A Day After Chelsea and Cardin Kissed
Kurome closed the door in her room, taking a deep breath. "I can't believe I'm doing this…"
"You seem a bit nervous." A voice said as Kurome turned to see Wave sitting on her bed.
"What I'm about to tell you… it stays between us."
"So why me, specifically?"
"Because… you're my best friend, Wave. I figured you, of all people, should know this."
Wave smiled. "Well, whatever it is you want to tell me, I'm all ears." He said as Kurome walked over to the closet.
"I'm… not the person you think I am."
Wave blinked. "...You're actually a dude in disguise?"
"What? No! I'm not a guy."
Wave laughed. "I'm just messin' with ya."
Kurome rolled her eyes, letting out a chuckle. "The truth is… I've been holding a secret for far too long." She opened the closet door and looked at a sword. She pulled it out and turned toward him. "This sword…"
"Ooookay, what's with the sword?"
"This sword belonged to Kagura Mikazuchi… my ancestor."
"Ancestor…? Wait, you're the descendant of-"
"Yes." She nodded. "She used to be an assassin for Night Raid, then according to her story, she found out Night Raid wasn't what she thought she was and she left. She found a friend named Millianna and she joined Mermaid Heel. Then, years went by and after the Dragon King Festival, she caught wind that the Grimm destroyed Night Raid. So she decided to revamp it. Night Raid was the only guild that withstood the test of time, until five years ago, it was destroyed within seconds. I used to be a part of that guild."
"So… your surname, Nightraid… it's in honor of that guild, right?"
"Yes. And…" She took off her shirt, causing Wave to blush and look away. "...Dude, I'm wearing a bra. You're good."
"Well, ya never know…" Wave said as he turned back around. "What did you want to show me, your breasts?"
"No, not that." Kurome reached to the right side of her chest, just below the shoulder. "We had the technology where we could conceal anything within our skin, making it look like ordinary skin… but with this skin patch, it conceals everything." She pulled it off, letting out a pained grunt. "Forgot how much it pulls though…" She said and then took it off where Wave would see the Night Raid symbol on her chest, but also had an M and a heart surrounding Night Raid's symbol.
"What's with the M and the heart?" Wave asked.
"Oh those? Kagura custom made it. The tattoo is a combination of Night Raid and Mermaid Heel. She wanted to honor both guilds. Unfortunately, Mermaid Heel disintegrated a hundred years ago, so really, Night Raid was the only guild Mistral had left, but there were still memorabilia of Mermaid Heel in Night Raid… at least, not anymore…"
"I've heard about Night Raid. They were a group of well respected, yet feared assassins, right?"
"Yeah." Kurome sat on the bed. "Everyone knew not to mess with them. We were the best of the best with all unique semblances. Some were hereditary… but once there was a target to eliminate, whether it was in Mistral, Vale, or anywhere else in the world, we'd strike them down. We have a lot of safe houses, so when we assassinate someone, we usually hide out in the safe houses until the heat dies down."
"Interesting…" Wave mused. "Were they all bad? The people you assassinate?"
"Yeah, though sometimes the assassinations can be a bit… messy. Sometimes you accidentally kill an innocent who was at the wrong place at the wrong time. We do pay our respects for the innocents when the heat dies down. We're assassins, but we're honorable."
"That's good… so, what happened five years ago?"
BGM: Shukumei (Fairy Tail)
"It was another ordinary day… me and my sister were training when an agent for Salem came in. A faunus… he was a scorpion. I think he called himself… Tourian? Tyrannus? Whatever his name is… our parents told us to flee while they took care of him. However, he destroyed them all… leaving me and Akame behind. He burnt it down…"
Kurome trembled. "Every last one of them…" Tears swelled in her eyes. "A legacy built for nearly a millennia… destroyed in seconds…" Tears fell through her cheeks.
"How many were in the guild?"
"Two hundred… and he slaughtered them all!"
Wave's eyes widened. "Dude…"
"Only Akame and I were spared. We ran away before he could kill us… we ran away to Vacuo. We shed our Mikazuchi name for safety reasons… I also grabbed this while we escaped…" She said, holding on to Archenemy. "But as far as I'm concerned… the Mikazuchi clan is extinct…"
"C'mere." Wave opened his arms as Kurome softly cried into his chest. "I think I understand. You didn't tell anyone because you didn't want this Scorpion guy to find out and kill you and Akame."
