Lapis POV
The christmas party was great.
Everyone had a good time.
We watched movies, built our first ever snowman. We even had some nice sweaters….Peridot sure looked cute, Jamie's was also with a funny reindeer
Like I said, a good time well aside from snowman thawing later on and nearly flooding the beach, that wasn't nice.
It was worth it though, we were together like a big family. Everyone was there, Steven, Peridot, Bismuth….with Mr Universe and Jamie's parents even joining us.
However it's time to be back to work now.
Today me, Jamie and Steven warped to an unknown planet. We heard a rumor that two gems were terraforming planets even when Steven already made peace.
"Okay. This shouldn't take too long. Most Gems come around pretty quickly when I invite them to Little Homeschool in person." Steven said as we walked around.
"What a gorgeous planet!" I exclaimed, looking around.
It really was. All the plant life was just beautiful and unique. Luckily, it had an atmosphere so Steven and Jamie could breathe.
Me and Jamie gasped as we saw a big flower bud creature on the ground. It's flower was red and pink while the creature was light blue.
"Woah." Steven exclaimed.
Steven kneeled down and gave it a little poke. The creature got up, scared, closed it's bud, and ran into a bush to hide. Which made more buds pop their heads out of the bush.
The three of us looked at each other and then Steven walked over to the bush with the buds.
Steven then carefully started to pet the bud.
"It's okay, little guy."
The bud then climbed onto Steven's arm and climbed over his shoulders. That made Steven laugh. In then made it's way in Steven's arms as he held it.
"Wow, Steven. It took you a whole five seconds to make a new friend. You're getting rusty." I said, walking over to Steven, just teasing him.
Lapis followed me and started to pet the bud Steven was holding.
"You know, I never used to notice creatures like this. Before Earth, you, Peridot, and Pumpkin I used to terraform planets without thinking twice. I wonder what I destroyed. Life like this is so precious." Lapis thought out loud.
The little bud creature then opened it's bud to show it's beautiful flower.
Jamie then said smiling "It's not like that anymore Lapis"
The ones in the bushes by us opened there's as well.
Then two shadows flew over us as the creatures closed their buds fast, in fear.
"Uh, Steven?" Lapis asked, looking up.
The bud in Steven's arms and ran into a bush. We then walked over to a cliff and saw all the destruction.
"Never mind" Jamie frowned at his previous statement
Looking up at the rins it certainly has a sign of it being terraformed
"Ah, so the rumors are true." Steven said, hoping things won't get out of hand.
"You think they didn't get your message that the gems are destroying planets anymore?" I asked.
"I'm sure they did. Everyone did...
Jamie remarked "Apparently not all of them"
...But I'll get them to stop." Steven smiled at me.
"This might be harder than you think." Lapis said to him.
"Don't worry, Lapis, he has help from the back gems group." Jamie exclaimed, holding a fist bump.
Jamie and I had a little group called the 'back gems' because my gem and his "scar" were on our backs. Bad comparison but it works really
Lapis smiled and returned the fist bump.
Two figures flew by us.
"There they are!" Steven exclaimed.
The two were lapis' gems from what we could see and them using water powers.
The two then started to terraform a mountain...with them laughing
"Hey! Stop!" Steven yelled.
The two then looked at Steven and then sent a giant title wave at us.
Steven pulled out his shield and protected us from the wave.
After he protect us, one of the gems gasped.
"He's smaller than I thought." The other gem said.
Steven made his shield go away as the two flew down to us and landed.
Now that they were closer, we got a good look at them.
They both looked like me but one had a darker blue skin tone, kind of like a gray blue-ish color, she had curly short hair, and her gem was in her shoulder. The other had a dark blue skin tone with white freckles on her cheeks, her hair was in a small ponytail, and her gem was on her stomach.
"Well, what do you think? We're almost done with this world." The one with the freckles said.
"And who's this? We don't need the extra help." The one with the curly hair said, looking at me.
"You must have heard about our exemplary work. That's why you're here, I presume." The freckled one said.
"Yeah. Well, no. Look, the empire is over." Steven said.
"We know!" She replied.
"The diamonds don't control you anymore." Steven said.
"That's right." The curly haired one said.
"...So, you don't have to terraform planets for them anymore." Steven explained.
"You're free to do whatever you like. Why don't you come on down to Little Homeschool where you can-"
"Oh, I see. This is just a misunderstanding." The one with the freckles said.
