyone got up from the rubble. Carla and Happy pulled a KO'd Wendy from the rubble, but she was still alive.
Gray looked on in shock before letting out a growl. "That son of a…"
Suddenly, a loud thunder clap was heard and a lightning bolt came crashing down. "The Thunder Legion!" Juvia exclaimed as Laxus walked out, along with Fried, Bickslow and Evergreen.
"Sorry we're late. We had to get some help." Laxus said as joining them were Sting, Rogue, Yukino, Jellal, Meredy and Ultear.
"Nice! Saber Tooth and Crime Sorciere!" Natsu smirked as Laxus glanced down to look at Elfman, seeing Lisanna and Mira cry over his body as Laxus clenched his fists.
"You're going to pay for that." He growled.
Acnologia let out a roar as the reinforcements lunged at them along with Fairy Tail, while Virgo would pull Elfman's body away to safety with Mira and Lisanna helping her while explosions happened behind them.
In the midst of the chaos, Erza shook it off, using her sword as support. "Rrrgh… bastard…" She growled as Jellal slid back a few feet after being knocked back.
"You got any ideas?" Jellal asked.
"I have a few." Erza responded.
"You might be the ultimate Grimm Slayer, but I don't think a one woman army like you can take this down."
Erza clenched her fists. "We have to weaken it somehow. That damned armor is something else… if we don't destroy it, then all of Vale will be destroyed… and possibly all of Remnant."
"We'll find a way."
Erza took a deep breath. "I'm going in." She said. "REQUIP!"
BGM: Against Magic (Fairy Tail)
Erza quickly went into her Heaven's Wheel armor as she flew up into the air. "Everyone, make sure you help Erza out! She can't do this alone!" Jellal called out.
"What do you THINK we're doing?!" Gray exclaimed.
Erza summoned long swords above her and threw them down at the Grimm. Acnologia felt them impale him as he let out a snarl and raised his claws up to try and claw her down, but Erza flew around and then slashed Acnologia down with two broadswords before switching to axes and swinging them down on the top of Acnologia's head.
Acnologia responded by headbutting the Scarlet Warrioress, knocking her away as she landed on the ground, sliding several feet as Gray turned around and conjured up an ice bow and fired ice arrows to get his attention while Laxus leapt into the air and lightning punched Acnologia in the face, sending Acnologia's head swinging as Sting and Rogue both unleashed a Light/Shadow Dragon Roar to push Acnologia back… although it was just by a centimeter.
Erza flew back into the air before switching to Purgatory Armor and swung her sword down on top of Acnologia before deciding to go and clip his wings, but Acnologia shook her off and smacked her with his tail, sending her flying as her aura flickered as she crashed into the ground. "Rrrgh!" Erza grunted as she staggered and watched Acnologia charge up.
Jellal quickly unleashed Pleiades, throwing down six rays of light onto the beast and while it did seem to weaken it, it didn't even deter it as it unleashed its laser while Erza switched to her Adamantine Armor and quickly shielded herself and her comrades as her shield's armor took the full brunt of it.
Nnnngh! Just a little bit more… come on… I think I have enough aura to switch to Armadura… She thought as her shield was being torn apart. "Dammit… COME ON!" She growled as suddenly the laser stopped. She breathed a sigh of relief and opened her shield up… only for Acnologia to smack Erza from the side with his claw, completely destroying her armor with her armor and aura shattering. "AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
End BGM
"ERZA!" Jellal yelled as he ran after her.
"You gotta be freakin' kidding me!" Natsu exclaimed.
"I know a way to stop this." Gajeel said. "You up for it?"
"It's our only shot!" Natsu said as Wendy approached them, finding her second wind. "Sting, Rogue! You guys want in?"
"Like we'd miss out on this!" Sting smirked as they got into position as did Laxus.
"FIRE DRAGON…"
"IRON DRAGON…"
"SKY DRAGON…"
Acnologia charged up his laser again as Gray quickly got in the way and started forming an ice shield. "Gray, WAIT!" Juvia yelled.
"WHITE DRAGON…"
"SHADOW DRAGON…"
"LIGHTNING DRAGON…"
Acnologia unleashed his laser.
"ROOOOOOOOOOOOOAR!"
