Shisui fluttered his eyes open slowly. His field of view was completely black, save for a barely visible door. Wandering where the door lead to Shisui opened it out of curiosity.

Upon opening the door he saw an armless creature screeching in front of him.

"What the hell?" He muttered to himself as he unsheathed his sword, ready to fight this creature.

"Come on!" Shisui said to the creature as it continued to screech at him.

Suddenly, the creature ceased it's screeching and merely stared at Shisui for a few seconds before it disappeared in a poof of smoke.

What Shisui saw when the smoke cleared was an imaged that would be burned into his brain.

It was Sasha, Marisa and all of the orphans, only they were all lying dead in pools of blood.

Shisui felt an intense sorrow swell in his chest, he wanted to scream but he couldn't find the voice to do so.

In the meantime, a new figure arised from the ground, a figure that Shisui knew all too well.

It was his deceased older sister, Fumiko Uchiha, standing in front of him.

"Shisui..." She muttered softly as she opened her arms for a hug.

Barely fighting back tears at this point, Shisui inched closer and closer to his sister to hug her until...

A large hand erupted from her chest and she began coughing up blood. Fumiko turned her attention toward her wound, staring at it in disbelief. Fumiko turned her attention to Shisui again, albeit with a hateful glare this time.

"SHISUI!" She screamed.

(Meanwhile in the real world)

"AHHHH!" Shisui screamed as he shot up from his bed. Looking outside his window he noticed it was still night-time. Panting heavily he wiped off the sweat on his forehead. It had been almost a week since he was released from prison, almost a week of having the same nightmare over and over.

Ever since Marisa's passing he had grown more determined to protect Sasha and the orphans at all costs, even at the price of his life. But that newfound determination had also made him realise how scared he was of losing someone close to him again.

"Shisui, I have noticed that you have not been sleeping properly for the last week, tell me what is bothering you?" A soft feminine voice asked that Shisui recognized belonged to Sariel.

"It is nothing." Shisui replied.

"You are lying." Sariel sternly said.

"(Sigh) Shisui please, you can trust me. What is on your mind that is deeply troubling you?" Sariel asked again, her voice filled with deep concern.

Shisui sighed, avoiding eye contact with Sariel. He wanted to trust her, truly he did. But ever since he learnt about the Order's past from Maylin a week ago he had grown deeply distrustful of the Order, especially Sariel. Collecting his thoughts together, Shisui built up the courage to tell Sariel what had been troubling him, although he knew to take caution not to reveal everything.

"I have been worried lately that I don't have the power to protect those close to me. I still feel as though I'm not strong enough, especially since Marisa's passing." Shisui admitted.

"Such a fear is natural in humans. It is to be expected as humans are naturally compassionate creatures who seek to protect those most dear to them." Sariel commented.

"Unfortunately, in all the realms I've visited, not all humans possesses this compassion." Sariel said sadly.

"You've visited other realms?" Shisui asked intrigued.

"Yes I have, many actually. I've encounter many humans and human like beings very similar to you Shisui. One of them was a blue hedgehog who could run at the speed of sound, the other a short overweight plumber with a red cap and the third was a bald boy with an arrow on his head.." Sariel explained.

"I understand your fear Shisui, but do not worry, the Chief Goddess has faith you will succeed. For the last week I have been analysing how you interact with the populace of Lescatie, and I have good news..." Sariel announced.

"What is the good news if I may ask?" Shisui asked politely, not wanting to sound rude.

"That you are one of the few humans who possess a pure heart. Which means that you are worthy to fully utliize the Chief Goddess' blessings." Sariel announced happily.

"This power, named the Holy Light, is an ability that envelops one's body in an aura of blue Divine Energy. This form grants you power that will allow the one weilding it to defeat the Demon Lord's daughters. However the only catch is that to use the Holy Light form the user must be pure of heart. If the potential user is not pure of heart, or a monster, it will not work and in extreme cases, may even kill the person. The other catch is that the form may only be accessed if the user desires to protect those close to him or her." Sariel explained.

