"Hello and welcome to day 8 of our coverage of the Tokyo Olympic Games! We're coming live from the Musashino Forest Sports Plaza! Here is the site of today's event, Badminton! Now we're gonna make this one simple. It's single player and the first to get 2 points off their opponents will move on. Now...our first match is...And our first match of the day is...Team Digidestined VS Team Pokemon." Said Sylvester.
The teams then stepped up. "For Team Digidestined..."Sora Takenouchi". For Team Pokemon...It's going to be Dawn!" Howard said.
Sora hitting the Shuttlecock towards Dawn at lightning speed.
Dawn reacts quickly by hitting it with a side spin.
Tai went to react only for the Shuttlecock to slip right past his racket.
"Point, May and Dawn." Sylvester said. "Their serve."
Dawn serves the Shuttlecock at a straight line.
'A straight...this is too simple even for her." Sora said, hitting it past Dawn towards May.
"Point, Sora and Tai! Their serve." Sylvester said.
Sora collected the Shuttlecock as she served with a spin.
Dawn decided to add some topspin to her next shot.
Sora went to strike back as the ball ended up breaking her paddle as it landed past her.
"Sora's paddle is broken, Team Pokemon !" Sylvester said. (Don't ask me why, but the sports with rackets will work just like Mario Tennis Aces).
"Okay...let's keep the fun going! Next match! Team JUMP Superstars VS Team Brotherhood of Evil !" Kreese said. "For JUMP Superstars..."Ryoma Echizen and Noelle Silva. For Brotherhood of Evil... King John and the Sheriff of Nottingham !".
Unfortunately for the two villains from Robin Hood, they try to cheat but since Ryoma is more gifted for tennis sports, the two villains are eliminated and Ryoma advances for the next part of the match.
"Okay….next up...we have Team KERORO Platoon vs Team Hamtaro!" Kreese said. "For Team KERORO Platoon, we have Keroro and Pururu! And for Team Hamtaro, we have Bijou and Hamtaro!" Said Howard.
Bijou wastes no effort as her serve curves to the side. Pururu reaches out to hit it back, but misses by a hair as the Shuttlecock landed on the ground behind her.
"Point, Bijou and Hamtaro! Their serve!" Sylvester said.
Bijou served her next shot. This time, however, Pururu was ready for it, hitting the Shuttlecock back to Bijou's left side, where it passed the female Hamster.
"Point, Keroro and Pururu! Their serve!" Howard declared.
Pururu thought for only a moment before she served the Shuttlecock to the right of Bijou's area.
Bijou anticipated this, however, and applied a sidespin to her next shot. This caused the Shuttlecock to curve to Pamama's right, the opposite side from where she was and towards Keroro.
"Point, Bijou and Hamtaro ! Their serve!" Sylvester called.
Bijou curves her serves to the left side. Pururu countered the serve by applying a topspin onto the Shuttlecock, causing it to slip below Bijou's paddle.
"Point Keroro and Pururu! Their serve!" Howard said.
Back at the court, Pururu served the Shuttlecock with a backspin, allowing it to go higher. Bijou countered with a push that sent the Shuttlecock up and over Pururu's head towards Keroro.
"Point, Bijou and Hamtaro! Their serve!" Sylvester called as the Shuttlecock was passed.
"I hope you're ready, Pururu and Keroro. Because you're about to see just what Ham-Ham is capable of." Hamtaro said as he served with a slight topspin. Keroro managed to hit it, sending the Shuttlecock upwards, allowing the two hamsters to quickly hit it back down, the stroke sending the ball past Pamama.
"Point, Bijou and Hamtaro! Match point!" Kreese said.
Bijou served with a slight backspin.
"Sorry, Bijou and Hamtaro, but we're not finished yet, too bad we didn't sent Tsuyu and Scott for the event !" Muttered Keroro as he hit the backspin at just the right angle to turn it into a topspin. The change in angle almost got past Hamtaro, before she managed to block the stroke's escape, sending the Shuttlecock back fast enough to get past the frogs one final time.