All six connected into Acnologia's, seeming to push it back as Gray had his shield ready in case things went awry. Unfortunately, Acnologia pushed their breath attacks back as it would smack into Gray's shield. Come on… you got this. Gray thought as his shield started to crack. His eyes widened as he tried to fill in the cracks, but then Juvia stepped in and filled the cracks with her water abilities… however more cracks were formed as the shield started to break apart.
"Gray, your shield!"
"I see it!" Gray growled as the shield continued to break apart. Juvia attempted to help but Gray realized what was about to happen and pushed Juvia away. Gajeel had the same idea and used Iron Dragon's club to swat away his comrades… right as the laser broke through and engulfed Gray and Gajeel.
"GRAY!" Juvia shrieked while Levy was at a loss for words, her hands over her mouth in horror as the laser dissipated as Gray and Gajeel were sprawled out. Juvia and Levy swiftly pulled them to safety while Natsu got up and looked on in shock.
"No…" Natsu whispered as the others looked on in horror as well.
"No… no!" Lucy cried out before letting out a scream and then raised her arm up in the air. "OPEN! GATE OF THE LION! LOKE!" She screamed through her tears.
Makarov clenched his fists. "That tears it." He said as he looked over to see Mavis who was watching on with horror in her eyes. "Mavis… I know you don't like to fight, but would you be willing to-"
"You don't have to ask." Mavis said with clenched fists. "I'm going in." She walked forward with determination on her face.
"What are you doing?! She's going to get hurt!" Lucy yelled.
"Lucy… there's something about Mavis that you ought to know. Mavis isn't just a member of Fairy Tail-"
Mavis approached the battlefield, staring Acnologia right in the eyes. "You big dumb monster… I'll make sure you won't get out of this alive!" She said and clapped her hands.
BGM: Dragon Force (Fairy Tail)
Suddenly, wind started to pick up as leaves swirled around her. The leaves suddenly caught on fire as Mavis slowly levitated off the ground. Acnologia turned to see Mavis, curiosity was seen in his eyes. Mavis took a deep breath and exhaled. "Here goes nothing." She said, closing her eyes… before reopening them as aura shot out of the corners of her eyes.
"-Mavis is the Spring Maiden."
Mavis launched herself over to Acnologia. The Grimm would respond by flapping his wings to try and blow her away, but Mavis raised her arm up as the ground rose and formed a shield to protect her from the fierce winds.
Electricity coursed through Mavis's body as she would unleash several lightning bolts from her hands, striking the Grimm as it let out a snarl. She flew toward him as Acnologia attempted to bite down, but Mavis barrel rolled out of the way and fire punched him before raising her arms up as the ground rose up and wrapped around the Grimm as ice coursed through Mavis's hands as she threw ice javelins that pierced through Acnologia's defenses and skin.
Acnologia roared as he fired a laser at Mavis, but she formed an ice dome around her which the laser connected and exploded, then Mavis wrapped the fire around herself before shooting it back at Acnologia, striking it in the head before she snapped her fingers, making it rain icicles and thunderbolts on the Grimm.
Mavis formed a giant electric sword as she flew over and slashed through Acnologia, slashing its wings off as Acnologia roared in agonizing pain as he would then swing his tail as Mavis flew up to avoid the swing, but Acnologia came in for a second swing and struck Mavis. "Agh!" She yelped, as she was sent flying towad the guild, slamming into a wall as her aura shattered and then fell to the ground.

"Ah crap!" Natsu exclaimed as he ran straight for the guild while everyone desperately tried to fight, even when Loke came in with a few Regulus Punches.
"Nngh…" Mavis slowly rose up, coughing a little.
"That's enough, Mavis… you don't need to push yourself." Makarov said.
"Makarov… you seriously need to have a talk with your ex wife." Mavis grumbled, wiping her mouth.
"I don't think she'd listen. I know how she gets."
"Well, someone has to otherwise Salem is gonna be laughing at your defeat!"
Makarov closed his eyes. "I'm afraid we're out of options. We have to bust out the last resort."
"What?!" Mavis exclaimed. "Are you nuts? That will destroy your-"
"We don't have a choice." Makarov said. "When I reincarnate, I will come find you all."
"Mmmph… there has to be another way…"
"You guys alright!" Natsu came running over.
