A Week Before Umber Went Missing

BGM: Magical Mystery (Kingdom Hearts II)

"Hmmm…" Yen Sid had his arms folded, deep in thought with his eyes closed. Riku was in front of him. "So you are saying that there is another Keyblade Wielder in our midst."

"Yeah." Riku nodded, rubbing the back of his head. "It's… kind of my fault that my Keyblade slipped out of my grasp during the Phazon War."

"I am not faulting you for that. Anyone could lose a Keyblade as far as the Dustflier is concerned, especially if it's powered up with Phazon and Calasmos' influence." He said. "What I am a bit annoyed over is the fact that now we have a young man who's caught up in our war with the Heartless. Not to mention… Maleficent."

"He seems to be getting better with it though."

"Indeed, yet his Alolan carefree attitude continues to concern me, especially considering there have been Heartless sightings in Alola as of late. Sure, he has been destroying them, but Maleficent has been giving the Heartless a power boost. They now have Aura, which is enough to make a simple Shadow harder to kill."

"Yeah, she's up to something."

"And then there is that particular Heartless that Maleficent had created. Vernal. She has been quite the killer in her Heartless state, happily leaving a trail of blood wherever she goes. While I am grateful that her Nobody, Maia, is nothing like her and is living a happy life with her family, Vernal is a different story. I'm concerned over what might happen should Vernal encounter Umber."

"What do you suggest we do? The Keyblade chose him. He chose this path by accepting that nightmare he's had. Although, now I'm hearing he's been having different dreams lately."

"The only thing we can do is set him on the right path. The last thing we need is for the Pokemon World to be wiped off the map if they manage to find the heart of that world."

"I don't think they're interested in the Keyhole at the moment."

"Perhaps not, but we must remain vigilant. If Umber continues to be a Pokemon Champion along with being a Keyblade Wielder, then he must be set along the right path. There is nothing wrong with living a life of relaxation, considering you and Sora hail from Destiny Islands. However, the Alolan lifestyle seems to be lazier than your world."

"If I recall, Umber was born in the Kanto region, but moved to Alola."

"Even so, his Kantonian lifestyle transformed into an Alolan lifestyle. As I said, there is nothing wrong with living a carefree lifestyle, but with the battles ahead, I cannot help but worry."

Yen Sid stroked his beard. "Riku, if I may be so bold as to ask a favor of you."

"What, you want me to send Umber to another Pokemon region?" He joked.

Yen Sid chuckled. "I would rather not relocate him. It is his lifestyle after all. It is true that we should be relaxed after Xehanort's defeat, yet Maleficent is at large along with the never ending supply of Heartless. Let us not forget about Calasmos and Salem…" He mumbled. "I would like you to have Umber spend some time with his fellow Keyblade Wielders. It may do him some good."

"Right." Riku nodded as he turned around. "I'll see what I can do with him." He said as he walked out.

Yen Sid stood up from his chair and walked toward the window. "Hmm… it is a shame that the Keyblade did not choose anyone else. It would be rather interesting if Ruby Rose wielded the Keyblade…" He closed his eyes. "However, she's had a lot on her plate. I would rather not have her wield such a weapon…"

Meanwhile, with Umber…

BGM: Have a Nice Talk (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story plus Bowser Jr's Journey)

"Let's see here…" Umber looked through a pair of binoculars straight at Peach's Castle. "Look at her, just casually sunbathing on top of the roof with two of her retainers… although I doubt laying under an umbrella would count as sunbathing. Come on, Clownstance, there's no need to be afraid of some sun rays!"

Umber pulled out his notebook. "Subject continues to sunbathe on the roof. She should be easy prey for kidnapping later… I will just have to distract Sappy and Clownsta-... wait, that's not their names… uh… I'll ask them later."

"Planning on kidnapping her?"

"Wah!" Umber yelped, turning his head to see Riku behind him. "Geez, thanks for the heart attack."

Riku chuckled. "I would say I never thought of you as the kidnapping type but then again, you're one of the top commanders in the Koopa Troop."