"I want to kill him but… I feel like the two of us aren't ready…"
"And I also have this feeling you didn't want to tell us in fear for our safety too, right?"
"Mhm…"
Wave lightly smiled. "Yeah, I get that. Although, I doubt this scorpion guy will get very far with the likes of Bols, Najenda, Sheele, Seryu, or even General Esdeath for that matter. Don't see him overpowering her anytime soon… but it's understandable."
"I didn't want to tell you… but the secret can be too overbearing sometimes… I had to tell someone… and I trust you the most…"
Wave smiled. "Well, I'm honored, though… I'm surprised you didn't tell Bols about this. Although, now that I think about it, he does go and tell his family everything about his day and doesn't miss a detail. That in turn would cause his daughter to tell her friends at school, which… yeah, that'll definitely cause a domino effect."
"I couldn't tell Najenda because… she's General Esdeath's second in command after Winter and she tells her everything… I trust them all, but I… don't trust them enough…"
"That'll do it. But hey, I'm sure they will completely understand why you hid this from them. And you know what? I can imagine General Esdeath giving you one of her motherly hugs."
"I… I'm not ready yet…"Kurome said, pulling away.
"That's fine." Wave said as he looked down at the sword. "So, what's so special about this sword?"
"It's called Archenemy. It was Kagura's weapon… her semblance was gravity manipulation where she could affect the field around her and kill anyone without mercy. She even managed to infuse her semblance within the sword… so that anyone could use her gravity manipulation."
"Semblance infusion? I thought that was just a myth!"
Kurome unsheathed it. "I've only ever tried it once…" She said as she swung the sword as Wave felt the gravity around them being manipulated as she swung the sword to the left, as a lamp was thrown into a wall, shattering it instantly.
"Whoa…" Wave said as Kurome sheathed the sword.

"Incredible, isn't it?"
"It sure is. …Was that my lamp that I gifted you for Christmas?"
Kurome grimaced. "Oooh… sorry."
"Ah, it's no big deal… I didn't like the design on it anyway." He then looked at Kurome who was putting the skin patch back on. "Why are you putting it back on?"
"It's reusable!"
"Nice." Wave leaned back on the bed. "Ya know, I wonder how your sister is holding up…"
Meanwhile…
"I could've sworn I introduced you to my friends…" Chelsea said sheepishly as ATMC, Sea5ons, CRDL and Yor were all hanging out at the park. "Anyway, this is Akame, Tatsumi, Mine, Whitley, Ling, Kokoro, though we call her Kokoron as a nickname, her cat Yukina, Cardin, Russel, Dove and Sky Lark. Guys, this is my adoptive mother, Yor."
"A pleasure to meet you all!" Yor smiled.
"You never really did tell us your past now that I think about it." Mine mused. "Is it a bit of a sore spot? If it is, I won't pry…"
"No no, it's okay. Back then, my former parents were alcoholics and they seemed to be more interested in their alcohol then they were to me. The only time they would pay attention to me is out of obligation… and every year, it got worse and worse until they were drunk twenty four seven. Finally, I snapped and practically disowned them, threw my birth certificate into the shredder and walked out. For three weeks, I was roughing it… and I actually was a bit of a criminal given how I stole food when no one was looking. Then, the day after my thirteenth birthday… I met Yor. And, sometime after I told her my story, she adopted me and became the best mother I could have."
"Wait, you were with those deadbeats for twelve years?" Mine asked after Chelsea kissed Yor on the cheek.
"Yeah… I was hoping they would come to their senses. Hell, every birthday wish or wishing upon a shooting star, I wished they would ditch the alcohol and become loving parents. …They never came true. I lost all hope, and I did a throwaway on my thirteenth when I stole a cake and some candles, wishing someone would come and be a better parent… to my surprise, that wish came true."
"Damn, I would've left those deadbeats a long time ago." Cardin rubbed his head. "But you held out hoping for the best…"
"Yeah. I even slapped them out of frustration but they didn't seem to care that much."
