Tired and startled from what just transpired between himself and Aldana, Shisui finally arrived back home in Lescatie, and to say he was tired was an understatement.
A million thoughts were racing through his mind. What if other Valkyries or Angels knew of his true allegiance? Would they also kill him and Sasha if they did find out? What would happen to the Uchiha clan if he died again?
Deciding that he would confront those problems tomorrow, and also reminding himself how many allies he now already had Shisui untied his baby blue Forehead protector adorned with the Order cross and placed it on his bedside table. Too tired to change his clothes he fell onto his bed like a sack of potatoes, and slept right through the night.
Dawn broke over Lescatie, with Shisui being roused from his sleep by a gentle knocking from his door.
"Coming." Shisui groaned, as he groggily tied his forehead protector around his forehead and made his way toward the door to open it.
Standing in front of the door was a woman in plaid clothing with hear hair tied into a braid.
"Good morning Sir Shisui, I have a message to deliver to you from His Majesty King Castor. His Majesty humbly invites you to his annual Heroes ball that will be in at the Royal Palace." The woman announced.
Shisui was barely paying attention to the woman's words. He was still exhausted from last night's events.
"Heroes ball? But aren't Merse, Primera and Mimil currently on a mission? And won't be back until two weeks time?" Shisui asked the woman.
"That is correct Sir Shisui. The ball however will only begin once they have all arrived back here in Lescatie." The woman explained.
"Ah I see. Well then if that's the case, I accept the invitation." Shisui answered.
"Excellent! Then His Majesty looks forward to your arrival at the Heroes Ball Sir Shisui! Until then!" The woman stated happily as she walked away from Shisui's front door.
Still standing at the front of the door, Shisui's mind trailed back to last night. Truly it greatly worried him at how Aldana almost exposed him, and the potential consequences if he hadn't succeeded or worse, if other Valkyries or Angels knew.
Wasting no time, Shisui went to the only person in Lescatie who could currently help him right now, Sasha.
Less than a minute later he had arrived at the Orphanage, and what had become a routine by now gently knocked on the door.
A young boy of about 10 opened the door, who looked up to see none other than Shisui standing in front of him.
"Good morning. Is Sasha here?" Shisui asked the boy politely.
"N-no Sir Shisui! She left for the Heroes guild earlier this morning." The boy explained.
"Hmm I see." Shisui muttered as he used his body flicker technique to instantly disappear from sight.
The Heroes HQ was thankfully not too far away, and within no time Shisui had arrived there. Two guards stood in front of the entrance.
"Sir Shisui!" The guard on the right called out.
"Is Sasha here?" Shisui asked sternly.
"Yes. Lady Sasha is currently inside the building. Although a meeting is currently in place, so you have to wait until the meeting is over until you may meet her." The guard answered formally.
"Understandable." Shisui said as he activated his Sharingan, placing the guards under a genjutsu to give them the impression that he was never there in the first place
"Hiding with camouflage technique." Shisui whispered as his entire body blended in with his surroundings, rendering him essentially invisible.
Using his invisibility genjutsu, which made him untraceable, Shisui casually walked around the guards, found an alternative entrance to the HQ via a nearby open window and made his way towards the large oaken doors that hosted the meeting room of the heroes.
"Yes, and that's why we need to execute her tomorrow morning." Shisui heard Wilmarina's voice speak up.
"Is this really necessary Lady Wilmarina? Alameria has proven her loyalty to the Order, and herself even captured many monsters." Sasha's voice now objected.
"That is true. But it doesn't explain how most of monsters mysteriously disappeared hours after we threw them into the dungeons. Alameria has been proven to be an undercover agent working for the monsters." Wilmarina stated firmly.
"I'm not surprised honestly, half breeds like her have no true loyalty." Vermut's voice snarkily remarked.
"But..." Sasha's voice trailed off, sounding desperate.
"There are not buts Lady Sasha. Lady Wilmarina's word is final, and that half breed traitor Alameria shall be executed tomorrow at sunrise." Vermut said coldly.
"The evidence against Alameria is overwhelming Lady Sasha. She was caught read handed attempting to bite and suck her squire's blood. This session is now dismissed." Wilmarina declared, as Sasha sighed in defeat.
The large oaken doors swung open, with Shisui making sure to chakra walk onto the ceiling to avoid bumping into the heroes. Sasha finally walked down downtrodden.
Shisui closely followed Sasha and quickly noticed she was heading back to the Orphanage, it was at this time that Shisui decided to dispel the genjutsu and make his presence known.
"S-Shisui?" Sasha muttered in surprise.
"Yes it's me. There is something important I need to tell you, let's head back to the Orphanage." Shisui said.
A few silent minutes had passed as Sasha and Shisui made their way back to the Orphanage, with a few onlookers either offering words of praise or simply ignoring them and going on with their day.
"I heard what happened with Alameria. Are they really gonna execute her tomorrow?" Shisui whispered to Sasha.
"Yes I'm afraid so. I tried to persuade Wilmarina not to go through with the execution. But my pleas fell on deaf ears unfortunately." Sasha replied sadly. Shisui wanted to speak, but noticed that since he and Sasha were still in Lescatie's streets, mentioning the Demon Lord's daughters would certainly arouse great suspicion from the citizens of Lescatie.
Finally arriving at the Orphanage, and then Sasha's office, Shisui made sure to place a silencer jutsu to ensure no one outside the room could hear their conversation.
"Sasha, I've been waiting to ask you, why don't you just ask Druella to send someone to rescue her?" Shisui asked Sasha.
"I can't, it's too dangerous to do so. Last night Lady Aldana almost caught me giving information to the monsters, and ever since then I've been watched 24/7." Sasha explained.
"Wait, did you say Aldana?" Shisui asked.
"Yes I did." Sasha replied.
"Last night she tried to kill me. I managed to sub due her with my Kotoamatsukami and used my shadow clones to take her to Maylin." Shisui explained.
"What?" Sasha muttered in disbelief.
"Yep." Shisui replied, as Sasha embraced him into a tight hug.
"Shisui, I'm so sorry for dragging you into this and nearly getting you killed!" Sasha apologised.
"Sasha. You don't need to apologise. I made a promise didn't I? And besides, I chose to help you." Shisui reminded her.
"That is true. But still, I wouldn't be able to live with myself if something bad ever happened to you Shisui!"
"Sasha. I said don't worry, I'll be fine. If anything I'm more worried for you and the orphans." Shisui told Sasha as he gave her a reassuring hug.
"You and everyone in the orphanage, you are all my family now. I would gladly put my life on the line if it means protecting the people I care for." Shisui said.
"Thank you Shisui...it still amazes me how despite most of your life being filled with sadness, you never lost your good heart."
"It's my pleasure Sasha. It's my duty to be the pillar of strength for those who need it." Shisui said.
"So Shisui...did you manage to find your clan yesterday?" Sasha asked the young Uchiha.
"Yes I did thankfully. I was even more fortunate to get into contact with my best friend Itachi. I told him to meet me at the same place today, so that we may plan how to safely bring my clan here to this world." Shisui answered.
"That's excellent news Shisui!" Sasha said happily.
"It's all thanks to you and Druella that this could even be possible. And if I may be honest, for the first time in years I feel...hopeful." Shisui commented as he looked out the window.
"That's good to hear. I would further assist you in bringing your clan here, but unfortunately I need to oversee the orphanage and to make sure the liberation of Lescatie goes smoothly."
"That's fine. You already did more than enough to help me get into contact with my clan again Sasha, so please don't stress yourself more than you already need to." Shisui told her.
"Hehe. You know Shisui, the way you're so overprotective of me one would think that you are my older brother or father." Sasha said jokingly. Her smile immediately disappeared when she noticed the young Uchiha now wearing a woeful expression on his face.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you upset." Sasha apologised.
"No need to apologise. It's just...I can't risk losing you like how I lost my sister..." Shisui replied in a rare sorrowful tone.
"I understand how much your sister meant to you Shisui. But rest assured that she is definitely smiling down upon you with tremendous pride." Sasha said reassuringly.
