A Week After The Battle Of Garreg Mach
Akame was sitting on her bed, sharpening her sword while she watched Chelsea giving her Spoink love and affection, the latter smiling happily as can be. "Hmm…" Akame hummed.
"Something on your mind?" Chelsea asked.
"You know, the two of us have Pokemon now, right?"
"Of course."
"Don't you think we ought to, ya know, train them in case someone challenges us to a Pokemon battle?"
"Hmm… ya know, I haven't given it much thought." Chelsea said. "I've just spent time playing with Bebop that it never occurred to me. I bet you didn't think of it much when you and Mitsuki spar either."
"Exactly." Akame nodded and folded her arms. "You think we oughta do something about it?"
"Yeah, who do you think would be the best one to help us out with that?"
Akame rubbed her chin. "I know a girl."
Meanwhile, in Galar…
BGM: Postwick (Pokemon Sword/Shield)
"Hmm…" Hop sat down with a few Power Ups in front of him. "Okay, so let me get this straight here. The Mini Mushroom doesn't turn you into a tiny lass, but you turn into a Surskit and you have the ability to walk on water."
"Yup!" Gloria nodded.
"And the Cape Feather doesn't give you the ability to fly, but it turns you into Hawlucha. Which, honestly, knowing you, it fits." Hop chuckled. "The Frog Suit turns you into a Toxicroak-" He pointed to the Mega Mushroom. "What does this big guy do?"
"Turns me giant and also turns me into a Groudon."
Hop sweatdropped. "Fitting." He then picked up a Super Acorn. "This turns you into an Emolga…" He chuckled. "So, what about the Propeller Mushroom?"
"Honestly, I've never been lucky enough to find one of them but if I do, I imagine I'll turn into somethin' cool."
Hop laughed. "I have to say, your arsenal is incredible. Oh! That reminds me, what does a Super Mushroom do?"
"Nothing. It just gives me an energy boost."
Hop sweatdropped. "Oh sure, the Super Mushroom doesn't do anything yet a Poison Mushroom turns you into a Scolipede."
"Yeah, pretty crazy, huh?"
"Well, at least you turn into a regular Groudon. Arceus knows what'll happen if you go under Primal Reversion."
"Well, I Mega Evolve when I'm a Latias, Lopunny or a Altaria. So who knows, I could Primal Reverse."
Hop laughed. "Yeah, you Primal Reverse when you get royally pissed off as a Groudon!" He chuckled before he immediately got afraid. "…Whatever you do, don't get pissed off as a Groudon. You could end humanity!"
"Relaaaaax, I won't go that crazy." Gloria waved it off.
"Somehow that doesn't help ease my fears…"
"Heeeey, Gloria!"
"Hmm?" Gloria turned her head to see Akame and Chelsea approaching them. "Oh hey, lasses!"
"Sup!" Hop greeted.
"Hey. …Oh, what's with the power ups?" Chelsea asked.
"Oh, Gloria over here was showing me her latest discoveries, one of which actually terrifies me…" Hop shuddered.
"That's cool." Akame said. "So, Gloria, we were wondering if you could help us out with something."
"Hmm? What's up?"
"You think you could help us train our Pokemon?" Chelsea asked. "We… kinda don't know the whole ropes about it."
Gloria smiled. "Oh, of course!" She said. "Mind if I see 'em?"
With a nod, the two of them called out their Pokemon. "Meet Mitsuki the Seviper and Bebop the Spoink." Chelsea said.
"Bloody hell, you got a Seviper?!" Hop said in surprise. "Dang… that's impressive."
"Oh cute!" Gloria smiled, kneeling down and tickling the Spoink on the noise.
"Spoi Poi Poi!" Bebop giggled.
"So, where do ye want to train?" Gloria asked.
"Hmm, about a couple of months ago, I came across this beautiful spot in Dimble Woods. We actually camped there. It was how we met these two." Akame explained.
