A Day After They Stopped the Weather
"You seem to be in a good mood." Medusa said.
"I don't know why, but I definitely feel warm and fuzzy after stopping the storm." Dry Bowser said.
"Warm and fuzzy for a walking skeleton? There's something I never thought I'd hear." Dimentio said.
"Hey, just because I was a massive dictator back in my era doesn't mean I didn't have a heart."
"Oh really? Name all the good things you've done in your time." Emperor Brr said.
"Well, let's see…" Dry Bowser started counting on his fingers. "Expanded my borders, killed Marcus Toadstool, expanded more of my borders by force, played ball with my heir, roasted alive anyone who dared to try to assassinate me in that five year war, conquered the seas, always sent my heir to bed at a reasonable hour, expanded even more of my borders, stopped a perpetual rainstorm… there's a lot of things I've done! I'm practically a good guy!"
Everyone sweatdropped, even King Boo raised an eyebrow.
"What? Being a tyrant is hard yet rewarding work! I was loved by all of my subjects!"
"Loved or feared?" Locus wondered.
"Bah, they only feared because of how imposing I was."
"I don't think that's what they only feared…" Medusa mumbled.
"You really put the "dick" in dictator." Felix said.
"If that means I did a great job, then I'll take that as a compliment!"
Felix sweatdropped. "Riiiiiight… a compliment…"
As they kept going, they would come across a massive rock wall that seemed impassable to climb that held a Warp Pipe.
"Alright, let's go in." Dry Bowser said as they walked into the warp pipe, while Acidtail sweatdropped.
"They really gotta accommodate Warp Pipes for larger dragons…" He mumbled as he noticed a ? Block nearby along with a sign.
"For those who feel they're too large to enter the Warp Pipe."
Acidtail lightly kicked it as a Mini Mushroom came out of it. He raised an eyebrow and chomped down, where he shrunk down to Dry Bowser's size.
Acidtail grimaced. "...I feel naked. I should have just flown around." He groaned as he walked into the Warp Pipe.
World 8-1: Underground Nature Reserve
BGM: Underground Forest Area (Kirby Super Star)
Everyone else popped out of the other side, finding themselves in a cavern that was filled to the brim with wildlife, including a light from above that acted like an artificial sun.
"Well, this is something you don't see every day." Dimentio mused.
"An underground forest-like area. Neat." Locus said.
"This shouldn't be physically possible." Felix said.
"And a walking skeleton is?" Locus pointed out.
"...Fair point." Felix nodded.
"A secret underground nature reserve… interesting." King Boo mused as he conjured up magic to put a reflector above his head to ward off the light.
As they started to walk off, they heard the sound of the Warp Pipe as they turned to see Acidtail coming out. "The dragon came out?" Emperor Brr asked.
"I'm surprised you didn't fly around!" Dimentio said before grinning mischievously. "Well, at least you're on our-"
"Finish that sentence and I'll melt your insides."
Dimentio sweatdropped. "Touchy…" He said as they turned around and walked off, where they would find several Geodude floating around, along with the rest of the line, the Aron Line, Noibat line, Zubat line, Numel Line, Bronzor Line, Torkoal, Diglett Line, Onix Line, Drilbur Line, Sandshrew Line, Gible Line, Absol, Eevee and its Eeveelutions and even a few Orthworm.
In the waters, they would see the Tympole Line, Barboach Line, Magikarp Line, Dratini Line, Remoraid Line, Piplup line, Lotad line, Arrocuda line, Corsola, and the Squirtle Line.
"A lot of Pokemon down here…" Medusa mused as they continued walking, then noticed several Wigglers, Biddybuds, Para-Biddybuds, Piranha Plants, Cheep Cheeps, Bloopers, Buzzy Beetles, Parabuzzies, some dark colored Yoshis, and Bramballs were going about their business as well.
"Definitely a nature reserve… but I wonder where they all came from…" Medusa wondered as they walked around, walking across a bridge as an underground waterfall crashed into the land as they saw some Feebas and Seaking swimming around while a few Magikarp raced each other over the waterfall with a few Buizel and Mudkip cheering them on.
They came across a grassy area where Stantler and Teddiursa roamed free along with several Pachirisu, Morpeko, Mareep and Gligar. A Snorlax lay on its back while a few Poochyena and Biddybud rested on its stomach, not that the Snorlax seemed to mind at all.
"They seem to be happy." Dry Bowser said.
"The hell are these things called again?" Felix wondered.
"Pokemon." Locus responded.