"Game to Bijou and Hamtaro! 5 points to 2!" Kreese said.
"Okay...now things are really starting to heat up! Let's get to the next match! We have Team Smash Bros vs Team MLP! Tails and Cosmo vs Rarity and Spike !" Howard said.
Rainbow Dash served the Shuttlecock before sending it at Cosmo with a strong topspin.
Cosmo would send it back, as she feinted a hard swing to hit a light one, sending the Shuttlecock to the front side of Spike's court where he'd need to reach, and it would still be a disadvantaged return.
Spike quickly moved to the ball before serving it back with a backhanded shot.
Tails would send it back in kind, mixing it up as it flew to the back left corner of Rarity's field, going at a pretty good velocity, another challenging return for Rainbow Dash.
(Sorry if I short out the match but it gets like real ping-pong over there...)
"And the match is over! Winner: Tails and Cosmo ! 5 to 0." Howard said.
"Up next! We have Team Digimon's Agumon and Biyomon vs Team Tiny Toons Babs Bunny and Lady Kluck !" Sylvester said.
As Lady Kluck served the ball, Agumon accidentally burned it, making Team Digidestined losing the match and making Team Tiny Toons advancing towards the next part of the tournament.
"Now there's something you don't see everyday. Now then...let's keep this excitement rolling! Next...we have the 3 houses Team against Team Straw hat!" Magenta said. "And Straw Hat has sent in its competitor. And...it's Zoro and Nico Robin!" Sylvester said.
"And for Team 3 houses, the princess Edelgard and her vassal : Hubert !" Howard said.
Zoro served the ball before sending it at Edelgard with a strong topspin.
Edelgard would send it back, as she feinted a hard swing to hit a light one, sending the Shuttlecock to the front side of Hubert's court where he'd need to reach, and it would still be a disadvantaged return.
Nico Robin quickly moved to the Shuttlecock before serving it back with a backhanded shot.
Hubert would send it back in kind, mixing it up as it flew to the back left corner of Zoro's field, going at a pretty good velocity, another challenging return for the one-eyed pirate.

"And the match is over! Winner: Edelgard and Hubert ! 5 to 0." Howard said.
"And for the final match of the 1st part of the event : Team Miraculous vs Team Go-Getters : Naofumi and Raphtalia vs Aipom and Chimchar !" Howard said.
"Here we go!" Naofumi said, serving up a power shot at Aipom.
Aipom immediately noticed the shot approaching, as he returned it swiftly, sending it back with equivalent force on his return shot.
"Got ya now!" Raphtalia said, sending it swerving back at Chimchar.
Chimchar kept his Shuttlecock on the ball, and just when it was about to bounce out of the court, he immediately slapped it with a slice, sending the Shuttlecock hurtling across the opposite corner, and tapping Raphtalia's edge.
"Did something happen or what ?" Raphtalia said as she didn't have enough time to react.
"Point, Aipom and Chimchar! Their serve!" Howard said.
Aipom immediately threw the Shuttlecock up, before he then fired a fast serve through the left side of Naofumi.
"No way you're gonna…" Naofumi said before the ball broke his paddle. "No way!"
"Naofumi's paddle is broken, Aipom and Chimchar won the match !" Sylvester said. (Don't ask me why, but the sports with rackets will work just like Mario Tennis Aces).
During the first match of the 2nd part was between Aipom, Chimchar and Lady Kluck and Babs Bunny but Aipom and Chimchar was disqualified due to going over the net is prohibited.
And since there are now only 6 athletes left, the medals will be awarded to the ones who will be quick to make 5 points, the faster will get gold medal, the less quicker will get silver and the slowest will get bronze.

"Next up we have : Team Hamtaro vs Team Smash Bros : Bijou and Hamtaro vs Tails and Cosmo !" Kreese said.

