"Hello and welcome to day 2 as the games finally kick off. Starting off today, we'll be doing a little archery, a sport as old as time itself. We're coming at you live from Yumenoshima Park in the Koto Ward of Tokyo, a sports park that was improved from a landfill site. Now it's a place where you can enjoy sports and the like. And it also happens to be where today's archery event will take place." Howard said.
"Now the point of the event is simple. Three tries, one target. Winner is the person who earns the most points by getting closest to the center. First shot will be 30m, then 50m, then 70m. Don't forget to account for wind also. All right, let's start with our first archer. Firing from Team Digimon, we have Gabumon! While he doesn't normally use a bow and arrow, he is skilled using a crossbow...as well as an arrow.
Gabumon stepped up to the field. From the 30m line, he shoots the arrow as it hits close to the bullseye. Backing up to the 50m range, he hits the red area. Backing up to the 70m range, he manages to hit the yellow area again.
"And Gabumon's score is a 25. That's going to be tough to beat!" Howard said. "Now we move on to Digimon Team. Firing for them, we have the Ice rebel : Matt! This one always keep his cool even in archery.
Matt took his mark at the 30m range as he fired and hit close to the bullseye. he jumped back to 50m before firing and hitting the bullseye. he fired once more from the 70m line as it hit the blue area.
And Matt's final score is...24. So very close but not enough." Sylvester said. "Firing up next is the Smash Bros Team with Pit. As captain of Palutena's royal guard, he's no stranger to being an archer, maybe even a part time cupid?"
"Hey, that is so not true!" Pit shouted. Pit then pulled back his bow as he hit the bullseye. He jumped back and fired again, hitting the bullseye again. "One more. It's in the bag!" Pit said firing once more only for the wind to knock the arrow off course as it hit the Inner Yellow area.
"And the final score is 29. A magnificent display of archery skills." Howard said.
"All right. Now next up to the range is Team Pokemon with Iris. The former champion of the Unova League, word is that she's an expert archer. This is the first time we'll be seeing if those rumors are true.
Iris stared at the target before she took a deep breath, pulled back her bow, and let her arrow fly, her projectile hitting the bullseye. At 50ft, she went through the same motions, the second arrow landing near the edge of the center. Her final arrow, at the 70ft mark, landed in the outermost yellow area. "27. Not bad but not enough to beat Pit's score." Iris said to herself.
"Now...up next we have the Team 3 Houses. Firing for them is Ashe Duran! Currently a student from the Blue Lions house, adopted by a noble, he aspires to be a knight like his adoptive brother." Howard said.
"Heh, piece of cake." Ashe said, taking a deep breath as he pulled up his bow. Dead center at 30m. He backed up to 50m. Another repeat, dead center shot. At 70m… Ashe did it yet again, hitting the bullseye on the edge, earning him a perfect score. "Got 'em."
"Incredible! Not only did he outshine Pit's score, he did it with such ease! It didn't even look like he was even trying that hard." Sylvester said.
"Coming up next for Team Brotherhood of Evil, it's Prince John's henchman, The Sheriff of Nottingham." Kreese said.
The Sheriff of Nottingham uses remote-controlled arrows which goes directly to the bullseye of the targets but since they were remote-controlled, it counts as cheating and Team Broterhood of Evil is disqualified from the event.
"Now, well, this may seem like de ja vu but it is not. Coming up for Team JUMP Force, we have Seiya, the JUMP Shonen Comics version of Pit.
"I'm gonna show him that cheaters never prospers." Seiya said as he fired right at the center. He stepped back before hitting the center once more. "One more!" he said firing the last arrow to the center.
"And final score is 30. It's a tie for first place with Ashe." Howard said.
"Now...coming up next...for the KERORO Platoon, Keroro! Let's see our sgt frog during this event!" Sylvester said as Keroro stepped up. "Here goes." Keroro said as he fired an arrow, hitting a bullseye. He backs up a bit, and hits another one. Once he reached the 70m line, she starts to sweat a bit.
