Several Years Ago, in STRQ's Day

BGM: Skyloft (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

"Mmmm…!" Summer stretched as she leaned back on her chair. The amount of homework that was on her plate was already finished, so now she didn't know what to do.

Hang out with Tai? See Qrow potentially fail at flirting with chicks? Try to get Raven out of her shell? Train? Take a nap?

"Hmm…" Summer rested her head on her hands on her desk, pondering what to do before she decided to look out the window, staring out into the city.

As team leader, she had made it her personal mission to hang out with her teammates one by one to get to know them better. She had already done it with Tai and Qrow, and now there was only Raven left.

Unfortunately, Raven was not one to be social. Hell, she was one of the quieter ones of the team, not to mention she tended to give everyone the cold shoulder. Qrow was the same way when they first teamed up, though he lightened up and occasionally teased Summer and Tai. If only she could get those two to stop butting heads for whatever reason.

"What to do with Raven…" She wondered as an idea popped into her head. "Aha!" She pounded her fist in her palm. It was brilliant! It was a three day weekend after all, so why not take the opportunity to have a girl's night out with just the two of them?

"Yeah, that's perfect! What could possibly go wrong!" She grinned excitedly.

"What are you going on about?"

Summer turned her head to see Raven walking in. "Oh, I was just thinking-"

"I'm going to stop you right there."

"-That we should-"

"Summer…"

"-Hang out, just the two of us!"

Raven stared at her in disbelief. "...Why in the name of Remnant would I want to hang out with a perky person like you?"

"Come on, Rave! I got to know Tai and Qrow really well. Why aren't you so eager to hang out with your team leader?"

"Well, let's see… for one: I don't like how you're so annoyingly chipper all the time. Two: I'd rather hang out with someone who's less perkier than you because you're like those perky cheerleaders we see on TV, and THIRD: I just don't like you. Yes, you're a competent team leader but that doesn't change the fact that I should like you."

"Okay, okay, miss grumpy pants, I get it. I'm way too chipper for a grump like you." Summer rolled her eyes. "But come on, you're like the last one on my own personal mission to get to know you guys for the next four years."

"...This is only the first year. You'll figure me out by the time we graduate."

Summer sighed. "Will I though? You constantly give me the cold shoulder, I just… want to do something with you."

"You want to do something? Leave me alone."

"Rave, I'm not budging."

"...Of course you aren't."

"Okay, okay… how about this. We go out and I don't bother you again for… a long time except for when we're on missions."

Raven perked up, seeming intrigued by the sound of it. "...So, girl's night, hmm?"

"Yes."

Raven turned around. "Okay, I'll do it. Just a few conditions."

"Okay, shoot."

"One: I don't dress up for anything fancy. I like to be casual. I'm only wearing this dumb school uniform because it's required or whatever Glynda said. Two: I get to choose where we go."

Summer sweatdropped. "Uuuuuh… I was the one who suggested a girl's night out…"

"You want to hang out with me, don't you?"

"Yes."

"Then I get the final say."

"Okay, okay… sure." Take all the fun out of it, why don't you…

"It's just to make sure you don't take me somewhere dumb." Raven explained as she got up. "Oh, and the third condition? Don't complain."

"Oho, you know me. I'm not one to complain."

"Gee, I wonder why." Raven rolled her eyes. "Alright, let's roll."

Summer pulled out her scroll. "Hey, Rave and I are going out for a girl's night out. You two behave, okay?"

"You got it!" - Tai

"Pffft, okay, mom. Whatever." - Qrow

Summer rolled her eyes at Qrow's comment. "Ahem." Raven got her attention as Summer turned to see Raven already in casual clothing. "You changing or what?"

"How the heck did you change that fast?" Summer sweatdropped as she turned around to get herself changed, putting on her favorite cloak.

"Do you have to bring it?"

"What's wrong with my cloak?"

"You look dorkier with it on."