"Well, Marnie kidnapped her last time, so now it's my turn." Umber chuckled.

"Ah, mixing it up, eh?"

"Sometimes you just gotta kidnap her quietly. Of course, the big guy doesn't think that's much fun as, like, say, throw an army of airships at her and blow things up for the hell of it."

Riku sweatdropped. "How'd Marnie do it again?"

"Oh, how did she describe it?"

A few days ago…

"Hmmhmhmhm~" Peach hummed, pulling the cake out and pulled out the frosting. She pulled out a knife, and then a grappling hook wrapped around her arm. "Huh?" The grappling hook yanked her away. "WHOOOOOA!"

Marnie grabbed her over the shoulder, her metal hand turning back to normal. "There we go. Extraction completed."

"Aww, you could've let me decorate the cake first."

"You have servants for that. It'll be fine."

"Oooh… I suppose so." Peach sighed. "Still, your kidnapping game's improving."

"I told Team Yell I didn't need their assistance last time but did they believe me? Nope! That's the last time I tell Lord Bowser I'm kidnapping you when one of my fangirls are within the room." She mumbled, teleporting on the invisible airship. "Alright, let's go."

"Not so fast, punk girl!" A voice said as she turned to see Balthus cracking his knuckles. "Your kidnapping game may have gotten better, but you're still a novice!"

Marnie put Peach down, summoning her claws. "My combat skills says otherwise!"

Later…

"Balthus?" Kamek asked a bruised Marnie.

"Balthus." Marnie mumbled, having an ice pack on her head. "At least I managed to get away with the princess."

Peach placed a bandage on her cheek despite being in her cell. "There we go~! Good as new!"

Back in the present…

Umber chuckled. "At least she got away that time."

"I wondered why she was a bit bruised when she visited Toad Town… I figured she and Gloria were sparring."

"It's hilarious. Those two are lovers and yet they will not hesitate to clobber each other every time we kidnap Peach. I call it a lover's quarrel."

"...That's one way of putting it."

"Yeah, so… as I said, it's my turn to kidnap the princess. Though I'm curious as to how I'll hold her…"

Riku smirked. "Sometimes, I tend to do this trick on Namine whenever she's having a little too much fun tagging in the Artist District."

"What do you do?"

"Simple." He snapped his fingers as he disappeared into the shadows. "First I tap her on the shoulder-" He did so on Umber.

"Huh?" Umber turned around to see nothing as Riku reemerged from the shadows from behind Umber.

"Then I grab her by the waist-" He did so on Umber. "-Pick her up-" He picked him up. "-Put her over my shoulder-" He put Umber over his shoulder. "And then I walk away."

He walked away, hopping off of the roof that Umber was on.

"Oh, is that how Marnie did it? Cool! I can't wait to try that on my girlfriends to surprise them!" Umber smiled. "...So uh… are you gonna put me down?"

"Who said anything about putting you down?"

"WHAT?! WAIT, ARE YOU KIDNAPPING ME?!"

"Kidnapping" is such a strong word." Riku said as he headed over to his base as a few Toads looked on.

"I'm guessing that's a kidnapping gone wrong on the Koopa Troop's part."

"He's probably a novice."

"I gotta kidnap Peach! Come on, dude!"

"Peach will still be there when you get back to whatever scheme you're trying to pull."

Riku walked into the base, heading straight for the teleporters. "Let me guess, you're taking me to Radiant Garden?"

"Actually, we built a few more teleporters. Ansem's Castle isn't the only place where we can teleport to."

"Oh?" Umber wondered as Riku stepped inside.

End BGM

Riku put Umber down after they arrived at the other side. "There we are." He said as Umber looked around, seeing he was in a computer room.

"...Where the Arceus am I?" He wondered as he looked around, walking through the hallway until he came into a large living room.

"Welcome to the Twilight Town mansion, also known as Namine's home." He said. "It was abandoned and musty at first, but we all pitched in to make it more livable. Even Ansem helped out."