"Right, right." Felix nodded as they walked off while Acidtail looked warily at a few Ribombee.
"...What are you looking at?" He asked as one Ribombee narrowed its eyes and did a "I'm watching you" gesture, causing Acidtail to sweatdrop and walked away.
As they went along the grassy plains, they would soon come across a large lake that had Milotic swimming around along with some Deep Cheeps, Buzzy Beetles resting on a Lapras, a Donphan and some Phanpy drank some water from it and some Psyduck cannonballed into it.
However, as they walked past the lake, there was a small earthquake that startled the wildlife as they fled, where a gigantic Blooper emerged from the water.

"BLOOP BLOOOOOOP!"
BGM: A Powerful Enemy Emerges (Super Paper Mario)
Giant Enemy Blooper - Giant Blooper
"Looks like we got company!" Dry Bowser said as the Giant Blooper glared at them and swung its large tentacles at them, where they all avoided the attack as it proceeded to spray ink at the group.
Medusa responded by firing dark lasers at the Giant Blooper as Dry Bowser breathed fire, but the Giant Blooper went in the water to avoid it and then came closer to them by back handing them away as Dimentio quickly used a Thundaga spell to electrocute the Giant Blooper before it shook it off, throwing tidal waves at them before swinging its tentacles down to create shockwaves.
Felix and Locus quickly shot at the Blooper, only for them to realize their bullets bounced off of its body. "I've never seen a squid with a high defensive hide before!" Felix said as he activated his Chaos powers. "But can he deal with this!"
He quickly jumped into the air, pulling back his fist and delivering a mighty swing, hitting the Blooper in the eye.
"Bloooop!" The Blooper yelped before grabbing him with his tentacle, glaring at him before dunking him in the water, proceeding to slam him into the watery bed repeatedly as Dry Bowser jumped in and yanked its tentacle, tearing it off.
"Blo-yoooooow!" The Blooper cried as Felix emerged from the water with a growl as King Boo fired electricity and Emperor Brr unleashed a blizzard at him.
"RAAAAAAAAAAAY!"
Suddenly, a large Thunder struck the Giant Blooper, causing it to shriek before it fell limp.

"What the…?" Felix wondered.
"Are you fellers alright?" A voice asked as they turned to see a Monty Mole approaching them on a Galarian Rapidash with a Luxray beside them.
"Yeah, we're fine. It's just an ordinary Bloo-"
"That dag nabbed Blooper was at it again, eh?" The Monty Mole asked as he pulled out a walkie talkie. "Hey fellers, we got a code white again. Send in the Machamp and Conkeldurr!"
He put it away as everyone looked at him confused.
"Ah, yes. Come on, right this way. I'll explain on the way to our village." He said as he walked off with all of them looking at each other in confusion before they followed the Monty Mole.
Resume Underground Forest Area BGM
World 8-2: Crystal Mines
"Apologies for that darn Blooper." The Monty Mole said as they walked into some crystal mines as Carbink went about their days with some Mawile bodyguards to protect them from some sneaky Sableye. "Every day, he tends to get out of his cage and tend to disrupt the wildlife here. He's a little all over the place."
"Every day?" Dry Bowser asked.
"Yes sirree, that Blooper is one of a kind. We came across this big feller on an expedition and hauled it into this nature reserve. Apparently that perpetual storm did a number on the feller, so we hauled him in and nursed him back to health. Unfortunately, he thinks he's the alpha and proceeds to make a mess of things, but Luxray tends to keep him in line."
"Lux Lux."
"What's with all the Pokemon here?" Dimentio asked.
"Ah, yes. Over the years, we tend to find Pokemon abandoned by their trainers. They're either left alone or they've been abused. We can tell because their injuries are not from your average Pokemon. Yes sir, we can tell the different between animal and human wounds. Look at that Eevee right over there."
He pointed over to a furless Eevee, save for the head as it was curled up to a Flareon.
"Some whippersnapper thought it'd be a fun idea to rip all the fur out of the Eevee for fun just to see what it looked like. Unfortunately, the feller did so much damage, the hair couldn't regrow properly. It depends on Fire Type Pokemon just to keep himself warm."
"So this reserve is also for protection." Locus said.
"Indeed! When they're ready, some Pokemon will leave on their own, but that is a rarity because they feel much more at home due to our hospitality and our care for these creatures."
Dimentio frowned. "Something about this burns me up…"
"Have you considered using a blanket or something else to keep the little guy warm?" Emperor Brr asked.
