"In other news, people are recuperating and rebuilding during that shocking Rift in the Sky incident. Witnesses say that they saw a pink truck driving through town with a green mouse, a black hedgehog and an ordinary boy. Some say the pink truck was the cause of the apocalypse-"

"Hmhmhmhm~" Zoey hummed as she swept up some dust while listening to the news, letting out a few chuckles.

"-But whatever the case may be, the Rift in the Sky has disappeared with several unanswered questions. What could have been the cause of it? Why were we being pulled toward a giant star? And what happened to the pink truck? These questions continue to boggle everyone's minds but the general consensus indicates that the pink truck is considered a horseman of the apocalypse. Back to you, Cyril."

"Wow, definitely grasping for straws there." Anthony said. "I don't know why, but I have a feeling the "pink truck" was trying to stop the latest apocalypse."

"At this point, with how many apocalypses we've had, they don't even phase me anymore." Jen said. "They start, they end five minutes later, another one shows up a month later or so… at this point, an apocalypse is just another Tuesday."

"Yeah, that Red Sky incident? Totally ruined my sunbathing." Mona mumbled. "Luckily I made several Grimm my punching bags to let off some steam."

"Huh… that's odd…" Camrin said, looking through his scroll.

"What's up?" Chloe asked.

Camrin showed her his scroll. "Who the bloody hell is Deadpool?"

"Deadpool becomes the latest fighter in the Smash Bros Ultimate Tournament! He even brings a goose with him!"

"Eh, by the looks of him… he looks to be a mercenary." Chloe said, taking a look as Mona took a look as well.

"Nah, I'd say he's a hockey player." Mona said. "His team name? Uh… The Red Mercenaries."

"I can buy that." Anthony chuckled.

"So, what do you guys wanna do?" Camrin asked. "So far in our shiny hunting for my girl, we already have the Strikers Tournament trophy, we got a few crystals-"

"A platinum trophy from that table tennis match." Jen mentioned.

Earlier…

"HIYAH!" Mona swung her paddle into the ball hard enough to make it fly toward her opponent. He smirked and swung his paddle… only for the ball to break said paddle and sent it flying toward a wall.

"HUH?!"

"Winner, by default! Mona Viole-" The judge spotted Mona taking the trophy and making a run for it. "-tta… guess we're not doing camera shoots."

In the present…

"What can I say… I'm a table tennis queen!" Mona said proudly.

"We could go into another world to see what kind of treasure we can find there. We've already been to Galar, and at one point, Popstar." Anthony said. And K2L, but the only treasure we found was destroying the Space Pirates.

"Yeah, we can drop by the Smash Mansion and see where we can go." Camrin turned to his girlfriend. "What say you?"

"Otherworldy treasure, let's rock~!" Mona grinned.

"Zoey, you want to tag along?" Chloe asked.

"Hmm… sure, I won't mind." Zoey smiled.

One trip to the Smash Mansion later…

"Alrighty, let's see… any of these portals speak to you?" Camrin asked.

"Hmm…" Mona looked directly at the Triforce. She immediately pictured the Triforce in shiny crystals. Her eyes sparkled. "Shiiiiiny~" She was drawn over to the Triforce.

"How about Midgar? I'm sure we can find something there." Jen said.

"We could, but I'm leaning toward…" Anthony looked over to Popstar. "We could go back to the Great Cave Offensive, maybe find some treasures we potentially missed?"

"I'm pretty sure we cleaned that place out." Jen pointed out.

"Good point." He nodded as Camrin walked out of a portal. "Find anything?"

"Aside from a statue with "In loving memory of T'Challa - Wakanda Forever", no." Camrin shook his head.

"Hmm… I wonder if we could find something in Mobius…" Chloe mused.

Camrin turned his head. "Hey Mona, what abou-"

"Shiiiiiiny~" Mona went inside the Triforce portal as everyone looked at each other and went inside.

BGM: Field - Day (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)

"So, what prompted you to walk into Hyrule like that?" Camrin asked.

"Simple. I pictured the three triangles as shiny crystals."

"Yeah, that sounds about right." He laughed.

"Alright, I guess we'll be finding treasure here in Hyrule then." Anthony said as they walked to town.

BGM: Hyrule Castle Town (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)

"Maybe we can ask directions of where to find a cave filled with goodies." Chloe said.

"One way to find out." Anthony said as he turned his head, spotting a poster on the community billboard. "Hmm?" He walked over to it, catching the other's attention.

"The Annual Hylian Tournament Is About to Begin! Join us as several combatants fight to see who will reign supreme in this year's tournament at Hyrule Castle!"

The grand prize was a platinum colored trophy that was none other than the Triforce itself.

