Author's Note: Hey everyone! It's been a bit, hasn't it? I'll spare you the details, but the past few weeks have been busy, and this chapter was difficult for me to write for some reason. That being said, there's still a lot left in this raid even after this chapter. Not sure when it'll be over, but don't expect any new updates before the New Year. Merry Christmas to everyone reading! Thanks for reading this. Love y'all 3

"We move in!" Nighteye said, pushing through some of the goons that the yakuza had sent out.

"We'll take care of these!" Ryukyuu said, immediately transforming into her dragon form and crushing some of the Yakuza members under her talons. "Go!" She bit into the neck of the large man that had punched his way through the gate. "Ryuukyuu agency has him!"

Nighteye, Eraserhead, Midnight, Rock Lock, Bubble Girl, Centipeder, the students, a few members of the police force, a few other random heroes, and Societas Requiem all burst into the main building. "Shie Hassaikai! We have a warrant to search these premises on suspicion of the creation of illegal drugs!" A good number of men from the Yakuza tried fighting back against the wave of heroes and police, but they were subdued rather quickly. After that first wave of combatants, the hallway was… quiet…

"Where do we go now?" Red Riot asked. "Everyone was out there, it seems."

"That's not everyone." Shouta said. "They're acting out of their loyalty to the organization. The higher ups are probably somewhere deeper inside. Maybe underground. They'll be running away."

"That's not loyalty!" Red Riot yelled. "Forcing their henchmen to take responsibility and running away themselves isn't manly!"

"They're not loyal to Overhaul. They're loyal to the boss before him." Izuku said. "None of them like Overhaul." While people like Shouta and Nighteye took what he said seriously, others like the police and a few of the other heroes that pushed through held looks of caution, and in some cases, contempt.

"That aside, we should figure out how to get to them." Nighteye said.

"Heartquake. Listen in. See if you can find anything." Izuku instructed. She nodded and plugged her jacks into the walls. After just a few seconds, she unplugged them and walked over to a vase that was inside a small cutout in the wall. She plugged her jacks in again once she was in front of it. She moved the base to the side, revealing some panels hidden beneath where the vase was.

"There's a hollow passageway beyond here, but I can't find the pattern for getting into it with my quirk." Kyouka said. "It would take too long."

On a hunch, Izuku activated Luck and was surprised at what he saw. Each of the six ways that the cut panels could be pushed lit up with probabilities, but the part that shocked him the most was that all but one were grayed out with a red '0%' over them instead of the yellow with white text over them. The remaining panel lit up with just a '100%' probability over it. He stepped forward, squeezing through some of the heroes and pressed the panel. Immediately, the panels that were grayed out changed, showing a different single panel that had any probability.

This continued twice more after he pressed the second panel. Soon, the wall cutout raised into the ceiling.

"Now how did you do that?" Nighteye asked.

"Lucky guess?" Izuku shrugged. A few of the police officers scoffed. "Lead the way." He gestured to the pathway ahead of him. Nighteye and the other heroes immediately ran into the hallway. Izuku held his group back a bit until they had all passed. "Only a few of them are even willing to listen to what we have to say or do. Stay out of focus unless it's needed." Everyone nodded before following the group further into the compound.

A few goons had been hiding to attack them around corners, but they were easily taken out by the vanguard. Of course, each of their blood samples were collected by Himiko.

"This seems to be going remarkably easier than I had thought it would." Midnight said as they had just finished the last bout. "I haven't had to use my quirk at all."

"That's because we haven't run into any of Chisaki's Eight Bullets down here yet." Nighteye said. "They're likely more coordinated and stronger than the standard Yakuza members. If I remember correctly, we encountered Katsukame at the gate. The Ryukyuu Agency is taking care of him. That leaves seven Bullets, Overhaul's two direct subordinates, and Overhaul himself. Keep on your guard." He explained.

"Right…" Midnight said. "Let's keep moving."

The large group of people moved quickly through the underground labyrinth until they came to a massive crossroad in the chamber.

"Heartquake, see if you can hear anything." Izuku said. Kyouka nodded and plugged her jacks into two walls nearby.

"I hear people running down a pathway ahead to the right." She said, closing her eyes and concentrating on her jacks. "And… groaning… clothes ripping… a growl? And now, there's rumbling." Her eyes flashed open. "It's coming!" She yelled. "Get down!" She ducked for cover, as did the rest of Societas Requiem and a few other members of the group. Several people, however, did not duck as massive spears made of the wall itself emerged and slammed them against the opposite wall.

