Nighttime had again befallen the mighty Theocracy of Lescatie. For centuries it was considered an impenetrable stronghold of the Order.

Well almost. Until Alameria Crescentria, one of the most highly respected heroes of the Order, was discovered by her fellow knights to have been a Dhampir when during a mission at night her Vampire instincts kicked in, and attempted to bite one of the knights in her squad.

Thankfully Sasha, with the help of Shisui had managed to orchestrate a rescue mission to free Alameria before she was to be executed the following morning. With Shisui's help the rescue plan went smoothly. Sasha told Shisui that she would wait for him in a location nearby Lescatie, where she would take Alameria to her hidden Orphanage that housed mamono orphans to keep her safe. Taking care to not blow his cover Shisui changed his clothes that more closely resembled that of a traditional ninja attire, complete with a mask that completely concealed his identity.

When Shisui found Alameria, she was in a severely emancipated state and had various scars all over her body.

"Alameria, don't worry. It's me Shisui, I'm here to rescue you." Shisui told Alameria as he took the keys from the guard he had knocked unconscious to open her cell.

Alameria tried to vocalise a response to Shisui, but all she could do was give a low moan.

"You there! Stop!" A guard called out to Shisui.

Shisui swore internally to himself, this was not how he had planned for the mission to go.

However this time was different, as seeing Alameria's current state made him feel an anger he had not felt in years.

Shisui gently placed Alameria on the ground. A group of knights had all surrounded Shisui now, all with their swords drawn.

"There is nowhere to run! Surr-" The knight was unable to finish his words, as Shisui delivered a devastating kick to his head that knocked him unconscious.

"Get him!" One knight, whom Shisui assumed was their captain, ordered his subordinates to do.

Without the slightest ounce of mercy Shisui punched another knight in the stomach, causing him to collapse immediately. The remaining three knights were soundly defeated by Shisui, and with the captain of the guards Shisui especially made sure to break the guards leg out of pure anger.

Without another word, Shisui placed Alameria on his back and stealthily exited the dungeons of Lescatie, and in no time he and Alameria were already outside the city walls. A short while later, he had found were Sasha was waiting anxiously and at first was happy to see the duo, until she noticed the various gaping scars all over Alameria's body.

"Alameria...what did they do to you?" Sasha asked in shock.

"(Cough) They...starved me...whipped me with a spiked whip...placed meathooks onto my back...and hung me from the ceiling for hours...it was..." Alameria trailed off, unable to finish describing what had happened to her. Shisui was the first to offer assistance to Alameria, as due to the immense torture she endured, she was unable to stand up without assistance.

"I'm sorry you had to go through this Alameria." Shisui apologised solemnly.

"Thank you for rescuing Alameria Shisui. I will take her took my secret orphanage to treat her injuries." Sasha told Shisui.

Shisui however, was unusually quiet, and the look in his eyes greatly worried Sasha.

"Shisui...are you alright?" Sasha asked worryingly.

"Alright? No...I am not...after seeing what those monsters did to Alameria...I'm anything but alright. That's why on my way out, I made sure they all felt the pain they put Alameria through." Shisui replied in a low tone, activating his Sharingan as well.

"You didn't kill them...did you?" Sasha asked nervously.

"No, but I made sure that they all suffered broken bones, and maybe permanent paralysis." Shisui replied darkly.

"Shisui, do you hear yourself? This...is not you. I understand you are rightfully angry at what the Order had done to Alameria, but two wrongs do not make a right." Sasha scolded Shisui.

Before Shisui could reply, he heard groans coming from behind, and noticed five men wearing white kimonos about to attack a group of individuals. What surprised Shisui the most was how bones had somehow protruded from their body.

Wasting no time Shisui sliced the heads of all five men clean off their bodies.

The bodies of the man had all fallen to the ground with a heavy thump. Shisui inspected the bodies, and was prepared to make his leave until someone called out his name.

"I honestly never thought I would see you here, Shisui the teleporter." The person said to Shisui, which made him stop in his tracks and turn around to face the one who had called his name.

"How do you know my name?" Shisui asked the person.

"Did you forget? Everyone in the Hidden Cloud and most of the shinobi world knows who you are." The person explained.

"The Hidden Cloud...?" Shisui muttered in disbelief. How, how did Hidden Cloud shinobi get here he wondered. Shisui knew that Hidden Cloud shinobi being here meant nothing good, especially taking into consideration of their history.

"Shisui. Who are they?" Sasha asked.

"They're shinobi from the Hidden Cloud village, sworn enemies of my village the Hidden Leaf. If they are here it's not good news." Shisui told Sasha as he readied his sword for battle. Samui was the first to step toward Shisui.

"Withdraw your sword. We are not here to fight." Samui told Shisui.

"Bullshit. What did the Raikage send you here for this time? To try and kidnap another child so you can experiment on them? Or to backstab any allies you plan on making?" Shisui asked harshly.

"Listen dumbass. We didn't come here to fight you, because if we did, you would've been dead already." C retorted.

"If the Bee wanted to sting ya, you wouldn't be here. Fool, ya fool." Killer Bee now added, which only added to Shisui's irritation. As much as he hated to admit, the Cloud ninja did make a good point in pointing out the fact that they all would've already attempted to attack him had they really been here on a reconaissance mission. Curious to know as to why they were here, Shisui breathed in deep and prepared to ask them.

"If what you say is true, then why are you here?" Shisui asked the Cloud shinobi.

"We heard reports that the Hidden Mist village had fallen to a bunch of cultists. So the Raikage sent us there to confirm if the rumours were true. What we discovered...was something much worse than we initially expected. The Mist was competely overrun by these cultists who worshipped an individual named 'Jashin'. Whilst we were secrectly watching a meeting take this, this Jashin individual opened a portal. I heavily advised my squad to retreat. But Bee sensei revealed our position to the enemy, and with no way out our only option was to come through the portal, which is how we ended up here." Samui explained.

"If you came through a portal, then where is it?" Shisui asked.

"I destroyed it to prevent more of those guys from coming through, and that's how we-" Darui answered, but was interrpupted from finishing by a loud groan that came from nowhere. Looking arround frantically Darui noticed one of the heads began speaking, despite being decapitated from it's body.

"How the hell are you still alive?" Darui asked the decpaitated head.

"Lord Jashin's gift...grants us immortality. You cannot kill us, no matter how hard you try."

"It is pointless. No matter how many times you stab us or cut out off our heads, we still still continue to exist." Another clansmen said from his decapitated head.

"Well I won't have to worry about you harming me or my squad. Because you ain't doing shit in your current state." Darui cheekily answered as he picked up the head.

Swoosh

A soft rustle was heard through the crisp night air of Lescatie, as two Kunoichi now surrounded Sasha and Alameria. One had pale skin and long beautiful navy blue hair, and the other had hair that was almost as long, except it was brown and her skin was more tanned.

"Thank you Sasha, and you too Shisui. We will take care of Alameria from here on out." One of the kunoichi said.

