After They Left the Underground Monty Mole Kingdom

"The Minus World?" Dimentio asked with intrigue. "Why, I've heard of a legend regarding this place, yet… I thought it was just a myth. To see this in person is… incredible."

"I was expecting more… water and flying Bloopers." Medusa said. "Maybe it'll be later on down the line."

"Regardless, we have to go straight through the Minus World." Dry Bowser said. "It may get weird in there."

"Please, we've been through so much, I doubt this will be any different." Felix said.

"Let's just get it over with." Locus said.

"Onward! To whatever is in store for us in the Minus World!"

"Viola…" King Boo mused. "Now what was she like again?"

They walked forward, only to be greeted by a claw coming out of the ground.

"Is that a tentacle?" Dry Bowser wondered.

"Nah, it looks more claw-like." Dimentio said. "Though I can see how you'd come up with that."

"A claw-like tentacle perhaps?" Emperor Brr suggested. "...A Tentaclaw?"

"Well, whatever it is…" Dry Bowser yanked it out and burnt it to a crisp. "It's nothing!" He said as they walked off.

Meanwhile, at Toad Town…

Roxas walked around town. "Man, haven't had a nap like that in a long time…" He said, stretching as he heard a scream nearby. He turned to see a few Toads backing away from a Tentaclaw that looked like it was about to eat them alive.

Roxas kept walking… before he stopped and turned his head. "Wait a minute… I know that nuisance from anywhere!" He said, quickly summoning his Keyblades as he quickly ran ahead and sliced through it with ease, destroying it.

"Oh, thank you!" The Toad smiled. "That thing just came out of nowhere!"

"No problem." Roxas smiled as the Toads walked off as he turned around. "If one of them's here, then a lot more is likely to follow. Alright, where is that blasted thing?" He asked as he ran off.

Back with Dry Bowser and co…

"And here we go!" Dry Bowser exclaimed.

BGM: Pack Attack (Crash 2)

World 9-1: Your Space May Vary

They crossed the border into the Minus World, noticing the sky had changed from blue to purple, as flowers bloomed upside down, the trees were limbless while the leaves looked papier mache, rocks were nothing but glass.

Platforms levitated above them as ? Blocks were upside down. Goombas swam around like it was just a normal day for them as Koopas were walking upside down. Cheep Cheeps bounced on water as if it were gelatin.

"I think we just walked into a weird dimension." Locus said.

"Well, Viola did say she coined the term "Weird Zone"..." Dry Bowser mused.

"This is truly fascinating." Medusa said as they jumped up onto a platform, only to discover that gravity was wonky as they slowly descended to the platform.

"Goodness me, will the surprises ever end? This is amusing!" Dimentio chuckled.

They continued to space jump between platforms until they landed softly where they saw a giant pit. They looked down to see the pit was filled with Zutergeon. They also saw a spring nearby as they each (minus King Boo) jumped on it and launched high into the sky.

It took around five minutes until they safely landed on the other side, although Dimentio simply teleported while King Boo simply floated across. Once they regrouped, they headed toward some Mushroom platforms with Cheep Cheeps casually walking on the ground as flying Bloopers went about their day.

One Cheep Cheep spotted them and spat out ink while a Blooper just bounced around. They all looked at one another before Dry Bowser roasted them alive as they jumped between mushroom platforms… and then the wind started blowing and pushed them back a bit.

"Whoa! Okay, this came out of nowhere!" Felix said.

"Doesn't surprise me, I've heard some places in the Lost Levels had strong winds." Medusa said.

"Ha! This is nothing compared to the winds in the Coast of the Abandoned!" Dry Bowser said.

"Easy for you to say as you're not lighter than air!" King Boo grumbled.

"Shall we attach a string to you and fly you like a kite?" Dimentio asked, which made King Boo give him a threatening glare. "...Touchy!"

They all jumped off the Mushroom Platforms once the winds died down as they then came across a large body of water.

World 9-2: Gelatin? Slime? A Secret Third Thing?

"Hmm…" Emperor Brr dipped his foot into the water, where he felt himself go under. "Mmmph!" He grunted as everyone dove in after him.

"I see it's normal water here!" King Boo said.

"...The oxygen levels here are… higher." Locus said. "You can practically breathe underwater."

"For how long?" Felix wondered.

"We'll find out." Locus said as they swam through the water, but a few yards later, they would feel the water start to heat up, forcing them to swim up although Dry Bowser stayed behind.

"Wimps." He said as he kept swimming until the water started to turn… pink? "What in…?"

He immediately started to laugh uncontrollably as a fishing hook came down and latched onto him as he was pulled up by Medusa.

"Apparently we went from normal water, to boiling water to… laughing gas water." Dimentio said. "Although, I think Laughing Liquid would be more appropriate."

"Pepto bismol would suffice too…" Felix said.

"Just ha-ha-how far does this-hehehehe-lake go? WHY CAN'T I STOP LAUGHING?!"

