He snaps out of it looking at the bluish gray haired gem and greenish grey haired gem running to him

Steven - What do you mean he is gone?!
Jamie - Well it is what you heard. They were uhm tempering with his stuff and some explosion happened.
Steven - Any idea where he is?
Jamie - You tell me. From what Grerimar and Gremerald told me, he's gone in thin air.
Steven - Hmm... *sigh* one after another...okay for now let's prapre for the ball and then we'll try to search for him.
Jamie - Okay then. How is Spinel doing?
Steven - She's doing fine. I'm going to her right now...

Jasper and Ocean Jasper fgiht in a training platform
Jasper hits her on the head and Ocean Jasper hits back with her leg but Jasper blocks it
"C'mon is that the best you can do? Surely you can do better"
They continue fighting as Spinel watches from the upper audience, a bit bored until Steven arrived seconds later
Steven - Hey Spinel! Your favourite human-gem hybrid is here.
Spinel - Uh huh, sure. Keep telling yourself that curly head.
Steven - I thought I'd drop by and see how's it going with you and the quartzes. What do you think of them?They're pretty great huh?
Spinel then started to sweat nervously "Y-yeah ...they have umm...BIG personalities...really big"
Steven *sweet innocent boy* That's great! I knew you'd get along with them!
Spinel then hits him lightly in the shoulder

Sueprfan Quartz looked at her with such a face that she feelt like melting, not to menstion all of their muscles and abs...and bodies?

Steven - Heh heh sorry, but you do get along with 'em right?

Steven rubs the back of his head "Hey give it some time. Jasper takes a while to warm up... A really...REALLY long time.
Taking in his words, Spinel aslo remembers Jasper's words "I just want my ruby friends back. Rose , Amethyst an Ocean are really nice and all...but they aren't my friends like the rubies are with me"
On Arena
Ocean charges at Jasper, trying to hit her
But Jasper catches her punch mid-way as she throws Ocean over her to the floor
Ocean became dizzy for a moment as Jasper lectures her again
"C'mon you're going to be able to take down antoher gem if you keep getting kicked down-"
Ocean again tries it this time jumping really high and headign towards Jasper
For a moment there, her stance reminded Jasper of something she'd rather nto remember
Jasper felt like Ocean was switching back adn forth to her corrupted form that she hunted years ago
Jasper *scared* : -So...Easily...
Her vision was glitching as visions of corruption began to flood into her, making her immobile
This gave Ocean a chacne to tackle her down, turning the tables and slamming Jasprer into the floor this time
Ocean : Whoa, Jasper are you okay? S-sorry I think I got a bit carried away I-
She smacks Ocean's hand away "I'm fine..."
She stands up to continue "Let's get back to training..."

Spinel - Ha! She ain't a tough as she thinks she is.
Steven - hey come on, be nice! She's been through a lot.
Spinel - So did I, but at least I didn't come out like a wet sock. Jasper there is such a killjoy
Steven - She's just really serious about her assignments...Could you at least TRY to get along with her? She's not that bad when you know-
Spniel - I will...when she learns to shut her trap and stop being so cocky about being strong n' all that.
She then looks sparkly eyes at Steven "Ayways, enough about the quartzes. How's it going on with you and Connie? I heard she's going to some fancy place called "College"!"
Now it's Steven's tunr to sweat nervously " ...Uhh GREAT! Totally awesome hahahaha we are ...so close!...so close...
Before Spinel could press on the matter even further, the famethyst calls them
8XL : My Spinel!
They turn their heads to see the famethyst holding a yellow hologram transmitter in her hand "The diamonds have requested us to escort you for your appearance!"
Spinel - I'll catch up wtih you later Steven. It's good to talk to ya again. Really.
Steven - Same here. Now get going and get ready for tommorow. We have a long day ahead of us.
They waved their hands at each other as Spinel goes on her way

Looking around for clues, he stands up on the highest point in the place "Looks like I am in a forest somewhere"
He looks at below as the tower he was standing on had big clocks from all four sides.
"Clock tower? Hmm a bit damaged and still functions"
Snapping out of his thoughts he remembers that he isn't in beach city at all..."Okayyy...Where is this place again or what tiime am I in this time?"
I'd be honest Steven, Spinel and Jasper are all ticking time bombs and sooner or later they may blow up. And if unchained all at once? What kind of rioting maniac would like that to happen? Oops
