Jamie and others ventured to find Otar and get some answers, meanwhile Steven form a plan of his own.
Pearl: Steven are you sure?
Amethyst: Yea didn't Garnet-
Steven: She said we have to stay here but that doesn't mean we should do nothing. I mean we seen what he can do, no one can jump that high like Otar did at such a speed. We don't even know if that's everything he can do.
Pearl and Amethyst looked at Steven as his hands began to glow.
Steven: AH! Huh? Sorry guys it's just we've been through this situation already...*sighs* I need to take a walk. You should go to little homeschool and alert lapis peridot and bismuth about this. I'll be fine
Amethyst: If you say so dude.
Pearl: Just be careful.
Steven: I will. Now go
Steven went straight to towns mayor Nanefua to alert her.
Nanefua: Ouh yes I do remember that young man. But he helped us, isn't he your friend?
Steven: I don't know. That's what we're trying to find out but right now we need to prepare for a worst scenario.
Ruby: Don't worry mayor for I will protect you.
Steven would've laughed usually when in different circumstances but he could only force a fake smile this time.
?: There you are.
The three turned to see a man whose face was masked, with white hair yet wide eyes. Steven however recognised the voice
Steven: Otar?! So it really is you. Mayor get out of here now, I've got this!
?: You don't
A dark figure moved in to kick steven throwing him into the wall. Steven gasped in slight pain.
A ruby guard then jumped on the attacker enslaving his neck and back with her fists.
?: GAAH! Grrr No matter!
The aggressor grappled onto Ruby's light form and smashed her against the wall, poofing her instantly.
Mayor looked on nervous "young man w-why are you doing this?"
?: ...
Steven used his gem powers to form a shield around the attacker " Please Mayor, pick Ruby and run!"
Nanefua did just that and was on her way to her family's pizzeria.
The dark figure hit the shield in an attempt to break but stopped suddenly.
Steven: You're trapped. Give up .
?:...
Dark figure then gets enraged and roars "WOOOAAAAHH"
His hands turned into razor sharp claws with bloody stains on it slicing through the shield (like wolverine vs hulk).
Steven stood back in shock as the dark figure then started to pick up some rocks from the beach and throwing them into the city.
Dark one jumped higher, and dived a deeper hole into the town causing mass panic.
Steven followed him while ringing to Connie.
Steven: Connie! *steven?* He's here! He's on a rampage*what? But he is?* connie you must come back here. I need help*ugh Alright we are on our way* ok.
?: RUAAAR! He growled like a wounded animal which was disorienting
Dark one throws cars all over the place, making cracks in the ground in process. This grabs attention from both Gems and humans alike who were either running to the safe spots or tried to take him on.
They were however easily dispatched, poofed and left on the ground
Steven: Otar stop! Don't you see there people in here!?
?:...
Dark one then morphed his form into a different structure, a different size and hair color. "I am no Otar"
Steven: So you are just turning into him? You frame him!
?: *throws the car away* my name is Vincent Riot. And I came to have some fun, but it's not quite as fun just yet.
Steven paused, his eyes shrinking "Fun?! You think THIS is fun!? There is nothing fun in putting people in danger!"
Riot's hand was lifted as it covered in black flames. Steven didn't know what they were but it ceertainly wasn't good. Steven however didn't manage to get away as he was engulfed in them which made him remember the most sad episodes of his life. How many times he nearly died, times when his friends and famillies lives were jeoperdized , always taking the blame for his mother's actions even as a kid who had to fix everything, always being compared to her.
All that was too much for Steven who fell to his knees, breathing heavily.
Riot: No matter how great your personality is, all have cracks in their spirits.
Steven felt a sudden surge of anger at his unthinking choice of words.
But then a shadow appeared from the sky which caught both of their attentions . A flying house landed on the beach nearby
Riot: Dammit. Unpeasant sign.
Connie: Not as bad as this!
Riot lifted his head up to see six figures dropping on him. He quickly got out of the harm's way.
Garnet made first move, trying to catch him off guard.
Riot was fast to dodge her attempts which was then followed by Otar running up behind him. Would've worked if Riot didn't use his dark essence to push him back.
Riot: what an annoyance . Let's make this better.
Using the darkness, Riot throws big rocks at the water tower to collapse it.
Otar: Ouh no you don't!
Otar ran towards the tower to hold it from falling while Connie checked on Steven.
Connie: Steven are you alright? What happened?!
Steven: I don't know. These flames on his back did something to me like a mental assault. Something is wrong but in a few moments I'll recover.
Moonstone: Jamie what should we do?
Jamie: We should leave this to Garny and Garnet.
Garny used her gauntlets to attack Riot, who managed to overpower Garnet throwing her away retaliated by summoning his bloody claws again and so they clashed for a while.
Steven the gets a phone call " what this time?'Pearl what is going on?!' STEVEN CALL EVERYONE TO ARRIVE AT LITTLE HOMESCHOOL NOW 'What is going on?!' There is some big green creature attacking us. We don't who it is but it certainly didn't come for negotiations. '
Riot heard this and backed off "So the Hulk does his part well then?"
Gems were confused while the human part was baffled in shock " Did he just say the hulk?"
Riot: I'm afraid play times over. I would suggest you to visit your little school
Everyone looked where Riot pointed and saw little homeworld in flames. When turned back Riot was gone, nowhere to be seen but they didn't had the time to contemplate on that.
Garnet: Moonstone, Garny you will help Otar with water tower.
Garny: Dont order me-
Jamie: Garny please this is no time for arguments.
Garny:...very well master. I will help.
Garnet: Alright Steven, Connie let's go.
Jamie: I'm coming too.
Garnet: No it's too dangerous.
Jamie: I won't go into fight Garnet don't worry.
Steven: Guys c'mon now quickly.
