Four Days After They Got Back From Delfino
BGM: Skyloft (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)
Out in their backyard, Ruby and Byleth were both having a friendly spar. Ruby was panting while Byleth, decked out in a dark blue sports bra and short shorts, looked to be on top of things.
"I can see that Yang didn't really teach you anything about hand to hand."
"Oh, she did too…"
"True, but I've seen better. Honestly, I've seen a squirrel punch better than you."
"Alright, that's it!" Ruby growled as she lunged ahead and delivered swift punches to Byleth, who casually weaved her head as she dealt a counter punch to Ruby. Ruby responded by delivering swift punches to Byleth's chest and abdomen, which she soaked in rather well as Ruby went for an uppercut, but Byleth weaved her head again and delivered a hard straight into her gut, making her hunch over as Byleth sweep kicked her to knock Ruby off of her back.
"Oooogh…" Ruby groaned as Byleth got on top of her and delivered the final blow to her face… but stopped just inches from her face, and playfully poked her on the nose.
"Boop~!" Byleth teased.
Ruby sweatdropped. "Someone's hung around Nora too long…" She chuckled as Byleth got up and pulled Ruby up. "Alright, so how did I do that time?"
"Well, you're definitely improving a little bit. However, your form needs work." Byleth said. "Also, your foot work needs the most improvement. See, footwork makes you able to hit harder since you're throwing your whole body weight into it. It allows you to move and zone into those areas where you can find an opening. And it also allows us to move away from oncoming attacks."
"Oh… no wonder Little Mac makes it look easy." Ruby said. "And… Ryu, Ken, Terry and… everyone else."
"Exactly." Byleth smiled. "Also, make sure you don't fall for taunts, it'll make you lose focus fast."
"Wait, that was-"
Byleth winked. "Yup!"
"Can't believe I fell for that…"
Nearby, Ibuki was watching this with Rosalina, Summer, Tai, Dorothea, Yang and Qrow. "Well, at least Ruby-chan's improving little by little."
"She was so focused on her weapons, I didn't think much of hand to hand with her." Yang admitted.
"Yeah, that makes sense." Qrow chuckled.
"Sooooo, Ibuki's curious. With Byleth-chan, her brother and fiance living here, how's the living space?"
"Well…" Tai folded his arms. "We do have a few guest rooms, Raven takes one, Maia has one of her own, so does Qrow. Byleth and Dorothea sleep in Ruby's room, and Bereto… just sleeps on the couch."
Ibuki looked at him in surprise. "What…?"
"Yeah, it's… pretty tight." Summer admitted.
"Oooookay, but what about Rosie-chan? Sometimes she crashes here!"
"Hmm, sometimes I sleep under the stars. I don't really mind it." Rosalina shrugged. "There are times I conjure up another bed, but I really don't mind sometimes."
Ibuki folded her arms, tapping her fingers on her arms. "That's… that's… nope, that's completely unacceptable! You ever thought about remodeling?"
"Yeeeah, but that's kinda expensive just to refurbish everything." Tai said.
"Not if Ibuki has anything to say about it." She got up. "She'll be right back!" She took off running.
A few minutes later…
Everyone would hear the sound of a truck backing up as they would see Ibuki coming in with airport batons in her hands. Said truck having "Super Mario Makers" on the side. "…What in the world?" Yang wondered.
"A little more… a little more!" Ibuki kept backing up before stopping. "Okay, perfect!"
"What's she doing now?" Ruby wondered as the Mario Bros, Toad and Toadette walked out.
"Ibuki told us what's going on." Mario said.
"We're here to make a few adjustments!" Luigi smiled.
"Yeah, we're gonna make the living space a lot more roomier!" Toadette smiled.
"Also, Rosie-chan…" Ibuki turned to her. "Considering at one point, you're going to be living here… Ibuki thought it'd be a good idea to… shall we say, "uproot" your home."
"Well, I'm flatter-wait, did you say "uproot"?!" Rosalina said in surprise as they saw another truck coming in with several Sledge Bros with a tower on the flatbed, said tower being her home. "…My childhood home…" She whimpered.
"What the… GUYS! Ibuki said leave the home intact, not stack it like a Jenga Tower!"
"We couldn't fit it on the flatbed."
Ibuki groaned. "You could've just attached another flatbed, you morons!" She said before turning to Rosalina. "Ibuki's so sorry, she didn't think it'd be like this on the way here!"
Rosalina sighed, shaking her head and chuckled, rubbing the top of Ibuki's head. "I appreciate the gesture… what am I gonna do with you?"
"If we're uprooting Rosalina's home and remodeling it into Patch, perhaps I could assist." A heavenly light shined down as Palutena walked through.
"Assist? Like what?" Rosalina asked.
"Well, how would you feel adding in a hill and putting that tree in your backyard?"
"Placing my mother there? I dunno… I'm not much of a landscaper." Rosalina admitted.
"But I know who does~" Palutena raised her staff in the air as a heavely light appeared.
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
THUD!
"Ooooow…" Viridi groaned before shaking it off. "Dammit Paulie! Can't you see I'm in the middle of remodeling Mount Glenn?!"
