While the Hisui Gang Are Heading for the Lake Pokemon

"This should be enough to start a search." Kyoko said. "Obviously, I'll keep looking for more but it's a start."

"Who do you have so far?" Aoi asked.

"Shuichi, Kokichi, Miu, Kaede, Korekiyo, Angie, Tenko, Himiko, Tsumugi, Kaito, Rantaro and Maki. I'm sure there are plenty more but it's a start." Kyoko said and then chuckled. "To think all of this started when Kirumi was brought to my attention."

"Well, hey, at least we know there's plenty of Remnant-born Ultimates!" Aoi smiled.

"Yeah." Kyoko nodded. "I've already decided on who can get these individuals. Just need to make some calls…" She pulled out her phone while Aoi checked the list.

Aoi blinked, tilting her head. "Um… Kiri? Aren't some of these guys recuperating after that whole Fecto thing?"

"Yeah, but I think this is way less strenuous than what they just went through."

Aoi smiled. "Fair enough!"

Several phone calls later…

Kyoko got up. "Alright, let's go."

"Oh, where are we headed?"

"Me, you and Makoto are heading to Vale. I personally want to meet the Ultimate Detective of Remnant." Kyoko said.

"Alriiiiight! Third wheel city, here we go!"

Kyoko blinked before looking away, trying not to snicker at this. "Dammit Aoi…" She shook her head with an amused smile.

Aoi grinned. "Just kidding~!" She giggled, wrapping an arm around Kyoko. "Let's rock~!"

Meanwhile…

Miu - Ultimate Inventor. Location - Mantle - Penny, SAPR, Pietro, Nagisa

"Whoa…" Nagisa said as he emerged from a Warp Pipe. "I forgot how chilly this place is."

"Home sweet home!" Penny smiled.

Pietro chuckled. "I forgotten how dreary this place could be." He said as the four of them walked around Mantle.

Nagisa looked up, staring at Atlas from above. "Amazing… a floating city. I never thought it was possible."

"It is!" SAPR smiled.

"Let's see… if memory serves, my shop should be here somewhere…" Pietro mused as they walked further along. "Ah! Here we are." He said as they walked through the door.

BGM: Dr. Toadley (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story plus Bowser Jr's Journey)

Penny rang the bell on the counter.

"One sec!"

Immediately, they saw a young woman approach them. "Hi, welcome to the Pollendina pharm-... holy shit!"

"Miu, it's been far too long, my dear." Pietro smiled.

"Pietro!" Miu climbed over the counter and hugged him. "I missed you! …Seriously, Esdeath takes you to this Mushroom Kingdom but she doesn't tag me along? Give me a break!"

"Ah, sorry Miu… I didn't mean to make you worry."

"Oh, don't worry about a thing. Someone has to keep your pharmacy afloat!" She grinned and then turned to Penny. She immediately gasped. "Penny?"

"Salutations~!"

"Goodness! Look how much you've grown! …I didn't robots could grow. Seriously, the last time I saw you, your hair was short! And now it's longer… how in the-"

"Oh, I was upgraded after Galacta Knight impaled me."

"Impaled you…" Miu gasped. "Where is that asshole! How DARE he penetrate my favorite robot! Ooooh, I'll give him something to penetrate with!"

Nagisa blinked. "Penetrate as in…?"

"Mmm, I wonder how big that sword is… maybe he could penetrate me with that bad boy…" Miu drooled with hearts over her eyes. "Oooooh~!"

Nagisa sweatdropped. "Oh no…"

"Believe it or not, she used to be a lot worse." Pietro said.

"Worse?" Nagisa whimpered.

"I'd say Kaikaiana is worse than her." Penny chuckled.

Miu snapped out of it. "Aaaanywho… as I was saying, where's that fuckhead?"

"He's dead." Penny said.

"WHAT?! Aww… I wanted to clobber him with my wrench…" Miu pouted. "Who's the blue bot?"

"Hi, I'm SAPR! Penny's younger sister!"

"You made another robot… without me?!" Miu said in shock.

"Weeeell…" Pietro whispered in Miu's ear.

"Oooooh… okay, yeah, that makes more sense." She looked down at Nagisa. "Aaaand this little squirt is…?"

"Nagisa. We adopted him." Pietro said.

Miu's eyes sparkled. "Adopted?! Oh, that's adorable!" She wrapped her arms around Nagisa, stuffing his face in her chest. "Just call me Aunt Miu~!"

"Mmmph! Mmmmph!" Nagisa flailed his arms around. "Can't! Breathe!"

Miu let go of him. "Oh, by the way! I've been busy inventing a lot of things while you were gone. I'll show ya!" She walked over to the medicine cabinets with the others following her as she pressed a button as a wall opened up, then they went inside to be teleported inside of a lab.

"Wah!" Nagisa yelped.

"Welcome to my lab!" Miu said as they wandered around.

"It hasn't changed a bit." Penny smiled.

"First off, thanks to my brilliant semblance, I was able to craft this beauty!" She said, putting a backpack on her.

"A backpack?" Nagisa asked.

"Oh, my dear boy, it's more than just a backpack." She pressed a button as four mechanical arms shot out, two of them hitting the ground and raising her up. "Ta-dah~!"

"Whoa…" Penny whispered.

"Just call me Doc Ock, because I have eight limbs!"

"Wait for it…" Pietro said.

"Plenty of opportunities to fuck someone too! …And perhaps myself, ohohohoho, I didn't install a rumble feature on one of them for nothing~"

Nagisa sweatdropped while SAPR tilted her head.

"There it is." Pietro chuckled.

Miu snapped out of it again. "Oh, and I also invented this bad boy!" She said, pressing a button as a wall opened up to reveal a robot approaching them. "Say hello to K1-B0! Or Keebo, if you prefer."

"Greetings." He waved. "Analyzing… you are Pietro, Penny, SAPR and Nagisa Pollendina. A pleasure to meet you all."

Miu flashed the peace sign. "Nailed it~!"

"I have to say, that's mighty impressive." Pietro complimented as Penny stared at Keebo, where he also looked at her.

"You look nice." Keebo said.

Penny smiled. "Thank you…" She said. "You… look nice too!"

"Thank you."

Penny shyly caressed her own hair, sheepishly smiling while Keebo scratched his cheek.

What is this strange sensation I'm feeling? Both of them thought.

"So, Miu… I was wondering if you would want to come along with us back to the Mushroom Kingdom." Pietro offered.

"You mean… go with you to your new home?"

"Yes."

"Hmm, step outside for a minute while I think about it."

With a nod, they walked out although Penny looked back to look at Keebo before turning around and walked outside of the lab and pharmacy.

End BGM

The moment they did, they would hear the sound of tools being used, along with what sounded like a buzzsaw… and then Miu and Kebbo walked out, the latter pressing a button, where the building suddenly shrank down to the size of a portable cube and stuffed it in her pocket.

"I'm sure we can find some place to put this in that Mushroom Town of yours~!" Miu smiled.

"...Did she just…" Nagisa blinked.

"Awesome!" Penny grinned.

"Well, that settles that. I guess I'll have my pharmacy come with us then!" He laughed as they walked away, Miu having a dorky smile on her face.

"So… what exactly is your semblance?" Nagisa asked.

"Master Builder, I can quickly craft anything within seconds, not to mention pinpoint weakened areas and I can easily fix 'em. I'm a very efficient mechanic!" She winked.

"Oh wow!"

Miu smiled. "Yup~!"

Meanwhile, in Vale…

BGM: Bop to the Top (High School Musical) (Start at 0:47)

"Yeah, we're gonna bop, bop, bop~ Bop to the top~" Kokoro sang as she and Meloetta walked around the streets of Vale, listening to a song together and sharing a pair of wireless earbuds. "Slip and slide and ride that rhythm~ Jump and hop, hop 'til we drop~ And sta-"

BAM!

"Ack!" Kokoro yelped as she fell on her butt as the duo rounded the corner.

"Mela?!"

End BGM

"Hey, watch where you're-... Kokoro?"

"Kotoko?"

Kotoko stood up, helping Kokoro up. "What are you doing out here in Vale with Meloetta?"

"We're just heading towards a music store named Les Paul Music to buy a new set of music sheets."

"Music sheets? What for?"

"Oh, um… It's just for a new song that I've been working on."

"Really? That's so cool! I didn't know you were a songwriter!"

Kokoro giggled with a small blush. "Well… I am a musician after all. Anyway, what about you, Kotoko? What are you doing out here in Vale?"

"Oh, me? I'm mostly just here in town right now for a walk." She paused. "Hey uh… do you mind if I can tag along with you two for a while? 'Cause I honestly got nothing better to do right now."

Kokoro nodded while smiling. "Sure thing! To be honest with you, we sure could use a bit of extra company right now."

"Mela Mel!" Meloetta agreed.

"Really?! Yay, thanks!"

On the way over there…

BGM: Have a Nice Talk (Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story plus Bowser Jr's Journey)

"Soooo, Kokoro… truth or dare?"

"Truth."

"If you were to ask one of the boys from the Warriors of Hope on a date, who would it be?"

Kokoro blushed. "W-wait! I-I mean dare!"

Kotoko raised an eyebrow in amusement. "Huh… so you are setting your sights on a boy from our friend group!"

Kokoro's blush grew deeper. "N-no, I'm not!"

"We'll see about that! Let's see here… Nagisa? Nah, I don't think he's your type… Jataro? Nah, can't be him… how about Masa-" She noticed Kokoro's face getting redder. "AHA! So I was right! You'd ask Masaru out on a date!"

"N-no! We're just in a platonic relationship, Kotoko! I-I just happen to like Masaru as a friend, th-that's all!"

Kotoko smirked teasingly. "Are you really sure about that~? Then explain why your face is so red right now~!"

Kokoro's face, at this point, was as bright as a tomato. "Mmmph!" Kokoro pulled her newsboy cap down to cover her face. Palutena, just strike me with a thunderbolt if you have that kind of power…

"Hmm? Oh hey, we're here!" Kotoko said, staring at the Les Paul music store.

"We are? Oh thank Oum…" She put her newsboy cap on, giving Kotoko an annoyed glare while puffing her cheeks in a pout and walked in.

"Hehehe~" Kotoko giggled. "You look so cute when you do tha-" Instant realization hit her the moment she walked in the door. Kyaaah! I just found a new best friend and she's ten times cooler than Monaca! AWESOME~!

End BGM

BGM: Fur Elise (Beethoven)

"Mela…?" Meloetta immediately found herself attracted to the music.

"Let's see, the music sheets should be here somewhere…" Kokoro said as she wandered through the store while Kotoko noticed Meloetta floating in a different direction.

"Hmm? Hey Mela, where are you going?" Kotoko wondered as she curiously followed her.

Meloetta continued to follow the melody, soon finding the source of the song. Her eyes sparkling. "Mela!"

"What is it? It's just Fur Elise… everyone knows who Beethove-... ooooh!"

Kokoro hummed to herself, completely oblivious to what was going on as she looked through the music sheets. "Let's see… ah, this one's just the right quality!" She smiled, picking it up and turning around. "Come on, Meloetta, let's… huh?"

"Mela Melo Lo Melaaaa~"

Kokoro's ears twitched as she walked to where Meloetta was. "You always were attracted to soft playing music." She giggled and walked into another room. "There you are, silly-... oh!"

Kotoko turned to her. "She's beautiful!" She smiled.

End BGM

The pianist finished, smiling at Meloetta. "I never imagined I'd have a back up singer for a song like that." She smiled and looked at the duo. "Oh!"

"That was very pretty!" Kotoko smiled.

"Thank you. What are your names?"

"Kotoko Strauss, I'm the Lil' Ultimate Drama!" She smiled before frowning. Come to think of it, I'm not little anymore…

"And I'm Kokoro Kinokoshi!"