"It is a pleasure Yuriko. You and Tamaki have been of great help as well." Sasha said.

"Lady Sasha. Who are those humans over there?" The tanned Kunoichi named Tamaki asked as she pointed towards the Cloud shinobi.

"According to Shisui, they are shinobi like himself, only except they come from a village called the Village Hidden in the Clouds, whom are historical enemies of Shisui's original home the Hidden Leaf Village." Sasha explained.

"I see. If that is the case then why not bring them with us? We will be able to look after them and take care of their every need." Yuriko suggested.

"Don't. Those ungrateful dogs will just backstab you if you do so and will sell you all out to the Order." Shisui advised Yuriko, almost as if he said it out of spite.

Unfortunately for the group, the Cloud ninja, and especially the blond shinobi C heard Shisui's remark, and none of them were pleased with it.

C angrily approached Shisui, the fury visible in his eyes.

"Say that again you Konoha dog!" C angrily asked Shisui as he pulled onto his shirt.

"You heard me right. You Cloud scum are all two faced backstabbers." Shisui spat out with venom in his voice.

To everyone around it seemed as though the two ninja were about to trade blows, but thankfully that did not happen, as Yuriko stepped between Shisui and C.

"Both of you, stop this now." Yuriko ordered C and Shisui.

"Hmph. And why should I listen to you?" C asked Yuriko.

"Because..." Yuriko said, as she now appeared behind C, grasping both his hands and holding a Kunai by his throat.

"I could easily kill you where you stand if you choose to remain a thorn in my side. But due to my innate dislike for taking lives and the Demon Lord's will, I shall not." Yuriko stated as she released C from her grasp.

"Tamaki, let's go, our business here is done. And don't forget to take the heads of those five men." Yuriko advised Tamaki, as she took Alameria from Sasha.

"Aww. But...the one with the dark skin and white hair is a real cutie, can't I get to know him first?" Tamaki pleaded with Yuriko. Realising her efforts were in vain, Tamaki took the heads of the five Kaguya clansmen and teleported away with Yuriko.

"Excuse me. The one with the goggles, but what is your name?" Sasha asked Killer Bee.

"Killer Bee that is me, the Eight Tails Jinchuuriki." Killer Bee answered in a sing song tone.

"Killer Bee. Alright I have a proposition for you and your entire group, how would you like to stay inside Lescatie whislt you find your way home?" Sasha proposed.

"Hmmm. The Bee wants to agree, but does not now if he can trust thee." Killer Bee replied.

"Please. I promise that I have nothing malicious planned. And also if your group wonders on their own, there is no doubt that you will eventually be hunted down by mercenaries. So it will be your safest option to head back to Lescatie with me." Sasha explained.

"Lescatie? Never heard of that place before." Darui commented nonchalantly.

"That is because you are in another world. So city names will be very different from the ones that are common in your world." Sasha explained.

"Hmm. So at least that confirms that we are in another world." Samui told Darui and Killer Bee.

"Alright then. If you mean no harm then we accept your offer to reside in this 'Lescatie' for the time being." Samui announced to Sasha.

"Excellent. Please follow me..."

"Samui. And to my right is Darui and my left is our sensei Killer Bee and the blond one C." Samui told Sasha her name and that of her team maters.

"I see. A pleasure to meet you Samui, and you too Darui, C and Killer Bee." Sasha said in a friendly tone, hoping to ease the tension and distrust between Shisui and the Cloud shinobi.

Without another word Sasha, Shisui and the Hidden Cloud squad all headed back to Lescatie. The night was a clear one with the full moon providing the only source of light.

"Hey Sasha look, a full moon, just like your surname." Shisui said pointing towards the moon

"Oh...that's lovely Shisui." Sasha replied meekly.

Meanwhile trailing just behind Shisui and Sasha were the Cloud shinobi.

"Samui, is this really a wise idea accepting help from these guys?" C whispered to Samui.

"It's the only option we have and if what that woman is saying is true there are many dangerous people lurking about, and that we will at least be safe inside this Lescatie." Samui replied to C.

"That makes sense. Still though my gut feeling is telling me something is fishy about this." C said to Samui.

"Don't worry. If any of the locals or him try to attack us, I'm confident we can handle them." Samui said to C.

"Yeah no doubt, although I can't begin to imagine how Lord Raikage is handling his brother being missing." C told Samui in a slightly saddened tone.

"Worried no doubt. He loved Bee sensei to death, and if anything were to happen to him, well let's just say I don't want to be there if that were to become a reality." Samui commented.

"Shinobiiiiiiii we endure! Shinobiiiiiii supressing our sobs!" Killer Bee sang, much to the chargin of his students.

Inside Killer Bee's mind:

Standing in an empty void were two beings, one Killer Bee and the other an Ox-like animal missing a part of it's left horn.

? (Bee, you've been awfully quiet. And knowing you that's a sign something is up.)

Killer Bee: (It's nothing Gyuki, I'm just making sure to look out for my rookies)

Gyuki: (Bee I've lived inside of you for two decades now, and I know you're not being honest with me. Is it because we're stuck in this world?)

Killer Bee: (A little bit. But mainly 'cause I'm trying to think of new rap lines, you dig?)

Gyuki: (Ugh nevermind. Before I go should let you know, that blonde woman from earlier, she had this weird chakra emitting from her. I can't explain what it is, but I recommend staying away from that stuff.)

Killer Bee: (Gotcha. Don't worry Gyuki, I promise ya I won't let anyone fool me.)

(Back in the real world...)

"Shinobiiiii...we endure!"

"Bee Sensei, not to sound rude but can you please stop for now?" Darui requested while yawning shortly afterwards.

"Yeah I agree with Darui (yawn) it's the dead of night." C added.

Fifteen minutes later the group finally arrived outside the gates of Lescatie. With Sasha signalling to the two guards to open the gates.

"Lady Sasha! Sir Shisui! You are back! How are those humans with you?" One guard asked.

"I found these humans in the nearby forest. They were attacked by the Demon Lord's forces whilst traversing the land. Do not worry they mean no harm for they are simply travelling mercenaries from Zipangu." Sasha explained to the guard.

"By the Chief God..."

"The Demon Lord gets bolder and bolder with her attacks every day!" The other knight said in barely contained anger.

"We are opening the gates Lady Sasha. May the Chief God watch over you." The knight announced as true to his word, opened the mighty gates that defended Lescatie.

None of the Hidden Cloud looked impressed at the pristine city, and all wore indifferent looks on their faces.

"Heh. The Hidden Cloud is much better looking than this place." C commented.

The group walked for a short while following Sasha until she abruptly came to a halt.

"C, Samui, Darui and Killer Bee. Unfortunately I cannot allow you to stay at my orphanage as there is no space for the four of you. So I believe it is for the best that you all stay at Shisui's house until I can discuss with the King about finding you all your own accomidations." Sasha announced.

"What?" C said angrily.