"Soooo, it wasn't always so… homely?"

"Nope. Abandoned, dusty, ruined furniture… all of that has been spruced up."

"All alone in a mansion all by herself. Must be lonely."

"Nah, Roxas lives with her." Riku said as he walked off.

"...Oooooh, they're that far in the relationship, huh?"

"Lea, Isa and Xion also live here too, but they tend to give Roxas and Namine plenty of space when they want some alone time."

"Well, good for those guys." Umber chuckled as he walked out to the front yard and turned around to see the mansion for himself. He let out a low whistle. "Girl, you picked a hell of a home to live in." He said and walked toward the front gate with Riku and into the forest.

"Pretty spacious, isn't it?"

"Yeah… although I have to ask. Why'd you kidnap me?"

"Oh, I figured that since you're a Keyblade Wielder, I figured you'd want to hang with us for a bit. Get to know us and stuff."

"Okay, is this about the Heartless showing up in Alola? Yeah, I know holding a Keyblade is a big responsibility. Believe me, I know what that's like…" He mumbled, thinking about his Champion status in Alola. "Although, truth be told, I find taking out Heartless is very therapeutic. Not sure why."

"Well, everyone needs a good stress reliever." Riku said as they walked through the hole.

BGM: Lazy Afternoons (Kingdom Hearts II)

"Whoa…" Umber said, staring at the town in front of him. "Now this seems like my kind of area." He grinned.

"Had a feeling you'd like it. Come on, everyone's waiting."

"Everyone? Alright then… and uh… where are they at?"

"I told everyone about what we're doing, so Roxas thought the best way to meet up is at the Usual Spot."

"Usual Spot! Awesome! …You know how little that narrows it down? What's the Usual Spot?"

Riku chuckled. "We're not going there, though. Sora thought it would be a bit cramped there so he suggested another spot. Sunset Hill."

"Okay, that sounds better… and way more romantic."

Once at Sunset Hill…

"Hey, look who it is." Sora said as the Wielders, plus Namine, Demyx, Isa, Luxord, Mickey, Donald and Goofy were there as well.

"Oh wow, this spot is pretty awesome!" Umber said. "Hell of a view too." Note to self, bring the girls on a date here later…

"Glad you could make it, Umber!" Mickey smiled.

"Hey, nice to see you again, Michael!"

Pause BGM

"Michael?" Kairi said in surprise.

"...Pffft, that's a good one." Lea chuckled.

Donald looked at Umber in annoyance. "Show some respect! That is King Mickey to you!"

"Oooooh, Mickey! The one with all the theme parks in the universe, plus that one in space that the big guy took over." Umber sheepishly rubbed his head. "Sorry about that."

Mickey smiled. "Huh huh! It's okay!"

Umber turned to Goofy and Donald. "And you two… you're… George and Dominic, right?"

"George? Ah'hyuck! That's a new one! It's Goofy!"

Donald, meanwhile, had an angry tic mark on his forehead. "DOMINIC?!" He yelled as he started making angry duck noises as if he never felt so insulted before.

Resume BGM

Sora laughed. "Oh, that's a good one." He said and then pulled out his Gummi Phone.

"Hey, you two wanna hang out? We're at Twilight Town."

"Oh, of course~!" - Pyra

"What's the occasion? Not that I don't want to hang out with you, I do!" - Mythra

"I have another way that you could possibly annoy Donald."

"On our way!"

Sora chuckled. "Oh, this is gonna be fun."

Umber looked at Demyx. "...Dem… yix, right?"

"Close! It's pronounced Dem-icks. The Y is silent."

"There's a Y in there?" Umber chuckled and looked at Luxord. "...Never seen you before."

"Forgive me, I tend to hang around the casinos in the Mushroom Kingdom, that's why you don't see me as much."

"I've never seen the house lose so many times…" Terra mumbled.

"I am Luxord, the gambler of fate, a pleasure to meet you."

"Cool! Nice to meet ya!"

"Now, you're probably wondering why Riku kidnapped ya." Lea said.

