Two Days Before the Strikers Tournament
"Hah! Yah! Rah!" Yang, in her Shin Form, unleashed a powerful Shoryuken on Ryu, knocking him in the air as he recovered and landed on his feet.
"Heh… not bad. Your Shin Form is a force to be reckoned with. Keep that up and you might surpass even me." Ryu said.
"What, am I still not strong enough to take on that form of yours?" Yang teased.
Ryu chuckled. "Now now, we'll wait until that day arrives."
"That's fair." Yang chuckled.
"Hey Ryu, come here a sec!" Ken called out to him. "Sakura wants to show you something!"
"Be right there." Ryu said and put his hand on Yang's shoulder. "Keep training. You'll master that Shin form in no time."
"Right." Yang smiled as she went back to her normal form and continued to throw punches in the air.
"Your form is impressive."
"Aw, thank you." Yang said as she turned around to see who spoke to her, and saw a demon in front of her. "Mmph!" She stiffened, taking a step back as she was not expecting to see a demon like him around. "Wh-who… who are you?"
"I am Akuma, and I have sensed raw power from you." He said. "The question is… have you mastered it?"
"You could sense power from me?" Yang asked before smirking. "Oh, I see, you wish to know my strength, do you?" She got in her stance, squaring up and pumping her gauntlets. "Alright, you asked for it!"
"Hmph, I can already tell that you're very cocky." He said as he got in his stance.
BGM: Akuma/Gouki (Street Fighter V)
Master of the Demonic Fist - Akuma
"Yaaaah!" Yang lunged into the air and punched Akuma in the face. Akuma would respond by shoving his fist into her gut and sending her flying a few feet. "Mmph!" She grunted as she recovered. Hits like a truck… oh, I'm gonna have fun with this. She thought.
Yang pumped her gauntlets and punched the air as shots launched out at Akuma, but to Yang's surprise, Akuma caught them between his fingers and tossed them to the side. She would then get a face full of Zanku Hadoken, sending her sliding. Yang responded by throwing her own Hadoken into Akuma as he had lunged at her.
He had taken a step back. "You've mastered the Hadoken… how interesting." He said as Yang lunged ahead and delivered powerful right and left hooks, delivering a powerful Blizzaga punch into his gut, however Akuma grabbed her arm and suplexed her.
"Mmph!" Yang grunted as Akuma raised his fist. Yang let out a gasp and rolled out of the way as Akuma punched the ground, which was hard enough to crack the ground. Holy shit! She thought, her eyes looking terrified.
Yang got back up. What is this guy's deal? She thought as Akuma lunged at her and before she could react, she was immediately hit with his Goshoryuken, knocking her in the air and knocking the wind out of her. However, she recovered as she landed on her feet as she jumped up in the air, her fists catching ablaze and Firaga Punching him in the chest, followed by a Firaga Shoryuken to send him back.
"Hmph." Akuma got in a stance as Yang lunged to punch him, but Akuma easily blocked and used Tatsumaki Zankukyaku as a counter, then followed up with a Hyakkishu/Hyakki Goujin to hit her knee. Yang grunted, her hair catching on fire as she delivered strong blows. Akuma blocked a few of these as he delivered a strong kick into Yang's face, his heel hitting her right eye.
"Rrrgh!" She grunted, a dark bruise already forming in her eye as Akuma would then do anoher Hyakkishu, and went Hyaki Gosai, grabbing her by the shoulders and slamming her to the ground. Yang got back up and threw a Hadoken out, but Akuma seemingly vanished before her. "What?!" She yelled as Akuma was behind her and delivered mighty blows to her back to send her sliding several feet.
"You're not calling upon your inner strength. Show me what you're truly made of."
"Alright, buddy boy… you asked for it!" Yang said, immediately going into her Shin form. "Behold the power of my Shin form!"
"Shin, hmm? Perhaps we should even the odds." Akuma said, going into Shin Akuma.
Typical, he has that kind of form too. Yang thought. "LET'S ROCK!"
Pause BGM
Meanwhile…
"So what do you think?" Sakura grinned.
"You're definitely improving." Ryu smiled. "Keep at it and you'll-" He paused for a second.
"Ryu?"
"…Bud, what's with that look?" Ken asked.
"Why am I sensing Yang is in serious trouble?" Ryu wondered before it dawned on him. "No…" He quickly took off.
"Hey, wait up!" Ken ran after him where Sakura tilted her head and decided to after them.
Back with the two fighters…
Resume BGM
The two of them lunged at each other, Akuma swinging his fist as Yang unleashed a Draconic Punch, both of their fists hitting each other's cheeks as they slid back. Aura surrounded Yang's hands. "SHAKUNETSU!" She yelled, unleashing a large fiery golden fireball at Akuma, where he did the same thing as both of them exploded the moment they connected.