Mona's eyes turned into hearts. "Oh baby! The shiny color of that trophy is incredible~!"

"Huh, apparently runner ups get a set amount of rupees." Anthony said. "Second place gets five hundred."

"Hyrule Castle, eh? Well, this ought to be interesting." Camrin said.

"I have a pretty good feeling Mistress Mona would want to participa-" Zoey noticed a blinking white outline of Mona as they saw her already running to the castle. "-That answers that."

"Alrighty then, let's go." Jen said as they walked after her.

Once they approached the castle, they would see the combatants in question. Link, Toon Link, Young Link, Twilight Link, Midna, LttP Zelda, Sheik, Impa, Urbosa, Daruk, several Hylian soldiers, a few Zora and Gerudo were all joining them.

"They all look like they have swords or something else up their sleeve. Based on this, I would advise Mistress Mona to have some protection."

"But how are we going to get protection at a short notice?" Chloe asked as they saw a Hylian guard walk by them with a casual whistle.

As he rounded the corner, Mona yanked him away, covering his mouth in the process. "MMPH?!" He yelped before they heard a loud smack… and then Mona rounded the corner wearing his armor.

"I got it covered~"

"...I'll put that guy in a closet juuuust in case." Anthony said as he walked off.

"Wish me luck~!" Mona hopped into the courtyard.

"Greetings one and all to the annual Hylian Tournament!" Rhoam declared. "As you have probably guessed, my daughter will not be participating in this tournament, due to her being away on official business. However, just because my Zelda isn't here doesn't mean we have another Zelda in our presence, two of them in fact. Now then-"

At that moment, a portal opened up as everyone turned to see Lana walking out. "Excuse me!" She spoke up. "I was thinking these two would be wonderful in this tournament!" She said as two women stepped out.

Warriors Zelda and Warriors Impa to be exact.

"...Is that me from another period?" Impa wondered, staring at her counterpart. "Dang…"

"Ah, the Warriors timeline… I suppose that will do." Rhoam nodded.

"Look at the size of that sword…" Chloe said, looking at Warriors Impa's sword.

Mona jawdropped before smirking. "Oooooh, I'm gonna have fun with that~"

"I'll be cheering you two on!" Lana said, proceeding to head over to the sidelines.

"Now then, let the matches commence!"

"I wonder where Mipha and Revali are. They're gonna miss out on the fun." Daruk said.

"I'm sure they have their reasoning." Urbosa chuckled.

Mona watched on from the sidelines, watching the combatants compete against one another. Urbosa claiming victory against a fellow Gerudo, Warriors Zelda taking down LttP Zelda, Warriors Impa barely defeating Daruk, Midna having her way with Toon Link, Twilight Link managing to catch Wild Link off guard… all of this was enough to excite her.

"Next up, Sheik vs Mona!"

"Here we go." Mona said, pumping herself up as she met up with Sheik in the middle of the courtyard.

"You seem… familiar." Sheik said.

"I don't even know who you are… though I feel like I've seen you somewhere before."

Sheik got in her stance. "Enough talk then… you ready?"

"Oh, I was born ready!" Mona got in her stance with a smirk.

"Fighters at my mark… BEGIN!" A soldier threw his arm down.

BGM: Gerudo Valley (Super Smash Bros for Wii U/3DS)

Mona and Sheik both charged at each other, both of them throwing a punch/cross chop as they both struck each other to knock each other back, then Sheik threw down a Deku Nut to blind Mona. "Mmmph!" Mona grunted, rubbing her eyes as Sheik was right behind her and kicked her in the back, before throwing needles.

Mona shook it off and smirked as she threw a few punches at her, but Sheik flipped over her and attempted to use Bouncing Fish… however, Mona grabbed her ankle with a grin. "Huh?!" Sheik said in surprise as Mona threw her to the ground, and then proceeded to body slam into her elbow first, the elbow striking her gut.

"Ragh!" Sheik yelped, kicking Mona off of her as she threw a burst grenade at Mona, but she kicked it back where it exploded in her face, then Mona grappled her and swung her into the ground once more, punching her repeatedly until Sheik knocked her off.

This girl… she's not normal! Sheik thought as she pulled out a dagger and proceeded to slash her to attempt for a Sheikah Dance, but Mona grabbed her wrist and twisted it, then flipped her over and punched her in the chest to send her flying, where she smashed into a wall and fell over in defeat.

"Victor! Mona!"

"Booyah!" Mona fist pumped as she walked over to Sheik. "You okay there, dude?"

"I'm fine… I wasn't expecting that kind of strength." She said as she immediately transformed into Twilight Zelda. "But, that was a good match."