"...Wait, I thought you were a Neves." Kotoko said.

"Oh, right… Kinokoshi-Neves. I'm still not used to the name change." Kokoro giggled.

"A pleasure to meet you all. I'm Kaede Akamatsu, the self proclaimed Ultimate Pianist." She smiled warmly at them before staring at Kokoro. "Wait a moment… you said you're Kokoro Kinokoshi?"

"Yup!"

"Oh goodness, I am such a big fan of you and Sea5ons! Is it true you write the music?"

"Mhm!"

"Oh, that's so cool! Mind if I-"

Kokoro immediately pulled out a notepad and pen, immediately writing down her name, ripping out the paper and handing it to Kaede. "Here you go."

Kaede smiled. "Aw, thanks!" She said, putting it away.

"So… self proclaimed, eh?" Kotoko asked. "You don't look like someone to have an ego."

"Well, funny you should mention that… when I lived in Mistral, I was having a friendly competition with a fellow pianist. The next thing I know, people started calling me the "Ultimate Pianist of Mistral". It kinda just stuck, admittedly."

"You're from Mistral?" Kokoro asked.

"I moved here a few months ago. Mostly to do with people not understanding boundaries and wanting to shove flash photography in my face…" She sighed. "Paparazzi, am I right?"

"Relatable…" Kotoko shuddered.

"Yeah… luckily Sea5ons doesn't have that problem. They do tend to back off when Cardin and my sister Chelsea threatens them or the crowd shoos them away."

"Lucky… I wish I had that pleasure…" Kaede mumbled.

"So you moved here… but you kept the title?" Kotoko asked.

"It has a nice ring to it. Plus, I'm not hunted down by the crowds… I don't like the popularity. It's a drag."

"Again, relatable!" Kotoko shook her head.

"So, do you have a semblance?" Kokoro asked.

"As a matter of fact, I do!" Kaede said, cracking her knuckles. "Depending on the song I'm playing, such as this-"

BGM: Moonlight Sonata (Beethoven)

Kaede's hands glowed a soft blue color as soft colored musical notes rose up from the piano keys and circled around the group. They could feel the soft embrace of the song, feeling warmth as if someone was giving them a hug.

"If I play a calming and soothing song, I can manipulate the musical notes to go around you all. These particular musical notes will calm even the angriest of folk, a savage dog barking its head off… this will soothe anyone, even a Grimm. Perfect for a getaway. It's like you are being hugged by the fluffiest of clouds. The calming melody will even make a wailing baby stop crying and calm it as well. And the best part? Kotoko, look at your arm."

"Hmm?" Kotoko looked at the scrape on her arm as the musical notes surrounded the wound. The music notes exploded into a sparkly aura, her scrape healing itself and disappearing. "Whoa…"

Kaede sweetly smiled. "Pretty great, no?"

She stopped playing.

End BGM

"Now… if I were to play a more intense song…"

BGM: 5th Symphony (Beethoven)

Kaede's hands glowed red as red and orange musical notes rose up and surrounded them, and unlike the other musical notes that moved around in harmony, these musical notes moved erratically, but moved around the girls.

"This will get anyone on the edge of their seats, their blood pumping with excitement! It'd make even the stoic excited and keep them on their toes! Not only will this give anyone a boost of adrenaline… it'll raise up their defense and power as well! And the cherry on top-"

She snapped her fingers, where the musical notes made small fiery explosions. "Boom! The explosions will engulf anyone if the musical notes joined together! Not even the Grimm can withstand this might!"

She stopped playing.

End BGM

"By no means am I actually a huntress… but if you need support, I'm your woman!" She smiled.

"Oh wow!" A voice said as they turned to see Ling looking into the doorway. "I didn't know you had that kind of talent with ya!"

"Ling?" Kokoro asked. "What are you doing here?"

"I was sent by the Future Foundation to retrieve Kaede." Ling smiled.

"Future Foundation? I've heard of that, admittedly… I've always been curious as to what that actually is."

She stood up, picking up her electric keyboard and storing it away. "You must be Ling Amarylis of Sea5ons, right?"

"Yup."

"Sweet! Take me there, please." She said as the two walked out, Kaede turning her head and waving at the duo and walked out of the store.

"Mela!" Meloetta waved as Kotoko and Kokoro looked at each other.

"I like her." Kotoko said.

"Same!"

Shuichi and Kokichi Neves - Ultimate Detective and Ultimate Supreme Leader - Kyoko, Makoto Naegi, Aoi

"According to this… they should be right around…" Kyoko looked up, seeing the police station in front of them. "Here."

"An Ultimate Supreme Leader working in a police station? …That's concerning." Makoto said.

"Either that or he's got a massive ego." Aoi shrugged as they walked in.

"Excuse us, ma'am." Kyoko spoke up, approaching the front desk. "We're looking for a Shuichi and Kokichi."

"What do you want from them?"

Kyoko showed off her badge. "Official business."

Her eyes widened. "The Future Foundation?!"

"Yes."

"They're right this way."

Meanwhile…

"Okay, so… do you recognize any of these men?" Shuichi asked a woman.

"I was hiding in the bathroom stall, so I didn't see his face. But… I heard him. He was singing along with the music at the bar."

"Do you remember what he was singing?" Kokichi asked.

"I think it was the song "I Want It That Way"?"

"Ah, the Backstreet People. Shuichi and I are familiar with those guys…" An idea came to him, smirking at the thought. "Hehehehe~"

"...Oh no…" Shuichi grimaced.

Kokichi pressed a button on the mic. "Number One, can you please sing the opening to "I Want it That Way"?"

"Really?" The first suspect looked confused. "...Okay." He cleared his throat. "You are my fire~"

"Number two, keep it going!"

"The one desire~"

"Number three, go for it!"

"Believe what I say~"

"Number four!"

"I want it that way~"

"Tell me why~!"

"Ain't nothin' but a heartache~"

"Tell me WHY~!"

"Ain't nothing but a mistake~"

"And now number five~!"

"I never wanna hear you say~"

"Woo~!"

"I want it that way~"

"Oooh~ chills! Literal chills!" Kokichi smiled proudly.

"It was number five." The woman spoke up. "Number five, he killed my brother."

"Oh my Oum, I completely forgot about that part."

Shuichi facepalmed.

Ten seconds later…

"Alright, you!" Kokichi said as they were in the interrogation room. "Tell us why you killed her brother!"

"I ain't tellin' you nothing!"

"Okay, buddy boy… we can do this the easy way or the Kokichi way! Your choice, pal."

Shuichi sighed. "You might want to take the easy way. The Kokichi way is… not for the faint of heart."

"Ha! I ain't no pussy. There's no way I'm doing it the easy way!"

Kokichi formed a creepy smile. "Bro, take a walk outside. I got work to do~"

Shuichi shook his head. "Your funeral." He said to the suspect and walked out, closing the door behind him.

"Excuse us." A voice said as he turned to Kyoko and the others approaching him. "You wouldn't happen to be Shuichi, correct?"

"That would be me, yes." Shuichi nodded. "...Wait, who are you?"

"Kyoko Kirigiri, these are my partners Aoi Asahina and Makoto Naegi."

"Heya!"

"Hi."

"We're from the Future Foundation."

"The Future Foundation?" Shuichi's eyes widened. "As in that Future Foundation that formed in the Mushroom Kingdom?"

"That's us." Kyoko nodded. "We're fellow Ultimates as well."

"Mushroom Kingdom-born Ultimates, I presume?"

"More like a different world." Kyoko said. "From where we come from, Ultimates are pretty common. When we got here, we assumed there were no Ultimates unique to Remnant. That all changed when we found someone that is known as the Ultimate Maid, Kirumi Tojo."

"That would cause some interest, I'll admit." Shuichi nodded. "Honestly, when I heard Ultimates were in the Mushroom Kingdom, I didn't think anything of it. Anyway, what are your particular talents?"

"Ultimate Swimming Pro!"

"Ultimate Lucky Student… long story…" Makoto sheepishly rubbed his cheek.

"Ultimate Detective."

Shuichi's eyes widened. "You're an Ultimate Detective as well?"

"Indeed."

"I thought I was the only one…"

Suddenly, the door opened as Kokichi walked out as they heard the suspect crying loudly. He immediately pulled up his radio. "Hey Gladys, could you be a dear and get the janitor in the interrogation room? There's a big ol' mess on the floor… oh, and a suspect. Thank you~!" He turned to the others with a goofy grin and flashing the peace sign. "Another satisfied customer!"

Shuichi sighed. "I sometimes wonder how we're even related…"

Kokichi wrapped an arm around Shuichi. "Aww, come on! You love my antics and you know it!"

"Riiight… anyway, we have fellow Ultimates."

"Oh? Oh, nice to meet ya! I'm Kokichi Neves, the good looking, charming, and handsome young rogue! I'm also known as the Ultimate Supreme Leader!"

"Why call yourself that?" Aoi wondered.

"Because I'm known for my domineering good looks and my charming personality… although if I told you the real reason, I'm afraid I'll have to kill you."

Kyoko folded her arms. "Uh-huh…"

"...Really? Not even a flinch? Maaan, you're boring!"

"He came up with the title when he saw "Supreme Leader" in a board game we played and thought it sounded good for him, and then just added "Ultimate" to the title." Shuichi said.

"Up up up! I didn't come up with that from some silly ol' board game! I came up with it myself so no one would want to mess with yours truly, thank you very much!" Kokichi said. "That board game stole my title and I'm still asking for royalties to the company, but they're not budging…"

"Ultimate Supreme Leader? More like Ultimate Egotist…" Aoi mumbled.

"Naaah, doesn't fit my semblance…" Kokichi said.

"So, I was hoping to ask for a favor." Kyoko spoke up.

"What's up?" Shuichi asked.

"Considering there are fellow Ultimates here in Remnant, I was hoping we could form an alliance with you and any other Ultimate we come across." Kyoko said.

"Ah, so if you're in trouble, we'll be able to offer help?"

"Exactly."

Shuichi smiled. "Sure, I like that. How about you, bro?"

"Eh, sure… why not." Kokichi nodded as they all shook on it.

"By the way, what exactly are your semblances?" Makoto asked.

"Oooh, I'm so glad you asked!" Kokichi grinned. "You see, our semblances are-"

Somewhere else…

Tenko Chabashira - Ultimate Aikido Master. Location - Vacuo. Makoto Nijima, Ann, Sakura

"Okay… supposedly there's a gym here…" Makoto said as she walked around Vacuo with the duo.

"So this is Vacuo? Huh… kind of an interesting place…" Ann said.

"Yeah." Makoto nodded.

"I've always wondered what Vacuo looked like. I've heard it was a desert…" Sakura said.

"Well, now we know what the town looks like, and the place where Chelsea grew up in." Makoto looked around. "It should be… ah, here we are!"

"That phrase gives me the creeps now… not to mention makes me a bit sad…" Ann mumbled.

"Huh? What do you-... oh."

"And here we are!" The voice echoed in the Phantom Thieves' minds, where Sakura raised an eyebrow.

"I imagine it has something to do with what happened at Popstar?" Sakura asked.

"Yeah… but let's not worry about that." Makoto said as they walked in, where they would see a woman slaughtering a punching bag.

"That her?" Sakura asked.

"That's her." Makoto nodded.

"Hah… hah…"

"Excuse us." Ann spoke up.

"Hmm?" She turned around.

"You wouldn't happen to be Tenko Chabashira, would you?" Ann asked.

"Yes, that would be me." She nodded. "...Wait, I know you two."

"You do?" Makoto raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, you're the Phantom Thieves of Remnant. You guys helped take down Roman Torchwick."

"...Uh… you must be confusing us for somebody el-"

"Nope, I'm not." Tenko pulled out her scroll and looked through her social media. "Let's see… favorites.. Ah, here we are." She showed the scroll. "Just look through this."