"Sometimes the best thing to do is to walk away." A voice said as they turned to see Ozpin walking over with Mavis and Laxus near him.
"Yeah… hell, I secretly hoped they would realize the error of their ways the moment I walked out the door. Nope… that didn't work out either."
"So, Tatsumi." Laxus spoke up. "Heard you finally got the keys that I've been looking for."
"Yeah, you can thank Kailene for that." Tatsumi said, looking at his Klefki.
"Glad I had a spare Pokeball that Gloria gave me." Akame said.
"It's interesting though… I've never seen a sentient key ring before…" Yor mused. "And I've never seen one that's absolutely adorable!"
"Klef…" Kailene blushed.
"So, I heard you already summoned two of them." Laxus said.
"Yeah, Aquarius and Virgo, though Virgo popped in by herself."
"Yeah, she did that with Lucy all the time." Laxus shrugged it off. "So how was Aquarius? She can be a bit rough around the edges but-"
"Weeeell, she shook my shoulders in a rage when I said I thought they were useless artifacts."
"...You what."
"That was exactly my reaction too." Mavis said.
"Yeah… I didn't think there was any value to 'em."
"You have the most powerful keys in Remnant, passed down from Lucy's line for generations and… you, being the descendant of Lucy and Natsu… thought they were useless artifacts."
"Unfortunately, yes." Mine glared at Tatsumi.
Laxus sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Honestly, I can't tell who's the bigger numbskull. You or Natsu…" He mumbled. "Actually, scratch that, Natsu's still the biggest idiot." He said and then let out a chuckle. "Funny, I feel like I can hear him screaming at me from the other side."
At the other side…
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING AN IDIOT?! DON'T MAKE ME COME DOWN THERE, YOU LIGHTNING PUNK!" Natsu yelled as Lucy and Happy had to restrain him. "I'LL SHOW YOU WHO'S THE BIGGER IDIOT, YOU SON OF A-"
Back on Remnant…
Ozpin chuckled. "I can too."
"He is a major loud mouth, after all." Mavis nodded.
Laxus rubbed his chin. "...Hey, wait a moment…" He said. "You say that you thought they were useless artifacts. Why is that, exactly?"
"Well… I know my mom used them every time she went out on a mission. However, I thought the keys were just… odd weapons to use. She told me they were heirlooms but that was about it. Then she entrusted me with them because she thought it was time. Of course, she never told me that they were summons so I thought these keys could turn into swords, guns or other melee weapons. When none of that happened, I just put them away in the attic because I thought they were just worthless."
Laxus nodded. "That'll do it. She never told you."
"Wait, so that means…!" Mine grimaced. "Oh gods, I'm so sorry for slapping you!"
"WAIT, THAT'S THE REASON?!" A voice yelled as Aquarius summoned herself. "Your mother didn't tell you about us?! Uuuugh, I knew she was a bit of a scatterbrain but come on!" She groaned. "...While I'm still a bit miffed we got left in the attic, I completely understand why you thought that way."
"Well, this is… awkward, isn't it?" Mavis sheepishly said with a blush.
"I wondered why you never knew about Celestial summons…" Ozpin mused before chuckling. "That explains it."
"...Wait a minute, how were you able to summon yourself?" Tatsumi asked. "Virgo, I kinda understand, but-"
"That's only for me to know." Aquarius said, rubbing her temples together. "I kept reminding her that she had to tell you, but does she listen? No!" She sighed in annoyance. "Well… have fun summoning the others. They're dying to meet you." She said and then disappeared.
"...She didn't even apologize." Akame said.
"She usually doesn't." Laxus said.
"Alright… let's get to meet the others." Tatsumi said as Kailene opened herself up as Tatsumi took the keys and smirked.
BGM: Fairy Tail Theme (Fairy Tail!)
"Open! Gate of the Golden Bull! Taurus!"
At that moment, a bull Faunus came out while wielding a golden axe… and he immediately lunged at Chelsea. "Hey gorgeous, you want a smoooooch~?"
"Ugh! No! I'm not the one who summoned you!"
