Star shaped portals are popping in everywhere and are sucking everything in! Witnesses say they thought these star shaped portals only targeted Grimm. However, things slowly started to take a turn when it started to suck in people and Faunus alike-"

"Extra extra, read all about it! Bokoblins, Moblins, Hinoxes, Lizalfos, Lynels, and Keese are mysteriously disappearing off of the face of Hyrule! No one knows what is going on! To make matters worse, the Rito champion, Revali and the Zora champion, Mipha has also mysteriously disappeared-"

"Several reports have shown that Chocobos and Moogles have disappeared near Midgar. No one knows for sure what has happened to the population, but some witnesses say they've seen some star shaped portals appearing out of nowhere-"

"Residents of Toad Town are disappearing left and right! No one knows what is going on, but Princess Peach has declared a state of emergency over this chaos. Meanwhile, the Koopa Troop are also disappearing and so are the residents of Sarasaland-"

"We can't say for sure what is going on, but Unovans are suggesting that a Star Portal might have sucked in public enemy number one: Ghetsis. Some are suggesting that Ghetsis is the one behind this mess but no evidence has been found. To make matters worse, in the Sinnoh Region, several Pokemon have disappeared from Stark Mountain, including the legendary Pokemon Heatran. Not only that, but Sinnoh Champion Cynthia, the Hoenn champion Steven Stone, Alolan champion Umber Lightwave, Galarian champion Gloria, Spikemuth's Gym Leader Marnie, and Galarian Pokemon Breeder Victor have also disappeared-"

"We are getting reports that residents in Mobius have mysteriously disappeared. Sonic the Hedgehog confronted Dr. Ivo Robotnik over this but he has denied that he's responsible for this cause, considering that some of his Badniks have disappeared-"

"-Several Centurions have been disappearing daily as Palutena's numbers dwindle. Not only that, but the monsters of the Underworld have also been disappearing. According to Hades, he believes that this is an act of desperation from an outside force. When pressed further, he simply said "I do not wish to say anything further". "I don't understand it!" Bowser growled as he paced around the meeting room. "What the hell is going on here! Our Koopa Troop is dwindling faster than Mario can gulp down spaghetti! …I didn't think it was possible."

"Some of my Magikoopas have disappeared…" Kamek mused.

"Mostly all of my Shy Guys are gone too." General Guy said.

"I've noticed that Crocomire disappeared just yesterday." Shez spoke up.

"We're not sure what the cause of this is." Kotake said.

"Probably Merasmus." Koume mentioned.

"I'm right here!"

"Apparently, the Forces of Nature have taken a hit too." Dark Pit mentioned. "The Sirens that are there are okay… for now."

"I've checked in with the family, they're all accounted for." Bowser said before folding his arms. "It still feels weird to call Cinder, of all people, family… but it is what it is."

"Your Nastiness!" A Koopatrol came running in. "All the Chain Chomps are gone!"

Bowser growled. "When I find the one who's responsible for this mess, I'm gonna throttle them!"

"By the way, where are Roman, Neo and Piers anyway?" Kamek asked.

"Looking for Marnie. I think they're at Toad Town." Shez responded.

"Hmm… I'll be right back." Bowser walked off. "I need answers from someone I know."

Meanwhile, at Toad Town…

"What the hell did you do to my little sister!" Piers yelled.

"YOUR sister? Ha! In case if you don't know, we're trying to figure out where the hell Umber is, ya dope!" Guzma yelled back, the two of them literally butting heads in the artist district.

"Should we tell them that some of the Inkling and Octolings have disappeared?" Namine asked, overhearing the conversation.

"Eh… I'd say let 'em be." Demyx shrugged it off.

"You probably did something to her! And not only that, half of Team Yell has disappeared too!"

"Well, that's probably an improvement then, given how Team Yell sucks!"

"Like Team Skull is doing better, I've heard half of you guys have disappeared too!"

"We have more than you do, that's for sure!"

"Will you two knock it off!" Lillie got between them, separating the duo. "We can settle this later. Umber's gone. Marnie's gone. There's no point in arguing considering both have disappeared."

["Party pooper. I was enjoying the two attempting to throttle each other."] Neo pouted.

Roman chuckled. "Perhaps you can share your messages of the last time you texted Umber and Marnie."

"Ho! That's a great idea… but the problem with that is…" Guzma pulled out his Rotom Phone. "I can't get a hold of him!"

"Corrupted Interdimensional Error: Failed to send to recipient due to unknown recipient."

"You too?" Hau asked in disbelief.

"Just like mine…" Lillie mumbled.

"That… is somewhat similar to mine." Piers said, pulling out his.

"Fatal Error: Cannot Reach Recipient due to differing time periods."

"Yeah, that checks out. We've been getting that too." Roman said with Neo giving them a worried nod.

"Differing time period? What the hell does that mean?" Guzma wondered.