"YOU'RE A WOMAN?!" Mona yelled in surprise.

"I do tend to get that a lot." She giggled.

Mona chuckled. "Well, that was a good fight!" She said, the two shaking on it as they walked back.

"...I feel like I've seen her before." LttP Zelda mused. "I can't place my finger on it…"

"You too?"

The matches continued as Mona would watch as Young Link turning the tables on Impa, Twilight Link knocking down a Zora, Warriors Zelda turning the tide on Urbosa, which then resulted in a hug between the two after a good match…

"Next up, Mona vs Impa from the Warriors timeline!"

"I've watched your fight with Sheik. It was quite impressive."

"Aw, thank you!"

"However, this is where your luck runs out." Impa readied her sword. "I hope you're ready."

Mona smirked. "Bring it on!"

"Fighters at the ready… BEGIN!"

BGM: Skyloft (Hyrule Warriors)

Mona bounced on her feet and charged toward Impa. The latter quickly weaved her head to avoid a punch as she thrusted her knee into Mona's gut, kicking her away as she unsheathed her sword and swung it at her.

Mona quickly backflipped to avoid it as Impa got in a stance and jumped up in the air, swinging her sword down but Mona rolled out of the way as she looked at Impa's scabbard as she picked it up and thrusted, shoving Impa's sword back into the sheath. Impa raised an eyebrow and swung it around to take Mona for a ride.

"Whoooooa!" Mona yelled, grasping onto the scabbard before proceeding to get on top of the scabbard with a grin.

Impa stopped spinning. "Huh…?" She looked around in confusion as Mona ran down her sword and punched Impa in the face to knock her away. Mona jumped off the sword as Impa let out a growl and swung her sword, where water started to splash out as water kunai dropped down from above.

"Whoa!" Mona yelped, running around to avoid them before she picked one up and threw it toward Impa. She swiftly cut through it, only for the water to splash into her eyes.

"Mmph!" Impa grunted as Mona took the sword and yanked it from her, and before Impa could react, Mona swung the sheathed sword into Impa, slamming it into her gut to make her fly into a wall, and then right as Impa recovered, Mona threw it and smacked Impa in the head to knock her out.

"Ooooh!" The audience winced, as even Rhoam grimaced at the sheer hit from it.

Zelda and Lana immediately ran to her. "Impa! Are you okay?" Zelda asked.

"I'm fine, princess… I've just never met someone as… insanely wacky as she is." Impa responded, getting up and shaking it off.

Lana turned her head over to Mona. "Just who is that girl?"

Mona leaned against the wall with a proud smile on her face as she watched Twilight Link knocking down Young Link, even with his Fierce Deity mask on hand. Zelda clobbered Midna as several Ruto and Hylian Soldiers went down.

Mona was up next, going against an ordinary Hylian soldier.

"Um…" The soldier whimpered. "I'm going against you?"

"Let the match… commence!"

"Boo." Mona smiled.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The soldier screamed as he ran away in panic.

"Uh… winner… Mona…?" Everyone besides Mona sweatdropped.

"I guess defeating Impa made that guy nervous." Anthony chuckled.

Mona went back to her corner of the wall, watching Twilight Link and Warriors Zelda stand before each other.

"I guess whoever wins gets to fight that crazy girl." Link said.

"It appears so." Zelda nodded. "May the best warrior win."

"Actually, I have a better idea!" Rhoam spoke up. "Considering it is only you three. Our final match will be a three person match. Whoever is still standing is the winner!"

"Oh cool!" Mona grinned.

"I have no problem with that." Zelda said.

"Agreed." Link nodded.

"Let the three way battle…"

Mona squared up, Link put his hand on the Master Sword while Zelda put her hand on the rapier. All of them ready to throw down.

"BEGIN!"

BGM: Molgera Battle - The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (GaMetal) (Start at 1:14)

Zelda immediately unsheathed her rapier and ran toward Mona, swiftly thrusting her rapier into her but Mona weaved her body around while Link charged at the both of them, throwing a few Skyward Strikes at the duo, forcing them to dodge as Zelda jumped back, summoning her Light Bow and firing a few arrows at the duo.

Mona rolled to the side while Link blocked with his shield. Zelda immediately raised her rapier and traced it in a circle as light orbs flew at the two. Mona dodged these as Link pulled out his twin Double Clawshot and fired at the two of them.

Zelda dodged while Mona felt herself getting latched on to. With a smirk, Mona grabbed it and swung it and Link around as she then slammed him into Zelda, but she jumped back as she fired light arrows, however Mona dodged as she ran straight for her, sliding underneath the arrow shots and then kicked Zelda in the knee.