Gloria smiled. "Sounds to me that'll be the perfect spot." She said with a nod and turned to Hop. "You want to come along, lad?"
"Eh, sure, I've got nothin' better to do." Hop nodded and turned to look at the items. "You sure it'd be a good idea to leave 'em here?"
"Yeah, they'll be fine. Besides, I can already transform into 'em at will." She winked. "Not like any of the Pokemon will give 'em the time of day."
Hop chuckled. "Good point." He nodded as they all walked off.
"Think we oughta get the rest of ATMC involved?" Chelsea asked.
"Yeah, and ya know, let's get Sea5ons too. They all missed out last time, minus Kokoron of course."
"True enough." Chelsea nodded, all of them heading into the portal leading back to the Mushroom Kingdom… where some wind picked up and caused the power ups to roll down the hill of Route 1 and went into some tall grass where some curious Wooloo walked over to these power ups.

BGM: Dimble Wood (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story plus Bowser Jr's Journey)
"It's a shame Dove and Sky couldn't come." Akame said as they wandered through the forest.
"Yeah, well, unfortunately, Dove caught a fever and Sky opted to watch over him." Cardin said. "Poor guy."
"That's too bad." Ling quietly said. "Hope he turn's out okay."
"Same here." Whitley nodded.
"Ah, he'll be alright." Cardin chuckled.
"I'm glad you came with us, Blanche." Ieyasu said as they were far behind the group.
"Yes. You said you wanted to introduce me to your friends."
"Yeah, figured this would've been the perfect time to do so." Sayo smiled. "Though I think we oughta catch up."
"Why are we so far behind anyway?"
"We told them we were waiting for a friend and said we'll catch up." Ieyasu said.
"That and you need to get out of your room more often, miss introvert."
Blanche sweatdropped. "Uh-huh… I could have preferred to stay in my room and draw art for my clients…"
"Ah, where's the fun in that?" Sayo got behind her and pushed her. "Your clients can wait a few extra days."
"Wh-hey! Are you pushing me?!"
Once at the spot…
"Ah, it feel great to come back here!" Kokoro smiled.
"Wow, you weren't kidding when you said this place was beautiful to look at." Whitley said.
"Breathtaking…" Ling said in awe.
"Told ya." Akame smiled and looked at the two Galarians. "What do you think?"
"It's pretty!" Gloria smiled.
"I'll say. It's definitely a sweet view!" Hop chuckled.
Kokoro's ears twitched as she turned around. "Oh, there's Ieyasu and Sayo… and… their friend?" She tilted her head as the others turned around.
"Wait a second…" Cardin narrowed his eyes. "Blanche? Is that you?"
She gave him a soft smile. "It's been a while, Cardin."
"You know each other?" Mine asked.
"Yeah, childhood friends." Cardin chuckled.
"I've heard how much you've changed. You went from being an ass to a kindhearted individual." Blanche let out a chuckle. "Honestly, no matter how many times I've scolded you for you mistreating Faunus, it was in one ear and out the other. What changed?"
"A brush with death over a Magnamalo. RWBY and JNPR took it down. Took the necessary steps to… well, become a better person."
Blanche smiled. "Good, because if you were't, I would've had to knock some sense into you again."
"Ooooh, someone got beaten up by a girl that often, eh?" Chelsea playfully elbowed him.
"No wonder he acted so tough at school, his pride got hurt from being beaten up by a chick." Russel chuckled.
Cardin sweatdropped. "That's enough from the peanut gallery."
"By the way, speaking of school, you haven't written back to me after you left. I was beginning to wonder if you just forgot."
Cardin blushed. "Yeah, I know… sorry for not keeping in touch with ya."
"It's fine. Being in a prestigious huntsman academy would get anyone distracted." She would then turn to Tatsumi. "…Tatsumi, right?"
"Huh? How did you-"
"Sayo and Ieyasu would always talk my ear off about you when we were at school." She explained. "Judging by their description, I'd say they were right on the mark."
