Mama Mirajane-34
It was a bright shining day in the kingdom as the coliseum was packed with the crowds of spectator's, all from the royal city, with more than a handful of them, holding up banisters, cheering for either the royal champions victory, or Scythe's. In the tunnels leading to the open fighting area, Wendy, Gajeel, Natsu, and the rest of their group, were standing in anticipation, waiting for Scythe to arrive and make his appearance for the fight.
"Man, it seems the crowd's been divided on differences of opinion." Gajeel stated.
"I know, half of them want Scythe to win, and have the souls returned to Earthland, while the others want him to lose, and to keep the lacrima's magic energy for themselves." Wendy stated.
"I'd say it's a pretty even matched fight." Carla said floating about beside Wendy.
"What makes you say that?" Lucy inquired.
"I've been thinking about it all day yesterday, and all night last night. Scythe's powers aren't equal to Acnologia's, but they're still pretty powerful, and he's got his Celestial Strength, as well as his Satan's Soul, and healing factor." Carla explained.
"Don't forget, his healing factor has its limits. It relies on his stamina, which he runs out of pretty fast when he allows his emotions to run wild." Gajeel sighed.
"I don't know." Wendy exclaimed. "I'd have to say, Scythe might have better control over his emotions this time around."
"I hope so." Natsu said. "I know I'm hot headed, but he takes it to a whole new level."
"Shhh, the king is about to speak." Lucy stated.
As if on cue, King Faust stepped up to the podium of the King's Seat in the arena to witness the fight, and began to address his subjects.
"My children, we are here today, to witness the fall of a false deity. A young man, who wishes to mislead you, and turn you against me, causing chaos among my kingdom." Faust declared. "Now I need not introduce my champions, show them your support, show them your loyalty."
The crowd cheering on for King Faust's side to win, cheered even louder as Lust, Gluttony, Envy, Greed, Wrath, Sloth, and Pride, all stepped out of one of the tunnels leading in and out of the coliseum. Envy, waving to the crowds of people, who cheered for them to win this battle.
"Hello Royal Capital." Envy cried out.
Meanwhile, in the tunnel with Team Natsu, their group was looking around nervously, as he hadn't shown up yet.
"Where the hell is he? This fight is our only shot at getting everyone home, without waging an all-out war." Gajeel stated.
"He'll be here."
The group turned around to see Nana-Shimura standing there with Sorahiko, and Toshinori on either side of her. Toshinori holding a musical instrument case.
"Who are you?" Natsu asked.
"Nana Shimura? Grand-Torino? Toshinori Yagi?" Wendy asked.
"You know them Wendy?" Lucy asked.
"Not personally, but I know who they are. Seven and eighth holders of the Quirk One-for-All, and All Might's mentor, and Grand-Torino, who has a crush on Nana." Wendy explained. "They're all characters from My Hero Academia. How are you all here? I thought you were nothing but fictional characters."
"Seriously, does everyone know about my secrets?" Grand-Torino shouted, his face red as a strawberry.
"We'll explain everything about how we're here later. For now, let's just sit back and enjoy the show." Nana stated. "Scythe will show, you can count on it."
"What do you mean Scythe will be here?" Miia asked.
"Just watch." Nana smiled as they all took their places near the entrance to the cavern.
"Now my people, I ask you, where is my accuser? Where is this so called man, proclaiming he's from another world, claiming I stole an entire town and turned it into a lacrima?" King Faust questioned.
"Fifty jewels says he doesn't show." Envy smirked.
"I'll take it." Greed smirked.
Before any of the other homunculi could comment on the bet made between two of their comrades, the sound of a large echoing thunder resonated through the air, causing the entire arena to look up, spotting a light falling from the sky, before it slowed its decent, and landed on the ground, bringing up a cloud of dust, the silhouette inside revealing it was Scythe, with the cloud of dust disappearing showing him wearing the same attire he had worn on the day he killed Ulster, the Grimm Reaper on his back.
"Pay up." Greed smiled as Envy growled, having to give him the fifty jewels at the end of the fight.
"Sorry I'm late." Scythe exclaimed, retracting his Satan Soul wings into his body. "Got a little held up by something." He stated, readjusting his shirt a bit. "I'm a man of my word, I am here."
"He just used your catchphrase." Wendy said turning to Toshinori.
"I actually got the idea for that from him." Toshinori smiled.
"Greetings challenger. I presume you know the stakes of the match?" Faust asked.
"I do. But you neglected to mention something when we made our deal." Scythe stated. "This isn't a battle to beat the enemy into submission, this is a battle to the death."