"Something about me being a Keyblade Wielder?"

"According to Riku, Yen Sid thought it would be best if you were to hang with us from time to time." Xion said. "Something about… feeling more comfortable wielding the Keyblade."

"Ah, right… so that's what this is about." Umber said. "I mean, it's true…" He raised his arm up and summoned Viridian Waves. "At first, I was clumsy with it when I saved Ruby from that bitch, but I got better with it. I feel like I can rely on myself more rather than my Pokemon. Over time, I can feel myself getting better. It also helps that I train with Shez to get a feel for a sword-like object."

"She does seem to know a thing or two about swords. Heck, that's a good sparring partner." Sora said.

"I also train with my girls, Iris… sometimes Weiss. I get all the help I need to improve my sword play. Part of me wants to fight Peeko, but I'm a bit hesitant on fighting an Ultimate."

"Peeko? Take out an E." Riku chuckled.

"Ooooh, my bad." Umber rubbed his head sheepishly.

"You sparred with other people with swords, but have you trained against someone with an actual Keyblade?" Aqua asked.

"...Not entirely, no."

"Well, might as well get a feel for it. In time, we can help you improve." Aqua smiled.

"Yeah, we'll whip you up into shape in no time." Terra added.

"Friendly advice, don't spar with Terra. He doesn't know his own strength." Isa said.

"Oh come on, are we still going on about this? I can hold back!"

"Tell that to my broken wrist two weeks ago." Ven said.

"Okay, for the record, you tripped."

"And where did your Keyblade land? It felt like someone threw a boulder at it."

Umber sweatdropped. "Noted."

"It was one time!"

"Let's not forget two months ago when you sparred with Lea and you hit his chest so hard, he couldn't breathe for a few minutes." Namine said.

Terra sweatdropped. "I'm… working on it."

Aqua patted his back. "There there."

"Alright… So am I fighting all of you? Except for Terra?"

"Not all of us. Just one of us to get a feel for it." Sora said. "Unless you want to tire yourself out."

"No no, I'm good." Umber chuckled. "Hmm… who do I want to fight… ah… Aqua."

"Really? Oh! Okay, sure… I'll be happy to." She smiled.

"Alright, let's do this!" Umber got in a battle stance.

"Actually… I can think of a batter arena than this place." Roxas said. "Ever heard of the Sandlot?"

"No?"

Roxas grinned. "Come on."

One trip to the Sandlot later…

"Wow, pretty spacious!" Umber grinned.

"Yeah, this spot right here seems pretty good for a spar." Namine said as Aqua walked over and gracefully turned around, summoning her Keyblade while Umber did the same.

BGM: Working Together (Kingdom Hearts III)

"Alright, so how are we doing this?"

"First one to get knocked to the ground loses." Aqua said.

"Good enough for me!" Umber said, readying himself as Riku got between them, raising his arm in the air.

"Wielders ready!" The two of them got in their stances. "GO!" He swung his arm down as Umber and Aqua both lunged at each other, both of them clashing their Keyblades against each other.

Aqua gracefully jumped back, using Triple Blizzaga at him as he blocked with his Keyblade and shot Plasma Bolts at her. Aqua responded by gracefully twirling around to avoid it and used Magic Hour.

Umber rolled out of the way to avoid the pillars of light, only for Aqua to jump over to his location with Thunder Surge activated, knocking Umber away as he caught himself, aiming at Aqua and using Watera at her.

Aqua rolled out of the way, swiftly slashing at Umber as he blocked every attack as he smirked and then parried her. Got you now! He smirked, ready to slash her down…

…Until Aqua sweep kicked him to knock him on his butt.

"Wah!"

"Winner! Aqua!" Riku declared.

Aqua smiled, reaching her hand for Umber. "You got a lot to learn." She said, winking.

"Yeah, obviously." He chuckled, taking her hand and was helped up.

"Probably should've mentioned that was a horrible idea considering Aqua's a Keyblade Master." Lea said. "Should've gone with Kairi, girl's a green horn!"