"I see." Shisui said as he continued to listen to Sariel's explanation.

"To learn how to access this form, the chosen one, you in this case, will first have to pass the trials of righteousness in Paragon Valley." Sariel said.

"We may being now if so you wish. Or we can begin tomorrow." Sariel offered.

Shisui lamented on the options, he could begin tomorrow, to give himself more preparation time and rest, or he could begin today.

Ultimately he chose the latter decision, as he believed every second mattered, and the sooner he acquired the strength to protect those that mattered to him, then he would never have to suffer the pain of burying someone who died long before their time.

"I'd like to begin my training immediately." Shisui said confidently.

"Alright, let us begin." Sariel said as she placed a gentle hand on Shisui's shoulder.

(A Few moments later...)

"Where are we?" Shisui asked as he observed his surroundings. Gone was his simple bedroom, which was replaced with a breathtaking view of a lush valley. He and Sariel were on a piece of land that had a single tree and a stone path that led down to the valley. At the bottom of said valley sat a prepossessing castle.

"This is Paragon Valley, where those chosen as being exceptionally worthy by the Chief Goddess are tested through various challenging trials, with each becoming more difficult than the last. I warn you, these trials will push you to both your physical and mental limit hence why very few have passed these trials." Sariel explained further.

"The first test is simple, reach the Castle gates in under five minutes, while overcoming obstacles that will try to hinder you. I Good luck Shisui." Sariel said as she disappeared from view.

"Alright, let's do this!" Shisui declared confidently as he began running at breakneck speed down the stone path. He quickly noticed that the path was had massive holes in some areas, and had it not been for his Sharingan would've fallen through one of them.

Reaching the base of the path in no time Shisui jumped over the large pearly white gates, and made his way through the castle grounds.

(Meanwhile...)

In the week that Druella had first learned of Shisui and his extraordinary abilities, she had commissioned her top Mages to conduct research on Shisui and his world. Her top Lich, Myriam, had requested a one week period to conduct her research, before she could come back with any answers. The one week deadline had finally arrived and Druella was currently heading toward's Myriam's study, which was thankfully not too far from the Palace of the Royal Makai.

Druella gently knocked on the entrance door to the study, which was swiftly opened by none other than Myriam herself.

"Ah Lady Druella! You're here!" Myriam gasped in suprise.

"Indeed I am. How did your research go?" Druella asked.

"Yes, quite a lot of information actually Lady Druella. I recommend you find yourself a comfortable seat as I have a lot of information to relay to you." Myriam stated.

Druella raised an eyebrow at Myriam's statement, and conjured a Demonic Energy ball to sit on.

"Speak away Myriam." Druella ordered.

"Alright. Remember when Lady Sasha mentioned to you that Shisui hailed from a Village in the Leaves?" Myriam asked.

"Yes I do." Druella answered.

"I did some more research on said village. It turns out that this village, colloquially referred to as Konoha by it's inhabitants, was founded by two men by the names of Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha." Myriam revealed.

"Uchiha? This man has the same last name as Shisui as well? Is he perhaps his ancestor?" Druella asked.

"Yes and no. He is not a direct relative of Shisui's per say, but they hail from the same clan; Uchiha." Myriam said

"A clan? Like the Amanomiya clan in Zipangu?" Druella asked.

"Precisely. Unfortunately the history of this Uchiha clan gets rather vague before the time of this Madara individual. However I instead directed my research towards the Uchiha clan's abilities, and the results I found were rather...interesting." Myriam spoke.

"We already know about the Sharingan and it's abilities, however there is an evolved version of the Sharingan that is classified information. It is called the Mangekyo Sharingan." Myriam revealed.

Druella was completely taken aback by this revelation. Before she was merely sitting on her Demonic Energy orb nonchalantly, now though she was sitting up and listening with rapt attention.

"Mangekyo?" Druella muttered out.

"Yes. To achieve the Mangekyo Sharingan one must...murder those close to them." Myriam said softly.

Druella gasped as her eyes widened in shock at Myriam's words, she could not ever fathom killing any of her loved one just for more power.

