Mukuro leaned on the side of the couch, bored while eating a few chips. "All these years and they still let these morons monologue? At this point, just have Pikachu electrocute their butts mid-motto."
"Eh, they're stupid, what are you gonna do." Junko shrugged it off as she was looking through her computer.
"Fair enough." Mukuro chuckled. "Hey, have you made any progress with finding the other Ultimates?"
"I feel like I'm closing in on them." Junko said. "Should just be aaaany moment no- holy crap, two of them?!"
"Huh?" Mukuro looked over at Junko. "That was quick!"
"Tell me about it!" Junko nodded as Mukuro went over to see what Junko found.
"Who'd you find?"
"Well, look at these headlines: "Local Baseball Star makes his hundredth home run in a row in Mario Stadium."
Mukuro raised an eyebrow. "Interesting head-... wait, you don't think…?"
Junko clicked on the link. "See for yourself."
Mukuro looked in. "...That's Leon!"
"Yup! Apparently he's hanging around at Mario Stadium."
"So who else did you find?"
Junko smiled. "Well, here's another headline I found: "New Pop Idol Group Rising In Inkopolis, Ink Fresh, With Their Number One Single: Inkjets."."
"Hold on…" Mukuro read the rest. "Squid Sisters Nervous Worry The Duo Will Be Forgotten"?" She let out an annoyed sigh. "Talk about desperate clickbait…"
"Apparently, this group consists of two Inklings, two Octolings and one human." Junko said. "How many pop sensations do we know?"
"Well, let's see, Sea5ons-"
"I meant to add "Ultimate" to that." Junko sweatdropped.
Mukuro's eyes widened. "Sayaka!"
"Bingo!"
Mukuro smiled. "So, who should we tackle first?"
"I'd say we get the closer one out of the way first." Junko got up. "Come on, let's go to the stadium!"
"Yeah!" Mukuro nodded as they walked out. "...Whoops, hold on." She grabbed the remote.
"Looks like Team Rocket's blasting off agaiiiiin!"
"WOOOOOBBUFFET!"
"Yeah, yeah, we know… you'll be back in the next episode." Mukuro rolled her eyes and turned off the TV, then she walked out with her sister.
At Mario Stadium…
BGM: Mario Stadium (Mario Super Sluggers)
A machine stayed still at the pitch, aimed directly at the person at bat. The batter stayed motionless, ready to swing his bat at the moment it came within reach.
The machine turned on a slot machine, before stopping which revealed a Bullet Bill as it shot at the batter. He tightened his grip, readied himself as he pulled his bat behind him and gave a mighty swing as the Bullet Bill had flipped around and exploded high into the air.
"Heheheh. You love to see it." He smirked as he got ready again, this time the machine shot out five Bob-ombs at once, which he was able to swing his bat in quick succession, resulting in them exploding like fireworks.
"Hoo yeah! This is what baseball has been missing!" He declared in excitement and got ready again, this time the slot machine hit "Fire Flower". He tensed up. He knew exactly what that meant.
A Bob-omb shot out at him that felt like the speed of light as he gave it a good swing, but just barely missed as the Bob-omb sailed past him.
Junko and Mukuro had walked in… where the Bob-omb sailed toward them at a rapid pace. "What the-?!" Junko yelped as Mukuro quickly jumped in and kicked the Bob-omb hard enough to send it into the air and exploded into fireworks shortly after. "Phew…"
"Sorry, that's my bad!" He called out to them. "...Wait, I know you two."
Junko smiled. "Hey Leon."
End BGM
The Hope Sisters approached Leon. "Fancy meeting you all the way out here." Leon said. "I had a feeling I'd see my other classmates."
"Oh, you already ran into a few?"
"Yeah, I ran into the likes of Kyoko, Asahina, Naegi and Sakura. The moment I met Makoto, I apologized to him after what I did to Sayaka. What caught me off guard was the fact he had easily forgiven me over it."
"Yeah, he's like that." Junko nodded.
"I also ran into Chihiro… I didn't know he was a robot this whole time, hell, I didn't know Chihiro was a dude this whole time." He rubbed his head. "I did find this cute girl that he hangs out with sometimes. What was her name again… Chia… ko? Chiasi?"