"What the hell is a corrupted interdimensional error?" Piers asked.

"How should I know!"

"Okay, we gotta think for a moment!" Lillie spoke up. "When was the last time we all spoke to Umber and Marnie?"

"He said to us he's gonna be hanging out with that Dedede fella in Popstar." Guzma said.

"Marnie mentioned she was heading over to Ruby's house, so I assumed she was gonna kidnap her to go Mantine Surfing." Piers explained.

["She said she, Gloria and Victor were heading over there because Ruby called them up for something."] Neo explained.

"...So this is Ruby's fault then." Piers said.

"Now now, as much of a pain as little red can be, I doubt she's behind this mess." Roman said with Neo nodding.

Piers sighed. "Ugh… well, whoever's behind this mess… someone's gotta pay!" He mumbled as they noticed Bowser flying by on his Koopa Clown Car. "...Now what's he up to?"

Meanwhile, at the Future Foundation…

"This whole thing is just a mess!" Yasuhiro scratched his head. "Portals everywhere, everyone's disappearing… it's insane!"

"Indeed." Byakuya nodded. "You would think Palkia would do better at getting rid of these portals."

"He's trying!" Aoi said. "Unfortunately, he closes up a few and fifteen more pop up. It's running himself ragged. And unfortunately, there's nothing he can do until Kirby and his friends try to take down whoever's responsible for this mess!"

There was a knock on the door. "Now who could that be?" Yasuhiro wondered… when Bowser slammed open the doors.

"Kyoko. Where is she!"

"In her office." Aoi casually said, eating a doughnut as Bowser walked through, giving Aoi a "sup" nod as Aoi returned the favor with a friendly smile.

"Will you get lost!" Byakuya said, intercepting Bowser. "The last thing we need is you causing trouble here when we have a portal crisis going on. We do not need you kidnapping-"

"Oh, come off it, four eyes." Bowser said, shoving him to the side.

Unfortunately for Byakuya… Bowser shoved him into Toko's lap.

"O-oh! Oh my! This is all so sudden!" Toko blushed a deep red before smiling. "H-hey there, g-gorgeous!"

"Don't get any funny ideas, you depraved lunatic." Byakuya got off of her, causing her to sulk. "Sakura!"

"I have no business with him." Sakura said, lifting weights. "He means no harm."

Byakuya sighed irritably. "Useless…" He mumbled.

"Relax, he's fine." Aoi reassured.

With Kyoko…

"Hmmm…" Kyoko looked through her computer, writing something down. "How about… Ultimate Mechanic."

"Interesting…" Kyoko mused as she wrote it down. "I'll have to ask Pietro about this later." She said and clicked on the semblance for more information.

Quickly craft anything mechanical within seconds. Able to pinpoint weakened areas and easily fix them.

"Definitely sounds like a very efficient mechanic."

The door slammed opened. "Hey!"

"Oh hello, big guy." Kyoko greeted, not bothering to look up from her computer. "What can I do for you?"

"My whole army has disappeared!"

"Oh, I'm sure they're fine."

"As in… star portals."

Kyoko blinked, looking up from her computer. "Them too?"

"Yeah! And I came to bug ya because you seem to know everythi- what are you writing down?"

"Apparently there are Remnant born Ultimates, so I'm looking to see how many there are."

"What, so you can whisk them away and have them form an alliance with the Future Foundation?"

"Admittedly, I haven't figured that part out yet, but that does sound like a good idea." Kyoko admitted. "So, thank you, big guy." She smiled.

Bowser rolled his eyes. "Whatever… so can you tell me what happened to my Koopa Troop?"

"Well… based on what I could uncover with these star portals that are popping up everywhere…" Kyoko opened up an article and showed him it.

"Mysterious Star Portal apocalypse! Could this be the next "End Times" event?"

"Based on what I've read and videos I'm seen-" Kyoko opened up a Lakitube video showing off portals opening up and sucking in nearby vehicles, people, Pokemon, Heartless and Grimm. "The one conclusion I can draw from all this is that your troops were spirited away by a being with strong magic. There's no physical evidence of any struggle that kidnapping victims would usually exhibit, or any signs of forced entry."

"So whoever's doing this-"

"Probably is responsible for what happened in Dreamland." Kyoko said. "Apparently, Umber went off to hang out with Dedede and they both disappeared. Three days later, JINXY, Mewtwo, the Mercs, the Phantom Thieves, a few fellow Ultimates and Kirby wound up disappearing as well. Same with the Star Allies, Penny and SAPR."

"Great, now everyone's disappearing!" Bowser pinched the bridge of his nose before snarling. "That tears it." He walked off.

"And where are you headed off to?"

"The next time I see a Star Portal, I'm going in there." He turned to Kyoko. "And I'm going to give that asshole a piece of my mind!" He said and walked off.

Kyoko chuckled. "Give 'em a good pummeling for me too."