"You are clever boy. Normally, those who challenge my champions believe that little ruse." Faust exclaimed.
"Allowing your champions to make the killing blow when their opponent isn't looking." Scythe exclaimed turning to the homunculi. "Just how many a challenger has Gluttony eaten?"
"More than you'd like to know." Envy smirked. "You cost me fifty jewels by showing up here, so I'm gonna make you pay."
"Hold up." Lust stated. "The king hasn't said to start yet."
"It's fine Lust. Have at him." Faust stated.
Envy smirked, making a run for Scythe, leaving a large indent in the ground. Scythe noticed the indent, and saw it was rather larger and deeper than it should be for someone of Envy's size. He didn't have long to think on this however, as Envy was charging at him full speed, only managing to jump out of the way, before Envy's hand struck down on the ground, making a rather large crater.
(Cue Music… In the end: Black Veil Brides)
"You're faster than you look." Envy smirked.
"An' you're heavier than you should be. Let me guess, you're hiding your true form." Scythe stated.
"Correct, unfortunately, you won't be able to see it." Envy smiled, as two spear like projectiles went flying past him, aiming for Scythe. The Godslayer managed to dodge one of them, but was struck in the shoulder by the other, drawing blood.
"You got distracted, that was too easy." Lust smiled, retracting her blade like fingers, keeping them extended a bit, as Scythe's blood dripped down them. "This is sure to be an interesting match to say the least."
Scythe placed a hand on his shoulder, as he felt his healing factor working on the injury. He let his magic loose enveloping his body in royal blue lightning, with sparks of red flashing momentarily, before he went running at Envy and Lust, before a black and red blur went running past them, and collided with Scythe, creating a shockwave.
Scythe and Sloth were locked with his hands, holding Sloth's fists back as they pushed against one another as they were locked in a combat of strength.
"He's matching Sloth in a battle of brawn." Envy exclaimed. "But shouldn't his shoulder be in immense pain right now?"
"It doesn't matter." Pride stated. "In the end, we'll win, we always win."
"Not today you don't." Scythe exclaimed, raising his leg, before kicking Sloth in the stomach, sending the goliath of a homunculus flying to the wall opposite of him, behind the others. Before any of them could even blink, Scythe thrust his arm into Sloth's chest, before it began to pulse and veins of red energy traveled up his arm, as Sloth's body withered away into nothing, as his Philosopher's stone, was absorbed into Scythe's body.
"He… he just killed Sloth." Greed stated.
"Can I eat him now?" Gluttony questioned Lust.
"By all means, go right ahead." Lust stated. "But be careful, it seems he's able to absorb and nullify Philosopher Stones."
Gluttony went running at Scythe, with a hungered look in his beady eyes, as he charged at the Godslayer. However, as Gluttony came down to bite on Scythe's head, he was skewered through his open mouth, by the Grimm Reaper, and pinned to the ground, causing the earth to crack from the impact. Scythe twisted the sword, before slamming his fist into Gluttony's chest, repeating the same process as before, like what he did with Sloth, causing Gluttony's body to dissipate as he absorbed the Philosophers Stone in his chest.
Reflexively acting on instincts, Scythe grabbed the hilt of his sword, and raised it in time to block a strike from Lust's spear like appendages, sending him sliding back into the wall Sloth had died against.
"This is impossible, how is it he's already been able to kill two of us?" Envy asked.
"He's an Etherion Godslayer, Envy, it's most likely his magic allows him to absorb the stones at our cores." Pride exclaimed. "But that won't matter. After all, we'll still be able to win."
"I doubt it Pride." Greed exclaimed.
"Would you idiots quit yammering and help me with him?" Lust questioned, sending in attack after attack.
Swinging his sword, Scythe managed to deflect Lust's latest attack and deflect it to the side, allowing him a chance to run up towards her.
"You whelp, die already." Lust cried out as she sent another attack at him.
Scythe lunged at Lust, around the same time she sent her attack at him, and then everything stopped as one of their attacks hit the other, with blood dripping to the ground below.
(End Song…)
"I don't believe it." Envy exclaimed. "You got him Lust." Envy smirked.
Lust's spear like appendages were skewering ten different area's on Scythe's body, three of which, skewered him through the head, the Grimm Reaper falling to the pool of blood below.
"See, at the end of the day, he's just like any other human." Pride smirked.
"SCYTHE." Wendy shouted as the group all starred in horror at what they were seeing.
