Last time
"come on, come on, come on." June said to herself trying to get her car to start.
When the car finally started moving it was too late. The wind from the tornado was too powerful and started pulling them toward to it.
When the car started lifting off the ground bumblebee came to their rescue.
He grabbed onto the car and wouldn't let go as if his life depended on it. He wouldn't let go but his feet were another story. They started slipping it looked like bumblebee was playing tug of war with a tornado and was losing ground.
bee took some steps back and reached for a power pole when he got a hold of it and buzzed something
"He wants us to get into his hand." Raf said translating for June
They both carefully got out and started climbing into bee's hand.
Just then the power pole gave out and Bee had to take the car with both hands.
Raf safely got to bee but when June was about to jump the car ripped out from under her all that was left was the hood luckily she was holding on by the skin of her teeth.
Bee pulled into the Autobot base "um hey we're back." raf said
"and we are glad." Ratchet replied
When mom got out, bee transformed into bot form. I ran up to mom and asked "are you ok?"
"I will be," June said "Jack." June started
"Mom." I tried saying something but mom stopped me with a hug.
I looked at me "I know me too" then went back to giving me a hug. "but you're grounded till you're thirty." then changed her mind "Twenty-five."
"But mom?" i started but was stopped again
"Fine, you can still go on missions." mom replied to me "your just like your father." she said the me and mom walked up to the catwalk "World leaders are classifying this strange weather phenomenon as a global emergency." The news reporter said
"Globe." mom repeated shocked
"And scientists believe that this phenomenon is somehow connected to the planetary alignment." The news reporter continued.
At that moment agent Fowler showed up "what have you learned prime and you better not blow smoke up .." Then he realized someone else was there "oh nurse darby, what a nice surprise."
"Special agent Fowler." June replied
"I called Joe HQ and they said it wasn't cobra." i said and unicron was being strangely quit
"We have learned that as with the so-called magma from the volcano these earthquakes originated far below the earth's crust, from the earth's core itself in fact." Ratchet said
"Quakes don't start there Do they? Fowler asked
"Not normally they start at the tectonicWhat kind of vehicle plates." i said
"Tiny tremors rising and falling at a consistent pattern almost like a '' Then ratchet recognized the wave pattern "by the Allspark if I convert these data points to audioAll right files.
"What, what is it?" Agent Fowler said what we all were thinking.
"Shhh listen." Ratchet said As the two data files became one you could clearly hear a cybertronian's heartbeat.
"That sounds like a heartbeat." I said
"How is that possible for there to be a heartbeat, the heart to pump blood when there is nothing inside the earth to pump except..?" mom asked
"The blood of Unicron." Raf interrupted, scared As if I could see the being of pure chaos opening his purple eyes "I have awakened." unicron said slowly. The voice alone gave me a headache.
"ok hold on you mean to tell me somethings living down there inside the planet."Miko asked
"I fear that the earth's core is not made of magma as earth's science believes but of dark energon." Optimus said
"and if we're dealing with a spark then Unicron is the rising darkness that the prophecy foretells ." Ratchets said scratching his chin
"Ok, so how do we stop this thing from rising?" Fowler asked
"I am not a thing you parasite!" unicron yelled with his voice ringing in my head.
I started holding my head. 'Ok ok keep it down, would you, I'm the only one who can hear you.' i said
"Oh right." Unicron replied
Mom walked over to me "Jack are you ok."
"Yeah." I replied, "I think I need to lay down." walking off into the back I closed my eyes and started meditating but I was teleported someplace else.
the volcano let off some more smoke as a dark presence spoke " who would dare speak to me?"
Megatron got down on to one knee and replied "your servant most humble Megatron "gesturing to himself "leader of the Decepticons and your very herold, the one who wield the dark energon which binds us together, to awaken you once again, the prophecy has been for filled" then he got to his feet "it is only the beginning of what we will accomplish together for you, shall rule this planet and all that walk upon it through me."
"prideful fool." Unicron said Megatron's eyes went wide "How dare you think yourself capable of summoning my life force" then the dark presence of Unicron got face to face "I rise! because I have deemed it my time!"
"Master, I didn't mean to overstep." Megatron apologized
"Silence worm" than the dark presence of Unicron stood to his full height "I have no need of your lowly assistance." With that said "I will not have a herold that so easily bows before me."
Megatron got down on his knees and begged "please my lord I exist only to serve you."
Unicron paused for a second "what's this I sense the tent of primus."
"That is Optimus, the last of the primes." Megatron said "our sworn enemy."
"You confess loyalty to me yet allow a disciple of primus to live." Unicron said in anger
"I will destroy him for you, Optimus screams will be heard for you." Megatron said
"I grow tired of you prattle surely if you had the power to destroy this prime you would have done so already I... will... deal... with him myself." Unicron said then the dark rescinded back to where it came from.