At that moment, Cardin slugged him in the face. "Back off, horn dog!" He growled.
"Hi, I'm the one who summoned you!" Tatsumi waved.
"Aha! So you're the big guy I've heard about!" Taurus wrapped his arm around Tatsumi. "How about later, the two of us head to a bar later!"
"I'm… too young for that."
"Aw, you're no fun… but that's understandable! Call me if you need any heavy lifting!" He then turned to the ladies. "As for you ladies, call me~!" He said and then disappeared before Cardin could swing at him again.
"Tch… who does he think he is…"
"Open! Gate of the Giant Crab! Cancer!"
"Need a haircut, baby?" Cancer snipped his scissors. "I can make anyone's hairstyle come true. I can also humiliate foes by making them bald!"
"...Oh, that should be hilarious!" Mine laughed. "You think you could hit me up with a haircut?"
"You… you remind me of Lucy's friend, Mirajane. Allow me to change your hairstyle!" Cancer immediately gave Mine a makeover. "What do you think, baby?"
"Eh… I prefer my pigtails."
"Sooo, is no one gonna point out that he made her hair grow?" Russel pointed out as Cancer reverted Mine's hair back to normal.
"Much better!" She smiled as Cancer disappeared shortly after.
"Open! Gate of the Archer! Sagittarius!"
"Hup!" Sagittarius appeared before them, saluting. "Need me to strike people down with pinpoint accuracy? I am your horse!"
"Sounds good to me." Tatsumi said and then Sagittarius disappeared. "Open! Gate of the Lion! Leo!"
"Ack!" Yor yelped, finding herself swooped up by Loke in his arms.
"Hello, gorgeous~" He flirted. "Ya know, for someone named Tatsumi, you're quite attractive!"
Yor blushed a deep red. "Um… I'm not Tatsumi… he is!"
Loke looked up. "...Oh! That's embarrassing." He said, putting Yor down and walked up to him.
"So, you're Leo, eh?"
"Eh, my friends call me Loke." He waved it off, then spotting Laxus. "Sup."
"Hey." Laxus greeted and then Loke spotted Mavis and winked at her, causing her to blush.
"Anyway, you need me for anything, just give me a ring." He said and disappeared.
"Open! Gate of the Twins! Gemini!"
At that moment, twin Chameleon faunus appeared in front of them. One was male, the other was female. "Oh, adorable!" Chelsea smiled.
"So, what can you two little ones do?" Tatsumi asked.
"We can do this!" They said in unison, morphing into one and transforming into Tatsumi, which was enough to freak everyone out that wasn't from Fairy Tail.
"Hey… not bad. A handsome devil, if I say so myself!" Tatsumi said.
"Oh, of course he would!" Mine groaned as they turned back to normal.
"Sooo, are you both named Gemini or…?"
The small male Chamelon faunus smiled. "I'm actually Gemi! My sister is named Mini!"
"Yup!" His twin sister grinned.
"That's good to know. I imagine you two like to copy everyone?"
"Straight to their semblance and fighting style!"
Tatsumi chuckled. "Good to know." He said as they disappeared. "Open! Gate of the Ram! Aries!"
"H-hello…" Aries shyly waved. "I… I'm happy to see you finally…"
"Aw, she's shy… kinda reminds me of myself." Kokoro said.
"Nice to meet you!" Tatsumi smiled.
"N-nice to meet you too… hope you can find me useful…" She said and disappeared.
"Open! Gate of the Goat! Capricorn!"
"...I never thought I'd see a celestial spirit with shades." Sky said.
"It's an honor to finally meet you, Tatsumi." Capricorn said. "Hope you can rely on us in the future." He then disappeared.
"Open! Gate of the Scorpion! Scorpio!"
Scorpion?! Akame and Yor thought as Scorpio appeared, causing the two to flinch immediately.
"YO! What's up, party people!" Scorpio exclaimed. "Nice to meet ya, Tatsumi!"
"Yeah, nice to meet you too!" Tatsumi smiled, both of them clasping their hands with smirks on their faces.
"You need someone to get sand blasted with, you know who to call, my man!"