"Sasha. There has to be another option. I cannot stay with them." Shisui pleaded.

"I am sorry Shisui, but due to these unforeseen circumstances, you are the only one who can accommodate Mr Bee and his students." Sasha said.

"I shall talk to you all in the morning, if you so please. Until then I shall retire for the night. Good night." Sasha said as she walked away from the group, heading in the direction of her orphanage.

"Ugh. Follow me." Shisui groaned, as he led the way to his house.

To Shisui's delight, the Cloud ninja complied. By now he would have expected them to ambush him, but perhaps becuase they were genuinely lost or because they were in potential enemy territory it made them reconisder their decision. Regardless Shisui was glad he did not have to fight them,as truth be told he was too exhausted to do so.

Arriving at his house, with was a two story Victorian house painted a beutiful sky blue, Shisui opened the door to his house.

"This is my house." Shisui said in a tired voice.

"Impressive." Darui commented as he admired the pristine house.

"Yeah. Not bad for a Hidden Leaf ninja." C said.

"C can you cut that crap now? It's getting old. Be grateful that this Konoha shinobi is allowing us to stay at his home when he easily could've refused to do so." Samui scolded C.

"I'll get you all some futons and blankets to sleep on." Shisui announced as he walked upstairs to his bedroom. Five minutes later he retuned carrying many blankets and pillows on his person.

"Here. You can sleep on my sofa, or the floor. Whichever way is more comfortable with you." Shisui said to the Cloud ninja.

"Thank you." Samui said softly as she took the blankets from Shisui.

"(Yawn) No problem. I'll see you all in the morning. Good night." Shisui announced as he finally retired to his bedroom.

As per routine Shisui changed into his pajamas and untied his Forehead protector that bore the symbol of the Order, although in these last few days, Shisui had felt anything but pride wearing that forehead protector. In actually he had been feeling a growing sense of shame and disgust at wearing the symbol of a religious institution that despite preaching words of peace and love, was anything but that. In reality the Order was a genocidal, elitist and warmongering organization fueled by the greed and pride of it's leaders.

Shisui scoffed. At first he felt genuine sympathy for the Order's plight, but after seeing first hand how inhumanely they torture the mamono, he had come to believe that any suffering currently experienced by the Order had been that of their own doing. Pushing aside his negative thoughts of the Order, Shisui layed down on his bed and fell asleep.

Dawn broke, and Shisui groggily opened to his eyes. The first thing he heard was clattering coming from downstairs which was most likely just the Cloud ninja preparing breakfast for themselves.

Arriving downstairs, Shisui did not say a single word to the Cloud ninja, who did so likewise. After a small breakfast Shisui exited his house and made his way to the place that was essentially his second home now; Sasha's orphanage.

Shisui Gently knocked on the door, which was opened by a group of excited orphans.

"Shisui! Shisui's here!" One orphans said with glee.

"Mr Shisui!" Jennifer's voice called out, as she shoved her way through the orphans to hug Shisui.

"Children, what is all this ruckus about?" Sasha's voice now asked, as she now appeared.

"Oh, it's you Shisui. What brings you here to my orphanage today?" Sasha asked warmly.

"I wanted to discuss with you about our new guests who arrived last night." Shisui answered.

"Ah yes, them. Come to my office with me." Sasha instructed.

"Mr Shisui. Why do you always go to Lady Sasha's office when you visit?" Jennifer asked whilst pouting.

"I''m sorry Jennifer, but I need to talk some adult stuff with Sasha." Shisui said, offering a wink to Jennifer.

"Pff you're not even an adult Mr Shisui! You look the same age as Elt." Jennifer retorted.

"(chuckle) How do you know that? Appearances can be deceiving you know?" Shisui asked Jennifer.

"But but.." Jennifer retorted, unable to think of a convincing counter-argument.

"It's ok Jenny, I'm just messing with you. And yeah you're right I am about the same age as Elt." Shisui playfully said.

"Ha! I knew it! How old are you Mr. Shisui?"

"Fifteen turning sixteen tomorrow." Shisui answered casually.

"Really? Why didn't you tell us? We could've started preparing your birthday party early?" Jennifer said in shock.

"Thanks Jenny, but really it's no big deal. I haven't celebrated my birthday since I was five." Shisui said.

"And besides...I never had anyone to celebrate it with and you all have bigger priorities, and I don't want to burden you all with a party." Shisui added solemnly.

"Shisui. I do agree with little Jennifer, one must always appreciate the moments of peace and joy in their lives." Sasha spoke up.

"But Sasha, the orphans. They are in a much more vulnerable position than me. A party would simply waste the little money the orphanage is allocated by the King." Shisui said.

Sasha chuckled, which caught Shisui's attention.

"What's wrong?" Shisui asked.

"It's nothing. I just find it a tad amusing that you forgot about all of your donations to the Orphanage. It is thanks to you that for the first time in years, the Orphanage actually has more than enough money to spend, meaning that throwing a party for you will not hamper the finances at all." Sasha said, which relieved Shisui.

Shisui wanted to retort, to tell Sasha that truly this was not necessary, and that there were more important things to spend the Orphanage's money on.

"Sasha. Are you sure about this?" Shisui asked again.

"Certainly. And besides, you've been very stressed lately and hosting a party for you should help ease your mind." Sasha stated.

"Huh yeah. When you put it like that you make a good point." Shisui said.

"So I take it that is a yes then?" Sasha asked hopefully.

"It is a yes." Shisui confirmed with a smile.

"That is excellent to hear. We all look forward to seeing you tomorrow" Sasha said happily.

Shisui nodded in agreement, and thanked Sasha for her time. His hand had barely touched the doorknob when Sasha called out his name again.

"What is wrong Sasha?" Shisui asked.

"It's about Jennifer. Yesterday she asked me if...if you could adopt her." Sasha revealed.

Shisui was not expecting to hear what Sasha had to say. It truly warmed his heart that Jennifer admired him so much that she wanted to live with him, but Shisui knew that due to his life as a shinobi (and also because of the Cloud ninja currently living in his house) that it would not be the wisest idea for Jennifer to live with him,

With a sorrowful sigh, Shisui prepared to tell Sasha why that could not be.

"I'm sorry Sasha. While I am honoured that Jennifer wants to stay with me. That cannot happen because my life as a shinobi I am rarely at home, and I cannot give Jennifer the attention she needs." Shisui said dolefully.

"And also, I don't trust those Cloud ninja to look after Jennifer while I am gone." Shisui added.

"I see, you make a good point and it is rather unfortunate, however you needn't worry about those Cloud ninja." Sasha said.

"Why?" Shisui asked.

"Because I managed to negotiate with King Castor for them to stay in the orphanage for the time being." Sasha replied.

"What? Sasha are you sure about letting them stay here at the Orphanage?" Shisui asked in disbelief.

"Yes I am. But do not worry I shall keep an eye on all four of them in case they try everything. And besides I am much stronger than I look." Sasha said.