"Hey! I'll have you know that I got myself out of trouble in the Phazon War, thank you very much!"

"It's true, she did." Sora nodded.

"Hey! What the hell is going on out here?" A voice asked.

"...Oh no." Roxas groaned.

BGM: Groose's Theme (The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword)

"I don't know who the hell you are, but you're trespassin' on our turf!"

"...And you guys are?" Umber asked.

"We're the Twilight Town Disciplinary Committee. I'm Seifer."

"Raijinn, ya know!"

"Fuujin…"

"H-hi… I'm Vivi."

"And you're obviously a trespasser. We haven't seen you before so get lost."

"Would it kill you to be nice for once?" Roxas deadpanned.

"There there." Namine patted him on the back.

"Oho! You guys are the Disciplinary Committee?" Umber put his hand on his hip with an amused smirk. "Really, you look more like the loser committee if you ask me."

"Loser committee?" Seifer raised an eyebrow. "Pfft, look at you, acting all tough." He said as he walked over to Umber, meeting him at eye level. "I don't know about you, but I don't like that smile on your face. You would do well as to not cross us."

"Of course I'm smiling. I'm just laughing at your pathetic attempt to be cool. Besides, you don't look even relevant enough to even be cool at all."

Seifer smirked. "Still trying to be tough, eh? You got some nerve disrespecting us like that. I'm going to give you one last chance to beat it."

"Or else what?"

Seifer took a step back, grabbing a Struggle Bat. "Otherwise, I'm going to beat you up with this Struggle bat and make you cry!"

"...He's joking, right?" Demyx asked.

"Gosh, I feel so bad for what's about to happen." Mickey said.

Seifer then picked up another one and tossed it to Umber. "Here, at least make it worth my while. That right there is a Struggle Bat. Last chance."

"I'm struggling to contain my laughter over how much of a try hard you are." Umber said, aiming it at him.

"...Alright. You asked for it then." Seifer lunged at him as Umber readied himself… before he stood up straight and smiled as Seifer swung the Struggle Bat, immediately shattering Umber. "Huh?!"

"Seifer! I think you killed him, ya know?"

"...I didn't mean to kill him. I thought I'd-"

"Behind you!" Fuu called out as Seifer turned around, only to get a Struggle Bat to the face as he swung him up into the air, jumped up and juggled him repeatedly before swinging the bat down to make him slam into the ground.

"What the hell was that! You could've killed him, ya know!"

Umber turned to Rai, aiming his Struggle Bat at him. "You want a turn?"

Rai sweatdropped, pulling his hands up. "On second thought… I don't feel so good, ya know!" He said, picking up the groaning Seifer and running off.

"...Nice talking with you." Fuu said and ran off as Vivi waved at Umber and ran off.

"Thought so." Umber tossed it behind him.

"Oh there you guys are." A voice said as they saw Mythra approaching them. "I was looking all over for ya."

"Hey!" Sora waved. "...Where's Pyra?"

"Wait, wasn't she…?" Mythra turned her head. "Aaaagh! Don't tell me she got lost…"

"We'll find her. She couldn't have gone that far." Kairi said as they took off running toward the Tram Common, but as they did, Umber spotted a diner nearby.

"The Bistro? I gotta check this out!" He said as he walked off.

With Pyra…

BGM: Lazy Afternoons

"Um…" Pyra found herself surrounded by men gawking at her. Even a few women were staring at her.

"She's so pretty!"

"Look at those air bags!"

"They're so bouncy and round… I wanna squeeze them just to make sure they're real!"

"They can't even be real. Those are clearly fake!"

"She's wearing pads, obviously."

"No. She definitely had cosmetic surgery to make them look big."

"Ugh, what a slut."

"Will you marry me!"

Pyra sweatdropped. "Even the guys at the Smash Mansion aren't this bad…"

One perverted guy in particular reached in to try to cop a feel, but Pyra shot him a glare and proceeded to smack him away with her sword.

"Alright, knock it off!" Mythra got between them as the Wielders and Co also joined in.