"Yeah, we're fine." Lucy nodded.
"I've been through worse…" Mavis winced.
"Rrrgh… we're getting destroyed out there." Natsu growled.
"Hmm… this might work…" Makarov mumbled. "Natsu. What I am about to do will be the key to defeating this Grimm. However, and I cannot stress this enough, it will destroy your body. You may not make it out alive."
Natsu clenched his fists. "That's fine with me." He said. "Whatever it takes to destroy it, I'll do it."
"Are you sure, my boy?"
"I've gotten out of situations where I should've died… and yet, I made it out. What's one more risky situation, right?" He smirked.
Makarov chuckled. "Good answer." He said as he turned around and closed his eyes.
Lucy walked over to Natsu. "Hey."
Natsu turned to Lucy. "Lucy… about earlier, I'm sorry that I nearly-"
"Don't. Gajeel or Gray probably provoked you." Lucy smiled. "Just do me, no… us a favor… and come back to us safely, okay?"
Natsu smirked. "Do you even know who you're talking to, Luce?"
Lucy chuckled. "Right." She nodded as she grabbed his scarf and pulled him in to kiss him where he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her back before pulling away. "Good luck out there… you lovable idiot."
"Thanks." Natsu smirked. "I'll come back to you… and the little one." He said, poking Lucy's belly as Makarov had finished conjuring up some magic, putting it inside of a potion.
"This… is Dragon Force. It's not meant for consumption nor is it meant to be used for long periods. However, this is our last resort."
Natsu smirked and took it. "Here goes nothing."
"Again, I must warn you. It'll kill you if you're not careful."
Natsu let out a hearty laugh. "Only if I die, old man." He said as he downed the potion before tossing it to the side, the glass shattering on the ground. "Nnngh!" Natsu grunted, falling on his knees as he convulsed, holding on to himself while groaning.
"Natsu!" Lucy exclaimed.
"Oh my…" Mavis whispered as Natsu's eyes suddenly looked more draconic, in fact, dragon scales covered his body.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He roared as fire engulfed him… where Makarov, Mavis and Lucy could have sworn they saw an image of a red dragon behind him.
Back at the battlefield…
"Fall back! Fall back now!" Fried yelled as Acnologia was letting out several loud roars.
"Where the hell's Laxus?!" Evergreen exclaimed as Meredy shot out yellow blades and Ultera threw an orb as it split up and fired lasers at Acnologia to try and deter him. Yukino pulled away an injured Mira while Loke was thrown to the ground, narrowly getting himself squished by Acnologia.
"This is it!" Happy grimaced.
"NO, IT'S NOT!" A voice cried as suddenly Natsu slammed into the ground in a fiery inferno.
BGM: Natsu's Theme (Fairy Tail)
Natsu stared at Acnologia as the Grimm roared in his general direction. "LET'S DANCE, BIG GUY!" He yelled as he lunged ahead and fire punched him, which was enough to send Acnologia sliding, this time several feet as he was thrown into a few destroyed buildings.
Acnologia got back up as he clawed at Natsu, but he delivered a fiery uppercut to make Acnologia back up, then Acnologia unleashed its blue beam of death at him but Natsu unleashed a mighty roar that caused the two to slam into each other, causing a stalemate… however Natsu pushed it back and engulfed the Grimm.
"THIS IS FOR ELFMAN!" He yelled, punching him in the face. "FOR GRAY!" He used an uppercut right after, then he jumped up high into the air. "FOR GAJEEL!" He yelled as he threw the massive fireball down and made a gigantic explosion that rocked Acnologia.
Natsu slammed into the ground and glared at the weakened Grimm as he quickly lunged at him to finish him off, but Acnologia would swiftly turn around and then chomped down on him, swallowing him up… however, that proved to be a mistake as his entire body would catch ablaze as it let out a pained roar… and then Natsu tore through Acnologia's stomach and landed on the ground.
"FOR ERZA!"
Acnologia slowly started to fade away, letting out a snarl as he raised his foot up to try and crush Natsu, but he would unleash a powerful roar that would engulf the massive Grimm before it completely faded away.
End BGM
Everyone let out several cheers as even the soldiers, what was left of them, cheered on for the Grimm's defeat. A Seer would watch on from the skies as Salem witnessed Acnologia's defeat, letting out a disgusted snarl.