"That is terrible..." Druella commented sadly.

"I know Lady Druella. It is a rather cruel price to pay for more power. During my research of this Hidden Leaf Village, I found in their history books that approximately 7 years ago, the village was attacked and nearly destroyed by the Nine Tailed Fox." Myriam replied.

"Interesting, so it seems that Shisui's world does have monsters, albeit those from the era of the former Demon Lord, which means the inhabitants of that world are naturally apposed to monsters." Druella commented.

"Hmm yes. Speaking of the Former Demon Lord I have some bad news about him." Myriam said in a somber tone.

"What of him?" Druella asked, internally dreading what she was about to hear.

"You remember the 13th Demon Lord, your mother's predecessor Jashin right?" Myriam asked.

Druella scoffed at hearing the name. "What of that bastard?" She spat out.

"It turns out that he...he is still alive, and escaped to Shisui's world." Myriam revealed.

Druella gasped in shock, and clenched her fist in barely contained anger.

"Once we liberate Lescatie, we will conduct a new mission; create a portal to Shisui's world and eliminate Jashin once and for all." Druella announced sternly.

Standing up from her Demonic Energy orb, Druella made her way towards the entrance of the study with a look of pure determination on her face.

"Lady Druella please calm down!" Myriam pleaded.

Druella turned around to face Myriam, her anger slowly dissipating.

"Mother told me stories of that monster, how he would murder succubi in cold blood if they never killed 100 humans in a week, how he would deliberately ruin the lives of humans and them tempt them with power when they were at their lowest point." Druella muttered.

"I can't let that monster continue to walk free!" Druella stated strongly as he turned around and opened the doors.

Myriam wanted to call out to Druella, oh how she wished she could change the mind of her friend to at least come up with some sort of plan first.

Alas she sighed in defeat as she knew that once Druella was dead set on an objective, nothing could change her mind.

Druella had a million thought going through her head, from what she had learned, and already knowing of Jashin's cruel and sadistic nature, she had wondered if maybe, just maybe, that Jashin had been the instigator of the war that plagued Shisui's world and robbed him of his family of childhood.

Tears streaked Druella's face at the thought of the horrible suffering Shisui and countless others from his world went through because of Jashin, these thoughts however only solidified her resolve to bring peace to her current world and Shisui's.

(Back with Shisui...)

Shisui navigated the castle's exterior to find the entrance to the so-called "Passage of the Pure" that Sariel informed him of when he reached the castle gates. It didn't help that for some reason, it started raining heavily now, and time was running out.

Swoosh

A large hail of needles had barely missed Shisui, looking back he saw that the caster of the needles was a creature called a "Manticore" which growled at Shisui menacingly.

"Damn, that was close." Shisui muttered as he attempted to avoid the Manticore, which was persistent in ending his life. Getting tired of this creature's antics Shisui began using the handsigns for a certain jutsu.

"Fire Style! Fire Ball Jutsu!" Shisui cried out as an enormous fireball erupted from his mouth and made it's way towards the Manticore, hitting the creature with deadly accuracy.

Now turning his attention back towards finding the entrance to the passage, Shisui scouted thoroughly to find it. Unfortunately he had no luck.

"Dammit, if only I had the Byakugan now." Shisui commented to himself as he felt his frustration grow. Shisui knew he needed a high vantage point to be able to locate the entrance. The only problem was however, that his current vantage point was not good enough.

A loud screeching pierced Shisui's ears. Looking up at the rainy sky he saw two rather ugly winged women that Shisui instantly recognised as the Harpies Sariel warned him about.

"There he is!" One of the Harpies cried out as she beelined towards Shisui's location. Activating his Sharingan he jump on the Harpies head, using her as a trampouline to reach the second and higher one.

The second Harpy screeched in annoyance as Shisui clung to her like glue. It was a risky strategy, but one that paid off nonetheless as he now had the vantage point he needed. Looking down on the castle he finally spotted the entrance to the Passage of the pure.