"Ratchet this epicenter is consistent with the finding with the others, its terrain is rich in orb." Optimus said
:"so what does it tell us?": Fowler asked over the comm
"It follows that the natural metals in your earth would be extensions of Unicron, his limbs if you will." Ratchet answered
"So he did his morning stretch which is why these quakes happened." June tried to explain but was not for sure herself
Ratchet's computer started beeping "Optimus I'm detecting a swell in Unicron's spark activity." ratchet said
"Rest assured, I will proceed with caution." optimus said
I came out of the meditation and ran back to the command center "where's optimus!" i yelled
"Looking at the epicenter of an earthquake." Arcee replied "why?"
"Unicron is going after optimus!" i yelled
Then a second later a sound of rocks moving, then out of the rock face came a face of his own. "Unicron the chaos bringer." I replied, backing up.
"Good." unicron said "you remember me."
"Hard to forget the guy talking in my head." i replied
"Jack what's going on." arcee said bring on her blasters.
"Arcee, Optimus needs team prime." I replied keeping an eye on unicron.
"I would listen to him." unicron said
"But he's unicron." arcee replied
"Arcee go, I'll handle unicron." I said, pulling out my sword as ratchet opened a groundbridge and team prime ran through.
Unicron let out a laugh "that's what i like to hear, you never even asked me why i chose you."
"Because I have dark and light energon in my vains." i replied
"Well you're not wrong but if that's all the dark energon would have destroyed you." unicron replied "but it's your last nightmare that made me choose you."
"Are we going to fight or talk?" i asked
"Fight." unicron said "but let's make this even." He turned into a rock pile and formed into a person in all black with a blood red mask with two horns and a wide smile painted on it with pointed teeth. It had black detail lines around the eyes and horns but the eyes were purple with a sword and mace in his hands.
We charged and once we met we slashed at each with our sword and once, twice each time we blocked each other till we got into a sword lock "come on boy, the shadow can put up better a fight." he brought his mace around and sent me flying back but i swing around and throw six kunai and they hit his shoulders and his arms "come on boy, you killed hundreds of people surely you can do better." he didn't even care take them out.
"Shut up!" I yelled as I landed. I dashed at him and got in a swordlock and a second later I kicked him into the wall "leave my nightmares in the past."
"Your past makes you who you are." unicron said standing up "and your nightmares gives me strength."
I started pacing back and forth "What do you want me to say?!" i yelled "everytime i close my eyes, i see that family destroyed and my hands soaked in blood of the innocent and it's all because i couldn't resist the shadow, all because I resist… the hatred for someone that killed my friend" just than i was hit with some flashbacks
"I will not have a herold that so easily bows before me."
"By the maker you're just like my brother, you know that." unicron replied, "I'm more than just chaos, you know."
"My brother said the same thing when I asked him," unicron said but he stopped talking.
I came out of it and looked to him "you wanted something and he wouldn't give it … you wanted a son didn't you."
"All i wanted was someone for me to love and care for" unicron replied "but my brother in all his wisdom told me no he said i was chaos and destruction someone like me does not deserve a son of my own." he said "all i wanted was a little bit of light in my darkness is that too much to ask for."
"Well then why don't we be a little rebellious." I said
"What do you mean?" Unicron asked and this time when he attacked it wasn't as strong. I blocked the sword and rolled under his legs and cut the back of his legs but it healed a second later "I wasn't kidding when I said your last nightmare gives me strength, you need to accept what happened."
"Accept." I replied, "I buried them." standing up.
"But you haven't accepted what happened." unicron replied "there is a reason the shinigami chose you."
"Because I couldn't…." I replied but was cut off by unicron "wrong boy, you know the value of life and the difference between leaving for love and for greed."
It was like all the fight left me "but my last mission… I killed them, sure I couldn't control it but it was my hands that did it."
"Then fight me like the shadow would." unicron said "it's the only you'll win."
"Fine then." I replied "if we're done playing around then." i pulled out a detonator and pressed the button and the kunai blew up sending him flying back a few feet i ran at him he swung his mace around but i rolled under it and planted a kunai in each of his feet and jumped on to the wall and used it as a springboard i brought out a kunai cutting his arm deep enough to make it useless I said besides unicron "you may look like me." I said, "But there's something you don't know about my body."
"What's that boy?" Unicron said
"You look like me." I whisper "that also means you have my weakness." I kicked him square in the back right below his shoulder blades, paralyzing him. I brought out my sword across his neck and a kunai at his heart."You have my memories as the shadow, but I know me inside and out."
"The only way to stop me is to kill me, shadow." unicron said
"If you would have said that four years ago." I replied "that wouldn't even have been a question… but now." I pulled the kunai and sword away "but that's not who i am now." I started walking away.
But unicron wasn't letting me go that easily and brought out a kunai and was about to stab me but i spun around and throw a senbon needle right in the middle of his chess where chest his heart would be "tsk tsk unicron i'm crazy not stupid." I took a couple steps forward
"Do you honestly think a simple senbon needle will stop me?" unicron said
"A simple one, no." I replied "but that senbon needle had a poison that could eat through arachnid's webbing, what do you think it would do to a human body? You won't win, you know that right."