"Gray… Gray, please wake up…" Juvia said, tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Nngh…" Gray slowly came around and looked to see what happened. "Heh… that bonehead did it…"
"Gray… why… why did you push me out of the way?"
"Heh… isn't it obvious? You may be overbearing… but I… love you too." He weakly said as Juvia's eyes widened as his eyes started to drift.
"Gray… no… NO!" Juvia screamed as tears landed on Gray's cheeks. "How… how will I raise our child without you?! GRAY!"
Nearby, Gajeel panted heavily as Levy was cradling her. "Gajeel… come on…" Levy whimpered. "You're stronger than this…"
Gajeel let out a chuckle. "I'm… afraid I'm clocking out…" He said. "Hey… why don't you play that song I wrote…"
"That stupid song that you always sang? Why did you even write it, you bonehead?"
"Isn't it obvious, ya shrimp…" He smirked. "I wrote it for you…"
Levy's eyes widened, tearing up. "Oh… I see…" She sniffled.
"Please… sing that for me…"
"I'll try…" Levy wiped her tears. "Sparkling and colorful~ Shooby-do-bah~ You caught my eye like a shiny piece of metal~"
Gajeel chuckled. "Never realized… how much of a beautiful singer you are…" He said, closing his eyes and slowly drifted away as tears landed on his cheek right after.
"Sho-… Shooby… shooby-do-b-b-bah…" Levy couldn't contain herself and sobbed uncontrollably, hugging Gajeel tightly.
As for Erza… she was barely breathing and held on to her stomach. "He did it… heh… he actually pulled it off."
"Hey… don't fade out. You still got plenty of life left in you." Jellal said where Erza barely looked to see Jellal's eyes getting misty.
"Do me a favor… and… raise her up to be a strong warrior, okay?" Erza said with labored breaths. "You'd always make a great father…"
"Don't say that, we'll get you… we'll get you back." Jellal said, his voice nearly cracking. "HEY! I COULD USE A MEDIC OVER HERE!" He yelled out in the distance.
"Jellal…" Erza weakly put her hand on his cheek. "Smile… smile for me, okay…?" Her arm fell shortly after.
"Erza…?" Jellal clenched his fists, punching the ground. "No!"
With Natsu…
Natsu stumbled around, holding on to a destroyed building for support as he looked rather weak. Half of his body looked draconic yet was dark in color as his legs gave out and sat down, panting. "Natsu!" Happy came running over. "Natsu, we did it! We won!" Happy smiled but Natsu could only look at him. "Natsu… Natsu, come on… you recognize me, right? Natsu, please…! Buddy…" His voice started to crack as Lucy approached him before kneeling down.
"Natsu…"
Natsu weakly looked at him. "Hey Luce…" He barely made out.
"…Wendy?" Lucy asked as Wendy checked him out, feeling for a pulse, then she looked away in tears.
"His pulse is weakening by the second… I don't think my semblance can save him…"
Lucy swallowed back the lump in her throat and gently grasped his hand. "We're… we're going to be okay." She said gently, as if she was comforting him. "You can rest now…"
Natsu's breathing slowed down… before he took one last breath and then stopped, his eyes barely open as tears swelled in Lucy's eyes before silently sobbing into his chest as everyone else looked on with tears in their eyes… until Happy raised his arm up, shaping his fingers into an L where the others did the same, doing the Fairy Tail sign while Lucy continued to cry in Natsu's chest.
Centuries later…
The Day After Christmas
"WHAAAAAAAAAT?!" Mine yelled as they were in the McGarden library in Vale. "Tatsumi, I knew your last name was Dragneel but I didn't think you were the descendant of Natsu and Lucy!"
"What surprises me is that you're the descendant of Mirajane. That's pretty cool." Tatsumi said.
"What, did "Strauss" not tip you off?" Mine deadpanned.
"Pyrrha's the descendant of Erza… that doesn't surprise me at all." Weiss said, as Pyrrha let out a giggle. "But to think Sheele is the descendant of Wendy… incredible."
Sheele giggled. "I never realized how cute she was."
"Look at this! Apparently Weiss's descendant is Lyon Schnee!" Nora exclaimed. "Meanwhile, I'm the descendant of Laxus! Woo! I definitely inherited his strength!"