"I know, but maybe you could do some landscaping for Patch." Palutena said.
"For this house? Why would I want to do that?" Viridi glanced over at Rosalina's home. "…You're remodeling it into the Rose/Xiao Long house?"
"Yes. I figured the tree in Rosie's backyard would add the finishing touch." Palutena said.
"So… you want me to uproot a grave."
"You can take the grave with the tree."
Viridi sweatdropped. "Okay… if you say so." She said as she raised her hand up in the air as the trees split apart as a hill rose up from the ground along with a pathway. They would see a few Beowolves sparring in the middle of the path. They would look at the large group before deciding to hightail it out of there. "Pesky rodents…" She growled, as the ground opened up and swallowed the Grimm as they disappeared into the hole before she patched it up.
"There we go." Viridi said. "Now then, if you'll excuse me, I need to go to Rosie's old home." She walked off.

Palutena snapped her fingers, as her outfit changed into a construction outfit. "Alright, let's get to work, people! Let's remodel this house!"
"Why do I have this feeling it's gonna get extra?" Tai asked.
"Ibuki?" Summer asked.
"Ibuki."
"Thought so."
BGM: Title Theme - Super Mario Maker (Super Smash Bros Ultimate)
Mario and Luigi put up a ladder leaning against the house as Toad and Toadette started to climb up while the Bros walked into the back of the truck as they started pulling everything out.
"Waaaah, heeeeeel!" Luigi yelped, as a Chain Chomp came bouncing out of the truck, where it would happily start to play with Zwei, Cerberus and Alexander.
The Mario Bros pulled out a few tools as they hopped up on the roof. They walked toward the middle where Toadette had laid down the chalk. "Here's where we think it should go." Toadette said.
"That's-a perfect!" Mario said, pulling out a chainsaw and started cutting through the roof, while inside, saw dust fell on top of Raven while she was taking a nap on the couch.
"Ack!" Raven yelped, sitting up. "What the hell is going on…?" She wondered as the front door opened as Ibuki walked in with some materials in her arms. "Ibuki, what are you doing?"
"Oh, we're remodeling."
Raven sweatdropped. "Uh-huh… second question: Why?"
"Because you need better living space." Palutena said as she walked in with several Sledge Bros walking in.
"Well, I suppose that makes sense…" She said as she heard a loud thud from above.
"Whoops!" Mario said.
Out in the back, Ibuki and Palutena looked around outside. "So… how about an indoor pool?" Palutena asked.
"Yeah, and with a hot tub!" Ibuki added.
"Why stop there? I'm thinking of adding a sauna in there too!"
"Ooooh, that's heavenly~!" Ibuki grinned with her eyes sparkling.
Meanwhile, at the tree at the top of the hill…
A helicopter came flying over. "Alright, this is the spot." Viridi said.
"Mistress, is this really a good idea?" Phosphora asked.
"Please, if humans make this look easy, then a goddess can do better."
"But the only time you flew a helicopter was in GTA IV, and those things fly like a drunken bald eagle!"
"I blame the game engine, and besides, I've improved!" Viridi said, pressing a button as a claw came down and latched onto the tree. "Got it! Now let's get out of here!" She tried to throttle up, but instead, the helicopter immediately started smoking and nose dived into the ground, complete with a fiery explosion.
Viridi crawled out, patting the fire off of her shoulder while Phosphora was a smoldering mess. "That could've gone better…"
"Ya think?" Phosphora coughed out smoke.
"We're gonna need something bigger."
A few hours later…
"Ya know, there's something that seems a little off about this…" Palutena said, seeing extra floors having been added, though it looked a bit hideous.
"Probably because it was done in a few hours and it looks awful." Ruby added.
"Hmm… the Schnee's home looks spectacular and we've easily remodeled Rosie's home…" Palutena folded her arms.
"Well, not like you can just… meddle with space or anything." A Sledge Bro mentioned.
"Space… that's it!" Palutena pounded her fist into her palm. "Palkia!"
"Good thinking, Ibuki ran out of room for a pool table." Ibuki mumbled.
"Hey Arceus, mind if we borrow Palkia for a second?" Palutena telepathically called him as a portal opened up, then Palkia came through it.
"…You couldn't have done that sooner?" Toadette deadpanned.
"Well, I didn't think we needed him." Palutena admitted, sheepishly scratching her head.
Palkia took one look at the home and with a nod, he raised his arms up in the air, the jewels on his arms glowing brightly as he let out a cry, then the perimeter of the home started to glow as it stopped glowing, where everything looked more attached and organized.
Ibuki opened the door. "Holy crap, it's like Harry Potter in here!" She exclaimed.
"What are you talking about?" Summer walked in and saw that it was a lot bigger on the inside. "HOLY CRAP!" She yelled as everyone else walked in.
"Whoa…" Tai said in awe while everyone else looked on in amazement.