"Another thought worries me Sasha. Everyone here in Lescatie, they look up to me and see me as their hero. But I ask myself, what if one day they expect me to be there for them and I'm not?" Shisui worryingly asked Sasha.
"Then the people whom you have inspired will stand up against whatever threat they might face in your absence. The populace of Lescatie truly look up to you Shisui. In such a short amount of time you had made such a big difference." Sasha wisely replied. Shisui smiled at Sasha's answer, truly it warmed his heart knowing how inspirational he was to the people of Lescatie
"I see. Don't worry though, I won't be defeated so easily." Shisui proudly stated.
Shisui's mind: (And also, to not get ambushed like last time...)
"That's good to hear, is there anything else on your mind you'd like to talk about Shisui?" Sasha kindly asked.
'No...I'm good for now thanks. I need to get ready for later today." Shisui answered politely.
"No problem. Good luck Shisui." Sasha said.
"Thank you Sasha, and take care ok?" Shisui told Sasha, as he departed her office.
(A few hours later...)
Afternoon had finally arrived in Lescatie. For most citizens their day was almost over and were preparing to head home for the day. For a certain Uchiha though that was not the case.
Double checking that he had all the gear he needed, Shisui looked at his reflection in the mirror. Thoughts of excitement and nervousness raged through Shisui's mind. Everything was so close from going right, yet it was also so close from going wrong. It also didn't help that Shisui also needed to rescue Alameria before sunrise tomorrow, or else she would be executed.
Sighing softly Shisui collected the amulet Maylin had gifted him, and used it to teleport to the entrance of her chambers.
As Shisui was about to knock on the door, a loud moan came from the other side of the door. The moan was not one of distress or pain, but rather one of pleasure.
Confused Shisui pondered on whether he should simply wait outside or knock now, deciding to do the latter Shisui gently knocked on the door.
"C-coming!" Ghilanna's voice muttered out as various shifting noises were heard from the other side. The door opened to reveal a rather dopey looking Ghilanna, whom upon seeing Shisui made her face light up.
"Shisui! You're here!" Ghilanna cried out in joy as she hugged the Young Uchiha. Shisui returned the hug back, having grown rather fond of Ghilanna's affection.
"I know why you're here." Ghilanna told Shisui in an uncharacteristic serious tone, which even suprised Shisui.
"I can't imagine what you are going through, but I promise that no matter what, I will be there for you. That's why I want to help you bring your clan here." Ghilanna assured Shisui.
Shisui pondered on Ghilanna's words, they had struck a chord with him and made him realise one very important fact; that he had placed the burden of safely escorting the Uchihas to the mamono world all on himself. Shisui realised that his drive to be the one to help others made him forget that he cannot do everything himself.
"Thank you... Ghilanna." Shisui said from the bottom of his heart.
"It's my pleasure Shisui. You have suffered so much in life and you deserve happiness." Ghilanna told Shisui as she continued to embrace him.
"Ahem" Maylin made a coughing sound to capture the attention of Shisui and Ghilanna.
"My apologies for that Lady Maylin." Ghilanna apologised sheepishly.
"It is alright Ghilanna. I understand how deeply you care about Shisui." Maylin replied.
"Now Shisui, are you ready?" Maylin asked him.
"Yes." Shisui replied confidently.
A short time later, Shisui, Ghilanna and Maylin made their way towards the so-called "Windows of the World" where yesterday Shisui had managed to get back in contact with Itachi. During the short walk to the room, Maylin explained to Shisui that in Order to create a perfectly stable portal back to his world, she would need the help of at least five other magical beings with the same magical power as her. Shisui brought up Anamona, the Titania wife of Nawaki Senju.
"She can certainly help in creating the portal, however that still leaves four more individuals." Maylin reminded Shisui.
"What about Lady Amelia and her sisters?" Ghilanna spoke up.
"Ah yes! I had completely forgotten about them!" Maylin said in astonishment.
"Lady Amelia does have six other sisters, so that should be more than enough to help create the portal." Ghilanna stated.
"Indeed. While I did state we need a minimum of six magical beings to succesfully create the portal, the more individuals we have, the more stable the portal shall be." Maylin stated.
"Alright, we're here." Maylin announced as she opened the door to the plain white room. Reciting the same procedure as yesterday, Shisui stood in the centre of the room along with Maylin, held her hands and closed his eyes shut, making sure to concentrate on the cliff above the Naka river.
"Lady Maylin! You almost forgot t drink the doppelganger potion!" Ghilanna shouted, snapping Shisui out of his concentration.
"Hehe, you're right. My apologies for that, and thank you Ghilanna." Maylin said as she took a glass bottle containing a bluish green liquid.
"What is that?" Shisui asked.
"It's a doppelganger potion. It allows one who drinks it to create perfect clones of themselves, who will be around for as long as 12 hours if you drink the full bottle. But since me, you and Ghilanna only need to drink sips it shall be for 4 hours." Maylin explained.
"Also, it's because I am aware that you and Sasha are planning to rescue Alameria tonight, and your real self will need to be there." Maylin added.
"Yeah! That is actually ingenious thank you Maylin." Shisui said happily.
"Although how did you know I needed to rescue Almeria tonight?" Shisui asked.
"Hehe, a high ranking Elf such as myself knows many things Shisui." Maylin said cheekily as she winked playfully.
Chuckling softly Shisui decided not to press the matter any further, and opening his arms whilst closing his eyes he felt Maylin's warm hands hold onto his own, and began to concentrate on the cliff that overlooked the Naka river.
Shisui's mind: (Itachi, I hope you're there.)
Shisui fluttered his eyes open to see the last embers of sunlight flicker over the cliff that overlooked the Naka river, and to his relief and joy noticed none other than Itachi Uchiha waiting there anxiously for him.
"Itachi, I'm here." Shisui said calmly, as he, Maylin and Ghilanna stepped though the portal.
"Shisui. I'm here as promised. " Itachi announced to his best friend.
"Who are those two women beside you?" Itachi asked Shisui.
"The blonde woman to my right is Maylin. She is the Queen of Monaxia, a Kingdom populated by a race similar to humans called Elves. The woman with the greenish blonde hair and purple eyes to my left is Ghilanna, she's one of Maylin's personal handmaidens and is quite a skilled swordswoman herself." Shisui explained
"I see. I'm glad that you had finally managed to find some allies. A pleasure to meet you Queen Maylin, and Miss Ghilanna" Itachi said in relief as he politely greeted the two Elven women.
"A pleasure to meet you as well Itachi." Maylin said as she shook Itachi's hand.
"So..." Itachi muttered as he breathed in deeply.
"How do we go forth to bring the clan without anyone in Konoha noticing?" He asked nervously.
"Simple really. A remote part of the forest just outside the village. We can create the portal there and to increase the likelihood of success, it shall be done at night and I will aslo bring along some kunoichi from our world." Maylin stated.
"That could work. But what if Danzo or worse, Lord Fourth discovers our plan and tries to prevent us from leaving?" Itachi asked Maylin.
"If it is this Lord Fourth of yours, whom I heard from Shisui is a very reasonable man, I shall simply explain to him that the Uchiha clan shall be relocating elsewhere due to the tensions between them and the Hidden Leaf Village. If it is that Danzo person I shall also try to convince him, and if he does not desire to allow the clan to leave then I will have no choice but to simply subdue him." Maylin explained.
"I see. If that is the case then the plan shall proceed smoothly. The only problem now is to convince the Uchiha to go through with the plan." Itachi stated.
"You make a good point. They are a stubborn bunch, and since they believe you murdered me they will not agree to go through with the plan if you tell them, which is why I want you to organise a meeting at the Uchiha hideout so that I may tell them in person." Shisui said.
"I won't need to, the clan is having a meeting tonight so may reveal yourself to them then. Even so, are you certain they will listen to you? Remember you're still a dead man in their eyes, and if you show up at the hideout they will think you're a spy of the Hokage pretending to be you." Itachi reminded Shisui.
Shisui thought carefully about about Itachi's words. His clan's stubbornness did irritate him from time to time. While he was deep in thought, Ghilanna placed a hand on his shoulder.