Yang's wings came out as she flew up and then came down with a fiery golden kick to his head, followed by swift powerful blows, but Akuma grabbed her fist and then punched her arm to where she lost all feeling for it. "Nnngh! Wh-what…?" She wondered as Akuma shoved his palm into her gut to make her lose balance, but she would breathe fire to engulf Akuma.
Once the fire dissipated, Akuma had his arms folded, still standing. "Not hot enough." He said as Yang let out a gasp as Akuma put his hands together. Yang did the same thing. "Perish." He unleashed his Messatsu Gohado, where Yang unleashed a powerful stream of fire to try and counter it, both of them slamming into each other.
However, Akuma's reigned superior as it easily pushed Yang's back. She let out a grunt as she tried to add more power to it but it was in vain, as the Messatsu Gohado overpowered her and engulfed her. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" She cried as she fell on two knees. Akuma lunged over and unleashed a powerful Palm Strike to her face and then jumped up, pelting her with multiple Tenma Gozankus.
Once the smoke settled, Yang's aura dissipated as she glared at Akuma. She struggled to stand up. "I… I'm not done…"
"Your conviction is admirable. Your strength, along with your Shin Form, is impressive… yet I can sense that you haven't unlocked your true potential." Akuma said. "I will make this quick."
He lunged directly at Yang, ready to finish her off as Yang squared up as he was ready to deal the final blow…
…Until a hand blocked Akuma's attack, belonging to none other than Ryu.
End BGM
"That's enough, Akuma!" Ryu said.
"Ryu." Akuma greeted as he took a step back as Ken and Sakura ran up, but the latter took one look at Akuma and yelped, hiding behind Ken.
"Hah… hah… you two know each other?" Yang asked, struggling to stay standing.
"We have a bit of a history, yes." Ryu nodded. "What exactly are you doing here, Akuma?"
"Hmph, I had sensed raw power, so I made my way over to see where it was coming from, and that's when I saw her holding such power." Akuma said. "Her Shin form is impressive, yet it's not good enough."
"So that's why you decided to come to the Smash Mansion's backyard?" Ryu asked. "There has to be another reason why you came to Remnant."
Akuma smirked. "I came from a portal from our world, but… I wasn't the only one who did. I had sensed a power that I had faced long ago… and now I seek a rematch."
"A rematch with whom?" Ryu demanded.
"Kazuya Mishima."
"If I die, If I can't stop Heihachi… please promise you'll kill him."
"As you wish. When the time comes, I will repay my debt to you."
"And also, unfortunately, my dear son… Kazuya."
"Kazuya Mishima?" Ryu asked in surprise. "You're telling me he's here?"
"Yes… and I wish to strike him down once and for all." He said. "I had gotten sidetracked when I sensed raw power in this world, and I had found it."
"Well, too bad… I ain't this Kazuya bitch!" Yang spat.
"I am well aware." Akuma turned around as he walked away. "Girl, when you have felt that you have mastered your Shin form… come find me. I look forward to our rematch." He said and then disappeared.
"Looking forward to… it…" Yang collapsed, but Ken quickly caught her.
"Easy there…" Ken said. "What do you think, Ryu?"
"Let's take her home. She needs her rest after fighting Akuma."
"Right." Ken nodded.
Later, at Patch…
There was a knock on the door. "Coming!" Summer said as she walked over and opened the door, seeing Ryu holding Yang. "Oh my gosh!" She said in horror. "Quickly, on the couch!" She instructed as they walked in and put Yang on the couch.
"What's going on?" Ruby asked and saw Yang's condition. "Oh my!" She exclaimed and looked at Ryu and Ken. "Were you two rough on her?"
"Nope, you can't blame it on us."
"Okay, was it Sakura?" Ruby asked.
"Hey!" Sakura put her hands on her hips. "Just because I tend to spar with Yang every once in a while doesn't mean I did this!"
"Sorry… so who did?"
"Akuma." Ryu said. "He had sensed Yang's Shin Form and the two duked it out. While it's commendable that she held her own, since not everyone lasts that long against Akuma, she still lost to him."
"Uuuugh… the guy hits like a truck that recently installed boxing gloves…" Yang groaned as Summer came in with a bag of ice.
"Here." Summer said, as Yang held it over her eye.
"So… what the hell is his deal?" Yang asked. "He felt so… demonic."
Ryu closed his eyes. "You might want as well get comfortable. It's a long story."
Meanwhile, at Moonview City near Moonview Highway…
"No… please… I'll do anything! Just please spare me!"
Kazuya smirked. "Hmph, spare you? Don't make me laugh." He said, holding a CEO above a building by his throat. "I control this company now. And there's nothing you will do about it." He let go of him.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" He screamed as Kazuya watched. He let out a sadistic smirk, watching the CEO fall to the highway right as a semi truck came barrelling through and ran him over.
"Hmhmhmhmhm." Kazuya folded his arms with a sadistic smirk and walked back into the building.