"Unfortunately, there aren't enough blankets to go around. Not to mention some Fire Types accidentally burn the blankets to cinders. However, some Dubwool and Mareep are enough to warm the Eevee back up."
"Good to know." King Boo nodded as they continued traveling through the mines as they saw a Gallade and a Mawile going against some greedy Sableye while a Gardevoir protected some Carbink.
"Ah, here we are!" The Monty Mole turned to the right as they followed him, where they would see a whole underground city in front of them.
"Welcome to Monty Mole Plaza."

World 8-3: Monty Mole Plaza
BGM: Rescue Team Base (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX)
The group would see homes and farmland around them as the plaza square had a fountain with a marbled Monty Mole spitting out water as some Wishiwashi swam around with some Goldeen.
"You grow farmland down here?" Dry Bowser asked with intrigue.
"Indeed!" The Monty Mole nodded as they turned to see a group of Machamp and Conkeldurr hauling away the giant Blooper.
"Where are they taking that giant calamari anyway?" Felix wondered as they walked around town as some Combee flew around.
Several Monty Moles took a quick look at the outsiders before shrugging it off and going about their day. They would also see a giant fortress in front of them while Monty Moles went about their business with some friendly Pichu and Pikachu running around as an Alolan Raichu surfed by.
"Allow me to introduce you to our castle."
"That's a castle? Looks more like a fortress." Dry Bowser said.
"We Monty Moles take pride in our architecture." He said as they walked through the gates where more farmland grew as some Azurill bounced along their tails while some Marill and Azumarill watered the land.
They went inside the castle where they would see that the architecture was rocky, yet smooth as can be as they approached the throne room.
"Sire, we have company."
The Monty Mole turned around, sporting a brown beard as he wore a purple robe and a pendant around his neck.
"Greetings, travelers. I see you have braved the harsh environment from the Coast of the Abandoned." He spoke. "I am the Monty Mole Elder. Make no mistake, I am no king. We just built a castle out of inspiration from beyond our borders."
"Then why are you wearing such royal attire?" Dry Bowser asked.
"It is more symbolic. It symbolizes the one who is ruling this Monty Mole civilization. And this pendant holds something special." He said. "You see, this civilization started millennia ago, but make no mistake. We all know what goes on in the above world. Wars, resets, some weird blue gooey poison that poisoned some Pokemon… we've seen it all. And we know who you are… Emperor."
"Ah, so you know who I am?" Dry Bowser asked.
"Yes. You are the one who started a war with Marcus Toadstool. We are historians… and we know everything that is going on as we speak." He said. "We are also aware that mere moments after Jade Toadstool took command, she ruined your day."
Dry Bowser growled under his breath. "You dare mention that name…"
The Elder chuckled. "Yes, and then you came back to life after four teenagers destroyed the guardian of your tomb, followed by the Koopa Troop accidentally dropping a 1-Up on you."
"My Koopa Troop is still going strong even to this day." Dry Bowser nodded with a smirk.
"Do you have anything that can protect you against him?" Dimentio asked.
"Actually, I do." The Elder held up the pendant. "This ancient civilization has granted their power within this pendant. The Monty Moles back in the day were able to produce large earthquakes that would swallow anyone who dared oppose them. They actually shaped this underground kingdom, and they made sure to create fissures that would make invasions impossible. They then transferred their powers within this pendant as they got older. Only the family living in the castle are only able to use this pendant."
"Show me the power." Dry Bowser said.
"Very well. Allow me to give you a demonstration." He said as he activated the pendant. The ground underneath them shook violently before the ground opened up beneath them. Before they knew it, Dry Bowser was swallowed within the earth, then the fissures closed up.
"Goodness gracious, he buried him alive!" Dimentio exclaimed.
"...Okay, that is fucking SWEET." Felix said as a hand burst out of the dirt as Dry Bowser climbed out of it.
"What was that for!"
"Consider that karma for your army's invasion in the City of Jannah. Some of our Monty Moles were there when you invaded. Now we're even."
Dry Bowser gave him a "Why you little" growl where Medusa and Locus had to hold him back.
"Curious question. How can you grow farmland in a place like this?" Dimentio asked.
"Ah! I'm so glad you asked." He said as he walked off and came back with a cloth. He pulled the cloth away to reveal a soft yellow herb. "This… is known as the Growth Herb. We grow this that makes the farmland turn to paste and make it extremely fertile. We have successful harvests every year!"