"Don't worry, me and Maylin will accompany you to protect you and to convince the Uchihas that you are telling the truth, me and Maylin will also present ourselves to them alongside you." Ghilanna told Shisui.
"That's an excellent idea Ghilanna" Shisui said in delight.
"I agree, excellent thinking Ghilanna." Maylin added.
"If I may add, you said that this meeting is tonight Itachi?" Maylin asked.
"Yes. Which means you will all have to lay low until night arrives." Itachi answered Maylin.
"That won't be a problem. Just escort us to the hideout and we shall make sure everything goes smoothly." Maylin said.
Fortunately for the group, the sun had set within an hour of their arrival in the shinobi world. Doing as promised Itachi secretly escored Shisui, Ghilanna and Maylin to the Uchiha hideout in the quiet forest night.
"So Shisui, how exactly did you survive your fall?" Itachi asked his best friend.
"I didn't. I was about to reach the Pure Land until a being known in Maylin and Ghilanna's world as an Angel offered to bring me back to life and in turn I was to become part of an organisation called the Order and hunt down 'monsters'." Shisui told Itachi.
"I see. So this how did this 'Order' treat you?" Itachi asked.
"They treated me well, and even gifted me a house in a city state named Lescatie that is ruled by them. As the days went by, I slowly realised that the government of Lescatie was no better than the Konoha council, and that they hid the fact from me that the 'monsters' that they had instructed me to kill were instead benevolent beings who only desire a peaceful co-existence." Shisui said in a disappointed tone.
"I'm sorry to hear that Shisui." Was all Itachi could say, as he noticed his best friends demeanour subtly change to that of a subtle anger he had rarely seen in him.
"Most of those higher up bastards in that city are no better than Danzo. Truth be told I sometimes that instead of mercilessly cutting down beings who want nothing than to live with them, that those pricks would have to fight the Hidden Stone or the Hidden Cloud and learn just how cruel they can be." Shisui remarked bitterly.
"Shisui! I understand your anger, but do not let it cloud your judgement. There are still many good people in the Order, and the actions of a few is not a justification to wish the suffering on those who are innocent." Maylin scolded Shisui, which was said with such authority that even Itachi was suprised.
"Yes Maylin...sorry about that." Shisui apologised in a low voice, ashamed at allowing his emotions to boil over like that.
"Hey uh Itachi, is that the hideout?" Ghilanna asked as she pointed toward a large building poked through the treeline.
"Yes it is." Itachi answered as Shisui, Maylin and Ghilanna all stealthily made their way inside the hideout while he made his way towards the entrance, where a group of Uchihas had gathered.
"Itachi is here! Open the door!" An Uchiha clansmen called out as the doors to the hideout had swung open. The clansmen and clanswomen of the Uchiha all proceeded to make their way inside, with Itachi doing likewise until-
"What took you so long? The clan has been waiting for you for nearly fifteen minutes." A female voice called out to Itachi.
"Naori? I'm sorry. I was at the cliff overlooking the Naka river and lost track of time..." Itachi wistfully answered.
Naori sighed, knowing the exact reason why Itachi was at the cliff that overlooked the Naka river. "I understand losing someone close to you isn't easy, but it's been over a month now since Shisui passed away. You have to move on and make peace with it Itachi. I don't want you becoming like Kakashi." Naori warned Itachi.
"Yes. I understand Naori. I apologise for being late again." Itachi apologised, which he accompanied with a slight bow.
"Please Itachi, try and avoid being late again so as to not upset your father or the clan any further." Naori said to Itachi.
"Come on, the meeting is about to start." Naori told Itachi as the two stood inside of the Uchiha crowd. Looking up Itachi saw that his father standing on a podium ready to speak, with various Uchiha elders sitting behind him.
"My fellow Uchiha! Tonight we all gather here under a common purpose: To overthrow the Senju dominated Konoha government that had long discriminated against us and, despite many of our clansmen loyally fighting and dying for Konoha, they still continue to treat us like outsiders!" Fugaku roared as the Uchiha clan erupted into loud cheers, with some shouting various anti-Konoha and anti-Senju remarks.
"Do not worry, for in 7 days our second class statehood in the Hidden Leaf shall end as we shall finally overthrow the Leaf council and rule the Hidden Leaf, just as the Legendary Madara Uchiha envisioned for our clan!" Fugaku declared strongly as he raised a fist into the air.
"That is not going to happen." Shisui's spoke up, as Itachi and the rest of the Uchiha look towards the roof of the hideout to see Shisui standing on a support beam accompanied by two women with pointed ears.
"No way. Yashiro, is that really him...?" One Uchiha clan member asked another.
"No Tekka, that is obviously a ninja sent by the Fourth to spy on us." The other clansmen named Yashiro answered.
Shisui stepped down from the support beam, and despite the many glaring sharingan eyes staring at him with utmost suspicion, Shisui cleared his throat and prepared to speak.
Or would've, had one Uchiha not be holding a kunai to his throat.
"Inabi! it's really me!" Shisui pleaded with the man now known as Inabi.
"Lies! Who sent you? Was it that puppet Minato or that scumbag Danzo?" Inabi interrogated Shisui as he pressed the kunai even closer to his throat.
"Shisu-" Ghilanna wanted to call out, but had her mouth covered by Maylin.
"Do not worry, Shisui has everything under control, and if we intervene now, it will only make the Uchiha distrust us." Maylin warned the young Elf girl.
"If I am an imposter, would I be able to do this?" Shisui asked Inabi as he activated his Mangekyo Sharingan. All the Uchihas in the hideout, minus Itachi, gasped as they saw with their own eyes that in front of them was not an impostor as initially believed, but the real Shisui Uchiha.
"N-no way, but Itachi...the village council...all said you were dead?" Inabi asked in disbelief.
"Yeah! How did you come back from the dead? And why did you abandon us when we needed you the most?" Tekka now asked.
The other Uchiha all followed suit in overwhelming Shisui with questions, which got to such a point that Fugaku had to step in.
"Silence! All of you!" He ordered the clan, who all complied instantly.
"Shisui, there is no doubt that it is you, but I must ask, what exactly happened after your supposed death?" Fugaku asked.
"It's a long story Lord Fugaku, are you ready to listen to it?" Shisui asked Fugaku, who nodded yes.
"Alright." Shisui breathed in deep, as all the Uchiha were ready to listen attentively to his story.
"To begin with, you will all most likely despise me for this, but to move forward and to gain your trust I do not want to hide anything from you all. I used to be a double agent for Lord Fourth, and he had ordered me to use my Kotoamatsukami on Lord Fugaku to stop the clan from going through with the coup." Shisui admitted.
"You traitor!" One clansmen shouted.
"Damn you two faced snake!" Another shouted.
"Any Uchiha who uses their Sharingan on one of their own doesn't deserve to be an Uchiha!" A third clansmen shouted.
"Silence! Shisui has not finished his explanation, and while I myself am seething with anger at this revelation, I shall allow him to finish, and you all shall do likewise." Fugaku instructed the angered Uchiha.
"I was planning on going through with my plan, until Danzo requested that we meet just outside the entrance of an old temple. It was then that I realised that Danzo had set me up, and initially planned to take my eye for himself. I placed him under a genjutsu and walked away until he used the forbidden Izanagi to steal my right eye." Shisui said, as the entire room was filled with gasps.
"That bastard...I'll kill him! No lower bastards will steal an eye from the Uchiha clan!" Inabi declared with an activated Sharingan.
"Inabi..control your emotions. If you kill Danzo now, that will only give the council an excuse to wipe us all out." Itachi told Inabi.
"You have nerve to speak to me you snake! I wouldn't be suprised if you were also a mole for the Fourth Hokage!" Inabi spat out as he aggressively tugged at Itachi's shirt.
A woman's hand, which belonged to none other than Naori Uchiha's, firmly grasped Inabi's.
"Inabi. You will stop this foolish behaviour of yours now. You are playing right into the leaf council and Danzo's trap, can you not see that they want us to be divided amongst ourselves so it would be easier for them to take us out?" Naori said to Inabi, who finally seemed to calm down at her advice.