"All right last one..." Said Keroro but due to the wind, his arrow hits a tree.
"20 points, tough luck for Keroro. We'll see if the remaining teams can make it. Up next, from Team Hamtaro, we have Bijou, the girl of the Hamtaro Team who will show her skills in archery for the Ham-Ham Gang." Said Kreese.
At the 30 meter mark, Bijou aimed and fired, hitting a bullseye no problem. Next up at the 50 meter mark, she fired again but hit the white Inner area Finally at 70 meters, she aimed and fired again, her aim was perfect, but the wind offset her trajectory a bit, hitting another tree.
"And the final score is 21. Well least she made a better score than Keroro." Kreese said. "Up next, for Team Straw Hat, we have the sniper called God...Usopp!".
"Okay...first time using a bow and arrow...no pressure." Usopp said as he fired and hit the bullseye. "Okay…." he said before getting a second bullseye. "One more...gah!" Usopp said, firing too far to the right. "No!" he said before the wind blew it right into the red area.
"Hmm...a 28...Not a bad score but not good enough to take 3rd place." Howard said.
"It all comes down to the last six teams. Up next for team My Little Pony, we have Rainbow Dash. She may look trigger-happy but she can be serious when the situation is needed." Kreese said.
Rainbow Dash pulled back the bow as the arrow went and hit the red area. She stepped back and fired once more, hitting the red are. She stepped back one final time and fired with the arrow nailing the bullseye./p
"26, good score but not good enough for 3rd place!" Howard said. "But maybe that'll change with our next archer. Next, from TINY TOONS Team, Buster Bunny! The best student of ACME ACRES and LOONIVERSITY. He had proven to be quite the archer in a fanfic of RGKECLEON's named Buster Hood, that we saluate BTW." Said Kreese.
He fired a bullseye from the 30m range and 50m, but was off and hit the blue area in the 70m range.
"26, not a bad score. Now, up next we have Team MIRACULOUS as they send in Kim Le Chien! A Jock who's also the holder of the Monkey Miraculous." Kreese said. Kim hits the bullseye in the 30m and 50m range, but missed by many inches in the 70m mark. "And it looks to be 20. Tough luck, but he showed that he still got some skills in archery despite not being Dark Cupid."
"And finally we have for Team Go-Getters, GARDEVOIR, Don't let this pokemon fragile side fools you, she has proven to be quite an adventurer." Sylvester said.
Gardevoir went and fired her arrows at each mark hitting the bullseye twice and the blue area once.
"A score of 26...not a bad show. And that is game! Event over! Our medalists are Ashe earning gold, Seiya gaining silver and Pit earning bronze!" Howard said as the medals were awarded.
"Now...starting in ten minutes...we'll begin the Dream Fencing event so head on over to the Lost Palace from Sonic Heroes!" Sylvester said.
"Okay...who is ready for some Dream fencing? Now we've created a 4-player match for each fights, the last two remainings will continue the competition. Now our 4 first participants will be TK, Cilan, Kenshin Himura and Captain Hook.
Both teams watched as their competitors entered with their swords.
During the fight, Hook uses Smee as a special attack which he fires cannonballs which badly hurts TK and Cilan but Kenshin manages to save TK for being eliminated and the samurai and the little digidestined of hope manages to take down Hook who's disqualified for the event due to the bad injuries on Cilan and TK.
"With that, Kenshin and TK moved on to the next round. Next match will be with Pururu, Hamtaro, Marth and Rainbow Dash".
The 4 groups took their marks.

"Match over! Marth and Hamtaro moves on!" the ref said.
''All right! Now for match 3! It's now Patamon, Plucky, Brook, and Zachary Marin". Sylvester said.
Both groups stepped up as their fighters took stage.

"And that's a game! Winners, Brook and Zachary Marin!" Howard said.
"And finally for our next match, Team Miraculous Kagami VS Team Go-Getters Kiawe and his Marowak.

"Nicely done, Kagami is now for the finals. Now, next match! Its TK, Kenshin, Hamtaro and Marth!"