"Well, look at mister popular!" Mine teased.
Tatsumi chuckled. "I guess I should be flattered."
"Yeeeeah, I guess we kinda went overboard." Ieyasu sheepishly rubbed his head while Sayo let out a giggle.
"So, what do you propose we do?" Akame asked Gloria.
"Hmm… I've been thinking about that, and I say for the first training session, we do a tag team of sorts."
"Tag teaming?" Chelsea asked.
"Think of it like Double Battles. There may come a point where two trainers will challenge you to a battle, and if you have a partner with you, you'll have to communicate with each other, protect the other's Pokemon and so on."
"Sounds… complicated." Akame admitted.
"Eh, could be worse. We could be in Unova with their own Rotation Battles. I still don't know how they managed to pull that off." Hop rubbed his head.
"Well, apparently the other regions refuse to adopt something so complicated…" Gloria shrugged.
"So, how are we gonna do this?" Chelsea asked.
"Simple. Akame and I will be on one team and you and Kokoro can be on another."
"Wait, we'll be fighting you?!" Chelsea said in shock.
"She won't bite! Sure, she's the champion, but I'm sure she'll go easy on ya!" Hop grinned.
"Oh no, I'm gonna destroy 'em." Gloria said with a straight face.
"WHAT?!" Hop yelled.
Gloria smirked. "Kiddin'."
Hop sweatdropped. "Sometimes, you worry me…" He mumbled.

"Alright, I'm sure we can work with this." Akame said as she and Gloria got ready, as did Kokoro and Chelsea.
"Good luck out there, Akame." Chelsea said to her team leader.
"Same to you." Akame nodded as they all called out their Pokemon.
"Raaaaaaaaaaace!" Cinderace cried.
"Plus Pluuuuuus!" Beat cried happily.
Hop got in between. "Alright, the battle is about to begin between Akame and Gloria vs Chelsea and Kokoro! The battle will end if both Pokemon on either side are unable to continue!"
"Um…" Kokoro shyly poked her fingers together.
"What's wrong?" Gloria asked.
"I… don't know Beat's other moves aside from Helping Hand." Kokoro sheepishly said.
"Oh! Let me take a look here…" Gloria pulled out her Pokedex and scanned the Plusle. "Let's see… ah, got it! It says here that your Plusle also knows Spark, Nuzzle and Quick Attack."
Kokoro nodded. "That's great!" Gloria tossed the Pokedex to Kokoro. "Huh?"
"Just to help remind ye." Gloria winked.
Kokoro smiled. "Got it!" She nodded.
"Alright, let the battle-" Hop threw his arm down. "-BEGIN!"
BGM: Battle! Trainer (Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire)
"Alright, Mitsuki, Poison Tail!"
"Double Kick!"
"Use Spark!"
"Psybeam that Seviper!"
"Pluuuuus… LEEEEEEEEEEEE!" Beat cried, unleashing Spark on the duo while Beat used Psybeam on Mitsuki, but through guidance by Gloria, Cinderace powered through and jumped in, taking the hit from Bebop as Mitsuki lunged at the Spoink with the Poison Tail.
"Bounce up!" Chelsea ordered as Bebop sprung up right as the Poison Tail was about to make contact. "Confusion!"
"Let's add power to that! Helping Hand!" Kokoro instructed as the Plusle brought out pom poms.
"Plus Plus! Plus Plus Pluuuuuuus~!" Beat cheered, then got hit by a Pyro Ball while the Spoink used Confusion on the Seviper.
"Quick Attack!"
Beat lunged at Cinderace, jumping up and headbutting Cinderace but he caught him with his hands and threw him to the ground, then unleashed a point blank Fire Blast. She fights dirty! Kokoro thought with a grimace. "Nuzzle him if you can!"
Beat shook it off and ran up his leg as Cinderace tried to shake him off but Beat held on as he climbed onto his shoulder and Nuzzled affectionately, which in turn paralyzed him. "Spark!"