"I see...you are right Naori..." Inabi apologised as he retreated from Itachi.
Dusting himself off, Itachi spoke up to ask his best friend a question he had been eagerly wanting an answer to.
"Shisui. You said that Danzo stole your right eye? If so, how did you regain it?" Itachi asked Shisui.
To Shisui, this was the question he was dreading most, but to clear up everything and wanting to be completely transparent with the clan, he knew he would have to eventually answer his question.
"(Sigh) Alright. A few hours after Danzo stole my right eye, I believed that then a peaceful solution between the tensions of our clan and the council was no longer possible. So I asked Itachi to meet me at the cliff overlooking the Naka river, and there I gifted him my last eye, which I placed inside of a crow, and jumped off the cliff to my death." Shisui answered, finally feeling relived that he got that out of the way.
"Alright. But why did you not come to us when Danzo stole your eye? We could've made a case to the Fourth to finally get him either arrested or executed." Fugaku asked Shisui.
"Yes, why did you not come to us?" Yashiro now asked.
"I was...I wasn't thinking straight. Back then I was so convinced that all hope was lost and that there was nothing I could do." Shisui admitted.
"When I died though, I saw things I had never I thought I would see. I had been to the other side, seen otherworldly beings how could do jutsu that no human could ever do. These beings, known as Angels, gave me both of my eyes back." Shisui explained to the clan. For the next 10 minutes Shisui explained his endeavors in Lescatie, how he was made a hero of the Order by King Castor, how he had met Sasha and had his first encounters with monsters.
"What exactly are these monsters?" Fugaku asked Shisui as he had his arms folded.
"I'll show you. Maylin! Ghilanna! You may introduces yourselves now!" Shisui instructed the Elven duo. Maylin and Ghilanna gracefully jumped from the support beam of the hideout, landing gracefully right next to Shisui.
"Good evening to you all. I am Queen Maylin." Maylin gracefully introduced herself
"And I am Ghilanna Qinmaer, Lady Maylin's personal Handmaiden and bodyguard." Ghilanna introduced herself.
Fugaku stared at the two with suspicious eyes. The first unusual thing he noticed about these woman was their ears, why were they like that he asked himself and even activated his Sharingan to examine their chakra networks, what he saw left him speechless.
"What is wrong with you both? I sence a strange energy in you both, but it is not chakra, what is it?" Fugaku asked bewildered.
"Do not be afraid Lord Fugaku. The energy coursing through my and Ghilanna's bodies is called Demonic Energy. It is an energy source very prominent in our world and in many ways is similar to chakra, but also very different to it as well." Maylin explained.
"I see. Would you care to explain how this 'Demonic Energy' works?" Fugaku asked.
"It functions very similar to your world's chakra, and can help heal even the most severe of wounds and bring life to the most barren of lands. I take it you are familiar with the concept of Yin and Yang?" Maylin asked Fugaku.
"Yes I am." Fugaku answered sternly.
"In our universe, Demonic Energy, which is the life force of mamono such as myself and Ghilanna, is the Yin to the Spirit Energy that is present in humans, especially human men." Maylin explained.
"I see. But how is this 'Spirit Energy' related to Demonic Energy?" Fugaku asked again.
"For us mamono Spirit Energy is the most delicious food for us mamono, and for some mamono it represents most of their diet. The only thing though is...that Spirit Energy is most potent in the Sperm of a human male." Maylin said whilst blushing deeply.
The entire hideout erupted into various "aahhs" and "whats", with some clansmen and clanswomen fainting in pure disbelief.
"She cannot be serious...can she?" Itachi muttered under his breath.
"I believe she is." Naori relied nonchalantly as she shook her head.
Fugaku managed to retain his calm disposition, although it was clearly evident in his face that he was not expecting that answer.
"Ahem. Well... that is rather peculiar." Was all the Uchiha clan head could say.
"Please do not fret Lord Fugaku. While our method of obtaining Spirit Energy is rather unusual, I can assure you that it does not cause death or permanent injuries to the male." Maylin answered Fugaku, reassuring him that she and her kind meant no harm.
"Alright. You do not seem like the type who deceives others Lady Maylin, and if Shisui is vouching for you then I shall take your word." Fugaku stated.
"However, You never explicity stated why are you here. What are your intentions?" Fugaku asked in a passive aggressive manner.
"Lord Fugaku, may I speak up?" Shisui requested.
"Yes you may." Fugaku said, giving Shisui permission to speak.
"Maylin's kind. The mamono. I've been among them and despite their unusual method of acquiring Spirit Energy, they truly and genuinely care about humans." Shisui said to Fugaku as he kneeled. I told Maylin about how the village continues to mistreat us, and wants to have us all wiped from the face of the Earth. What I request is that the entire Uchiha clan leave the Hidden Leaf and live in Maylin's world where we will no longer face discrimination and be allowed to live our lives as we see fit." Shisui pleaded to Fuagku.
"While I want to believe you Shisui. This all sounds too good to be true." Fugaku objected, as he crossed his arms.
"Please Lord Fugaku! They will kill every single Uchiha man, woman and child if we choose to go through with the coup. This is the only way to ensure that no one will die!" Shisui pleaded again, as tears freely streaked from his cheeks.
Fugaku bared his gaze at Shisui, and although the Uchiha clan head was notorious for his cold and distant attitude towards others, in this moment he showed a rare moment of empathy for another.
"Hmmm. I sense your sincerity. And it is a well known fact that you are one of the most loyal clan members. So as clan head I shall accept your offer to relocate the clan to this other world." Fugaku announced.
"Thank you, Lord Fugaku." Shisui said as he bowed respectfully.
"On behalf of the Kingdom of Monaxia and all of monsterkind, I truly appreciate your willingness to trust us Lord Fugaku. I assure you that the entire Uchiha clan shall be treated with the utmost dignity and respect upon arriving in my world." Maylin announced.
From the crowd of Uchihas, Itachi smirked in satisfaction. Making his way up the stage and towards Shisui, he placed his hand on his shoulder.
"It seems you finally found some trustworthy friends Shisui. If this all works out you will forever be known as the saviour of the Uchiha." Itachi told his best friend.
"Yeah. We're so close Itachi. If all goes as planned, we can truly live in peace, and Sasuke won't have to experience the hardships of war and being a shinobi." Shisui replied in a hopeful tone.
"Speaking of, is Sasuke alright?" Shisui asked.
"Yes he is. He's currently asleep at my home with my mother watching over him." Itachi replied.
"That's good to hear.." Shisui stated.
"Shisui, I want to talk to you outside. There is something important I need to tell you. Will you have time to meet me outside soon?" Itachi requested.
"Yeah I will. I'll be waiting outside for you until then." Shisui announced as he used the body flicker technique to teleport himself to the entrance of the hideout.
"So Miss Maylin. How do you plan on evacuating the entire clan to this other world without anyone in Konoha noticing?" Fugaku asked Maylin, as he now lit a pipe to smoke.
"It is simple Lord Fugaku. The entire clan shall traverse through a large portal, which I and approximately six other being of similar magical power shall keep open to allow safe passage for the Uchiha clan. Said portal shall be activated in a remote area of the forest far away from the Village Hidden in the Leaves to ensure that neither the Hokage, his subordinates nor this Danzo person do not discover this plan, which henceforth shall be known as Operation Exodus."
Whilst Maylin continued to explain her plan to the entire clan, Ghilanna merely confined to look at Shisui in complete awe, which did not go unnoticed by Tekka and Inabi.
"Hey Inabi, do you think that girl with the purple eyes has the hots for Shisui?" Tekka asked Inabi.
"Without a doubt that girl is head over heels for Shisui. One does not need their Sharingan to see that." Inabi replied.
A few minutes had passed since the declaration of Operation Exodus, and with it most Uchiha were celebrating at the prospect at leaving the village under everyone's noses.
Except for Itachi Uchiha, who was patiently waiting outside for Shisui to arrive.
A few minutes later, and Shisui did indeed arrive as promised.