For the next match : Team Straw Hat : Brook VS Team 3 Houses : Zachary Marin.

"And that's a game ! Winner, Zachary Marin!" Sylvester said.
"And now the final match : Kenshin, Marth, Zachary and Kagami !".

"Event over! Our medalists are Kagami earning gold, Marth gaining silver and Kenshin earning bronze!" Howard said as the medals were awarded.
"Next up, we have Judo as the final event of the day !". Announced Kreese
"Okay ladies and gents! Let's get the show on the road! First match is Team Digidestined vs Team Pokemon!" Magenta said. "For Team Digidestined, we have Cody Hida! And for Team Pokemon, we've got Maylene! A battle of brains and brawns!" Howard said.
"Ready Maylene ?" Cody said.
"Anywhere, anytime, Cody." Maylene said.
"Begin!" the ref said as Cody went at Cobra only for Maylene to quickly sweep the leg before pinning him down to the ground. "Ippon! Match over!"
Maylene is the victor.
"Now...the next match! Team JUMP Force vs Team Brotherhood of Evil!" Magenta said. "Fighting for Team JUMP Force is Jotaro Kujo and for Brotherhood of Evil it's Kinkotsuman !"
"Let's see if I can fight Caleb for the Smash Bros Team." Said Jotaro.
Jotaro quickly jumped up as he wrapped Star Platinum's arms around Kinkotsuman's neck.
"Incredible! Just out of the gate and he has Kinkotsuman's in a strangler's hold!" Kreese said. "Though we would like to remind him that strangle holds only count if the opponent is on the ground."
"Huh...oh yeah. I don't do too many competitive martial arts." Jotaro said before releasing the hold.
"Poor Jotaro. Your style of martial arts aren't suited for conventional stages, are they? Seems like you need a little lesson in proper combat etiquette, you were lucky against DIO but with me, your luck is gonna end... NOW !" Kinkotsuman said before using a dark cannon against the last of the Joestar bloodline.
"Conventional...yeah...never really been my style. As for etiquette…" Jotaro said he swung his arms high into the air. "It's always been doing what others don't expect!" he said jumping before falling to the ground with Kinkotsuman still stuck to his arm.
"What the?!" Kinkotsuman said before quickly finding himself pinned to the ground.
"One other thing...you made a real mistake. Pissing me off and playing dirty." Jotaro said before unleashing Star Platinum who continously fights Kinkotsuman while screaming "ORA ORA ORA..." until Kinkotsuman is defeated.
"Ippon! Match over! Winner is...Jotaro Kujo!" the ref said.
"Now we are moving on to match 3! We have Team Hamtaro vs Team Keroro Platoon! For Team Hamtaro, we have Ham-Ham who knows Sports and victory! Welcome...Sandy! And for Team Keroro Platoon, give it up for the Strategist ...Kururu"
"Don't worry about a thing. I'll give you exactly what you need." Kururu said.
"Just because I'm a girl, doesn't mean you should underestimate me." Sandy said.
"You may...begin!" the ref said.
"It's time! For...this!" Kururu said before grabbing Phoebe.
"Wait...this doesn't look like Judo. It looks like Kururu's...hugging her?!" Sylvester said.
"So you have no intention of fighting do you? I can respect that." Sandy said.
"What use is fighting...when we all should become friends!" Kururu said.
"So that we can protect the ones that matter to us. When my brother convinced me to represent the Ham-Ham Gang in the ACME 2022 TOKYO OLYMPIC GAMES, it came down to me to train to bring as many gold medals for the Ham-Ham Club." Sandy said. "I have Hamtaro and Bijou to thank for that, they showed me what it means to be a true good sport !" Sandy said.
"That sounds so bad. I need to go tighter!" Kururu said, tightening his grip.
"It's over." Phoebe said as she pulled her body back before flipping Kururu over onto his back as she pinned him.
"Match over! Winner: Sandy!" the ref said.