She catches on quick. Impressive! Gloria thought as Beat used Spark, which in turn hit Mitsuki who had lunged at the Spoink with Poison Fang, but Bebop bounced away and struck him with a Confuse Ray.
"Vi Vi…?" Mitsuki wondered, looking at Cinderace who was trying to fight off his paralysis.
"Focus, Mitsuki! Poison Tail!" Akame ordered, only to watch Mitsuki lunge at Cinderace. "Huh?! No, on Bebop! …Oh, wait, you want to help out Cinderace? That's noble of-" Mitsuki struck Cinderace with the Poison Tail. "-You… what are you doing?!"
"Ah, shite… Confuse Ray confused the hell out of him! He can't tell which one's friend or foe!" Gloria said.
Akame's eyes widened. "Oh crap… MITSUKI! SNAP OUT OF IT!" She yelled.
"Vi…?" The Seviper shook his head, blinking a few times before he hissed at Bebop in annoyance. "Viper Vi!"
"Spoooiiink~!" Bebop giggled.
"Alright, knock that Spoink down a peg with a Night Slash!" Akame ordered as Mitsuki went ahead to strike Bebop, but stopped midway. "…Huh?"
"Viper…" Mitsuki turned around toward a bush. "Viper Vi…"

"Uh…" Hop blinked. "Why is he looking at me like that?"
"I think he's looking at that bush." Chelsea said as the others turned to it.
"Sevi…" Mitsuki glared daggers at the bush.
"Mitsuki? What's wrong?" Akame asked with concern.
Mitsuki said nothing, but instead, his tail glowed purple as he lunged directly at the bush, ready to unleash Poison Tail. "SEEEVIIPEEEER!"
Suddenly, something sprang out of the bush and clashed with the Poison Tail with a Crush Claw attack. It turns out, it was none other than a Zangoose with a noticeable X-shaped scar on his right hand.
BGM: Battle! Rival (Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver)
Hop's eyes widened. "That explains it, there was a Zangoose in there!"
"Sev Seviper!"
"Zang Zangoose Zang!"
"You again…" Gloria said to herself. "Did ye think ye can run from me?"
"You can understand them even in your regular human form?" Hop asked.
"Side effect after transformin' into Pokemon for so long…"
"I don't know what's going on… but why are they attacking each other?" Kokoro asked, a little afraid.
"Lass, those two Pokemon are infamously known to be bitter enemies by nature… more or less bloody rivals who are willing to fight each other to the death." Gloria explained. "Judgin' by that scar on his hand, I'd say they clashed a few times in the past."
"We'll put a stop this. Poison Fang!" Akame ordered as Mitsuki lunged and bit down on the Zangoose, where he retaliated with a Close Combat, kicking the Seviper away as he retaliated by swinging his sharp tail with a Poison Tail attack, slicing his chest.
"Zang…!" Zangoose winced before returning the favor with a Crush Claw, slicing the Seviper's skin as he retaliated by headbutting the Zangoose in the face and then biting down on another shoulder, where Zangoose would use Slash to cut through more of his skin and pried him off of him. The Zangoose would then sharpen his claws together.
Did he just use Hone Claws?! Gloria thought as the Zangoose lunged.
"Dodge it, quick!" Akame ordered as the Seviper jumped back and then used Poison Tail on his left arm, which was enough for blood to drip off of the Zangoose's arm. The Zangoose snarled and used Crush Claw on Mitsuki, where the Seviper used Poison Tail to counter the Crush Claws, only for the both of them to get hit as the Zangoose fell on one knee while Mitsuki was panting a little. "Now, finish it with Poison Tail!"
Zangoose snarled. "ZAAAAAAAAAAAAANG!" He lunged again.
"VIIIPEEEEEEEEEER!"
Mitsuki stabbed the Zangoose in the gut before he could even have a chance to Slash him. "Z-Zan…" Mitsuki pulled away as the Zangoose fell flatly on the ground.