"Alright, I trust your judgement Sasha. Just...be careful around them ok?" Shisui replied.

"I will." Sasha said.

With nothing left to say, Shisui again turned to the door and opened it, preparing to head back home until...

The doors of the orphanage were swung upon violently by a courier who was panting heavily.

"(Pant) Sir Shisui (Pant) You are here (Pant)" The courier muttered out.

"What is wrong?" Shisui asked.

"(Pant) You and Lady Sasha! (Pant) Your presence is requested at the Heroes Headquarters urgently (Pant) Lady Merse's group have returned early (Pant) Primera is injured! (Pant)"

"Primera is injured? How?" Shisui asked in disbelief.

"The (pant) heores told me that (pant) they shall explain it to you both when you get there." The courier answered.

"Shisui, we have no time to waste, let's go." Sasha told Shisui, who have her an agreeing nod.

Without further due, both of them urgently made their way towards the Heroes Headquarters, and upon reaching the meeting room noticed that all of the major heroes of Lescatie (minus Kirsch and Primera) were currently there.

"Are we all here? Good." Wilmarina spoke up.

"Allow me to explain why you are all here. I believe all of you were aware of Lady Merse's squad being sent out on a mission to eliminate nearby village?" Wilmarina asked everyone in the room, who all nodded yes.

"According to Lady Merse here, whilst the group were on their mission yesterday, a giant snake attacked their group. Near the snake was an Order Friar by the name of Lars Ravenwillow who was severely injured by the monster. When Lady Merse's squad attempted to combat the beast it slammed Lady Mimil into a nearby tree and bit into Primera's neck." Wilmarina announced.

"Wilmarina, how did that happen?" Shisui spoke up, unintentionally angering Vermut.

"That's Lady Wilmarina to you Shisui." Vermut snapped back. Shisui however payed her no mind.

"According to eye witness reports from our knights, the snake was fixated only on Primera, as it ignored the other knights. Even stranger the snake disappeared immediately after biting Primera." Wilmarina explained.

"Is Primera alright though? I mean is she still alive?" Shisui asked in a worried tone.

"Yes she is still alive. She is currently in the Hospital and her condition is stable. But she is currently in a comatose state." Wilmarina answered.

Shisui sighed in relief. Good he thought, at least Primera was still alive.

"Also to note was that we have also learnt that the Friar Lars Ravenwillow had actually eliminated a monster village approximately two days ago." Wilmarina went on.

"Lady Wilmarina, may I speak up?" A blonde woman Shisui had seen yet had not known her name asked.

"What do you have to say Lady Olivie?" Wilmarina asked.

"You mentioned earlier that this snake first attacked Lars and had left him near death yes?" Olivie asked.

"Yes I did." Wilmarina said.

"I believe that because Lars had gotten rid of a village of those monsters that the reason the white snake had attacked Lars may have been out of revenge for him slaughtering it's own kind." Olivie suggested.

Most of the room, minus Sasha and Shisui, all nodded in agreement.

"I agree with Olivie's theory. It makes the most sense." Luciana commented.

"Since we do not have any other evidence that the monster attacked Brother Lars for any other reason other than pure hatred and knowing the nature of monsters, The only logical answer as we speak is that this snake attacked Brother Lars out of revenge. Now then does anyone have any questions?" Wilmarina asked all the heroes in the room, with no one raising their hand.

"Good. I officially declare this meeting over. Good day to you all." Wilmarina declared to the Heroes, as she and everyone else all made their way to outside.

Shisui was walking through aimlessly through the streets of Lescatie, just what the hell had happened to Primera? And why was she attacked by a giant snake of all creatures? Weren't such monsters already extinct in this world?

Feeling a hand on his shoulder, Shisui immediately raised his guard and turned around quickly.

"Please calm down. It is only me." Sasha answered softly.

"Huh? Oh sorry Sasha. I've just been on edge these last few days." Shisui answered her. To Shisui's delight Sasha knew exactly what he meant.

"Hold on." Shisui said. In a split second his Sharingan activated.

"What did you do?" Sasha asked him, keenly noticing that none of the citizens were paying attention to him.

"I placed a sound Genjutsu around us so nobody can eavesdrop on our conversation. Meaning that anyone who tries to listen in our conversation will only hear us talking about fruits and vegetables." Shisui explained.

"I see. That is a rather neat magic spell I will admit." Sasha said.

"Not magic. Genjutsu. Anyway it doesn't matter. I'm heading to the Hospital to go check on Primera, wanna come with me?" Shisui asked Sasha.

"Certainly." Sasha answered, and soon enough the dup had began walking to the Hospital.

"It just doesn't makes sense. The Encyclopedia said that the monsters of old were extinct. If so how did one appear and nearly kill Primera?" Shisui asked Sasha.

"I wish I knew the answer Shisui. None of this makes sense." Sasha replied.

As the duo neared Lescatie's iconic bell tower, they noticed a man in a Friar's attire with long brown hair tied into a ponytail and wearing glasses. Almost immediately Shisui sensed something wrong with this man, he couldn't put his finger on it but it felt as though an aura of malice emitted from him. Shisui quickly remembered Sariel gifting him Divine Energy and the ability to sense evil. Silently thanking Sariel for gifting him such a power.

"Sasha, something seems a bit off about that guy, be careful around him." Shisui whispered, making sure the man did not hear them.

"What do you mean? He is just a Friar of the Order." Sasha answered, confused at Shisui's extremely cautious behaviour.

"It's not that. The other Friars of Lescatie do not have the same aura he has. I sense something else in him. Malice, hatred and the desire to hurt others. Something tells me that man is more than just a friar." Shisui whispered.

Sasha was shocked at this revelation. More than anyone else in Lescatie she had trusted Shisui's word. And if he said that the man was dangerous, then it was without a doubt true.

"If what you say is true, then I recommend we continue to act casually around him as I believe if we act cautious and uneasy around him that will make him suspicious." Sasha said.

"Gotcha." Shisui replied.

"Follow my lead." Sasha instructed.

Coming out the back alley where she and Shisui were hiding, Sasha warmly introduced herself and Shisui to the Friar.

"A pleasure to meet you both. I am Friar Lars Ravenwillow." "Lars" warmly introduced himself.

"Brother Lars, would you like me to show around Lescatie?" Sasha offered.

"Why most certainly! Thank you Lady Sasha!" Lars said cheerily.

Indra's mind: (So this is Shisui Uchiha. For a descendant of mine he is rather...underwhelming. But that stupid smirk...it reminds me of that idiot Ashura and prove to you why your stupid power of friendship is futile. I'll make sure to wipe that smile of his face when I kill everyone here.)

Indra continued to hid behind his mask of the friendly Order friar and followed Sasha and Shisui all around Lescatie. The trio continued to approximately 30 minutes, when Indra, satisfied with the tour of Lescatie parted ways with Sasha and Shisui.

Indra's mind: (Those fools. They make this all too easy.)