"Well, that certainly was a little more exhilarating than other matches, that's for sure." Greed exclaimed as Lust retracted her claws from Scythe's body as the remaining five turned away to return to their rooms. "Now if only gluttony were still here, we could disperse of his body with ease."
"Hold… it…"
The five of them stopped at the pained voice they heard, before they saw their shadows dancing about, in the light of red lightning. They quickly turned around to see, all of Scythe, standing on his feet, his injuries were healing up, and sealing themselves, to prevent further blood loss.
"No way…" Envy exclaimed.
"What, surprised to see me?" Scythe asked picking up the Grimm Reaper. "You should have picked up on it sooner, my healing factor's power has been increased due to something I was given. I could already come back from those injuries the bimbo inflicted on me, but that draws on my stamina. Which isn't a problem anymore, as I've now got something else for my healing factor to draw power from."
"Don't tell me." Wrath exclaimed.
"That's right. You're looking at a human, based homunculus." Scythe stated showing the Ouroboros tattoo on his left pectoral. "Though it's temporary, as soon as this whole situation is done and over with, I'll be having it removed. So let's keep going."
(Cue Music… Have a nice day: Bonjovi)
Lust glared at him, before sending more spears like fingers in his direction. His only retaliation to this, was cutting them off, before they could make contact. Before Lust could fully heal from his attack, Scythe was in front of her as she blinked, and without a moment's hesitation, jammed his hand through her sternum right between her breasts.
"WHAT THE HELL DOES HE THINK HE'S DOING?" Wendy shouted as Gajeel and Miia held her back, to keep her from intervening.
"I get it now." Envy stated as Lust's body withered away. "His magic doesn't allow him to absorb and nullify Philosopher Stones, he absorbs and assimilates them with his own, just like Father did with us whenever we needed our stone's regenerative abilities recharged."
"Four left." Scythe exclaimed, looking to them, and making a, come and get me, motion with his hands.
"That's it. This brat's gonna die right now." Wrath exclaimed, rushing towards Scythe, with his all seeing eye.
Scythe could tell Wrath was going for a fake out, and grabbing his sword's hilt, split the Grimm Reaper into its Shikai form, thus using two katana against Wrath's rapiers.
"He didn't even have to call it out. But why isn't he using any of his magic?" Miia asked.
"He's saving it, as a last ditch attempt to save his skin, if he's in a pickle. He's got a new trick he's wanting to avoid using if possible." Nana exclaimed.
Scythe continued to match pace with Wrath's attacks, clashing blades with the echoing resonations ringing through the coliseum.
'Damn it, he's pretty fast, it's hard for me to find an opening. It's all I can do to just keep his attacks at bay. Guess I might have to use it now.' Scythe thought.
Scythe continued to block and parry Wrath's attacks, several of them scratching him before he even had a chance to block them.
'What is with this kid? I'm not finding a single weakness on his body, with my eye, at least not the front of it. Damn it, I can't get a good look at his back.' Wrath thought as he continued his onslaught. 'He managed to take out three of us, in a matter of minutes, all thanks to his philosopher's stone… That's it.'
Jumping back, Wrath used the strength in his legs to lunge forward at Scythe, pinning his shoulders with his blades, before knocking Scythe to the ground, and pinning those blades into the ground, piercing completely through his body.
Using two more swords, Wrath pinned Scythe's hands down at mid-forearms, before he grabbed another sword from its sheath, and sliced at Scythe's chest, opening it up, revealing the glowing stone at his core, larger than any of the Homunculi's stones. It was thanks to killing three of their comrades that he had a stone that big.
"The source of your power. Who'd have thought that you were a human made homunculus like me? I must say you put up a good fight, but no one has ever been able to defeat us, not once." Wrath exclaimed, using his blades to keep the wound from sealing.
"Oh really? Edward Elric, Alphonse Elric, Roy Mustang, Riza Hawkeye, Alex Louise Armstrong, and Scar." Scythe chuckled. "I read up on them all from my grandparent's archives. You might know them actually. They gave Edward an alternative exchange to get his brother's body back, only after my grandfather helped Scar to defeat you. Question is, how you all survived."
"I see, no wonder you were able to put up a fight, but that does beg the question on how they're your grandparents, and not distant ancestors, as those events took place centuries ago." Wrath exclaimed. "No matter, I'll be able to retract the truth from you once I take your stone."
Wrath reached down, and gripped the softball sized stone in Scythe's chest, before he tore it out in a spray of blood and nerves.
"SCYTHE." Wendy shouted.