"Pretty far, if I'm being honest. We're gonna have to be on our toes." King Boo said. "...Or lack thereof in my case."

They went forward on the boat that Dimentio had made as they traversed through the pink water. A few giggles between members escaped their lips as some of the fumes from the water entered their noses.

Eventually, the boat started to slow down until it came to a crawl as they looked down to see the water was blue, yet had a slimy look to it. Medusa reached down and touched the water, before pulled back in disgust.

"It's slime!"

"I'll take that over the Laughing Liquid anyway." Dry Bowser said as several Cheep Cheeps swam around the slimy water without any hassle as they continued on until the water turned silver. In fact, the boat turned into iron and turned everyone else into iron as well.

"Could this be?" King Boo wondered. "I've only heard this in passing… yeah, this is Magnetic Water. The moment it touches something, it grabs a hold of it and spreads all over in a flash. It's highly non-lethal, but it gets incredibly itchy… or so I'm told."

"How do you get this off? I can't peel it off!" Emperor Brr said.

"Good question! I have no idea." King Boo said as they pressed on, and when they finally got to land, they saw a waterfall up ahead that was coming off of a floating platform. In fact, there was no way around the waterfall as it was covering the scenery up ahead.

They walked through the waterfall, which in turn, caused the Magnetic Water to wash off of their bodies as the Psycho Piranha shook its leaves dry.

Once they went through the waterfall, they would come across a more mechanical looking area.

World 9-3: Cybernetics

"Cybernetics… truly, this Viola's imagination went wild." Dimentio said.

"She probably got inspired by the City of Jannah with its advanced technology." Medusa guessed as they walked around, seeing some cybernetic Lakitus fly by along with some robotic Buzzy Beetles.

They even noticed the sky went from purple to gray as they traversed through the mechanical area, seeing more floating platforms with some robotics attached to it. In fact, there was one platform that was walking on cybernetic legs.

"Soooo… Weird Zone or Minus World?" Dimentio asked.

"I think both can apply." Emperor Brr said as they continued on, coming across a village filled with robotic Hammer Bros, Coin Coffers and Biddybuds. A few Robot Bros raised an eyebrow at them but didn't pay them much mind as they continued on.

"If we ever come across Viola, I wish to ask some questions… like of all things, why a cybernetic area?' Dry Bowser asked.

"That's a big "if"... considering it's been centuries. I doubt they're alive." Medusa said.

"Their descendants probably are around though." Dry Bowser said as they climbed some platforms that caved in due to the weight, but would retain their original positions once they got off.

They walked through a cliffside with some mechanical Paragoombas flew by with some mechanical Paratroopas. One Paratroopa scanned them before shrugging it off and flew away as they continued walking on the cliffside until they hopped off, the gravity making them land gently as they walked through another village, none of them paying attention to the group.

"I wonder what the story is behind these people." Locus said.

"Eh… probably some folk who wanted to be genetically enhanced. Maybe. I dunno!" Felix shrugged as they exited out of the village with a few curious mechanical Monty Moles but they went about their day.

World 9-4: We're Gonna Need Bigger Hedgeclippers…

All of them walked through a clearing with grass, flowers and rocks that were mechanical at best.

At that moment, several Tentaclaws came out and surrounded the group, looking ready to devour them as the ground shook underneath them as they saw a massive creature rise out of the ground.

BGM: Fight and Away (Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days)

The creature had four thorny like legs attached to a monstrous purple bulb that seemed to have eyes. Underneath the bulb was a large coffin with a Heartless symbol up front. There was a green eye poking out of the hole of the coffin.

Mutated Parasite - Malicious Leechgrave

"Ah, a Heartless, is it?" Dimentio mused. "Judging by that green eye, it seems as if Calasmos has a hold of it."

"Bah, this doesn't look so tough!" King Boo smirked.

Dry Bowser flashed his claws. "Alright, let's cut this thing down to size!" He said as the Tentaclaws looked directly at them, as if they were hungry for a meal.

Acidtail landed on the ground as he was flying above them with a snarl, not to mention he made himself bigger after he had enough of being small and went back to get himself hit by a flying Blooper.

A Tentaclaw eagerly looked at Acidtail and immediately lunged, only to get disintegrated by his Zuteregeonous coat. The other Tentaclaws looked at Acidtail before they decided to turn to face the others, only to get destroyed easily.

Leechgrave was having none of it as the coffin opened up as two large ghost hands came out and launched a Kathwack at them, which hit King Boo head on. He blinked as he looked at his nubby hands.

"Huh. I don't feel different." He shrugged before shooting the Heartless with fireballs as Dry Bowser breathed fire alongside Acidtail, striking the Malicious Heartless as it fell over stunned as Dimentio flew in and slashed the coffin before he jumped back, snapping his fingers as pillars of light rose out from underneath it.

The Leechgrave rose up again, calling upon its Tentaclaw brethren… only to get slightly annoyed when they were immediately taken care of. It used Kathwhack again, this time hitting Dry Bowser.

