While Ruby is Heading to Paradise Island
BGM: Respite and Sunlight (Fire Emblem: Three Houses)
"So, we just had quite the shock a few days ago." Laura said as she was walking with her friends on the way to school.
"Oh yeah? What's up?" Albedo asked.
"So, right after the party in Sarasaland, mom found out from Uncle James that the cat's out of the bag. Apparently, Mercury is our long lost cousin."
"Wait, Mercury? The guy that worked with that Cinder chick?" Magnolia asked.
"Yeah, apparently he's been through a lot of heck recently and according to mom, Uncle James didn't want to tell him because of what he was going through recently. Apparently he's 95% cyborg now."
"Oh my goodness!" Magnolia gasped.
"Oh, that poor guy…" Logue frowned.
"Yeah, he's going through a lot right now… and he found out the truth by complete accident. I've heard he's staying with that Laxus guy for the time being. Something about a… Thunder Legion? Anyway, I've also heard that mom and uncle James are already starting to do their best to sort things out with him."
"I see… but what about you and your big brother?" Albedo asked. "Can't the two of you also help out?"
Laura shook her head. "Nah, I don't think so. Personally, I think it's best if we just left it to my mom and uncle for now to deal with this problem. And besides… if me and my big bro went along, things would most likely get a little more complicated."
"That's likely for the best." Nick nodded.
"Yeah, even though both of us are worried about him… heck, I've actually accepted him as family and would happily call him "Big Bro Merc" when the time comes."
"That's so cute!" Logue giggled as they walked into the courtyard of Hathaway.
"Ugh… I don't think it's fair!" Nick complained. "How is it that all the schools in Vale, especially Beacon, closed down due to that Red Sky incident yet Hathaway is the only school in Vale that is still open?"
"I believe it's because Hathaway wasn't affected all too badly compared to the others." Laura said. "I've also heard the schools in the other countries are considering closing down temporarily for repairs and better defenses in case something like this happens again."
"I would say they're paranoid, but we've had like, what… a million world ending events? I'd say that's fair." Magnolia nodded.
"Let's see… The Rift that caused everything to get all squiggly and distort-y…" Logue mused. "Plus something about a lady talking about "stars dying", the Red Sky… Toad Town keeps blowing up from that Bowser guy…"
"I imagine there's a few more that we forgot but hey, we survived!" Laura smiled.
"At this point, we just need T-Shirts that say "I've survived another world ending incident in Remnant and it's not even lunch time" or something to that effect." Magnolia giggled.
"Personally, I'd rather call it "Survived another shenanigan"." Albedo snarked.
"Booooriiiiiing." Laura teased.
"Hey!"
They walked into the school. "I gotta get to my own class. See ya!" Logue waved.
"See ya at recess!" Laura waved as they started to walk away, when suddenly a large group of second graders crowded around. "Eh? What's going on?"
"I dunno, maybe something happened." Nick said.
"Oh no…" Magnolia groaned. "Don't look now, but… it's those three."
Laura looked ahead. "...Oh, son of a billboard…" She groaned as they saw three boys talking amongst themselves. One of them was a Faunus.
"Hmm?" The ringleader spotted them and chuckled. "Well well well, if it isn't little miss perfect of the second grade." He smirked.
Laura folded her arms. "Desmond."
"Winchester."
Laura rolled her eyes in disgust before turning her attention to the boys behind him. "Emile. Ewan. Nice to see you two again."
"Hello." Emile, the Beaver Faunus, greeted.
"Hey." Ewan greeted.
"Just what are you doing now, Damian?" Laura asked.
"Just hanging around, telling people how I survived the Red Sky with the skin of my teeth."
"Oho, is that right? I recall us being stuck in the school and how my friends and I helped people to stay calm and hope for the best. I heard that you wet yourself at the thought of Grimm invading our school and you hid in the janitor's closet and wept like a baby."
Damian blushed, growling. "Oh, so that's how it's going to be?"
"I don't hear a denial~!"
"Shut it, you!"
Laura gave him a smug smirk. "Heh."
"AND WIPE THAT SMUG LOOK OFF YOUR FACE BEFORE I MAKE YOU!"
"Try as you want, Damian, but I'm pretty sure you're just all bark and no bite."
"Oh, you're one to talk!"
As the two were arguing, Damian and Laura's friends were standing on the sidelines, casually eating popcorn.
"You think you're all high and mighty because you're a straight A student!"
"At least I'm not a pompous rich brat!"
"Nerd!"
"Rich boy!"
"Alright, alright, break it up!" A voice said, a girl getting between the two.
"Oh hi, Becky." Magnolia said.
"Hey Maggie!" Becky waved.
"Ugh, Becky, would you get out of the way? I was just in the middle of winning this argument against this smug brat."