"We'll see boy we'll see."unicron said than turned to dust
:"it is rather ironic considering our last encounter if memory serves me correct the last time we met you tried to extinguish my spark.":
:"That is very much still in play.": Optimus replied
:"Good I wouldn't expect anything less however, I have a proposal.": Megatron said then walked off a little thinking about something :"join me in defeating our shared enemy Unicron the chaos bringer.":
Ratchet laugh ": absurd Unicron is evil incarnate, if Megatron was to pick any side why would it be ours.:"
"I'M CHAOS AND POWER INCARNATE NOT EVIL!" unicron yelled
'Again I'm the only one that can hear you.' I yelled back holding my head
"Oh right, sorry." unicron replied
Optimus replied "Because Megatron's pride would never allow anyone other than himself to conquer this world."
"You know me all too well, Optimus." Megatron said
"You lead an army of cons. Why come to us?" Bulkhead said,
"Because this particular endeavor requires something outside the realm of my command, the power of a prime." Megatron said, talking about Optimus.
Bulkhead laughed then said "Then I guess we don't need you."
"On the contrary Optimus may be the only one who can defeat Unicron but I remain the only one who can guide you to him. Unicrons lifeblood runs through me, only I can hear his thoughts and anticipate his movements."
'He is not the only one that can hear his thoughts.' i thought
"Hey, I'm not that bad." unicron said
'Say for the guy who feeds on my nightmares.' i replied
"You're still focused on that." unicron said
"Hey um, jack." raf said walking up to me, i looked to him "what, what did he mean by your last nightmare.
I closed my eyes and had flashes of that day of a house burning and i watched it, i opened my eyes "i'll tell you later, it's not a story i wish to tell twice." i replied
"Optimus our past alliance Autobot, Decepticon does not matter as long as Unicron still lives." megatron said
Ratchet slammed his fist on the computer and yelled with anger fully in his voice "The past always matters."
scene change back with the rest of the Autobots.
"A truce between the Autobot and the Decepticon. How long do you expect us to believe that will last?" Optimus asked
"Only as long as it's mutually beneficial." Megatron replied
"And when our proposed shared mission is over." Optimus said
"I will conquer this planetf my way." Megatron said
For the first time in this conversation I laughed and said "i would like to see you try Megatron, if team prime can't stop you, i know the joe's will."
"Brutal honesty from a Decepticon." Arcee said a little surprised
"Siding with the lesser of two evils is still siding with evil." Ratchet said, still angry.
"We don't have a choice." i replied walking up to him
"There's always a choice, snake." ratchet said
"Ratchet, it's megatron or unicron." I replied "sometimes you're only left with bad calls."
"Do you think you have witnessed the full power of Unicron he has yet to fully awaken? Those foot soldiers were nothing more than a taste. With each passing moment the bringer of chaos evolves, mutating earth from the inside out. What we see now is nothing but a prelude of the upper devastation his rising will cause on this world." Megatron said
"Like your quest for power destroyed Cybertron." Arcee said
"Make no mistake, this time there will be a planet left for me to rule." Megatron replied
"that prideful fool." unicron replied "to believe he could conquer this world, a planet formed from chaos, how ridiculous."
'Now, that I agree with you on.' i replied
"Even if we agree Unicron is all the way down in the planet's core, how would we get down there? drive." Bulkhead said
"There is only one way." Optimus said
":Absolutely not groundbridgeing into space or on a train is hard enough but making a blind jump inside of a sentient being, besides direct exposure to that much dark energon will debilitate you. you haven't built up an immunity like Megatron has.:" Ratchet said over the comm
`Good job, doc you just add another point in his favor." i thought
"Yet another good argument for having my guidance." Megatron said
"You can give us Unicron's exact coordinate." Optimus said
"If you transport us to this planet's core I can lead you to Unicron's spark. to the very heart of his darkness." Megatron replied
"Optimus, even if we survive the jump, how are we supposed to stop Unicron?" Arcee asked
"That's what I would like to know." unicron said
Optimus looked to Megatron and silently shook his head yes knowing there was only one way
"With the matrix of leadership." Optimus said
"Of course he would use that." unicron said
"What's that?:" fowler ask
: A vessel of pure energy and the Collective wisdom of the prime.:" Ratchet answered
"No offense, Optimus but do we have time for a scavenger hunt? I mean where do we find this matrix?" I asked
": jack Optimus does not need to find it he carrier it within him.:" ratchet said
"Optimus it was primus and the other primes combined power that defeated Unicron so very long ago, that is the reason Unicron wants to destroy Optimus." Megatron said
"It was one against fourteen how was I supposed to fight that?" unicron "all because I wanted something that he wouldn't give me."
"It would follow that releasing the power of the matrix into Unicrons spark would return him to stasis." Optimus said
Scene change Autobot base
"Hold on, if everything goes right Unicron is going to stay down there can't we, I don't know just siphon him out." Miko said
"Miko he's not in the earth's core." Raf spoke up "he is the earth's core."
"Raphael is correct, tampering with the earth's core would affect the magnetic poles and triggering the very cataclysmic events we are trying to remedy, tragically Unicron is the planet's very seed, always has been and always must be." Ratchet was not happy about it.