"Aw come on, guys! We were just having some fun with her!"

Isa said nothing. Instead, he gave them a glare which was enough to terrify them. "Beat it." He said as the crowd dispersed immediately after.

"I could've handled that just fine." Pyra said.

"Yeah, but Isa's death glare is more hilarious." Mythra chuckled.

"I suppose…" Pyra said.

"So!" Mythra turned to Donald. "What's this I hear about your name being changed to Dominic~?"

"WHAT! My name wasn't changed to Dominic! Who told you tha-" He heard innocent whistling coming from Sora, which was enough for his head to burn a bright red. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAK!" He yelled angrily, which was enough to get them all laughing.

"Oh, I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this. Who came up with the name anyway?" Mythra asked.

"Umber did." Lea said.

"Umber? …I don't see him." Pyra said.

"...Crap, where did he go?" Lea asked.

"I'm sure he didn't go far." Ven responded as they walked around the town.

Five minutes later…

Umber walked out of the Bistro with Remy on his head. "I have to say, when they say "anyone can cook", they weren't kiddin'." He said as Remy simply smiled.

"Hey, there you are!" Sora ran over to him as they were joined by the others.

"...Ugh, him." Mythra glared at Remy, who simply folded his arms and gave Mythra a smug smirk. "Let me guess, he made your life hell?"

"Actually, we had a lot of fun making a lot of stuff." Umber smiled. "Once you get to know him, he's not bad." He said, offering a fist bump to him.

"He's a nightmare! He controls your entire body! He's a puppet master!"

"Tell me, has anyone gotten sick from your cooking lately?" Umber asked.

"N-no… no one's thrown up for a while now. Even Min Min can stand my cooki- THAT'S NOT THE POINT!" Mythra yelled. "This little rat is a slave driver, that's what he is!"

"Easy…" Pyra put her shoulder on Mythra, who simply folded her arms with a "Hmph".

"Heh… wait until Cinder hears about this." Umber chuckled.

"Oh! By the way, Umber. I really gotta thank you. It's gonna be a lot more fun hanging out with Sora, Dominic and Goofy." Mythra grinned.

"Awww phooey!" Donald grumbled.

"You're welcome!" Umber smiled as Remy hopped off and ran back to the Bistro, but not before turning his head and shooting Mythra another smug look before running back in.

"Yeah, you better run, you evil smug bastard! I'll cook you up when you least expect it!" Mythra growled. "Hate that rat…"

"Aaanyway, changing topics…" Namine said. "Have you ever summoned anyone before?"

"Uh… where are you getting at this?" Umber asked.

"We'll show ya." Namine responded.

Back in the woods…

"Alright, so Sora has these summons known as Heartbinders." Namine explained. "Basically, he can summon a friend of his for a while to lend him their strength. He's also had like Summon Gems and Summon Charms."

"Ah, that makes sense." Umber nodded.

"I still have a few Summon Gems though, like Genie. Really should introduce you to him sometime." Sora said.

"Which is why, when I heard you got a Keyblade, I went out of my way to make a few Heartbinders for you." Namine smiled. "If you want them, that is…"

"Oh, sure!" Umber nodded.

"Wait, you did what?" Sora asked as Umber received three of them.

"That's all I made so far." Namine said. "If you need more, I can whip something else up for you."

"Uh… Namine… who did you get?" Sora asked.

"Oh, nobody too important."

"Hmm, this one is a four in one… I'll try that out last." Umber picked up the first one. "Let's try… this!" He raised his hand up in the air as it glowed brightly.

Immediately, a well appeared in front of them with green liquid inside of it. Pumpkins decorated the well as ghosts formed around the well, which was enough to make Umber shiver as a skeleton rose out of the well.

BGM: This Is Halloween (Kingdom Hearts II)

"Hahahahahaha! Fear the pumpkin king!" He exclaimed.

Sora jawdropped. "Nobody important?! That's Jack Skellington!"

"So?" Namine shrugged as Jack walked out of the well.