Shisui noticed the first harpy now flying towards him, and just managed to jump in the air to avoid a slash of her sharp claws.

"Uchiha Style! Dance of the Sun Halo!"

The two Hapries screamed in pain as their bodies were incinerated by Shisui's jutsu, leaving behind only steaming remains.

Jumpring through a window of a tower, Shisui ninja ran through the corridors of the castle, on his way though he saw what looked like some kind of monster holding a little girl hostage.

"You have two choices Shisui Uchiha. You can either try and be a 'hero' and save this worthless human, or you can fulfill your 'destiny' to become the Chief God's chosen one. Pick wisely, you don't have much time." The creature said.

Shisui bit his lip in frustration, he had to think quickly or else the girl would die, but on the other hand would possibly fail the trial.

"What the?" The creature muttered in suprise as it noticed it was the one now being held hostage by Shisui.

"Genjutsu." Shisui stated as he slashed the creatures throat, instead of blood the monster merely turned into a muddle of black goo.

Shisui was completely bemused by this. Remembering his mission though he quickly brushed aside his thoughts, taking the girl with him.

"I'm gonna get you someplace safe, I promise." Shisui declared to the frightened girl who was holding onto the young Uchiha for dear life.

Ninja jumping from tower to tower Shisui picked on a strange and yet...familiar aura.

Shisui's mind: (That chakra source...no it can't be!)

Shisui landed on the nearest solid ground. Scanning his surroundings he noticed that the air was soon enveloped by a thick Mist.

A figure soon walked through the mist which he recognized as-

"Nee-chan?" Shisui called out in suprise as he saw none other than Fumiko.

"How? How are you still alive?" Shisui asked in disbelief.

"Dear little brother, why do you care? You left me for dead after all." Fumiko remarked coldly as she lugned at Shisui. Brother and sister met in a clash of blades, an emotionally torn Shisui reluctantly dodged Fumiko's strikes. Inside Shisui was torn at being forced to fight his dear sister, and every counter became weaker and weaker until-

Slash

Fumiko slashed Shisui accross the cheek. In that moment of shock Fumiko also knocked Shisui's sword from his hand, disarming him in the process.

"Fumiko! Please stop this!" Shisui pleaded with his sister, hoping she would listen.

"And why should I listen to you?" She scoffed.

"..."

Shisui merely shyed his eyes away from his sister, unable to stand her hateful glare.

"Hmmph. Just what I thought." Fumiko said as she disarmed Shisui.

Any last words Shisui?" Fumiko asked coldly as she held her sword at Shisui's throat.

"I-I'm sorry nee-chan. I'm sorry that I couldn't protect you when you needed me the most." Shisui muttered

Shisui noticed the wavering anger in Fumiko's eyes, almost as if she was taking in what she said.

"Ever since that day, I've always blamed myself for what happened to you. I wish I could've changed the events of that day, but I can't. That's why ever since I've always made it my life goal to protect those closest to me." Shisui continued as tears streaked his eyes.

Without a second thought Shisui's sister embraced the young Uchiha tight hug.

"It's ok Shisui, I don't blame you for what happened that day." Fumiko whispered in his ear.

"Wha- How?" Shisui asked dumbfounded.

"Haven't you figured it out yet? I'm a part of your subconsciousness, a representation of the guilt you felt for my death." Fumiko revealed.

"Now matter how much you hid it under a false smile, the guilt you felt for my death ate you up inside. However it is because of said guilt why you have built such strong bonds with others, especially Sasha right?" She asked teasingly.

Shisui blushed bright red at the mention of Sasha's name. "I-It's not like that!" He blurted out.

"Ok, if you say so little brother." Fumiko said casually.

"Even from the Pure Land I will always watch over you Shisui, and no matter what I will always be proud of you. Goodbye." Fumiko said as a bright light enveloped her.

When the light disappeared, so did Fumiko. Shisui sighed in disappointment that his reunion with his sister had come to an abrupt end. Nonetheless her encouraging words had greatly uplifted him.

"Congratulations on passing the trials Shisui." Sariel's voice called out to him from above.