"Uh, anyone know what these… Calling Cards are about?" - Paratroopa

"Got me." - A Goomba

"Looks pretty serious. I wonder what they have against Roman Torchwick?" - Buzzy Beetle

Makoto pressed the retweet button, noticing the first was a Toad.

"Dude, look at this! Roman Torchwick got nailed!"

"Whoa, what the heck is that?"

"Got me!"

"...Oh, this can't be good. I'm sure these people have their reasons, though." - Sae

Then it went to the Smash Mansion.

"Get a load of this! The Phantom Thieves are at it!" - Wario

"Not my problem…" - Samus

"...? I don't get it." - Zelda

"HOLY SHIT, THE PHANTOM THIEVES ARE IN REMNANT!"

Makoto grimaced, noticing that it was one of their fans in their world.

"Wait, they're all in Smash Bros?! Cool! …Who's this Roman Torchwick guy though?"

"Oh man, this guy sounds like bad news! Strike him down!"

"Man, even Remnant has bad eggs? Guess all worlds suck… go Phantom Thieves!"

"I'm sure it's not that bad." Ann said as Makoto gasped.

"Ooooh, it's bad!" Makoto said, pulling up a group photo.

"These are the Phantom Thieves in question. Don't they look dashing? Ahahahaha." - Mr. D

"Who the hell is Mister-" Ann paused, looking at Makoto in annoyance. "...Dimentio."

"Yup, looks like it… unfortunately." Makoto grumbled. "I'm surprised we didn't get hounded though."

"Yeah, you were about to until that Eggman guy showed up." Tenko said. "Because of him, everyone forgot about you."

Makoto and Ann sighed in relief.

"But I didn't." Tenko smiled. "Don't worry, I'm not gonna call the cops or anything, I'm sure you had good reasoning over Torchwick."

"They did." Sakura nodded.

"Oh, I'm sorry… who are you?"

"Sakura Ogami. I'm the ultimate Martial Artist."

"Oooh, similar to my title. Nice!"

"Makoto… does she sound familiar to you?" Ann whispered.

"She almost sounds like…"

The two of them looked at each other. "Ibuki!"

"Ibu-who?" Tenko tilted her head. "Eh, I'm not worried about that… however, I'm actually curious about your strength. I wanna see how strong you are."

"Well, we got a heavy hitter right here!" Ann said, putting her hand on Makoto's shoulder.

"Yup." Makoto smiled.

"Oh sweet! Come on, let's go to the ring!" Tenko grabbed Makoto's arm and yanked her away.

"Whoa!"

Sakura and Ann walked over to the ring, the former noticed a billboard filled with men crossed out the board. "Hmm?" She raised an eyebrow.

Tenko squared up. "Alright, show me what you can do, Makoto!"

"Alright… this will be good practice for my eventual bout with Junko." Makoto said, squaring up as well.

Bout? More like a slaughterfest… Ann thought.

BGM: Minor Circuit - Remix (Super Smash Bros For Wii U/3DS)

Makoto and Tenko charged straight for each other, the former throwing her fist but Tenko grabbed her arm and threw her to the ground. "Mmmph!" Makoto grunted.

"Oooh!" Ann winced as Makoto sprang back up and delivered a right hook, left hook combo, striking Tenko, but she smirked and delivered a palm strike into her chest and then sweep kicked her, where she slammed into the canvas.

"Nngh!" Yup, that's definitely Aikido… She thought as she sprang back up, glaring at Tenko as she clapped her hands together, taking a deep breath and closing her eyes as an aura surrounded her, exhaling deeply.

"Is she activating her semblance?" Sakura wondered.

"I don't care if she is!" Makoto lunged, delivering a swift right hook… only for Tenko to weave her head and grabbed her arm again, throwing her to the ropes where she bounced off and delivered a massive uppercut to knock Makoto in the air, then she jumped up and spin kicked to send her crashing into a wall.

End BGM

"Oh goodness!" Ann ran over to her friend while Sakura looked at Tenko.

"What is that semblance, if I might ask?"

"Calm Mind. I take a deep breath to calm myself, and then this aura surrounds me. It boosts my power and defense."

"Interesting…"

"But still… you call that strength, Makoto? I eat that for breakfast, you ain't nothin'!"

"You…" Makoto rose up, clenching her fists as she cracked her neck. "You just pissed me off…" She growled. "PERSONA!"

BGM: Take Over (Persona 5)

"Oooh, round two? Bring it~!" Tenko smirked as Makoto, now Queen, jumped back into the ring.

"Welp… nice knowing her." Ann said.

Queen lunged at Tenko. "This is gonna be the same stuff as last-" Queen swiftly sweep kicked to knock Tenko off her feet. "-TIME?!"

Queen delivered a powerful punch into her gut, sending her crashing into the canvas as the whole arena shook against her might, bending and then bouncing Tenko in the air as Queen jumped up and axe kicked her into the ground.

"Nnngh!" Tenko grunted, shaking it off. "Alright, now it's a fight!" She smirked, clapping her hands and taking a deep breath to activate her semblance… only for Queen to grab her wrist. "Huh?!"

"None of that bullshit!" She threw her to the ground again as Tenko bounced up, having some fear in her eyes. "What's wrong, you act like you've never been afraid in the ring before!"

She's not human…! She thought as Queen charged again, swinging her fist as Tenko grabbed her wrist with a growl, however Queen flipped herself over and wrapped her legs around her before bringing her down to the canvas. "Mmmph!" Her aura flickered as Queen grabbed her arm. "W-wait a second! My aura's dropped and-"

"In an official fight, you fight until your aura drops in the red… but last I checked, this fight isn't official!"

Tenko paled as Queen threw her to the ropes, where she bounced off as Queen pulled back her fist, unleashing a powerful Freidyne punch in the gut, sending her flying toward the ropes as it tried to hold her… but the ropes instantly snapped off as Tenko slammed into a wall, her aura shattering upon impact.

"Oooh!" Ann winced as Queen turned back to normal.

"I think you went overboard." Sakura said as Makoto walked over to a dazed Tenko.

"Uunngh…" Tenko groaned, looking up at Makoto. "You're… pretty powerful, I'll give you that." She chuckled as Makoto offered her hand. Tenko immediately took it and was helped up. "Now I know not to mess with a Phantom Thief." She chuckled.

"Pardon me for asking this." Sakura mentioned. "But what is with those men on the billboard?"

"Huh? Oh… it's… well, let me put it this way. All of them are my ex boyfriends… they… let's just say they're responsible for my distaste in men."

"Really?" Ann asked.

"Every man I dated… they would put on this really adorable face, and then the next thing I know, they become assholes and treated me poorly… hell, some of them cheated on me and called me horrific names. One of them even physically abused me! I kicked every one of their asses… and honestly, because of them… I came to the conclusion that all guys suck."

"Yeah, that'll do it…" Ann rubbed her head. "But listen, Tenko. Not all guys are like that. You just happened to find some really bad eggs. Most guys are the sweetest guys you'll ever meet." She gave a small smile. "Heck. I'm dating one of 'em. He's loud and obnoxious, but he's also rather caring. He wears his heart on his sleeve… which he can be a bit impulsive but it's fine."

"My man's the same way. He tends to be quiet and mysterious, but he's also a good man and he treats me well." Makoto smiled. "He's also a leader, so there's also that."

"I'm… not dating anyone in particular, but several of my classmates are kind and sweet too. Perhaps you could find someone just like them."

Tenko sighed. "Maybe…"

"Don't worry about it. Don't let these past experiences change your views of men." Ann smiled.

Tenko softly smiled. "Yeah… maybe I'll give it another go…"

"That's the spirit!" Ann grinned.

"So, let's get going. The Future Foundation wishes to see you." Sakura said.

"Oh?" Tenko wondered as the two of them walked off, all the while Ann and Makoto looked at each other.

"I knew you were dating him!" Both of them said with a smirk.

Somewhere else…

Angie Yonaga - The Ultimate Artist. Location - Mistral. - Yusuke

Yusuke emerged from a Warp Pipe. "Alright, found the right one, thankfully." He said as he looked around. "Let's see… where would Ms. Angie be?" He wondered as he spotted an art exhibit nearby. "Ah! Of course."

He walked over when he heard noises coming from the Warp Pipe. He turned his head to see Ieyasu, Sayo and Blanche hopping out.

"Hmm? Oh hey, I know you. You were out at outer space with me and Sayo that one time. Yusuke, right?"

"That's correct. It's been a while." Yusuke said and turned to Blanche. "Oh, I'm afraid we haven't met yet. I'm Yusuke Kitigawa."

"Blanche Sniegowski."

"Hmm? Ah, you must be Albedo's older sister, correct?"

"Yes."

Yusuke smiled. "So, what are you three doing here?"

"We heard about a pop up art gallery that was all the rage in Mistral according to one of our classmates. So we decided to check it out." Sayo said.

"Interesting. I was tasked to find a Remnant-born Ultimate here in Mistral, someone by the name of Angie Yonaka."

"Perhaps we can find her here together." Ieyasu said.

"Indeed." Yusuke nodded with a smile as the four of them walked over to the art exhibit, where they would see beautifully painted paintings on the walls and canvases.

"And if you look at this beautiful painting-"

The four turned to the source of the sound.

BGM: Creative Exercise (Mario Paint)

"Oh goodness!" A curator mused. "What are these two engaged in war?"

"These are the brother gods. The Brother of Light and the Brother of Darkness. Together, they formed this world. And I also happen to be a big fan of them too, as I tend to worship them. I've had this vision of them waged in an eternal war of light versus dark. I'm planning on painting another where they are in eternal peace once more."

"Fascinating! I look forward to more of your work, Ms. Yonaga!"

Aha! The quad thought as they approached her.

"See you again!" She waved as she noticed the four approaching her. "Ah, come to experience creativity?"

"It's a marvelous piece." Yusuke said. "You are Angie Yonaga, the Ultimate Artist, correct?"

"The one and only~!" Angie smiled.

"We've heard about you from Vale so we decided to see how great your pieces were." Ieyasu said.

"Oh, have my paintings reached Vale? Excellent!" Angie smiled.

"So, you mentioned something about the Brother Gods?" Yusuke asked.

"Oh yes! Let me tell you the story of these Brother Gods. You see, long ago-"

One explanation later…

"And that's their story." Angie smiled. "I happen to be their number one supporter. Life, darkness, they all seem so… complex. I'm sure they are very nice gods who just happen to have a quarrel every once in a while."

"I see…" Yusuke mused.

"I worship them all the time, however… I'm not one to shove my religious beliefs down anyone's throats. You don't get any friends if you do that." Angie shook her head. "But if you're willing to listen, I'll be there to answer any of your questions!"

I can't help but notice she sounds like Morgana… Yusuke thought. Come to think of it, she sounds similar to Asahina…

"I'm more of a Palutena kind of guy myself." Ieyasu said.

"Same here." Sayo smiled.

"Um…" Blanche rubbed her arm awkwardly.

"Palutena? I don't know who that is, but it sounds like a false god. Can't fool me one bit!"

"Ahem. Anywho… what is your semblance if I may be so inclined?" Yusuke asked.

"Ah!" Angie pulled out a black pen. "Observe~!"

She proceeded to draw on the ground, drawing a small dog as she filled in the details as quick and precise as she could. She took a step back as the painting came to life. It barked happily.

"Live Animation! It gives me the ability to animate ink drawings from any surface, including my sketchbook. I can even turn 'em into my minions and make them attack Grimm." She flashed a grin. "So imagine an ink Beowolf attacking a real life Beowolf. The confusion is always worth it!"

She then dismissed the drawing.

"Whoa, that was cool!" Ieyasu smiled.