"Phew…" Akame sighed with relief.
"That was close." Tatsumi smiled.
BGM: Tension (Super Mario Galaxy)
However, to their surprise, the Zangoose suddenly got back up with "murder" written in his eyes. "Zang… Zangoose Zang!" (There is no way… I'm allowing myself to lose to a damn Seviper!)
"Viper…?!"
"Are you serious?! It wants to keep fighting?!" Russel exclaimed in surprise.
"It doesn't know when to quit, mate!" Hop said with worry.
Akame grimaced, gritting her teeth. This isn't good… if this battle keeps up, that Zangoose will keep causing more harm to Mitsuki. I need to find a way to end this battle quick!
Gloria shot her eyes directly at Akame as she immediately dug into her bag, then she pulled out an Ultra Ball. "Lass!" She tossed it over to her.
"Huh?" Akame caught it. "What's this for?"
"I know this might sound crazy, but ye have to catch the Zangoose!"
"Wh-what?!" Mine said in surprise. "Catch it?!"
"Are you crazy?! I don't think that's a good idea!" Tatsumi pointed out.
"No, wait, she's got a point there!" Cardin spoke up. "The way I see it, this is the only way we can put an end to this battle quickly! If we don't catch that Zangoose, the situation will only get worse… and there's no telling if Mitsuki will survive this."
Whitley nodded. "I have to agree with him, Akame. It may sound crazy, but it might work! It's either you capture it or we'll be seeing two Pokemon dying in front of us!"
"…Alright." She relented, gripping the Ultra Ball tightly before she threw it at Zangoose, which smacked it on the head.
"Zang?!" The Zangoose yelped before he was sent into the Ultra Ball. It shook for a few seconds as everyone held their breaths in either worry or apprehension, while Mitsuki had his tail brandished just in case if the Zangoose dared to get out.

"Phew…" Akame sighed with relief as Mitsuki lowered his tail. She would then pick it up, and then called out the Zangoose, who was now breathing heavily out of exhaustion while giving Mitsuki the stink eye.
"Hang on, let me treat your wounds here." Gloria pulled out a few Hyper Potions, tossing a few to Ling where the two of them would get right to work on patching the two up.
Akame knelt down near the annoyed Zangoose. "You know, you're pretty good with those sharp claws of yours. I think under my wing, you could be an even better Zangoose. What do you say, Somei?"
Somei? She did NOT just come up with that on the fly! Mine thought. …If she did, I'm calling bull.
Somei folded his arms, deep in thought as he closed his eyes. He reopened them a few moments later. "Zang. Zang Zangoose Zang. Zangoose…" (Very well. I'll join you and your little group. But on one condition…)
How is she that good at translating? Blanche wondered.
"Which is…?" Akame asked.
Somei gave Mitsuki the stink eye. "Zang Zangoose." (Keep that stupid snake out of my way.)
A tick mark appeared on Mitsuki's forehead. "Seviper! Viper Vi Vi!" (I heard that! I could say the same to you, you filthy mongoose!)
Sparks flew out of both Pokemon's eyes, both of them growling while Akame let out a groan. "This is gonna be a nightmare…"
"Sooo, what now? Do we continue the battle?" Chelsea asked.
"Honestly… we might have to call this one a draw." Gloria said.
"You think there might be a spot where we could all cool off?" Hop wondered.
"Well, there's Plack Beach…" Tatsumi said.
"With THOSE eyesores you call rocks? Forget it." Mine rolled her eyes.
"It's either that or making a long trek to either Cheep Cheep Lagoon or Peach Beach."
Mine grimaced, recalling how the Cataquacks typically behave in the latter. "Fiiiine, Plack Beach it is."
Later…
BGM: Beachside Dream (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story plus Bowser's Inside Story)
"Aaaah, feel the sunshine~!" Chelsea smiled, decked out in a bikini along with the other girls while the guys were out with swimming suits on.
"Where's Gloria? I thought she was coming." Cardin said.