"You got it!" Tatsumi grinned as Scorpio disappeared, which caused Yor and Akame to relax. "Open! Gate of the Paired Fish! Pisces!"
Two Koi Fish Faunus appeared before them, a mother and son duo. "...Why does the woman have a large chest?" Mine sweatdropped as the mother hugged Tatsumi tightly… and his face was in her chest.
"Oh, it's so nice to meet you!" She smiled,
"Mmmph! Can't! Breathe…!" He said, flailing his arms as Mine puffed her cheek a bit in jealousy.
"A little jealous, are we?" Ling asked.
"No!" Mine folded her arms while looking away in annoyance.
Jealous… Whitley thought with a chuckle.
Tatsumi managed to pull away. "Haaaa… pleasure to meet you guys."
The son chuckled. "About time you called us up. Call if you need anything."
"Right." Tatsumi nodded as the two disappeared as Tatsumi pulled the last key. "Open! Gate of the Heavenly Scales! Libra!"
An ox faunus appeared, and to everyone's curiosity, she had a veil over her mouth. "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Tatsumi."
"Same to you." He said.
"I hope my assistance will be to your liking." She said and then disappeared.

"Welp, that's everyone." Tatsumi chuckled, handing the keys back to Kailene.
"Klef!"
"Speaking of which… there's something we need to discuss, Tatsumi." Ozpin said as he motioned him over.
"Okay…?" Tatsumi walked over to them.
"Oh! Speaking of Pokemon… we have some of our own!" Chelsea smiled.
"You do?" Yor asked as she turned to everyone and nodded, as they called out their own Pokemon. She gasped in awe. "Oh my goodness, they're all so cute!" She gushed and then gently took Chelsea's Pokeball. "Though… I'm curious how a creature as big as that boulder rhino can fit in such a tiny ball…"
"Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me either but we just roll with it." Mine said, petting her Gorebyss and Slowbro.
Yor giggled. "Well, I like 'em!" She said as she stared at Meloetta. "That one look likes like a pop sensation!"
Kokoro giggled. "We first met back up in space during the Phazon War and Meloetta took a shining to me. This big hand, known as Master Hand, took notice of this of how much she likes to hang out with me that he decided to hand her Pokeball over to me, noting how much we bonded. Of course, his brother wasn't too thrilled over the idea."
"A big hand?" Yor wondered, picturing a person with a ridiculously large hand. Oooh, something tells me this guy doesn't get a lot of dates… She thought.
"Meloetta!" Meloetta smiled, as Yor noticed Mitsuki and Somei giving each other a death glare before they proceeded to beat the living crap out of each other again.
"Huh? What's with them?" Yor asked.
"Ooooh…" Akame groaned. "Unfortunately, Seviper and Zangoose are naturally born enemies, so of course they'd be fighting…"
"SeeeVIPER!" Mitsuki lunged a Poison Tail at Somei.
"Zaaaan!" Somei unleashed Crush Claw on him.
"WHO SAID YOU TWO COULD FIGHT!" Akame yelled angrily, causing the two to panic and quickly stood at attention with them sweating. "Sigh… much better…"
With Tatsumi…
"Wait, so you mean to tell me that Lucy had her semblance evolved to the point where she made these dresses, called Star Dresses, to where she could use the power of the Celestials to give her a power boost in battle?" Tatsumi said.
"Pretty much!" Mavis nodded.
"That's so cool!" Tatsumi said.
"Just one question. You don't mind cross dressing, do you?" Virgo asked, holding a measuring tape and taking his measurements.
"No, not at a- VIRGO?!" Tatsumi yelled.
"Hello~!"
"...I didn't even summon you!"
"Princess Lucy said the same thing to me. Now, do you do breast pads or no?"'
"No, I don't crossdress! Do I look like I wanna be humiliated! For the record, I don't have the guts like Cardin, thank you very much!"
"No dresses? Well, we could put you into a Star Tuxedo. Probably wouldn't look as fashion-" An idea popped into your head. "Oh! That reminds me, you could have Star Armor."
"Star Armor?" Tatsumi asked.
"Yes. Think you could show me your armor real quick?"
Tatsumi nodded, pulling out his Barroth Armor. "What do you think?"