Indra, still under the guise of Lars Ravenwillow, continued to wander the streets of Lescatie aimlessly when something of interest caught his eye.

He noticed in a nearby alley a young man with blond hair covering his left eye looking at a locket.

"Good afternoon there. I noticed you looking at that locket, is something the matter?" Indra asked in a false tone of concern.

"It's nothing you would understand brother. There is a woman I love, but unfortunately due to her being of a higher rank and social class than I, were are forbidden from ever marrying." The man said sadly.

"If I may ask, what is the name of this woman you are in love with?" Indra asked.

"Vermut Rosnair. She is the right hand woman of Lady Wilmarina and one of Lescatie's most important heroes." The man answered.

"That is a shame young man. Are you certain there is nothing I can do to help?" Indra asked.

"No brother. And besides you will get into trouble with the Order if you do." The young man replied.

Without warning, Indra felt his head become lightheaded as if he stood up too quickly.

Inside Indra's mind:

? (Indra, Indra can you hear me?)

Indra: (Who is this? Explain yourself at once!)

?: (Calm down, it is me Nullus.)

Indra: (Nullus? How did you manage to contact me? Didn't Jashin send you to the Hidden Rain village?)

Nullus: (Yes he did. Although I had some unfinished business here that couldn't be ignored. Allow me to cut to the chase. I'm currently in an undisclosed location on the outskirts of Lescatie with Orochimaru and Oro here says he needs a test subject, preferably a chosen hero of the Chief God to study the anatomy of humans in this world)

Indra: (And why should I do that?)

Nullus: (Because in case you have forgotten that you are the only one who can still roam around freely? I am a wanted man all over Dunia and Orochimaru is currently KIA according to the Order, so having either him or me do it would arouse immense suspicion.)

Indra: (Ugh alright. I'll help you out, but what do I gain from this?)

Nullus: (I have all five of your father's Treasured Tools, if you do this mission for me and Orochimaru I shall hand hand you all of the Sage's tools.)

Indra: (That's impossible! Father hid his sacred tools away from the world so that no-one could find them. Even in my original life I searched in vain looking for them!)

Nullus: (I assure you Indra that I do currently have them all in my possession. It only took a little bit of snooping around the Hidden Cloud village and secretly telling the Raikage about Jashin's plans, and him sending his own brother there.)

Indra: (You were the one responsible for that fool being here?)

Nullus: (Yes. I do not have much time left Indra, since right now in the real world 1 minute has passed. But I will give you five hours to decide if you want to help bring a subject for Orochimaru. When the five hours are up I shall contact you again in your mind. Until then.)

(Back in the real world...)

"Brother Lars...Brother Lars!" The young man called out, waving his hand in front of Indra's face.

Indra blinked suddenly, still adjusting to being back in the real world.

"My apologies about that uh..."

"Alistair Amado. But you can just call me Alistair." The young man now known as Alistair introduced himself.

"Alistair. I shall remember that name. I shall see you again another time, for I shall be heading home for now, until then!" Indra said fairwell in a false joyful tone.

Indra's mind: (Alistair did say he knew Vermut. So perhaps if I kidnap him, I can lure Vermut out, knock her out and take her to the snake bastard. Or I can simply kill him and impersonate him. Hehehe, so many ways to kill a cat.)

(Back with Shisui...)

Shisui was currently at the Royal Hospital of Lescatie, which was located in the wealthy upper district and for the most part catered only to Lescatie's burgeoise.

"Do you think she will be alright?" Shisui nervously asked Sasha, who was sitting beside him in the waiting room.

"I am not certain, but I hope so." Was all Sasha could say.

The duo continued to sit in silence for the next five minutes, until a doctor exited Primera's room.

"You may enter. But only for ten minutes and please, do not barrage her with questions, she just woke up." The doctor said.

"No problem doc, will do!" Shisui replied happily as he gave the doctor a reassuring thumbs up.

Shisui gently opened the door to see that while extremely drowsy, Primera was indeed awake, a;beit she had barely noticed their presance.

"Primera..." Shsui muttered.

It was then that he noticed it, a weird mark that resembled three commas on Primera's neck. Odd Shisui thought, he never noticed that mark when he first met Primera.

"Shisui...Sasha..." Primera croaked out.

"How are you feeling right now?" Sasha asked Primera.

"A little better...my head is still paining..." Primera muttered out.

"(Chuckle) To be expected, you did get bitten by a snake after all. I'm glad to know you are doing alright Primera. Me and Shisui will leave to give you time to-"

"Wait" Shisui said, which got Sasha's attention.

"I wanna ask Primera something regarding that snake." Shisui revealed.

"Shisui, what would you need to know about the snake? It is simply nothing than a monster." Sasha replied.

"I agree...with Sasha...it was...just...a monster that attacked me..." Primera muttered.

"That's the thing. I fear it may not be your typical monster." Shisui said.

"Huh? What do you mean Shisui?" Sasha asked, not understanding what Shisui was getting at.

"Primera. That snake that attacked you. what colour was it?" Shisui asked Primera.

"Why...does it matter...?" Primera asked.

"Just answer me dammit!" Shisui lashed out at Primera.

Sasha was taken aback by this, this was very uncharacteristic of Shisui to lose his temper like this, which meant that something was off, but she just couldn't put her finger on it.

"I'm sorry Primera, it's just...I have a very bad feeling about this. I'll ask again, what colour was the snake that attacked you?" Shisui asked again.

"It was...white." Primera revealed to Shisui.

"White." Shisui muttered. He vividly remembered one person back in Konoha who had snake like features.

"Can you describe more of this white snake please. I promise this is the last question." Shisui asked Primera again.

"It had... purple lines around its eyes... and had long black hair growing from it's head." Primera meekly answered.

Shisui felt as though a truck had hit him. Those descriptions matched the person he dreaded the most of ever having to encounter.

"Orochimaru..." Shisui whispered.

"Shisui...is everything ok? You looked deeply troubled." Sasha asked him.

"Sasha...that snake that bit Primera was no ordinary snake." Shisui said.

"What do you mean?"

"That the snake that bit Primera...is not a snake at all. It's a rogue ninja from my old village." Shisui revealed.

Sasha gasped at this revelation, and even Primera in her half drousy state widened her eyes in shock.

"So you're telling me...that the snake that bit me...was a human?" Primera asked.

"Yeah." Shisui answered.

Shisui's mind: (Just what the hell is Orochimaru of all people doing here? How did he even get here? Was he responsible for brining the Cloud ninja here?)

Shisui's thoughts were cut short as the doctor enterd the room and told him and Sasha that their ten minutes were up. Saying their goodbyes to Primera Shisui exited the room with Sasha. The duo eventually arrived at the entrance of the hospital

"So uh...I'll see you around Sasha." Shisui said.

"Likewise. Have a good day Shisui." Sasha replied as she headed in the direction of the orphanage.

"One more thing before I go." Sasha called out to Shisui.

"Yeah?"