"Said she'd be a moment." Whitley responded, glancing over at Tatsumi, Ieyasu and Russel were oggling over the girls in their swimsuits (Minus Kokoro), which caused Mine and Sayo to get completely annoyed with them.
"Not sure why you're so annoyed, Mine. You're practically an ironing board." Chelsea teased.
"OH SHUT UP!" Mine yelled.
"Men…" Blanche mumbled, hiding her chest over her arms.
"…You're still self conscious about your figure?" Cardin asked.
"I can't help it if I'm this way…"
"Come on, Blanche. It's only natural that you're… curvy."
"Not by choice!" She groaned. "I should have my clothes back on, but Sayo wanted me to get a tan. Personally, I'd rather get a tan with my clothes on…"
Whitley sweatdropped. "That's… not productive."
"Ah, let her be. So she's shy about how big she is on both sides, she'll come around." Ling said.
Blanche immediately went a darker shade of red with steam coming out of her ears. "They're not big… yeah, they're bouncy but they're not big…" She mumbled.
"Sorry for the wait!" Gloria called out as she walked over to them, wearing her Summer outfit from Pokemon Masters. "Couldn't decide if I wanted to put me hair in a bun or not.'
Everyone, minus Hop, stared at Gloria in disbelief. "What." Whitley spoke up
"The…" Mine stared.
"HELL?!" Chelsea exclaimed.
"Aww, she looks cute in that!" Kokoro smiled.
"Who are you and what did you do with Gloria?!" Cardin exclaimed in shock.
"Eh? What do ye-"
"Knowing your personality, I was expecting something more… punk rock or ya know, plaid!" Akame said.
"Plaid swimmin' gear… good one." Gloria laughed. "I'd think that'd give Coco a migraine."
"Took me by surprise too when I first saw it, but she makes it work." Hop shrugged it off.
Gloria snickered. "Guys, relax. I'm still the same ass kickin' Scot ye know and love. I just wanted to look cute."
"Well… you definitely fit the part, that's for sure." Mine chuckled.
"Alright, who's up for some beach volleyball?" Ling asked.
Later…
"Hmm…" Cardin stared at Chelsea from a distance, having a soft blush on his face.
"Ye like her, don't ye?" Gloria asked.
"Yes… but only platonically."
"Uh-huh…" Gloria smirked. "So tell me, if the lass was the last person on Remnant, would ye date her?"
"Of course not!"
"And why's that?"
"Because Chelsea would be my first pick no matter what because she's the only girl I'd ever date!" He said proudly, only to realize what he just said given Gloria giving him a smug look.
"Did he just admit it?" Whitley asked.
"Took him long enough." Ling snickered.
"Atta boy, boss!" Russel gave him a thumbs up and a wink.
"Gotcha~" Gloria winked.
"…You smug Scottish bitch." He grumbled, causing Gloria to giggle.
Nearby, Chelsea had hidden behind a tree, blushing a deep red. Of course Cardin would blurt it out, the man doesn't have an inside voice. Oh goodness… he feels the same way I feel about him! But… we're just in a platonic relationship, right? She clutched her chest as her heart was beating fast. Who am I kidding… he's so cute and… aaaagh, don't be a hopeless romantic… knowing that idiot, he didn't mean to blurt it out!
She took a deep breath and exhaled. Yeah, he didn't really mean it. …Or did he? Oooh, Cardin… you lovable idiot! Why do you have to be so cute!
Blanche stared at Cardin chewing out Gloria while the latter casually had her hands behind her head. "So, Cardin likes Chelsea now…" She said softly before forming a soft smile. "Honestly, I don't think it would have worked out between us anyway. Good for him…" She chuckled to herself.

Later into the night…
"What do you know, she can make something besides curry." Russel playfully snarked, eating some teryaki stir fry.
"I can make other things besides curry… it's just that curry is really easy to make." Gloria admitted.
"If you want, I could give you a few of my recipes." Akame offered.