"Hmm…" Virgo rubbed her chin, closely inspecting his armor. "This armor's colors… it definitely looks like the Incursio Star Armor."
"Incursi… what now?"
BGM: Guild Memories (Fairy Tail)
"Oh, right. You see, long ago in the Celestial Spirit Realm, there was a rogue celestial spirit by the name of Tyrant. He was a powerful dragon spirit… he fed on his defeated foes' energy, causing him to be extremely strong. He was so powerful that none of us could take him down. The only ones who were able to put up a decent fight was Loke and the Celestial Spirit King. However, he knocked down Loke and almost killed the Celestial King, but he pulled through and defeated him."
Virgo closed her eyes. "He sealed Tyrant away in an armor known as the Incursio Star Armor. It was to make sure to safely keep his powers safe and to ensure it wouldn't cause havoc. However… when we tried on the armor, it was enough to make anyone go insane just by wearing it. Not even Loke could overcome it."
"...How insane are we talking?" Tatsumi asked.
"Basically, when you don that armor, you can't even tell who's friend or foe. Your mind goes feral and all you can think about is chaos and destruction. When we told Princess Lucy about this, she thought she could handle it… we warned her, but she thought she could power through. However, the moment she put it on…"
Flashback…
"GRAAAAAAAAAAGH!" Lucy screamed, convulsing violently as she clutched her head. "Nnngh! Aaaagh!"
"Lucy!" Gray exclaimed.
Natsu immediately rushed by her side. "Lucy, take it off!"
"Agh… I can… I can handle it… I think I got it…" She fought to get up, but it was enough to make her fall flat on the ground and convulsed even harder. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!"
"That's it, I'm taking this off!" Natsu said.
In an instant, Lucy's pupils turned blood red and her scelera black as she grabbed Natsu by the throat and pinned him to a wall. "Power… absolute power… HAHAHAHAHA!" Her voice was twisted and demented.
"Lucy…?" Wendy asked with horror in her voice.
"Lucy, fight it girl!" Levy pleaded.
Lucy threw Natsu to her friends and hunched over with an evil aura surrounding her. Her mouth twisted into an evil smirk. "You fools. You thought you could use my power for your own purposes in this realm? You are sorely mistaken!"
Erza hesitantly called out a sword. "Release Lucy right this instant!"
"Hahahaha… I'd love to see you try, TITANIA." Her voice had almost completely changed into a draconic male voice.
In a flash, Virgo was in front of Lucy and struck the pressure points in the body, causing Lucy to fall limp in an instant as she immediately chanted some words to get the armor off of her. "Uuungh…" Lucy groaned.
End Flashback…
"Tyrant is still very much alive… his soul is attached to the armor. Lucy almost died because of it… her mind was shattered for a few weeks until she finally recovered. As a result, she was not eager to put it back on and demanded that none of her descendants wear such a thing."
"I was not there when it happened." Ozpin said. "But when I heard the news, I also deemed it highly dangerous to wear it."
"Wait, so the longer you wear it, the stronger Tyrant's hold becomes?" Tatsumi asked.
"Yes. If Lucy had worn it for much longer, she would have become Tyrant's puppet. In short, he would have been in full control of Lucy's body and destroyed Remnant. And Lucy? She would have been gone forever. Her consciousness and soul almost bound with him and she would have been erased. He would be in Lucy's body, ruling over Remnant with an iron fist if I hadn't stepped in."
Tatsumi grimaced. "So… the Incursio Star Armor… it's a double edged sword. You become powerful, yet if you wear it too long, you'll become Tyrant's puppet."
"Yes." Virgo nodded. "Which is why I suggested a Star Tuxedo instead. That way, you won't have your mind shattered."

Tatsumi folded his arms. "I'd like to summon the Incursio Star Armor… mostly as a last resort."
Virgo grimaced. "That's… not a very good last resort, but… if you insist."
"I'm going to have to talk some sense into this Tyrant. I'm going to make sure I'm in control of him and not in control of me."
"It's extremely difficult. Loke couldn't pull it off. Not even the Celestial King could control him… it's extremely dangerous." Virgo warned.
"It's a risk I'm willing to take."