"Terraforming is what we like." The curly haired one said.
I sighed. 'Just great
"Here we go..." I said.
"Uh, okay, wait. You're free to do whatever you like... as long as it's not destroying a world." Steven said.
"That's not what you said a second ago." The curly haired one said.
"Why would we stop?" The one with the freckles responded.
"Because it's wrong!" I yelled.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. How can the thing we've always done just suddenly be wrong? At the very least, we've got to finish this world! We're almost done!" The freckled one said.
"...Team huddle?" Steven asked.
"Team huddle." Jamie and I said. "One moment, please." Steven said. We then went a little ways away from them and huddled together.
"You're right. This is harder than usual." Steven said.
"You've just got to force them to stop. This is going to be a fight. They're not nice like me." Lapis said.
"Uhmm..." Steven and I exclaimed.
"Exactly." Lapis said.
"They just don't understand that they're doing harm. Y-you get it. What made it click for you?" Steven asked.
"A cycle of horrible torture...But other than that, living in nature, getting creative." Lapis explained.
"Well that was dark...but on creative part, you won't know better if you don't try" Jamie said
"Yeah. Come on! We can do that for them." Steven said.
"Okay. Just a little torture." I said.
"N-no, just the other stuff." Steven replied. Lapis sighed.
"Fine. We'll try it your way." She said. The three of us walked back to the two Lapis.
"Hey, so, why don't we explore the many things that you can do that don't involve destroying worlds?" Steven asked.
"Should we listen to him?" The curly haired one asked.
"He is half diamond. Maybe we should have listen." The freckled one said. "I'll take that as a yes. Let's go." Steven said.
The freckled one then looked strangely at Jamie.
"Huh never knew organic can look so much like us"
"He does look like a pearl to me" The mean one said
The three of us frowned at that but we let that slide for some other time.
We then took the two into the forest. Steven sighed.
"Look at the trees. Smell the fresh air. Getting any life-altering tingling sensations yet?" Steven asked the two.
"Everything is so...bright." The freckled one said, looking around. The curly haired lapis was poking a leaf with a stick.
"I prefer only two colors. The colors of rock and mud." She said.
That Lapis is kinda mean.
"I understand you don't see the beauty of this, but you will. There was a time when I couldn't see it either, but I learned to appreciate organic life. It's really different and special. Maybe, try something like this."
I said, then I started to use my powers to make the mud and the water move to make an interesting shape.
"This is 'meep morp'. It's subjective and debatable, but it's meep morp nonetheless." Steven explained.
"So, you can do whatever you want with your powers, and you choose to make junk?" The mean Lapis said.
"I-It doesn't have to be exactly this. You can create anything." Lapis explained.
I then made two lounge chairs which Steven and Jamie sat in. I then made more mud into sunglasses and beverage. Steven then drank some of it and then immediately spit it out.
"So lifelike, I forgot." Steven said.
"Okay?" The mean lapis wondered. "It's more satisfying than you think. Trust me. Just give it a try." I said. The two then took the water from the mud and made a sphere with it.
"That's it! Try making other shapes, too! Anything you want." I said.
The two then made the sphere into a buzzsaw and sent it flying past the three of us and into a mountain, destroying it.
"That was way easier than what we've been doing!" The mean lapis exclaimed.
"Yeah! We can clear out this planet in no time!" The nicer one exclaimed. The two laughed.
"Steven, Jamie, I don't think this isn't working." Lapis said to us.
Steven then approached them and cleared his throat.
"Looks like you two still have a lot of energy to get out. Maybe you'd like something more physical like dancing." Steven said.
"Dancing?" The nice lapis asked.
"Just, check it out." Steven said.
Jamie though wasn't fully concvinced this would work "Uhm Lapis, Steven...while I would agree it works with most gems out there. I...don't think this cuts with these two."
I asked him whyand he simply replied with "They are like teenagers from or town and I don't song or dance is something they will be attracted to"
"C'mon we had harder times than this. You said yourself you won't know better if you do not try" Steven said
Jamie was a little reluctant but decided to go along.
Steven then played a song on his phone and put it in the ground.
Steven and I started to dance together and then Lapis soon joins in.
The mean Lapis didn't seem impressed but the nice Lapis started to get it.
Steven, Jamie, and I looked at each other and smiled.
The nice Lapis started to dance a bit but noticed mean Lapis didn't approve.
"Uh...let's get back to it!" The nice Lapis exclaimed.