"Relax, he's tougher than this." Nana exclaimed. "I trained him to increase his stamina, so there shouldn't be cause to worry about him."
"You were one tough opponent. But we always win in the end." Wrath said, sheathing all his blades when he saw the light in Scythe's eyes die. "Rest easy, you no longer have to suffer."
"I am… the bone of my sword…"
Wrath's eyes widened when he heard Scythe's voice. He saw the looks of shock on his comrade's faces, before he turned around to see Scythe picking himself up, his legs shaking, and his arms heavy as he glared at Wrath with a feral growl.
"Steel is my body, and fire is my blood…" Scythe chanted as the wound in his chest sealed up.
"No, how is he still alive?" Wrath questioned.
"I have created over a thousand blades…"
"Damn you." Wrath exclaimed, drawing his blades again and charging at Scythe.
"Unknown to death nor known to life…"
Scythe raised his hands, and covered them in Godslayer Metal, grabbing Wrath's attack as the blades were brought down to slice through him, only for the metallic ring of metal hitting metal to echo around them.
"Impossible." Wrath glowered.
"I have withstood pain to create many weapons, yet, those hands will never hold anything, and so as I pray…" Scythe growled the chant as his voice got louder, shattering Wrath's blades, and clenching his fists, allowing his claws to appear. "UNLIMITED BLADE WORKS."
In an instant, everything around the arena changed. The landscape was different. Instead of the Kingdom's Great inner city, the coliseum was surrounded by a wasteland with clear skies, and weapons protruding from the ground, even in the arena. This new development took the citizens of the kingdom and the King's court by surprise.
"Impressive, but it won't do you any good." Wrath exclaimed, drawing two more blades from their sheaths.
The instant Wrath drew the blades and swung them down, Scythe's entire body was covered in obsidian black Godslayer metal.
"Hey, that punk stole my shtick." Greed shouted.
Without uttering another word, Scythe grabbed Wrath by the shirt, and pulled him in, directly head butting him as hard as he could.
"You know I noticed something different about you that wasn't there about the other Homunculi." Scythe stated, his voice more demonic than before as Wrath backed away from him. "You don't have the same healing abilities the stone grants them. Which means."
In an instant, Scythe was in front of Wrath's face, moving too quickly for him to react, before his head was knocked off his body, sent to the ground below.
"All its power was directed towards your eye and stopping your age." Scythe exclaimed, grabbing the stone from the pocket Wrath put it in. "An' with your death, the stone is no more."
The instant Scythe grabbed the stone Wrath took from him, he had to bend back, avoiding a strike from Greed's clawed hand.
"You little punk, I'll show you what it means to steal from me." Greed growled, as he continued to swipe at him.
Scythe just sighed in annoyance, before he grabbed a blade protruding from the ground, and used it to skewer Greed through the torso.
"But how, my armor should be unbreakable." Greed exclaimed, coughing up blood.
"It would be, but this is a blade that is able to cut the very fabric of reality itself, or at least a copy of it." Scythe stated, removing the blade, and shoving his hand into the wound, before pulling out Greed's stone. "This is what happens, when you're too greedy." He said, as Greed's body dissipated and he added the smaller stone to the one that was torn from his body.
"Only two of us left." Pride stated. "Allow me to take him."
"Suit yourself." Envy exclaimed.
Envy stepped back, as Pride sent his shadow attack at Scythe, smirking as he enveloped him in it.
"You're finished." Pride said.
"Don't count me out just yet." Scythe said from behind him.
Pride twisted around instantly, shocked Scythe was suddenly behind him when he was just enveloped by the shadows.
"What the hell he just jumped out of your shadow." Envy cried out.
"Etherion Godslayer remember? I use all elements, including shadows." Scythe exclaimed, kicking Pride in the stomach, sending him flying. In that instant, Scythe dove into his own shadow, and went charging toward Pride, knocking him around like a piñata flying through the air, before Scythe skewered Pride through the chest and tore out his stone, before adding it to the larger stone he placed in his pocket.
"Damn it, I guess I'm the one who has to finish him off. Man this is so annoying." Envy cursed. "Guess I better get serious."
Red lightning started to crackle around Envy before his body began to grow, and turn green, turning into a large hideous monster with multiple faces covering his body, just as the reality marble dissipated.
"Oh, this is gonna be good." Scythe smirked, jumping away as Envy swung his tail at him.
"Which one of you is Gajeel?" Shimura questioned.
"That'd be me." He said.