"Shisui. I need to tell you something important. But I cannot let the clan know, at least not yet." Itachi stated.
"Hmm? So what is it that you need to tell me this in private?" Itachi replied curiously.
"When I was orchestrating on how to kill the entire clan. Two figures approached me offering their assistance. The first was a masked man with only one eye, he offered to help me eliminate the clan in exchange that I join a group of rouge shinobi called the Akatsuki." Itachi revealed to Shisui.
"This masked man, did you accept his offer?" Shisui asked.
"No. I told him I would think about it. A few days had passed and another man with pale white skin and spiky white hair approached me. He introduced himself as 'Lord' Jashin. He told me that if I had offered to swear allegiance to him and kill every Uchiha in his name, that he would grant me immortality." Itachi further revealed.
Shisui was about to speak, but before any words could leave his mouth, a humanoid figure dropped by right next to them. This was Ghilanna, and her usual cheery and positive disposition had now become one of extreme worry.
"Itachi. Did you just say Jashin had offered you a chance to join him?" She asked in a concerned, almost panicked tone.
"Yes, I did." Itachi replied in a deadpan tone.
"Itachi...that is not good. Sadistic and cruel are understatements to describe Jashin. In my world, he was the previous Demon Lord before Lilith. He was the personification of pure evil. If he is here, then Lady Maylin and Lilith need to know of this immediately." Ghilanna told Shisui and Itachi in a hushed tone.
Itachi's usual emotionless face now turned into one of concern and worry. From what Ghilanna had just told him, Itachi had just dodged a major bullet. But also he had a gut feeling that Jashin was not about to leave him alone just yet.
"Itachi...I hate to tell this to you but...Jashin does not take kindly to those who deny his offers. And he definitely will come back to finish you off." Ghilanna warned.
"I will keep that in mind." Itachi assured Ghilanna.
"Good. Itachi, take this mirror." Ghilanna told Itachi as she handed him a hand mirror, which Itachi accepted.
"What is this?" Itachi asked.
"It's an enchanted interdimensional communication mirror that allows people to keep in touch while in different dimensions. The real Shisui currently has the other mirror, so you will be able to keep touch with him at all times." Ghilanna explained.
"The real Shisui? What do you mean? He's right here." Itachi stated as he gestured towards Shisui.
"I'm a clone of the real Shisui. The real me is currently on a rescue mission to free a Dhampir from a Order prison. The doppelganger potion's effect is about to run out. It was great meeting you again Itachi. And remember use that mirror to communicate with the real me." The clone Shisui advised as he and Ghilanna slowly disappeared, not before waving goodbye.
(With Indra and Orochimaru...)
Two days had passed since Indra and Orochimaru had massacred the entire village, Magnus and Seven included, which was supposedly being invaded by monsters. The duo had arrived back at the Adventurer's guild and gave a fake sob story of how by the time they got to the village, the entire population were already dead. They further explained that upon arriving at the scene the mamono brutally killed Magnus and Seven, and despite successfully eliminating the mamono presence they were left as the only survivors.
The receptionist informed them that due to Magnus and Seven dying on the mission, the two would both receive their shares of the reward. Word of Indra and Orochimaru's heroic stand against the merciless monsters spread like wildfire throughout the Order continent, and soon the duo were regarded as heroes and champions of the Order.
The duo of Brother Lars and Brother Hiroshi however had other plans in mind, and that was to ambush a certain Order garrison from Lescatie.
"So are you sure that's the group Seven's device stated as being from Lescatie?" Indra asked Orochimaru, as they hid in the trees.
"Yes. especially since a few of the more famous heroes the device had information and photographs of, are down there." Orochimaru replied.
"I see. So do you remember the plan?" Indra asked Orochimaru with a raised eyebrow.
"I do indeed. I turn into my White Snake form, "injure" you to make it seem as if I attacked you first and was about to kill you, then the Lescatie heroes come and save the day, taking you with them." Orochimaru said in a very happy tone.
"Here they come, ready?" Indra asked, with Orochimaru nodding yes.
Turning into his true form, that of a enormous grotesque white snake, Orochimaru viciously "attacked" Indra, causing him to "bleed" profusely in his abdomen area and right arm.
Indra screamed as loud as he could, making sure that the garrison of Order soldiers could hear him loud and clear. As intended, the garrison did indeed hear Indra's screams, and they all took out their weapons in caution.
"Did you all hear that?" Merse asked her garrison, as she readied her halberd for combat.
"I did indeed Lady Merse. The screams came from that direction." Primera stated, as she approached the source of the screams with extreme caution.
A soft rustling of leaves was heard, and the garrison were prepared for the worst, only accept...
It was a certain "priest" that had come out of the foliage with his clothes mostly torn and his abdomen and right arm bleeding profusely.
"Run...away..." Indra croaked weakly as he looked at the garrison with pleading eyes, before collapsing onto the ground due to blood loss. The garrison were about to run to help Indra, until a giant white snake emerged from the forest as well, with killing intent in it's eyes.
"Monster! Watch out!" Merse warned her soldiers. Primera was the first to act by firing a hail of arrows at the giant snake form of Orochimaru, who dodged them all with ease.
"No way...it can't be..." Primera muttered in disbelief.
"It can be. Now move aside." A certain pink haired young girl cheekily replied back as she readied her wand.
Orochimaru's mind: (Hmmmm. So many potential targets. That one with the grey hair reminds me a lot of Anko, but lacks much potential. The pink haired brat has potential, but she lacks the necessary darkness in her heart. The green haired one however...has both potential and darkness in her heart. She will make an excellent potential future host for me...kukukuku)
A lightning bolt struck the ground were Orchimaru's snake body stood, causing it to burst into flames and flail around. Mimil smirked at her victory, only for the snake to scatter into several smaller snakes. Mimil looked on complete shock as the smaller snakes merely reformed into his larger snake form. Orochimaru's snake body rammed into Mimil like a freight train, slamming her into a nearby tree and knocking her out cold immediately.
Primera looked on in horror at how easily this snake creature just tossed aside Mimil as if she were nothing. Again in vain Primera attempted to fire arrows at this monstrosity. However what it did next caught everyone by surprise. The snake's head moved at a horrifically quick speed, so much so that Primera's mind had barely even registered what had just happened to her.
The snake had just sunk it's teeth into her neck.
She had been bitten.
For a good 5 seconds the snake just continued to sink it's teeth into Primera's neck, until finally releasing them from her neck. What Primera felt next was a wave of unbearable searing pain that felt as though a newly forged sword had been pressed against her neck. She screamed at the top of her lungs as she placed her hand where she had been bitten.
"Primera!" a certain redheaded teenager called out in worry as one of the first individuals to make it to Primera. Despite Elt's best attempts at easing Primera's pain by allowing her head to rest on his hand, she continued screaming. Elt soon noticed that a weird mark that had the appearance of three comma marks had now appeared on Primera's neck
"What the? What is that mark?" Elt asked as he inspected it.
"Captain, we need to head back to Lescatie! Two of our soldiers have been incapacitated by that monster and that man is currently on death's door!" One of the soldiers said in an urgent tone.
"I see. Men! Abort the mission! We need to head back to Lescatie now!" Merse ordered her men. Two knights made their way towards Indra and pulled out a healing potion for Indra to drink. Indra greedily drank the potion and almost instantly was much better, but not at 100%.
"Thank you...I at least feel strong enough to walk now..." Indra muttered as he groggily stood up, with his wounds now almost completely healed.
"It is a pleasure. Especially so since we saved a fellow human from the clutches of those monsters." One of the knights replied.
Once another knight picked up the unconscious Mimil and Elt carried Primera, who had now also fallen into unconsciousness bridal style, the garrison now departed back to Lescatie.
An hour had passed since the white snake incident, and the mood was currently that of uncertainly, fear and anger.
"I never got your name back there, what is it if I may ask?" One of the knights spoke up, trying to lightened the mood.
"Lars Ravenwillow. But you may call me Brother Lars." Indra answered.
"I see. A pleasure to meet you Brother Lars. So what were you doing in this part of the forest? This is deep monster territory you know." The knight asked again.