"Chiaki." Mukuro corrected.
"Yeah, her! Unfortunately, she's taken by this Hinata person. I did find another cute girl, Futaba, I believe." He sighed. "Taken by some girl… Jade, I believe."
"You know, I'm surprised you're not wanting to get back at us from what we did to you back at Hope's Peak." Mukuro said.
"Well… at first, I was absolutely furious when Makoto told me you two were alive and well. I wanted to crack both of your skulls in, yet Kyoko pointed out you two were seeking redemption and both of you had changed. Makoto talked me out of bashing your skulls in and… while I am still pretty peeved seeing the both of you, I'm not as pissed as I used to be."
"Yeah… I came over to apologize after all that." Junko said.
"Nah, it's cool. Personally, if I was an ultimate analyst, I'd get bored too…"
"You got bored playing baseball, correct? Why are you still playing it?" Mukuro asked.
"Simple. Unlike in my own world, the Mushroom Kingdom's baseball is vastly different. You got Bob-ombs, Bullet Bills… I call it extreme baseball and believe me, it reignited the passion I had for it. True, I still resent practicing, but there's something about the thrill of batting away bombs and missiles away with your baseball bat that I can't get enough of!"
Junko chuckled. "Yeah, that'll do it… by the way, speaking of trying to score women, have you tried anyone else?"
"Yeah, there was this girl, I believe her name was… Mioda?"
Uh oh… Both of them thought.
"Yeah, Ibuki Mioda. The ultimate musician herself. Boy, I thought she'd be the one."
"Too wild for ya?" Junko asked.
"Nope, nope… I could get past her wild stuff and her quirky way of referring to herself in the third person… what I couldn't get past was her loud music. Seriously, no one else is bothered by that? It felt like my ears were bleeding!"
"You get used to it." Mukuro said.
"Even so! I couldn't even hear myself think or talking to her so I was like "Forget this!" and walked off."
Meanwhile…
"So, you had someone approach you to ask you out?" Rosalina asked.
"Yeah, he was pretty cute… unfortunately, Ibuki wanted to body check him through the stage because he only wanted to pick up chicks with music." Ibuki shook her head. "Honestly, Rosie-chan… even Ibuki hates that stuff."
Rosalina sweatdropped. "Yeah, I can imagine that."
Back with the trio…
"How much do you want to bet that's not the whole story?" Mukuro whispered.
"You too?" She whispered back.
"Anywho, I've just been out here playing extreme baseball and having the time of my life. Of course, when I'm not doing baseball, I'm helping out at the Future Foundation… and wondering why the hell Celeste decided to willingly become a vampire."
"Because she's friggin' wild, dude!" Junko said and then shuddered. "I should know…"
Leon nodded. "Right… oh, by the way, you want to go and play a round of baseball?"
Junko chuckled nervously. "No thanks, we're allergic to… blowing up."
Leon laughed. "Ah, I get ya. It's not for the faint of heart with what i'm doing. If you feel the need to, you know where I am." He said as the sisters nodded, then they walked away. "...Oh, wait, Mukuro!"
"Hmm?"
"You want to go out for dinner later?"
Mukuro blushed. "Um… well, I… sorry, I'm-"
Dammit. Leon thought. "Nah, it's cool. I figured it was a long shot." He chuckled as the two of them walked away while Leon turned around and resumed his game.
"Alright, Leon's down… now that just leaves Inkopolis."
"Where exactly is that anyway?" Mukuro asked.
"Remember the Smash Mansion?"
"Smash Mansion… oh! The place where we aided Chiaki with her wild bread monster experiment, right?"
"Exactly! Beat you there!" Junko ran off.
"H-hey! Wait up!" Mukuro ran after her.
Once at Inkopolis…
BGM: Monochrome Answer (Danganronpa)
Mukuro sweatdropped, seeing a bunch of Inklings and Octolings meandering around. "This is… interesting."
"Not used to it, eh?"
"Not really." Mukuro said. "I'm not used to anthropomorphic squids and octopi."
"That's understandable." Junko nodded. "Now then, let's see if we can't find Sayaka."