Fatgum managed to save himself from the impact due to his sheer size, some of the other heroes used their quirks to stop the beams from hitting them or stopping them entirely, but several of the police officers weren't as lucky as the beams speared through their shoulders, chests, and stomachs. Viscera and blood splattered the wall behind them. Slowly, the material retracted back into the wall, bringing those that were stuck on the beams with them. When those that had been skewered met the wall, they were held flush with the wall as the beams continued to retract. And then they fell to the ground with a sickening splat.

"Oh, fuck…" Hitoshi said quietly. Fumikage rubbed his shoulder gently. Bubble Girl wretched and took her mask off so she could cover her mouth with her hands.

"How many of you have hearing quirks?" Izuku asked, standing up. Nobody raised their hands. "Well she does." He pointed at Kyouka as he said so. "So if she's doing recon and hears something, that's who you listen to, alright?" Nobody responded. Aizawa and Nighteye nodded. Izuku pressed further. "I know a lot of you are not exactly enthused about working with us, but here we are. We're working the same side you are. So let's work together and not like this. We don't want more people dying. Nobody wants that." Izuku turned and helped Kyouka off of the ground.

"He's right." Nighteye said.

"Sir." Bubble Girl started.

"No, he is. We are working as a team. We should act like one. For all our sakes." Nighteye stood up. "I know you might not trust them because of their affiliation, or rather, lack thereof… but we are clearly in a life or death situation here. We're heroes. Let's act like it." He straightened his tie and began to walk to the right. Izuku and the rest of Societas Requiem followed him. Slowly, others began to join them down the hallway.

"Thank you, Sir." Izuku said.

"You showed you were willing to help us time and time again." Nighteye said. "You have gotten defensive when your group was doubted or attacked, but you still helped us with information, and just now with surviving. If they cannot see that, then that is their problem."

"Why are you so certain about us?" Izuku asked.

"I'm not sure. I just have a feeling, I guess." Nighteye smiled softly. "But we need to focus now."

"Of course." Izuku nodded. He looked at his teammates. "We're going to go through this with help. We help them too. All of them." Everyone nodded before they moved along. "Heartquake. Check again."

Kyouka plugged her jacks into the walls. "There's more rumbling. Whoever is doing this is being cautious. After the first attack mostly missed… it's like… it's like they're waiting…" she said. Then she jumped back. "Now! Another attack!" She ducked into a roll as a column of stone pierced upwards from the ground. Several more jutted up towards the ceiling. This time, however, everyone listened to her and jumped out of the way.

The walls shook with a scream that resonated through the halls. Before any of them could do anything, a pit opened up beneath them, and they fell. Izuku instinctively grabbed Kyouka as they fell. The tunnel curved and twisted into the ground until everyone was deposited into a large, dark room.

"Is everyone okay?" One of the heroes asked.

"Leave this to me." Mei said, pulling out a flare, lighting it, and setting it in a glass sphere. This area of the room lit up with a scarlet glow. Izuku looked around with a bit of trouble. His neck was hurting from the fall, and his elbow would definitely bruise, but Kyouka looked fine so he was happy. As he looked, he saw that not everyone had fallen down the hole. People that were notably missing were the Nighteye agency, about half of the remaining police force, and Midnight.

"So." A voice called out from the far side of the room. "Looks like Mimic finally deposited you all here." Everyone stood up quickly and got into a fighting stance.

"Show yourself!" Rock Lock yelled.

"Are you sure you want me to?" The voice challenged.

"If you won't, then we will." Mei yelled and threw the glass ball in the direction of the voice. The glass ball bounced across the floor, surprising a lot of people, and rolled to a stop next to the man that was talking: a decently well-dressed man with messy brown hair and glasses. He had on a lab coat and a plague mask over his nose and mouth. That man isn't what surprised everyone in the room, though. The more surprising thing was the massive animal that was next to him, somehow not making any noise.

"I am Oumo. This is Gerald." The man named Oumo said.

"What the fuck is Gerald?" Kyouka asked.

"I'm so glad you asked." Oumo said. "Gerald is a polar bear and a lion hybrid. Both incredibly aggressive animals."

"I don't see the mane for the lion." Red Riot said.

"An astute observation. It was a female lion. Those are the ones that hunt." He said with a smirk. He pointed at the group, and the monster known as Gerald began sprinting at them.

Red Riot dashed in front of the group and hardened his skin as Gerald swiped at him with its large paws. The impact pushed Red Riot into the ground, cracking the concrete beneath him.

"It's still an animal." Izuku said as he pressed another button on his mask. "Stand down." He said with the filter that had Koda Koji's quirk applied to his voice.

Gerald stopped slamming its paws into Red Riot and then just stood there.

"Another animal controller, huh?" Oumo asked with a smirk. "This isn't the first time that I've faced off against another. My Beastmaster quirk hasn't lost, though." He turned to Gerald. Soon, Gerald started moving and attacking the kid he had slammed into the concrete again.