"Now we move onto our next match! Team DIGIMON vs Team TINY TOONS! Two forces collide as we see Palmon face off against Plucky!" Howard said.
The two competitors stepped into the ring, as Plucky bowed down slowly.
Palmon pounded her right fist into her left palm as she did the same.
"You may...begin!" the ref called out.
Palmon dashed in as she grabbed Plucky by the shoulders before flipping him onto his back onto the ground. It was a good throw, although it lacked enough power.
"Waza-ari!" The ref cried out, as Yu slowly got back up, cracking his neck side-to-side.
"Good throw you got there, had me by surprise how easily you tossed me." Plucky told Palmon gently. "Gotta say, you almost remind me of Elmyra."
"Despite my size, I'm stronger than I look." Palmon said as she readied herself.
"Oh, trust me. Size ain't got much difference in judo." Palmon responded back, before he then grabbed Palmon by the shoulder. "Still, if I can't throw you properly in a normal throw, I suppose that I'll have to try a throw specifically used against smaller ones like you". But Palmon grabbed Plucky's arm and spun him around before pinning him down, just long enough to earn another waza-ari, which made ippon.
"Waza-ari! The winner is Palmon!" The ref remarked, before Palmon released her hold on Plucky, as the duck student slowly rose up, with a slightly disappointed expression.
"With half of the matches past, we move to the other half! Next up: Team 3 Houses vs Team MIRACULOUS! With Caspar Von Bergliez facing Kim Le Chien!" Kreese said.
Kendo and Bardock both took their positions.
"Well, the pressures' on both of us, isn't it?" Caspar asked. "Neither one of our teams has made it far in the last two events today."
"That's about to change here." Kim replied, settling into a fighting stance. "You want to win? Don't fight like this is just for sport. Act like this is a fight for your life."
"Oh believe me… I do want to win." Caspar said, guard up.
"Begin!" the ref called.
Both Caspar and Kim moved at one another and grappled up cleanly. The two struggled for a bit before Caspar used Kim's momentum on a push and threw him over her shoulder to the mat.
"Waza-ari! Point, Caspar!" The ref called.
"I think you're forgetting that I'm training to become a knight." Caspar said as Kim recovered. "I may not have some brains like some of my classmates of the academy, but I do know that heroes always put their lives on the line."
"And that's where we're different." Kim said as the two reset. "You're training to be a knight, right ?"
Kim then rushed up to Caspar, grabbed his arms, then threw him to the ground.
"I was born to be a champion." Kim finished.
"Waza-ari! Point, Kim! The next point wins the match!" the ref called as the two competitors reset for the final time.
"Go for it, Caspar !" Linhardt cheered.
"You got this, Kim!" Max said from the sidelines.
"You're smart, I'll give you that, but that won't always give you the win." Kim said. "You always try to use your brain and brawns to win a fight. You lack the instinct a fighter needs. If you don't have that… your knight career will end with your death!" he said, as he lunged towards the student.
Caspar met him head on as the two grappled again. This time Kim had the advantage because he was faster, and looked to finish the match, but then, suddenly….
"You really think… I don't know what you're talking about?!" Caspar asked as he suddenly gained momentum, Kim suddenly coming off balance.
"(Damn, I put too much force into my arms… left my footing loose!)" Kim thought as he attempted to regain his balance, but too late as Caspar went for the throw.
"How's this for instinct?!" Caspar asked, slamming Kim onto the floor.
"Match over, Caspar is the winner!" the ref called.
"We will now start the next match! Straw Hat vs Team Go-Getters! For the Straw Hats, we have Sanji and for Go-Getters it's Throh and Gantu!" Sylvester said as both stepped up.
"You may...begin!" the ref said as both went at each other before Sanji uses Jambe à la diable to take down two times Throh and Gantu.
"Winner is Sanji !". Said Kreese.
"For the final match, until the next part : TEAM SMASH Bros vs TEAM MY LITTLE PONY with Caleb Lhantis against Apple Jack".