"Point, Tails and Cosmo ! Their serve!" Sylvester called.
Tails curves his serves to the left side. Hamtaro countered the serve by applying a topspin onto the ball, causing it to slip below Cosmo's paddle.
"Point, Tails and Cosmo ! Their serve!" Howard said.
Back at the table, Hamtaro served the Shuttlecock with a backspin, allowing it to go higher. Cosmo countered with a push that sent the ball up and over Bijou's head.
"Point, Tails and Cosmo ! Their serve!" Sylvester called as the ball was passed.
"I hope you're ready, Bijou and Hamtaro. Because you're about to see that Brains always triumphs over brawn." Tails said as he served with a slight topspin. Bijou managed to hit it, sending the ball upwards, allowing the female hamster to quickly hit it back down, the stroke sending the ball past Cosmo.
"Point, Tails and Cosmo! Match point!" Kreese said.
Bijou served with a slight backspin.
"Sorry, Cosmo, but I'm not finished yet!" Bijou said as she hit the backspin at just the right angle to turn it into a topspin. The change in angle almost got past Tails and Cosmo, before she managed to block the stroke's escape, sending the Shuttlecock back fast enough to get past the female hamster one final time.
"Game to Tails and Cosmo! 5 points to 2!" Kreese said.
"And finally the final match : Team Tiny Toons vs Team 3 Houses : Babs Bunny vs Edelgard and Hubert !" Said Kreese.
"Here we go!" Edelgard said, serving up a power shot at Babs.
Babs immediately noticed the shot approaching, as she returned it swiftly, sending it back with equivalent force on Hubert's return shot.
"Nice try Babs, but let's see if you can top this !" Hubert said, sending it swerving back at Lady Kluck.
Lady Kluck kept her eyes on the Shuttlecock, and just when it was about to bounce out of the table, she immediately slapped it with a slice, sending the Shuttlecock hurtling across the opposite corner, and tapping Edelgard's edge of the table on its first bounce.
"Did I made a miscalculation ?" Edelgard said as he didn't have enough time to react.
"Point, Babs and Lady Kluck ! Their serve!" Howard said.
Babs immediately threw the Shuttlecock up, before she then fired a fast serve through the left side of Edelgard.
"No way you're gonna…" Edelgard said before the ball broke his paddle. "No way!"
"Edelgard"s paddle is broken, Babs and Lady Kluck won the match !" Sylvester said. (Don't ask me why, but the sports with rackets will work just like Mario Tennis Aces).
"And we have our winners, Gold Medal goes to Team Tiny Toons, Silver Medal to Team JUMP SUPERSTARS and Bronze Medal to Team Smash Bros."
"Hello and who is ready for some dirt cycling aka BMX! The objective is simple. 8 Athletes races will go and race around the track one time. Whoever makes it to the finish first gets the gold medal. Let's meet our competitors. For Team Digidestined : Tai Kamiya, Team Pokemon : Ash Ketchum, Team JUMP Superstars : Yusei Fudo, Team BOE : Wario, Team Keroro Platoon : Pamama, Team Hamtaro : Maxwell, Team Smash Bros : Excitebike, Team MLP : Rainbow Dash, Team Digimon : Palmon, Team Tiny Toons : Plucky, Team Straw Hats : Usopp, Team 3 Houses : Ferdinand Von Aegir, Team Miraculous : Alix Kubdel and Team Go-Getters : Aipom". Said Howard
During the race Wario and Plucky were disqualified due to a collision course, the racers pedals to the medals and it's a close one that even the Photo Finish was needed to see who won : Team JUMP Superstars won Gold Medal, Team Smash Bros won Silver and Team Miraculous won Bronze, when the photo finish was developped.
"And with that, Day 7 has come to a complete close. Now then...hope everyone enjoys the rest of their day. Signing off now. Bye bye!" Sylvester said.