"Ah, you're just jealous I can pull it off~!" Summer flashed a pose.

Raven groaned. She could tell she was going to hate this girl's night out. "Let's get this over with."

"Woo! Girl's night!" Summer cheered.

"Wooooo…" Raven said unenthusastically.

One trip to the City of Vale later…

BGM: Driftveil City (Pokemon Black/White)

"Just for the record, we're not going into the library." Raven said.

"What's wrong with the McGarden Library?"

"It's for nerds."

Summer sweatdropped. "I saw you at the library the other day."

"There's a difference between a school library and a public library."

"That being?"

"School libraries are a lot more tolerable and quiet."

Summer sweatdropped. "I dunno, I heard a few people making out in that library. I think I heard someone cry too."

"I didn't say it was perfect." Raven said as they walked through the streets.

"Soooo, where exactly are you taking me on this… Girl's Night that I planned?"

Raven turned the corner to a building. "We're here."

Summer stared at the building in front of her. "Uh… were you looking for an ice cream shop, because it's a little further away…"

"Oh no, I know exactly where we are."

"You took me clubbing?!"

"Bingo!"

"...Rave, are you sure? We're not exactly old enough, I mean, we have to be twenty one and we're like… not there yet!"

"Come on, live a little." Raven said.

"Okay, how are we going to get in? The bouncer won't even let minors in."

"Who said anything about using the front door~?" Raven looked up at the top, where Summer paled just thinking about it. "Come on." She walked off into an alleyway.

"...Why can't we just do milkshakes and karaoke like normal people?" Summer sighed as she reluctantly followed her, where she would see her climbing up a ladder, where Summer climbed up after her until they were on the roof.

"Ah, it's still here!"

"What's still here?" Summer wondered as Raven grabbed the crowbar and started to pry open the vent. "Why is there a crowbar here?! Raven…?"

Raven looked to Summer, giving her a playful smirk and went inside. "Rave, wai-... oh for Oum's sake." She groaned as she looked into the vent and reluctantly went inside.

"Welcome to Vale's Nightclub, Summer." Raven smiled as they crawled through the vent.

"...What did you drag me into?"

"A night of fun." Raven chuckled.

"Won't we get in trouble?"

"Relax. People sneak in here all the time. It got to the point where the guards just stopped caring and just let minors do their thing!"

Summer grimaced. "Beg pardon?" She whimpered as Raven opened up a vent and hopped down as Summer followed her in, where they found themselves in a bathroom.

"Alright, we're in."

"...Isn't this the boy's restroom? Oh gods, I feel dirty…"

Raven smiled. "You haven't seen anything yet~" She said, opening up the door.

BGM: Elesa's Gym Stage (Pokemon Black 2/White 2)

"...Sweet mother hubbard." Summer whimpered, seeing everyone dancing around without a care in the world, DJs doing their DJ thing, a bar was nearby, the smell of cigarette smoke filled the air, a pool table and much more.

"It's time you saw the world a different way!"

"...Rave, I swear, if I get drugged-"

Raven burst out laughing. "Relax! This ain't that type of club."

"Oh good."

"Although people do bang each other here."

"WHAT?!"

Raven snickered. "You're too easy." She said and disappeared into the crowd.

Be still, my heart… Summer thought as she worked her way through the crowd. "Excuse me, pardon me, coming through, OW! My foot!"

"Alriiiiight, now let's bring it down a bit! Now for a slow song for you ladies out there. Maybe you'll get lucky tonight, rrrooow!" A cat Faunus DJ meowed. "Now here's one that'll definitely get a few of y'all hooked up."

"Raven? Raven! Where are you!" Summer called out.

"Let the spotlight of loooooove shine down on a few lucky people tonight!"

Suddenly, as in right on cue, a spotlight shined down on Summer. "Ack!" She yelped.

"Alriiiiight, now for the lucky man! Who will it be?"