"Agreed." Mukuro said as they started to walk around, until Mukuro stopped. "Wait a second, this song…"
"Oh, the song? I figured that's just playing on the radio."
"No, I think it's being played live."
"You think so? Then where do you think Sayaka's at?"
Mukuro turned her head to see several Inklings and Octolings running toward a spot. "Call it a hunch. Come on." She walked after the Inklings and Octolings, where Junko walked after her, and once they got closer, they would see five girls on the stage, one of them human compared to the rest.
"Well, i'll be damned." Junko smiled as they watched Sayaka sing her heart out as the Inklings and Octolings sang and danced with her, as everyone else was jamming to it while cheering them on.
"She's got a good singing voice."
"Yup."

Once the song was over, Sayaka waved to the crowd. "Thank you!" She called out to them. "You've been a lovely audience! We'll be giving out autographs soon!" She said as the crowd went wild while Junko and Mukuro simply clapped.
"So, how do you want to talk to her?" Mukuro asked.
"Oh, I have a few ideas."
Several autographs later…
"Thank you!" Sayaka smiled. "Next!"
"Hey, you were really good out there. Mind if you sign my T-Shirt?"
"Of course! And who am I signing it for?"
"Junko Enoshima."
"Alright~!" Sayaka pulled the lid off of her marker and started to write. "To my number one-" She paused mid-writing as she looked up to see Junko.
"What ya stoppin' for?" She smiled.
Sayaka paled, letting out a small whimper. "...Oh crap."
"Hey girl." Junko greeted.
"Um… h-hi… Ju-Junko…" Sayaka stuttered.
"Relax. I'm not here to cause anymore despair. That's so last me." Junko smiled.
"You… you're serious?"
"Yup!"
Sayaka breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank Squid…"
"So, new band in Inkopolis, eh?"
"Can… can we talk later? I need to sign more autographs for the fans."
"What fans?" Junko asked as Sayaka looked to see that she and Mukuro were the last ones in line.
"...Oh. How did I not even-" Sayaka blushed. "That's embarrassing."
"Think we could go somewhere more private?" Mukuro asked.
"Well… I suppose we can go to my apartment."
"Great!" Junko smiled.
One trip to Sayaka's apartment later…
"You call this an apartment? It's a little too big." Junko said.
"Well, my bandmates are also my roommates." Sayaka smiled.
"Ooooh, that makes sense."
"Oh! Speaking of my bandmates, I should introduce you to them." She pointed to a light pink Inkling that had her tentacle hair in a ponytail, wearing designer headphones, a Zapfish Satin Jacket, and Neon Sea Slugs. "That Inkling over there is Coral."
"Hiya~!" Coral waved.
She pointed to a red Inkling with short tentacle hair, wearing a Knitted Hat, a Grape Tee and Black Trainers. "That Inkling playing video games is Fugu."
"Sup."
She then pointed over to an icy blue straight tentacle haired Octoling who wore noise cancellers around her neck, an icewave tee and Blue Iromaki 750s. "That's Titania."
"Pleasure to meet you."
And finally, she pointed to a purple short tentacle haired Octoling who wore Retro Specs, King Jersey and Cream Basics who was reading a magazine. "And finally, her name's Star."
"Yo."
"And then you have me, and together, we formed Ink Fresh." Sayaka smiled.
"Sounds like you've been making a name for yourself." Junko said.
"Well, yeah… I wake up in this strange world and I see Inklings and Octolings around. Apparently they liked music as much as they do with Turf Wars, so I thought I'd sing for them. Over time, I got these girls' attention, and the rest is history."
"Yeah, but apparently, there's this column where we might surpass the idol sensations that are the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook. We may be good, but we're nowhere NEAR as good as those two." Titania said. "That said, they do admire us and they're actually fans of our work."
"Yeah!" Sayaka giggled. "They even give some advice every now and then."
"They see the potential in you. Admirable." Mukuro smiled.
"So yeah, apparently a universal reset is what brought me back and I'm assuming it did the same for you."
"Yeah, and, I've been working hard to like, apologize for what I've done. Considering-"
"You don't have to apologize. I can tell that you're not the same psycho as before. I can see that you and your sister are doing everything you can to make amends… and with that, I find that commendable." Sayaka smiled.