"After the party tomorrow, head to Maylin's palace. She will have a very special surprise for you." Sasha told Shisui.

"Alright. I'll make sure to be there tomorrow." Shisui assured Sasha.

Sasha continued to walk silently to his home, with many thoughts circulating in his head.

(Back in Zipangu...)

The last two days had been troublesome and bizarre to say the least for Mangetsu Hozuki. He had managed to negotiate a small bedroom for himself and his younger brother Suigetsu with Kiyoko. For some reason though Hana, the little turtle woman he had saved that day from mercenaries practically begged for her to share a room with Mangetsu, with Mangestu politely but firmly disagreeing with the proposal.

The previous day that electric woman had gifted him a book of sorts titled the Monster Girl Encyclopedia which according to Kiyoko, contained all the necessary information about this world and it's inhabitants. When he was not thinking of a way to get back home or not looking after Suigetsu, Mangetsu devoted his remaining free time to reading the book.

Unfortunately though, he had spent most of the night reading the book, which had caused him to still be asleep well into the late morning.

Mangetsu woke up with a start, making the book that rested on his face fly halfway accross the room.

"Dammit I overslept! Where the hell is Suigetsu?" Mangetsu asked himself, as he barged through the door to look for his younger brother. Mangetsu searched the building thoroughly for his brother to no avail.

Heading to the back yard of the hotel, he did find Suigesu there frolicking with a Nureonago.

"You...get the hell away from my brother!" Mangetsu ordered the Nureonago to do.

"Why? I am not harming him or endangering his life." The Nureonago told Mangetsu.

"I don't care. I've ready about your kind, and I don't trust you lot one bit. Come on Suigetsu we're going." Mangetsu ordered his brother.

"But Mangestu, can't I play with Shiori a little longer?" Suigetsu asked his brother.

'No." Mangetsu sharply said, as he firmly grabbed Suigetsu's hand to lead him back to their room.

"Goodbye Shiori!" Suigetsu called out to the Nureonago named Shiori while sadly waving goodbye to her.

"Goodbye Suigetsu. Don't worry we wills see each other again soon!" Shiori assured Suigetsu.

Mangetsu aggressively led Suigetsu back to his room. When they arrived there Mangetsu slammed the door the shut.

"Big bro. Why did you take me away from Shiori?" Suigetsu asked.

"Because I don't trust their kind Suigetsu. If you remember from what mom and dad told us always view strangers with suspicion, especially if they are being overtly polite to you." Mangestu told his younger brother.

"But big bro! Shiori was nothing but kind to me! She even helped me perfect our clan's liquification kekkei genkai!" Suigetsu protested.

Mangetsu sighed as he knelt down to Suigetu's level and placed his arm on his shoulder.

"Look Suigetsu. I know I come accross as harsh and strict. But know that I'm doing it to protect you. We don't know anyone here, and we don't know if they have ulterior motives for us." Mangetsu told his brother.

Suigetsu bit his lip, it was obvious to Mangetsu that he was upset by this whole predicament. Suigestsu merely pouted and huffed as he walked to to his bed, but not before taking a book from the book shelf to read.

(Several hours later...)

"Mangetsu! Suigetsu! Dinner is ready!" Kiyoko's voice called out to the Hozuki brothers. Mangetsu lazily got out of his bed, enjoying the nap he had taken while Suigetsu was barely containing his excitement.

"Suigetsu calm down." Mangetsu told his brother which he accompanied with a yawn.

Suigetsu ran down the stairs while Mangetsu just decided to walk down at his own pace, not bothered about keeping his hosts waiting.

Arriving at the table Mangetsu silently greeted Kiyoko and her husband and began eating their food.

"My child. I noticed you always look stressed and forlorn. Tell me what is the matter?" Kiyoko asked Mangetsu.

"Nothing." Mangetsu replied as he continued eating.

"Alright. But please if something is bothering you don't be afraid to talk to me. Also I wanted to inform you that there shall be a party tomorrow at Queen Maylin's palace for a special guest of hers, and I feel it would help you and Suigetsu unwind if you were to attend it. What do you say?" Kiyoko asked him.

"Miss Kiyoko! Will Shiori be at the party?" Suigetsu asked hopefully.

"Yes she will Suigetsu." Kiyoko answered.

"Yay! Big brother please can we go, please, please, please." Suigetsu pleaded with his brother.

Mangetsu thought about the offer for a moment. He had nothing to do here in this place. And besides he could use some time to unwind.

Also because Suigetsu wouldn't shut up, and his nagging was starting to annoy him.

"Alright alright I'll accept the offer." Mangetsu answered.

"Oh I'm glad you did Mangestu. Trust me you I promise you'll enjoy yourself there." Kiyoko said enthusiastically.

Mangestu hummed at her words and continued eating.

"So Mangetsu, I heard that you declined Hana's hand in marriage, is it true?" Kiyoko's husband asked Mangetsu.

"Yes." Mangetsu simply answered as he continued to eat his food.

"Why? Do you know she's been crying non stop since you have rejected her." Kiyoko stated.

"Why? Why!? Because I don't find the idea of marrying a stranger I just met an hour ago normal! I don't want to get married! I don't want annoying brats to look after and I sure as hell don't want to get raped when I step a foot outside my house!" Mangetsu yelled at the top his lungs.

Kiyoko and her husband looked on at Mangetsu in complete astonishment. Suigetsu looked at his brother in fear, afraid that something very bad was about to happen.

The silence, despite being only 10 seconds at the longest felt like 10 minutes. Finally Kiyoko decided to break the silence.

"Mangetsu. Did I ever once lie or mistreat you and your brother when you arrived here? Did any mamono "rape" you when you arrived here?" Kiyoko sternly asked Mangetsu.

"N-no but-"

"Do you think so lowly of us that we would lie to you and dispose of you when you are no longer useful to us?" Kiyoko asked Mangetsu again.

"That's the thing. How do I know I can trust you?" Mangestu asked Kiyoko.

Kiyoko chuckled at Mangetsu's question, and prepared to speak.

"My child. As much as I adore humans, and especially my husband, I utterly despise how cruel and warlike you humans are to one another and how instead of providing a helping hand to your fellow man you instead cut it off without mercy." Kiyoko told Mangetsu.

Kiyoko's words put Mangetsu's mind into a mental pretzel. He could not deny that her words were indeed based on truth, especially more so because of how it was like growing up in the Hidden Mist, where survival of the fittest was drilled into academy student's mind.

But Mangetsu knew better. Yes there were arrogant, selfish, backstabbing and outright evil humans who deserved nothing less than death. However there were still humans who were genuinely kind and empathetic.

"I ask you now Mangetsu. How do I know I could trust a human such as yourself? Throughout most of your kind's history you were enveloped in warfare with one another, and when you weren't mercilessly killing each other or the mamono you waged wars against the Elves and Dwarves and murdered them when they refused to move from the lands that you humans claimed was "rightfully yours" which drove the Elves into the deepest parts of the forest and the Dwarves underneath the mountains." Kiyoko explained.