A spotlight shined down on a bodybuilding tiger Faunus. "Alriiiiight! We got a good pair tonight on this one!" The DJ exclaimed as more spotlights shined down on several others.

Summer stared at the tiger Faunus who simply did a "sup?" nod at her with eyes that seemed to allure her. "...Oh my…" She said.

Raven turned her head at the bar, seeing Summer already getting paired up by the tiger faunus. "Heeeeey, look at you!" She called out, whistling in approval while Summer turned her gaze to Raven who was giving her a smug look. Summer simply gave her a "you owe me!" look.

"And now… let's bring it dooooown a bit with this next song!"

BGM: Can You Feel The Love Tonight? (Elton John)

Oh, REAL subtle… Summer thought as the tiger faunus took her hand.

"May I have this dance?" He asked.

Summer looked into his eyes, smiling. "Sure~" She smiled as the two of them started to slow dance.

Raven whistled again. "That's my girl!" She cheered.

"Your drink, madam." The bartender said, handing her a glass. "...Hey, wait a moment, aren't you a little young to have a Fire Crystal?"

"Aren't you a little old to be working as a bartender, gramps?"

The bartender sighed sadly. "You're not the first to ask me that…" He mumbled as Raven took a sip.

"Oooh, strong. I like it!"

"Ooooh, I hope that red head isn't with that tiger faunus…" A young woman said that Raven had overheard.

"You mean the guy that has a semblance where he can allure people with his eyes, take them outside and the person who he's with never shows up again?"

"Heard he's into trafficking. Humans and Faunus."

"That's just a load of bull. There's no way you believe all of that."

"I'm tellin' ya, it's true. There's been a rumor that a tiger faunus uses his Alluring eyes to entrance people, male and female alike. Hell, I think he does this with kids too. They never take their eyes off of him, guides them into his truck… and they never see them again, yet the tiger faunus comes back every time."

"...How long has this been going on?" Raven asked. "Sorry, I couldn't help but overhear your conversation."

"This has been going on for about… a few months now, I believe. Looks like the redhead can't take her eyes off of him."

"Can't say I blame her. She's gorgeous!"

"Okay, that's just gossip." Raven said. "Hey Summer!" She called out to her. "SUMMER!"

No response.

In an instant, Raven started to get a pit in her stomach. Normally, she doesn't care about Summer's insufferable happy-go-lucky attitude… and yet…

"What's your name, sweetheart?"

"Summer Rose~"

"Oh, that's a pretty name for a gorgeous flower like you~" He flirted, causing Summer to giggle as he spun her around until she fell into his arms. "What say you we hit the bar and then we head to my home?"

"Oh, sorry… I'm a bit of a lightweight. Found out the hard way in a drink off with a good friend of mine~"

The tiger faunus chuckled. "That's fine, we'll just do a few shots then."

"Sounds good~"

The two of them walked toward the bar. "Waiter, your finest whiskey please! Make it a few shot glasses!"

"Coming right up!"

"...Summer." Raven put her hand on her shoulder. "Maybe we should leave. I've got a bad feeling about this guy."

"Shhh… don't worry, Raven. Something about this guy is just… breathtaking." She smiled, hearts in her pupils as she and the faunus downed their first shot.

Shit shit shit! This is bad! Raven thought as she looked around and saw a guy nearby igniting his lighter. She immediately took the lighter.

"Wh-hey!"

"Smoking's bad for you anyway!" She said, igniting her drink. "Alright, now it's definitely a Fire Crystal." She said, getting into position and throwing it at the Tiger Faunus who was about to make his move and smooch Summer… and then the drink exploded.

"YAAAAAAAAAGH!" He cried, his body on fire.

"Ooooh, goodness, I knew you were hot but this is a whole new level~" Summer drunkenly giggled before the hearts in her pupils disappeared. "Wha…?!" She looked around. "Where am I? Why am I at the bar? Why do I… why is everything spinning…?"

"Come on, let's go." Raven said, taking Summer and walking away.