"I do love making a grand entrance!" He said as he turned to Sora. "Sora!" He said happily as he grabbed his hand. "Oh man, it's been far too long! …I have to say, is this what you normally look like?"

"Um… yeah?"

"Splendid!" Jack smiled and turned to Kairi. "Oh! And you must be Kairi! Sora spoke highly of you back in my town! He wouldn't stop thinking about you!"

Kairi turned to Sora. "Oh, is that right~?" She asked with a wink, causing Sora to blush.

"Ahem, um… well…"

Jack turned to the Blades. "Oh, and who might these two be?"

"Pyra!"

"Mythra!"

"We're his surrogate sisters." Pyra smiled.

"Damn right, we are!"

"Well! Sora, you got some pretty nifty sisters there! I definitely approve!"

"Um, hi, uh… Mister Jack Skellington? I'm the one who summoned you, Umber Lightwave."

"Ah! So you're the one who summoned me!" Jack smiled as he shook his hand. "The pleasure is all mine! Now, do you need some decorating? Need me to scare someone? I can do anything you desire, just say the word!" He looked around. "Goodness, these trees need some decorating! Where are the creepy faces? The ghosts that come out of the mouths? Where's the spooky aesthetic!"

Umber laughed. "That won't be necessary, but thanks for the offer though."

"Very well. I will humbly assist you in your hour of need, my boy." He said as he disappeared along with the well.

"That… was definitely spooky." Umber said. "Heh, well, now I know who to call when Halloween rolls around." He smiled as he looked at the next one. "And let's see who this is." He said, calling up the next Heartbinder.

An orange portal opened up, catching their attention.

BGM: Doctor Strange Main Theme (Doctor Strange)

A man walked out of the portal, donning an outfit that screamed "Master of the Mystic Arts", donning a red cape. There were silver streaks on both sides of his hair and sported a goatee.

"...Dr. Lightwave?" Umber asked.

"Who? Never heard of him. I am Doctor Steven Strange, master of the Mystic Arts and Sorcerer Supreme."

"...Sorcerer Supre-... NOBODY IMPORTANT?" Sora looked at Namine with dismay.

"What?"

"...Okay, well, technically, I'm not considering I was dead for five years and Wong took over." He mumbled.

"How were you dead for five years?" Terra asked.

"Aw crap, he's a zombie!" Demyx hid behind Luxord.

"You can thank Thanos for that. You never heard of him?"

"Noooo, I don't think so." Sora said.

"Good. Let's leave it at that."

Strange looked around. "I am not familiar with this world. Where am I?"

"You're in Twilight Town." Riku said. "Umber here summoned you."

"...So you mean to tell me this kid right here summoned me? I'm at the beck and call of this kid?"

"Pretty much." Umber said.

Strange pinched the bridge of his nose. "Great. First I deal with Wanda being completely insane and now I gotta deal with a kid summoning me anytime he feels like it. Wonderful."

"You say that like it's a bad thing."

"Considering what I've been through? I'm used to it." Strange mumbled. "Anyway, if you need me, kid… I'll be around." He said as he opened up a portal and walked in, closing it behind him as the Heartbinder deactivated.

"Nice guy." Pyra said.

"Seems a little too prideful if you ask me." Mythra said with a shrug.

Riku's Gummi Phone went off, seeing it was Yen Sid. "Oh, hold that thought." He said as he walked off as Umber raised his last Heartbinder. "Hello?"

"Riku, how is it going with Umber?"

"Oh, it's going pretty well. He seems to bounce off on us pretty well. We had a sparring match where Aqua defeated him pretty easily."

"I see. It will take time for him to improve, but I'm glad he's taking the time to spend time with you. What is he doing now?"

Riku turned his head. "Namine gave him heartbinders. He already showed off Jack Skellington and someone named Dr. Strange, and now he's… huh… that's a lot of green. Too much green if you ask me."

"I can imagine he's having fun."

"Yeah, he is. Are you suggesting he spend time with us often?"

"It will take him a while to get used to the Keyblade, but yes. It may give him ideas on how he can use his own style."