Mangetsu gritted his teeth. How was she so good at debating he asked himself, she somehow twisted his argument to make him look like the bad guy just because he didn't wanna marry a girl he barely even knew.

Mangetsu had enough of dealing with this crap. He was a member of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist and yet he were being talked to as if he were a mere child.

"I've had enough of this. I'm going to my bedroom." Mangetsu informed Kiyoko and her husband and without another word walked back to his room.

(Meanwhile with Kimimaro and the Third Mizukage)

"It's just right up ahead guys!" Marianna informed Kimimaro and the Third as while walking a large building came into view

"Sorry for making you walk for so long. I promise once we get there we can rest." Marianna told the Third and Kimimaro.

"It is fine." Ketsueki flatly told Marianna.

Arriving at the entrance Marianna knocked softly on the door.

"Who is it?" A voice asked from the other side.

"Open up doofus! It's me Marianna!" Marianna told the person from the other side.

"Marianna? You're alive-I mean welcome back!" The other person replied as they opened the door. Standing on the other side was a dark skinned woman with messy brown hair and red eyes.

"Imojin. This Jin Mayeda and his apprentice Shinji Sakai. They're travelling mages from Zipnagu who saved me from Millisenta's soldiers." Marianna explained.

"Nice. A pleasure to meet you both." Imojin greeted Ketsueki and Kimimaro with a handshake, which both of them accepted.

"Please make yourselves at home. We have a spare room that both of you can use." Marianna told the duo. Once inside Kimimaro got a good look at the building. He was standing in what he presumed was the living room as there was a massive carpet on the floor. Decorating the living room were many bean bags and a large table that Kimimaro assumed was where everyone went to eat dinner.

"Hey! Shinji was it? Why don't you come join us?" A girl sitting with her friends on the other side of the living room asked Kimimaro. Without a word Kimimaro slowly waked towards the area of the room where there were many bean bags to sit on. Kimimaro sat down on one of the beanbags nonchalantly, although he noticed that the three girls in front of him were smilling and giggling for some reason.

"My name is Vizena Rothais." The brown haired girl said.

"I am Giselle Aphrah." The blonde haired girl said.

"And I am Tiffonia Salvore." The third girl with long purple hair covering her left eye.

"It's a pleasure to meet you!" They all said in unison.

(Inside Kimimaro's mind)

?: Look at those fools, thinking that you're on their side. I cannot wait to see their faces once you sacrifice them to Lord Jashin. Kimimaro, do you notice it?

Kimimaro: Notice what Reibi?

?: These girls, I can sense that they all infatuated with you. My guess is because to them you are what they would consider 'handsome'

Kimimaro: And what of it?

Reibi: That you can easily manipulate these girls to your whim. Once you have their compelete trust you can utilise it to find out any secret information about them and also to track down and kill Mangetsu Hozuki.

Kimimaro: I see. That could certainly help me track down Mangetsu faster and then once I do I shall sacrifice all three of those annoying pests to Lord Jashin.

Reibi: Good. Remember Kimimaro, Lord Jashin is watching over you at all times.

Kimimaro: I will.

Reibi: Alright, until next time Kimimaro.

(Back in the real world...)

"It is a pleasure to meet you as well." Kimimaro replied nonchalantly.

"I'm glad that you chose to side with the resistance instead of that cruel dictator Millisenta," Vizena told Kimimaro.

"I have two questions for you." Kimimaro announced to the girls.

"Absolutelty! What are they?" Triffonia asked.

"What do you think of the monster girls and second what events caused the Resistance to come to fruit?" Kimimaro asked.

"The mosnter girls. Truth be told despite them preaching peace and love they're no better than the Order." Giselle stated.

"Hmm. How so?" Kimimaro asked.

"They literally rape human men to their side and forcibly turn human women into one of their kind. And the worst part is they think it's alright, Do they not know that since they only give birth to their own kind that they will drive humanity to extinction?" Vizena stated.

"And then you have those fascist Order pigs who want to control us like slaves, not realising that by doing so they inadvertly drives humans to join the monsters." Tiffonia added.

"And that's why we formed the Resistance! Originally we were a heroes guild in Siliria called the Home of the Sincere but we were forced out six years ago by Millisenta as we were deemed to lenient on our views." Giselle said.

"To put in simple terms, we weren't corrupt and cruel enough for her regime, so we were forced into exile." Vizena said.

"Fascinating. And how does the Home of the Sincere go about to recruit members?" Kimimaro asked in a dull and bored voice.

"Usually we go about flying up posters in remote towns out of the reach of the Silirians. We also run a food programme and take in humans who live in extreme poverty and invite them to live here where will always have food and shelter. The goal of our resistance is to prevent humanity from being outbred to extinction by the monsters and not living in the shackles and lies of the Chief God. We seek to be the masters of our own future with no outside power trying to dictate how we live." Tiffonia explained.

Kimimaro listened to Tiffonia explain the purpose of the resistance, inside he felt nothing but sheer indifference towards their desire of protecting humanity. Why should he he asked himself? Humans never gave him any purpose in life. Most of the time he was either ignored or treated with fear and disdain by his own clan before Lord Jashin arrived. It was Lord Jashin who had given him purpose in life, it was Lord Jashin who cured his seemingly incurable illness when he was thrown into a cell by his father to rot away and the only person he thought he could trust left him to die because she was too afraid of him. There was a term Kimimaro's father told him, a useful idiot. Someone who was too brain dead to think for themselves and upon earning their trust would follow orders without question.

"Everyone! Gather to the table! Lady Dorine is here!" Marianna called out and soon enough, everyone in the building gathered around the table to hear what Dorine had to say.

"Good day everyone. I am sorry for interrupting you with this meeting. But I have a very important announcement to make. As I'm certain most of you know a Mage from Zipangu named Jin Mayeda and his apprentice Shinji Sakai have recently joined our cause. So I would like you all to give a warm welcome to the both of them." Dorine told her guild, whom all greeted Ketsueki and Kimimaro.

"Jin Mayeda has also told me that the main reason that he and his apprentice were on the continent of Dunia instead of Zipangu was because he was hunting down a monster sympathiser by the name of Mangetsu Hozuki. JIn has also warned me that Mangetsu is an active slave trader and kidnaps human men from their homes and sells them for a high price to the Amazons and the Dark Elves." Dorine announced.

"That traitor! How can he do that to his own kind?" Marianna barked out in anger.

"Money. Mangetsu knows that the monsters will buy humans for a high price, especially if they're virgins." Ketsueki answered.

Marianna growled, as much as she wanted to cave in this Mangetsu's head she knew that lashing out here would do nothing.

"And because of that is why I announce that from here on out that we shall keep a lookout for Mangetsu and put up wanted posters of him to encourage others to bring him to justice. Thank you everyone, that is all for today." Dorine finished as everyone in the guild dispersed.