"My descendant's Pantherlily… although I had no idea Lily was actually a guy." Blake rubbed her head.
Esdeath chuckled, looking over at Nesta. "Thanks again for inviting us over."
"Anytime!" Nesta smiled and chuckled. "Some days, I'm still amazed I'm related to Levy."
"Yeah, and I'm the descendant of that Gajeel guy." Ironwood chuckled before patting Nesta on the head with a smirk. "That would explain why you're a shrimp compared to my height."
Nesta sweatdropped, giving him a deadpanned look. Some thing's never change, I guess… She thought.
"Am I surprised that I'm the descendant of Gray and Juvia? Absolutely not." Esdeath giggled. "Though I wonder if I can find the ability to manipulate water…"
"I can't believe Cardin's related to Esdeath." Blake said.
"What I can't believe is that Qrow and Raven are descendants of this Cana chick!" Weiss said.
"Well, that would explain where I got my looks." Sun mused, looking at Sting's face.
"We're related to him?" Leone wondered. "Niiiice!"
"Who's this Millianna chick?" Mine wondered.
"That would be my ancestor." Sienna responded, casually drinking a latte.
"Well, I can see the resemblance." Mine shrugged.
Meanwhile, in Ozpin's office…
Ozpin looked at a picture that he pulled from his desk, seeing Fairy Tail back in the old days. "Heh… I sure miss those kids." He chuckled fondly before he would see Laxus in the corner of the picture. He frowned and then stood up, walking to the elevator and pressing a button, going down a few floors until he stopped, then walked out.
A panel came out of the wall as Ozpin pressed a few buttons as the wall opened up, closing behind him as Ozpin walked over to a large crystal in the room. "For centuries, I've been trying to figure out a way to get you out of that prison…" He stopped walking, seeing a man trapped inside the crystal. "Laxus."
Centuries earlier…
A woman climbed on top of the building, watching Mavis attacking Acnologia. "Ah, so there's the Spring Maiden." She smirked, as she had purple hair and was wrapped in a cloak. "I will deliver her to Mistress Salem."
"I wouldn't count on it."
The woman turned around, seeing Laxus in front of her. "You don't think I didn't notice you on this building? Can't say I recognize you… yet I couldn't help but overhear that you called Salem "Mistress"." He punched his fist into his palm, lightning shooting out of it. "You got a name?"
"It's Amethyst… and it's the last name you will ever hear." She raised a staff up, firing purple diamonds at him but he dodged as she conjured up crystals and then shot it at him, but he destroyed them with lightning attacks.
"Interesting semblance. Never seen crystal making before." Laxus mused. "That said, you want the Spring Maiden? You'll have to go through me." He said as he lunged at her as she would proceed to fight back with a crystal sword, both of them delivering blows.
During their battle, they heard an explosion as Laxus turned around to see Natsu having dealt the final blow to Acnologia. "Huh… what do you know. The bonehead actually did it." He turned around. "As for yo-" Suddenly a field sprung up from underneath Laxus as he was suddenly trapped inside of a crystal. "WHAT THE?!"
"Fool. You messed with the wrong person." She smirked. "I am a follower of Salem and I will trap anyone in my crystals!" She exclaimed as Laxus was slowly put into a deep sleep. "Yes… take your final rest… because when I snap my fingers, I will shatter you into pieces!" She declared, her smirk turning sadistic. "I hope you enjoyed your pathetic life because I will-"
Suddenly, a massive green laser struck her, piercing through her. "Hnnngh!" She grunted, her aura shattering as Makarov had jumped in and used his staff to pierce through her with a massive laser. Once the laser dissipated, Amethyst fell off the building in death.
Makarov turned around to look at Laxus's comatose state. "Laxus… no…" He clenched his fists. "I will make sure I will get you out of there… no matter how long it takes. I will make sure not to shatter your entire body…"
In the present…
Ozpin clenched his fists. "I'm trying to figure out a way to get you out of there… I feel as if I'm close and yet, I do not want to risk shattering you too." He said and closed his eyes. "Laxus… I will get you out of there."
For those guessing that Jaune was the descendant of Natsu... well, it was a good guess!
Ibuki: ...Holy moly, Laxus is alive.
Yup. A man that will be out of his time.