(Meanwhile in an unknown location)

"Heheh. Bring in the sacrifices." An authoritarian voice ordered.

Twenty women tied in ropes were brought into the chamber. The crowd were all jeering as the women tried to scream from their gagged mouths.

A man with brown hair tied at the sides stepped down from his seat. Smirking he made a scythe of bones from his arm.

"Release the gags from their mouth, I want to have fun with my prey first." The man ordered as his subordinates did as instructed, and untied and ungagged the women.

Laughing like a madman the man slashed all of the woman, making sure to only inflict non fatal injuries on them. The women all looked on in terror as they noticed something strange happen to the man.

He had cut himself with his bone scythe and made a circle with a triangle inside. His pale skin had turned jet black and white markings reminiscent to bones appeared on his body, giving him the appearance of a Shinigami.

"Curse Jutsu! Death Possession Blood!" The man cried out as he stabbed himself in the heart.

The ten women all began violently coughing up blood as their hearts too were also pierced. In a short time they all shriveled on the ground and passed away from blood loss.

"Praise be to Lord Jashin!" The man cried out.

"PRAISE BE TO LORD JASHIN!" The crowd followed in suit. Most of the people in the chamber were cheeringly merrily at the deaths of the ten women.

Most, the sole exception being a young boy with white hair looking on not in joy or sadistic pleasure, but in sadness.

Whilst the entire chamber and the man were celebrating their latest sacrifce, a figure adorned with a large wide brimmed hat, long black hair and maroon cloak rised from the ground beneath the man who had killed the woman.

"Yoshanai Kaguya..." The man called out to the individual now known as Yoshanai.

"Lord Jashin! To what do I owe the honour of you visiting me today?" Yoshanai asked respectfully as he bowed.

"I have come to inform to you of a new mission." Jashin announced.

"Ohh, and what would that be my lord?" Yoshanai asked eagerly.

"In three days time you and the Kaguya clan are to invade the Hidden Mist Village and convert them to the ways of Jashinism. Those who do not comply will be sacrificed, simple as that. Once we have the Hidden Mist under our control we shall use it as a setting stage to orchestrate our invasion of the Demon Realms to reclaim my throne. Under normal circumstances this would be suicide but since you and the entire clan have my blessing of immortality, I except that you will succeed without issue." Jashin announced.

Jashin noticed in the corner the small boy watching along sadly.

"Your son, Kimimaro. How is his conversion to Jashinism coming along?" Jashin asked.

"(Sigh) Not so well I'm afraid your Lord. Despite ordering his mother to be executed by his own hand, Kimimaro did not savor his kill like I advised him to. Instead he showed only remorse." Yoshanai answered, particularly spitting out the remorse part.

"Do not worry Yoshanai, he will come right eventually, it is only a matter of time. I will turn a blind eye to such a sin for now, but if he does not change soon he shall have to be put down." Jashin warned.

"I understand my Lord. I will not fail you." Yoshanai said as he bowed again before Jashin.

"Good. I advise that you use these three days to train Kimimaro. He will be a valuable asset to our conquest of the Hidden Mist and I sense a lot of potential in him." Jashin advised.

"I shall see you again near the Hidden Mist village in three days. I will be watching you all closely. Be warned though, I anticipate that Yagura will put up a ferocious fight and will not back down easily." Jashin added.

"Do not worry my Lord, I will personally mount Yagura and all of what's left of his precious little swordsmen's heads on pikes" Yoshanai declared smugly.

"Excellent. Good bye for now Yoshanai." Jashin said as he sand beneath the ground. Arriving back at his lair, Jashin lamented on how his life in exile had been since arriving in this world of shinobi nearly a thousand years ago.

(I will admit Lilith, for a lecherous whore you were smarter than I thought, teaming up with that champion of yours and overthrowing me when I least expected it. You did teach me many things though, that monsters have no true loyalty. I now understand why you and the Chief God loves humans so much, they possess unwavering loyalty if treated right. And that's why this time I shall have an army not of monsters, but humans who will help me reclaim my throne.)