The three girls however never left Kimimaro's side and followed him everywhere he went. Kimimaro couldn't care less about what they felt for him, as this was just an opportunity to complete his mission and prove his devotion to Jashin.

(Five hours later...)

It had to be approaching late afternoon now as the sun was beginning to sink below the horizon. Indra Otsutsuki patiently waited in a secluded back alley for Alistair to arrive. Alistair was already ten minutes late and this lateness was starting to irritate Indra. Earlier in the day Indra concluded that since he never like these entitled fools her in Lescatie and that as a reward he would also be getting his father's weapons and thus he agreed to bring Vermut on that condition. Fifteen minutes ago Nullus had contacted Indra to confirm if he will be accepting or declining the mission and upon hearing that Indra had accepted the mission Nullus was absolutely delighted.

And now fifteen minutes later, and Alistair still hadn't shown up.

"I'm finally here, sorry for the wait." Alistair's voice spoke up, as he jogged towards the back alley where Indra had been waiting.

"What took you so long?" Indra angrily asked Alistair,

"Hehe sorry, had to run some errands, but I'm here. So tell me Brother Lars, how can I win Vermut's heart?" Alistair asked enthusiastically.

"Like this." Indra stated.

Without warning Indra's hand became illuminated with electricity and pierced through Alistair's abdomen. The large volume of blood dyed the white sleeve of Indra's clothing a a bright red.

"You...why...why did you...?" Alistair croaked out as the enormous amount of blood he was coughing up prevented him from speaking much.

"You've outlived your usefulness to me insect." Indra coldly answered, as once he removed his hand from Alistair's chest his body fell like a sack of potatoes. Using the teleportation jutsu Indra took Alistair's body and buried it in an undisclosed location in the forest. Now began part 2 of his plan.

Indra stealthed his way to where Vermut lived. How did he know? He made sure during the last five hours to secretly tail her back to her house, once he arrived there he quitely sneaked through her house. In the living room sitting on a couch was none other than Vermut Rosnair, who was currently reading a book.

Sneaking quietly behind her, Indra pulled out chakra wire and used it to silently knock Vermut unconscious. Once she was unconscious he placed her body over his shoulder and used the teleportation jutsu to teleport to the location where Nullus told him to meet him.

"You're late." The smooth voice of Nullus called out to Indra, who was carrying Vermut's body over his shoulder.

"You can thank that insect Alistair for my delay. He arrived there late with the excuse that he had to run some 'errands'. I don't care now, for the wait made me want to kill him even more." Indra spat out.

"Did you at least properly discard of the body?" Nullus asked Indra.

"Yes. I buried his body deep in the forest where no man will trek. They can search until the end of time and they won't find his body." Indra gloated.

"For your sake I hope so Indra. Because if they somehow discover his body and learn that you were behind his death, I won't be coming to save your ass." Nullus warned Indra.

"Whatever, I have no time for your lectures. I fulfilled my end of the bargain, now for my reward." Indra demanded as he held his hand out.

"Here, as promised." Nullus said as with the snap of his fingers, all five tools of the Sage of the Six Paths appeared in front of him. Indra carefully picked up the Shichiseiken and admired it's beauty.

"There is no doubt about it, this is the genuine Shichiseiken." Indra stated.

"A pleasure doing business with you Nullus. I shall be taking my leave now." Indra declared as he placed Vermut on the ground and teleported away.

Nullus stared at Vermut's unconcious body for a good 30 seconds. He felt nothing but seething hatred for the Order, and when word got to him of how they brutally tortured Alameria just for being a Dhampir well...

He would consider this his payback.

Picking up her body he walked inside the entrance of the small hut.

"I see Indra actually brought me a subject to study. I wonder if she will last longer than the other one." Orochimaru's voice commented.

"Who knows, and honestly I don't care so long as I get my vengeance." Nullus stated as he placed Vermut on a nearby chair whilst tying her hands behind the chair.

"Kukuku...do as you please Nullus, but please leave my subject alive enough for me to experiment on them." Orochimaru asked.

Vermut's head slowly swayed from side to side, almost semi concious. Nullus gave her a hard slap to the face to wake up.

"Where am I...and who are you?" Vermut asked trying to sound angry, but was secretly nervous.

"Hmpf. Did you already forget about me Vermut?" Nullus asked Vermut as he revealed himself.

"You...you're that monster who murdered Lady Wilmarina's father!" Vermut barked out.

"The bastard deserved it. I am a firm believer in karma. Every bad action you do always catches up you. Karma eventually caught with Noscrim, just like how it has caught up with you Vermut." Nullus monologued.

"That's ludicrous! You may think of yourself as some kind of philosopher but you are nothing more than a heretical murderer!" Vermut retorted.

"A heretic you say..." Nullus muttered as he grabbed a large sledgehammer from the table. Without warning he swung the sledgehammer directly onto Vermut's left leg.

Vermut bit her lip to stop herself from screaming, but by the Gods that pain was almost overwhelming. Her leg where she was struck felt numb and like jello.

"Karma catches up with everyone, and I am that personification of that Karma. Do you remember how you personally tortured Alameria?" Nullus asked Vermut.

"That half breed traitor!? She deserves nothing less than death! And I would've killed her myself had she not escaped from her cell last night!" Vermut spat out.

Nullus said not a single word as he not brought out a chained whip.

"Tell me Vermut...have you ever wondered the pain and suffering you have put so many innocent mamono through?" Nullus asked.

"N-no! Because those abominations deserve to be smited in the name of the Chief God!" Vermut stated.

"Well then...it seems even until the end you still hold faith in that god of yours. I ask you, where is your God now?" Nullus asked Vermut.

Vermut wanted to retort, to fight back and claim that as a dutiful follower of the Chief God that she had her protection at all times. Now however, the longer she reflected on her situation, the more she questioned if the Chief God really was watching over her.

"Hmph. Nothing. Your god has abandoned you because you've outlived your usefulness as a pawn to her." Nullus stated.

"What do you mean? And what do you plan on doing to me?" Vermut asked.

"If you really want to know...have a look in front of you." Nullus said as he stepped aside to allow Vermut to see what was in front of her.

What Vermut saw both horrified her and chilled her to the bone. There hanging from the ceiling and chained by her arms was a Valkyrie. However her "wings" were stained red from blood and looked partially torn off in some places, she had deep cuts all over her body and most disturbingly...

Vermut realised that the "wings" on the Valkyrie's back were not her usual wings, but her flesh horrifically stretched out from her back made to resemble wings. This was a level of cruelty that bordered on sadism.

"You...you're a heartless monster..." Vermut silently muttered as she shook from fear.

"Do you know how many mamono met a slow and painful end similar to that dead Valkyrie? No of course you don't. That is why I will make sure personally that your death will be a slow and painful one." Nullus declared.

"But before I do that...I will give you the privelidge to see the face of the person who will be personally sending you to hell." Nullus stated as he slowly took off his mask for Vermut to see his face.

"No way...it can't be...but you were supposed to be dead..." Vermut blurted out.