Gloria smiled. "Oh, sure, I wouldn't mind."
Cardin, meanwhile, checked on an incubator that he had brought with him. "Hmm…" He looked at the egg that was inside.
"Wait, where did you find this egg?"
"Over at Battle Belt. Thought you might like it more than us, big guy." Coco smiled.
"Um… thank you?"
Cardin chuckled. "Can't believe they decided to give me this incubator a few days after we got back from that Phazon War." He said.
"Hmm…" Hop studied the egg.
"What do you think'll pop out?"
"Who knows mate, judging by how the egg looks, it could be either a Ground or a Dragon type." He shrugged. "Maybe a bit of both."
Cardin sweatdropped. "What do you mean "a bit of both"?"
Near the water, Mine decided to put her sleeping bag on the beach. "Sleeping under the stars next to the sea… that's a great idea." Mine giggled, closing her eyes and slept… completely unaware that it was high tide.
The next morning…
"Mine? Miiiiiine! Where are you?" Akame called out.
"Oi! Lass! Where are ye!" Gloria called out as well.
"I tried looking through the forest with Kokoron, we couldn't find her anywhere." Chelsea said.
"She wasn't in a cave." Hop spoke up.
"Oh, now where could she have gone?" Tatsumi wondered.
Nearby, a Slowpoke rested on a rock. "Slooooow…" Slowpoke yawned, unconsciously dipping his tail in the water.
CHOMP!
It immediately yanked its tail out of the water, seeing a Shellder had bitten into it. "Slowbro…" The Slowbro simply shrugged it off like it was no big deal and would go back to his nap. However, right as he drifted off, he would see a sleeping bag out in the distance. He went back to sleep… only to snap awake and saw the sleeping bag again.
"Bro Bro!" Slowbro dove into the water and swam to the sleeping bag. It was already being brought back by a concerned Gorebyss. The Slowbro would reach for an end and brought it back to shore.
"Mmm…" Mine yawned as she woke up. "Man… it felt like I was flying through the air in my sleep…" She said and looked up to see the concerned Slowbro and Gorebyss looming over her.
With the others…
"Miiiiiiiiiine!" Cardin called out.
"KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Mine screamed as they turned around to see her screaming over the Slowbro and Gorebyss. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO AND WHY WERE YOU STARING AT ME LIKE PERVS?!"
"Oh there are you are!" Akame said. "Oh, two new Pokemon?"
"Hey, that's a Slowbro and a Gorebyss!" Hop said as Gloria walked over and knelt down, seeming to have a conversation with them.
"Slowbro Bro Bro Slow."
"Gore Gor Gor Byss Gore."
"Mhm… uh-huh… I see." Gloria turned around. "They're saying that because of the high tide, the lass was swept away. Gorebyss found her in the deep sea about a half an hour ago."
"I WAS WHAT?!" Mine yelled.
"Really… Remnant gets high tides?" Hop looked up at the sky. "Especially when the moon is completely shattered?"
"Apparently so." Gloria nodded.
"How come no one warned me it was high tide! I could've slept with you guys!" Mine exclaimed.
"We didn't know." Chelsea shrugged.
Mine sweatdropped. "Of course you didn't." She mumbled as she turned to the Pokemon. "Thanks, I guess?"
"…Wait a second." Hop mused. "Gloria, Mine has a sniper rifle, yes?"
"Yeah, why?" An idea popped into Gloria's head. "Oooh, those two would be perfect for her!"
"Eh?" Mine tilted her head as Gloria scanned the two.
"Yeah, like that Gorebyss could help snipe her enemies and the Slowbro could help protect her when an enemy is close to her." Gloria mused, looking into Slowbro's moveset. "Zen Headbutt, Water Pulse, Razor Shell and Rain Dance… yeah, that's perfect!"
"What about the Gorebyss?"
"Scald, Hydro Pump, Draining Kiss and Aqua Ring. These are pretty good ones!"