"Funny, because I think I was winning this thing." Laura smirked smugly again.
Again with that smirk…?! How dare she mocks me like this!
Nick rolled his eyes, putting his hands behind his head and smirking. "Alright, we get it, you two are madly in love with each other. Just confess already." He said, causing the others, Emile and Ewan especially, to snicker.
"Good one!" Emile chuckled.
Both of them blushed a deep red, also getting a bit angry as they both turned toward their friends. "HE/SHE IS NOT MY BOYFRIEND/GIRLFRIEND!"
"You sure about that?" Magnolia smirked.
"OH, SCREW THIS STUPID LOVEY DOVEY TRASH! I'M OUT OF HERE!" Damian marched off. "LET'S GO, GUYS!"
"Alright, alright, we're coming." Ewan chuckled and walked off after him.
"H-hey! Wait up!" Emile turned around to look at them. "U-um… nice catching up with you!" He said and ran off.
Laura sighed in annoyance. "Honestly… I'll never understand that rich snob."
Nearby, Run saw this unfold and lightly chuckled. "Ah, young love… reminds me of the time I had a crush when I was just a student…"
Laura shook her head and then looked at Becky. "Hey Becky."
"Heya!"
"How's your throat doing?"
"Better than a few days ago."
"How did you rupture it again?" Nick asked.
"Remember when several Grimm decided to invade recess a week ago?"
Pause BGM
One week earlier…
"AAAAAH!" A student screamed as several Beowolves and Ursa jumped over the fence and roared, charging at the students as the older students quickly fought back as some of them moved past them and went toward the younger students.
Becky immediately jumped in and moved her right foot back as she took a deep breath and let out a powerful ear-splitting screech, shockwaves shooting out and blowing away the Grimm as one Beowolf dug its claws into the ground and crawled its way toward the second grader as Becky continued to screech until the ground that the Beowolf was holding onto lifted up from the ground and blew away, smashing it against a wall and crushing it.
Becky immediately looked up to see a few Griffon and Nevermores as they dove down, but she screeched at them to stun them as they fell to the ground as the older students took care of them.
"Nnngh…" Becky groaned, holding on to her throat. Not again…
In the present…

"Ugh, I love my Sonic Boom semblance but man, I keep forgetting if I use it for so long, I strain my vocal cords and I'm unable to speak clearly for a while, let alone use my semblance." Becky rubbed her head. "On the bright side, I did eat a lot of ice cream~!"
"I'm gonna be honest, I'm still surprised you actually got your semblance one day just by screaming." Magnolia said.
Becky grinned. "Hey, at least those bullies weren't able to find their clothes for several weeks~!"
Albedo chuckled. "At least those big guys left us alone after they were able to find them."
"Come on, let's get to home room." Laura said.
Later, at recess…
Laura got into position, smirking. "Make your move, Damian."
"Oh, I plan to!"
"Are they flirting again?" Logue asked, munching on a cookie.
"Pretty much." Becky nodded as Laura dove for the dodgeball and threw it at Damian, but he gracefully avoided it and then grabbed the ball, beaning her in the shoulder.
"Point. Me. You throw like a girl."
Laura picked the dodgeball up. "If I throw like a girl, then you throw like a baby! Oh wait, a baby can throw better than you."
A cross vein appeared on Damian's forehead. "WHY YOU…"
As they were pelting each other with dodgeballs, a third grader walked past them and then spotted the Faunus. "Well, look at this. If it isn't a bunch of animals sitting together!"
"...Oh boy." Albedo sweatdropped.
"What's wrong? You're not gonna say anything? How about you, you bucked tooth idiot?" He smirked at Emile and grabbed his teeth. "As a matter of fact, I wonder if I could break these off."
"Will you leave him alone!" Logue glared at him.
"Buzz off brat. Can't you see that I-"
"Hey!"
The third grader turned around, only to get a dodgeball slammed into his face. "Oh!" Laura winced as Damian walked over to him, as he was the one who threw the dodgeball and picked him up by the collar.
"Listen you… I don't appreciate you looking down at Faunus." He said, giving him a cold hard glare. "You need an attitude check… because your kind does not belong in a school such as this."
"But they're animals!"
"Faunus, humans… they're all the same to me. Who cares if Faunus have some fancy animal trait? They're just like us… now if you want to continue bullying Faunus, go ahead. I just won't be so merciful next time." He said in a low voice, giving him a cold hard glare that caused the third grader to sweat nervously. "As I recall, sparring is encouraged to improve someone's aura and semblance in a school such as this, right?"
The third grader whimpered and quickly took off running. "I AM SO SORRY, PLEASE DON'T HURT ME!"
"Hmph. Coward."
"Oh, that's right… I forgot you treat Faunus with respect." Becky said. "Considering you have Emile as a friend."