"Nnngh!" Zelda grunted as she took a step back as Mona got back up, only to get struck by Zelda's rapier, both of them unaware of Link aiming a Bomb Arrow at them and firing, landing at their feet and knocking them back as Link charged ahead and used a Hero Spin on Zelda to knock her away.

Link turned to Mona who sprang back up as he pulled out his Ball and Chain and threw it at Mona. With a grin, she pulled back her fist and punched it back harder, sending it flying as Link gasped and ducked to avoid it coming back at him. Link then swung his arm forward to make the ball and chain fly upward and straight into Mona… only she caught it with her bare hands.

"What?!" Link said in surprise.

Just how strong is she?! Zelda wondered as Mona tossed it up in the air and spiked it like a volleyball, where it bounced off the ground and struck Link in the gut, causing Zelda to wince while Link was knocked clean on his back.

Zelda immediately sent orbs of light at Mona where she avoided them and then charged straight for her. Perfect! She thought as she clapped her hands as the Triforce of Wisdom appeared below her as heavenly lights came down and struck Mona. Got you.

Zelda proceeded to thrust her rapier into Mona to finish her off… only a hand caught it as Mona emerged from the light with a smile on her face. "Thanks, I needed the sunshine~!"

"WHAT?!" Zelda yelled in disbelief as Mona twisted her arm to make her disarm her and then shoved her fist into her gut hard enough to make her hunch over and then Mona delivered a haymaker to knock her down.

"Hiyaaaaah!" Link threw his spinner at her and then threw his Gale Boomerang at her as well, where Mona jumped into the tornado before hopping out and landing on the spinner, where she hopped off, using her heel to kick the spinner in the air and then punched it to send it flying fast enough to Link before he could react, smacking him in the head to knock him on his back in defeat.

"Come on, ya want some more!" Mona squared up with a grin before she realized both fighters were unconscious. "Oh… I guess I won!"

"Indeed, you have… even if your fighting was completely unorthodox." Rhoam said as he handed Mona the trophy.

"Ooooh~!" Mona's eyes sparkled as she took it for herself.

"...By the way, I can't help but notice you're wearing the royal guard's armor. Not to mention I've never seen your face in the castle before until now."

"Um, you have way too many guards!"

"True, but I recognize every single face in the castle… but you are quite different. I would ask if you are from a different era, but your armor looks sleek and brand new just like our royal guards."

"Um… OH LOOK, A DRAGON IS ATTACKING THE CASTLE!" Mona pointed toward the building.

"What?!" Rhoam turned his head as did the audience… but there was nothing in the sky that was attacking them. "...There's no dragon." He turned around, only to see a blinking outline of Mona. "Hmm? Now where did that young miss go?"

With MAJC…

Mona discarded the armor the moment they got out of town. "That was way too close."

"Well, at least we got our shiny trophy. That's what counts!" Camrin said.

"Something's bugging me though." Chloe said. "Everyone in Hyrule is strong, right? How was Mona able to defeat her opponents so easily?"

"Simple. They were ill prepared for her shenanigans." Anthony said.

"Yup~!" Mona grinned.

"I can buy that…" Chloe shook her head with a chuckle.

"Let us all head home now." Zoey said as they disappeared into the portal while Lana watched on.

"Huh… I had a feeling they weren't from around here." Lana folded her arms. "Mmm… eh, I'll let it slide."

Back at Windpath…

"Hmhmhmhm~ I'm definitely gonna go to my cave in Vacuo and put this along with the others~!" Mona smiled as they walked into their home.

"We can definitely make a trip over there." Anthony said.

"Yes!" Mona fist pumped.

"Hmm?" Zoey spotted something on the table as MAJC dispersed. She walked over to it, seeing it was a note as she began to read it. "Hmm… Master Camrin, Mistress Chloe? Come over here for a sec." She requested as the siblings approached.

"What's up?" Chloe asked.

"Take a look at this. It's a note from your mother."

"Our mom?!" Camrin said in surprise as they both read the note.

"I came by for a quick visit but I just missed you, apparently! It seems you also took Zoey with you! I wanted to catch up with her... anywho, couldn't stay for long. I heard something fishy is going on in another world called the Splatlands. By the time you read this, I'm probably already there by now. Until then, love you! - Mom."

"Aww, we missed her…" Chloe pouted.

"Perhaps we'll catch up with her another day." Camrin said.

"Indeed."

"Alright, you guys ready to go to Vacuo?" Jen asked. "Mona's got that look in her eye."

"Ready to go!" Camrin nodded.

"I still got my supplies. Let's go." Chloe smiled.

"Then let's rock!" Anthony said as they all headed off to Vacuo.