"I am a Friar of the Chief God. Well to be more specific I'm a travelling missionary, as besides spreading the word of the Chief God I also hunt down monsters."
The knights gasped in awe. "I see. Well then even more thankful that we saved you brother." The knight said.
"If I may ask, are you from Lescatie?" Indra asked curiously.
"Yes we are. We were on an expedition to rid a nearby village of monsters, but unfortunately as you can see, two of our heroes were gravely injured and thus we cannot continue our mission and head back." The knight explained.
"Lovely. I was just about to head there, when that snake attack me and my partner Brother Hiroshi Fukamoto. Unfortunately I do not know if Brother Hiroshi is still alive or not, as he before he could use a spell to strike down that beast, a group of Orcs ambushed him. I would have helped him, but the snake bit me on my abdomen and arm, severely injuring me." Indra said as he gestured towards the gaping holes where his injuries had formerly been.
"That's terrible. Do not worry Brother Lars, once we get back to Lescatie you will be safe and sound." The knight reassured Indra.
"Thank you." Indra said warmly. Deep inside however, he was snickering at these fools falling for such a simple genjutsu and essentially leading him to Shisui.
Indra's mind: (These idiots make this way too easy. I can't believe they actually didn't suspect that was a genjustu. Then again, I am the son of the Sage of Six Paths and the true successor to Ninshu, it's to be expected that my genjutsu are of the highest caliber.)
The group continued to walk back to Lescatie, all unaware of Indra's true malovent intentions. Like a wolf in sheep's clothing Indra continued to play along as the friendly Order priest, that is, until they had outlived their usefulness to him.
(Meanwhile with Kimimaro and Ketsueki...)
The duo of Kimimaro Kagura and the Third Mizukage continued to silently walk along a dirt road path. It had been like this for two days now, and despite the emotionless desposition of the duo, they were getting frustrated at not coming into contact with a single village.
"Are you certain that this is the right direction?" Kimimaro asked.
"Yes. For this Zipangu region is to the North West of our current location. And if we continue heading in that direction, along with asking the locals for directions, we shall reach Mangetsu in record time." The Third replied, as he continued to walk with his hand behind his back.
The duo continued to walk in silence until both of them heard a loud clanging of swords. Alarmed by this Ketsueki immediately rushed to the source of the clashing of swords, with Kimimaro following him from behind.
Just in front of him was a man wearing metal plated armour fighting a woman with shoulder length navy blue hair in a sword fight, and the dead body of another man wearing armour similar to the one currently fighting the woman.
"What is the meaning of this?" Ketsueki asked with folded arms.
The knight briefly stooped his swordfight with the woman to turn his attention towards the Third Mizukage.
"Stay back citizen! This terrorist here has murdered countless innocent civilians, and had attempted to escape her punishment!" The knight explained as he continued his dance of blades with the woman.
Sighing in annoyance, Ketsueki closed his eyes as the two continued fighting. When he opened them again the man and the woman froze in place, as if invisible ropes binded them in place, preventing them from moving or attacking one another.
"W-what is this? Release me at this moment!" The knight ordered.
"I will in due time. But first you will answer some questions of me. Question number one, why are you attacking this woman?" Ketsueki asked in a calm and collected voice.
"She is a part of a terrorist insurgent movement that seeks to overthrow the Kingdom of Siliria! and undermine the government of Her Majesty Queen Millesenta to create chaos!" The knight passionately answered.
"Hmmm ok, and what about you?" Ketsueki asked the blue haired woman.
"I am a freedom fighter! Millesenta is nothing but a cruel iron fisted dictator who seeks to keep us oppressed in the name of the Chief God!" The woman answered.
"Hmmm alright. You there dear knight, what would I gain if I joined your side?" Ketsueki asked the knight calmly.
"A chance to leave this area without being thrown into the gallows!" The knight spat out.
"Sharp tounge you have there my dear friend. But if I were in your position, I wouldn't be threatening the person whose mercy I am at." Ketsueki coldly reminded the knight.
"And you woman? What would I gain if I aided your little 'resistance'?" Ketsueki asked, practically spitting out the word resistance.
"I-if you help us, I promise that you will be rewarded greately! You will become only second to command of Lady Dorine! Your name will be revered accross all of Siliria as a hero and liberator! A-and you will also have everything you've ever wanted!" The blue haired woman pleaded.
Ketsueki pondered on her hands. It was obvious to him that they were indeed desperate, although there was a margin of truth to her words.
Plus the knight was just a condescending prick who deserved his fate.
Ketsueki chuckled as he closed his eyes, then opening again, this time staring intensely at the knight as his limbs bent in impossible angles. The knights screams were heard throughout the forest for a good ten seconds until...
Pop
His body violently exploded, and his internal organs were sent flying in all directions, with his blood splattering onto the woman. Ketsueki managed to create a water shield to prevent his clothes from getting stained, and despite the violent death he had just caused, looked completely indifferent to the situation.
"W-what was t-that?" The woman asked as she gazed at the bloodied mess that was once the knight's as she looked at her bloody arms, then at Ketsueki.
"W-what are you? S-some kind of mage?" She asked with fear evident in her voice.
"Yes. One from Zipangu to be specific." Ketsueki explained, as he walked towards the knights corpse to inspect it.
"Thank you for saving my life. The resistance and I owe you a great deal mister." The woman expressed her gratitute.
"You are welcome. What is your name?" Ketsueki asked.
"M-Marianna Mildenhall! It is a pleasure to meet you Mr..."
"Jin Mayeda. And this is my apprentice Shinji Sakai." Ketsueki introduced himself and Kimimaro to Marianna.
"Lovely. A pleasure to meet you Jin and Shinji. Come allow me to take you both to the Headquarters of the Resistance. They all need to know of your heroics today." Marianna said gleefully, as she lead the way for Ketsueki and Kimimaro.
The trio continued to walk in silence, for Marianna this was a blessing from the Gods to send two allies to help the resistance liberate Siliria from the rule of Millesenta. For Ketsueki this woman was nothing but a useful idiot to him.
And for Kimimaro, another potential sacrifice for Lord Jashin.
(In a location neaby the Hidden Mist village...)
"Come out Obito. You and I both know that you can't hide forever." Jashin's smooth voice called out, as he walked inside the many corridors of an abandoned building just outside of the Hidden Mist village.
"This game of cat of mouse is getting rather old wouldn't you agree?" Jashin sarcastically asked. Using his Rinnegan he learnt just where Obito was hiding.
"Aha...there you are." Jashin said coolly as he opened a portal and faster than eye could see, grabbed Obito by his collar, who still wore his akatsuki robe and Orange mask.
"How did you do that?" The masked man asked.
"You're a one trick pony. Do you honestly believe that your Kamui stands a chance against my Rinnegan?" Jashin asked slyly as he continued to hoist the Masked Man into the air.
"However..I did not come here to fight nor to make enemies. Actually, I seek your alliance." Jashin explained, as he gently placed Obito back onto the ground.
"Hmmm? What do you mean?" The masked man asked, suspicious of Jashin's goals.
"I can tell you the truth about everything...from Madara...the eye of the moon plan...and who was truly responsible for Rin's death." Jashin answered.
Beneath the Masked Man's mask, his face turned into that of suprise, with the only sign being his visible eye twitching in disbelief.
"You must be mistaken Jashin. For I do not know who this Rin person is." The masked man replied.
"Do not lie to me and yourself, Obito. You know exactly who I am talking about. I know how you desire to get rid of this world of lies, here allow me to show you..." Jashin said as he hovered his hand over the masked man's head.
Painful flashbacks came back to the masked man. Flashbacks of undertaking a certain bell test with a black haired girl with purple marks on her cheeks, along with a white haired boy who wore a mask covering his mouth. All trying to acquire two bells that hung from the pocket of a blond haired shinboi.
The next flashback showed a young boy with black hair, a blue jacket and orange goggles eating Ramen alongside his two comrades from the previous flashback, joined by the blonde shinobi who ate alongside them.