"Wait, are you suggesting-" Mine would be handed two Dive Balls. "W-wait a second!"
"Hey, they saved your life." Whitley pointed out.
Mine turned to the duo. "So… you want to come with?" She asked as they both nodded. "Alright then." She tossed the Dive Balls at them where they would both shake and then clicked a few seconds later. "I guess they were willing."
"Shoot… now I gotta find one." Tatsumi chuckled.
"Oh, I'm sure you'll find one, lad." Gloria smiled.
"Hey boss?" Russel spoke up.
"Yeah?" Cardin turned his head.
"Your egg's glowing."
"Huh? …Oh!" Cardin walked over to the incubator and saw that it was glowing. He pulled the egg out as it started to crack, before the Pokemon hatched.
"…Gib?"
"Hey, it's a Gible!" Hop grinned.
"Gib! Gible!" The Gible cried happily at Cardin.
Cardin grinned. "Hey, nice to meet ya, little guy." He said, patting him on the head.
Chomp!
"Mmph!" Cardin yelped, pained tears forming in his eyes as the Gible gave him a playful bite. "YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" He cried, trying to shake him off with Chelsea, Kokoro and Whitley trying to pry him off.
"Aww, he's just giving you a kiss!" Gloria smiled.
"THIS IS A PAINFUL KISS, GLORIA!" He yelled as they pulled him off. "Ooooow… love hurts…" He mumbled as the Gible gave him an affectionate hug right after.
Gloria's phone went off soon after. "Hmm?" She pulled it out. "Oh, Marn's textin' me."
"Have you seen the news in Galar yet?"
"No, why?"
"Ya might want to take a look. Sending you a link."
Marnie sent a news article that Gloria immediately read:
"Giant Wooloo terrorizes Galar, former champion Leon believes it is a Dynamaxed Wooloo but is considered to be smaller compared to a regular Dynamaxed Wooloo. Witnesses also claim to see a Wooloo wearing a luchador costume, a Wooloo on a glider, a tiny Wooloo riding on the Luchador Wooloo and a Wooloo was seen swimming around wearing a Politoed costume." Gloria read aloud.
"Huh… that's weird." Hop said. "First a luchador Pikachu and now a luchador Wooloo. What could be next?"
"I'm more curious about how a Wooloo can hang on to a glider…" Akame said.
"…Mate, why are you shaking like a leaf?" Hop asked.
"Oh shite… oh shite oh shite oh shite…" Gloria grimaced and turned to Hop. "Lad… do any of these ring a bell to you?"
"Well, the luchador kinda sou- OH CRAP! THE POWER UPS!" He yelled.
Gloria immediately turned into her Latias form. "Sorry guys, gotta go do something real quick!" She immediately flew off.
"Hey! Heeeeey! Wait for me!" Hop ran after her.
"Soooo… wanna go get some sea salt ice cream?" Cardin asked.
"Sure!" Sayo nodded as they all headed back to Toad Town.
As for Galar…
"BAAAAAAAAA!" The giant Wooloo cried happily as it pranced about without a care in the world. A Wooloo on a paraglider glided through the region while a Noivern raced it. A Luchador Wooloo leapt off of a rock and suplexed a Snorlax with the tiny Wooloo cheered it on, while the Frog Wooloo happily swam in the water while confusing some Jellicent.
Gloria and Hop stared at this in disbelief. "How are we gonnae wrangle all them up?"
"I have… no idea…" Hop sweatdropped.
Marnie walked up to them. "Why do I have a feelin' you two were behind this?" She asked with a teasing smile.
"Uh… it's… complicated." Hop rubbed his head.
Marnie giggled. "Can't wait to hear it after we're done with this." She walked off. "Come on, let's wrangle them up."
Gloria sighed. "I'm never gonnae hear the end of this…" She said as the three of them wandered off to wrangle the Wooloo.
Ibuki: Aww, event Wooloo! Ibuki wants the Luchador one!
I think everyone would want that.
