Last time
"do what you must." Bā-chan said unlocking the vault "but make it quick, I do not need to tell you time is running out." I took out my energon saber and cut my hand, coating the blade with my blood all the way up to the tip and the blood had a little purple in it. i stabbed the jewel of amaterasu and the energy set the saber on fire and when it cooled down. It still had the flames but the saber changed from a normal steel blue saber to the saber's blade changing to blood that went all the way up the blade, the blade itself had blood turned purple flame like pattern on it but as the flames got closed to the spine it turned dark blue.
"What are you going to do now?" Bā-chan asked
"Buy team prime time by distracting unicron." I replied, i opened a comm "ratchet open a groundbridge." a second later a groundbridge opened at my location. I turned to Bā-chan and bowed "thank you, good bye Bā-chan."
"Good luck, Sabaku no hebi." she replied
At the autobot base
I walked out the groundbridge with my energon saber on fire "wow cool dude." miko said
"Ratchet open a groundbridge to the desert outside jasper." i order and ratchet did as i ordered
In the desert
Overhead a monster of a storm was raging, storm clouds hanging overhead with rain coming down hard with purple lighting flashing overhead. "Okay unicron let's end this." I said as I swung around and planted the saber into the ground, it sent flames into the ground and The flames hit the back of his head. When I stood up I yelled into the air "come on unicron you wanted me you got me."
a minute later
The rocks around me started moving and formed into unicron "what do we have here, a little boy trying to fight like a man?"
"No more hiding unicron. you wanted the shadow you got him." i replied, I took out the shinigami mask and put it on. my eyes turned blood red "let's end this." i said as we dashed at each other
On to the story
We got into a swordlock but the force alone sent me flying back a couple of feet but i was able to right myself and throw six kunai each one hitting his arm once i land, i jump back and brought down my saber, unicron tried to use his mace blocked but the saber went clean throw it.
He punched the ground and earth spikes came out of the ground.
I back flipped out of a boulder size rock that unicron threw, I threw a handful of shuriken and senbon that are poison. They hit his head but they did little to no damage, he hands started glowing and blasting me, but I was able to dash over them and jumped up and tried to slash his face.
Unicron graded me in the air and held me up by the throat "Give up boy, you are human and you need to breathe." unicron said, forcing me to drop the sword. "You used to fight like killing comes like breathing but you're still holding back."
'He's right.' I thought 'I already said no more playing." I jumped back up and I gave a palm strike to his crest which had enough force to break his back wings, followed by one to his right shoulder then his crest again and right leg then his left shoulder and left leg "that sent him back a couple of steps.
"Well it looks like you're done playing." unicron said
I gave a final palm strike to his head. Unlike a normal human that would have killed them it only paralyzed his body and I picked up the sword and cut his clean off but he just reformed, we fought for an hour and he gave an uppercut but I slowly stood up "what are doing, you can barely stand." he said
"Your right unicron I can barely stand, but I'll keep fighting you if it means keeping you here and away from Optimus and Megatron."
"So what that's all about." unicron replied "keep me away from the prime."
"I would rather have you fighting me than fighting optimus." i replied
He started laughing "so that's your plan." he turned to dust "till we meet again."
"You know it wouldn't be so bad to have him like a dad." i thought
'Thank you." unicron replied
":ratchet, open a groundbridge.:" i comm and a groundbridge opened, and I walked through the bridge.
i walked out of the groundbridge "So how did it go?" miko said
"I got but handed to me but I was able beat unicron." i replied
"So how did you walk away?" miko asked
"I gave unicron exactly what he always wanted." i replied
"What would that be?" ratchet asked
"A son." I simply
"You did what?!" ratchet yelled
"Look i have two dad's." i replied "one i've never even heard his voice and the other is hop socketing arcoss the galaxy, letting unicron have exactly what the lord order took away." i replied
"He is evil incarnated!" ratchet yelled like him saying it louder would make me agree with him.
"He is chaos, he is an immoral pain in the neck, but he is NOT evil." i replied
"If he succeeds he will destroy this planet, killing billions of people!" ratchet yelled
"I killed hundreds of people as the shiniagin shadow." I yelled back "I was sent after the worst of the worst but that last one is my nightmares. That doesn't make me evil, not just a highly trained killer that any autobot has done time and time again, order and chaos go hand and hand, they are universal constants, i gave unicron something no one ever even thought about, i gave unicron lord of chaos a little bit of light in his dark life."
"How can you care about someone as evil as Unicron!?" ratchet yelled
"Because unlike you, I don't see the world in black and white." i yelled "I've seen what bigotry and hatred can do and I refuse to walk down that path not now, not ever, I have one dad gallivanting across the galaxy, the other one I never even heard his voice, i'm giving unicron something he's never had."