"Indeed!" Yusuke nodded. "I'm also an artist myself. Perhaps one day we could collab on a painting together?"

Angie gasped, her eyes sparkling. "I'm honored!"

"So, you willing to make a trip to the Mushroom Kingdom? The Future Foundation wishes to see you." Yusuke said.

"Oh, sure, I was just about to close up shop anyway. It's actually my last day here in Mistral anyway. I've been meaning to move to a different location for a fresh change of scenery." Angie said. "Let me just pack up and I'll come with you."

"Very well." Sayo nodded.

End BGM

"Hey, um... Yusuke?" Blanche spoke up.

"Yes?"

"Well... I just wanna say thank you for you know... looking after my brother and his friends after they disappeared from Remnant about a week ago."

Yusuke smiled. "It was no problem, Ms. Sniegowski. But I'm not the only person you should be thanking."

Somewhere else…

Korekiyo Shinguji - Ultimate Anthropologist(?) - Location: McGarden Library - Nesta, Cardin, Masaru

"You have an Ultimate in your library, huh?" Cardin asked.

"Yup. He's actually the library's historian." Nesta said.

"That sounds cool!" Masaru smiled as they walked into the building.

Nesta immediately walked through the library, instantly knowing where to go as Cardin and Masaru followed until they found a masked man sitting at his desk.

"Hey Kiyo." Nesta spoke up as the man turned around.

"Ah, Nesta! I thought this was your day off."

"It is, but I got a call from the Future Foundation looking for the Ultimate Anthropologist."

"Are they now? Well, best not to keep them waiting, I suppose." He turned to Cardin and Masaru. "Ah, these must be your children."

"Indeed. This is Cardin and Masaru."

"Yo."

"Heya."

"Greetings, I'm Korekiyo, the Ultimate Anthropologist. Well… I kinda dropped that admittedly. I'm more of an Ultimate Historian these days, though I still dabble with anthropology every once in a while…"

"So uh, silly question… what's with the mask?" Cardin asked.

Oh boy… Nesta thought.

"Oh this? Well… if you must know." He took off his mask, revealing his viper fangs in his mouth. "I'm a green pit viper Faunus! Ssssss!"

"Gyah!" Cardin and Masaru flinched.

"I do get that reaction a lot." He put his mask back up with a chuckle.

"Sooo uh… you… have… any siblings?" Masaru asked.

"I do not. I'm an only child." Korekiyo said before chuckling. "Now then-"

"Another question! What's your semblance?" Cardin asked.

"Ah!" Korekiyo walked over and pulled out a book. "Hold this for me."

"Okay…" Masaru held his hands out as Korekiyo put his hand on the book. "Nnngh… mmmph… WAAAAH!"

THUD!

"I'm okay!"

"I can make objects either weightless or make them extremely heavy. Even a small pebble can weigh the size of an anvil." He said. "Gravity based, if you will." He then put his hand on the book and made it lighter for Masaru.

"Phew…"

"The only drawbacks to this is that I can't use it on myself or anyone else, and the heavier the object, the more concentration I need. It also does a number on my aura too… you're not hurt, are you?"

"My arms are a bit tingly but I'll survive."

"Excellent. So, Nesta. Shall we get going?"

"Yes." Nesta smiled as they walked off together.

Tsumugi Shirogane - Ultimate Cosplayer. Location - Vale. - Chiaki, Hajime

"Okay, so apparently, according to her social media page. She's currently attending a comic convention in Vale called V-POP Comic Con." Hajime said, looking through his phone.

"They have Comic Cons here? Huh, who would've thought." Chiaki said. "Might as well cosplay for the occasion."

"Hmm… I do have something in mind… I'll be right back." Hajime said and then went into the bathroom.

Chiaki looked in her screens. "Let's see… who do I want to cosplay as… oooh, this one will do!"

A few minutes later…

Hajime walked out, having blonde hair and wearing pale brown colored contact lenses. "What do you think? Rindo Kanade from NEO: The World Ends With You seems fitting for me, no?"

"Oh yes, you look absolutely cute!"

"Meanwhile, you cheated. You just went into your powers and decided to be Nepgear from Hyperdimension." He teased.

"I couldn't decide if I wanted to go with her normal form or her HDD form, admittedly." Chiaki chuckled. "I just went for her human look."

"Now then…" Hajime turned over to Elfilin as did Chiaki.

"Uh… what are you guys looking at me like that for? Wait… what are you doing? Why are you giving me weird happy faces?!"

A few minutes later…

"...I feel violated.." Elfilin mumbled, covered in complete blue and white while having fairy wings behind him.

BB-8 let out a few chirps, decked out in R2-D2's colors.

"I look cute? Oh… uh, thank you… not sure who I look like though."

"Navi." Chiaki smiled.

"Na-who?"

"Alright, shall we get going?" Hajime asked.

"Wait, I need to get into character first!" Chiaki said and with a deep breath. "Neptune! You gotta get your butt off the ground and do your work for the sake of Planeptune otherwise it won't be Histoire who'll scold you… Noire will scold you for hours on end!" She cleared her throat. "How was that? I'm a bit rusty with the voice."

Hajime sweatdropped. "You kidding? You sound perfect."

Chiaki's eyes sparkled. "Really? Awesome! Let's go~!"

Hajime sweatdropped. I can't even bring myself to tell her she sounds exactly like her though. Ah, she's still adorable.

Once at Vale…

"Okay… do we know where the Comic-Con is at?" Chiaki asked.

"I'm… sure we can look around." Hajime said as they walked through town.

"Oh, maybe if we cut through this park…" Chiaki walked through with Hajime following her.

"You got this, Himiko! Once more with feeling!"

"You got it!"

"Hmm?" The four turned their heads.

BGM: Swing a Fish to Drive Away Flies (Touhou 10.5: Scarlet Weather Rhapsody)

They would see Marisa cheering on a young girl who was swinging her staff around. "Starlight… Typhoon!" She said, throwing her magic as star shaped bullets came out.

"That's my girl!" Marisa said.

"Yes, I did it!"

"Marisa?" Chiaki spoke up.

"Hmm? Oh hey gamer girl! …Assuming that's you." Marisa said.

"What are you doing?"

"Oh, I was visiting Remnant one day when I came across this little lady struggling to work on her magic. I thought I'd help her out."

"Yes. And I'm grateful for that." She smiled. "I'm Himiko Yumeno, and I'm the Ultimate Magician… or at least, I'm trying to be. Luckily, with Marisa's help, I was able to unlock my semblance."

"Yeah, and her semblance magic is based off of mine!" Marisa grinned.

"...Oh boy. A mini you." Chiaki sweatdropped before she realized something and telepathically called up Reimu. "Hey, Reimu."

"Hmm? Oh hey Chiaki, what's up?"

"I found Marisa. She's in Vale with her little student."

"I'll be right there. I'll bring Kasen along."

"Alright… we'll see you later. You guys have fun." Chiaki said. "...Oh! By the way, the Future Foundation is looking for the Remnant-born Ultimates to… I'm assuming forming an alliance with them."

"Alright, I'll take her to that big ass building in Toad Town soon." Marisa said as Chiaki and Hajime waved and walked away.

"I like her. She's cute!" Chiaki said.

"Of course you'd like her. She has your voice."

BB-8 chirped in agreement with Elfilin nodding.

"Really? …Hmm… I don't hear it."

Hajime shook his head with an amused sigh as they walked off.

"Alright, now to teach ya-"

"Hey, Marisa!"

Marisa and Himiko turned their heads, seeing Reimu and Kasen landing on the ground. "Heeeey, Reimu! Kasen! How's it going?"

"You missed it. We were doing a whole adventure without ya. Star rift apocalypse and all." Reimu said.

"I was going to see what that was about, but I had to make sure she was safe." Marisa explained. "By the time I found shelter for her, I turn around… and I see the rift closing. Sheesh…" She folded her arms. "So what was the damage this time?"

"A mouse fetus wanting to take over the world but got destroyed when Kirby ran him over with a truck." Kasen said.

Marisa sweatdropped. "That's a new one…"

"But while we were there, we heard that you were helping a young girl out." Reimu said.

"Yup~!" Marisa grinned. "Isn't she a cutie?"

Himiko blushed. "Marisa…"

"We were worried you were corrupting her." Kasen said.

"Nah, I'm not that type of gal. Sure, I'm teaching her my magic, but it's not like I was gonna teach her to blow up the neighborhood."

Reimu and Kasen both looked at each other nervously.

Marisa jawdropped. "GEEZ, YOU ACTUALLY THOUGHT I WAS GONNA TEACH HER THAT?!"

"Can you blame us? You have two bombs that you use as spell cards." Reimu said.

"I-!" Marisa raised a finger to protest before lowering it. "...Fair enough. But I'm not gonna go that crazy with her… unless she wants more powerful magic from yours truly."

"More powerful magic, hmm?" Himiko thought about it.

"Besides, I was gonna teach her one of my signature moves." Marisa grinned.

"...Oh no." Reimu and Kasen paled.

"Himiko. Let me show ya something." Marisa pulled out her Mini Hakkero. "MASTER SPARK!" She yelled, firing the rainbow laser up in the sky. A few townsfolk noticed this but shrugged it off and went about their day.

Himiko's eyes sparkled. "Pretty… you gotta teach me that!"

Marisa grinned. "It's pretty straight forward too~!"

"...You think we need to keep an eye on these two?" Reimu asked.

"Oh, absolutely."

End BGM

Back with the Quad…

Chiaki looked up at the sky. "Something tells me she's teaching her Master Spark."

"Should we be worried?" Hajime asked, as the couple looked at each other.

"Naaaah!" Both said with a chuckle, then they kept going.

"I wonder if we'll find it soon…"

Hajime turned his head. "Found it!"

"Hmm? Oh!" Chiaki's eyes sparkled. "Sweet!"

"Well, that was easy." Elfilin smiled as they headed over.

"Guess we have to buy tickets to get in." Hajime said.

"Ah, standard stuff." Chiaki said as they walked up front. She pulled out her wallet. "Excuse me!" She pulled out a small bag of coins. "Think you can convert these to lien and get us two tickets?"

"Oh, you're one of them."

"Huh?"

"Read the sign, lady."

We do not accept Coins, Rings, Rupees, Gold, Pokedollars, Yen or any other outsider currency. We only accept Lien.

"EXCUSE ME?!" Chiaki yelled.

"...That's problematic." Hajime mumbled as BB-8 let out several annoyed chirps while Elfilin looked confused.

"Why can't you just accept other worldly currency?"

"Because that's our policy, lady. Either you have Lien with you or beat it. We don't care if you're from another world with your own currency nor do we care if we merged with the Mushroom Kingdom. Scram."

Chiaki's eye twitched. "You're just lazy that you can't just convert other currency to Lien."

"No, we're not. You're holding up the line." He said as Chiaki immediately took a picture of said sign and walked off with a grumble. "Oh no, you took a picture. The horror."

Chiaki grumbled, immediately texting her friends and sending the picture.

"Went to a Vale Comic Con. Was met with this BS."

"Broooooo…" - Ibuki

"YO, WTF?!" - Futaba

"Skill issue. That's their problem." - Hiyoko

Chiaki sighed. "Well, now what do we do?"

"I can't believe I'm gonna say this but… perhaps we should break in."

"Honestly, I'm game for that." Chiaki said, opening up her powers. "Let's see, where's Ryu Hayabusa…"

"Hey Chiaki!" A voice called out as they turned to see LAFF, Logue, Becky and a grown man approaching them.

"Oh hey guys! How'd you know it was me?" Chiaki asked.

Laura pointed to BB-8. "Easily recognizable."

BB-8 chirped proudly.

Chiaki giggled. "Fair enough."

"Hey, wait, I recognize those costumes." Hajime said, pointing to Laura. "Rin Hoshizora from Love Live." He pointed to Albedo. "Albedo from Ben 10: Omniverse-"

"Didn't even change his name. Lazy butt…" Magnolia teased.