"Wait, really?" Junko asked in surprise.
"Yup." Sayaka nodded.
"Well, that's cool." Junko smiled. "Say, uh… I'm surprised you didn't reincarnate as an Inkling or an Octoling."
"Well, i'm fine being human in all honesty… wait, why did you think-"
"Because Celeste became a vampire and Chihiro's a robot." Mukuro said.
Sayaka blinked. "Eh?"
"Yeah. What she said." Junko nodded.
"Goodness, I imagine the universal reset screwed some people's genetics up…" Sayaka mused. "Well, as long as they're happy with it…
I wouldn't call it genetics getting screwed up… Mukuro thought.
"Oh, that reminds me… since you're back alive and all, you're aware of a portal that can take you to this Smash Mansion, right?"
"Oh, of course!" Sayaka nodded. "I've actually been in there one time. I will admit, some of the people there are a bit intimidating… like this girl that holds a scythe gun, what the heck is that about? It scared the heck out of me, especially with that dang smile like she's happy to cut your head off or something!"
Meanwhile…
"Achoo!" Ruby sneezed. "Ugh, dumb allergies…"
Back at Inkopolis…
"And then there's this spiky haired boy who wields some giant key as a weapon. It's like he bashes in people's heads for a living!"
Junko and Mukuro sweatdropped. "Too much ink in her ears?" Mukuro whispered.
"No idea…"
"There was also the time I got lost in the portal room… I wound up in a place that was too scary. It looked so peaceful, and then I see a pink puffball come along and eat everything in sight! That's not natural!"
The sisters sweatdropped again. "I… see." Junko said.
This girl's something else… Mukuro thought.
"And then I wind up at some island and I see this kid with blank yellow eyes… it was like he was staring into my soul!"
At Alola…
"Ah… ah… ACHOO!" Umber sneezed. "Ugh… was it that Comfey I sniffed earlier?" He wondered to himself.
Inkopolis…
"Well, uh… have you ever wandered into the Mushroom Kingdom?" Junko asked.
"Yes, I have… those sentient mushrooms scare me. And what's with the eyes on the hills and clouds? It's like I was being watched every second!"
Mukuro sweatdropped. "You get used to it."
"Well, there's actually someone there." Junko said.
"Oh?"
"I'm sure Makoto Naegi rings a bell, right?"
Sayaka's eyes widened. "Ma-Makoto?!"
"Yup! I'm sure he'd be thrilled to see you." Junko smiled.
Sayaka's eyes sparkled for a few moments before the sparkles disappeared, looking down. "Makoto…"
"What's wrong?" Mukuro asked.
"It's just… what I did to him." She mumbled. "I was going to kill Leon and then frame it on Makoto…"
"Oh right, you guys switched rooms for a night. I forgot about that." Junko nodded.
"I had to do something to get out of that hellhole just so I could see the world again… do whatever it took to survive…" She trembled. "I know Makoto has a kind soul and I know he will probably forgive me for what I did to him…" She looked up at them with tears in her eyes. "But I can't bring myself to look him in the eyes after what I tried to do! Not only that but… I… I can't forgive myself for what I've done…" Tears fell from her eyes, as her makeup started to run down her cheeks as well.
"Sayaka…" Coral put a comforting hand on her arm.
Mukuro closed her eyes, thinking about Makoto herself. I can relate… I can't bear to look at him either.
"Yeah… that'll do it." Junko knelt down and offered her her handkerchief. "Dry your tears, Sayaka…"
"Thank you…"
Junko sighed. "I guess it brings back painful memories, huh?"
"Yeah…"
"Hmm… say, how about we cheer you up?"
"With what?"
"Well, we could always just ink each other silly in Inkopolis, what do you say?"
Fugu gasped. "That's a great idea! We can splat each other to our heart's content for a while!"
"I know the perfect spot. Camp Triggerfish!" Star spoke up.
Sayaka smiled. "Sure. I'm down for that." She said.
"Alriiiiight! Let's rock and roll!" Junko grinned.
"...We need a weapon." Mukuro spoke up.
Sayaka giggled. "I know a guy."