"YOU BITCH!" The tiger faunus yelled as he ran at her, but Raven stepped to the side and put her foot out as he tripped and rolled into a curtain, which caught ablaze.

*Record scratch*

"Oh shit! It's a fire! RUN!" The DJ yelled as everyone panicked and quickly ran away while the tiger faunus tried to stop drop and roll, only to get trampled by the stampede of panicking party goers.

"Sums, you were drunkenly in love with a guy who was using his semblance against you."

"Wh-what…?" Summer asked in surprise as the fire spread rapidly and burned everything while Raven busted a window in the bathroom and they crawled out as the two of them ran away.

At Beacon…

"So, the girls are out having a girl's night out?" Zhang asked.

"Pretty much." Tai nodded.

"Oh, that sounds lovely!" Luce smiled as they heard sirens blaring. "What in Remnant…?"

"I think I hear fire trucks going by." Tai said.

"Look!" Zhang pointed in the distance as they saw smoke along with an orange glow deep in the heart of the city of Vale.

"Ooooh, I hope the girls are okay." Luce hoped.

"...I'm going to laugh if those two were responsible." Qrow said.

With the girls…

"Hah… hah…" Both girls panted, both on their knees as fire trucks drove by, along with a few police cars and an ambulance. Their panting turned into full blown laughter as they fell on their backs, laughing hysterically.

"Well, that was an eventful girl's night!" Raven laughed.

"Girl's night, wooooo!" Summer cheered drunkenly.

"Hey, Summer…?"

"Yeah…?"

"Even though I find you to be obnoxiously chipper all the time… I have to say, you're actually pretty cool."

Summer sat up. "Wa-wait, are you s-s-saying you actually like me?"

"I didn't say that, you dummy."

Summer pouted.

"But, you went to all this effort just to hang out with me and, well… I actually admire that. Even if I did save your ass from getting trafficked."

"...My butt was going into traffic?" She drunkenly asked.

Raven snickered. "Yeah, let's go with that." She said. "I will say though, even though I find you annoying… you're actually admirable."

Summer smiled. "Aw, thanks Raaaave~!" She giggled before frowning. "I guess we'll have to head back now earlier than expected."

"You kidding? The night's still young!" Raven winked, causing Summer's eyes to sparkle. "How about this time, you take me somewhere instead?"

"WOO! WATCH OUT VALE! WE PARTY GIRLS ARE GONNA KNOCK YOU OUT!" Summer sprang up. "MILKSHAKES AND KARAOKE, LET'S GOOOO!" She took off running, although since she was drunk, she was zig zagging.

"...Hey Summer?"

"Yeah?"

"The milkshakes and karaoke are over there." She pointed her thumb behind her.

"...Oh, right, I knew that…" Summer blushed as Raven shook her head with a chuckle and took her hand.

"Come on, doofus. I'll take ya." She said as they walked off together, both of them enjoying each other's company as they chatted amongst themselves and sang the night away while enjoying their milkshakes.

The next day…

"Uuugh… my head…" Summer groaned, noticing there was a towel over her head, but that didn't change the fact that her mouth tasted like sandpaper and her head felt like it was about to explode. She would see a note on her desk and walked over to it.

"Sorry for not being there when you woke up. Zhang and Luce wanted to do a mission with me and Qrow, so it's just gonna be you and Tai for now. I actually had a lot of fun last night and I'm glad to call you my leader and friend. And you know what? I wouldn't mind doing another girl's night with you. Just say the word and we'll burn the city down together if we want!

Raven"

Summer's eyes sparkled. "Yes!" She fist pumped. "She likes me! I officially hung out with all my teammates!" She exclaimed happily. "WOO! Mission accompli- OW! Oooh! Oooof!" She clutched her head. "Uuugh… stupid hangover…"

Ibuki: Tiger Faunus with alluring eyes? Ooooh...

Yeeeeah, I'm pretty sure he's dead now.

Ibuki: Thank goodness!