"Hey!" Albedo folded his arms with a blush.

Hajime pointed to the twins. "Rin and Len Kagamine." The twins beamed proudly. He then pointed to Logue. "Megumin from Konosuba." He then pointed to Becky. "And… Ochako from My Hero Academia."

"Yup!" Becky grinned.

"Wait, I've never seen you before. Who are you?" Chiaki asked, turning to her boyfriend. "Have you?"

"Nope."

"I'm Becky Blackbell, nice to meet ya!" She smiled.

Chiaki smiled. "Nice to meet you too. I'm Chiaki Nanami and this is my boyfriend, Hajime Hinata."

"Nice to meet you."

"Oh, and this is BB-8 and Elfilin."

"Hello!" Elfilin greeted while BB-8 greeted them with boops.

"Nice to meet ya! So, you're having trouble getting in?" Becky asked.

"Yeah. They don't accept otherworldly currency…" Chiaki mumbled. "Bunch of racist jack-"

"I can help with that!" Becky smiled.

"Wait, what?" Hajime asked.

"Yeah!"

"Um, I don't think that'll be necessa-"

"I insist." Becky interrupted Chiaki. "Besides, money's not an issue for me in this situation."

"It's not?"

"Nope!"

Nick grinned. "To put it simply, she's very VERY rich."

"And an heiress to a private military company to boot!" Albedo added.

"Ahem." The adult cleared his throat. "I'm part of that military company too, ya know."

Becky giggled. "I know, bro."

The man cleared his throat. "I'm Kaito Momota Blackbell, nice to meet ya. I'm Becky's big bro and I'm the Ultimate Astronaut, luminary of the stars!"

"Ultimate Astronaut?" Hajime asked.

"No, you're an Ultimate mechanic." Chiaki said.

"Ultimate Mechanic? Please, I'm not that type of guy!"

"Oh, sorry, your voice reminds me of someone we know." Chiaki said.

Oh, you hear Kazuichi coming out of his voice but you can't hear your voice coming out of Himiko? Hajime thought with a deadpanned expression.

"That's a new one… eh, whatever! If you're curious about my semblance, why I can trace any constellation and use it as a weapon! Name any constellation, anything!"

"Orion's Belt." Hajime said.

"Yup."

"Big dipper?" Chiaki guessed.

"Yes."

"Little dipper!" Chiaki added.

"Mhm."

"Cassiopeia?" Hajime asked.

"You got it!"

"Draco the Dragon?" Chiaki asked with her eyebrows raised.

"Bingo!"

Both of them whistled. "Dang…"

"Though for some reason, I can't really get the Zodiac ones. I dunno if someone else has those or they're too much for my aura to handle. Seriously, I can draw it out perfectly and coming out zilch! I feel robbed…"

"Oh, I'm sure you'll be fine. Not like anyone has them locked in magical keys or anything." Laura said, unaware of Chiaki and Hajime innocently whistling.

"Anywho, I can get you in." Becky said as they walked in together, getting tickets for them… only for Chiaki, Hajime, BB-8 and Elfilin to get literally booted out.

"Mmph! WHAT WAS THAT FOR?!" Chiaki yelled.

The cashier pointed to the sign.

"We don't accept returning whiners, even IF a friend buys them a ticket."

"...You're kidding me." Hajime said as the cashier shut the door.

"I really hate this Comic Con…" Chiaki groaned. "That's it! Hajime, climb up on my back. We're breaking in!"

Chiaki immediately transformed into Ryu Hyabusa, with Hajime clinging to her back and BB-8 clinging onto him, Chiaki immediately ran for a good spot and them climbed up the walls until she got up on the roof.

"I'm not going to wait several hours out here waiting to see if Tsumugi will come out." Chiaki said, finding a vent as they crawled in, then she opened up another vent and hopped down, landing in the women's bathroom.

"You know, alternatively, you could have teleported." Hajime said.

"Where's the fun in that?" She asked, turning back into Nepgear as she opened up the stall door… and saw several ladies in the room, all of them staring at them.

"Uh oh…" Hajime blushed.

"What? Never seen a couple make out in a bathroom before? Shoo! Go back to your vanity." She said, walking out with a blushing Hajime as BB-8 and Elfilin went by, where the latter noticed himself in the mirror.

"Hey… I do look cute in this costume!" He said before flying after them.

"You couldn't have just found a vent that put us in a unisex bathroom?"

"I seriously thought that was." She sheepishly admitted. "Now, let's find those guys."

BGM: Glitz Pit (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door)

"Oh hey, there you are!" Becky waved them over.

"That's so weird…" Kaito said. "V-POP never discriminates… the hell is that noise?"

"First time for everything." Chiaki mumbled.

"Alright, we're here for Tsumugi. How about you guys?" Hajime asked.

"The very same!" Laura smiled. "We're big fans of Tsumugi and her cosplaying work. She's huge on social media!"

"That's what Kyoko told us when we were in Forgo Dreams. How come you didn't say anything there?" Chiaki asked.

"Admittedly, we were distracted by the Pop Culture dialogue…" Albedo admitted.

Hajime sweatdropped. "That'll do it."

"So, as we know, Tsumugi mentioned she's currently cosplaying as Bulma." Kaito said. "That shouldn't be a problem."

"Right. We just gotta find the Bulma cosplay and we have our woman." Chiaki said. And finally see if she's a faker or not… "Like Kaito said, this shouldn't be a problem!"

"Uh, guys? We might have a little snag…" Hajime pointed up ahead where they saw multiple ladies in Bulma outfits.

All of them sweatdropped.

"You had to open your mouth…" Becky deadpanned.

"Aheheheh, my bad…" Kaito sheepishly rubbed his head.

"Alright, let's split up and regroup if we find Tsumugi." Logue suggested.

Later…

"Anything?" Chiaki asked as they regrouped.

"Nope." Hajime sighed.

"Nada." Becky said.

"I got nothing." Magnolia sighed.

Kaito returned with a red hand print on his cheek. "Apparently, that particular Bulma didn't like being called "You're not Bulma"."

"How'd you word it?" Chiaki asked.

"Are you Bulma? Oh, nope, you're not that sassy bitch." Kaito folded his arms. "Girl acted like she's a perfect princess…"

"Oh bro…" Becky sighed.

"Alright, ladies and gentleman! Now is time for our first main event! Our Goku lookalike contest! May our contestants step up to the stage and do their best Kamehameha!"

"Well, we could just distract ourselves for a bit." Chiaki said as they walked over to the stage, as several Goku lookalikes started to walk up on stage.

"Alriiiiight, Goku number one! Give us your best impression of his signature move!"

"Kamehamehaaaaa!"

"Pose is a little off." Kaito said.

"Goku number two!"

"Kame… hama haacha!"

"Oh cute, he mixed that one up." Hajime said.

"Goku number three!"

"Kamehame-" He thrusted his arms forward, only for his wig to fall off. "Ha- oh shoot!"

LAFF, Logue and Becky all laughed at that one.

"Wardrobe malfunction… happens to the best of us." Chiaki chuckled.

"Goku number four!"

"Kamehameforgetaboutit! Hahahaha!"

Everyone sweatdropped.

"He didn't even try…" Kaito said.

"And finally, Goku number five!"

"KamehameHAAAAAA!"

"That might've been the best one!" Elfilin said as BB-8 chirped in agreement.

"Now, ladies and gentleman, vote for your favor-"

"Excuse me!" A voice said as they saw another Goku lookalike running up the stairs. "Sorry I'm late!"

"Oh, we got a last minute entry folks!"

"Does that Goku look a bit curvy?" Hajime asked.

"Yeah, that one does… probably a Goku fangirl." Chiaki said.

"Alright, give us your best Kamehameha impression!"

The Goku cosplayer smirked. "You got it!"

The cosplayer got in a stance. "HRAAAAAAAH!" The cosplayer yelled, immediately going Super Saiyan.

Hajime's eyes widened. "Oh boy…"

Chiaki raised an eyebrow. "Special effects. That doesn't mean anything."

The cosplayer got in a stance, putting her hands together. "KA! ME!"

A blue light started to form in her hands.

LAFF, Logue and Becky's eyes sparkled.

"Uh, babe…?" Hajime spoke up.

"Blue spotlight. It doesn't mean anything."

"HA! ME!"

"Oh shit, she's gonna blow!" Kaito exclaimed.

"Just adding the intensity, nothing special!"

The cosplayer smirked, winking to the audience. "HAAAAAAAAAAAA!" She unleashed the powerful move.

"GET DOWN!" Hajime pushed his girlfriend down as it went past them.

"WHA?!" Chiaki yelled as it struck the far end wall, making a massive hole in the process before it dissipated.

The cosplayer smiled, flashing the peace sign with a dorky grin. "How's that for an impression?"

"HOLY SMOKES, I DON'T BELIEVE IT! THE ACTUAL TSUMUGI IS HERE WITH US!"

The crowd cheered as Chiaki and Hajime got back up, the former's eyes had a blank white surprised expression on them.

"That… that was not fake…"

"Nope…" Hajime agreed.

"I don't believe it! That's actually her! The Tsumugi Shirogane!" Magnolia let out a fangirl squeal. "That's amazing!"

"Uh… she's gonna pay for that wall, right?" Elfilin wondered.

Tsumugi hopped off of the stage, high fiving everyone as she noticed the others approaching her. "Came for an autograph?"

"Yes!" Magnolia said.

"Not really." Chiaki responded.

"You're the Ultimate Cosplayer, right?" Hajime asked.

"That'd be me. Wait, who are you?"

"I'm the Ultimate Hope."

"I'm the Ultimate Gamer."

"I'm the Ultimate Astronaut, nice to meet ya!"

Tsumugi's eyes widened. "Fellow Ultimates?" She shifted her eyes. "Okay, come with me if you wanna speak." She said, grabbing onto Chiaki as everyone else held on, then she Instant Transmissioned everyone away.

BGM: Become Friends (Danganronpa V3)

"Whoa!" Kaito exclaimed, groaning. "Ugh… next time, warn a guy."

"Apologies, I figured my tailor shop would be more private." Tsumugi said, immediately taking off her cosplay and turning back to normal. "Hello~!"

"Oh, you're even prettier in person! I've been a huge fan of you ever since I laid eyes on you on Lakitube!" Magnolia gushed.

"Aww!" Tsumugi smiled. "So, you three are Ultimates like me?"

"Dang straight!" Kaito said.

"We're not from Remnant, but from a different world." Chiaki said.

"Oh, you four are outworlders? Amazing!" Tsumugi smiled. "Where are you from?'

"Japan."

"New World."

BB-8 booped.

"...Beep boop bop is a world? Huh, creative."

"He meant Tattooine." Chiaki said.

Tsumugi tilted her head. "You sure it wasn't Beep-boopoine?"

BB-8 let out an amused chirp.

"So! What kind of Ultimate Gaming do you do?" Tsumugi asked.

"Well, for starters, I've played and still play tons of games but my backlog is… ridiculously long." Chiaki sighed. "Anyway, I also have gamer powers that let do this!" She summoned the Master Sword.

"Oh my!" Tsumugi looked at it curiously.

"And, this isn't what I originally look like." Chiaki turned back to normal. "I was just cosplaying!"

"Oh wow, amazing!" Tsumugi said. "On normal inspection, this would seem all fake…"

"Yeah… when I first heard about you, I… thought you were faking it and that Grimm you slaughtered with a Rasengan was all staged."

"Oh!" Tsumugi giggled. "Don't worry about it, I get skeptics all the time. I'm always happy to prove them wrong."

"So, how long can you keep it going? I've heard only a few minutes at a time."