"Damian, you're cool!" Logue said as Damian stared at her and blushed a little.
"Um… boys, let's go." Damian said and walked off. "We'll continue our duel later!"
"That never seems to end…" Laura mumbled.
"How come you didn't insult her? I thought you looked down at Atlesians because they're a bunch of racist snobs." Ewan pointed out.
"Honestly, it'd be naive of me to think that. I won't deny that not all Atleasians are bad, there are good people in Atlas… but the problem is, there's a bunch of upper class rich snobs in Atlas that make people think they're all snobbish racists… and this is coming from a snobby rich kid like me!"
Damian groaned, leaning against a wall. "I know not all of them are bad… The military, from what I've heard, has been decent, especially with those Winter Ops, which Logue happens to be the daughter of one of them. Agh! I know Logue is Atlesian, but she and her family are good people even though her father is a creep with that mask!"
"You just can't help but look down at Atlesians because every Atlesian you've met so far treated you poorly?" Emile guessed.
"Yes… especially those Schnees. I don't care if Jacques is dead, there's still the rest of the family to worry about! As far as I know, the whole family is snobbish!"
"There's that Whitley kid." Ewan pointed out.
"Pah… yeah right. Oh, look at me, I'm rich enough to start a band and have Faunus by my side for the greater good of Faunus and Human kind!" Damian rolled his eyes. "Pah, I don't believe in Sea5ons as far as I can throw 'em. As far as I know, those Kokoro and Ling girls couldn't be Faunus at all but only pretending to be 'em just to make money."
"You sure about that?" Emile asked.
"It's all an act. Whitley just made it for those two. He doesn't care for Faunus, he's all about that money life. I don't care if their songs are good, I'm onto that Schnee kid's act!"
Both of them sweatdropped. "Your disdain for Atlesians is… quite high." Emile said.
Damian sighed. "Sorry, I tend to get worked up on the higher rich snobs of Atlas, especially those Schnees. Who's that famous one again… Weiss? Don't trust her."
A few hours later…
Laura and her group walked out of the school with Becky by their side. "Phew, that was a rough one…"
"Well, at least now we can relax for a while… until tomorrow." Albedo sighed.
"Hey… uh… you think we could drop by the Mushroom Kingdom for a bit?" Logue spoke up. "I kinda want to try some new clothes there at that… Coconut Mall, was it?"
"Come to think of it, I've never been to the Mushroom Kingdom myself." Becky admitted.
Laura smiled. "Sure, let's all go."
"Ooooh, I think I know who can help us!" Magnolia smiled, pulling out her scroll. "Yang wasn't the only person that I talked to at the Sarasa party!" She said and started to call someone.
Later, At Toad Town…
BGM: Toad Town (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story)
Coco casually sat on a bench, looking through her scroll as she heard the sound of a Warp Pipe as she looked up to see the Warp Pipe in front of her.
"Waaaaaah!" Becky yelped and fell on her butt. "Ooof! I'm okay!" She said as she dusted herself off as LAFF and Logue popped out of the Warp Pipe.
"Sup?" Coco greeted.
"Coco!" Magnolia smiled and hugged her.
Coco chuckled, patting her on the head. "How's the little star studded girl doing?" She smiled as she got up. "Alright, which one of you is Logue?"
"That'd be me!" Logue smiled. "You must be Miss Coco!"
"Mhm." Coco nodded as she spotted Becky. "Hmm? You look familiar… where have I seen you before?"
"Oh? I'm Rebecca Blackbell! Although my friends call be Becky…"
"Blackbell?!" Coco said in surprise. "Now I know you. You and your family are well known in Vale with your family's company! You're the daughter of that rich CEO of Blackbell Heavy Industries!"
"The very same!" Becky smiled. "My dad's proud of the major and private military company that operates in the region."
"No doubt! You guys are very influential too." Coco ruffled her hair. "I like you already, kiddo."
"Thanks! I plan on taking over when I'm older. Hopefully I make an impact like my dad… he's made quite the legacy for it…"
Coco chuckled. "You'll do fine. Now then, I've heard that Logue wants some new clothing here in Toad Town?"
"Yeah, I wanna see how big Coconut Mall is!"
Coco smiled. "Well, I happen to shop there all the time. It's gotten to the point where my girl teases me that it's my second home. Not my fault I'm a fashionista, I gotta try 'em all! …And try to get Lucina into wearing something decent." She mumbled. "Never mind about that. To Coconut Mall!"
Once at Coconut Mall...
"Oh." Laura began.
"My." Albedo continued.
"Oum." The twins finished.
"It's huge!" Becky exclaimed. "Seriously, I think it's bigger on the inside than it is on the outside!"
"It's wonderful!" Logue smiled with her eyes sparkling.