"There's a door! We can run!" One of the heroes, Izuku recognized them as Dart Point, said. His costume was rather uninspired with a target motif.

"Not without Red Riot!" Fatgum yelled back.

"I'll get him out." Fumikage said. "Go!"

"NightHawk…" Himiko said.

"I've got this!" He yelled back. "Come forth! Dark Shadow!" He yelled, and Dark Shadow erupted from him with a roar. Dark Shadow immediately blitzed towards Gerald, knocking it off of Red Riot. "Get up and leave!"

Red Riot immediately got up and ran away. Gerald roared, but Dark Shadow roared back. They clashed. Gerald and Dark Shadow's claws held each other aloft in the air.

"Take care of them, Gerald." Oumo said. The wall behind Oumo opened up, and he stepped through. The wall closed behind him afterwards, leaving them in the room with Gerald.

"He's gone. I will catch up to you, just go!" Fumikage yelled again.

This time, they listened. The large group of them ran out of the room into another corridor.

Back in the room that Fumikage was in, Gerald had swatted away Dark Shadow temporarily, but Fumikage had run up, and with a knee to Gerald's temple, disoriented the beast. Taken aback, Gerald backed up and ended up stepping on the glass ball that Mei had thrown earlier, breaking it and snuffing out the flare, swallowing the room in darkness.

Fumikage just laughed as Dark Shadow roared so loudly that the concrete walls shook. Dark Shadow quickly grew to thrice the size of Gerald in a matter of seconds, and even though Fumikage nor Dark Shadow could communicate with animals on the level that Oumo apparently could, they knew that for the first time in Gerald's living memory, it was afraid. Gerald began to back up until it cornered itself in the room. Dark Shadow didn't care too much about that as it simply picked Gerald up and threw it through the wall, smashing through a total of 3 tully concrete walls by the time that Gerald's mangled corpse stopped moving.

Just past the second wall, Hitoshi looked in through the massive hole. "Wow, NightHawk."

"I told you I had him." Fumikage said. "The void consumes another." He walked through the holes and rejoined his friends and the other heroes that had fallen down the chute with them.

"That was hot…" Himiko whispered as Fumikage passed. Only Fumikage and Kyouka heard it. Fumikage was glad his mask didn't show that he was blushing. Kyouka was just able to smirk behind her mask.

"Did you see where Oumo went?" Izuku asked.

"I did not. From that, I can assume you did not either." Fumikage stated.

"We have not." Aizawa said. "So let's keep going, ignore him for now. We've seen that his monsters can be beaten, so we don't have too much to worry about on his end. Let's go." He turned and began to run down the hallway.

"Did Nighteye give us any indication on what that Oumo guy's quirk is?" A hero who looked like a clockwork golem, named High Noon, asked.

"When he went over Chisaki's Bullets, Oumo wasn't on the list." Izuku said.

"That's what I thought." High Noon said. "We're goin' in blind with that one."

"Well I can tell you it has something to do with animals." Izuku said. "I used Anivoice from one of Eraserhead's students, and it stopped Gerald for a brief moment, but it kept going shortly afterwards."

"But we didn't hear him talk until he left." Rock Lock said.

"Possibly some kind of telepathy for animals, but talking makes the effect stronger?" Mei asked.

"Well look at you, Overwatch. Normally it's Snake Eyes with all of the quirk theory." Kyouka teased.

"I guess he's just rubbing off on me." Mei shrugged.

"Okay, back up." Fatgum said. "You used a quirk from one of Eraserhead's students?"

"What." Izuku said simply.

"What?" Fatgum asked.

Izuku clapped his hands together and began to walk away. "Well, we'd best be moving now."

Fatgum grabbed onto Izuku's shoulder and turned him around so they were face to face. This was one of the times Izuku wished he didn't have a mask because he wanted Fatgum to see his scowl. "I've heard stories of the boogeyman that can use other people's quirks. You said you wanted us to trust you. This is one of those things we gotta know about."

Izuku sighed. "Fine. You wanna know. I get that." He said. "But we can't. The information regarding that is sensitive and could harm one of our members. And in the wrong hands, it could cause more harm than good."

"That doesn't tell us anything." Rock Lock said. "We need information. Now."

"It has to do with blood." Izuku said. "Extract the blood, you can duplicate quirks given the right compounds."

"So that's why." Shouta said quietly.

"We've gotten a lot from this discovery, but we're not going into any more detail than that." Mei said. "We're not jeapordizing our teammate so that people can experiment on them."

"Are we done with this?" Kyouka asked, leering at Fatgum.

"That's enough." Shouta said. "Let him go, we still have a ways to go."