"Well, it actually depends on what I do with what anime. If I keep using strong attacks, it drains my aura really fast. If I mix things up, I can go for as long as ten minutes. If I don't do anything and just feel like going for a walk as Saitama? Three hours."

"Oh wow."

"I only put up a few minutes in my social media because… why not? It seemed logical."

"Yeah, that makes sense."

"Wait a moment, do you have anime video games in your world?"

"Yeah… why?"

"Oooh, have you ever thought of using that? You have that in your arsenal, right?"

"Right, about that…" Chiaki rubbed her arm. "I actually do have that in my repertoire, but… I willingly choose to ignore that."

"What? Why?"

"Because, in my opinion, anime is a whole different beast compared to video games. Sure, your average anime protagonist will grow and get more powerful as he goes on, you know, your typical hero's journey. However, there are those other anime heroes that… tend to go overboard and become extremely OP and just power creep their way to the top to the point where they can level a whole city without much effort. I'd rather give my opponents a chance by using video games and not deciding to take 'em out by deciding to use Goku's powers, or using the Rinnegan with Sasuke or… becoming the next Frieza. I don't care how much fun Frieza is by playing Dragon Ball: The Breakers, which, by the way, I need to thank Futaba for showing that to me. I'm not budging, because the moment I have a taste of that anime power, I'm worried I'll never go back and just… lose myself with it."

Tsumugi blinked. "I… you know what? That's actually a legit concern, I got nothing."

"I honestly don't know how you do it. While you have a semblance that holds you back… I don't have that luxury."

Tsumugi put her hands on her shoulders. "Hey, don't worry about a silly ol' semblance that you don't have. That's what makes you… you! If you wanna hold back, that's fine. I totally understand your concern though. Anime powers are a slippery slope."

Chiaki smiled. "Tell me about it." She turned her head, spotting a video game aisle. "Oooh! Video game cosplay!" She took off running.

"I was wondering when she'd see those." Tsumugi giggled.

"That's her for ya." Hajime chuckled.

"So, what brought you over to me? Surely it's more than a fellow Ultimate get together."

"You ever heard of the Future Foundation?"

"Future Foundation? I've heard of one in passing… what are they like?"

As they were chatting, Chiaki looked through the cosplays. "Okay, what's with the odd coloring here…?" She wondered, spotting a tag.

"GYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Chiaki screamed as she ran out the door. "I GOTTA GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE I GET A MIGRAINE!"

"Chiaki?!" Hajime looked at her in worry and ran after her as Elfilin and BB-8 went off as well.

"Wait a second, Elfi, was it?" Tsumugi handed him a card. "Here's my card, give it to those two!"

"Right!" Elfilin flew off.

"I wonder what caused her to freak out… Hmm, well, I guess it can get pretty overwhelming back there…"

"So, Tsumugi… I was wondering if you could give me some advice." Magnolia said.

"Oh! Sure, what do you need, hon?"

Rantaro Amami - Ultimate Adventurer: Location - Lemnos Island: INXY

BGM: The Great Sea (The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker)

"Mmm…" Iris groaned as they were taking a ship to Lemnos Island. "Horrible idea… horrible idea!"

"It's too late now. We're already in the middle of the sea." Nyx said, reading a book.

"Aaagh, I know…"

"What's got you all antsy?" Yagami asked.

"Probably has to do with what happened back then." Xena said, lying on a beach chair.

"Honestly… yes." Iris sighed. "Considering me and my cousin had an argument and it got… extremely heated over what happened with Amon… aaagh, I'm so not looking forward to the reunion. And the sad part is, I swore to myself I'd never go back to that place until I killed Amon!"

"Ah yes, saying "never". That works out well the moment it's said." Nyx chuckled. "Like they say-"

"I know, "never say never"." Iris mumbled as she saw her island in the distance. "Ummm… hey, uh… twins? Could you possibly teleport me back to Toad Town? I wanna see if Jade is okay."

"She's in surgery. Futaba's keeping an eye on her." Xena said.

"Ooooh…" Iris sulked.

Nyx pulled out her scroll and started to text.

Hey, how's Jade holding up?

Oh, she's still in surgery. I'm currently laughing over the salt right now. - Futaba

Oh?

Yeah, apparently Deadpool just inserted himself into Smash Bros and brought that Untilted Goose with him. Cable and Dr. Strange are Assist Trophies. Avengers Tower and Untitled Park were added… a lot of people are loving it. A lot of hoes mad too!

Wait… WHAT?!

Oh! I just saw them push Jade into a room. Let me know when you come back! …How's Iris holding up?

Antsy, wanting the twins to teleport her away. Looks like she wants to die.

Yeah, she's taking that better than I thought. See ya!

"Nyx, why do you look like you got a headache?" Yagami asked.

"Futaba just told me Deadpool just inserted himself into Smash and brought a goose along…"

"What?!" Iris looked surprised. "...Girls, take me to the Smash Mansion! I wanna fight Deadpool instead of doing this!"

"No." The twins said.

"Oooooh… dammit!"

BGM: Dragon Roost Island (The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker)

The ship docked at the island as the girls walked off, where Yagami immediately pulled out her scroll and took pictures. "Just so Jade won't miss out~!" She smiled.

"I should've brought my camera, I would've loved taking pictures." Nyx said, glancing over at Iris who was still at the dock. She immediately brought out her crossbow and shot at Iris, rope instantly wrapping around her.

"Ack!" She yelped as Nyx hummed to herself, picking her up with a smile. "Nyx…"

"Yeah?"

"FUCK YOU!"

"I know~!" Nyx giggled, carrying her over her shoulder while Iris had an annoyed look on her face.

"Hmhmhmhm~" Yagami took pictures left and right.

"I don't think pictures will do it justice, sis."

"She's right. Maybe we ought to let Jade see for herself. Why don't we go back and pick her up?"

"With what, your teeth?" Nyx teased.

"Mmmph… I am so gonna smack you when I get out of this rope!"

"Aaah, it's gonna be worth it!" Nyx grinned.

"Even if they probably won't do it justice, it's still pretty to look at." Yagami said.

"True that." Xena nodded as they wandered into a village.

"Is this the village?" Nyx asked.

"Turn me around." Iris said as Nyx turned around. "...Yup, this is the village."

"Awesome." Nyx smiled, putting down Iris and taking off the rope.

"Thank you…" She said before smacking Nyx upside the head.

"Worth it!" Nyx giggled.

"I know there's no turning back but… there's still a shot!" Iris said as she tried to make a run for it.

"Iris? Is that you?"

Shit! Iris closed her eyes while grimacing. She turned her head to see a villager approaching her. "Aheheh, heeeeey… yeah, it's me!"

"Goodness, you've grown… hey everyone, Iris is back!"

"No no no! Shhhh! This is supposed to be a covert op and-" She saw the villagers approach with smiles on their faces. "...Dammit!"

"Since when was this a covert op?" Xena wondered, causing Yagami and Nyx to shrug.

Iris facepalmed. "Great…" She sighed, and then some villagers happily picked her up and carried her. "Whoa whoa whoa WHOA! Put me down! PUT ME DOWN!"

The crowd dispersed, with some kids curiously looking at Nyx and the twins. "Hi!" Xena waved.

"Think we ought to go after her?" Nyx asked.

"Yeah, probably." Xena nodded as they walked after her.

"Oh honey, it's so good to see you again!" Beryl exclaimed, hugging her daughter. Beryl had blue eyes like her daughter and a very strong resemblance to Iris, with only her hair being magenta. She also wore a necklace containing beryl stones and a Greek toga.

"Aheheh… hey mom." Iris smiled, returning the hug as she also hugged her father. "Hey dad."

"I wasn't worried about you, you're a strong woman after all." Shiro said as he wore Greek armor with a blue undershirt. He also has short messy brown hair. "I figured you would have been fine on your own." He glanced over at Nyx and the twins walking in. "And these must be your teammates that you described in your letters!"

"Oh good, I was wondering if you still had contact with them." Nyx said.

"I didn't shut them completely out of my life, I still give 'em updates on my life." Mostly everyone…

"So, which one of you is Jade?" Beryl asked.

"She's not here." Iris said. "She's back in Toad Town in the hospital. She was currently in surgery for nerve damage. We could have waited for her, but some people were too eager to come here!" She glared, as Nyx and the twins innocently whistled while glancing away.

"Oh, bless her soul. Tell her I said hello."

"Okay." Iris nodded. "Anyway, that's Nyx and the other two are Xena and Yagami."

"I've heard your team name was JINX at first, but it seems you got an extra teammate." Shiro said.

"Technically, yes, but Yagami's special." She turned to Yagami, both of them nodding as Yagami went back inside of Xena. Both them and some of the tribe folk gasped in surprise, then Xena closed her eyes and switched with Yagami.

"I'm just a personality that became her own person!" Yagami grinned. "We're a two in one!" She smiled as Xena came out, both of them high fiving.

"So it's two people in one body with both of them deciding who's the dominating personality…" Beryl mused before smiling. "How lovely!"

"You're… taking that well." Iris said.

"Considering we've had a red sky and a star rift in the sky, nothing fazes us anymore."

"You gasped!"

"It was more of a happy one."

Iris sweatdropped. Didn't sound like a happy one…

"Do my eyes deceive me?" A voice asked as Iris' eyes widened, seeing her uncle walk in. He wore black Herculean armor with brown pants and dark brown hair. He also had leg braces on him. "You came back!"

"Uncle Kuro!" Iris smiled, walking over as the two embraced. "Oh, it's been so long…"

"It certainly has, my dear." He said and turned to the girls. "Oh! This must be Team JINXY!"

"INXY, actually. Jade had a bit of an accident and is recovering in the hospital. Nerve damage." Iris explained.

"Ooooh… hope she makes a speedy recovery!" He said. "Now that you're back, we can have you reclaim your title as the next chief of the village!"

End BGM

Iris frowned. "I… I really can't stay as the next chief…" She admitted. "After what happened, I still don't think I'm leader material… besides, Jade's a better leader than I ever will be."

Kuro smiled. "I figured you would say that. I'm not going to hold it against you."

"Sweetie… what is the purpose of your visit, I might ask?" Beryl asked while Xena and Yagami levitated objects off the ground to entertain some kids.

"Have you… heard of the Future Foundation?" Iris asked. "Bunch of people with titles of "Ultimate"?"

"Ah, we've been keeping up with the news on the mainland. Ultimate Chef, Ultimate Biker, Ultimate Athlete… we've heard it all." Kuro said. "Ultimate Detective is the main chief of the Future Foundation, yes? Heard she's a mean one!"

"Actually, she's really laid back and friendly once you get to know her. When she's on a case, she's more serious." Iris explained.

"Ah! That checks out…" He chuckled.

"So anyway, we only came here for-"

"Iris? Is that you?"

Iris turned her head, immediately stiffening when she saw a teenage boy wearing light brown armor with a brown belt under his brown pants. He also wore an orange undershirt and wore brown sandals. He also had a symbol on his armor, a bird with jewels on his wing and head, similar to Iris's.

"Who's that?" Nyx asked.

"Daedalus." Shiro responded.

"Ooooh…" Nyx winced.

"Daedelus…" Iris whispered.

BGM: Scent of Silence (Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories)

"You BITCH!"

Slap!

"Nnngh!"

"Daedaelus! There's no reason for-"

"There's plenty of reason why I did that! She didn't save you! If she had saved you, you would be walking normally!"

"She did the right thing."

"DID SHE?! I say she made the wrong choice!"

"Daedelus, If I didn't save you, you would've been the one critically injured, if not worse."

"I do not care. You should've saved the both of us."

"How could I save the both of you?! It was impossible!"

"Bullshit! As daughter of the chieftain, you would've been able to save everyone!"

"Being a leader doesn't mean I can't save everyone. I know this. You know this. So calm the hell down. If I was chief, I would've done the same thing."