"I get it. This stuff won't make you feel good right away. Maybe, it never will. But, it will help you navigate your new way of feeling. If you don't like dancing, you could try to express yourself in song." I explained.
"Huh?" The mean lapis asks.
I looks at the and Steven and Jame gave me a nod.
I then started to sing.
"Ooo-ooo-oooh,
Why do bluuu-uuuu-uuue?
So many shades of sorrow,
Got mixed in my hue.
And each new moment just astounds me,
So much I want to do.
I finally feel my colors shining through.
I'm tired of the fighting,
I'm tired of the blame.

The two then laughed at me.
"You really except us to dance and sing like Pearls?" The mean one said and laughed more.
"Forget it, Steven Universe. You've already got a Lapis doing what you want, and look how dull it's made her, or was she always this pitiful?"
Lapis blushed in embarrassment.
"There's no need to be hurtful!" Steven yelled.
"Lapises, We're just trying to-" Jamie was speaking but the mean one interrupted
"Uh-uh-uh-uh-uh." The mean one said, to stop Jamie. "You've wasted enough of our time. Let's get back to it, shall we?"
The two then flew up and started to terraform the planet again.
I got angry and made my water wings appear.
"That's it! I've had enough of you two." I exclaimed.
"Wait, we agreed we wouldn't fight." Steven exclaimed.
"If we had done this my way, we would've been done from the start." I exclaimed and flew up to the two.
"Lapis Wait!" Steven exclaimed.
"Don't listen to what they said!" Jamie exclaimed
3rd pov.-
"Hey, you two! That's enough." Lapis exclaimed to the two, flying in front of them to stop them.
"Oh, look who it is." The mean Lapis said.
"Have you decided to give us a hand?" The nice Lapis asked.
"You could say that."
Lapis then made her water wings into two hands and she made them flick the two Lapis away a bit.
"Did she just do that?" The nice Lapis asked.
"She did that." The mean Lapis replied.
The two then made some water come up.
"Water hands, huh?" The mean Lapis remarked. "Mind if we try?"
They then made the water into a hand and slammed into Lapis.
Meanwhile, Steven and Holly were trying to get the bud creatures move out of way when they noticed Lapis heading towards them.
They gasped.
"Oh boy." Jamie exclaimed.
Steven then summoned his shield to protect them. Lapis stayed on top of his shield.
"Lapis! Are you okay?!" Steven exclaimed.
"I'm fine. Stay out of it." Lapis said getting up. She then summoned her wings and flew to the two again.
Lapis then tried to trap the two with water chains.
"Water chains?" The mean Lapis asked.
The two then flew up to dodge them.
"You really need to stop teaching us new things." The nice Lapis exclaimed.
They then made a giant water chain. It grabbed Lapis and slammed her into a cliff.
"Lapis!" Steven and Jamie exclaimed.
The chain then turned into two chains, holding Lapis' arms.
"We really have to thank you for all the wonderful things you taught us today." The nice Lapis exclaimed.
"Turns out they're not totally useless." The mean Lapis said.
The two then formed another buzzsaw from the water, sending it straight at Lapis.
"Look out!" Steven exclaimed.
"Yeah I know that!" Jamie exclaimed
Lapis then made the saw stop in front of her and dissipates. The world then started to shake, causing Steven and Jamie to back up a bit. A giant wave then came out from behind a mountain.
"Ahhh!" The two lapis exclaim as the wave slams into them, causing them to go underwater.
The water then surrounds Lapis making a giant figure of her.
The two then came up from under the water to look up at the giant figure of Lapis.
"Who's dull now?" Lapis exclaimed. "WHO'S PITIFUL NOW!?"
She then made the giant figure summon a water spear, ready to strike the two.
The nice Lapis hugged the mean one in terror.
Lapis then looks at Steven and Jamie with a smile but then her smile disappears.
Steven and Jamie were looking up at her, Steven held one of the bud creatures in her arms as a few were around them. Jamie also tilted his head, telling her that it's enough.
They then gave Lapis a look like saying 'is it really worth it?'
Lapis sighed. She then made her giant water self go away and she dropped down in front of the two gem hybrids.
"Hey. You okay?" Steven asks.
The bud creature jumps out of his arms and into Lapis'.
"Yeah. Sorry about that." Lapis said.
"Back gems?" Jamie asked, holding a fist bump.