Virgo closed her eyes, reluctantly nodding. "Understood… Princess Lucy was the same way." She let out a chuckle. "I'll see what I can do with these Star Tuxedos." She said and then disappeared.
"You sure that's a good idea?" Laxus asked.
"Yeah, I'm pretty sure."
"...Alright, but if that guy takes control of you, I'm not holding myself responsible for destroying you and the armor." He warned.
"Right." Tatsumi nodded.
Back with the others…
"So, Kokoron… tell me more about yourself. I'm curious." Yor said.
"Hmm?" Kokoro looked at her while sitting next to her while playing with Lyra and Beat. "Oh, well… I used to live in Vacuo but I ran away from home."
"You did?" Yor asked.
"Yes. My parents were bright and had a love for music, in fact, my dad was the one who had me discover my love for music. I loved to sing and play the piano… but one day, dad passed away. I think mom took it the hardest. She… turned into someone different. Somebody who was kind and caring was turned… malicious. She was rough on me, mentally and vocally abusing me… especially when we were out at parties where she kept saying I was an embarrassment to her. At one point, I was forced to sing in front of an audience and… I didn't want to do it, but mom forced me. When I sang… I messed up on some lyrics. Sure, the audience loved it regardless but mom? She said I embarrassed her…"
"Oh my…"
"At that point, I had enough and chewed her out at home. I said some things, she said some things… but then I reached my breaking point and screamed at her, saying something along the lines of "I'd rather die than be with you for another second" and ran away from home a few minutes after. I arrived at Toad Town a few days after the Shroob invasion and ran into Ms. Focaccia."
"You poor thing…"
"However, there's not a day that goes by where I actually think about mom. Honestly… I'm not sure if she's even alive. She would sometimes drink a little too much wine."
Yor folded her arms. "Your story is kinda similar to Chelsea's now that I think about it."
Kokoro giggled. "Honestly, that would explain why she was so attached to me. She's like an older sister I never had."
Yor closed her eyes. "Is that right…" She smiled and opened her eyes. "Hey, Chelsea?"
"Yeah?" Chelsea turned to her.
"How would you like a new sister?"
"HUH?!" Everyone exclaimed in surprise.
"Huh?" Tatsumi walked over with Ozpin, Mavis and Laxus. "What'd we miss?"
Later…
BGM: Little Wonders (Meet the Robinsons)
"That should be the last of it…" Focaccia said, helping Kokoro pack. "I'll be honest, this caught me by surprise." She said but then smiled. "But I'm happy for you."
"I'm gonna miss this place…" Kokoro said softly before she handed the apron to her.
"No, keep the apron, Kokoro. Even if you're now living with a new family, you can still come back to help out here at the bakery anytime you like."
Kokoro smiled. "Okay then." She said as she picked up her suitcase and walked out the door. "...Oh! I almost forgot!" She turned around and gave Foccacia one last hug. "Thank you for everything, Ms. Focaccia."
"You're welcome, dear. One of these days, I should come visit you."
"We'd love that. Right, Yukina?"
Yukina popped out of her bag. "Mrow!"
Focaccia giggled. "You two stay safe." She said as they walked out the door, the Toadette hiding her tears. "Oh gods, I'm gonna miss her…"
Kokoro walked out the door, looking back at the bakery one last time before heading off where Yor and Chelsea were waiting for her.
Once at Yor's home…
Kokoro walked into her new room, her eyes sparkling and seeing her room big and spacious, decked out in yellow, brown and white colors. A queen sized bed against the wall next to a patio door that would head straight into the backyard, a desk was against another wall as there was a karaoke machine next to it.
She would then see a present next to a window as her eyes widened, she unwrapped it to discover a new electric keyboard. "A new electric keyboard?!"
"Surprise!" Yor smiled as Kokoro turned around, her eyes tearing up as she hugged her.
"Thank you so much… I love it!" She silently sobbed as Yor ruffled her hair and knelt down, kissing her on the forehead.
"I'll leave you to yourself for a bit." Yor said gently, hugging her as Kokoro planted a kiss on her cheek as Yor walked away. Kokoro turned back and wiped her tears as Yukina popped out of her bag while her Plusle, Minus and Meloetta popped out of their Pokeballs and hugged Kokoro.