"Yeah, sounds good." Riku nodded as he turned around. "It would definitely do him some good, maybe."

"Indeed. With practice, he'll become a strong Keyblade Wielder. If the Keyblade chose him, then so be it."

"More like… I think he chose the Keyblade. He ran away from his nightmare, but now he isn't anymore."

"That is what I like to hear. Perhaps some day, he might try the Mark of Mastery."

"...Isn't it a bit too soon for that?"

"Perhaps, but someday, he'll have to take it."

"Right. See ya later."

"Farewell." Yen Sid hung up as Riku put his Gummi Phone away right as Umber dismissed the summon.

"Oh yeah, I'm gonna have a lot of fun with this!" Umber grinned, putting them away. "Can't wait to show my girlfriends!"

"Alright, now for the icing on the cake for a celebratory summoning!" Lea smirked. "Let's go!"

At the top of the station…

BGM: Icetime (Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days)

"Wah!" Umber yelped as he was sitting on top of the edge of the clock tower. "Are you crazy?!"

"Crazy's in our blood. This is perfectly fine." Lea said.

"Uh… yeah… but uh… what if we fall?" He asked, causing Roxas and Xion to sweatdrop.

"Nonsense, we won't fall!" Lea grinned. "Besides, me, Roxas and Xion also head over to Delfino and sit on top of that Shine Gate with Luigi, Marnie and Neo! Sometimes Isa hangs out with us too."

Umber sweatdropped. "Why do I feel like that's worse?"

"Ah, don't worry about it. It's a pretty great view!" Sora said as they stared off at the sunset while eating sea salt ice cream.

"Mmm, pretty sweet view indeed." Mythra said.

"Yeah!" Pyra giggled.

"I have to say… aside from dangling our feet to imminent death, I pretty much enjoyed my time here with ya. Heck, I wouldn't mind hanging out with y'all some more from now on."

Sora grinned. "Yeah, we're pretty fun to be around. Don't mean to brag, buuuut…" He chuckled.

"Yeah, sometimes Hayner, Pence and Olette joins us too." Roxas said. "Too bad they couldn't come, I'm sure they would've liked you."

"Considering you kicked that boy's ass, I'm sure Hayner would've loved ya." Lea said.

"He probably would have." Umber chuckled, finishing his ice cream as everyone else looked off into the sunset. "...Does that sun ever move?"

"Nah, it's always in perpetual twilight." Xion said.

"I'm not sure how you're gonna be able to fall asleep to that but… alright then." Umber chuckled as he soon stood up. "Alright, I'm heading out. Later!"

"See ya!" Namine waved as Umber walked away.

"Oh, by the way, Namine. Thanks for the summons!" He said.

"You're welcome!" Namine giggled.

Later, at Bowser's Castle…

"You look like you had a fun time." Cinder said as she walked out of the kitchen.

"Yeah, had a blast with my fellow Keyblade wielders." Umber said. "Oh, by the way, I found this Bistro at Twilight Town. It's pretty great."

"I can imagine you had a fun time."

"Yeah, especially when I had a rat helping me out."

"That's ni-... what?"

"Yeah, he took control of my body by pulling the strands of my hair. It was actually pretty fun! We cooked a heck of a meal together."

Cinder blinked. "You had… a rat… on your head… and it controlled your body?"

"Yes."

"...Now I've heard everything." She said as she walked away, looking perplexed.

Umber chuckled and had an idea. Hey babes, you wanna come meet me at Solana Town? I have a few surprises I wanna show ya!

On our way!

Umber smiled and walked over to Solana Town. "Why do I feel like I'm forgetting something…? Eh, I'm sure it's nothing." He said as he walked out the front doors.

As soon as he walked out the front gate… his eyes widened.

"OH CRAP! I FORGOT TO KIDNAP PEACH!" He yelled, putting his hands over his cheeks in horror. "...Eh, I'll do it tomorrow."

Ibuki: *cackles* Oh Umber-chan, this is why we love ya!