"Heh, that tickled!" Dry Bowser smirked as Leechgrave proceeded to unleash a powerful Kaboomle that knocked them away, but DImentio used Curaga on them as Medusa snapped her fingers as giant snakes rose from the ground and bit down on the ghostly hands, which caused Leechgrave to flinch and tried to shake them off while both Felix and Locus proceeded to shoot at the giant plant Heartless.

Leechgrave proceeded to spread poison from the top of its bulb, shooting them with poisonous pollen pores but Dimentio put up reflective barriers to send them back… not that it did anything to the Heartless as Acidtail breathed fire again, engulfing the Heartless as Dry Bowser jumped up and punched the bulb hard enough to knock it off of its legs as it crashed into the ground as Emperor Brr proceeded to snap his fingers as an iceberg rose up from underneath and impaled the Heartless.

Once the iceberg disappeared, the Heartless got back up as it tried to unleash another Kathwack, but one of the snake heads took the hit and disappeared, only for another to show up and grabbed a hold of it as Dimentio ran ahead and slashed it a few times before striking it with a Firaza spell, and then Dry Bowser finished it off with a powerful fire punch that caused its heart to fly away.

"You should have let Dimentio finish it off." Medusa said. "Heartless are permanently destroyed with the Keyblade. If someone else does it without one, it'll simply come back no matter what."

"Bah, let it have its petty revenge. It'll mean nothing when it's destroyed once more." Dry Bowser waved it off as they walked away while Dimentio rubbed his head.

"I could've sworn Firaza would've finished it off…"

They walked through the plains as suddenly, the sky quickly turned blue again. "Oh, are we out of the Minus World?" Locus asked.

"I dunno… this feels like a false sense of hope." Felix said as he spotted a lab up ahead. "But… look what we have here."

"Excellent. Let's see what they have to say about this matter." Dry Bowser said as they walked into the lab, where they would see tools and machinery floating about in zero gravity.

"...Nope, we're not out of the Minus World." King Boo said as they headed toward the desk where a few notes floated about.

Locus immediately grabbed the first floating note as he started to read it.

"Goodness gracious, this Grand Ztar is incredible! The things it can do like turn water into fizzy drinks, organic lifeforms into mechanical robots and so much more! The whole science community had made simple robotic machines but this… this tops it immensely! I can't wait to see the looks on their faces.

Heck, it turned a whole lake into random effects. Laughing Liquid, magnetic water… though it depends on the day. Apparently there are some days where it turns poisonous, then gelatinous, then lava, then… well, who knows. It's completely random.

The Grand Ztar's spacial effects seems to have an effect on gravity… which, honestly, feels weird to jump and see yourself floating down gently. Myra thinks it's weird, yet I got used to it really quickly. Zero Gravity is pretty fun though… though it's a bit tricky to write in zero gravity. This note can't hold still.

Regardless, I can't wait to see what this will do next. I can just see Elvis Gadd wetting himself over this sheer awesome. He's gonna BEG for me to come back. Just watch… hahaha! Oooh, this whole mechanical thing is inspiring to say the least. I wonder if I can make a giant robot out of this… well, we'll just have to wait and see, that's for sure.

I wonder what else I can make my pet do for me… she's my test subject, after all. Her powers fascinate me. I want a taste of that power… - Viola."

"Oh right, now I remember. Viola was Myra's companion… she always had a bit of a weird vibe to her. To think that her true colors have been shown off here. Ugh, had I known sooner, I would've warned Myra…" King Boo mumbled.

"Eh, it happens." Felix said as he read the second note.

"This whole Minus World is so… odd yet amusingly weird. The gravity tends to make my stomach feel weird but Viola says I'll get used to it. Yeah, she's definitely right about that.

I must say, I'm genuinely surprised by her imagination. A whole area where she gave these residents cybernetic enhancements? Goodness me, it seems all too tempting to ask, yet I dunno, I like my organic body thank you very much.

I do have to question the whole lake thing though. Isn't that like… bad for the underwater ecosystem? Unless Viola probably thought of that and made sure the underwater life would thrive regardless of what's going on. If so, good for her!

It's a shame Elvis Gadd resorted to sexism… I would've loved to meet him and see his research papers in action. I've asked Viola what he was researching and all she said was "ghost busting" or something… I dunno, she kinda mumbled that part.

Regardless, I wonder what she'll do next with the Minus World. Apparently, she's gonna call the next area… World A? Odd. Yet somewhat inventive. This is exciting! - Myra"

"Exciting or nerve wracking?" King Boo wondered.

"We'll find out." Dry Bowser said. "Let's head out."

With a nod, they all walked off.

Back with Roxas…

"Hah… hah… okay, they seemed to have vanished…" Roxas said as he looked around. "Yet I feel like the worst is about to come. Because something tells me Leechgrave was struck down… and I don't think it was by a Keyblade."

He clenched his fists. "I'll have to be on my guard, just in case it comes back."