Chelsea sat on the couch with Yor, both of them smiling. "So… are we ever going to tell her that… you know…"
"Oh, I'm sure she'll figure it out. After all, it took you two days to figure it out~" Yor winked.
"Good point." Chelsea smiled.
End BGM
"I have to say…" A voice said as Akame leaned on a wall. "I'm surprised you picked a bigger safe house. Usually you go for a smaller compact one like in Vacuo."
"Well, this one was the closest to Beacon so I could be near Chelsea all the time. Of course… Beacon's out of commission for a while." She giggled. "It doesn't matter, I get to spend more time with my girls!" Yor smiled, roping Chelsea in for a hug as the latter giggled.
At that moment, Akame had an idea and pulled out her scroll. "Say cheese." She said, snapping a photo and then sent it to Kurome.
With Kurome…
Kurome ate a few cookies, humming to herself as her scroll went off. "Hmm?" She wondered as she looked into it while drinking some water, only to do a spit take. "WHAT?!"
"Guess who?"
Kurome would see Yor in a photo, her eyes widening. "No way… no freakin' way…" She said.
"What's got you all riled up?" Lubbock asked as he walked over to her. She immediately sprang up and quickly ran off. "Hey! You didn't have to give me the cold shoulder!" He mumbled as Kurome would spot Wave chatting with Bulat.
"So I was saying-"
"Excuse me for a second!" Kurome took his arm and yanked him away.
"Waaaah!"
Bulat raised an eyebrow. "Odd…"
Kurome pulled Wave into her room. "You're not gonna believe this…"
"Aside from nearly pulling my shoulder out of its socket?" Wave asked as Kurome pulled up her scroll.
"Look!"
Wave took a look. "...Is that your sister? Damn! You see her one time during the Blorb crisis and she gets a massive glow up! Sheesh, she's hot!"
"You dummy! That's not Akame! That's our aunt Yor!"
"Oh… well, your aunt's hot then." Wave said, earning him a smack upside the head. "Ow! What?"
"On that day when it happened… Aunt Yor went to get some groceries. I… I thought she was killed as well. She's one of the strongest assassins from the guild, and she's not even related by blood!"
"Wait, what?"
"Yeah, she married into the family. She fell in love with one of our assassins and she didn't know. But when she found out, she thought he was, and I quote "A hundred percent cooler". They soon married and to our surprise, she was extremely capable of being an assassin. In fact, that's how she unlocked her semblance too. She was one of our strongest assassins…"
"Well, hey, at least there's another Mikazuchi in the wild!"
"Honestly… I think she went back to her maiden name, Neves, to protect herself from the scorpion guy."
Kurome texted Akame back.
Where is she?
One of the safe houses in Vale. It's the one next to Beacon Academy.
On my way!
Kurome turned to Wave. "Will you come with me?"
"Of course!" Wave nodded as the two took off.
Back in Vale…
"So, what was the picture for?" Yor asked.
"Oh, it's a surprise. Should be here shortly." Akame said.
"Okay, Akame. Spill it. What's your relationship to mom here? Aside from being her niece."
Akame rubbed her shoulder. "Ah, well… how do I explain this… you see-"
Ding dong!
"That was fast." Akame said as she walked over to the door and opened it up, revealing Kurome who was panting while Wave was on his butt.
"Holy crap, woman… you know how to run!"
"Is it true?" Kurome asked as Akame nodded, letting her in as Kurome walked in and spotted Yor.
Yor gasped, her eyes widening in surprise. "Kurome?!"
"A-Aunt Yor… you're alive…" Kurome teared up as Chelsea moved from her mother's lap as Yor stood up, opening her arms up as Kurome glomped her into a hug, crying into her chest as Yor returned the hug.
"Hey sweetie." Yor said gently as Wave walked in and closed the door.
Damn, she's hotter in person… Wave thought. "How about that…"
Kurome broke the hug. "I thought you were dead!"
"I thought you two were dead too…" Yor said, wiping away her tears.
Kurome smiled. "We have a lot to catch up on."