"Yeah, they've definitely expanded their franchise all over the Mushroom Kingdom. Heck, I heard they built one in Mistral not too long ago." Coco said.
"They're in the middle of building one in Atlas!" Logue said. "They're building it over the remains of where the SDC used to stand!"
Coco laughed. "Oh, the continuation of screwing over Jacques never ceases to impress me."
"So many options… I've heard they had everything but I thought they were just exaggerating!" Becky said.
"Apparently not." Laura said.
"Oh, here's a good clothing store!" Coco said as she walked in with the second and first grader behind her. "So, what exactly are you thinking of?"
Logue shyly poked her index fingers together. "Well, to be honest… I really do want to try to look for something cuter… Yet, at the same time, I also want my new clothes to look a bit… "similar" to the ones I'm wearing right now."
Coco rubbed her chin thoughtfully. "Hmmm…" She looked intrigued. "Oh, I see! You want something cute yet still matches your current tastes?"
"Yes."
"She always did want to look cute wearing something from the Mushroom Kingdom." Magnolia smiled.
Coco smiled. "I think I can help you out with that."
A few minutes later…
"O-okay, I'm coming out now!"
Logue stepped out of the changing room now wearing a loosely tucked in white tie-neck shirt with a white ribbon tied around the collar underneath a pastel pink denim jacket, a pastel yellow tennis belt skirt wrapped around in a white leather belt with gold buckle, and a pair of black no-show socks. She was also now wearing a black faux leather mini backpack that hangs behind her back and a pyrite and citrine bead bracelet on her left wrist.
"H-how… do I look?" She asked while blushing.
"Wow, she got cuter!" Laura said with Albedo and Nick agreeing, though Magnolia and Becky were missing.
Coco giggled with a grin. "You definitely look fashionable! But there's something missing…"
"Huh?" Logue tilted her head while Coco put her hand on her cheek, pretending to think.
"What is it… what is it…?" She wondered before smiling, snapping her fingers. "Ah! I know!" She smiled as Becky and Magnolia returned to her. "Did you two find 'em?"
"Yup!" Becky smiled as they approached Logue with a shoebox. "The icing on the cake, which is-" She opened the shoebox, revealing a pair of light blue shell toe sneakers with white stripes and accents. "Ta-dah~!"
"Whoa…" Logue said in awe. "You got me a new pair of shoes too? You guys really thought of everything!"
"Oh, but of course. I am a fashionista after all!" Coco said proudly as Logue proceeded to slip them on.
"H-how do I look now…?"
"Perfect! A ten out of ten if I say so myself!" Coco smiled, gently ruffling her hair.
"Yay!" Logue smiled, hugging her as Coco hugged her back, and then her scroll went off.
"You ready to go, sweetheart?"
"Just a second, daddy!"
Logue looked at Coco. "Um… would you mind if you… took me home?"
"Oh, of course!" Coco smiled. "Let's take you home."

Later, at Atlas…
"HUUUUUH?!" Bols yelled in surprise.
"Oh, you look absolutely adorable!" Kije smiled. "You picked this out for her?"
"Mhm. She wanted to try some clothes out from the Mushroom Kingdom." Coco said.
"Oh, just absolutely precious!" Kije smiled.
"But… but but but but…" Anime tears ran down Bol's mask. "Shopping together was our thing. Nooo! The cruel fate of time slips by me! They grow up so fast… next thing I know, you're going to be driving or get some cute tattoo in such a beautifully rebellious phase in your life!"
Drama queen much? Coco sweatdropped while Kije giggled at Bol's theatrics.
"Oh daddy, we can go shopping in the Mushroom Kingdom together next time~!" Logue smiled.
Bols gasped, clutching his daughter tightly. "A father and daughter date! How beautiful!" He exclaimed as more anime-styled tears sprayed out.
"Ack! Daddy… crushing me…!" Logue gasped for air.
Coco chuckled, and then her scroll went off as she looked to see what it was.
"Hey… can we… possibly snuggle again? I… I had another panic attack…"
"Be right there, bun bun." Coco then sent her a heart emoji and then put it away. "Welp, I'm heading off."
"Oh, so soon?"
"My girl needs some cuddles." Coco smiled. "See you later, Logue. Later, Mr and Mrs. Lang!" She waved and then walked out of the door, heading to the Warp Pipe. "Hang on, Vel… I'm comin' for ya."
"Sooo… ice cream?" Kije asked.
"Oh, I would love some!" Logue smiled.
"Count me in!" Bols smiled as all three of them walked out the door, where Bols picked up Logue and proceeded to give her a piggy back ride on the way there.
Yes, you're seeing this right. That is Damian, Becky, Emile and Ewan from Spy x Family!
Ibuki: All that's missing now is Anya and Loid!
Mhm! Major shout out to DarkRebellion and Log for helping out with this Gaiden idea!