"You may… begin!" The referee said, as Apple Jack would soon charge for David, trying to push him to the outside of the ring area.
"Sorry, Apple Jack. But that's not going to work on me." David said as he grabbed a hold of her shoulders before tossing her out of the ring.
But Apple Jack would show she wasn't done, as she put a hand in bounds and pushed off, leaping back into the ring as she landed on her feet. "Nice try!"
"Winner... Caleb Lhantis" the ref said.
"What?" Frosterra asked.
"Maam...not sure where you come from, but the rules of judo are much different than regular fighting." the ref said
"...Oh." Apple Jack said, soon bowing her head. "S-sorry! I-I didn't know!" She added, extremely flustered. "I-I won't try to do it again, I promise!"
"Next time you pull that stunt, you'll be disqualified." the ref said.
"Y-yes sir…" Apple Jack said, feeling a bit down after the misunderstanding.
"Now we'll begin the 2nd part with for the first match : TEAM Pokemon vs TEAM JUMP Force : Maylene vs Jotaro Kujo !" Announced Kreese.
Jotaro tries to use STAR PLATINUM To take down Maylene, but Maylene apart from a Gym Leader and Martial artist avoid with ease and she manages to take down Jotaro.
"Winner... Maylene !". Announced Sylvester.
"Now we'll begin the 2nd match : TEAM Hamtaro vs TEAM Digimon : Sandy vs Palmon !" Announced Sylvester.
Palmon tries to use her abilities To take down Sandy, but Maylene apart from her small size avoid with ease and she manages to take down Palmon.
"Winner... Sandy !". Announced Sylvester.
"Now we'll begin the 3rd match : TEAM Smash Bros vs TEAM Straw Hat : Caleb vs Sanji !" Announced Howard.
Just like with Apple Jack, Sanji used Jambe à la diable and thought he won but instead he was disqualified and Caleb is now with Maylene with the final match and the match for 3rd place was against Sanji and Sandy, but Sanji refused to fight which makes Sandy won the Bronze medal.
The final match was soon beginning at both competitors entered.
"Caleb...it seems I owe you an apology." Maylene said.
"An apology? For what?" Caleb asked.
"I entered this event with a desire to beat you. But...that match reminded me...this place isn't a gym arena, it's somewhere people can enjoy others compete." Maylene said.
"Trust me. I know a lot of types like that. But you shouldn't have to beat yourself up about that. I didn't really expect to make it this far, anyway." Caleb said rubbing the back of his head.
"But...I'm still gonna beat you." Maylene said, smirking.
"You may...begin!" the ref declared as the two entered a standoff.
The two of them grappled for a while and over time, two standoffs occurred, earning them each a point, leaving them with one final match.
"You may...begin!" the ref called out.
Caleb moves in cautiously, closing his eyes and maintaining his focus.
Maylene knew there was no opening she could get in on when Caleb was focused like that. So...she smiled as Caleb just charged head on in. "When there's not an opening...make one." she said.
"Her aura is closing in." Caleb muttered as he attempted a grapple.
"There it is!" Maylene said as she went and grabbed onto Caleb's arm. "I knew you'd make a move if I got close."
"And...checkmate." Caleb said.
"Checkmate?" Maylene pondered before finding herself being flipped. "Wait...don't tell me...you made that move on purpose?!"
Jexi was then sent flat down on his back outside the ring.
"Winner...Caleb Lhantis!" the ref declared.
"You….actually...I don't even feel sore about this." Maylene said getting up.
"To be able to maintain my focus, and be able to react to the situation around me. Journeying with you all this time has taught me that. After all, as the saying goes… You can't have order without chaos." Caleb said. "Heck, my father taught that even someone like me has to take risks too. It's like I said back when we fought with the rest of the heroes against the Brotherhood of Evil." Caleb said.
"Yeah...I'll remember that." Maylene said as the gold medal was awarded to Caleb as Maylene got the silver one and Sandy got the Bronze one.
"And with that, the judo event has ended! And Day 2 as well, see you next time for Day 3!" Howard said.