Fatgum let go of Izuku. Izuku rotated his shoulder as he stepped away. They began to walk away when Kyouka stopped moving. She turned around quickly and shot her jacks into the air. They wrapped around something flying in the sky and brought said object… well, creature… down to her.

Himiko jumped into action, pulling out a dagger and plunging it into the beast. With a squawk and a screech, the flying animal stopped moving.

"That was… a bit grotesque." Dart Point said.

"It would have done the same to us if it could." Himiko shrugged as she pulled her knife out of it. After examining it, it had noticeable features from different animals. The talons and wings of an eagle, the wings of a large bat, a fox's head, and a few parts of a flying squirrel as well.

"I wonder what this one's name was." Hitoshi said, nudging the limp and bloody body with his foot.

"Whatever it was, that's not important. The longer we take to get to Chisaki, the more time he has to run." Shouta said.

"You're absolutely right." High Noon said. "We gotta get after 'em."

"Overhaul, sir."

"What is it, Chrono?" Chisaki asked as he finished up typing something into his research computers.

"Heroes and police have breached the compound." Chrono replied.

"They're of no importance to me. I have planning to do. They'll never make it here anyway." Chisaki waved his arm in dismissal before going back to typing.

"Security footage shows they've found their way down to the labyrinth."

"They won't make it through. Mimic will take care of them." He said nonchalantly. "I have to finish these plans for whenever that fucking League of Villains finally gets back to me with information on that vigilante so I can destroy him."

"Well… that vigilante that took Eri was seen as well." Chrono said. Chisaki stopped typing immediately.

He slowly turned his head to look at Chrono. "What?"

"He was seen. That's the real reason I'm here. I figured you'd have a vested interest in that information." Chrono said.

Chisaki took a deep breath and sighed. He clenched his fists as he repeated the same breaths. He did this once more before he slammed his fists into the table. "Mobilize everyone! I don't give a fuck about the heroes or the police." He yelled. "Kill them. Kill his entourage. Bring him to me. I want to kill him myself. Over and over again."

"Understood, sir. What will you do in the meantime?" Chrono asked.

"I'll be getting ready. I will end them. Their filth will be wiped off of this planet, and then once we have Eri, we'll get back to our original plans." Chisaki said. "Make sure Oumo uses the dragon."

"I think he named it Bismeth." Chrono said.

"I don't give a fuck what he named it! Get the bigilante bitch to me so I can kill him. That's what's important. Do whatever it takes to do so. Open the floodgates. Let loose the aquatic chimera. It doesn't matter. Just get him here!" He yelled.

"Yes, sir." Chrono said quickly.

Chisaki sighed. "I need to get out of this office." He said, pushing past Chrono. As he left, he spoke to himself. "That fucker with the League of Villains didn't say anything about this. What have they been doing all this time?"

Days before…

Kuchikara stepped into the small building, flanked by Chimera, Mummy, and Slice. "So… this is the base that the famous League of Villains live in. How… quaint."

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" A man with a mask and trenchcoat asked.

"You can call me Nine, and I'm your new boss." Kuchikara said.

"The fuck you are!" A blonde man said as he stood up, muscle fibers wrapping around his upper torso. He threw a punch at Kuchikara only for Chimera to step in front of it and catch the punch. A light breeze was all that was left of the power of Muscular's punch. Chimera threw Muscular to the side and returned to his original position behind Kuchikara.

"You are not my master." Tomura Shigaraki said, stepping forward.

"No, you are correct. I'm better than he is."

"Lies!" Shigaraki lunged forward, only to stop in his tracks as Kuchikara made eye contact with him.

"Your master ruled for a while using the sheer versatility of his quirk, and it was effective. He garnered powerful allies and bodyguards that way. But that is all he gathered. Tools to use, but he never developed himself past that. Now that I have his quirk, I can and will do so much more." Kuchikara said.

"You have his quirk?" Kurogiri asked.

"I do. That pushover doctor gave it to me after I pressed ever so slightly." He smiled. "Now, I know that you've had a rather hands off approach from All For One in the past, but that's about to change. I prefer to lead by example. What are your next moves? Surely it isn't to try and rescue him from Tartarus." He scoffed.

"We had a meeting this morning with the leader of the Shie Hassaikai. We're to gather information about a group of vigilantes known as Societas Requiem." Kurogiri said. "We have encountered them before at Kamino when All For One was defeated."

"The information that you gather won't be going to that yakuza. Keep it. Use it to our advantage. Information is incredibly important. We can't let that go to waste." Kuchikara explained. He finally broke eye contact with Shigaraki as he stepped to the side. Shigaraki continued on his original trajectory and fell to the ground. "Get up." Kuchikara commanded. "Things are going to change around here. And soon."