"Back gems." Lapis said, returning James' fist bump.
Lapis then made the water go away and showed the two Lapis on the ground. The three of them flew down to the two.
"Hey, we're done. No more fighting." Lapis said to them.
"Sure!"
"Fine by me!"
The two exclaimed.
"And no more terraforming. You'll leave this planet alone?" Lapis asked.
"Uh huh!" The nice Lapis exclaimed.
"After that ridiculous show of strength, we'll do anything you say!" The mean Lapis exclaimed.
"That wasn't strength, that was weakness! Restraint takes strength. Patience takes strength!" Lapis yelled then groaned.
"I don't have the strength to deal with you." She said, walking away.
Jamie follows her, trying to comfort her "It's okay Lapis, we tried at least."
"Here's some brochures for our school in case you're interested." Steven said, giving the two brochures for Little Homeschool.
Later, the three warped back to Little Homeschool which, at the time, was nighttime.
Lapis then sat down by the warp, a bit sad. Jamie and Steven sat next to her.
"I wish I hadn't done that." Lapis said
"Take it easy Lapis. I too get angry soemtimes really, it'll work out" Jamie said
"It's just... they remind me so much of myself. It's infuriating." Lapis said.
"Give yourself a break. You've grown a lot. It's not your fault they're stuck in their ways." Steven said.
Lapis smiled at James.
"Back gems?" Lapis asked, holding a fist bump up.
"Back gems." Holly replied, giving her a fist bump.
Just then, the warp pad went off, which caused Lapis, Steven, and Jamie to get up.
The nice Lapis from before warped in and faced the three.
"Uh, so, is this that school you mentioned?" The nice Lapis asked.
The three then smiled at each other.
"Yeah! Welcome." Lapis said.
Minutes earlier
Left alone with Steven, Lapis and Jamie back on earth, the two Lapis Lazulis checked the brounches Steven U niverse gave them with soem strange pictures and laughinf gems on them.
These got nice lapis' atttention, with rude lapis? Not much
"This is stupid" she said throwing the brounch away
"C'mon Lapis, we're leavingh" She said but nice lapis didn't seem to hear her
"Lapis! We're leaving" She repeated preparing her water wings to leave but nice lapis instead decided otherwise
"Actually, I think I wanna go here" She said holding the brounch open and smiling in curiosity
"What?" Mean Lapis was surprised that she even considered that
"No you can't go" Mean one responded and sighes
"This is stupid. Lapis, wer'e Lapis Lazuli's, we're above all this...And little homeschool is for those sad excuses of gems" Mean one said
But Nice Lapis didn't believe that "But it's not, that Lapis Lazli with Steven Universe and even that human, they seem so happy, don't you want that too?"
Rude Lapis didn't get it though "You can't be serious...do you really wanna be with those low class gems?"
Nice Lapis gives it a thought, Lapis wasn't gonna come with her and she would want them to go together. But for all their time together, she didn't wanted to continue colonizing planets anymore. So she turned around determined and headed towards the warp pad.
"Lapis! Get back here!" Rude Lapis yelled
But Nice Lapis warped away nonetheless, leaving here alone.
"Lapis!" RL exclaimed one last time before whispering in sadness "Don't leave me..."
Later that day : Back on little homeschool
Lapis was showing everything around to her new Lapis student
"And here is our classes, you'll be learning things here from time to time from me, Peridot, Jamie and many others. You will also get new friends here" Lapis said
"That's just amazing. Never thought I'd come to any planet to study though. It's funny I never thought of that" nice Lapis adds.
"It was the same for me too at first" Lapis said
In that class though there was a gem already which they soon noticed. It was Volleyball
"Ouh hi there Lapis. Sorry I was thinking on something. I see we have a new student here" Volleyball said
"Yeah. Lapis meet Volleyball, she's crystal gems too, she'll also be your guide here sometimes"
"It will be nice to know you Lapis" Pink Pearl said
Unknown to them though, Volleyball wasn't really fine as from far off through her eyes Riot was watching them along with his rouge gem accomplices
Volleyball was still under his control now. And he sees everything that she sees.
"So she is with them now. A pity" Aquamarine said
"It doesn't matter. I wasn't for nothing…." Riot said as the of them turned to their new member
"They took Lapis from me, I want to make them pay" Mean Lapis exclaimed
"You will get your chance. As will we" Ruby assured her
They will all pay. Universe and his team of crystal gems will be utterly annihilated