"What could you, human give unicron the chaos bringer?" Ratchet scoffed
I only gave him one word, "family." I replied, and to me that one word was all that mattered.
"Sooo, what are you planning because I don't see you and him going on father and son bonding picnics?" miko asked
I laughed at the thought "no, no miko at most i am going to let him see life through my eyes." Suddenly the earth started shaking and my skin felt like it was burning, I was holding arms and bent over in pain i was in pain all over my body.
"Take cover!" ratchet yelled
"Jack!" mom yelled
The earth started to form into unicron and shield me and form around me "I protect what is mine." he said, after sometime the earth stopped but unicron transformed into armor "call it a gift from me to you."
"Be careful there might be aftershocks." mom asked
"Wow dude." miko said "look at yourself."
I looked at my hands and they were covered in rock with rock claws and the under armor is black, with earth spiked gauntlets, i looked down and the chest was rock looked like a beetle and my feet were rock like dragon claws, "hmm interesting." i said "well i'll say this for father, he sure knows how to make some armor."
"What is with your head." miko said "or your back."
I felt up my back and there were horns and demon wings "Those would be from the Shinigami, something about helping him win a bet he had." unicron said
"Well I'll say this for the Shinigami, he sure knows how to give a gift, now I can fly with my master." i replied "the claws can help with climbing and slashing, the spikes perfect for defense and the horns are a good fear tactic."
"time for the best part check out of your backside" unicron replied
I reached back and pulled back a golden sword and along the blade was written "Konton no musuko." i said
"What does it mean?" raf asked
"Son of chaos." i replied "hmm matches me, i never like playing by other people's rules except for the clan rules."
"'how do I take these thing off?'" I asked
"What, you dont like your gifts?" Unicron replied
'Oh I love them, but a ninja greatness tool is decetpion." I replied
"Just think about." Unicron replied
I thought about it and the armor turned to purple bracelets "nice." I said looking at the bracelets
"What no mace or cursed sword." ratchet said scanning for team prime
"Cursed sword maybe but maces aren't my type." i replied
"What do you mean" raf asked
"When you become a ninja there are different types, some people are big and strong, great for power and defense, but they are almost classes." i replied
"Which type and class are you?" miko replied
"I'm a speed and agility type, and as for my class as well as a shinigami shadow I'm automatically an assassination class." i replied
"Aren't all ninja's assassin's." raf said
"Yes, as ninja we learn to be assassin's but shinigami shadow's are in a class of their own. The mask doesn't just choose someone and that's it anytime you put on the mask in grant's the wearer all the knowledge the people wearing has gained over six hundreds, one thing thing we learn is how to kill in seven moves, we are the ones that go after the worst of the worst, they go after ninjas that desert or defect." i replied "there is only one shinigami shadow every ten years and I was unfortunately the last one, killed over hundred people over three years but in my fourth year i buried the mask after a mission that lasted a years and refuse to pass in on to someone else, till this year wear i took up the mask and took out cobras underworld in jasper."
"Why would you give up something like that?!" miko yelled
"Because after four years and a hundred people." I replied "I couldn't take it anymore after my last mission."
"I'm surprised that a person like you gets squeamish around blood." ratchet replied
I turned to him "I can kill the guilty without losing a wink of sleep, it's the innocent that keeps me up at night." i replied
"What do you mean?" raf replied
I walked over to the couch "Are you sure you want to hear this story because it might give you nightmares or worse look at me differently, sometimes I see a different person when I look in the mirror?" they all shook their heads in agreement "well i guess it's time to let the secret out of the bag." I took a deep breath. "Unicron said the reason the shinigami chose me was because I know the value of life and the difference between leaving for love and for greed. Well, I learned that lesson the hard way, five years ago I was tasked with taking out a ninja that defected. It took me a year to find him but like always I did find him, turns out four years prior he… he fell in love with someone on a mission in canada, after a year of searching I eventually did find him." i took another deep breath "he … had a son and wife, I burned the house down," i closed my eyes still seeing the house burning down " well you get the idea what I did to the family, every time I closed my eyes i… I hear their screams." I took another deep breath reliving that day "Every year I go see their grave and beg for their forgiveness. In fact, in a couple of months I'll go see them again and do the same thing all over. After that I buried the mask" i turned to ratchet. "I can kill the guilty without blinking, but they keep me up at night."
"couldn't you stop yourself." ratchet said
"No." i replied "once the shinigami shadow is given the order, the mask takes over and the wielder can't refuse, that's why i gave up the mask the first time.