Then the last flashback showed the girl from earlier, now lying dead on the ground with a hole in her chest. The same black haired boy from earlier cradled the the dead girl's body, although now his appearance had drastically changed. Gone were the outlandish orange goggles and blue jacket, which was now replaced by an oversized maroon cloak. Sprouting from his neck like a flower were white appendages, and most notably his hair had grown past his shoulders, with his right eye bleeding.
This flashback was the final straw to break the camel's back so to speak, as the Masked Man had now fallen to his knees, panting heavily at what he had just witnessed.
"As I said earlier, I am not your enemy, nor do I desire to end your life. Allow me to explain Obito." Jashin said as he kneeled to be eye level with Obito.
"All that pain you had witnessed in your life, from your parents dying, to becoming an outcast amongst the Uchiha and suffering ill treatment for your precieved lack of intelligence and potenital, to the death of one of the few people who genuinely cared about you. Her death represented the death of the old naive Obito who believed in the so called 'goodness' in humanity would always prevail. The new you is one who had learnt the harsh uncaring reality of this world. And Madara...he was just using you to further his own gains." Jashin explained.
"W-what do you mean!? Madara was the one who saved me! He was the one who-"
"Gave you your current Zetsu body? I've been around this world for nearly a millennia, and I have know Madara Uchiha for most of his mortal life. He was a manipulative, selfish and narrow minded individual. He cannot think for himself, for even the ideology of peace through force is not originally his, as that derives from his ancestor Indra Otsutsuki. Hehe Madara was too blind and proud to realise that the being known as Zetsu was not a manifestation of his own will as he initially believed, but the will of the mother of all chakra Kaguya Otsutsuki." Jashin explained to Obito, who was completely struck with awe at this revelation.
"K-Kaguya Otsutsuki?" Obito blurted out.
"Yes. I am not surprised you know about her, for she was erased from history by her son Hagoromo Otsutsuki, better known in this world as the sage of six paths." Jashin stated.
"Now you are wondering, where do I fit into all of this? I do not originally hail from this world. A long time ago, before the time of even the Sage of Six Paths I lived in a world similar to yours, except it was populated by grotesque beings known as monsters, and these monsters were all led by an individual known as the Demon Lord. Who was that Demon Lord? Me. For thousands of years I led the monsters and waged war with humanity who were 'protected' by a deity known as the Chief God who also had divine beings known as Angels and Valkyries to be her messengers and warriors. She who was also the creator of the world that I originated from, and unbeknownst to possibly the current impostor Demon Lord and a select few of her highest ranking Angels, she intentionally pitted monsters against humans and vice versa. When humanity was on the verge of being conquered by the monsters, she would send her Valkyries to help push back the monsters to their Demon Realms. And when humanity was on the verge of eliminating the monsters for good, she would secretly send us assistance and despite the desperate prayers of help from her human worshippers, she allowed them to be mercilessly slain by the monsters. When I learnt this truth I had secretly commissioned an invasion of Heaven to get rid of the Chief God for good, however that never came to fruition, as a succubus by the name of Lilith usurped my throne and banished me to this world." Jashin explained.
"This story you tell me, what does it have to do with me and my world?" The masked man asked, the impatience evident in his voice.
"Lilith is a succubus, which is a type of Demon that robs humans of their lives via sex. However she was different, as she had genuinely come to love humanity and in her own words, wanted to end the cycle of suffering and usher in an era of peace of love. However what Lilith did not account for was that the Chief God still had reign over the rules of this world, albeit not as much as in my world. What I mean is that the Chief God subtly dictated humanity's actions in this world. She instigated discord, strife, jealousy and war all to make sure that the cycle of suffering continue one way or another. Which means that she was the true reason for all the suffering you had experienced in your life, and the reason that Rin is dead." Jashin finsihed.
Obito was at a loss for words. Everything he had known, he was nothing but a pawn to both Zetsu and Madara. And to make matters worse there was not a single sign that Jashin was lying to him, as much he wished that was not the case. Obito was seething with anger, but at the same time was barely holding back tears.
"I know this is a lot to take in Obito, but you deserve to know the entire truth. And about Lilith, she is no better than the Chief God. She had promised all humans under her that they would never again know despair or suffering and yet she had allowed those very same humans she claimed to have an unyielding love for to experince great suffering, loss, misery and pain. And that is why I want to recruit you Obito, so that you may avenge yourself and reclaim the future that was stolen from you by both Lilith and the Chief God." Jashin said in a sympathetic tone.
"And what about Nagato? Do you plan of disposing of me like you did to him?" The masked man asked harshly.
"Nagato is still very much alive, and I have made sure of that. I simply needed to borrow his Rinnegan to help advance my plans, and I plan on returning to him to give one of the Rinnegan eyes to him." Jashin explained.
Obito was still suspicious of Jashin, but had decided to give him the benefit of the doubt.
"Alright then. If you are telling me the truth then take me to Nagato." Obito ordered.
"As you wish." Jashin merrily answered, as he teleported himself and Obito to the location where Nagato was being treated for his injuries.
Arriving inside what appeared to be an underground, various Kaguya clan members patrolled the hallways and when noticing Jashin respectfully bowed to him.
"Lord Jashin. How may we help you today?" The one bowing Kaguya clan member asked.
"Take me and Tobi to Nagato." Jashin instructed.
"Absolutely. Follow me my lord." The clansmen said as he escorted Jashin and "Tobi" to the room where Nagato was being held. Arriving at the entrance of the door, the Kaguya clansmen humbly told them that Nagato lay on the other side of the door.
Tobi Opened the door slowly, just in case there was a trap lying for him, what he saw next caught him completely off guard.
"Kabuto?" Tobi said confused.
Kabuto was currently tending to the eyeless Nagato, who despite currently having no eyes, was in suprisingly good condition.
"Madara. What brings you here? Did Jashin also recruit you to his side?" Kabuto asked as he pushed up his glasses with his index finger.
"Yes. I had asked him to bring me to Nagato to see if he really was still alive. And it seems as Jashin had kept his word." Tobi stated.
"I am a man of my word Madara. Now..." Jashin trailed off as he approached Nagato's bed.
"Nagato. Can you hear me? It's Jashin." Jashin asked.
"Yes." Nagato croaked out.
"I sincerely apologise again for stealing your eyes Nagato. I needed them to help speed up the process of my plan. However since that is done I shall give you this as a reward for your co-operation." Jashin stated.
"Kabuto. Take off his bandages." Jashin ordered. Kabuto slowly unwrapped the bandages that hugged Nagato's head to reveal a gaping socket where an eye should be, as the other eye socket was covered by Nagato's hair.
Jashin then proceeded to yank one his eyes out of his socket, and carefully placed it into the eye socket of Nagato's that was not covered by his eyes.
"(Gasp) I can see again." Nagato stated in awe as he scanned the room around him, amazed that half of his eyesight had returned to him.
"I would advise not moving around much and to eat as much nutritional food as you can. The Gedo Mezo statue had really sapped most of your lifeforce and left you malnourished, and bringing you back to full health has been a great pain for me. Had it not been for your Uzumaki genes, you certainly would have died a long time ago and you would not have recovered as quickly as you have." Jashin said.
"Why? Why did you spare my life? What do you want from me?" Nagato asked angrily.
"I simply desire for you to ally with me since believe it or not, you and I both share a common enemy. I shall explain it to you in due time as right now you are in no condition to be barraged with information, and as I stated earlier you are not at 100 percent yet. So for the time being I advise you rest Nagato, you will need it." Jashin advised him as he made his way to leave the room.
"Tobi. Please follow me. Kabuto, make sure to aid Nagato to a full recovery." Jashin ordered Kabuto, as he teleported away from the room along with Obito.
(The Roof of the Mizukage's building, Hidden Mist Village)
"This is the roof of the Mizukage building. Is there a particular reason you have brought me here?" Obito asked Jashin.
"Yes. This is where I shall be creating the portal to my world, and where we shall conduct the invasion. It took a lot of time to regain the magical energy to create one, as not only was 90% of my power stolen from me by that whore Lilith when I was banished to this world, but that I need sacrifices to get stronger." Jashin explained.
