Inside Fish Stew Pizza
Sitting inside pizzeria, Otar waits for Jamie and Amethyst
Otar : Heh been a while since I had pizza
Bixbite : Really? Then you're lucky. I'm gonna help you remember with this tasty stuff
The gem he has here is Bixbite, another gem who was uncorrupted by the crystal gems.
She is shown to be very skilled at cutting, having perfectly sliced up the pizza and its ingredients showing fast precision.
Seems like she does this job better than giving balloons that's for sure.
If his memory isn't mistaken, Steven attempted to reassign her the job of handing out balloons on the boardwalk a few days back, he sure laughed a little after seeing the results of that attempt.
Her pizza tasted good that's for sure, this is one of those times when he's glad his human receptors are still with him.
Jamie then appeared at the entrance of the pizzeria, with bags under his eyes
He casually sits down as he drops his head on the table
Otar : Uhm are you okay?
Jamie : Don't wanna talk about it...
Otar yawns "...ah okay"
Jamie sighs, clearly not expecting otar to agree
Jamie : Alright alright ...It's just that mom found out about my escapades here, both what happened years ago and currently
Otar : Ooooh that's why you were late for a lesson today?
Jamie : Turns out you can handle a school assault but struggle with parent issues , she was really worried...I don't remember seeing her like that ever
Otar : Well guess that's natural... How did she take it?
Jamie : Not very much. She agreed on me being teacher here but not tolarating me helping in fights
Otar : Could've been worse. Can't blame her though...I mean you nearly got done in by Citrine, nearly got caved in by Hulk, nearly were killed by that giant lady...Jamie you have like too many 'almost' situations. You may not always come out of them alive
Jamie : I'm not a little boy, I understand how she feels...but my answer didn't change. I'll do my best to not get pulverized.
Otar "Hmm...well as long as you don't regret it, should be fine I guess"
Jamie : And speaking of sleepy, you aren't looking too fresh either
Otar : Ah yes...had an unplanned sleepover yesterday and I gotta talk to you and Amethyst
"BOO!"
The mentioned gem then appeared outside the window surprising the two
Amethyst : Talk about what?
Amethyst jumps inside the window as she funnily sits on Jamie's head in her bird form
Jamie pats her as she blushes
"You still have that open relationship thing going on?"
Jamie : Huh you'd be surprised but each time I remember that, I keep feeling like I 'm a pervert of some anime
Amethyst : Oh cmon it can't be that bad? I mean are we the only ones to think like that
Amethyst loosk at Otar as she gets idea
"Hey since you do all that travleing stuff and all, haven't you met other people with this kind of thing?"
O : I did actually. Some with humans, some with demons...
J : Ah those teleport adventures...
A : I don't get how your brain didn't explode form too much learning
O : Very funny... It is kind of a headache sometimes

J : So what did you want to tell us?
O : Yesterday when we had a chit chat at the school roof...Lapis told me the story of how she got stuck on earth
Amethyst : Oh is that why we are here? Look I get it already, that she was poofed needlessly but...
O : No no it's not that she was poofed thoguh that's sad too...it's just remember when we traveled back in time and through dimensions month ago?
J : Ouh yes Rhodonite remembers too
Amethyst : So you talked? What did a century old fusion said?
Jamie : Well I visit the off-colors from time to time with Steven's help... As far as that time is concerned, she says it's good to talk with us now on that... she was uncertain if we recognised her or not.
Otar : Aaah, so she remembered us before... Okay okay let's not get too distracted...the problem is that by doing all these time travels, we may have changed more than we thought"
Amethyst and Jamie blink at that a few times in confusion
Jamie : Wait what?
Otar : ouh yeah. You see while I'm not the best expert on time and space, I got some experience... when change something in the past it changes what happens later. At least that's how it is in some occasions but in some it's like when you punch your hand into the water, the waves will come out from the hit.
Amethyst : Ah great nerdy stuff coming in...
O : Sorry but let me finish okay...I'll try to be fast. Our interactios in the past may have casued riple effects. Ripples of distortiong radiated out to that point of impact, shifting everything just a tiny bit...but enough for events to happen slightly different.
Amethyst : Wait you mean like with Volleyball?
O : We should really stop looking at her like an anomally...but yeah
Jamie : I see...so that's why you called. But couldn't you notice that a while earlier?
O : I did feel like something more is off but I guess I am little slow on picking at times. For example, when looking on the maps I noticed Russia wasn't present anymore.
He took out a map on the table, showing a giant hole in the North.
Jamie and Amethyst frowned at that before staring at him, wondering if they missed something. or did he?
Amethyst : Uhm dude when was last time you looked on the map?
O : Well not for a while... why?
Jamie : *sighs* Look, that's how the region there always looked... "Russia" is on the western side here, it's also called Moscovia. Then there's Republic of Siberia on the east, and Chechnya on the south.
Amethyst : Yeah Pearl once told me that all lifeforces were sucked outta there in era 1. It's as dead as my kindergarten...
O : Oouh so that's how it was, then no wonder. Russia is very rich in resources... oh well regardless, this was my mistake but time divergence remains.
Amethyst : Okay so what should we do about it? Everything seems fine to me even if we did change a few details.
O : Yeah I guess so... Still we should be on guard. Maybe we've just caused a war somewhere without knowing it...or a planet destroyed because-
Amethyst : Wow wow hold it there? Dude chill up, if anything happens we'll deal with it remember?
Jamie : Yeah no point beating on a dead horse
Otar frowns at the sleng but takes a deep breathe
O : Well okay I guess I should trust us on that...
Jamie : That's the spirit!
Amethyst : Now that's what I'm talking about!
Amethyst turns back into her usual form while aslo snagging some pizza
Amethyst : oh well thanks for this informative session but I gotta go now. Famethysts have a nice hangover...you can come if you want?
O : Hmm...I don't have much to do so I think I'll spend some time with you.
Amethysts smiles at that then looks at Jamie "Will you?"
J : I'll apss this time cause I'm already invited on another party at the moment.
Amethyst : Alright see ya then
Amethyst and Otar took their leave while Amethyst snuck out some pizza as well.
J : That's gotta be illegal...oh well not that she'll be caught
Jamie was leaving before his way was blocked by Kiki, hands crossed galring at him
Jamie sighs as he gets out his wallet...