"Head to this floating island right here." She said handing him a piece of paper. "Scythe figured the king would try to cheat him out of the entire lacrima, so he came up with a contingency. His grandparents should already be in the Anima control room, waiting for the moment he either wins or loses. If he wins, they'll activate the Anima in reverse and send the lacrima back to Earthland."
"Alright. Miia, you're with me, I'm gonna need a lift." Gajeel said.
"What do I look like, a magicmobile?" Miia asked.
"Just come on already." Gajeel stated.
Back in the fight Scythe was jumping around and evading Envy's swings, though he was getting kinda bored of it, and decided to finish things quickly.
"Alright. I think I've had enough fun." Scythe said before jumping onto Envy's head, and jumping high into the air, spreading his Satan Soul Wings. Before taking in a deep breath. "Etherion God: Divine Bellow." Scythe cried out, hitting Envy with his attack.
(End Song…)
Envy cried out in rage and pain before the roar stopped and his giant body began to disintegrate into ashes, leaving a small lizard like creature on the ground struggling to get up off its back. Scythe landed on the ground, and picked him up by the tail.
"Sorry Envy." Scythe said, covering his right hand in Godslayer Metal, and using his thumb and index finger to pull the Philosophers Stone from his mouth. "But this match, is mine."
Scythe dropped the disintegrating body of Envy, and added the stone to his, before putting it back in his pocket and turning to look up at the king, who was glaring at him, while also clutching his chair so tight the arms cracked, and his knuckles turned white.
"I have won. Your champions are no more." Scythe said. "Now keep your end of the deal."
King Faust gritted his teeth, before he motioned his hand, and a large chunk of lacrima was wheeled into the coliseum.
"There, you have your town and family back. Now leave before…" Faust began.
"Do you think me an idiot?" Scythe questioned, interrupting Faust's ranting. "This isn't the entire lacrima. This is only a fraction of it."
"That's absurd." Faust countered.
"Oh really?" Scythe asked.
Pulling back his fist, Scythe slammed it into the lacrima, causing it to crack all the way up to the top, before it began to glow. The instant the light flashed and dissipated, the lacrima was replaced with Grey Fullbuster and Erza Scarlet, much to the shock of the people, who were seeing two Erza's, one standing beside Scythe, and the other standing beside the king.
"You are unfit to rule as King." Scythe stated, the circles on the backs of his hands lighting up as he gathered his magic into them. "Amaterasu, Raijin." He called out, as the two deities appeared in a flash of lightning and fire, surprising everyone in the arena even further.
"How may we assist you?" Amaterasu questioned.
"Find the rest of the lacrima, Magnolia has been turned into, and send it back to Earthland, posthaste, and if anyone stands in your way… do what you think is best to stop them."
"Now we're talking." Raijin smiled slamming his fists together, as they both disappeared into thin air.
"You have disgraced yourself as both a monarch, and a person." Scythe exclaimed.
In an instant, there was a large burst of light from a floating island, far off in the distance, near the capital and the Island of Extalia.
"Looks like they found it faster than I thought they would." Scythe said as the floating island was no longer there, and the King's face was filled with rage.
"How dare you. How dare you just waltz into my kingdom, and declare that our magic is yours for the taking?" King Faust shouted.
"I am only taking back what you have stolen." Scythe said as Amaterasu and Raijin appeared next to him once more. "As recompense for your multiple crimes of mass genocide on a global scale, this world shall inhabit magic no longer."
"Is there anything else you wish of us?" Raijin asked.
"Amaterasu, take anyone from Earthland, who isn't a slayer of any kind, back there. Raijin, you go to the Anima and fire it up in reverse, then once all the magic from this world is drained, I want you to set it to self-destruct." Scythe exclaimed.
"You got it chief." Raijin smiled before disappearing.
"I will have your head for this." Faust shouted. "Sugarboy, Hues, activate the Dorma-Anim."
"But your majesty it's forbidden that…"
"Just do it." Faust shouted.
Hues and Sugarboy both ran out of there, and moments later the ground beneath Scythe began to quake as the others rushed out to his side.
"What's going on?" Wendy questioned.
"Not good. This is not good." Shimura said.
"Shimura, Torino, Toshinori, evacuate the civilians, and make sure a panic isn't started." Scythe explained.
"Scythe what are you going to do?" Wendy asked as the trio of heroes left to fill out their roles.
"Nothing I can do really." Scythe said as the shaking became more intense, and a giant metal egg came out of the ground. "I used the last of my magic summoning Amaterasu and Kaijin, so I'm kinda powerless right now."