Miko and raf rushed over and gave me a hug and they were crying "I'm so sorry snake."
I pushed them away "how can you two even touch me, after the story i just told you."
"Because you're our friends." Raf replied "You did what you were ordered to do."
I started walking away "say what you want, team prime will be coming back in a little bit." while ratchet was still scanning for team prime and was talking to raf a second pass
Just like I said, ratchet opened the groundbridge and team prime walked, with glam faces "I was really worried bulk." Miko said
"Y-you alright bee." Raf asked bee told him he was okey
"And Optimus is he." Ratchet asked a little worried
"Dead no." Arcee said
"But he looked right at us without recognizing us, he didn't even know his own name." Bulkhead finished
"It's because he doesn't matrix anymore." i replied "without the matrix he's no longer optimus but returned back orion pax's."
"What do you mean?" arcee asked
"Hmm, When optimus surrendered the matrix of leadership" ratchet said "he lost more than the collective wisdom of the primes he lost his own memories."
"That doesn't follow, optimus knew Megatron." Arcee said
"Yeah they were like B.B.F or something." Bulkhead said
Bumblebee buzzed "yeah it was weird."
"That's because they were friends before the war." I said
"If Optimus did not know his own name, Perhaps it's because the title of prime has not been granted to him." ratchet replied "With the power of the matrix within him gone it would stand to reason that Optimus turned back to him per-prime state the historical archivist I told you about Orion pax." i said
"You mean in his mind?" mom asked
"Are you telling me that prime thinks he is some kind of librarian and a Decepticon!" Fowler yelled the last part
"Being a Decepticon is a choice Agent Fowler, one I have a hard time believing he would make at any point in his life." ratchet explained
"So if he is riding with the con's." bulkhead said
"It's because Megatron is working some kind of voodoo." Arcee said
Ratchet turned around and replied "Orion may not be currently an Autobot in here "but gesturing to his helm" but I most believe he is an Autobot in here." Pointing to his spark "we must locate him to know for certain."
I started tapping the key on the med breath think something over 'optimus, wouldn't give this to me unless he had an back up plan to come back.'
"Where did you get that?" I heard someone say.
I looked up at ratchet "Optimus told me that it was the key to the groundbridge power supply, but is it what I think it is." i replied
"Hold up I have a chip lodged in my behind that lets uncle sam know when I stop for donuts are you telling me that you can't track prime." Fowler said
"Optimus' signal has not reappeared since he embarked for earth's core but we must get to work finding if we have any hope of initiating his contingency plan." ratchet said
"contingency plan?" Arcee said
"what contingency?" bulkhead asked
"Is that even a word?" Miko asked
"What is it?" fowler asked
"This is pure cybertronian technology." I replied holding up the key "is ancient cybertronian technology, called the key of vector sigma."
Fowler asked "so what does it do?."
"It grants access to vector sigma, the repository of the wisdom of the prime's." ratchet explained
I started laughing a little and said under my breath "Optimus, you sneaky devil, lying to a ninja is one thing tricking one is another, I'm impressed."
"Is that some sort of supercomputer?" Raf asked "So we can just download Optimus' memories back into him, great! which one is the big V over here" he asked looking at the computers around him "somewhere in the back"
"No raf Vector sigma is a lot more than a supercomputer, it's an ancient source of mystic power." ratchet replied "on Cybertron."
"Sabaku no hebi darby." mom said pointing at me "you are not going to other planet."
"I'll go." miko said
"Your not going either, not when one of you can." mom said
"Will someone please explain to me what you are talking about ratchet!" Fowler yelled
"Jack is holding one of Cybertron's most important relics." ratchet explained
"Why would he give this to me? I'm a ninja, a liar, a thief , I shouldn't have this." i said
"Optimus entrusted it to you jack." ratchet said
"Why, Optimus send a boy to do a bot's job." Fowler said
"Because only a prime can access Vector sigma or one chooses by a prime, Optimus gave the keycard to jack it is now imprinted with his unique biosignature " Ratchet explained
"So is he like some horonry prime." miko said
"Let's just say Jack is the only that can bring Optimus but to the bot we know."
"Maybe there's something more to Jack than meets the eye." Arcee said
"All of which is moot, the keycard is useless to us without a means of reaching Cybertron." Ratchet said
Ratchet screen started beeping it's call from Egypt. Ratchet answered "it's from the joe's it's from the general Hank himself." ratchet answered
I saluted him "hello general, is there something wrong?" i asked
"Corporal, we have some news for you." the general replied, he pulled up the video of firefly and destro breaking into one of one of the joe's bases "destro and the taitor firefly, broke into prison and helped sierra and vince escaped."