"OH FUCK OFF! You didn't save my father and look what happened! You're no leader…"

"DAEDELUS!"

"Not yet, I am! But mom always told me that being a leader means you have to make the hardest choices and-"

"SHUT UP! You're no leader of mine and you will never be a good leader. Hell, I won't listen to a word you say because you make a TERRIBLE leader! Hell, I don't think anyone will WANT to listen to you because of your actions!"

"That's enough, Daedalus! I do not know where this came from, but this has to end now!"

"Forget this! I should've been next in line… Because I would've saved my father. You'll never be my leader."

Tears swelled in Iris's eyes. "Come to chew me out again?" She asked, her voice breaking as Daedelus looked at her guiltily. He immediately walked closer to her as she braced for the worst, closing her eyes…

…And felt two arms wrapping around her in a tight hug. Iris opened her eyes in surprise.

"Daedelus…?"

"Please forgive me… I was irrational back then. I was so angry with Amon that I took out my frustrations out on you… I didn't mean to slap you…"

Iris pulled away. "Where did all this come from…? I thought you still hated me."

"That's because I talked some sense into him." Another voice said as Iris looked up to see a boy waving at him.

"Rantaro!" Iris smiled.

"Are you sure this is a good idea, Iris? Maybe think things through a bit."

"No… as long as I'm still here, Daedelus will continue to verbally assault me. I can't stay here… it feels like I'm no longer welcome here according to him."

"Aw come on! You're always welcome here, you were born here for Oum's sake."

"I know… but I think it would be better for all of us if I left for good. You know how I am, Rantaro… once my mind is made up, it's almost impossible to change my mind."

Rantaro sighed. "There's no way to convince you otherwise, huh?"

"No…"

Iris turned around, looking at Rantaro with tears in both of their eyes as they both hugged. "I'll miss you, Iris."

"I'll miss you too…" Iris quietly sobbed as she hopped onto the boat and took off, looking at Rantaro before she turned around, sitting down and started crying while Rantaro watched on with sadness in his eyes.

Iris pulled away from Daedelus and immediately hugged Rantaro, where he happily returned the hug.

"Daedelus, you gotta let this go, man."

"No. Iris destroyed my father's legs!"

"Dude! Iris didn't do anything to your father's legs. Amon did!"

"But she didn't save him!"

"Kuro's still alive, bonehead! Sure his legs need braces to walk around, but he's still breathing."

"She. Didn't. Save him."

"But she saved you! You oughta be grateful!"

"I'd be more grateful if his legs weren't busted! Bitch ruined him…"

"Iris isn't like that at all! What would you do if you were in Iris's place and you had to choose between Iris and your father?"

"I'd save the both of them!"

"Amon was winding up! There was no possible way to save the both of them! I don't blame Iris for hesitating, she only had one choice… you expect her to be superwoman and tackle the both of you to the ground, but that's not physically possible and you damn well know it!"

"Whatever! …Speaking of Iris, I haven't seen her for a full month. Tch, probably locked herself up in the room."

"No. She's not in her room. She left the island. For good."

Kuro turned to him in surprise. "What?"

"You just now noticed? Iris has been off this island for a full month. After that incident, you pushed her away, day after day, insulting her in front of her or behind her back. She had enough and left. You guys were so close but ever since that day-"

"You didn't stop her?!"

"I tried to, but her mind was dead set because YOU were being cruel to her for no reason!"

"But she-"

"Daedelus, let me ask you something. Are you truly mad at Iris or are you still mad at Amon for what he did to your father's legs and you're just redirecting your anger to Iris because that asshole disappeared?"

Daedelus looked at Rantaro, his eyes widening in horror. "...What have I done…"

"Ever since then, he hasn't forgiven himself." Rantaro said. "You guys were best friends and… well, ya know…"

Iris sighed. "I haven't fully forgiven myself either…" She admitted, looking at Daedelus awkwardly as he awkwardly rubbed his arm.

"Look, Iris… I…"

"It's… um… it's been nice catching up…" Iris said as she walked off.

"Wait, Iris, where are you going?" Nyx asked.

"I'm going back home. To Toad Town… that's where my true home is." Iris mumbled, walking away.

Daedelus sighed. "I was afraid of that…" He looked to Xena and the twins. "You guys keep an eye on her… all four of you."

"Four of us?" Nyx tilted her head.

Daedelus looked at Rantaro. "You heard me."

"Me? Are you sure?"

"I think you ought to go with them… keep an eye on Iris. I… I need to do some more reflecting." He walked off.

"Ya know, we were actually coming here to pick you up." Xena said. "The Future Foundation learned about Remnant-born Ultimates and-"

"Ah, so they want to see me? Sure, I'm game." Rantaro said as they walked off together. "Just one question, y'all got any room in your home?"

"I'm sure we can think of something." Nyx chuckled.

With Iris…

Iris gripped her hands on the railing, softy sobbing to herself as Nyx, the twins and Rantaro hopped onto the boat. "I never wanted to come back here…"

Nyx hugged her from behind. "There there…" She whispered as Xena and Yagami hugged her as well as Iris turned around with a smile and tears in her eyes.

"Thanks…" She whispered and spotted Rantaro. "What are you-"

"This time, I'm a stowaway." He grinned cheekily. "You're not getting rid of me a second time!"

"...Daedelus put you up to this, didn't you?"

"That obvious?" Rantaro chuckled. "Besides, you were gonna fetch for me anyway, so it evens out." The ship immediately started to move away from the island. "Aaaaand there's no turning back now."

Iris chuckled. "Well, at least this time I have a childhood friend with me." She smiled as the two embraced.

Maki Harukawa - Ultimate Assassin - Location - Outskirts of the City of Vale - Yor, Chelsea, Akame, Kurome, Wave

"I can't even believe it…" Yor said as they were walking through Vale. "Maki's alive."

"I thought she had died like the rest of our clan." Akame said.

"Apparently not!" Kurome smiled.

"Sooo, how's Esdeath holding up?" Chelsea asked.

"We calmed her down… again. This time Ironwood gave her a long affectionate hug that managed to cool her down." Wave said. "Does it stink that all the faunus are gone? Yes… but I was more worried over General Esdeath."

"Luckily General Ironwood braved the cold and cooled her off with a hug." Kurome smiled.

"I know you're angry… but we'll find a way to get them back together. Nothing will ever get done correctly if we're continuously livid…"

Esdeath's eyes stopped glowing, tears swelled in her eyes and buried her head in Ironwood's shoulder, crying into her shoulder.

"I'm here."

"It was so touching." Kurome smiled. "Ryu really did work hard and changed General Ironwood for the better."

Chelsea spotted a home. "Is this it?"

"That's the one." Yor nodded as they walked over, Yor ringing the doorbell.

"Be right there!"

The door opened up, revealing Maki. "Ye-" Her eyes widened. "No way… you… you're alive?!"

"Maki!" Akame and Kurome immediately glomped her.

"Waaaah!" Maki yelped, falling on her butt. "Mmmph!"

"We thought you were dead!" Kurome smiled.

"Thankfully, the scorpion missed you! I'm so happy you're alive!" Akame smiled as Maki pulled away from them, standing up as Yor hugged her right after.

"Yor…" Maki quietly said, not returning the hug as Yor pulled away with a smile.

"So good to see you!"

"Akame, Kurome, Yor… I'm… actually happy that you're alive." She looked at Chelsea and Wave. "Who are these two?"

"I'm Chelsea, I'm Yor's adoptive daughter!"

"Wave. Member of the Winter Ops and best friend to this dork." He said, motioning to Kurome.

"Hey!" Kurome giggled, playfully batting him on the chest.

"Now we're back to being a big ol' assassin family again!" Akame smiled. "Me, you, my sister, Aunt Yor, Chelsea-"

"Chelsea's an assassin?"

"Mom trained me." Chelsea smiled.

"I see…" Maki awkwardly rubbed her arm. "I… I… I have a confession to make…"

"What's wrong?" Yor asked.

"You know how I… came to be part of Night Raid after I left Vacuo?"

"Yeah? What about it?" Kurome asked.

"...The scorpion man wasn't the only one who tore that place to the ground."

Flashback!

"I've heard a great deal about your exploits, Ms. Harukawa. Your semblance is quite impressive from what I've heard. Bloodcurdle, was it? How your enemies see a blood-red colored oppressive aura around you, causing your foes within a four point five meter radius to become intimidated and nearly paralyzed in fear is quite a story. No one has lived to tell the tale…"

"And yet, people write stories about me. How I'm known as the Midnight Serial Killer."

"That is what led me to you."

"I'm sorry, who are you again? Choose your words carefully. They might be your last."

"I am known as Doctor Arthur Watts, and I've come to give you a job. I will pay you handsomely."

"I'm listening…"

"There is a guild in Mistral called Night Raid. I'm sure you've heard of it."

"Yes, they're the top feared guild in Remnant. Almost everyone's heard of them."

"Indeed. I need you to go in there and have this weapon destroyed." He showed a picture of said weapon. "Kagura Mikazuchi's sword: Archenemy. She put her own semblance into the sword where anyone can use Kagura's gravity. This has, shall we say, been quite troublesome for my boss. I would like you to find it and dispose of it. Destroy it, throw it into the ocean, I don't care what you do with it."

"I see."

"However, I'd like you to gain their trust first. When their guard is down and when the time is right, slaughter them and take the sword."

"How much lien are you offering?"

"Ten grand."

"Consider it done."

"I have to warn you though. There are about two hundred of them in the guild."

"Please… I've faced a hundred bandits before. What's two hundred assassins going to do with me with my semblance active?"

Watts chuckled. "I was hoping you would have said that."

"I was offered a large sum of money to infiltrate Night Raid. As I infiltrated and became one of you, I learned all about you. And when that day came…"

BGM: Heartless Journey (Danganronpa V3)

Maki's scroll went off. She pulled it out and read a message.

"You ready?"

Maki looked out the window, seeing Tyrian at the front gates. She gave him a nod as he smirked and walked in. "Here we go." Maki said, closing her eyes.

"Who are you?"

"Me? I am just a simple man looking for the Mikazuchi clan."

"That would be us. Who are you? I am not going to ask again."

"Oh, who am I Oh… nobody important~! But if you must know, I am Tyrian, the last person who you'll ever meet! …And I have come to kill the Mikazuchi's and dispose of that sword!"

"You have some nerve. You think you can destroy all of us so easily?!"

"Oh, would you look at that, there's a candelabra on a table. It would be a shame if it were to… burn!"

Maki opened her eyes, a blood red aura surrounding her body as her eyes glowed a scarlet red.

"Maki!" A fellow assassin came in. "You have to help us! This scorpion man is-"

Without even missing a beat, Maki swiftly swung her sword, cutting his head off as blood splattered everywhere. She disappeared into the shadows and proceeded to slaughter the assassins left and right alongside Tyrian.

She failed to notice Akame and Kurome running away with the sword in tow.

Maki wiped the blood off of her sword, noticing the fire was getting more intense as she casually opened up a back window and hopped out as the guild burnt to the ground.

When the smoke settled, she would see Tyrian fighting Yor. "I missed one…" She said, watching Tyrian defeat Yor but she was able to get away.

"You keep running… but I'll come back and haunt you and those miserable kids!"

Maki approached the remains of the guild, looking at some burnt remains of the victims she slaughtered.

"You're wounded."

"Aaah, just a flesh wound. I'll walk it off." Tyrian waved it off. "Oh, right, Watts gave me this to you." He said, handing her a bag full of lien. "Ten grand, as promised. Don't spend it all in one place… or do, if you feel like it. AHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed as he walked off.

Maki looked at the bag, and then looked back at the victims she slaughtered. They suddenly became blurry. "Huh…?" She wondered as she wiped her eyes, seeing that they were her tears. More tears fell as she looked at them.