"What about your Celestial Magic?" Natsu asked.
"That only manifests itself in the form of raw physical strength and speed. Scythe and I can't do anything besides summoning the Celestial Spirit King with it." Miia said.
"That doesn't matter though." Scythe said standing firm as the egg began to open, revealing a large metal dragon. "You know, I read in a manga once, that a real hero, will always find a way for justice to be served."
"Scythe…"
"Don't interfere unless I need help." Scythe said grabbing what remained of his shirt, and tore it from his body. "I will end this, here and now."
"But what are we supposed to do?" Miia asked.
"Mystogan should be at the castle at this point. Velvet, you take Carla and go evacuate Extalia. With the magic beginning to deplete from Edolas, the islands will have no way of staying in the air."
"I don't think they're going to listen to me with the way I look." Velvet said.
"They'll listen to Carla, after all she is Queen Shagot's daughter." Scythe said looking back at them. "That's how they are able to have the same clairvoyance. Now get moving."
Just as Scythe said that, he had to hold up his arms and dig his feet into the ground, to keep himself from sliding back too far, as he took a punch from the Dorma-Anim. Taking this as their cue, the others ran to go and help out as best they could within the city, but Wendy stayed behind to watch in case he needed help.
"Impressive. You're able to withstand a direct hit from the Dorma-Anim's full strength in its first stage form." Faust said.
"You haven't seen nothing yet." Scythe growled.
(Cue Music… Break my body: Divide Music)
Scythe pushed back against the Dorma-Anim's fist, giving himself enough room, to wrap his arms around as much of its wrists as possible, before the veins bulged out on his arms and he flipped the monstrous machine through the air, slamming the magic device on its back.
"You'll pay for this you impudent little brat." Faust said, as the Dorma-Anim picked itself up.
Scythe jumped back, enhancing his strength with the Celestial Magic the Celestial Spirit King gave him, before clashing his fist with the Dorma-Anim's, creating a shockwave that blasted everything around them either through the air, or to the ground.
Scythe knew that the Dorma-Anim was running on finite magic, especially now since the magic was beginning to drain from Edolas thanks to Raijin reversing the Anima. Jumping high into the air, Scythe slammed his foot into the side of the Dorma-Anim with a roundhouse kick, sending the large mechanical monster to the ground, and destroying half the coliseum from the impact alone.
"Ow."
Scythe's ears perked up when he heard the cry of a familiar voice, and turned to see Wendy, with half her body buried under a pile of rubble. It looked like she was in pain, but to make things worse, Faust had spotted her just as the machine had finished entering its second form, and was about to stomp on her with the Dorma-Anim.
"Say good bye, to your precious fiancé." Faust laughed wickedly.
"NO." Scythe shouted, his body moving on its own.
Scythe, pushing as much strength into his body, went flying through the air, and pulling his right fist, as far back as it could go, slammed it into the Dorma-Anim, shattering its cockpit entirely, opening Faust to the world as Scythe grabbed him, and threw the man to the ground below.
Scythe went falling to the ground, landing with one of his fists in the ground, bent down on one knee, as the Dorma-Anim fell backwards, powering down.
(End Song…)
Scythe picked himself up and walked to Faust, before pressing a foot down on his chest, pinning him to the ground.
"You lose."
"GET AWAY FROM HIM." Nightwalker shouted, swinging her weapon at him.
Faster than she could look, Scythe caught the weapon by the neck under the spearhead. Pulling it from her hands, before slamming it into her stomach, and sending her careening to the other side of the coliseum.
As the last bits of magic began to leave the surface of the planet, Scythe turned around to see Mystogan walking up from behind, dragging behind an unconscious Natsu.
"Let me guess. He decided to play the villain for this?" Scythe asked.
"He did. An' he gave me a proper Fairy Tail sendoff at the same time." Mystogan smiled. "I thank you, for putting my father in his place. An' I think Gajeel finally found his flying cat partner."
"Pantherlilly?" Scythe questioned, as he went to go lift the rubble off of Wendy.
"Pretty much. They duked it out, and now are practically best friends."
"Well, I can't say I'm all that surprised you're staying behind. But I can guarantee that you won't have to worry about the Dorma-Anim ever again." Scythe said picking Wendy up in his arms, bridal style.
"So what's gonna happen now?" Wendy asked, her arms around his neck as they began to glow and float into the air.
"Now, we rebuild, and try to make our world worth living in once more." Mystogan said.
"I guess this is goodbye then." Scythe said. "Take care, and be a better king than your father."