First Floor: Living Room with a home theater and fireplace, bathroom, kitchen, dining room with a long table, a cleaning closet, a sparring room, karaoke room, laundry room, an indoor swimming pool with a hot tub and sauna, a back patio with a grill. Stairs to the upper floors. Bedrooms: Tai and Rosalina, Summer, Raven, Qrow. (With private showers)
Second Floor: Game Room - Pool Table, air hockey, foosball and table tennis. Gaming Room with bean bag chairs, complete with a Wii, Switch, Xbox One X and PS5. A study, bathrooms. Bedrooms: Ruby, Yang, Maia (Also with private showers)
Third Floor: Music Room, Yoga room, armory, VR room, bathroom. Bedroom: Byleth and Dorothea, Bereto (Also with private showers and a patio in the former's room)
Fourth Floor: Water slide into the pool area, guest room (with a skylight), space room, observation deck, bathroom
"What's with this space room?" Ruby wondered.
"So you know how Wheatley came down and became best friends with Caboose?" Rosalina asked.
"Yeah?"
"He didn't come alone." Rosalina pointed.
"Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!"
"Yeah, Caboose picked up Wheatley but forgot to pick up the Space Core, so I took him to Rosie's house and we set up a space room. It even has zero gravity!" Palutena added.
"Space. Space. I love space. Spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace!"
"I often come in this room when I want to meditate." Rosalina explained. "As much as I love Remnant, I do miss space from time to time. Which is why I also have that Observation Deck."
"Another question… what's with the elevator?" Tai wondered, staring at it down the hallway. "Was that needed?" He asked, hearing innocent whistling from Palutena and Ibuki. "Ah… I should've known." He chuckled.
"Had a whole concept and Palkia put it all together. Nice." Toadette nodded.
"Indeed. I like it!" Toad said with the Bros agreeing.
"Well, I have to say, you guys went all out… I love it." Byleth said with Dorothea nodding in agreement.
"What the heck?!" A voice said from below as they went down to see Bereto at the front door with Maia.
"Oh hey you two." Dorothea greeted.
"What did we miss? Bereto was showing me around the Mushroom Kingdom and we come back to a whole new home." Maia said.
"It's a long story." Raven chuckled.
"Totally big for all of ya now!" Ibuki smiled.
"Calling it now, you're gonna come crash here all the time." Ruby joked.
"Damn straight!" Ibuki chuckled.
They all heard the sound of a vehicle rolling in as they walked out to see a large crane holding a tree and a large chunk of land to go with it. "Make way, coming through!" Viridi said as she drove around the home as she drove up the hill and then planted the tree at the top of the hill. She would then manipulate the ground to make it more stable for the tree until it was just right.
"Perfect~!"

They would hear the sound of a large comet coming in as the Observatory landed next to their home in the trees, then Rosalina snapped her fingers as the Observatory went invisible. "There, now it won't stick out like a sore thumb."
"You sure that's a good idea?" Palutena asked.
"Oh, I'm pretty sure it'll be fine." Rosalina waved it off, watching a bird fly by.
"Caw! Caw!"
Smack!
"Aiyeee!" The bird came crashing down on the ground, stars circling around it.
"…Mostly." Rosalina sweatdropped as Qrow and Raven both poked the bird with a stick.
"Well, I think that covers that. Have fun!" Mario waved as they drove off as Palutena went back to Skyworld.
"Now if you'll excuse me, I'll be heading back to Mount Glenn." Viridi said as she used a heavenly light to take her back.
"Alright… guess we have a new and improved home!" Tai said, and with a nod, they all walked in… and then the next thing they knew, a lot of Lumas flew inside the home chirping excitedly.
Later…
"Mmph!" Ruby fell on one knee as she had gone for another spar with Byleth.
"Your footwork's improving a little bit. You still got a long way to go though."
"Just one question… why all the hand to hand? Why can't I use weapons?"
"There will come a point where your weapons won't do much. In battle you always have to improvise on the fly, so that's why we're doing this. And, to be fair, you do have your Palm but it can only do so much."
"Makes sense." Ruby nodded as she rolled her shoulders, standing back up as the two of them proceeded to deliver right hooks into each other's cheeks, but Byleth hit harder as Ruby landed on her butt, panting. "Hah… crap…"
"I actually felt that one." Byleth said, rubbing her cheek and then smiled, pulling Ruby up and wrapped her into a hug. "You're improving, that's all that matters." She said, gently kissing her on the head.
"You still hit like a truck…"
"Really? I was going easy on ya." Byleth chuckled. "Come on, I heard mom was making ice cream."
"Tomorrow, I'm gonna wipe the floor with you." Ruby said, walking out of the sparring room with her older sister.
Byleth laughed, ruffling her hair. "We'll see about that."
I remember watching a walkthrough of GTA IV years ago and I've heard several complaints involving how the helicopters suck and have terrible controls. I was like "Y'all are exaggerating, it's not that bad!" So one time I was at my cousin's house and I decided to play GTA IV. I spotted a helicopter and was like "It can't be that bad." So I got in it... and started flying around like a drunken bird before crashing into a building. The second time, I spotted another helicopter and decided to give it another chance. I didn't even lift off the ground that time... the tail went up and I nose dived into the water.
Ibuki: *laughs*
At that moment, I went "Yup, those YouTubers weren't joking. It sucks."