Later…
"Whoa whoa whoa!" Junko said as she and Mukuro were on one end and the Ink Jets were at the other. "How's this fair?!"
"I'm guessing team balance doesn't apply to Inkopolis."
"Welp, I think we're screwed."
"Nonsense. I'm sure we can win this easily."
"How so?"
Mukuro brought out her Dualie Squelchers. "You're talking to a veteran here. This'll be easy."
"If you say so…" Junko nodded, holding an Inkbrush. "Let's rock!"
BGM: Ink or Sink! (Splatoon)
The Hope Sisters hopped down as Junko immediately went straight ahead while Mukuro flanked to the left, staring at the water before her. The Inklings and Octolings don't take kindly to water… however, I'm not a native here! She thought, pulling out a rebreather and dove into the water, swimming along and concealing herself in the water.
Junko quickly peeked behind a corner and then quickly made a run for it, only to get narrowly hit by a Splatterscope shot. "Wah!" She yelped as she hid behind cover as she looked over to see Fugu with the Spatterscope in her hands. Crap, she's a sniper! She thought, shifting her eyes to see Coral flanking her with her Carbon Roller and swinging it down at her, but Junko rolled out of the way and swung her Inkbrush, clashing with Coral's Carbon Roller as the two swung their weapons while getting ink on each other.
A Splat Bomb was thrown to her from behind, courtesy of Fugu throwing one as she turned her head. Her eyes widened as she quickly dove for cover as the Splat Bomb exploded, however, mid dive, Coral swung her carbon roller down. "OOOF!" She grunted, hitting a wall. Damn, that packs a punch!
She pulled out a Splat Bomb of her own, throwing it down near Coral as she quickly hid in her own ink to get away from it, then Junko got back up and started to ink the ground to try and hit Coral from within the ink, unaware that Titania Inkjumped to Coral and threw down her Trislosher at her, hitting Junko square in the face. "Ack!" She yelped as Coral came up and swung her Carbon Roller.
Mukuro climbed out on the other side, taking off her rebreather and then started to climb up a wall and snuck over to where Fugu was at, aiming at Junko who was struggling to keep up with an Inkling and an Octoling. "Target acquired." She smirked as she aimed her Dualies at her and started firing at her from behind.
"Yagh!" Fugu yelped as she turned around, only for Mukuro to sweep kick her down and off the platform. "Waaaah!"
Thud!
Mukuro hopped down and shot her face. "Target down." She peeked her head out of the corner to see Star with the Ballpoint Splatling. That looks like a machine gun… She thought as she looked over at the downed Fugu and had an idea, quickly grabbing her and using her as a meat shield.
"Wah! Don't shoot!" Fugu yelped as Star's eyes widened.
Kelp, I can't hold the trigger for much longer! She thought as Mukuro threw down a Point Sensor at Star, which in her mind, thought it was just a Splat Bomb. "Wah!" She yelped as she jumped to the side, accidentally letting go of the trigger. "Ah squid!" She exclaimed as Mukuro ran ahead with Fugu acting as a shield.
"Ow ow ow ow ow ow ow OW!" Fugu cried as Mukuro threw Fugu into Star to knock them both down as Mukuro shot Star's head immediately over.
"Both targets down." She said and jumped back into the water, but not before snagging Fugu's Splatterscope.
"Oooogh… sorry Fugu…"
"It's okay…" Fugu groaned.
Junko got up, attempting to lather up Coral and Titania, but they were easily able to go into their ink and get away from Junko. "Rrrgh!" Junko growled as she tried to swing her Inkbrush down to try and hit the two, but to her dismay, the girls were faster as they popped up from different angles as Coral leapt into the air with a smirk on her face…
…Until a Splatterscope shot hit her in the face. "Argh!" She yelped, missing her mark as Junko turned around and swung her Inkbrush into Coral's face, knocking her on her back as she let out a groan.
"What the?!" Titania turned around, quickly hiding in the ink. Did that other girl steal Fugu's weapon? She thought to herself as she emerged from behind a wall, turning around to try to see where she was at, only to get ink on the side of her face from a different ankle. "Ack, squid!" She yelped as Mukuro jumped over and knee'd her in the gut to knock her down.