End BGM
Dry Bowser rubbed his chin in thought. "I want you to make an herb that has an opposite effect. Make the farmlands barren to where it causes extreme famine to kick in where it'll make it easy for me to take over Remnant! From this point on, this entire civilization works for me."
"Fa-Famine?" The Elder looked at him in horror. "Oh no no no, we can't do that. We're a peaceful civilization. Making people starve all through Remnant is the opposite of that. We will not go through with it!"
"Allow me to give you some motivation."
Dry Bowser grabbed the Monty Mole that was on the Galarian Rapidash and threw him to the ground. "Ooomph!" The Monty Mole grunted as Dry Bowser unleashed his Oblivion Fire on him.
"Oh goodness!" The Elder exclaimed in horror as the Monty Mole screamed, being burnt alive as the Rapidash and Luxray looked on in shock until the Monty Mole disappeared.
"Do you have a family? Where are they? Because I won't hesitate to burn their hides until you comply!"
The Elder clenched his fists, closing his eyes. "...Very well. We'll make an herb for such an occasion."
"Good."
Dry Bowser walked forward, nudging him on the way by.
"Now we're even." He said. "I'll have Dimentio check in on you time and time again to see how progress is made. Pleasure doing business!" They walked out.
"Rrrrgh… Emperor Bowser, you might as well have made a grave mistake…" The Elder growled.
They all walked out as they would soon find a warp pipe near the village. They walked toward it and proceeded to go inside of it… and would pop out right into a lab.
"Oh, hey, looks like we got a lab!" Dimentio said.
Locus picked up the first note to read, clearing his throat.
"I cannot believe my eyes. You know how Ztars have strange properties compared to a regular Power Star? Well, take the strange properties of a Ztar and crank it up to eleven! I have found a bigger Ztar that makes regular Ztars look puny compared to it.
I've decided to call it the Grand Ztar and hoo boy, this one is a beast. There were originally eight areas in this place… however, the Grand Ztar interacted with the Zuteregeon and created something… otherworldly. Like it was straight out of a sci-fi/fantasy book. It's so… life like.
Time flows about the same as ours, yet space feels different. Like, we're talking floating islands different. I didn't think that was possible! Not only that, but apparently, it makes any of my wishes come true. Anything I thought of? It became reality. It's not just mere fiction.
I call it the Weird Zone… although, Myra has coined another term that makes a lot more sense. I'll let her explain it.
Watch out, Elvis Gadd… I'm going to make you soil your pants so hard, that you will give me that prize that all scientists tend to receive. I worked hard for this! Hope you're ready! - V"
Felix picked up the next note.
"Viola… what the hell did you do? I've said time and time again that Ztars aren't meant to be taken lightly… but now… now you created another world beyond the Mushroom Kingdom. Flying Bloopers? Cheep Cheeps that can live on land? This isn't natural… I… I can't fix this. No matter how hard I use my magic to try and set things right, it counteracts it.
No no… it's okay. She's just being creative. I'm sure she means well. She just accidentally made it so that my magic can't counteract it. It's totally fine! Of course, the Shadow Queen is getting more and more apprehensive, but I'm sure everything's going to be okay. After all, it's just Viola and her odd quirks. Everything is going to be okay, I can feel it.
Yeah. We're still best friends… haha, yeah, not like I'm just a tool for her wild experiments. Those times when she used me as a guinea pig? I can forgive that. There were no other volunteers, so I stepped up… albeit cautiously since she can be a bit of a wild case, but that's okay! She means well.
But anyway, she calls this the Weird Zone, but I don't think that'll roll off the tongue. I actually thought of something else that actually blew her away and praised me for it.
There's still good in Vi. I can sense it.

Ibuki: THE MINUS WORLD?! As in the glitchy mess that it is when you do that infamous glitch in the first Super Mario Bros Game?! Holy crap!

Oh yeah! Now uh, how's the ScarVio DLC been treating y'all? So far, I'm having a hell of a blast. I haven't fully completed the story yet, but it's really good! Ogerpon is straight up adorable! Carmine... can kiss my ass, screw her! ...Is what I would say until midway where she has a change of heart but still.
And, oh yeah, we got a Nintendo Direct tomorrow. I refuse to believe anything that Pyoro has leaked out, despite him being right about a new 2D mario and an SNES game. I'm taking all of that with a grain of salt.
That said, the only thing we know about in the Direct is potentially an announcement for Wave 6 of Mario Kart 8. My predictions? Uh... Metroid Prime 2. I was wrong last time but who cares?