The door behind the two men swung upon, and out came the leader of the Kaguya clan Yoshanai, who wore a shit eating grin whilst wearing the Mizukage hat as he was accompanied by at least 30 other Kaguya clan members.
"I see you are enjoying your title as Fifth Mizukage very much Yoshanai." Jashin commented.
"Hehe, yes I am my Lord. I have been making sure to hunt down any heretics. My men have successfully captured Ao, and he is to be sacrificed this evening in your name." Yoshanai happily told Jashin.
"Jashin if I may ask. How do you plan on making this portal with only one eye? Will you not need both Rinnegan to pull off such a feat?" Obito asked.
"That is a good question. For humans such as yourself yes that would be an impossible feat. But I am not human but a God, and thanks to the sacrifices of my loyal followers, I have now gained enough power to create a stable portal. Now...observe." Jashin stated proudly, as a rippled appeared from out of thin air that gradually grew into a portal.
Watching from afar, a group of shinobi witness the ordeal happening.
"Impressive. And that portal leads to your world?" Obito asked.
"Yes it does." Jashin answered Obito.
"My followers! Today is the day we have been waiting years for, the day of reckoning! Today we shall finally reclaim what is mine and yours! And show both the Chief God and that whore who dares call herself the Demon Lord our full power!" Jashin declared.
"PRAISE BE TO LORD JASHIN!" The entire clan erupted.
"I don't think so fool, ya fool!." A voice called out from behind Jashin.
"And who do you think you are?" Jashin asked, very much irritated.
"I'm the Eight Tails Jinchuuriki! That's me Killer Bee!" The man now known as Killer Bee declared confidently.
"Normally I would apologise for interrupting. But you monsters don't deserve any apologies." A young dark skinned teenager with blond hair spoke up, as he was accompanied by a man with blond hair and a woman with blond hair and a curveous figure. What was most notable about this group was that they were all wearing white forehead protectors, specifically those of-
"You lot are from the Hidden Cloud village correct?" Obito asked them.
"Yeah we are, and the Bee will show you all just who is your patriarch!" Killer Bee replied in a sing song voice.
"Hehe, you must either have a deathwish or the Raikage must not value your lives if he sent you all to me." Jashin commented smugly.
"You ain't gonna steal anymore lives, because I'm gonna cut you down all with my knives! Got that fool, ya fool!" Killer Bee commented again, as the shinobi around him all facepalmed.
"Samui. How did this guy become our sensei?" The blond haired boy asked.
"I wish I knew C, I wish I knew." The girl named Samui replied.
"Enough of this! Yohshanai! Kill them all now!" Jashin ordered angrily, as without a second though the Kaguya clan leader and two other clansmen rushed towards the Cloud ninja.
"Lightning Release: Lightning Illusion Flash of Lightning Pillar!" C cried out, as a blinding light enveloped himself and his teammates.
"Ah!" Yoshanai cried out, as the blinding light hurt his eyes, forcing him to keep them shut.
"Guys! We have no chance against these guys! We will have to go through that portal!" Samui stated to her group.
"Good thinking Samui, you make a good team along with C and Darui!" Killer Bee said proudly.
"Bee Sensei! I appreciate the acknowledgement but we need to go now!" Samui said in a panicked tone.
"Got it. I'll see ya on the flipside, so we can have a joyride." Killer Bee replied as he jumped into the portal.
Darui was the next to leave, and then C. With the last member of the group to go through the portal being Samui.
To her shock, while she had managed to make it across the portal, she felt various cold hands greedily holding onto to her to prevent her from leaving.
"C! Darui! Bee Sensei! Help!" Samui cried out. To Samui's horror both her team-mates and her sensei were currently too busy fighting their own opponents to come help her..
"Hmmm. Before I sacrifice you to Lord Jashin, I think I'm gonna have some fun time with you doll face." The one Kaguya clansmen said in an eerie tone that made Samui shiver. To make matters worse, the man began groping her chest, and Samui felt his hand tug at her shirt, intent on ripping it off.
With all the strength she could muster, Samui managed to take her sword to stab him in the neck.
Samui's mind: "Yes! I got you you bastard!"
To Samui's horror, what should have been a critical injury did nothing to the clansmen, as he just took out the knife embedded in his neck as if it were a toothpick.
"Was that supposed to hurt me?" The clansmen asked mockingly, as he now licked Samui's ear. Samui tried her hardest to resist, but she noticed two other clansmen had also pinned down her arms.
"Hehe. You got nowhere to run doll face. And no one is coming to save you." The clansman mockingly told Samui, as he hovered his hand above her skirt now.
Samui was bracing for the worst, this was perhaps one of the biggest nightmares of a any kunoichi. She closer her eyes shut and tried to resist again, but found it impossible to do so with three men pinning her down.
That did not happen thankfully, as Samui felt the heavy weight on her suddenly being as light as a feather
"Nobody messes with my students, if you are not prudent!" Killer Bee cried out as he sliced the man's arms holding Samui clean off.
"Bee Sensei! Samui! Get away from the portal! Darui ordered.
The two shinobi did as instructed, albeit by unintentionally bringing along the armless Kaguya clan member with them. Thankfully for the Cloud shinobi, only a handful of Kaguya clansmen had managed to make it through the portal with them
Once there was nothing standing in the way of the portal, Darui smiled confidently as black lightning began to form around him.
"Gale Style! Black Hunting!" Darui cried out, as black electrical panthers flew towards the portal, destroying it all Kaguya clan members around it with a violent explosion.
"(Pant) (Pant) That was a close one guys. We managed to get the intel on the Hidden Mist. But the only problem is that we don't know where we are." Darui stated as he panted from using so much chakra.
"I agree. We need to find any civilisation we can because truth be told, I don't like camping in the woods." C spoke up, as he too panted from chakra exhaustion.
"Guys look! I see various buildings not too far from us! That must be civilisation." Samui said as she pointed towards the buildings in the distance.
"Do we really have to head there now? I'm tired. And plus, this whole mission has been a drag." Darui complained as he yawned loudly.
"You can stay here if you want lazy ass. But I'm not sleeping in a forest. And plus if you haven't noticed, it's almost nighttime." Samui pointed out matter of factly.
"It's best not to argue with her, let's just go man." C advised Darui.
"(Sigh) Yeah, I guess so." Darui said in defeat, as he decided to follow Samui and Killer Bee towards the buildings.
Darui usually hated inconveniences like these, and brushed them off as minor inconveniences but because of the rather unusual events that had just transpired, he feared that he and his team had discovered something they weren't supposed to.
Darui was internally praying that whatever humans he and his team come across, if there are any here, are at least friendly.
A little while away from C and Darui, Samui had walked alongside her sensei.
"T-thank you for saving me back there Sensei." Samui muttered shyly.
"Anyone who dares to harm my student's life, shall be at the receiving end of my knife." Killer Bee told Samui in a sing song tone, but unlike his usual playfulness when doing so, he sounded completely serious this time.
The team of Killer Bee proceeded to head towards the nearest sign of civilisation. Today had been a tough day for them all, and they were all hoping for some answers and a way to get back home.
"Hahaha! Forgetting someone!?" A voiced called out to the group.
"Oh shit..." Darui muttered under his breath as he saw that five Kaguya clan members were still alive and breathing. Darui and his squad got into a battle stance, ready to face their foes.
Slash
All five clansmen's head were sliced clean off their bodies. Darui in particular was wondering what the hell was going on until he saw two women approaching him and his squad. The first had waist length blue hair and another blonde haired woman, who looked completeley battered up. Darui noticed a third person. This person was the one who had caught his attention.
"I honestly never thought I would see you here, Shisui the teleporter." Darui commented.
A/N. In case you are wondering how why didn't Jashin just create a more stable portal earlier. The reasons is because he wanted to begin a 'silent' invasion of the MGE world and did not want his presence known to the MGE world yet. And also here are the ages for Killer Bee's squad.
Killer Bee: 26
Darui: 17
C: 17
Samui: 17
The reason for Samui being the same age as Darui and C despite in canon Naruto she's three years older than them is simple' it was for plot convenience.