She clenched her fists, tossing the bag of cash into an open flame and walked off.

End flashback

"I slaughtered everyone… and yet, I threw the reward into an open flame… I went into that guild, thinking nothing of it. However... I… grew attached to everyone in there without even realizing it."

Akame and Kurome trembled in rage. "You… you were the reason everyone died… our whole clan… wiped out because of you!" Kurome growled.

"You…" Akame gritted her teeth in anger.

Yor, meanwhile, had a disappointed look on her face. Sadness washed over her.

"I do not blame you for being angry." Maki said as she went down on her knees. "I deserve everything you'll throw at me. Even death… I don't even deserve to live anymore."

"Maki…" Yor whispered.

"You… YOU!" Akame growled, immediately unsheathing her sword along with Kurome.

"YOU BITCH!" Kurome yelled as the two immediately charged ahead, ready to kill her…

…If it wasn't for Chelsea and Wave holding them back.

"Chelsea/Wave, let me go!" They yelled.

"I'm not sure if this is a good idea!" Chelsea said.

"Something doesn't feel right about this!" Wave said.

"But she's responsible for it all! We lost everything because of her and that man!" Akame exclaimed. "She doesn't deserve to live!"

"I understand…" Yor said. "You did what you did. That's the point of being an assassin. You slaughter without mercy… that's what we all did when we had a job. We slaughtered without hesitation." Tears swelled in her eyes. "I just never imagined it'd be from within our own clan…"

"Yes…" Maki closed her eyes. "I never thought I'd feel like garbage ever since that day… but I have." Her voice started to break. "I deserve this…"

"Chelsea… Wave… take them outside. I'll deal with her." Yor said.

"Mom…?" Chelsea looked at her in concern before nodding, pulling Akame away with Wave doing the same with Kurome, both of them struggling as they were dragged outside. Yor gently closed the door and shut the curtains.

"So I meet my end by the Thorn Princess… a fitting end to a garbage human being like me…"

Yor approached her.

"I am so sorry, Yor… I know you won't have it in you to forgi-"

Yor wrapped her arms around her.

"...What…?"

"You deserve more than this…" Yor said. "Any other day, I would have slaughtered you… but being a mother changed me."

"Bullshit… you always were the kindest of the clan… even if you did adopt Chelsea… but I don't deserve your kindness. Every day, I wake up and just… wonder why I did such a horrid thing. Yes, I'm an assassin but… I'm the one who destroyed the last remaining guild in Remnant. I don't deserve anything… kindness, forgiveness…"

"But you deserve to live." Yor said gently. "Yes, what you did was horrible… and honestly, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't angry but… we all did horrible things to people. That comes with the territory of an assassin."

"Why are you… letting me live?"

"As I just said, you deserve to keep living."

"You… think I deserve a second chance?"

"That's up to you. After all, you admitted that you regret killing everyone. That's definitely a start."

Yor stood up. "Just think about it, okay?" She gave her a reassuring smile.

"There has to be another reason to your visit…"

"Oh, right… I'm sure you've heard of the Future Foundation."

"Yeah? …Let me guess, they scouted me because I'm an Ultimate Assassin."

"Yes."

"...Honestly, I don't trust myself working with anyone. I don't think anyone trusts me either."

"That's understandable. Do you have a scroll?"

"Yeah…? What about it? I replaced it after throwing the other away…" She mumbled as Yor went over to her scroll and put her number in, then handing it to Maki. "There, I added my number to yours. If you ever want to chat… I'll be there."

Yor walked out of the door, giving Maki a smile and then closed the door.

"Yor…" Maki teared up. "You're far too nice for your own good…"

"Did you kill her?" Akame asked.

"She's not worth killing. Let's go." Yor said.

"So… she's not coming with us to the Future Foundation?" Chelsea asked.

"She just needs some time."

End BGM

A few hours later, at the Future Foundation…

"It seems as if your scouting has paid off." Byakuya said.

"Indeed." Kyoko nodded. "A lot has already pledged their loyalty with the Future Foundation and wants to work with us."

"Maki is still a big question mark though, according to Yor."

"She has her reasons. Everyone does." Kyoko said and then walked off. "I'm going to go see if there's anyone else to scout out."

At the Toad Town Hospital…

Jade slowly opened her eyes. "Hmm…?"

"Hey dude."

Jade looked over to see Futaba playing on her Switch. She had just looked up and smiled. "Glad to see you're awake. How do you feel?"

"A bit drowsy but I'll live…" Jade said, noticing a sling over her arm along with bandages. "Oh…"

"Yeah, the doc told me to tell you that you have to wear that sling for about a week so it can fully heal from surgery."

"Yeah, that checks out…" Jade sighed. "Great, that means I can't work in the lab for about a week. I'm gonna be bored…"

"Don't worry." Futaba smiled, taking her other hand. "I'll be your other arm." She winked as the two leaned in, closing their eyes.

"I would say "get a room, you two", but I don't know where you'd go." A voice teased, interrupting their make out session as they looked to see Nyx leaning in.

"Oh, hey Nyx." Jade smiled as the twins and Iris walked in. "Hey guys… where have you been?"

"Sight seeing!" Yagami responded, and then pulled in Rantaro. "And brought a souvenir with us!"

"I'm a souvenir now?" Rantaro sweatdropped.

"Ah, you must be Rantaro that Iris mentioned to us before?"

"That's me!" Rantaro greeted. "Nice to meet ya." He looked to Futaba. "And who are you?"

"Futaba Sakura, I'm this egghead's girlfriend." Futaba smiled.

"Pleasure to meet ya!"

Meanwhile…

Chiaki sat down in a fetal position near a stream, tossing a small rock into it as it skipped a few times before sinking into the water as a Cheep Cheep and a Wishiwashi swam by.

"There you are." Hajime approached her, sitting down next to her. "You feeling okay? Normally you don't scream your head off like that."

"...If there's one thing I hate, it's… video game knockoffs." Chiaki mumbled.

"Oooooh, she had a lot of those in the store?"

"Yeah… I mean, to the average person on Remnant, those are the names of the video games. They're the real deal… but to an outsider like me? They're knock offs… and I also find it very strange that Digimon, of all things, is a knock off of the Pokemon games. Like seriously, Gun and Violence?! That's clearly Sword and Shield! Why couldn't it be named Pocketmon or Strokemon or… literally anything else? I dabble with Digimon games, but that was just so… UGH!"

"Ah, so that's what's bugging you?"

"And not only that… but are the games that I grew up with in my world considered knockoffs to the people of Remnant? Mario Galaxy, Kirby Air Ride, Metroid Prime 3, Street Fighter, Battletoads, Mortal Kombat, Need for Speed… are they all knockoffs?! I… I just don't know which one's real!"

"Oooookay…" Hajime wrapped his arms around her. "I think you're overthinking way too hard."

"I probably am…"

"Those games are real to the people of Remnant and our types of video games are real to us. If anything, nothing is truly a knock off. Did you hear Tsumugi calling the Master Sword you summoned a knock off?"

"No, but she was probably thinking it… wonder what the Master Sword is like in "The Mythos of Cassandra", Oh wait… it's probably a Master Fork or a Master Spoon or-... wait, what's the Triforce in that game? A circle? A rectangle?! An octago-"

Hajime immediately silenced her by kissing her on the lips.

"...That was honestly the sweetest way to tell me to shut up…" She giggled as Hajime laughed.

Chiaki leaned her head into his chest, sighing. "You're right… I'm probably overthinking way too hard on this. I didn't think it affected me this bad."

"Ah, don't worry about it. It happens to the best of us." Hajime chuckled.

"I can't really fault Tsumugi… if it's real to her, then that's fine. I just… really wasn't prepared for it." She chuckled. "...I do find it strange that the anime here is very similar to ours though."

"Hey, they just got good taste."

Chiaki laughed. "Yeah…" She nodded.

"Heeeey, there you are!" Elfilin flew over as BB-8 rolled over as well, the latter promptly jumping into the stream and rolling back out to get the R2-D2 paint off of him.

"Had enough?" Chiaki teased with a giggle as Elfilin handed Chiaki a card. "Huh?"

"Tsumugi wanted me to give this to you."

"A business card?" She wondered as she took it. "Shirogane's Tailor-Made Apparels… huh."

"I guess that's her way of telling us to keep in touch." Hajime guessed.

"Yeah, probably." Chiaki nodded.

"So… you wanna spend the night at my place tonight?" Hajime asked, giving her a sly smile.

Chiaki smiled back. "Oh, absolutely~" She turned to BB-8. "BB-8, take Elfi back to the mansion. I'm gonna be having some alone time with him~"

BB-8 saluted and rolled off with Elfilin… but then stopped and turned around, beeping at the duo.

"Don't worry, we will!" Chiaki laughed as BB-8 rolled away. "...You still have it, right?"

"I'm not stupid." Hajime winked.

Elfilin floated away with BB-8. "...Protect them from what exactly?"

BB-8 chirped.

"Tell me when I'm olde- HEY! I'm a lot older than I look, thank you very much!"

Back with Kyoko…

"Let's see… hmm…" Kyoko rubbed her chin. "Ah! Ultimate… Ento… mologist…"

Gonta Gokuhara - Wolf Faunus - Semblance: Animal Copy

"Jackpot." Kyoko smirked as she started to look into him. "Okay… works for a company that specializes in catalouging animals… ever since the fusion with the Mushroom Kingdom and connected to other worlds, it sends its researchers to other worlds to catalogue the animals there… neat."

Kyoko pulled out her phone and called them up.

"Hi, this is Kyoko Kirigiri of the Future Foundation. I'm an Ultimate Detective, and those who work in the Future Foundation tend to have an "Ultimate" title to them to reflect their talents. I couldn't help but notice someone by the name of Gonta Gokuhara. Is he there right now? Uh-huh… oh, he's been gone for several weeks? Uh-huh, I understand. Hey listen, when he returns, you think you can contact me when he returns? I'd like to arrange a meeting with him. Great, perfect. My number is-"

Aoi walked in with a box full of doughnuts. "Oh!"

"Great, sayonara." Kyoko put her phone up. "Oh hey Hina. bringing me some doughnuts?"

"Yeah. What was that about?"

"Oh, did some digging on an Ultimate Entomologist."

"Ooooh!" Aoi smiled. "Anybody else?"

"Nothing that I know currently. Unless… give me a sport and I'll see if I can find someone."

"Oh! Uh… ultimate soccer player."

Kyoko typed that in. "Nobody so far."

"Ultimate football player?"

"Nope."

"Um… oh! Ultimate tennis player!"

"Jackpot!" Kyoko smiled.

"Oh! Oh! Who'd you get?"

"Someone by the name of… Ryoma Hoshi."

17,000 plus words later... knew this would be a long one but I didn't think it'd be that long.

Ibuki: Woo, New Ultimate friends!

Deadpool: Hell yeah!

Anywho, now THAT was an awesome Nintendo Direct! So many amazing stuff! Pikmin 4 looked cool, even though I'm not much of a Pikmin fan. The Ice Pikmin and that cute little puppy was cool though. Game Boy and GBA for the NSO, I was wondering when they'd show up. Metroid Prime Remastered looks AMAZING, HOLY CRAP! New Professor Layton... eh, I'm not one for puzzle games, so that series never interested me. How is it?

Ibuki: Yoshi's Island!

Oh yeah, Yoshi's Island for Wave 4 in Mario Kart 8 AND Birdo as a new character? I was wondering if they'd add more characters. Oh yeah, Tears of the Kingdom looking spectacular as always. The rest of the games looked neat. All in all, a spectacular Direct!

Deadpool: Oi, Nintendo! Port my game to the Switch now! It's a gold mine!

*sweatdrops*

Ibuki: *shakes head with a chuckle*