"Targets eliminated."
"You didn't eliminate me… though I think you just eliminated my stomach…!" Titania painfully raised a finger before her arm fell limp. "Ooow…"
Junko rolled her shoulders. "Well, that's four… Now where's Sayaka?" She wondered as she would get her answer when she got hit with ink bullets from an H-3 Nozzlenose. "Ack!"
"Right here!" Sayaka said, shooting up Junko as she tried to block some of it with her Inkbrush, then Sayaka slid through the ink and shot at Junko in the face before she went between her legs.
"Blegh!" Junko yelped.
"You may have taken down my girls, but you won't take me down!" Sayaka said as Junko swung her Inkbrush to try and hit Sayaka, but she blocked with her arm before the Inkbrush could hit her.
She blocked it with just one arm?! Junko thought in surprise as Sayaka blasted her in the chest. "Rrrgh! Something tells me you've perfected your craft…!"
"You thought I was just an ordinary ultimate pop sensation? Think again!" Sayaka said, quickly kicking the Inkbrush off of Junko as she let out a grunt before she got inked by her.
"Aaagh!" Junko fell on her back, groaning.
"Now, where's the other one?"
A Dualie Squelcher was pressed against the back of her head. "Looking for someone?"
"Ah, hello Mukuro…" Sayaka smirked, quickly elbowing her as she turned around to try and shoot her, but Mukuro sweep kicked Sayaka and in a split second, she shot the Nozzlenose off of her hand and before Sayaka could react, she proceeded to spread ink all over Sayaka's body.
"Not perfected enough." Mukuro said.
End BGM
Later…
"Hoo, that was quite fun!" Sayaka smiled, covered in ink as Mukuro was the only one who wasn't covered in it. "Using the water to your advantage, I never would have thought of that."
Mukuro chuckled. "It was optimal."
"Indeed." Sayaka smiled.
"Ugh, I don't know how you managed to not get ink all over you." Junko mumbled, wearing ink all over her body. She looked at herself in a mirror and noticed half of her hair was inked red. Huh? She thought as she looked closely. That… reminds me of my original hair color… She thought.
"Welp, I believe we ought to head home." Mukuro said.
"Yeah." Junko nodded.
Sayaka smiled. "Feel free to stop by any time. I'd love to have a rematch with you!"
"Same here." Junko chuckled as the Hope Sisters walked away.
"You know…" Coral spoke up. "You could become an Inkling or an Octoling yourself."
"I don't think that's possible."
"Actually, it is. Thanks to some Inklings being accepted into Smash Bros, several humans have come from Remnant to here to live new lives and be away from those Grimm creatures. At one point, the hospitals decided to open up a surgery station to where they can turn into Inklings or Octolings if those humans want to start anew. It's entirely optional if you want."
"Is that right?"
"Yeah. I've seen one huntsman become an Inkling after hiding out here after his team got wiped out from the Grimm."
"Interesting…" Sayaka mused as she pulled out her Inkphone. "Alright, let me see what my fans would think." She said, hopping on Splatter.
"Honest opinion! I've just found out humans can become Inklings/Octolings to start fresh in their new lives. Do you think I should stay human or should I change my look?
Stay Human!

"Alright, poll has been set up and-" Her eyes went wide when she noticed her last two questions rising quickly while 1% went with "Stay human". "Oh… oh my…"
"What's up?" Fugu asked.
"The locals spend way too much time on SplatNet…" She sweatdropped.
With the Hope Sisters…
"I think that went rather well." Mukuro smiled as she and Junko walked home.
"Easy for you to say…"
Originally, I was just going to just off screen Leon and Sayaka's interactions because those two are my least favorite characters in Danganronpa. I've nothing against Leon, I think he's cool but he's kinda... "meh". As for Sayaka... it's... for personal reasons I'd rather not get into. (Feel free to DM me about it if you wish.) So because of that, I thought "Eh, do I need to show 'em off? Probably not." however due to feedback, I thought "Well, why not?" So here we are!
Ibuki: Hmm... Ibuki as an Inkling or an Octoling, what would you think?
Hmm... I'm not entirely sure. Octoling, maybe?
Ibuki: *giggles* She'll take that!