She looked back at her computer. "Let's see… how about… Ultimate Musician…"

"Are you sure this is a good idea, Peach?" Mario asked.

"Well… I'm not exactly sure if this is a good idea…" Peach sighed. "Honestly, none of us know where these Star Portals are coming from, most of my servants aside from the Wolves are gone, the Espinas we have in the gardens is gone… uuuugh! I don't know what to do, Mario!"

Peach sat on her throne, her hands over her head in frustration. "With… the Red Sky, we all knew what to do. We took down Dark Ruby for good but now this… this is a whole different situation."

A ring portal opened up as they looked to see Luigi and Daisy walking in. "Ah, there you are." Daisy said as Hoopa closed the portal behind him. "You feeling okay?"

"No! Most of the servants are gone, half of my people are gone from these stupid portals…"

"Yeah, it's… not looking great in Sarasaland either. The other royalty are having a conniption over this." Daisy mentioned.

"Might I interest you in some tea in these troubling times, princess?" Toadsworth asked. "I could ask the same for all of you."

"Ah, good… you're all still here." A voice said as Yuri approached along with the rest of the wolves.

"We just lost all the Chain Chomps in the gardens." Hapi said.

"All the Cheep Cheeps in the ponds are gone too." Constance sighed. "And the moats? Forget about it!" She shook her head. "I always loved their cute faces… I miss 'em already."

"I heard a report that the Yoshi population had taken a hit too." Balthus said.

Peach groaned. "What could this all mean! This has to mean… something!"

"Whatever it is… we're just gonna have to be ready." Mario said with everyone nodding.

"I sure hope so…" Peach sighed.

Meanwhile, in Atlas…

A small spider-like robot made its way around the Atlas military base.

"Heheheh…" Eggman smirked, casually sitting in his lair. "I don't even have to hide this machine since most of the Atlas military are gone from this star portal catastrophe." He said as he looked through the base, crawling through one doorway and finding the prison cells.

"Hmm?" Eggman took a look, finding Captain Syrup laying on top of a bed. "Why, that looks to be Captain Syrup! Wonder what she's doing here?" He wondered before chuckling. "Oh well, that doesn't seem to be my problem." He said as the spider turned around and crawled away.

As he kept going, he found a door that piqued his interest as he crawled through and kept going until he found an elevator. He pressed a button as it went down.

The elevator stopped as the spider crawled over toward a door. "Now what's all this?" Eggman wondered as he took a look, examining the door in particular.

"What's behind this door…" Eggman wondered as he pressed a button as the spider fired off a light that made him see what was behind it. He saw a whole new world inside, and he also spotted a staff.

"Interesting… a staff hidden deep within Atlas? Why, if I'm not mistaken, this seems to be the Relic of Creation!"

Eggman rubbed his chin. "I wonder… doesn't this door require a Maiden to open it up? I wonder if I can find the maiden who lives here."

The spider turned around and scurried away, only for a star portal to open up and swallowed the badnick. "Ack! Stupid star portal!" He said as the star portal closed. "Hmmm! Interesting town…" He said as he looked around until he saw Kirby wandering out with the Robobot armor. "Hmm? Why Kirby, you're looking beefier than usual!" He said as Kirby noticed the Badnick.

"Poyo?" Kirby hopped out of the Robobot and picked the Badnick up. He tilted his body… before he ate it up.

Connection lost

Eggman smirked. "That was just a prototype anyway. I've gotten all the information I needed." He chuckled to himself. "Now then, where should I find this maiden?"

Meanwhile, at the Smash Mansion…

Ridley dusted Samus's drawers, letting out a grumble. "Should've won the Phazon War, then I'd be making Samus dust my own room…" He said to himself when suddenly, he felt a twinge of pain in his head.

"Rrrgh! This headache feels familiar." He snarled. "Calasmos! I've told you once that I'm not interested in your goals, you expired blueberry!"

"...Who is this Calasmos you speak of?"

"Mmph! You're different."

"Indeed, I am. In fact… you're perfect!"

"Graaaaaaaaaaagh!" Ridley growled as he clutched his head… before his eyes turned red as a star portal opened up behind him. He walked into the Star Portal as it closed behind him.

Meanwhile, in Galar…

"Residents of Unova have been on edge since Ghetsis has broken out of prison. No one knows where he is. Residents of Opelucid City are not sleeping well ever since Team Plasma froze their city, and they fear this may happen again with Ghetsis still at large. All the other regions are holding their breath in hopes that Ghetsis will not attack them. On top of that, no one knows what is causing these star portals to make Pokemon around the world to disappear.

Hop looked down at his Rotom Phone, looking at the last text he and Gloria had shared.

Hop looked back up, seeing Ghetsis's mugshot on the TV before looking back down at his Rotom Phone. He then looked back up to stare at the mugshot.

An uneasy feeling came over Hop. He felt a knot grow in his stomach as he couldn't help but grimace.

"What did you do to her…"
